The Unchanging ONE

November 8th, 2016

In Exodus chapter 15 FATHER spoke:

26 and said, “If you diligently heed the voice of the LORD your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have permitted on the Egyptians. For I am the LORD who heals you.”

The solution to the healthcare issue around the world is found in the above verse… period!  As we have increased in worldly knowledge and understanding at the expense of Spiritual Wisdom, understanding, and knowledge, we have distanced ourselves from the healing power of FATHER.  In Malachi chapter 3 FATHER also spoke:

6 “For I am the LORD, I do not change;

Therefore you are not consumed, O sons of Jacob.”

FATHER is the Source of our healing thus why should we focus our attention elsewhere?  There is no variance IN HIM thus HE is the same today as HE was when HE spoke the above revelation to the children of Israel in the wilderness.  This Truth was emphasized by Jesus over and over.  In Matthew chapter 12:

9 Now when He had departed from there, He went into their synagogue.

10 And behold, there was a man who had a withered hand. And they asked Him, saying, “Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath?”—that they might accuse Him.

11 Then He said to them, “What man is there among you who has one sheep, and if it falls into a pit on the Sabbath, will not lay hold of it and lift it out?

12 Of how much more value then is a man than a sheep? Therefore it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath.”

13 Then He said to the man, “Stretch out your hand.” And he stretched it out, and it was restored as whole as the other.

14 Then the Pharisees went out and plotted against Him, how they might destroy Him.

15 But when Jesus knew it, He withdrew from there. And great multitudes followed Him, and He healed them all.

FATHER’S Word is likened to a seed.  Within the seed is the miracle-working power to produce the final result.  Consider the fact that it takes only one acorn to produce a large oak tree.  However the acorn must be planted in the earth and become one with the earth.  As it is watered life comes bursting forth out of the shell.  Oh what a miracle happening all around us.  As we are watered by HIS Word by dwelling on these Truths, the transforming power is released miraculously in our lives.

In Ephesians chapter 5, Paul spoke by THE SPIRIT:

26 that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word,

27 that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish.

Our blemishes are removed by HIS Word thus we are fully and completely healed.  In the above passage Jesus healed and restored the man with the withered hand.  After restoration, did the man’s hand have any blemishes?  I think not.  Let us no longer settle for spots and blemishes in our lives but let us move forward to the fully purity promised us.  A pure heart will produce a pure body.  It is as simple as that.  It only takes one acorn to produce a mighty tree thus we must look for that quality seed rather than just haphazardly grabbing a handful.  One appropriate Word from FATHER is all that is required for us to be healed.  Let us take that Word, dwell on it, stand on it and expect it to become fruitful in our lives for HE is the Unchanging ONE willing to heal us ALL!

Placing Limitations

November 7th, 2016

In Mark chapter 11, Jesus spoke:

22 So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God.

23 For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.

24 Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.”

I find that people place subtle restrictions on FATHER’S ability and willingness to perform HIS Word.  In fact, they look for reasons HIS Word will not work in their lives rather than look for reasons why The Word will work on their behalf.  Their mind and its logic controls the narrative rather than their heart.  Often what a man cannot understand is placed in the category of “the impossible” thus there are many promises from FATHER that remain dormant in the personal lives of most people.

Doubt and unbelief are the enemies of having faith in FATHER.  We must develop our spiritual eyes and ears more so than our intellect and logic.  Nothing is wrong with intense study but if we have overdeveloped minds and underdeveloped spirits then we will trust our minds more than our spiritual senses and that is when doubt and unbelief prevail.  Our minds by definition are restricted to what we have exposed them to through our own endeavors.  Our spirits have access to the realm without any such limitations where FATHER resides but this realm is well-protected from soulish, selfish exploitations.

In the above passage, Jesus focused on what is in our heart rather than our mind when He placed the condition “ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes”.  The focus must be on the condition of our heart.  The world would have us spend our formative years receiving an education and strengthening our mind without regard to strengthening our heart.  As a result we have young adults who have become self-centered in their thinking rather than self-sacrificing for the benefit of others.  Parents have allowed prayer to be removed from school and now we must deploy metal detectors and police to protect the children at school.  Once the Spiritual standard of the LORD’S Prayer was removed, children were left to their own immature devices and lawlessness grew in that environment.

Exercising our spiritual life should be as important as exercising our minds and bodies.  The above passage is based on the assumption that you are praying to FATHER and in constant communication.  Many people want to use the above passage only in times of emergencies and otherwise be left alone to pursue their worldly activities.  Jesus gave us an expressed promise but also gave us expressed requirements for success.  These requirements are not limited to those with high IQ’s.  Success is not based on unique characteristics only found among the privileged.  They are based on willingness to be led by THE SPIRIT rather than our limited mind.  We must purpose to strengthen our heart as much as we do other aspects of our lives.

If HIS Word isn’t working in our life, we must assume that we are the issue, not HIM.  If I am not producing fruit in a particular area it is because I am void of revelation in that area.  There is something amiss and I must change.  I believe our willingness to change determines our spiritual success and maturity.  I look back at doctrines I held in past decades only to find they were wrong and produced no fruit.  We must admit our past failures, bury them, then get on with life.  We must not let pride get in the way.  We must simply repent before FATHER and be grateful HE opened our eyes to the limitations we placed on HIM in the past.

Confessing HIS Word alone does not produce anything for we must believe HIS Word first.  We must approach FATHER without preconceived notions and come into HIS Presence with innocent perception as well as an expectation of receiving a fresh, appropriate Word for our lives today.  There are no insurmountable mountains which cannot be overcome by faith IN HIM.  We must not allow our minds to convince us otherwise.  Our mind would have us seek some subtle formula hidden in Scripture from the masses as though FATHER is hesitant to allow us to find success.  The Pharisees had full access to all Scripture yet they could not recognize the Messiah standing before them.  Go figure!

In Matthew chapter 20, Jesus spoke:

20 So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.

21 However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.”

The more time we spend with FATHER, the less limitations exist in our lives.  Dwell on this Truth today.  If need be, wipe the slate clean and start over.  Come to HIM with a pure heart and no agenda.  Let FATHER minster what is on HIS Heart which happens to be our wellbeing.  Our Loving FATHER only wants what is best for us so let our faith be strong IN HIM and HE will remove whatever mountains stand in our way.

Heart-Led Versus Logic-Led

November 6th, 2016

By THE SPIRIT Paul wrote in Philippians chapter 4:

17 Not that I seek the gift, but I seek the fruit that abounds to your account.

Man’s traditions are built upon logic apart from THE SPIRIT.  The mind is an excellent servant but a harsh taskmaster.  Logic requires two points of reference in order to determine an expectation whereas the heart is directly connected with FATHER and responds to the higher Wisdom from Above.  Generosity originates from the heart.

As we mature in Christ we come to the realization that relationship is what life is all about, not things.  The mind would have you believe that fulfillment is found through the accumulation of wealth and possessions because it thrives on scarcity and the never ending aspect of solving it.  The mind will convince you to hoard when FATHER is telling you to give and you must choose whom you will serve.

Our senses can only comprehend the 1% of the universe.  On the other hand, our spirit has access to the full 100% if only we will walk according to our heart.  If we will simply allow ourselves to move toward being heart-led, we will begin to comprehend the fullness of THE SPIRIT.

For example, Jesus went to the cross and fully overcame two curses, not just one.  In 1 Peter chapter 2, by THE SPIRIT Peter wrote:

24 who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed.

Not only was the curse of sin dealt with but also the curse of sickness.  Jesus spent as much time healing the multitudes as He did ministering salvation.  Our minds would have us accept much less than the fullness of the cross.  How can we quickly accept the forgiveness of sin yet have such difficulty receiving the deliverance from sickness?  Our five senses are constantly sending messages to our brains that sickness is simply a part of life thus the mind will logically convince us to disregard the second curse Jesus overcame at the cross.

Philippians 4:19 And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Which is easier, to overcome sin or sickness?  Is it easier for FATHER to forgive us of a life of sin and erase the past or heal our bodies which HE created?  Neither pose a problem for HIM yet we submit to the mind’s logic rather than FATHER’S Word.  If it was FATHER’S perfect Will for us to be sick why would Jesus heal so many?  Why are we settling for living a life of suffering? Let us no longer compromise our deliverance!

It is time to get back to the simplicity of the Gospel.  The mind would have us move toward complexity where it can prevail as that harsh taskmaster mentioned above.  The people Jesus healed did not have access to the volumes of data and information at our disposal yet Jesus healed them all.  Let us embrace the simplicity of being led by THE SPIRIT and focus on HIS Truth.  Let us simplify and seek to connect with out hearts and make a decision to put our minds in their rightful place as servants.  The heart can understand infinity where FATHER operates, our minds can’t.  Let our hearts be strengthened with the peace that surpasses all understanding.

As Paul wrote in Philippians by THE SPIRT in chapter 4:

6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;

7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Once we truly “hear” the Word, let us respond to it, believe it, and expect it to operate fully in our lives.  Our bodies must submit to HIS Word once our unbelief is removed and our minds are put in their designated place.  Let HIS SPIRIT prevail in our hearts as we guard both our hearts and our minds.  Let us accept the fullness of the work at the cross.

Temptation

November 4th, 2016

We are to stay far from the door of the temptress.  The further away from a magnet, the less it can draw you to it and that is the same for temptation.

Sin draws life out of us whereas Love promotes life.  The effects may not be immediate yet over the long run you can see a difference among people.  The only question is when that day of reconciliation occurs.  It is your choice which doors you seek to open.

What Is Life About?

November 3rd, 2016

Life is about relationships, not places or “things”.  Love has a source and an object.  You are either a source or the recipient.  This should be considered today as you encounter others.

For FATHER so Loved you and me HE sent HIS first begotten Son to manifest HIS Word of Love so that we could have eternal life.

The Idol Issue

November 2nd, 2016

An idol is an image or representation of a god used as an object of worship as well as a person or thing that is greatly admired, loved, or revered.  If a person, place, or thing overshadows your relationship with FATHER, it is an idol and must be cast down.

In Ezekiel chapter 14, FATHER spoke:

1 Now some of the elders of Israel came to me and sat before me.

2 And the word of the LORD came to me, saying,

3 “Son of man, these men have set up their idols in their hearts, and put before them that which causes them to stumble into iniquity. Should I let Myself be inquired of at all by them?

4 “Therefore speak to them, and say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord GOD: “Everyone of the house of Israel who sets up his idols in his heart, and puts before him what causes him to stumble into iniquity, and then comes to the prophet, I the LORD will answer him who comes, according to the multitude of his idols,

5 that I may seize the house of Israel by their heart, because they are all estranged from Me by their idols.” ’

If there is any passage that should be a warning to us, it is the above.  As part of our maturing process, FATHER will not force the Truth upon us but will allow us to experience error which in turn will produce some aspect of scarcity in our life.  No matter what your station in life is, you can have an idol.  Think not idols are only reserved for the rich and famous.

Look around you and see what you hold dear and are unwilling to part with.  What would happen if FATHER instructed you to part with that possession or relationship?  By THE SPIRIT Luke wrote in chapter 18:

18 Now a certain ruler asked Him, saying, “Good Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?”

19 So Jesus said to him, “Why do you call Me good? No one is good but One, that is, God.

20 You know the commandments: ‘Do not commit adultery,’ ‘Do not murder,’ ‘Do not steal,’ ‘Do not bear false witness,’ ‘Honor your father and your mother.’

21 And he said, “All these things I have kept from my youth.”

22 So when Jesus heard these things, He said to him, “You still lack one thing. Sell all that you have and distribute to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.”

23 But when he heard this, he became very sorrowful, for he was very rich.

Jesus exposed what was in the young man’s heart.  Even though he kept the commandments outwardly, there was a heart issue.  When things are going well, we can maintain a lifestyle and obey the Law but what happens when we might lose it all?  How would each of us react?  Each of us needs to assess our hearts and ask FATHER to bring any idols to the forefront of our consciousness.  Let no idol be found in the midst of the camp!

Cleansing the Inward

November 1st, 2016

In Psalm 51:

5 Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity,

And in sin my mother conceived me.

6 Behold, You desire truth in the inward parts,

And in the hidden part You will make me to know wisdom.

7 Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean;

Wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.

8 Make me hear joy and gladness,

That the bones You have broken may rejoice.

9 Hide Your face from my sins,

And blot out all my iniquities.

10 Create in me a clean heart, O God,

And renew a steadfast spirit within me.

11 Do not cast me away from Your presence,

And do not take Your Holy Spirit from me.

We can put on an outward appearance of purity but FATHER is focused on our inward parts, specifically our heart.  Out of our heart comes forth the intent by which our actions conform.  Men can modify their behavior for extended periods of time but in the end when the pressure comes, the outward will reflect the inward.  King David knew this when he committed adultery with Bathsheba and had her husband put to death.

We have all fallen short of HIS Glory in the past and thankfully FATHER is willing to purge us so that we become clean. white and without spot or wrinkle .  FATHER purges us from our past and behold we become whiter than snow.  Let us no longer settle for anything less than pure hearts.  Let us cast away any profane thoughts and give no place to the devil and his lies.  FATHER Loves us no matter how ugly our past is and HE has the desire and ability to restore us just as HE did with David.  In Exodus chapter 12:

22 And you shall take a bunch of hyssop, dip it in the blood that is in the basin, and strike the lintel and the two doorposts with the blood that is in the basin. And none of you shall go out of the door of his house until morning.

Hyssop was used for cleansing and purging just prior to the “cross over” in order to become a Hebrew.  Let us look in our mirror for anything needing to be purged and ask FATHER to remove the impurities from our midst.  When our inward parts are fully cleansed, our perfection is at hand.

Crossing Over

October 31st, 2016

The first use of the term “Hebrew” occurred in Genesis chapter chapter 14:

13 Then one who had escaped came and told Abram the Hebrew, for he dwelt by the terebinth trees of Mamre the Amorite, brother of Eshcol and brother of Aner; and they were allies with Abram.

14 Now when Abram heard that his brother was taken captive, he armed his three hundred and eighteen trained servants who were born in his own house, and went in pursuit as far as Dan.

The word Hebrew is derived from a root word meaning: to pass over, cross, cross over.  Abraham preceded the Passover of the children of Israel and had his own “passover”.  He too left the land of Egypt and went to Canaan to possess it per FATHER’S instructions in Genesis chapter 15:

1 After these things the word of the LORD came to Abram in a vision, saying, “Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your exceedingly great reward.”

and

6 And he believed in the LORD, and He accounted it to him for righteousness.

7 Then He said to him, “I am the LORD, who brought you out of Ur of the Chaldeans, to give you this land to inherit it.”

For us to receive our reward we too must cross over from death unto life and as we do then we become known as Hebrews.  There are various aspects of our life which need to be separated from our walk and thus we must leave the old man who resides in darkness and cross over to the new man in the light.  By THE SPIRIT Paul wrote in 2 Corinthians chapter 5:

16 Therefore, from now on, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him thus no longer.

17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

We must not look back at the “old” things and only focus on those things set before us.  FATHER draws us out of our own Egypt and we must cross over to the land HE has for us.  We must renew our minds and no longer consider the old land of the past as our inheritance but embrace the new land of Promise.  We must exercise our faith by trusting IN HIM as HE leads us to an area we have never experienced.  There is much anticipation and excitement concerning the times ahead for those who expect FATHER’S Love to be the guiding Light of our future.  There are those who wish to remain in outer darkness out of fear of the unknown.  Their old man plays a central role in their illusion and they are unwilling to leave their comfort zone even though there is much misery associated with it.

Abraham received a great inheritance because he fully trusted FATHER and HIS Word.  Let us respond in the same manner by crossing over ourselves.

The Future of Money

October 30th, 2016

Consider what money really is- a medium of exchange.  It really goes beyond that simple definition.  It is a store of value which will allow you to buy future goods and services as the need arises.  There are other assets which represent a store of value as well.  Land, houses, collectibles, and investments store value as long as there is demand to purchase them when you are ready to convert their value into money.  The problem is that we do not know the future valuation of assets and there is no guarantee that those assets will retain their current value.  An asset is only worth what the market is willing to pay on the day of the sale.

Trust in money is destined for failure.  Trust in FATHER is destined for success in life.  Where will you put your trust?  I have made that choice and have chosen to trust in FATHER for HE is the only One Who is not restricted by time and resources.  Yes, we all need to prepare for the future based on our current revelation but we must not hoard in response to fear of the unknown.

In Proverbs chapter 3, Wisdom spoke:

5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart,

And lean not on your own understanding;

6 In all your ways acknowledge Him,

And He shall direct your paths.

If FATHER instructs you concerning your finances, you can be assured that your path will be one of blessing.  FATHER is not opposed to us having funds as long as the funds don’t rule us.  Those of us who invest in the Kingdom will receive Heavenly returns on investment.  Those who invest according to the world’s wisdom are subject to the weakness/fragility associated with the world system.  In Matthew 6 Jesus spoke:

19 “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal;

20 but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal.

21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”

Money is a medium by which blessing can be transported from one individual to another.  Jesus promoted the Truth of going about doing business until He returns.  Let us be productive and produce good fruit on behalf of the Kingdom and look at money as simply a “commodity” for future distribution rather than something to hoard due to uncertainty of the future.  Let FATHER take care of the future by instructing us in HIS Wisdom today.
