The Four Types Of Hearts

May 13th, 2019

There are four types of hearts as explained by Jesus when He explained the parable of the sower in Mark chapter 4:

13 And He said to them, “Do you not understand this parable? How then will you understand all the parables?

14 The sower sows the word.

15 And these are the ones by the wayside where the word is sown. When they hear, Satan comes immediately and takes away the word that was sown in their hearts. 16 These likewise are the ones sown on stony ground who, when they hear the word, immediately receive it with gladness;

17 and they have no root in themselves, and so endure only for a time. Afterward, when tribulation or persecution arises for the word’s sake, immediately they stumble.

18 Now these are the ones sown among thorns; they are the ones who hear the word,

19 and the cares of this world, the deceitfulness of riches, and the desires for other things entering in choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful.

20 But these are the ones sown on good ground, those who hear the word, accept it, and bear fruit: some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some a hundred.”

It is critical to embrace this explanation for Jesus said to understand all the parables, you must understand this parable.  The issue is not the seed or The Word.  FATHER’S Divine Intent will express itself in It’s fullness if allowed to when entering a man’s heart.  The issue is “us”!

Some will have a wayside heart which has been trodden down and the soil is packed thus not allow the seed to pierce the soil (the heart).  They resist the Word and want to protect their status quo which at best is temporary in nature.

The second group has hearts of stony ground.  This group is reluctant to be associated with Jesus Christ and His teachings.  They are more comfortable conforming to the world’s idols and views thus they have allowed their idols of stone to take up space in their hearts.  The Word has little or no space to form a root system and cannot endure.

The third group allows the Word to be sown but succumbs to cares, lusts, and deceitfulness of riches.  These three areas of self-interest choke out the fruitfulness of the Word and cause the group to become hearers only.

The fourth and final group is made up of the ones who have protected their hearts from the world and have matured in the understanding and importance of maintaining a pure heart.  They are no longer moved by what the world thinks but are trusting FATHER because they have received the revelation of HIS Agape Love for them.  They have come to realize that the riches in Heaven are the only enduring riches thus they have no problem in being cheerful givers of their resources.

The Word of GOD is the seed and if we are in need of healing, we must plant the Word that addresses healing.  If we are in need of finances, we must plant the appropriate Word addressing finances.  Each seed produces after its own kind.  Our faith in a particular area depends on which seed we plant into our hearts.  The most important seed is Agape Love and if you plant and water that seed, you will ultimately produce a well-balanced garden.  It will produce the greatest harvest because it makes the ground more fertile than any other crop.

There are many who hear The Word but produce little or no fruit.  They are found in the first three categories and end up relying on others and “eat” of their fruit.  Their priorities are focused elsewhere, usually on the temporal things of this world.  I can say from personal experience that it takes commitment to be in this fourth group.  One must establish The Word as his or her highest priority.  Jesus has given us the key to being fruitful but it requires sustained commitment on our part.  Faith comes by hearing The Word and without faith it is impossible to please FATHER.

You may now appreciate why it is important for me to write with the frequency I do for I am planting The Word in me as I write to you.

The Word Working In Us

May 12th, 2019

The Beloved Disciple wrote in John chapter 1:

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

2 He was in the beginning with God.

3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.

4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.

And:

14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.

Jesus is The Word made flesh and every Word He spoke provides us the Way, the Truth, and Life.  As we read, dwell, and meditate on His Words which establish a definite expectation, we will become like Him and also be lights in the darkness.  In chapter 14 Jesus spoke:

6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”

The Sons and Daughters desire to become mature and walk in the same manner as Our Lord Jesus Christ for Jesus Himself said:

12 “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.”

This stage of greater works is only accomplished by the continual planting of The Word in our hearts as It relates to the walk Jesus promoted and revealed to us through in the Gospels and Epistles.  In order for us to be as He is, we must place our focus on His Words and acts.  The disciples were eye witnesses and given the power and direction through The Holy Spirit to expound on The Word given to them when they wrote the Epistles.

23 Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him.”

Agape Love is the key to keeping His Word in our hearts and Jesus promised that He and FATHER would Love us and make THEIR abode in us.  What a great promise!

As we continually plant The Word in our hearts then we will produce much good fruit of Love, faith, and hope.  Let The Word prevail in us so that our light grows bright for His promise is sure and will come to pass.

Jesus’ Sayings

May 10th, 2019

Peter wrote by THE SPIRIT in 2 Peter chapter 1:

2 Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord,

3 as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue,

4 by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

We are partakers of the Divine Nature because we have been given The Word which acts as seed when planted into our hearts. That seed is incorruptible and produces incorruption as it is planted in good ground and protected from being removed. Seedtime and harvest takes time to produce fruit from the seed and thus we need to be patient for the expression of Divine Nature to take place in our lives.

A seed produces fruit after its own kind. If you focus only on healing Scriptures, you will not produce fruit unassociated with healing.  If you focus on prosperity Scriptures, healing fruit will not come forth.  We are meant to lead a balanced life by focusing on all of The Word applicable to our lives today.  Some people focus on prophecy but then get sick and die without ever seeing prophecy fulfilled.  They are predisposed on the future at the expense of their daily lives.

Anointing is fruitfulness of The Word in the area we attend to.  Jesus spoke in Luke chapter 6:

40 A disciple is not above his teacher, but everyone who is perfectly trained will be like his teacher.

And:

47Whoever comes to Me, and hears My sayings and does them, I will show you whom he is like:

48 He is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid the foundation on the rock. And when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently against that house, and could not shake it, for it was founded on the rock.

49 But he who heard and did nothing is like a man who built a house on the earth without a foundation, against which the stream beat vehemently; and immediately it fell. And the ruin of that house was great.”

Notice that we are to focus on the sayings of Jesus, not those of anyone else.  When trials and tribulations come, the Truth found in Jesus’ Words is what will sustain us, not the Law nor future prophecies.  If we fail to get the Word planted in us to the point where It begins producing fruit, we will be at peace when the challenges of life come knocking at our door.

He who hears but does nothing is subject to the storms of life and will suffer greatly.  Christians can hear the Word but if they don’t heed the Word and change, they will not receive the benefits Jesus referred to in His teachings. Abundance and health are two such areas that Jesus emphasized throughout the Gospels.  Both are available to those who walk in Love and forgiveness.  We have been given the right to life and its abundance as we not only hear but do the sayings of Jesus.  His Words need to be the foundation of our walk.

Be Fruitful

May 9th, 2019

The Beloved Disciple wrote by THE SPIRIT in 1 John chapter 2:

27 But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him.

We have the full potential to operate in the same power and authority as Our Elder Brother Jesus already residing on the inside of us thus we need not plead with FATHER to give us something we already have. In 1 John chapter 4:

17 Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world.

The full potential to walk out our calling is not waiting on FATHER but awaits our commitment to walk accordingly.  When we plant seed, our “earth” brings forth the fruit and multiplies the fruitfulness thus we need to continually plant seed to bring forth the bountiful harvest from our potential.  The seed is The Word.

Jesus spoke in Mark chapter 4:

26 And He said, “The kingdom of God is as if a man should scatter seed on the ground,

27 and should sleep by night and rise by day, and the seed should sprout and grow,he himself does not know how.

28 For the earth yields crops by itself: first the blade, then the head, after that the full grain in the head.

29 But when the grain ripens, immediately he puts in the sickle, because the harvest has come.”

Do you need to know how a seed works in order to receive a harvest?  There are some who think they must figure out “how” and “when” thus they look for a mystery that is not necessary for the harvest to come forth.  Why can’t we simply trust FATHER and walk in faith that HIS Word works?

It takes time for the seed to produce a harvest yet in this day and time, people don’t want to allow time for the Word to work in their life.  Let patience have its perfect work.  We must allow “night and day” to pass and walk in faith that eventually the seed will produce in our “earth”.  Once the fruit comes, it is immediately ready to harvest.

Jesus spoke in John chapter 15:

1 “I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser.

2 Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit.

3 You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you.

4 Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.

5 “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.

6 If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned.

7 If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.

8 By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples.

Jesus is The Word and as we focus on and abide in His Word we will begin to bear much fruit.  Yes, it takes time to produce a harvest but that is what faith is all about.

Rock-Solid

May 8th, 2019

The cornerstone is the first stone set in the construction of a masonry foundation, important since all other stones will be set in reference to this stone, thus determining the position of the entire structure.

FATHER spoke to Job in chapter 38:

1 Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said:

2 “Who is this who darkens counsel

By words without knowledge?

3 Now prepare yourself like a man;

I will question you, and you shall answer Me.

4 “Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth?

Tell Me, if you have understanding.

5 Who determined its measurements?

Surely you know!

Or who stretched the line upon it?

6 To what were its foundations fastened?

Or who laid its cornerstone,

And Peter wrote by THE SPIRIT in chapter 2:

1 Therefore, laying aside all malice, all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and all evil speaking,

2 as newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby,

3 if indeed you have tasted that the Lord is gracious.

4 Coming to Him as to a living stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen by God and precious,

5 you also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

6 Therefore it is also contained in the Scripture,

“Behold, I lay in Zion

A chief cornerstone, elect, precious,

And he who believes on Him will by no means be put to shame.”

Jesus is The Word and thus being the chief cornerstone, we are to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to FATHER through Jesus Christ.  What spiritual sacrifices can we offer?  In Hebrews chapter 13, it is written by THE SPIRIT:

15 Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name.

16 But do not forget to do good and to share, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.

Those who give praise unto FATHER and go about doing good works, including sharing of their resources, are two examples of offering up acceptable sacrifices.  No matter what is going on in the world, we should come to a point where we can joyfully praise Our Heavenly Father.  HE has the power and authority to change the conditions around us immediately so we should not be hesitant to continue to do good works which center around Agape Love.

With Jesus being the Chief Cornerstone, all of our thoughts and actions should be in reference to Him.  Jesus spoke in Matthew chapter 7:

24 “Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock:

25 and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.

26 “But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand:

27 and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall.”

Let our commitment to Him be rock-solid!

Hear Him!

May 7th, 2019

It is written by THE SPIRIT in Matthew chapter 17:

1 Now after six days Jesus took Peter, James, and John his brother, led them up on a high mountain by themselves;

2 and He was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became as white as the light.

3 And behold, Moses and Elijah appeared to them, talking with Him.

4 Then Peter answered and said to Jesus, “Lord, it is good for us to be here; if You wish, let us make here three tabernacles: one for You, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.”

5 While he was still speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them; and suddenly a voice came out of the cloud, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Hear Him!”

FATHER explicitly tells the disciples to pay attention to the Words of Jesus as they saw and heard the confirmation of His preeminence over the Law and the Prophets.  We would do well to pay close attention to this declaration made by FATHER.  The disciples were ready to exalt Moses and Elijah to the same level as Jesus but FATHER set them straight in this declaration.  Peter expounded on this event when he wrote by THE SPIRIT in his 2nd epistle, chapter 1:

16 For we did not follow cunningly devised fables when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of His majesty.

17 For He received from God the Father honor and glory when such a voice came to Him from the Excellent Glory: “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”

18 And we heard this voice which came from heaven when we were with Him on the holy mountain.

19 And so we have the prophetic word confirmed, which you do well to heed as a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts;

20 knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation,

21 for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.

Did FATHER tell the disciples to focus on the Law and Prophets rather than the Words of Jesus?  Absolutely not, for the Law and Prophets pointed to the fulfillment of FATHER’S plan by the Word becoming flesh to explicitly communicate with us and declare FATHER’S character for all to see and hear.

If you only had a few months left to live, what would your focus be, the Law, the Prophets, or the Words of Jesus?  Did the Law bring forth salvation?  Did the prophets heal all who were oppressed by the devil?  Jesus is the Confirmation of what Moses and Elijah longed to see as they were moved by THE SPIRIT.  We have the benefit of being placed on earth at this time in history so let us mature according to FATHER’S Divine purpose and fulfill our individual callings with the firm foundation of the Truths declared by Our Lord Jesus Christ.

I seek not be another Moses or Elijah.  Jesus is my Example of what a mature son or daughter should focus on as we ascend into the fullness of our calling.  No, I am not saying that we disregard what is written in the Old Testament but we should never allow our focus to be moved away from Who FATHER says “Hear Him”!

Victorious In Christ

May 6th, 2019

Paul wrote by THE SPIRIT in 2 Timothy, chapter 1:

6 Therefore I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands.

7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of (Agape) Love and of a sound mind.

A sound mind results in sound judgment and personal discipline, abilities that result in a calm, well-balanced mind and self-control.  Paul also wrote by THE SAME SPIRIT in 1 Corinthians chapter 15:

57 But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

I am fully persuaded that as our revelation of Agape Love increases, we will be victorious in all that FATHER appointed us to do in HIS NAME.  Rather than constantly focusing on the future, we will be fully focused on being victorious in our daily walk of ministering life to others.

James wrote by THE SPIRIT in chapter 1:

2 My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials,

3 knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience.

4 But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.

Trials in our life produce pressure to test us by showing us our level of faith.  Wisdom is how to properly apply knowledge in every situation thus we are to seek FATHER’S Wisdom in every challenge we face.  The Beloved Disciple wrote by THE SPIRIT in John chapter 16:

12 “I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now.

13 However, when He, the Spirit of Truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.

14 He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you.”

Is there a better source of the exact Truth than The Holy Spirit and The Word?  THE SPIRIT moved upon the prophets of old and they spoke FATHER’S Word as they were given It by THE SPIRIT.  How much more should we know the Truth with The Holy Spirit residing on the inside of us?  Why do many seek an intermediary to hear the Truth when they should be focused on developing their spiritual ears to hear?

Paul wrote by THE SPIRIT in Ephesians chapter 6:

14 Stand therefore, having girded your waist (loins) with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness

The word for waist or loins comes from the Hebrew word for gifts.  My friend Alan provides us with a better understanding of this word:

A little research and discussion of this word’s origins and primary reference will go a long way.  This word, and a confusing plethora of other compounded words, all come from the root word most commonly recognized as ‘gift’, and translated into English numerous ways that are difficult to grasp until you realize the Hebrew words being used are all from the same idea of ‘a gift’, or having been ‘gifted’ with a substance or circumstance or ability, etc.  The Strong’s number for this root is H5414, and this root is used many, many times throughout the O.T. Hebrew, but translated ways that tend to hide the original meanings.  For instance, in Genesis 1:17, the word is translated into English as ‘set’, as if God had intentionally placed and positioned the ‘two great lights’ of verse 16 into the firmament; which, of course, is exactly what happened.  But the Hebrew word translated as ‘set’ in verse 17 is the word ‘nah-than’, Strong’s H5414, which we readily understand is the basis for the name ‘Nathan’, and ‘Nathaniel’.  And in this context the word ‘gift’, translated as ‘set’, is an action verb that describes that God intentionally ‘gifted’ the firmament with two great lights.

Another descriptive reference is Gen. 9:12, which reads “…the token (oath) of the covenant which I make (nah-than; gift) between me and you…” These examples are representative of hundreds of ways this concept of ‘gift’, something extended from God to creation, is illustrated throughout the scriptures.  And that sets up the ultimate conclusion that “…God is all, and in all”.  At least to me.

The word ‘mah-than’, sometimes pronounced as ‘mo-then’, ‘mu-then’, etc. is a variation of the verb ‘nah-than’, and is formed by dropping the first letter of ‘nun’, and replacing it with the prefix of ‘mem’.  When prefixing a word with ‘mem’, the word takes on the prepositional characteristic of ‘from being’, or ‘from having been’, or ‘as coming from’.  For example, the word ‘nathan’ is used to communicate a ‘gift’, or as ‘giving a gift’, or as ‘having received a gift’; hence, ‘gifted’.  When the first letter ‘nun’ in this word is replaced by the prefix of ‘mem’, the word ‘gift’ (nah-than) now takes on the understanding of “…from having been gifted”, ‘mah-than’, and the personal possessive identity of having been gifted is ‘mah-thani’, Strong’s # H4981, which is used mainly as a personal pronoun name.  When a final ‘mem’ is added to ‘mah-thani’, making ‘mah-thanim’, it becomes masculine plural personal possession identity.  And ‘mathanim’ is translated primarily as ‘loins’.  In that context, ‘mathanim’, and translated as ‘loins’, makes our ‘loins’ our personal giftings from God that make us uniquely who we are, individually.  Webster’s Dictionary, 1828 Edition, describes ‘loin’ as the lower abdomen, or bowels area, and sometimes referred to as the ‘reins’, which we recognize also as ‘kidneys’.  The ‘loins’, or ‘mah-thanim’, are those unique characteristics that each of us are gifted with, and they are recognized as ‘giftings’ from God.

Proverbs 18:16, where the word ‘mah-than’ is translated specifically as ‘gift’, is a good description of how/why this word ‘mah-than’ is recognized as a ‘gift’.

Amos 8: 9-10 is a fitting description of how negative retaliations from Lord GOD effect our confidence in our ‘giftings’, or ‘loins’.  And in Gen. 37:34 we read that Jacob “…put sackcloth upon his loins (mah-than)” in mourning for Joseph.  Some have relegated ‘the loins’ to referring simply to the bowels, but this word is obviously more inclusive than just our bowels.  Incidentally, there are other Hebrew words translated as ‘loins’ that do not communicate this idea of our unique personal giftings from God.

We are to protect our gifts and callings by encircling, securing, and protecting them with the exact Truth from FATHER.

The Spirit of Prophecy

May 5th, 2019

The Beloved Disciple wrote by THE SPIRIT in Revelation chapter 19:

6 And I heard, as it were, the voice of a great multitude, as the sound of many waters and as the sound of mighty thunderings, saying, “Alleluia! For the Lord God Omnipotent reigns!

7 Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready.”

8 And to her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints.

9 Then he said to me, “Write: ‘Blessed are those who are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb!’ ” And he said to me, “These are the true sayings of God.”

10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. But he said to me, “See that you do not do that! I am your fellow servant, and of your brethren who have the testimony of Jesus. Worship God! For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.”

True prophecy is an utterance or prediction of the Divine Intent, Will, and Purpose of FATHER.  A testimony is evidence or proof provided by the existence or appearance of something or someone.  Jesus was and is THE CONFIRMATION of what FATHER had done, is doing, and will do again!

It is written by THE SPIRIT in Hebrews chapter 12:

1  Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses [who by faith have testified to the truth of God’s absolute faithfulness], stripping off every unnecessary weight and the sin which so easily and cleverly entangles us, let us run with endurance and active persistence the race that is set before us,

2 [looking away from all that will distract us and] focusing our eyes on Jesus, who is the Author and Perfecter of faith [the first incentive for our belief and the One who brings our faith to maturity], who for the joy [of accomplishing the goal] set before Him endured the cross, disregarding the shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God [revealing His deity, His authority, and the completion of His work].  AMPL

I have full confidence in FATHER’S Love and ability in all HE instructs me to do as I am led by HIS SPIRIT.  When HE spoke to me and said, “You will live and not die”, I accepted HIS Word of prophecy thus I am alive today to write to my Beloved Brothers and Sisters to testify of HIS Agape Love for us.  I exercised faith in HIS ability, not mine.  Jesus was, is, and will be the expressed Example we are to live by thus we must not allow ourselves to be distracted by clever opinions derived by man’s logic.

In chapter 11:

11 By faith Sarah herself also received strength to conceive seed, and she bore a child when she was past the age, because she judged Him faithful who had promised.

Sarah’s confidence was in FATHER’S Word to bring about what HE prophesied to Abraham, without regard of the physical condition of her body.  She had faith that HE was reliable and true to HIS Word.

Matthew wrote by THE SPIRIT in chapter 4:

23 And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease among the people.

24 Then His fame went throughout all Syria; and they brought to Him all sick people who were afflicted with various diseases and torments, and those who were demon-possessed, epileptics, and paralytics; and He healed them.

In chapter 8:

16 When evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed. And He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick, 17 that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying:

“He Himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses.”

Here Jesus expressed the fulfillment of FATHER’S prophecy spoken by Isaiah and that prophecy continues to be fulfilled this very day and beyond.  In chapter 12:

15 But when Jesus knew it, He withdrew from there. And great multitudes  followed Him, and He healed them all.

In chapter 14:

14 And when Jesus went out He saw a great multitude; and He was moved with compassion for them, and healed their sick.

How many failed to get healed?  Zero.  The testimony of Jesus was to heal all.  Has that testimony changed in the least?  Not at all.  Has FATHER’S prophecy of HIS willingness to heal all changed in the last 2,000 years?  No, we need to have faith in FATHER’S Word, willingness, and ability to heal us today.  When we truly see FATHER’S Love expressed toward us as individuals, we have the assurance of HIS willingness to heal us… without exception.

Many believers seek out prophecy hoping to find one that assures us of escaping the current corruption in the world.  Deep down they simply want FATHER to wipe out all the issues which confront them on a daily basis.  They look to their “prophet” for a word to come forth and also come to pass.  Over and over those prophets prophesy and tickle the ears of their followers but without any tangible results.  Their followers soon forget the numerous prophetic failures and hope that the next prophecy will finally manifest and rid them of life’s daily challenges.

Jesus warned us in Matthew chapter 24:

24  “For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.”

Let us simply follow the Words and acts of Jesus Christ Who is the Spirit of Prophecy.

Men’s Doctrines

May 4th, 2019

FATHER spoke in Isaiah 29:

11 The whole vision has become to you like the words of a book that is sealed, which men deliver to one who is literate, saying, “Read this, please.”

And he says, “I cannot, for it is sealed.”

12 Then the book is delivered to one who is illiterate, saying, “Read this, please.”

And he says, “I am not literate.”

13 Therefore the Lord said:

“Inasmuch as these people draw near with their mouths

And honor Me with their lips,

But have removed their hearts far from Me,

And their fear toward Me is taught by the commandment of men,

14 Therefore, behold, I will again do a marvelous work

Among this people,

A marvelous work and a wonder;

For the wisdom of their wise men shall perish,

And the understanding of their prudent (discerning) men shall be hidden.”

Jesus quoted this passage in Mark chapter 7 when the Pharisees and scribes challenged him concerning the disciples eating with unwashed hands.  They found fault since they did not submit to the established traditions.

We must guard ourselves from submitting to any religious traditions established by ministries who insinuate they have a deeper relationship with FATHER than any of us.  Each of us has the capacity to directly hear from FATHER and we need not worry about some word given by a popular ministry which is in conflict with what FATHER is directing us to do.

When FATHER made the statement “But have removed their hearts far from Me”, HE indicated that at one time their hearts were not far from HIM thus a person can distance himself from FATHER even after he had been close to FATHER at one time.  Jesus said it this way in Revelations chapter 2:

4 Nevertheless I have this against you, that you have left your first love.

5 Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent and do the first works, or else I will come to you quickly and remove your lampstand from its place—unless you repent.

If this could not happen, Jesus would not be warning us.

In Mark chapter 7, Jesus spoke, quoting Isaiah chapter 29:

6 He answered and said to them, “Well did Isaiah prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is written:

‘This people honors Me with their lips,

But their heart is far from Me.

7 And in vain they worship Me,

Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.’”

How do we know if the teachings we are being exposed to are doctrines of men?  By knowing The Word, especially the Words of Jesus.  Do their teachings promote unconditional Love?  Do they exalt themselves rather than Jesus?  Do they even mention Jesus Christ in their teachings?  Do they make the Word so complex that we have difficulty in following their teaching?

The Holy Spirit initiates a check in my spirit when I hear a teaching that is suspect.  If I respond to that check and ask FATHER to reveal the issue, HE will.  Often, we assume that teachers, preachers, and evangelists with past success, are not susceptible to error.  Jesus warns us of this in Mark 7 so we must be vigilant to protect ourselves from this reality.  Since it happened to me in the past, I can attest to the need for this warning.  In FATHER’S great grace and mercy, HE corrected me and restored me to the correct path.  My immaturity at the time required HIS Wisdom to prevail in my life.  My wife detected the issue but I failed to respond to the check in her heart.  Ugggh!

These past experiences requiring FATHER’S correction allow me to share with you that we are all human and can be misled.  Agape Love must be at the center of a teaching in order to express FATHER’S Divine Intent and Will.  If we pursue the fullness of the revelation of Love then we cannot be misdirected to man’s doctrines.  If we know FATHER’S Character (HIS Ways) then we will know if a teaching has any error in it, thus we will not embrace the error.  We must protect our hearts from the doctrines of men.

FATHER’S Kingdom

May 3rd, 2019

Each of us has the power to choose who we identify with.  Whomever we identify with will have the greatest influence in our lives, whether it be a particular culture, a sports team, a vacation spot, or political persuasion.  It is also true concerning which kingdom you choose to align yourself and submit to:  FATHER’S Kingdom or the kingdoms of the world.

In Matthew chapter 7, Jesus spoke:

21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in Heaven.”

One cannot live a life of compromise and expect to enter The Kingdom.  It is reserved for those who joyfully do the will of Our Heavenly Father and produce good fruit for The Kingdom.

Paul wrote by THE SPIRIT in 2 Corinthians chapter 5:

17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

18 Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation,

19 that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation.

20 Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God.

An ambassador is one who rightfully belongs to The Kingdom and represents it to other kingdoms and cultures.  FATHER means for us to take our ambassadorship seriously and without reservation.  Yes, we will not be received by everyone outside The Kingdom but nevertheless we are to gladly represent Our Heavenly Father even to our enemies through unconditional Love.

In Matthew chapter 18, Jesus spoke:

1  At that time the disciples came to Jesus and asked, “Who is greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven?”

2 He called a little child and set him before them,

3 and said, “I assure you and most solemnly say to you, unless you repent [that is, change your inner self—your old way of thinking, live changed lives] and become like children [trusting, humble, and forgiving], you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.

4 Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this child is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

5 Whoever receives and welcomes one child like this in My name receives Me;

6 but whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to stumble and sin [by leading him away from My teaching], it would be better for him to have a heavy millstone hung around his neck and to be drowned in the depth of the sea.”   AMPL

We are to be trusting, humble, and forgiving if we are to excel in FATHER’S Kingdom.  We are also warned against leading others away from the teachings of Jesus.  This is one reason FATHER has me focus heavily on the Words of Jesus rather than spend an inordinate amount of time in the Old Testament.  The old covenant was insufficient in its ability to bring forth The Kingdom so why divert  our focus away from the current covenant which provides us a sure foundation?

If we know our rights according to FATHER’S Kingdom, then we can establish the proper expectation of what it means to produce good fruit.  These teachings are meant to assist the reader in a greater understanding of what rights and privileges are given to us according to FATHER’S Word which expresses HIS Divine Intent.  As well, it is most critical that we walk in unconditional Love and Jesus set this expectation in His teachings.  When an expectation is created, action follows.  As we are transformed by the renewing of our mind to align with FATHER, nothing will be impossible for us.
