The Spirit Of Counsel

July 25th, 2018

Isaiah wrote by THE SPIRIT in chapter 11:

1 There shall come forth a Rod from the stem of Jesse,

And a Branch shall grow out of his roots.

2 The Spirit of the LORD shall rest upon Him,

The Spirit of wisdom and understanding,

The Spirit of counsel and might,

The Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD.

The Hebrew word `etsah means: counsel, advice, purpose.  I learned a long time ago to seek counsel from those I deemed “experts” in their field.  I submit to the counsel of my CPA when he completes my tax return and I do not challenge his classifying and handling of the various transactions reported.  I submit to his anointing and purpose.  My expertise in economics, finance, and information technology was obtained specifically by FATHER’S directives.  FATHER directed me to every job I have had since 1972.  As it turns out, HIS Wisdom saved me heartache in looking back at those companies I left.  Little did I know that eventually they would either downsize and close local offices or sell to another entity.  In every case, I had a positive impact on the company or division because of FATHER’S anointing on me.  Clearly, I give FATHER the credit for those successes.  I have learned to give advice in the area of my anointing and direct the individual elsewhere when my anointing does not apply to their situation.

When we are anointed, our counsel is superior to those whose purpose and anointing are not applicable to the situation.  Do you ask an attorney for counsel concerning a tax question?  Do you ask an IT professional for advice about how to add an addition to your house?  Do you ask one who is called to be a teacher of Scripture advice concerning an International investment?

As we become mature as Sons and Daughters of GOD, we will know when to give advice and counsel according to our purpose and not allow the ego to advise others because of its desire to exalt itself in the other person’s eyes.  I have seen many instances in the past when people seek the advice of someone who is anointed in an area which is not applicable to the issue at hand.  How many of us have a file of bad investments or decisions from the past where we listened to someone who had no business advising us.  Their pride and arrogance rose up and convinced us to act on their unfounded assurance that the advice was sound.  Their advice turned out to be fruitless causing us to suffer loss.

The best counselor is The Holy Spirit.  FATHER’S Wisdom expressed by HIS SPIRIT spoke in Proverbs chapter 8:

12 “I, wisdom, dwell with prudence, And find out knowledge and discretion.

13 The fear of the LORD is to hate evil; Pride and arrogance and the evil way And the perverse mouth I hate.

14 Counsel is mine, and sound wisdom; I am understanding, I have strength.

Let us be fully sensitive to The Holy Spirit in all matters affecting our decisions.  As I look back, when I submitted to The Holy Spirit’s direction, I was successful.  Other times when I suffered loss, my ego was the source of the poor decision.  Let the Spirit of counsel rise up and be fully activated in us as we come into full maturity.  The fruit will attest to this reality.

Properly Setting Our Expectation

July 24th, 2018

The “spirit of might” is one of the seven spirits of God resting upon the sons of God.  Isaiah spoke by THE SPIRIT in Isaiah chapter 11:

1 “And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of His roots:

and the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord”

The seven spirits of God rested first upon Jesus, the Head of the many-membered body of Christ, and it is from Him that all the sons of God receive this anointing.  John wrote by THE SPIRIT in 1 John chapter 2:

27 But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him.

The Spirit of Might which belongs to the sons of God is the Spirit of Jesus, for He upon whom the sevenfold Spirit first rested is called THE MIGHTY GOD.  Isaiah revealed this Truth in chapter 9:

6 For unto us a Child is born,

Unto us a Son is given;

And the government will be upon His shoulder.

And His name will be called

Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God,

Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

It is only “in Him” that one can become mighty!  There is a glorious company of people, who along with Jesus the Mighty God, is termed “the Mighty.”  Asaph, the song and praise leader of Israel, prophesied of this company as he wrote in Psalm 82:

1 God standeth in the CONGREGATION OF THE MIGHTY; He judgeth among the gods.”

6  “I have said, YE ARE GODS; and all of you are THE CHILDREN OF THE MOST HIGH

This company of “the Mighty” in whose midst God stands is none else but those who are “in Christ” who is “the Mighty God” and are thus “strong in the Lord” and “in the power of HIS MIGHT.”  And the Word of the Lord through Asaph declared plainly that “the Mighty” are, every one of them, the sons of the most High, truly, the manifest sons of God.

To be included in the group known as the Remnant, we must shed the old man’s history for we are a new creation, old things past away.  We must embrace the anointing the has been at least partially dormant within us.  This anointing must become fully operational in us for us to walk in the spirit of might along with the other six characteristics of Christ’s anointing.  Those of us who are drawn to this fullness will not be denied and so let us set our gaze on walking in this fullness.  We care not about past failures and weaknesses for we will no longer be subject to the old man in any shape or form.  The spirit of might is one quality we should expect as we enter into the fullness of the anointing of Christ so don’t be surprised as this spiritual quality rises up and comes forth in our words and actions.

Corresponding Action Required

July 23rd, 2018

By THE SPIRIT, James wrote in chapter 2:

14  What is the benefit, my fellow believers, if someone claims to have faith but has no [good] works [as evidence]? Can that [kind of] faith save him? [No, a mere claim of faith is not sufficient—genuine faith produces good works.]

15   If a brother or sister is without [adequate] clothing and lacks [enough] food for each day,

16  and one of you says to them, “Go in peace [with my blessing], [keep] warm and feed yourselves,” but he does not give them the necessities for the body, what good does that do?

17  So too, faith, if it does not have works [to back it up], is by itself dead [inoperative and ineffective].

Consistent, corresponding action is required to walk in faith.  As we exercise consistent faith in the Word given to us by Our Heavenly Father, the manifestation of our expectation will occur.  FATHER is not obligated to respond to unbelief or self-centered requests but HE watches over HIS Word to perform it.  Self-centeredness often revolves around money since it can perpetuate self-gratification in its various forms.  FATHER is not opposed to giving you the desires of your heart (including finances) as long as those desires don’t promote corruption and draw you away from HIM.  It is up to each of us to know HIS Word in the area of our need so that we ask accordingly.

It is FATHER’S Will to heal us if we are sick.  Every person, rich or poor, is subject to sickness and disease so we should not disregard HIS Word in this area.  We should equip ourselves to pray for those who are sick when the situation presents itself.  If we are reluctant to pray, it is an indication of our lack of faith in HIS Word concerning HIS willingness to heal all.  We should not allow a person’s unbelief as a deterrent to our willingness to pray for we are to be a light unto the world.

Faith becomes ineffective if we do not have corresponding works to back it up.  We must not allow ourselves to become discouraged and give up while we wait for the manifestation of faith to occur.  We must have or develop the tenacity to continue in our unaltered expectation for the manifestation of our faith to occur.  We are to act according to the expected result and not be moved by any perceived delay.  FATHER always responds “just in time”.

When FATHER speaks to me, I fully trust HIS Word and take corresponding actions.  By faith, I expect HIM to speak to me because I fully believe HIS Word.  There are times when HE is silent concerning a situation but I am not moved by that silence.  I simply wait on HIM and quiet my soul until HE speaks.  If HE directs me to take action even though it defies my understanding and logic, I simply respond to HIS Word and know that HE will tell me the “why” later.

We must be careful when it comes to our relationships with others.  If they are consistently promoting unbelief and walking according to the ways of the world, they will negatively impact us as we are exercising our faith prior to physical manifestation.  When Noah was building the ark, the multitudes were constantly challenging his faith and were ridiculing him.  He did not embrace their blindness and as a result, he fulfilled his purpose.  Abraham gave glory to Our Heavenly Father in spite of the fact that both he and Sarah were old and beyond the normal child-bearing years.

In Acts chapter 5, the apostles were not moved by being in jail because they had faith that FATHER would deliver them so they could fulfill their commission to preach the Gospel:

19 But at night an angel of the Lord opened the prison doors and brought them out, and said,

20 “Go, stand in the temple and speak to the people all the words of this life [the eternal life revealed by Christ and found through faith in Him].”

21 And when they heard that, they entered the temple early in the morning and taught. But the high priest and those with him came and called the council together, with all the elders of the children of Israel, and sent to the prison to have them brought.

22 But when the officers came and did not find them in the prison, they returned and reported,

23 saying, “Indeed we found the prison shut securely, and the guards standing outside before the doors; but when we opened them, we found no one inside!”

24 Now when the high priest, the captain of the temple, and the chief priests heard these things, they wondered what the outcome would be.

25 So one came and told them, saying, “Look, the men whom you put in prison are standing in the temple and teaching the people!”

The apostles’ faith caused them to be unafraid of the high priest and elders.  They simply walked in faith expecting FATHER to deliver them from harm.  Their faith in what they heard, caused corresponding actions and they continued to preach in public without concern of being locked up again.  Be assured that they asked FATHER to free them from their bondage so that they could continue to walk according to their purpose.  HE sent HIS Word by HIS messenger as a result.  Shouldn’t we also expect FATHER to respond in the same manner on our behalf?

Boldness

July 22nd, 2018

In Hebrews chapter 4, it is written by THE SPIRIT to us for such a time as this:

14 Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession.

15 For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin.

16 Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

The Amplified Version expounds further on verse 16:

Therefore let us [with privilege] approach the throne of grace [that is, the throne of God’s gracious favor] with confidence and without fear, so that we may receive mercy [for our failures] and find [His amazing] grace to help in time of need [an appropriate blessing, coming just at the right moment].

We are encouraged to come with full confidence and without fear to FATHER’S Throne in time of need.  In order to do so, we must fully understand and comprehend the importance of Our High Priest, Jesus Christ, Who has provided us the means to approach FATHER’S Throne without reservation.  The Words of Jesus fully express His Character thus we should dwell and meditate on His Words and not allow them to become a distant memory in our consciousness.  Rereading the Gospels to simply appreciate Our High Priest’s Love and associated actions, keeps our appreciation for His Love and ministry fresh in our minds.  The Holy Spirit will reveal deeper mysteries as we simply listen to what the Gospels are showing us.  As we mature, further revelation and understanding is opened up to us for our benefit.

Let us understand FATHER’s Divine Intent and willingness for us to come unto HIM.  If we are sure that HE welcomes our boldness, then we will have no reluctance in approaching HIM.  When FATHER speaks, HE discloses HIS nature thus we are able to trust IN HIM when we hear and embrace HIS Word in the area of our need.  If HE expresses a promise or sets an expectation, we are to believe HIS Word above all else.  Men who have attempted to approach HIS Throne from a position of self-interest will try to convince us of other doctrines to support their failure.  They will interject unbelief and doubt in their speech and writings in order to justify their soulish ways.  We must reject their path and trust only the path Jesus, our Shepherd, is guiding us toward as we mature IN HIM.

In Jeremiah chapter 33, FATHER spoke:

2  “Thus says the Lord who made the earth, the Lord who formed it to establish it—the Lord is His name,

3  ‘Call to Me and I will answer you, and tell you [and even show you] great and mighty things, [things which have been confined and hidden], which you do not know and understand and cannot distinguish.’

FATHER wants us to call upon HIM with boldness for we are the ones who will bring forth HIS Kingdom on earth.  I believe that one of the greatest hindrances to our maturing process is to place our focus on future dates when prophecies are expected to be fulfilled at the expense of our internal maturing process.  Men will cease focusing on their current progress in hope that FATHER will simply and suddenly wipe away their immaturity on a particular day.  We are to live in the “now” and keep our lamps trimmed (Matthew 25:1-13).  We are to come boldly to the Throne of Grace in our time of need daily if necessary.  The maturing process requires us to change thus if we are to be counted among the remnant, we must embrace change and should expect the quality of boldness to rise up in us and become ingrained in us.  Jesus was bold because He understood His relationship with FATHER thus we too will take on that same characteristic as we come to full maturity.

Our Comforter And Advocate

July 21st, 2018

Jesus spoke in John chapter 14:

15 “If you love Me, keep My commandments.

16 And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Comforter, that He may abide with you forever

17 the Spirit of Truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.

18 I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.”

The Holy Spirit Who is our Comforter, Advocate, Intercessor, Counselor, and Strengthener, was destined to take the place of Christ with the us (after Jesus’ ascension to the Father), to lead us to a deeper knowledge of the gospel truth, and give us Divine strength needed to enable us to undergo trials and persecutions on behalf of the Divine Kingdom.  Had Jesus not gone on to take His place at the right hand of FATHER, we would be looking to Him in an external fashion for all our direction.  We would simply attend the next meeting to get needed revelation.  How much better is it to have The Holy Spirit residing on the inside of us and expressing to us FATHER’S Love and HIS pure and perfect Will.

Jesus was the “external” comforter to the disciples in that He expressed the Divine Intent of FATHER and strengthened the disciples with His physical presence.  He interceded for them as well as counseled them in the Kingdom principles.  Do you think The Holy Spirit will do any less?  Jesus further stated in John chapter 16:

7 “Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you.

8 And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:

9 of sin, because they do not believe in Me;

10 of righteousness, because I go to My Father and you see Me no more;

11 of judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged.”

12 “I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now.

13 However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.

14 He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you.

15 All things that the Father has are Mine. Therefore I said that He will take of Mine and declare it to you.”

I received the baptism of The Holy Spirit in the fall of 1971 with the evidence of speaking in other tongues.  This event changed my life and I attribute a greater sensitivity to hearing FATHER because of it.  The disciples received the same empowerment in Acts chapter 2 as Jesus instructed and revealed to them:

1 When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.

2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting.

3 Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them

4 And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

This prepared them to preach the Gospel and bring forth the Kingdom.  They now had a trusted inner witness to guide them into all Truth.  Before, they relied on their external senses to hear the Words of Jesus for their guidance as did all of those who preceded the Day of Pentecost.  Paul wrote by THE SPIRIT in 1 Corinthians chapter 14:

18 I thank my God I speak with tongues more than you all

All of the disciples were filled with The Holy Spirit as they went about preaching The Gospel.  Their epistles we study today are a result of them being guided into all Truth.  We don’t need the Urim and the Thummim of the Old Testament to receive an answer from FATHER if we have The Holy Spirit operating in our lives.  We don’t need signs to lead us and guide us as though The Holy Spirit is incapable of leading us in a more excellent manner.

We must trust the Words of Jesus spoken to each of us in the above passage.  He did not need any external assistance in His ministry or else the disciples would have instructed us in a similar manner.  External methods of seeking answers are soulish and will distance you from the pure Word given too you by The Holy Spirit.  We must learn to trust the directives of The Holy Spirit just as we trust the Words of Jesus.  If we do, we will stay on the correct path known as The Way and will be guided into all Truth allowing us to show others the true Kingdom.

Asking Amiss

July 20th, 2018

James wrote by THE SPIRIT in chapter 4 of his epistle:

3 You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures.

And Jesus spoke in John chapter 15:

7 If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.

8 By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples.

FATHER looks forward to blessing each of us in all that we do.  However, the key to receiving our requests from HIM is to ask according to HIS Will.  HE will not answer our prayer if it promotes “self” and does not glorify Our Heavenly Father.  It is HIS good pleasure to bless and prosper us in a manner consistent with HIS Word.  As we focus on HIS Word and not man’s soulish interpretation of HIS Word, we will be blessed and produce good fruit for the Kingdom.  We will enter into the flow of life coming forth from the Throne of Our Heavenly Father.

FATHER’S orientation is that of abundance, not scarcity.  When HE spoke to Abraham, HE affirmed this in Genesis chapter 17:

1 When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the LORD appeared to Abram and said to him, “I am Almighty God; walk before Me and be blameless. 2 And I will make My covenant between Me and you, and will multiply you exceedingly.”

And Paul wrote by THE SPIRIT in Ephesians chapter 3:

20 Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us

The issue in being blessed by FATHER lies with us, not HIM.  HE is forever willing to increase our provision as long as it serves the purpose for properly expanding the Kingdom both internally and externally.  HE has given us The Word to live by containing the roadmap to success.  HE is not opposed to us having abundance as long as it serves a righteous purpose and does not derail us from our maturing process.  We have been warned of those who would take advantage of us by their doctrines of half-truths and are told to beware.  HE calls us to be fruit inspectors as simply one way to determine if we are on track as well as those who claim to be HIS prophets and/or teachers.  FATHER’S Love is expressed in HIS Word and HE is more than willing to meet all our needs according to the riches in Christ Jesus.  The Amplified version of Ephesians chapter 3 points this out quite well:

16  May He grant you out of the riches of His glory, to be strengthened and spiritually energized with power through His Spirit in your inner self, [indwelling your innermost being and personality],

17  so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through your faith. And may you, having been [deeply] rooted and [securely] grounded in love,

18  be fully capable of comprehending with all the saints (God’s people) the width and length and height and depth of His love [fully experiencing that amazing, endless love];

19  and [that you may come] to know [practically, through personal experience] the love of Christ which far surpasses [mere] knowledge [without experience], that you may be filled up [throughout your being] to all the fullness of God [so that you may have the richest experience of God’s presence in your lives, completely filled and flooded with God Himself].

20  Now to Him who is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly more than all that we dare ask or think [infinitely beyond our greatest prayers, hopes, or dreams], according to His power that is at work within us

Reread these verses and contemplate the Truth and reality of the promises contained therein.  We must dig deep down and find what it is preventing us from walking in HIS fullness and ask The Holy Spirit to reveal any issue causing us to ask amiss.  The Word purifies us and if given the opportunity, It will cleanse us of all unrighteousness.  We must not allow ourselves to be taken off track by erroneous teachings of man and allow The Holy Spirit to intervene and remove our blindness of those false teachings.  Otherwise, we will continue to ask amiss.

The Ramification Of His Death On The Cross

July 19th, 2018

Isaiah wrote by THE SPIRIT in chapter 53 where Jesus fulfilled this prophecy at the end of His earthly ministry:

7 He was oppressed and He was afflicted, Yet He opened not His mouth; He was led as a lamb to the slaughter, And as a sheep before its shearers is silent, So He opened not His mouth.

8 He was taken from prison and from judgment, And who will declare His generation? For He was cut off from the land of the living; For the transgressions of My people He was stricken.

9 And they made His grave with the wicked— But with the rich at His death, Because He had done no violence, Nor was any deceit in His mouth.

10 Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise Him; He has put Him to grief. When You make His soul an offering for sin, He shall see His seed, He shall prolong His days, And the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in His hand.

11 He shall see the labor of His soul, and be satisfied. By His knowledge My righteous Servant shall justify many, For He shall bear their iniquities.

The death of Our Lord Jesus Christ had a greater impact on the world than any other death in the history of mankind.  His death was not just a simple passing but had great implications impacting all of mankind.  The Hebrew word for “death” in verse nine provides us with a greater understanding than the English translation.  First of all, it is plural, not singular thus the translation would be better translated as “deaths”.  Both the soul and body died allowing both the soul and the body to be resurrected and restored.  This is the two-fold aspect of Jesus dying on the cross.  He died for both our salvation and healing.  Further, I asked my friend Alan to expound on the Hebrew word wytmb translated as death in verse nine:

This exact spelling appears four times in the Old Testament.  But only in Isaiah 53:9 is it translated as referring to the death of someone.  In all the other verses using this exact spelling, the word is translated as referring to ‘high places’ that are esteemed by apostate man.  ‘Bamah’ refers to a ‘high place’, and it is not necessarily referring to a physical location as much as it is referring to “…thinking of yourself more highly than you should”.  A ‘high place’ also refers to ‘esteeming yourself more highly than you do others’, as well as referring to a ‘high place’ that an apostate would designate for the location of his ‘god’.  We all are familiar with what scripture says to us about the ‘high places’ of ‘gods that are no gods’.

Jesus’ death included what we call our ego and those things of the world which previously we highly esteemed.  As a result, there are other deaths included in Jesus’ act at the cross.  Upon further discussion, Alan added:

Paul wrote of ‘dying daily’.  I think he was telling us that there are many things that we will have to learn to die to in our Christ awareness.  Paul undoubtedly, at least in my mind, ‘died’ at the Cross of Crossing Over, and yet later found himself having many ideas and erroneous thoughts that he was having to ‘die to’ for enabling him to get past the bondage of his Judaism.  With those multiple deaths come multiple resurrections.  The ‘coming’ of Christ is, at least in my mind, a continuous and on-going coming forth; not only appearing to many different individuals, but also many appearances to us individually.  As Rudy Jones our friend used to say, “The Holy Spirit never stops moving”!  Isaiah 9:6-7 highlights that idea when he tells us “…of the increase of government (Christ Rule within us) and peace there will be no end!”  And as I remind myself that ‘Christ’ is the spirit of humility that equips me to bow my knee in willing submission to the callings of My Father, I am convinced anew of the many comings forth of Christ, and the resulting ‘deaths’ and ‘resurrections’ those comings forth accommodate.

In summary, Jesus’ death at the cross covered all aspects of our old man’s death so that in every aspect of our life, we are able to fully walk as a new creation.  FATHER left nothing out in HIS great grace and wisdom.  Paul wrote by THE SPIRIT in 2 Corinthians chapter 5:

17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

How grateful I am for FATHER’S Love expressed to me through HIS Son’s willingness to go to the cross on my behalf.

Being Diligent

July 18th, 2018

It is written by THE SPIRIT in Hebrews chapter 11:

5 By faith Enoch was taken away so that he did not see death, “and was not found, because God had taken him”; for before he was taken he had this testimony, that he pleased God.

6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

The word diligent means: constant in effort to accomplish something; attentive and persistent in doing anything.  Faith has its rewards and those who diligently seek FATHER will be rewarded (a thing given in recognition of one’s service, effort, or achievement).  Our reward is multi-faceted and FATHER rewards us based on our individual needs and desires for HE is not reluctant to disperse resources on our behalf.  David wrote by THE SPIRIT in chapter 37:

3 Trust in the LORD, and do good;

Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness.

4 Delight yourself also in the LORD,

And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

HIS Love for each of us wants to express Itself in many ways.  Meeting our needs and fulfilling our desires are just two ways FATHER wants to bless us.  Most of all, HE desires fellowship with each of us.  Our greatest reward is fellowship with HIM and as we enter into fellowship, our hearts become pure and our motives and desires bring forth life.  Those pure desires will be satisfied by Our Heavenly Father WHO knows that the reward will not draw us away from HIM.  FATHER wants us to experience blessings and beauty as we walk with HIM in the cool of the day.

The immature want the blessings without being diligent.  They want the reward without any true commitment.  This is an indication of the state of their heart and FATHER will not perpetuate immaturity and allow the desire for the world’s “things” to draw them further away from HIM.  When my son was sixteen, do you think I would buy him a sports car such as a Ferrari?  Would a gift of a sports car improve our fellowship and promote his maturity?

Over the years, FATHER has given my wife and I many of the desires of our hearts.  We did not constantly petition HIM to meet those desires as young children nagging their parents to give in to their wants.  We simply desired to be close and commune with HIM and then unexpectedly, HE would fulfill those unrequested desires out of HIS Love for us.  What a delight it is when FATHER fulfills those desires!  HE enjoys seeing HIS Sons and Daughters experience the fulfillment of their desires.  The fulfillment of those desires is a byproduct of being diligent, not the goal.

It pleases FATHER for us to become mature Sons and Daughters by allowing HIS Word to purify our hearts so that we can effectively express HIS Life to the world as Jesus did when He walked the earth.  Jesus spoke in Matthew chapter 5:

8 Blessed are the pure in heart, For they shall see God.

9 Blessed are the peacemakers, For they shall be called sons of God.

10 Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, For theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

When we become constant, attentive, and persistent in seeking FATHER, we will be blessed in all that we set our hand to and will produce good fruit on behalf of the Kingdom.  The riches of the Kingdom are far superior than anything obtained in the world thus we as mature Sons and Daughters purpose to express our Love for mankind similar to that of FATHER.  It is our heart’s desire to see every person be restored to FATHER and enjoy the fruits of fellowship with HIM.  What a wonderful reward to share!

Pursuing The Fullness Of Christ

July 17th, 2018

Paul wrote by THE SPIRIT in 2 Corinthians chapter 5:

18 Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation,

19 that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation.

20 Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God.

21 For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

He made Christ who knew no sin to [judicially] be sin on our behalf, so that in Him we would become the righteousness of God [that is, we would be made acceptable to Him and placed in a right relationship with Him by His gracious lovingkindness]. AMPL

Jesus gave us the legal right to be fully restored and acceptable to Our Heavenly Father.  We were additionally given the right and the privilege to the power and authority of Jesus to minister restoration and healing to all the world.  Do we dare take FATHER at His Word and pursue the fullness of Christ in our lives?  I submit to you that those known as the remnant are willing to pursue the fullness of Christ and rise up to become fully mature Sons and Daughters.

In order to understand our rights and right standing in Christ, we must be willing to approach The Word without the bias of past teachings by man.  Various ministries have taken revelation given to them by FATHER and wrapped It in their own interpretation and bias as though FATHER needed help in interpreting what HE said to us.  Men have built entire religions on one or two verses in Scripture rather than seeking out FATHER’S Divine Intent of what those verses were to reveal.  Their partial blindness has led many to stray from the Truth.

When we pursue the revelation of Agape Love, we begin to know the ways of FATHER and HIS Divine Intent of what HIS SPIRIT is showing us in HIS Word.  HIS Love then guides us and reveals the revelation of each passage in Scripture.  Love is the key to understanding The Word.  As we pursue Love, our nature responds and changes.  The cares of the world begin to dissipate.  The deceitfulness of riches are exposed.  when tribulation or persecution arises, we are no longer affected and moved by what is thrown at us.  Our peace prevails in the chaos.

Jesus spoke in Matthew chapter 13:

18 “Therefore hear the parable of the sower:

19 When anyone hears the word of the kingdom, and does not understand it, then the wicked one comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart. This is he who received seed by the wayside.

20 But he who received the seed on stony places, this is he who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy;

21 yet he has no root in himself, but endures only for a while. For when tribulation or persecution arises because of the word, immediately he stumbles.

22 Now he who received seed among the thorns is he who hears the word, and the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and he becomes unfruitful.

23 But he who received seed on the good ground is he who hears the word and understands it, who indeed bears fruit and produces: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.”

As we study The Word knowing FATHER’S Divine Intent of Love, we can understand it with great clarity.  We will not be moved by the hindrances Jesus mentioned in the above passage and we will become fruitful in all we set our hand to  do according to FATHER’S directives.  Love, peace, and joy will prevail thus we will see tangible results in our walk as we pursue the fullness of Christ.

Truly Hearing

July 16th, 2018

Jesus spoke in John chapter 6:

63 It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.

The Words of Jesus and His manifested acts are the basis of our salvation and our life.  Any issues we may confront throughout our life can ultimately be resolved by hearing The Word.
