Love Serves, Lust Exploits

April 4th, 2016

Lust means: a desire, craving, longing, desire for what is forbidden.  There are people who lust for sex while others lust for power, fame, and fortune.  They all have a similar problem- they are respond primarily to their fleshly desires at the expense of others.  They will use manipulative means to get what they want at all costs.  The Apostle Paul knew exactly what lust was when he was Saul for he took no prisoners when he was rising up in the ranks among the Jews.  As we know, Jesus had a  corrective interview with him.  The good news is that Paul repented and penned two thirds of the New Testament by THE HOLY SPIRIT.  In Galatians chapter 5 he wrote:

13 For you, brethren, have been called to liberty; only do not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.

14 For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”

15 But if you bite and devour one another, beware lest you be consumed by one another!

Those who lust consume and devour at others’ expense.  They look for ways to extract resources from others without regard of the consequences.  They attempt to exalt themselves above others, wanting to be served at all cost.  King Saul represents this mindset.  Saul had everything going for him as we see in 1 Samuel chapter 9:

1 There was a man of Benjamin whose name was Kish the son of Abiel, the son of Zeror, the son of Bechorath, the son of Aphiah, a Benjamite, a mighty man of power.

2 And he had a choice and handsome son whose name was Saul. There was not a more handsome person than he among the children of Israel. From his shoulders upward he was taller than any of the people.

Saul looked the part of a king- tall and handsome.  FATHER told Samuel to anoint Saul King because of the cries of the people so FATHER gave them what they wanted.  He was selected king but was unable to handle the anointing given to him for he was not patient and took matters into his own hand.  This resulted in Samuel’s response when Saul failed to wait for his arrival before presenting burnt offerings in chapter 13:

13 And Samuel said to Saul, “You have done foolishly. You have not kept the commandment of the LORD your God, which He commanded you. For now the LORD would have established your kingdom over Israel forever.

14 But now your kingdom shall not continue. The LORD has sought for Himself a man after His own heart, and the LORD has commanded him to be commander over His people, because you have not kept what the LORD commanded you.”

This story provides us a contrast between a person who uses the anointing for his own benefit versus one who Loves FATHER fully and completely.  David’s anointing was proven by the lion, the bear, and Goliath.  This shepherd boy simply wanted to do FATHER’S Will and understood FATHER’S Heart.  He was willing to serve whereas Saul wanted to be served.

Saul’s impatience cost him the crown.  If he had only waited another 24 hours and allowed the proper order to be fulfilled.  How sad, but things get worse.  In chapter 16, Saul develops a new problem, a distressing spirit comes upon him and he can’t sleep:

14 But the Spirit of the LORD departed from Saul, and a distressing spirit from the LORD troubled him.

15 And Saul’s servants said to him, “Surely, a distressing spirit from God is troubling you.

The only solution to this distressing spirit is to bring David into his midst to play the harp:

16 Let our master now command your servants,who are before you, to seek out a man who is a skillful player on the harp. And it shall be that he will play it with his hand when the distressing spirit from God is upon you, and you shall be well.”

David’s anointing kept the “distressing” spirit at bay and Saul was able to function for a time.  But in the end, Saul would be replaced by Love’s anointing.  Lust may prevail for a time but it has no future.  You have a choice to walk in the Spirit of Love or walk in lust as Saul did.  Paul urges us in Galatians chapter 5

16 I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.

17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish.

18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.

In the Old Testament we find two men with different spirits: one of lust and the other of Love.  In the New Testament we see one man who walked in those same two spirits: lust (Saul) and Love (Paul).  Thankfully men can die to the flesh and become a new creation for Paul proved this reality.  What better person for FATHER to use to convey the Truth of Love versus lust.

Be Fruitful

April 3rd, 2016

When FATHER created Adam and Eve HE spoke the following over them in Genesis chapter 1:

28  Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”

Blessing in this case is to cause to prosper resulting in being fruitful and multiplying.  This blessing expects growth and expansion in somewhat of a dramatic fashion, not barely getting by at a subsistence level of living.   FATHER expressed HIS clear Divine Intent for their lives.  After the flood, FATHER once again reiterated HIS Divine Intent with Noah in chapter 9:

1 So God blessed Noah and his sons, and said to them: “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth.

2 And the fear of you and the dread of you shall be on every beast of the earth, on every bird of the air, on all that move on the earth, and on all the fish of the sea. They are given into your hand.

3 Every moving thing that lives shall be food for you. I have given you all things, even as the green herbs.”

From Adam to Noah, FATHER had no variance in HIS intent for those who wanted to walk according to HIS Divine Intent- to be blessed.  Once again in Deuteronomy chapter 28 FATHER established HIS Intent by proclaiming to the children of Israel:

1 “Now it shall come to pass, if you diligently obey the voice of the LORD your God, to observe carefully all His commandments which I command you today, that the LORD your God will set you high above all nations of the earth.

2 And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, because you obey the voice of the LORD your God:

3 “Blessed shall you be in the city, and blessed shall you be in the country.

4 “Blessed shall be the fruit of your body, the produce of your ground and the increase of your herds, the increase of your cattle and the offspring of your flocks.

5 “Blessed shall be your basket and your kneading bowl.

6 “Blessed shall you be when you come in, and blessed shall you be when you go out.

7 “The LORD will cause your enemies who rise against you to be defeated before your face; they shall come out against you one way and flee before you seven ways.

8 “The LORD will command the blessing on you in your storehouses and in all to which you set your hand, and He will bless you in the land which the LORD your God is giving you.”

Has FATHER’S Divine Intent changed since these declarations?  Not at all.  Our expectations or lack thereof may be keeping us from HIS blessings.  The ego wants to keep you in submission by rationalizing away your current orientation of scarcity.  I am not talking about worldly excess but instead I am focused on those resources you need for the fulfillment of your purpose.  Paul wrote in Philippians chapter 4:

19 And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

If you need seed to plant a crop, expect FATHER to provide.  If you need to travel to minister life to others, expect FATHER to provide a means.  True abundance is unique to each person’s calling.  Some may require more assets to complete their mission while others require minimal resources.  Each calling has its own specific resources to fulfill what FATHER has ordained.  Look to HIM, not others’ faith as your source.

There are those who want to ride along and extract your resources for their consumption.  These circumstances require your discernment and ability to hear from FATHER concerning your interaction with them.  When fruit trees fail to produce, FATHER has commanded that they be cut down and thrown into the fire.  When they take up resources meant for others and fail to produce, they are given an extra year by HIS Grace to be fruitful.  Otherwise, they are to be removed.  Be fruitful for FATHER ordained it.

Pressure precedes Promotion

April 2nd, 2016

Many people try to avoid pressure at all cost but without pressure one will never be promoted to a higher and more mature level.  Exercise requires the muscle to have resistance or pressure applied for it to grow.  Test after test will bring forth strength to withstand even greater challenges.  This is true for those who are called to do greater things in the Kingdom.  Enemies will rise up against you and you will be challenged to see how you handle the stress.  Will you walk in the confidence that FATHER is with you or will you display fear?  Will you explode into rage?

Jesus had to endure great pressure.  In Matthew chapter 26:

36 Then Jesus came with them to a place called Gethsemane, and said to the disciples, “Sit here while I go and pray over there.”

37 And He took with Him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, and He began to be sorrowful and deeply distressed.

38 Then He said to them, “My soul is exceedingly sorrowful, even to death. Stay here and watch with Me.”

39 He went a little farther and fell on His face, and prayed, saying, “O My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as You will.

The word “Gethsemane” means oil press.  What an appropriate meaning for the place where Jesus had to place His mind, will, and emotions into submission for the good of all mankind.  The betrayal was at hand and His enemies were soon to arrive, the pressure was building to a crescendo as the fulfillment of His purpose on earth was about to be completed.  This process was necessary for Him to be exalted to the Throne over men’s lives here on earth.

When pressure comes, Love, faith, and hope should have you prepared to overcome your enemy.  On the other side of the battle is your next promotion.  These writings are meant to prepare you for greater things and the fulfillment of your purpose.  You will have times when you have to go to your own Gethsemane and be encouraged before the confrontation arrives.  Fear not but know FATHER will muster the resources to bring forth victory in your life.  King David brought forth this declaration of faith in Psalms 27:

1 The LORD is my light and my salvation;

Whom shall I fear?

The LORD is the strength of my life;

Of whom shall I be afraid?

2 When the wicked came against me To eat up my flesh,

My enemies and foes, They stumbled and fell.

3 Though an army may encamp against me,

My heart shall not fear;

Though war may rise against me, In this I will be confident.

4 One thing I have desired of the LORD,

That will I seek:

That I may dwell in the house of the LORD

All the days of my life,

To behold the beauty of the LORD,

And to inquire in His temple.

5 For in the time of trouble

He shall hide me in His pavilion;

In the secret place of His tabernacle

He shall hide me;

He shall set me high upon a rock.

6 And now my head shall be lifted up above my enemies all around me;

Therefore I will offer sacrifices of joy in His tabernacle;

I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the LORD.

Remember, without the lion, the bear, and Goliath, David would not have been anything but a shepherd.  Without Pharaoh, Moses would not have been needed to deliver the children of Israel.  Without the enemies of Christ, the cross would not have happened.  Deal with whatever life sends your way knowing that your Loving FATHER is with you.  Pressure builds strength, strength brings forth victory, and victory results in promotion.

Forget Not HIS Promises

April 1st, 2016

A promise is a declaration or assurance that one will do a particular thing or that a particular thing will happen.  In Psalms 77, it is written:

8 Has His mercy ceased forever?

Has His promise failed forevermore?

Throughout Scripture, FATHER has declared WHO HE is and what HE does with 100% consistency, trust, and reliance.  Stop and think about this before proceeding…

How would you like everyone you dealt with to have the same consistency as FATHER?  Yes it would be refreshing to be able to trust the words of others, especially those who declare themselves to be Christians.  These days you must frequently assess the intent behind the words you hear to see if they are truly genuine or are they simply trying to manipulate and exploit you for their own benefit.  On the other hand, FATHER makes promises and does not fail to keep them.

In the old days, a man’s word was his bond and then it was followed up by a handshake.  These days it requires a legal document, the longer the better, to cover all potential attempts to break the promise made.  Men looking for loopholes are simply lawless and manipulative.  The U.S. has more lawyers per capita than any other country on earth which speaks volumes concerning the state of morals and ethics of our population.  Is there any wonder why things are in such a mess?  Is it surprising to you to find every financial market manipulated by those in control?  The hearts of the people are reflected in the leadership.

We, on the other hand, should reflect our FATHER’S Character.  When we make a promise we should do everything in our power to keep that promise.  We should never make a promise we don’t intend to honor.  In the early 1980’s we were attending a small church and made an unsigned financial pledge for a particular need.  The pastor asked only to write an amount on a piece of paper and place it in the offering box.  No one knew our pledge amount.  Later we were led to help start a gathering on the north side of the city.  After only a few weeks, FATHER brought our pledge to remembrance.  We immediately called the pastor and met with him to hand him the check.  It was sizeable for us but nonetheless it was important to follow through.  Most people simply “forget” their word and hope there is no record of it… anywhere.  The former pastor was a little surprised but thankful.

FATHER has a full and complete record of your words.  Job tells us in chapter 16:

19 Surely even now my witness is in heaven, And my evidence is on high.

And in Revelation chapter 20:

11 Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. The earth and the heavens fled from his presence, and there was no place for them.

12 And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books.

Words have power and often contain promises or declarations.  When FATHER promises us eternal life, we expect HIM to keep HIS Word.  When HE proclaims HIMSELF to be the GOD WHO HEALETH THEE (Jehovah Rapha), we should also expect HIM to keep HIS Word in the area of healing as well.  It is important to identify HIS promises and then be fully persuaded that HE will fulfill every promise HE has stated.  Identifying and believing the promise brings forth hope.  Trusting that HE can and will keep the promise brings forth faith.  Mature Sons and Daughters will exude the same level of consistency as FATHER.  Their promises will be as solid as HIS.  Let us keep the reality of HIS Promises before us each day.  Let us be reminded of these Promises in our daily interactions with others.

An Appropriate Quote for Today

March 31st, 2016

From the poet Robert Frost, “How many things have to happen to you before something occurs to you?”

Selah!

Coming Into Full Maturity

March 31st, 2016

Paul wrote in Ephesians chapter 4:

11 And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers,

12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ,

13 till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ;

14 that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting,

15 but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ—

16 from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.

What it the primary purpose of a fruit tree?  Is it to consume water and nutrients?  Is it simply to provide shade?  No, it is to produce good fruit to be consumed and promote life.  This is a picture of our purpose here on earth.  FATHER gave us the five-fold ministry for the purpose of bringing each of us into full maturity so that we can produce effective results for the Kingdom.

I have no issue with people attending church but attending church day in and day out is like becoming a professional student, never really becoming a productive member of society.  If you stay in school forever then what is the point of your education?  A fruit tree is called to be fruitful, not just take up space and suck the life out of the soil with no tangible result.  The intent of the church should be to mature the saints so they can become productive members of the Kingdom and spread the Gospel in some fashion with Love as the intent.

To edify means to build up and cause to grow.  If the church is not promoting growth and spiritual maturity then what is the point of opening the doors each week?  Each of us should be coming into full maturity in Christ so that we too will allow the Gospel of the Kingdom to flow not only to us from Above but through us to others.  We are called to become spiritually mature and fruitful else we are simply taking up space.

Children are tossed to and fro because their minds are not spiritually mature enough to stay the course.  Each week they need a new spiritual “high” and have developed little or no patience for the Word to take effect in their lives.  They are impatient for results.  They end of producing no fruit of any value.  The fruit they do produce is not enough for others to be supplied for these little ones tend to consume all the fruit they produce on themselves.  They are self-serving.

A fully matured believer will produce healthy, mature fruit day in and day out.  You can trust their continuous production of fruit for they have proven themselves over time.  They are faithful to their calling and are open to the deeper aspects of the Kingdom.  Their reliance is on FATHER rather than on man.  They consider what others are saying as possible revelation but weigh their words as possibilities until FATHER confirms the Word.  They don’t look for signs to confirm a word but instead signs follow them as they walk out HIS Word.  They know FATHER’S Character and ways rather than just HIS acts.

They become sensitive to the needs of others so they can minister and supply needs as FATHER directs.  They promote unity rather than division but they are uncompromising when it comes to those who come forth in cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting.  They are unwilling to compromise the Word and will not condone those who do.  They are able to inspect the fruit coming forth to discern whether the fruit is good or bad.

The Body of Christ is to become mature without spot or wrinkle.  Each member must mature into their particular calling so that the entire body will not be lacking in any aspect.  We must focus on being givers not takers.  Let our resources be for HIS use and purpose as we supply every joint.  Let nothing prevent us from achieving full maturity.

Abundance Through Grace

March 30th, 2016

In Romans chapter 5, Paul wrote:

17 For if by the one man’s offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.

By HIS nature FATHER is in the abundance business and we should expect nothing less.  Sin, sickness, and death prevailed in the world before Jesus came with the fullness of the solution.  He did not die for just 5% of the global population but instead He died and shed His Blood for all mankind.  The solution to our problems are not found in the opinions of carnally-minded men and women who have yet to embrace the Wisdom from Above but our solutions are found in the Throne Room of Heaven.

No matter how severe the problem, grace abounds and is greater than any situation you find yourself in.  Just as Adam’s sin spread from one to many, the gift or righteousness will spread to men in even a greater fashion for it is a free gift requiring no one to be deserving of such a gift.  FATHER’S grace is sufficient enough that all men are covered by the Blood of Christ.  This is the hope of the Gospel of Christ and this is exactly why we are told by Jesus in His resurrected state to go into all the world without limitation.  One man’s sin (Adam) is not greater than the Blood of the manifested Son of GOD.

FATHER’S abundance through grace does not stop with salvation even though many people have a difficult time grasping the reality of abundance in other areas addressed by FATHER.  HE performed many healings in the Old Testament which was incomplete relative to the new and better covenant of the New Testament.  FATHER’S Characteristic of provision was not delayed or held back until the manifestation of Jesus.  When Abraham was in the midst of making a covenant with FATHER, he was prepared to sacrifice Isaac yet FATHER in HIS Love provided another form of sacrifice.  In Genesis chapter 22:

13 Then Abraham lifted his eyes and looked, and there behind him was a ram caught in a thicket by its horns. So Abraham went and took the ram, and offered it up for a burnt offering instead of his son.

14 And Abraham called the name of the place, The-LORD-Will-Provide; as it is said to this day, “In the Mount of the LORD it shall be provided.”

FATHER’S Name of Jehovah Jireh, the LORD of Provision, was revealed before even the Law was given.  FATHER’S Grace is found throughout history, not just dependent or restricted to certain situations or time frames.  FATHER is constantly expanding HIS abundance through HIS grace and today is no different.  HE expanded the inclusion of HIS provision through Christ so no man would be left out of HIS grace and mercy.  HE did this through the priesthood of Jesus Christ as revealed in Hebrews chapter 5:

14 For it is evident that our Lord arose from Judah, of which tribe Moses spoke nothing concerning priesthood.

15 And it is yet far more evident if, in the likeness of Melchizedek, there arises another priest

16 who has come, not according to the law of a fleshly commandment, but according to the power of an endless life. 17 For He testifies:

“You are a priest forever

According to the order of Melchizedek.”

18 For on the one hand there is an annulling of the former commandment because of its weakness and unprofitableness,

19 for the law made nothing perfect; on the other hand, there is the bringing in of a better hope, through which we draw near to God.

The universe is ever expanding just as when seeds are planted the harvest surpasses the amount of seeds planted.  FATHER instituted the Law of Abundance in all areas.  The limitation arises only in our minds and flesh for the flesh thrives on scarcity whereas the Kingdom of FATHER thrives in abundance.  Aligning yourself with FATHER will move you toward abundance in grace as well as other areas.  Psalms chapter 34 speaks of this reality:

10 The young lions lack and suffer hunger;

But those who seek the LORD shall not lack any good thing.

11 Come, you children, listen to me;

I will teach you the fear of the LORD.

12 Who is the man who desires life,

And loves many days, that he may see good?

13 Keep your tongue from evil,

And your lips from speaking deceit.

14 Depart from evil and do good;

Seek peace and pursue it.

Set Your Mind

March 29th, 2016

In Romans chapter 8, Paul wrote:

5 For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.

6 For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

Each of us has the decision-making ability to determine our future.  We all have a choice or else there would be no point for having a Bible to lead and guide us through this physical life.  Throughout Scripture we are told to do and pursue certain things and likewise steer clear of other actions.  There are laws to live by and if you do so the results will promote life and health whereas if you choose to defy the basic laws you will surely die by way of the path of destruction.  Will you choose a life of Love or will you choose another path?  The decision is yours… choose life.

The choice is simple until your flesh gets involved.  The flesh wants its way and will enslave you if you allow it to take control of your life.  It relies on your five physical senses to  promote its agenda and strengthen its hold on you.  When you allow your mind to focus on satisfying the needs of the flesh, the result is ultimately death and destruction.

When you set your mind on the things of the SPIRIT and begin to live according to the SPIRIT, life and peace are the result.  You realize that life becomes less complicated and your Love for mankind increases.  You become more sensitive and compassionate to those in need and you do not see war and conflict as the answer to life’s challenges.  Your fleshly desires are no longer in control of your life and you don’t dwell on thoughts which would pursue the path of death and destruction.

In Paul’s letter to Titus we find:

15 To the pure all things are pure, but to those who are defiled and unbelieving nothing is pure; but even their mind and conscience are defiled.

16 They profess to know God, but in works they deny Him, being abominable, disobedient, and disqualified for every good work.

Your flesh seeks to direct your thoughts away from purity and focus on the fleshly desires.  Yet as you continually set your mind to the things Above, you will cleanse and purify your heart and mind until you finally perceive a purity of purpose.  Once you get to this point you gain clarity in your purpose and calling.  When you rise up above the complexities created by the flesh, you will then see the futility and emptiness created by living in such a manner.  You will be astonished at the waste of time, energy, and other resources that take place when living according to the flesh.

What happens as a result of a setting your mind to the things of the SPIRIT?  Your heart becomes pure and Jesus shares the results of such a heart in Matthew chapter 5:

8 Blessed are the pure in heart,

For they shall see GOD.

Your eyes will be opened to how FATHER is in everything.  You will gain appreciation for every aspect of life and look at all challenges as an aspect of your Spiritual growth and maturity.  You will become one with nature since FATHER is the Creator of every living thing.  Suddenly the beauty that has been hidden in plain sight will be noticed and honored for FATHER’S Divine Intent is found throughout the universe.  You become more sensitive to the children as they fix their gaze upon you because you are emitting a pleasant aura.  Yes, that is a scientific reality that everything and every person emits a vibrational state that is visible to those who are able to see it.  Babies can easily perceive auras and that is why they will cry when certain people get close to them.  As your heart becomes pure, your vibrational state increases and all aspects of your being moves toward life and peace.  Jesus continues in Matthew chapter 5:

9 Blessed are the peacemakers,

For they shall be called sons of God.

By setting your mind toward Love and life, you begin the process toward becoming a mature Son.  It is a simple and straightforward path but very narrow.  Only those willing to crucify the flesh will stay on the path but it can be achieved or else we would not be instructed to pursue it.

The Power of Positive Thinking and Confession

March 28th, 2016

Any Truth in Scripture can be misused for selfish motives.  There have been many books written about the power of positive thinking and generally they are at least half true.  Some believers have distanced themselves from basic Spiritual Truths due to publicized misuse of those Truths.  For example, a used car salesman may confess success over and over again as he misrepresents the value and condition of a car to a prospective buyer.  Does that negate positive confession?  Not at all.  Misuse of revelation for personal gain does not undermine the basic Truth behind the Spiritual Law.

In Philippians chapter 4 Paul wrote:

10 But I rejoiced in the Lord greatly that now at last your care for me has flourished again; though you surely did care, but you lacked opportunity.

11 Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content:

12 I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound. Everywhere and in all things I have learned both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.

13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

What a positive confession!  Shouldn’t we all think and ponder about the promises given to us by Our Heavenly Father?  Shouldn’t we confess those promises even in the face of adversity?  The Beloved Disciple John write in 1 John:

4  Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

Is it a lie to confess what FATHER has spoken about you?  No, we should be willing to express HIS Truth in our life no matter what circumstance we find our self in.  There is power in our words and we should confess HIS Truth rather than accepting the temporary circumstances before us.  Are we to deny the circumstances or adversities we are facing?  Of course not.  Denial doesn’t result in a solution, confessing HIS Promise concerning the circumstance instills hope and expectation of the resolution or deliverance needed.

Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

2 For by it the elders obtained a good testimony.

3 By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.

If you have a disease, you need to place your hope and faith in FATHER’S Promises in the area of your need.  You actually acknowledge your sickness when you proclaim your healing because healing only comes after sickness is detected.  Confession plants the seeds of Truth in your mind, will, and emotions and both your spirit and your soul can and will effect change in your body.

The power of positive thinking without Truth supporting it will only be partially effective.  When you stand on FATHER’S Word you energize your thinking which will maximize results.  In Romans chapter 10 Paul wrote:

10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Believing and confessing are basic Scriptural principles we should all embrace.  Our current circumstances are temporary and as we truly believe and confess HIS Word, those circumstance become subject to change.  That is a fundamental Truth of Romans 10:10 else a sinner could never be saved and a believer would not be healed.

In the above verse, the word salvation comes from the root word sōzō.  This word means: to save, keep safe and sound, to rescue from danger or destruction; to save a suffering one (from perishing), i.e. one suffering from disease, to make well, heal, restore to health.  Our confession needs to line up with FATHER’S promises of health and healing.  Our mouth can be a hindrance to hope, faith, and the manifestation of healing.  We should guard our words.

What if someone belittles you because your words have not manifested a change to the situation?  Who cares?  Let them remain subject to circumstances while you trust IN HIM.  Abraham was not moved by his age or the barren state of Sarah.  Moses was not moved by the power of Pharaoh.  Joshua and Caleb were not moved by the giants in the land.  If FATHER says it, believe it, and confess it before men.  It is HE who has the power to change the temporary and as you align yourself with HIS Word in your thinking and speech, you will truly tap into the power of positive thinking.
