Surgery without overhead

July 20th, 2013

Little did I realize that an Oklahoma-based operation is challenging the current healthcare paradigm.

By creating the Surgery Center of Oklahoma, Smith and Lantier have fought back not only at big hospitals, but also at big insurance. Smith says that “gigantic hospital bills” benefit both entities through what he called “claims repricing.” Say a hospital charges $100,000 for a procedure, but a health insurance company discounts that bill to $42,000. Smith explains that the insurance company can then say it saved the employer group $58,000 and charge a percentage for that savings. The hospital can write off the $58,000 it didn’t get.

“The hospitals use this fictitious loss to bolster their numbers when they apply to the federal government for reimbursement for uncompensated care,” Smith says. “You finally realize that the insurance companies are perversely inclined to seek out the most expensive hospitals they can find.”

That was another reason that the Surgery Center of Oklahoma put its prices online, not only to attract some self-funded businesses that would rather pay $4,000 for a procedure instead of $40,000, but also to “shine some light on what’s going on.”

See: http://www.surgerycenterok.com/

So let me get this straight, when I pay my 20% and the insurance pays 80%,  I actually may be paying the whole amount and the insurance pays virtually nothing but continues to collect my premiums and makes me feel relieved that I have insurance and don’t mind those annual increases?

Our Heavenly Father continues to expose “unequal weights and measures”.

Is the 2013 Crisis at hand?

July 19th, 2013

Is Our Heavenly Father setting the globe up for a transition?

GlobalEurope Anticipation Bulletin believes and reported that the 2008 crisis as a warning before that of 2013. All of the world’s regions won’t be affected the same way but all will suffer. According to LEAP/ E2020 the stages of this second crisis  as follows:

-end 2013, financial impact: collapse of financial markets especially in the US and Japan. Banks can no longer be saved by the states and BAIL-Ins are put in place;

-end 2013 / 2014 spreading to the real economy: The financial impasse causes / reveals a major world recession and the reduction of international trade;

-2014, social impact: The economic deterioration causes unemployment to explode, in the United States the dollar’s decline lowers the standard of living, riots mushroom everywhere;

-2014 political crisis: the governments of the most affected countries are under fire for their handling of the crisis, forced resignations and early elections are expected, if not coups;

-2014-2015, international management of the crisis: together Euroland and the BRICS impose a new international monetary system and lay down the basis of new global governance;

-2015: The least affected regions have exited the crisis definitively;

-2018: It will take the United States, the United Kingdom and Japan five years to purge themselves of the crisis with, ultimately, a greatly reduced standard of living and a considerable loss of global influence (resulting from their refusal to participate in the re-casting of global governance on new bases).”

Each of us needs to be personally prepared.

Bankruptcies continue

July 19th, 2013

Pension Funds attempt to look out 50 years in their investment horizon.  The problem is that they are just a group of men taking their best educated guess.  In the 1980’s I had a life insurance policy that assumed long term rates to average 9%… wrong!  This was after the Federal Reserve had pushed rates up to 15% and above.  Now long term rates are pathetic and have lasted for 5 years due to another action by the Fed.  Detroit can thank the Federal Reserve in part for its bankruptcy.  Pension Funds are suppose to be self-funding based on the contributions of those who are now receiving checks.  However if you have financial bubbles popping everywhere, how can you properly invest the principal?  Money Managers used to look at “return on investment”.  Now they look at “return OF investment”.  There are no safe paper assets anymore.  You can thank the American Politicians for allowing banks to become casino operations.  The only assets with no intrinsic liability attached are gold, silver, oil, gas, farm land, and other tangible assets.

Wouldn’t you hate to wake up to that headline after spending 20-40 years as a city employee?

Preparation of the Remnant

July 18th, 2013

Yesterday I mentioned the fact that the Remnant for the Age of Pentecost was fully trained before that Day arrived.  Their final training of 40 days was by Our Lord Jesus Christ.  In John chapter 20 we find another aspect of their preparation:

19  Then, the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in the midst, and said to them, “Peace be with you.” 20  When He had said this, He showed them His hands and His side. Then the disciples were glad when they saw the Lord.

21  So Jesus said to them again, “Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.” 22  And when He had said this, He breathed on them, and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit. 23  If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven them; if you retain the sins of any, they are retained.”

People tend to look at the external signs as an indication of the “trigger” for the coming of the Kingdom.  Do you think that Our Heavenly Father is going to let Babylon fall with a Remnant who are not fully prepared?  HE hasn’t done that in the past and I don’t think HE will do it during this transition either.  You must ask yourself the following questions:

Do I have a full revelation of Love to the point where I see fruit of Love abounding in my life?

Do I have a revelation of the Law from Love’s perspective and can see why Our Heavenly Father invoked each Law for us to live by?

Do I understand the Divine Intent so that as Babylon falls I will respond in faith rather than fear?

Am I moving into unity with others with the same revelation or am I judging and remaining isolated or separated because they don’t have the revelation that I have?

Am I trying to change others rather than focusing on myself?

Am I clinging to the trappings of the current system or could I walk away from it today?

I believe that Jesus Christ will impart the necessary power and authority to the Remnant just before or as Babylon falls.  Those who are in unity will be empowered just like those who were in the Upper Room.  After His resurrection, Jesus breathed on the disciples.  He imparted a portion of His glorified life into them.  It was sufficient for the Age of Pentecost.  Our Heavenly Father breathed into Adam’s nostrils and gave him a glorified existence that lasted until the fall.  I believe that Adam walked in that state for 33 1/2 years.  After the fall, it took his body a long time to be overcome by death.

Our job is to prepare our vessels for the Purpose of the Remnant.  Our Heavenly Father has led us to provide the brethren with teachings to assist in this preparation.  Would you read an entire book for one new revelation?  I would and I do.  That is called thirsting and hungering after righteousness.  If Our Heavenly Father is in it, so am I.  This is why HE led us to publish the books offered at www.unity153.net.  This is why we offer them at no charge to those who have no resources.  This is why Stephen Jones at www.gods-kingdom-ministries.net writes blogs and books.  Are we infallible in our writings?  No, not yet.  However, I believe our intent is to line up with Our Heavenly Father’s Divine Intent.  The disciples spent 3 1/2 years following Jesus and had many occasions of “missing it”.  But once they were in their final training phase and breathed on, the fullness of their ministry came forth.  We need to focus on our own preparation, Our Heavenly Father will take care of the rest.  As I write this, I get ministered to by Our Heavenly Father so if I end up being the only one who reads these words, it is still worth it to me.  “Now is the time!”

In One Accord

July 17th, 2013

Just prior to the beginning of the Age of Pentecost, Jesus prepared the disciples for 40 days:

Acts 1:1   The former account I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach, 2   until the day in which He was taken up, after He through the Holy Spirit had given commandments to the apostles whom He had chosen, 3   to whom He also presented Himself alive after His suffering by many infallible proofs, being seen by them during forty days and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God.

The Disciples who were chosen were in “unity” and were in their final training prior to the Day of Pentecost.  Should we expect any less just prior to the fullness of the Age of Tabernacles?  Should we expect to have 40 days of intense preparation and “infallible proofs” just prior to the manifestation?  If so, could August be highly active for the Remnant?  I for one would be thrilled.

Selah!

The Fed is out of tools

July 16th, 2013

The Federal Reserve has painted itself into a corner.  Can you reduce interest rates to a negative level?  The 10 year bond yield has increased and that worries Bernanke and company.  There have been some resignations at the Fed and at the same time Harry Reid is trying to make it easier to get President Obama’s appointees approved through the Senate.  See: http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/politics/2013/07/harry-reid-vows-to-break-filibuster-rule-in-this-new-era/

I do agree with Reid, this is a new era coming but I have a different view of how it will look.  The U.S. is desperately trying to keep the Dollar in demand by initiating trade agreements that are dollar-based, mainly with Europe.  In the meantime, the Kings of the East are putting together a financial infrastructure that eliminates the Dollar as the world reserve currency.  They have had enough of the U.S. exporting devaluation to their shores.

I suspect that we may have one more attempt at a smackdown of gold and silver prices before the bottom of prices is in.  The problem in another smackdown is that most of the weak sellers of gold and silver have already exited the market.  The current buyers are longer term investors who are looking for bargains and are not scared by a price drop.  On the contrary, they hope they get another rock-bottom buying opportunity.  The current prices of gold and silver have put stress on the mining companies.  I am focusing on those companies with zero debt and cash in the bank.  Some of the senior producers will come out with ugly numbers this quarter as they cut away any excess and take the loss.  This should provide a stronger sector in coming quarters.

Bernanke publicly eluded to the fact that the unemployment numbers may be understated.  I wonder if he is now a subscriber to John Williams’ www.shadowstats.com?  We’ve been reporting this reality for some time.  What kind of shape is the economy in?  The following graph from Zero Hedge may tell the story:

The Covenant of Unity

July 16th, 2013

Love is the basis of a Covenant of Unity.  Throughout the Scripture, Our Heavenly Father has operated by covenant.  The first mention of “covenant” is found in Genesis 6:18:  But with thee will I establish my covenant; and thou shalt come into the ark, thou, and thy sons, and thy wife, and thy sons’ wives with thee.

What is a covenant?  Strong’s defines it as:

1) covenant, alliance, pledge

a) between men

1) treaty, alliance, league (man to man)

2) constitution, ordinance (monarch to subjects)

3) agreement, pledge (man to man)

4) alliance (of friendship)

5) alliance (of marriage)

b) between God and man

1) alliance (of friendship)

2) covenant (divine ordinance with signs or pledges)

It the broadest sense, creation has a covenant with Our Heavenly Father, The Creator.  HIS Divine Intent IS creation.  Just as the potter expresses his intent into the clay vessel, Our Heavenly Father expressed HIS Divine Intent into each one of us.  Each GOD particle that makes up our being is part of HIS Divine Intent and is held together by Love.  At our core, we are the expression of HIS Love and that is something we can’t escape or negate by our ignorance or lawlessness.

Effectively, each of us have a Covenant of Unity with Our Heavenly Father for each of us are HIS creation.  Each of our cells have a covenant with our other cells.  Our DNA communicates that unity thus there is no rejection in a normal functioning body.  When a group of cells are exposed to interference, the result can form cancer.  These cells are no longer functioning in unity but instead are moving the rest of the body toward death and destruction.  Their communication has been interrupted or cut off from the rest of the body.  They have “forgotten” their covenant with the rest of the body.  Love restores communication for it is the origin of the Intent.  It is the master blueprint of instruction and design.

The Covenant of Unity requires an understanding of the “glue” that holds it together.  That glue is the Revelation of Love.  This is why I focus on this core need in many of the writings.  Unity can only be fully achieved when Love is its basis.  Every covenant Our Heavenly Father enacted is based on HIS Love for mankind.  HE is the Potter.  Every true law is based on Love or it cannot be truly classified as a law.  All other attempts at legislation result from man’s self-centered attempt to control.

The Remnant is an expression of a Covenant of Unity.  The Remnant’s only desire is to carry out Our Heavenly Father’s ministry of reconciling men back to HIMSELF.  That was the mandate of Jesus’ walk on this earth.  As He stated, “I and [my] Father are one” (John 10:30).  He is in unity with Our Heavenly Father.  We are called to be in that same unity with Our Heavenly Father.

This Census is all about being in Unity.  A covenant is a pledge and your coin represents your pledge to a Unity representing Our Heavenly Father.  We are all called to serve mankind and as we move into unity the Body of Christ becomes functional.  Each member of the Body is important.  Each gift and calling is on this earth by Divine Intent.  No calling is greater than another but each is necessary to fulfill the Divine Intent that manifested the Sons for such a time as this.  Focus on removing any interference that is preventing you from being in unity with other members.  If you don’t understand Love, focus on it.  If you have unforgiveness, get over it and forgive the other person.  If you are called to be one of those “lively stones” making up the Temple, you must then be prepared to take your position.  You will then be in a Covenant of Unity!

Ambassadors for Christ

July 15th, 2013

2 Corinthians 5:19  that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation.

:20  Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech [you] by us: we pray [you] in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God.

In the last writing I spoke of the Census, to be counted in the Ministry of Reconciliation.  Paul goes further in the passage to share the fact that Love came to reconcile the world, not imputing or taking into account the trespasses.  Trespasses, or lapse or deviation from truth and uprightness, were dealt with by the Blood of Jesus Christ.  Dr. Speckhart in our online Bible study yesterday discussed the fact that Jesus Christ removed the power of the “anti-particles” by His Blood.   This was HIS work, not ours.  We are to be “ambassadors” or mature sons, elders, who represent Christ.  Paul understood that we are to become walking testimonies of the Love of Our Heavenly Father.  This unconditional Love will penetrate even the hardest heart.  Paul knows, he was one of the vessels of dishonor who had much to be reconciled before Christ.  Who better to minister the understanding of reconciliation than the man who needed it the most!

The above verse blows away man’s attempt to send the sinner into eternal damnation.  But just the opposite is to occur.  The Ministry of Reconciliation is to bring all men unto Christ.  How?  By our walk, actions, and words.  Love will testify of itself and pierce men’s hearts.  Love will provide the solutions to men’s problems and coming crises.  Love will righteously judge those vessels of dishonor.  Love will pose the question in a supernatural setting “why persecutest thou me?”.  HIS ways are above our ways and HIS ministry will strike the hearts of all men.  HIS judgments and mercy will provide an irresistible call to reconciliation.  Now is the time!  Be counted, be prepared, be ready!

The Ministry of Reconciliation

July 14th, 2013

Isn’t that the endgame for the Overcomers, the Remnant, that Our Heavenly Father has reserved for this time?  Paul wrote in 2 Corinthians:

5:18  And all things [are] of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;

The word “ministry” is the Greek word “diakonia” which means those who serve, those who by the command of God proclaim and promote HIS Kingdom.

The word “reconciliation” is the Greek word “katallagē” which means to exchange for money, exchanging equivalent values thus it would relate to a ransom.  Our Heavenly Father established your ransom value in Leviticus when HE proclaimed the Census both times.  Stephen Jones was led to call forth a Census for the Jubilee Prayer Campaign in 1993. (See http://www.gods-kingdom-ministries.net/daily-weblogs/2013/05-2013/new-census-being-taken/).  We are now conducting the second Census.  Isn’t a Jubilee all about restoration?

Leviticus 25:8   ‘And you shall count seven sabbaths of years for yourself, seven times seven years; and the time of the seven sabbaths of years shall be to you forty-nine years.

9   Then you shall cause the trumpet of the Jubilee to sound on the tenth day of the seventh month; on the Day of Atonement you shall make the trumpet to sound throughout all your land.

10   And you shall consecrate the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land to all its inhabitants. It shall be a Jubilee for you; and each of you shall return to his possession, and each of you shall return to his family.

11  That fiftieth year shall be a Jubilee to you; in it you shall neither sow nor reap what grows of its own accord, nor gather the grapes of your untended vine.

12  For it is the Jubilee; it shall be holy to you; you shall eat its produce from the field.

You see why our current Census is to be completed on the Day of Atonement.  That is the Day of Reconciliation.  One would think that the Ministry of Reconciliation might begin on the Day of Atonement.  We called a second Census for those who are led to be counted for the entrance into the Promised Land.  Remember that during the time of Moses the land needed to be taken from the lawlessness of the inhabitants that prevailed at that time.  The land needed to be restored and reconciled back to the proper ownership.  After it was “reconciled” then the inheritance was distributed to those who were counted.

If you have not registered for the Census, ask Our Heavenly Father if you should?  If you don’t hear a response, wait until you do… either a yes or a no.  Silence may mean you are being challenged to see if you will pursue an answer.  Our ego wants to remain in control.  The Ministry of Reconciliation is all about serving as Paul stated in the passage above.  Our ego wants us to serve “it” and no other.  I believe these are times where the stakes are high.  Once in the Promised Land, there were two covenants made:  The Covenant at Gilgal(Rolling) and The Covenant at Shechem (Ridge).  At the Covenant at Shechem, Joshua spoke the following:

Joshua 24:14   “Now therefore, fear the LORD, serve Him in sincerity and in truth, and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the River and in Egypt. Serve the LORD! 15 And if it seems evil to you to serve the LORD, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.”

To read more about the Census, go to: http://www.servias.org/?cat=11 and read the blogs back to May 1st.

To register for the Census, sign up at www.unity153.net and during the entry of “Your Information”, mark the box to register.  If you do not mark the box, you are not signed up for the Census.  You can then send a coin to Servias Ministries, PO BOX 1471, Bethany, OK 73008.  If you do not have a coin and cannot get one, tell us.  We will provide you a coin from the Treasury and will assign it to you.  Those of you who sent in a coin and did not go to unity153.net, we entered your information on your behalf so that we could properly account for the Census and audit the Treasury of the ransom money.

The Census will be completed in 62 days.

From Dishonor to Honor

July 13th, 2013

In the last blog we focused on the reality that vessels of honor were converted from vessels of dishonor.  Isn’t that how all of us started out?  Each of us needed to be saved thus we were vessels of dishonor.  Isn’t the ultimate calling of the Remnant to minister “conversion” to those vessels of dishonor to become vessels of honor?  Or is it simply to get a glorified body and be exalted over everyone else and rule as one of the new “elite”?  The purpose of walking around in a glorified body is to be a part of the global conversion of dishonor to honor in the broadest sense.  It is to serve mankind, not to rule over them as a taskmaster or exalted king seeking his own.

We must embrace the Sufferings of Christ that we may bring forth conversion or transformation in those who Our Heavenly Father has placed in our path.  It is not Our Heavenly Father’s will that any should perish, no matter what level of dishonor they are currently walking in.  Saul (who is Paul) is an excellent example.  Many have focused on his encounter with Jesus Christ as the critical point of his conversion.  I would submit that Stephen’s sufferings for Christ was the seed planted that later resulted in his conversion.  Let’s look at Stephen’s example of an overcomer:

Acts 6:8  And Stephen, full of faith and power, did great wonders and signs among the people.

The first thing we must consider is that Stephen was walking out his calling, he was empowered.  His fruit had been observed as we see earlier when the need arose for some men to oversee the needs of the people:

:3  Therefore, brethren, seek out from among you seven men of good reputation, full of the Holy Spirit and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business;

It is clear that Stephen understood the seven pillars of Wisdom found in Proverbs and was known for his observable good fruit.  He was going to need that wisdom.  Soon there were people who would dispute the message of the Gospel.  They conspired to bring forth a false witness against him to shut him up.  They saw that his message would cause them to lose control of their elite status among the people.  When they brought him forth to the council, something happened:

:15 And all who sat in the council, looking steadfastly at him, saw his face as the face of an angel.

Stephen’s face transformed to that of an angel?  One must conclude that there was evidence of “glorification” on his face, similar to Moses.  How else would they see a change and describe it in angelic terms?  Stephen then provides them with a revelation of Scripture and tells them that “However, the Most High does not dwell in temples made with hands”.  He then expresses words of judgment over them: “You stiff-necked and uncircumcised in heart and ears!”  Clearly, they did not have Circumcised Hearts of Love.  The culmination of his ministry had arrived:

Acts 7:54 When they heard these things they were cut to the heart, and they gnashed at him with their teeth. 55  But he, being full of the Holy Spirit, gazed into heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God, 56  and said, “Look! I see the heavens opened and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God!”

The ultimate suffering was at hand.  Now enters Saul into the picture:

:58  and they cast him out of the city and stoned him. And the witnesses laid down their clothes at the feet of a young man named Saul.

Saul was to oversee the final suffering of Stephen for Christ.  Little did he realize that Stephen was planting a righteous seed into Saul that would later turn his life upside down.  Saul was zealous and focused in his job of persecuting Christians.  However, the words of Stephen were planted into Saul’s heart and those righteous words of Love and forgiveness would ultimately bring forth good fruit:

:59  And they stoned Stephen as he was calling on God and saying, “Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.” 60  Then he knelt down and cried out with a loud voice, “Lord, do not charge them with this sin.” And when he had said this, he fell asleep.

Stephen’s last words were instrumental in the conversion of Saul from a vessel of dishonor to a vessel of honor.  He planted the seed in Saul’s life.  He started the process that was irreversible.  This set the stage for Saul to meet Jesus on the road to Damascus but while this seed was growing, Saul continued to persecute the Christians.  One might think that Stephen’s suffering was to no avail but Our Heavenly Father does everything in HIS own timing.  The fullness of Saul’s unrighteousness needed to fully mature.

Acts 9:

1 Then Saul, still breathing threats and murder against the disciples of the Lord, went to the high priest 2 and asked letters from him to the synagogues of Damascus, so that if he found any who were of the Way, whether men or women, he might bring them bound to Jerusalem.

3 As he journeyed he came near Damascus, and suddenly a light shone around him from heaven. 4 Then he fell to the ground, and heard a voice saying to him,“Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?”

5 And he said, “Who are You, Lord?”

Then the Lord said, “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting.  It is hard for you to kick against the goads.”

6 So he, trembling and astonished, said, “Lord, what do You want me to do?”

Then the Lord said to him, “Arise and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do.”

Paul had his “Come to Jesus” meeting on the road to Damascus.  Stephen set the stage for the conversion.  He planted the seed that ultimately resulted in Paul’s face-to-face meeting with Jesus Christ.  Jesus communicated that reality that Stephen was “one” with Jesus when He posed the question to Saul: “Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?”.  Saul responded to the Word of GOD and the Sufferings of Christ observed in Stephen.  Paul was forgiven of much and much was required of him, he did mighty things for the Kingdom.  He once was a vessel of dishonor but now he is a vessel of honor.

Stephen is a type and shadow of an overcomer.  It wasn’t until he walked in the fullness of faith and power did he fulfill his calling.  Shouldn’t this be the focus of the aspiring overcomer?  Rather than focusing on the external, maybe we should be focusing on the internal.  Could it be that until the Remnant is fully matured that the lawlessness will continue to prevail?  In the Parable of the Wheat and the Tares, the tares (those who practice lawlessness) were allowed to continue grow until the wheat had fully matured.  Once the wheat was fully matured, “Then the righteous will shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears to hear, let him hear!’”
