Attaining Perfection

June 16th, 2016

Each of us is accountable and responsible for our personal growth and maturity.  Though it is important to receive instruction in our areas of weakness, we must not perpetually look to others to determine our state.  At some point we are to minister to others with the calling we have been given by FATHER and to become a blessing ourselves.  To grow we must endure trials and testings and those of us who have been on this path longer can provide assurance that those trials will pass at some point and you will be stronger as a result.  James wrote by THE SPIRIT in the first chapter of his epistle:

2 My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials,

3 knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience.

4 But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.

We must acknowledge that we can become perfect and complete in order to attain perfection in our walk.  If we belittle ourselves and listen to others who would attempt to disparage us, we will lose sight of this goal of perfection. It is important for each of us to realize that FATHER would not urge us to attain perfection if it were not possible and reasonable to expect it.  Thus we should be mindful and pursue it.

There are two aspects of “lacking nothing”.  First, FATHER will provide you everything you need and second, as you mature in Christ you will find that you need less than you thought for the world’s trappings are no longer important.  There is a balance in walking in HIS provision.  You should only have what you can truly Love and no more.  How many of us have things that once obtained are no longer of value to us?  The ego has an extreme thirst for “things”, acknowledgment, and position usually at the expense of others.

5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.

I can assure you that if you walk in wisdom, it will serve you well in achieving the balance of having all your needs met.  Your decisions will dramatically improve and your resources will become more effective in their purpose.  You will walk without anything weighing you down and you will take no thought for tomorrow but embrace what is in front of you today.  You will let the past go and no longer dwell on those past mistakes and apparent failures that were actually meant to mature you rather than oppress you.

6 But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind.

We need to simply accept FATHER’S Word.  That seems simple but men would try to complicated HIS Word and change its intent by adding or subtracting to it.  If FATHER says HE will give you wisdom then simply expect it as a child who is quick to believe without hesitation.  Quit complicating the simple Truth.  We must expect FATHER to perform HIS Word in our lives and stop making excuses.  We must repent of our past unbelief and move on.  FATHER does not dangle a carrot in front of us, keeping it just beyond our grasp.  We must settle it once and for all in our minds that FATHER is our Provider in all areas without exception.  We must doubt not!  James warns us if we don’t:

7 For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord;

8 he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.

HE is our rock, unmovable, and we are to become like HIM in the same manner.  As we do we become stable, others will see our stability in times of trials and will be drawn to the light we project.  My goal for those who read this blog is that we all come into the fullness of the perfection FATHER has promised.  If we do, then the collapsing world around us will not impact us but we will instead impact it.

In order to reach perfection we must fully embrace the revelation of Love in our lives.  In Matthew chapter 5, Jesus spoke:

43 “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’

44 But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you,

45 that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.

46 For if you love those who love you, what reward have you? Do not even the tax collectors do the same?

47 And if you greet your brethren only, what do you do more than others? Do not even the tax collectors do so?”

Most of us have focused our Love for THE FATHER, SON, and HOLY SPIRIT however Jesus made it clear that we must move to the horizontal plane and also focus our Love for mankind.  This is a sign of maturity moving toward perfection.  We must Love our enemies and as we do we will become perfect and complete.  Our opinion about our enemy will cease and FATHER’S Spirit will guide our speech toward life.  If words of judgment are to be spoken it will be by THE SPIRIT rather than by our flesh.  As we overcome the challenge of Loving our enemies or anyone we might be at odds with, Jesus discloses our reward:

48 Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.

Embrace this Truth: “as HE is so are we”.

Reigning in Life

June 15th, 2016

By THE SPIRIT Paul wrote in Romans chapter 5:

17 For if by the one man’s offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.

The word grace is first used in Genesis 6:8 “But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.” and it denotes acceptance and favor.  Grace denotes deliverance from enemies, affliction, or adversity as well as enablement, daily guidance, forgiveness, and preservation. Many Bible teachers have defined grace in the New Testament as GOD’S unmerited favor.

An abundance of grace suggests more than just a sufficiency of grace.  The word abundance exceeds minimum requirement so this abundance of grace is necessary to reign.  I would suggest that we must employ Divine unconditional Love as the motivation of grace and the recipient is able to walk in it in order to reign in life.

To reign means:

  1. to be king, to exercise kingly power, to reign

    1. of the governor of a province

    2. of the rule of the Messiah

    3. of the reign of Christians in the millennium

  2. metaph. to exercise the highest influence, to control

There is a tendency to express the power and authority promised to us in this verse by restricting it to one realm such as the Spiritual realm but I would submit that Jesus operated and reigned in the physical as well.  He was not restricted in resources nor did anyone place Him in bonds or restrictions.  His body was glorified as necessary as well as invisible when the need arose.  He knew the intent of men’s hearts and dealt with them accordingly.  He cured sickness and disease as well as He set the captives free.

Peter experienced this abundance of grace when he was placed in prison as recorded in Acts chapter 12:

5 Peter was therefore kept in prison, but constant prayer was offered to God for him by the church.

6 And when Herod was about to bring him out, that night Peter was sleeping, bound with two chains between two soldiers; and the guards before the door were keeping the prison.

7 Now behold, an angel of the Lord stood by him, and a light shone in the prison; and he struck Peter on the side and raised him up, saying, “Arise quickly!” And his chains fell off his hands.

8 Then the angel said to him, “Gird yourself and tie on your sandals”; and so he did. And he said to him, “Put on your garment and follow me.”

9 So he went out and followed him, and did not know that what was done by the angel was real, but thought he was seeing a vision.

10 When they were past the first and the second guard posts, they came to the iron gate that leads to the city, which opened to them of its own accord; and they went out and went down one street, and immediately the angel departed from him.

11 And when Peter had come to himself, he said, “Now I know for certain that the Lord has sent His angel, and has delivered me from the hand of Herod and from all the expectation of the Jewish people.”

As we continue to press in and fully align ourselves with FATHER and HIS Divine Intent of Love, we will reign with HIM in all circumstances.  We will walk in an abundance of grace without limitation or restriction.  Restrictions are only placed on those who have yet to mature to the fullness of Christ and this is done for their protection.  Until one is fully matured, he or she is incapable of handling the unrestricted power and authority granted by Our Heavenly Father.  However, we must understand that the goal of full maturity is definitely in our grasp and should be our expectation as we walk this narrow path for FATHER would not express this promise otherwise.

HE is the One Who sets our expectation thus we know HIS Intent.  If we know HIS Intent then we know our goal.  Expect to reign in life.

Assurance In Our Boldness

June 14th, 2016

In Proverbs chapter 28 we are told the righteous are bold as a lion.  Why?  Because FATHER equips us as we seek HIM thus we will understand all.  We keep HIS Law of Love as mature, discerning Sons and Daughters.  There are currently lawless ones who increases their riches by exploiting the poor but ultimately they are gathering up the wealth for those who will distribute to those in need.  The Righteous Ones will promote the flow of exchange and the economy will flourish.  Unlike the lawless who hoard their temporary wealth, those discerning Sons and Daughters will flourish and leave an inheritance:

Proverbs 13:22 A good man leaves an inheritance to his children’s children,
But the wealth of the sinner is stored up for the righteous.

When the lawless pray, they wonder why their prayer is not answered.  It is because the prayer of the lawless in an abomination to FATHER.  James wrote in his epistle in chapter 4:

2 You lust and do not have. You murder and covet and cannot obtain. You fight and war. Yet you do not have because you do not ask. 3 You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures. 4 Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God. 5 Or do you think that the Scripture says in vain, “The Spirit who dwells in us yearns jealously”?

6 But He gives more grace. Therefore He says:

“God resists the proud,

But gives grace to the humble.

There are those who would attempt to cause you to go astray.  You must distance yourself from them and not allow them to influence your walk as you are maturing in Christ.  FATHER is fully aware of those who attempt to exploit your gifts and will remove them from your midst if they persist in their efforts.  They will be judged according to their intent but as we walk according to FATHER’S Intent we will be blameless and inherit good.

There is a saying- He is a legend in his own mind.  Those who are currently rich believe they need no further understanding but if anything, they need greater understanding to handle the greater responsibility of stewardship.  Otherwise, their wealth will develop wings at some point.  The righteous look at wealth in the same manner as FATHER… as a commodity, a basic manner of interchange among parties which promotes trade and flow thus sustaining life.  When the flow is broken, death and destruction begin to set in.  As those who walk in Love come into full maturity, they will see wealth as a means to promote life in others who are in lack.  As the disciples walked being full of the Holy Ghost, people responded to this flow.  In Acts chapter 4 we find:

32  Now the multitude of those who believed were of one heart and one soul; neither did anyone say that any of the things he possessed was his own, but they had all things in common.

As we embrace these Truths, our boldness will increase and our days will be prolonged.  Our faithfulness will be rewarded with blessings in all areas of our lives and we will walk without any lack in any aspect.  Our gifts will be fully operational as we are sensitive to FATHER’S directives.  We will navigate through any attempts to prevent us from walking out our calling.  Jesus, our Example, is the full expression of FATHER’S manifested Son.  Even though men conspired to remove Him from the midst of the people, FATHER would not allow His mission to be thwarted.  Neither will ours.

We must not grow faint or weary in our walk as the world around us continues to collapse.  Man’s structures are destined to fall as they are being judged by FATHER.  FATHER told the children of Israel in Exodus chapter 12:

23  “For the LORD will pass through to strike the Egyptians; and when He sees the blood on the lintel and on the two doorposts, the LORD will pass over the door and not allow the destroyer to come into your houses to strike you.”

All indications point to the destruction of the economic paradigm we current live in and it appears to be an epic event.  Those in power are clueless to the solution to the world’s demise.  FATHER is empowering HIS Sons and Daughters who are reaching full maturity with the answers men and women will be searching out.  We must walk in all assurance and boldness when the fullness of judgment arrives.  The wicked (tares) will perish and the righteous will increase.

Are We Reliable Yet?

June 13th, 2016

By THE SPIRIT, David wrote in Psalm 25:

14  The secret of the LORD is with those who fear Him,
And He will show them His covenant.

The “secret” is HIS intimate, Divine counsel and instruction.  HE directs those who reverence and obey HIS Word.  In Deuteronomy chapter 13 FATHER gave a specific directive:

4 You shall walk after the LORD your God and fear Him, and keep His commandments and obey His voice; you shall serve Him and hold fast to Him.

We should purpose to walk each day obeying HIS Voice and we do that by hearing and responding accordingly.  HE will guide you into a purity in all your actions and those actions will be uncompromising according to HIS Divine character of Love.  You will simply do the right thing no matter how small or inconvenient.  FATHER is looking for those who will obey HIS every command and embrace the SPIRIT behind the command.  In Deuteronomy 13 FATHER begins the chapter describing a test:

1 “If there arises among you a prophet or a dreamer of dreams, and he gives you a sign or a wonder,

2 and the sign or the wonder comes to pass, of which he spoke to you, saying, ‘Let us go after other gods’—which you have not known—‘and let us serve them,’

3 you shall not listen to the words of that prophet or that dreamer of dreams, for the LORD your God is testing you to know whether you love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul.”

Notice that signs and wonders can mislead you.  This is why I am constantly emphasizing the importance of hearing FATHER in all matters.  If this were not an issue, FATHER would not be warning us about it.  I got caught up in paying to much attention to signs in the 1990’s and went through a severe correction because of the diversion.  FATHER poses a question to us- Do we Love HIM with all our heart and all our soul?  When we obey HIS commands with joy and purity, we can truly answer “Yes”.

In Luke chapter 12, Jesus spoke:

35 “Let your waist be girded and your lamps burning;

36 and you yourselves be like men who wait for their master, when he will return from the wedding, that when he comes and knocks they may open to him immediately.

37 Blessed are those servants whom the master, when he comes, will find watching. Assuredly, I say to you that he will gird himself and have them sit down to eat, and will come and serve them.

38 And if he should come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, and find them so, blessed are those servants.

39 But know this, that if the master of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into.

40 Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.”

We need to walk in consistent obedience so that we are "dressed in readiness, and are keeping our lamps lit”.  We need to be ready to do the right thing in all instances no matter what it takes.  We must remove the compromise out of our thoughts and actions for we have the choice to do so.  When a contrary thought comes to me, I simply say “I don’t want to think about it” and cast it down.  I am unwilling to dwell on any thought which would move me away from FATHER’S directives.  Paul wrote of this response in 2 Corinthians chapter 10:

5 casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.

Has someone wronged you?  Get over it immediately so that you are not hindered in your walk.  FATHER will take care of the other party in HIS Divine Love and correction.  As the above passage in Deuteronomy states, we will be tested to see where our level of obedience to HIM stands.  As we mature in our walk of hearing and responding to HIS Word, we will be given greater responsibility in the Kingdom.

In Matthew 25 Jesus shared the parable of the talents where there were three servants given directives by the Master.  At the conclusion of this parable, Jesus spoke:

29 ‘For to everyone who has, more will be given, and he will have abundance; but from him who does not have, even what he has will be taken away. 30 And cast the unprofitable servant into the outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’

Daily circumstances test each of us to reveal where we are at in our walk.  Let us listen and obey HIS Voice in all matters so that we will be known as good and faithful servants.  As we become consistent in our walk we will be given more responsibility in HIS Kingdom and our lights will shine brighter.  HE will see us as reliable Sons and Daughters.

Building Up Strength

June 12th, 2016

In Proverbs 24, Wisdom speaks:

10 If you faint in the day of adversity, Your strength is small.

Why does FATHER have me write these blogs on a daily basis?  They are meant to build us up and strengthen us in the coming days of adversity.  I can attest to you that FATHER is speaking to those who seek HIM and is willing to become a greater part of each person’s daily walk.  If you are having difficulty hearing HIS Voice do not be discouraged but continue pressing in for once you overcome whatever hindrance is keeping you from the clarity of HIS Voice, you will be glad you did.  Each of us has the choice to increase our strength in our known areas of weakness.

Wisdom also spoke in the same chapter:

3 Through wisdom a house is built,

And by understanding it is established;

4 By knowledge the rooms are filled

With all precious and pleasant riches.

The house is “us”.  We all need wisdom, understanding, knowledge which will ultimately result is skill as we exercise those attributes.  Strength requires consistent exercise and nutrition and we must feed our spirits on a daily basis to maintain our spirits.  As you probably realize, I begin the day with an undivided focus on Spiritual matters.  This provides me with a notable advantage over the adversities I deal with throughout the day.

The word adversity means: distress, trouble, narrow, tight, straits, distress ,adversary, foe, enemy, oppressor, hard pebble, flint.  It is anything that would challenge you in a negative sense.  We are to be lights unto the world that is growing in darkness thus we must expect greater adversity as this darkness culminates before our very eyes.

By THE SPIRIT, Jude warned us:

16 These are grumblers, complainers, walking according to their own lusts; and they mouth great swelling words, flattering people to gain advantage.

17 But you, beloved, remember the words which were spoken before by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ:

18 how they told you that there would be mockers in the last time who would walk according to their own ungodly lusts.

19 These are sensual persons, who cause divisions, not having the Spirit.

Jude then encouraged us:

20 But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit,

21 keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.

As we press in daily we are strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy; and we will give thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light.   HE will deliver us from the power of darkness for HE has conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.  We must not grow weary but instead continue in a daily manner to increase in Spiritual strength.  Those who continue on this path will be fully empowered and strengthened in the day of adversity.  Their strength will not be small.

The Deliverer

June 11th, 2016

Psalms 34 encourages us:

15 The eyes of the LORD are on the righteous,

And His ears are open to their cry.

16 The face of the LORD is against those who do evil,

To cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.

17 The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears,

And delivers them out of all their troubles.

18 The LORD is near to those who have a broken heart,

And saves such as have a contrite spirit.

19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous,

But the LORD delivers him out of them all.

Our Heavenly Father created the earth and all who inhabit it.  HE gave man the choice of which path to take: life or death.  Those who have chosen evil may have temporary, derivative power and authority but FATHER retains the right of original title over all of creation.  FATHER is fully aware not only the actions of men but all their intent.  HE knows our deepest thought processes and respects our desire to walk worthy of HIM.  HIS ears are open to our cry.

FATHER is in the deliverance business and I expect we will need that aspect of HIS Character soon.  David was delivered from the hand of King Saul and by THE SPIRIT he wrote in Psalm 18:

1 I will love You, O LORD, my strength.

2 The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer;

My God, my strength, in whom I will trust;

My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.

3 I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised;

So shall I be saved from my enemies.

There is a polarization occurring in the U.S. as well as other countries around the world.  Men are creating division in order to conquer the masses.  Governments are being toppled where there is no righteous unity.  Large corporations are funding nefarious activities without regard for the masses.  There will soon come a day of reckoning and the only question will be which group will people be associated- the wheat or the tares.  FATHER did not remove David from the earth but instead removed Saul from David.  When the death angel went through Egypt, the children of Israel were not removed but covered and protected by the Blood of the Lamb.  Judgment will come forth and those who are righteous will be supernaturally protected throughout the judgment process.  FATHER delivers HIS people by removing the affliction.

In Luke chapter 4 Jesus affirmed:

17 And He was handed the book of the prophet Isaiah. And when He had opened the book, He found the place where it was written:

18 “The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me,

Because He has anointed Me

To preach the gospel to the poor;

He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted,

To proclaim liberty to the captives

And recovery of sight to the blind,

To set at liberty those who are oppressed;

19 To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD.”

Our Deliverer has spoken and affirmed His power and authority over all who would oppress FATHER’S Sons and Daughters.  Let us stand firmly on HIS Word!

Living in Moderation

June 10th, 2016

In Matthew chapter 5, Jesus spoke:

1 And seeing the multitudes, He went up on a mountain, and when He was seated His disciples came to Him.

2 Then He opened His mouth and taught them, saying:

3 “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

4 Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.

5 Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.”

Jesus spoke about people being blessed resulting in: inheriting the Kingdom of Heaven, receiving comfort, and inheriting the earth.  The challenge in understanding these blessings comes from the use of the English words: poor, mourn, and meek.  These words do not really fit the context of what Jesus was proclaiming as blessings nor do the results tie to our current use of these three words.

I would suggest that if “poor in spirit” were to be translated as “simple and uncomplicated” we would embrace the intent of the blessing.  Jesus affirmed this when He spoke in Matthew chapter 18:

2 Then Jesus called a little child to Him, set him in the midst of them,

3 and said, “Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven.

4 Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

5 Whoever receives one little child like this in My name receives Me.

Jesus spoke again in Matthew 19:

14  But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven.”

If there is anyone who lives a simple and uncomplicated life, it is a child.  The child has not been tainted by the traditions of man and does not attempt to over analyze everything in life.  Most children are quick to accept the simplicity of an answer and do not attempt to complicate situations.  They are quick to forgive and have no lingering bitterness in their hearts.  They are the essence of “simple and uncomplicated”.

We generally attach a negative connotation to the word “mourning” in relation to loss.  Jesus was not being negative but instead was conveying a Truth in this blessing.  In this verse let us read it as “Blessed are those who purge and release, for they shall be comforted”.  We become attached to others as well as “things” and must be willing to let go when the time comes.  We must purge ourselves of any attachment which would prevent us from living in the “here and now”.  We must trust FATHER will take care of our loved ones as they release their physical bodies and HE embraces them in HIS Love.  We must release them so that we can move forward and continue in our individual callings.  We should not feel guilt or sadness if we truly believe they are in a better state with FATHER.

When we purge and release anything in the past, it allows us to move forward without looking back.  The purging process is a healing process and we must let our emotions heal after any loss.

In today’s usage of the word “meek” it simply does not fit the blessing of inheriting the earth.  However “living in moderation” provides us with the intent of the blessing.  In Psalms chapter 37 we find:

11  But the meek shall inherit the earth,
And shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.

The “meek” are contrasted from the wicked in this chapter.  The wicked men plot to destroy, go to war, borrow and not repay, whereas the steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD and delights in his way.  Those who live in moderation and walk by THE SPIRIT will be the inheritors of the earth.  They do not hoard neither do they live a life of greed.  Jesus never walked in scarcity nor did He seek reputation but simply lived in moderation.

Moderation allows the flow to remain in balance at all times, maintaining equilibrium and not moving to extremes.  We should never attempt to take on more than we can handle.  Some people can handle more than others, especially in the area of finances.  We must not let our soulish man dictate our needs and desires for they would move to the extreme.  Living in moderation brings forth an abundance of peace and blessing.

“Setting Your Hand”

June 9th, 2016

By THE SPIRIT it is written in Deuteronomy chapter 28:

8 “The LORD will command the blessing on you in your storehouses and in all to which you set your hand, and He will bless you in the land which the LORD your God is giving you.

9 “The LORD will establish you as a holy people to Himself, just as He has sworn to you, if you keep the commandments of the LORD your God and walk in His ways.”

A storehouse denotes abundance beyond satisfying the requirements of today.  Your storehouse represents the results of what you set your hand to do.  FATHER fully endorses and expects us to be active, productive, and prudent with the opportunities HE places before us.  Any diversion from HIS directive for your life only serves to delay this blessing.  Many never reach the point of being established in HIS blessings.

The purpose of HIM blessing us is to establish us as a Holy people to HIMSELF.  There are those who would encourage the flow of blessing and then take another path which ultimately lead toward destruction.  This occurs when they begin believing they were able to be successful independent of FATHER.  Others are successful in attaining resources because FATHER will need those resources at a future time to establish HIS Holy people.  They were simply stewards for a period of time.

Some people place such a focus on a future prophetic events that they end up doing nothing, expecting to be delivered at the time of the prophecy.  In the final analysis, they were simply unproductive for the Kingdom.  This is exactly why we must seek to be led by THE SPIRIT each and every day.  There are some projects we should take on and others we should pass on.  FATHER knows which ones fit into HIS purpose for our lives.

We must trust that FATHER will command the blessing on us.  HE has sufficient power and authority over all creation to assure HIS Word will come to pass.  There will be times when you are in the midst of work when your mind will question the outcome but you must simply work through any doubt as you walk out HIS instructions.  You should endeavor to be the best at what you are doing, not just meeting minimum requirements.  Your quality of work should reflect your mandate from Above.  FATHER only selected the best artisans for HIS tabernacle in the Wilderness.  There were no “slackers” involved in its construction.

By all earthly measures, the current system is quickly moving toward a major change.  I believe it is our responsibility to prepare ourselves for whatever outcome is ahead.  FATHER will prevail in any case but HE will use those who have been fully prepared and matured for such a time as is ahead of us.  Those who have established themselves as doers of HIS Word and not hearers only as James wrote in chapter 1:

22 But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.

23 For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror;

24 for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was.

25 But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does.

Are you being deceived?  A doer is blessed and one who does nothing lives in constant scarcity.  Scarcity is relative to your calling and scarcity to one person may look like abundance to another.  We have abundance if we have sufficiency in all things pertaining to our individual lives.  Set your hand to the purpose FATHER has called you and HE will command the blessing upon you.  Do nothing and you will receive a reward of nothing.

The Prosperous Soul

June 8th, 2016

The Beloved Disciple John wrote in 3 John:

2 Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.

Within this one verse, there is much power.  If anyone understood the Divine Intent of FATHER having spent 3 1/2 years with HIS Beloved Son, it would be John whom Jesus Loved.  John’s first priority is the prosperity of our soul or Spiritual health and Spiritual success.  In the “faith” movement, evangelists would focus on physical prosperity without first considering the Spiritual requirements.  People wanted the result without regard to the intent of the Spiritual Truth found in this verse.

The “cause” of success in all things including health is that your soul has become successful in Spiritual matters, not the opposite.  People are eager for a quick fix to their problems and many evangelists were willing to accommodate their eagerness by selling the concept of man’s view of FATHER’S Word.  Many who were fleeced will no longer consider the very Scriptures which contain the promises of FATHER to HIS children.

Jesus never walked in scarcity but had sufficiency in all things.  Prosperity is relative to your needs and calling.  I don’t need five cars to provide me transportation.  Prosperity in transportation is a good, reliable vehicle.  There is a simplicity in prosperity that suggests it is as important to not have too much as it is not to have too little.  There are men and women who have a “scarcity” mentality and hoard possessions as though FATHER will cut off the flow at some point.

In Luke chapter 6, Jesus spoke:

38 “Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.”

Jesus expects us to be successful which in turn allows us to give out of Love.  If you sow sparingly you will reap sparingly for you determine the measure by which you will receive benefit.  It is all about intent.  We should never pay too much for a good or service but more importantly we should never pay too little.  When you exploit the situation by paying too little, you are not Loving the other person and thus you restrict the measure of your return.  FATHER is interested in fairness in all matters of exchange.  When you muzzle the oxen, you minimize the output benefitting those who are being fed by the oxen’s output.

Is there an issue of scarcity in Heaven?  Not at all.  FATHER allows no scarcity in Heaven and it is HIS Divine Intent for Heaven and its qualities to come and be fully expressed on earth in all areas.  We must quit omitting aspects of Heaven which are not currently operating in our individual lives.  If I am living in lack in a particular area it is because I have yet to receive revelation in this aspect of HIS Divine Intent.  I am void of HIS Word thus I should focus and renew my mind to the revealing of the Truth and Intent about this area.

Jesus multiplied fish and bread when the need arose and provided the young man with twelve baskets of food to take home, notably more than what he came with.  Jesus is generous by nature and expresses FATHER’S generosity.  We must not limit FATHER by our past misconceptions based on men’s teaching and interpretations.  As we embrace the fullness of Love we will become generous to others.  When my grandkids have a need, I don’t look to barely fulfill it.  I truly want to exceed their expectation.  Is FATHER any different?

In Luke chapter 11 Jesus spoke:

9 “So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.

10 For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.

11 If a son asks for bread from any father among you, will he give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent instead of a fish?

12 Or if he asks for an egg, will he offer him a scorpion?

13 If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!”

FATHER is more than willing to give good gifts to HIS sons and daughters.  By giving the Holy Spirit FATHER has given us a means to daily guide our footsteps to success in all areas of our lives.  First the Spiritual, then the physical.  As our soul prospers by being led by THE SPIRIT, we will be successful in health and in all we set our hand to accomplish thus we will eliminate scarcity in our lives.  In turn we can be a blessing to others because now we have the ability to give.
