Two Healing Anointings

August 2nd, 2019

It is written by THE SPIRIT in Acts chapter 4:

23 And being let go, they went to their own companions and reported all that the chief priests and elders had said to them.

24 So when they heard that, they raised their voice to God with one accord and said: “Lord, You are God, who made heaven and earth and the sea, and all that is in them,

25 who by the mouth of Your servant David have said:

‘Why did the nations rage, and the people plot vain things?

26 The kings of the earth took their stand, and the rulers were gathered together against the LORD and against His Christ.’

What greater authority is there than the “kings of the earth”?  Our Heavenly FATHER is the Supreme Authority over Heaven and earth.  Do we have a term for this level of authority?  An emperor is a sovereign ruler of great power and rank, especially one ruling an empire.  His empire is made up of kingdoms with kings overseeing each kingdom.  His word is carried out by kings in their assigned kingdom.  An empire is an extensive group of states, countries, or kingdoms under a single supreme authority.  With this background, let’s look at the Psalm the disciples referenced when they prayed.

In Psalm chapter 2, it is written by THE SPIRIT:

1 Why do the nations rage,

And the people plot a vain thing?

2 The kings of the earth set themselves,

And the rulers take counsel together,

Against the LORD and against His Anointed, saying,

3 “Let us break Their bonds in pieces

And cast away Their cords from us.”

4 He who sits in the heavens shall laugh;

The Lord shall hold them in derision.

5 Then He shall speak to them in His wrath,

And distress them in His deep displeasure:

6 “Yet I have set My King

On My holy hill of Zion.”

7 “I will declare the decree:

The LORD has said to Me,

‘You are My Son,

Today I have begotten You.

8 Ask of Me, and I will give You

The nations for Your inheritance,

And the ends of the earth for Your possession.

9 You shall break them with a rod of iron;

You shall dash them to pieces like a potter’s vessel.’ ”

The power and authority of FATHER’S decree supersedes all challenges and resistance by lower authorities.  This decree is carried out by those under FATHER’S Supreme Authority and HIS Word is established over all kingdoms.  HIS “empire” encompasses all of creation without exception.  He is not involved in conquering, for that task is carried out by those under HIS authority.  Jesus walked in both “anointings” as evidenced by His healing ministry.

Matthew wrote by THE SPIRIT in chapter 8:

16 When evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed. And He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick,

In this passage, Jesus operated in His “kingly” anointing and dealt with the demons causing the sickness and disease.  He took direct action to cast out the demons.  This differs from His higher anointing where He simply decreed a result as is found in Luke chapter 5:

24 But that you may know that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins”—He said to the man who was paralyzed, “I say to you, arise, take up your bed, and go to your house.”

25 Immediately he rose up before them, took up what he had been lying on, and departed to his own house, glorifying God.

Jesus issued a “decree” causing the paralyzed man to arise.  Jesus did not focus on the underlying cause of the paralysis but His decree caused the issue to line up with His decree.  FATHER decreed for “light” to be and the necessary resources and actions responded and aligned themselves to produce light.  It is clear that there are two distinct anointings in Jesus’ healing ministry.  One is a “kingly” anointing and the other is a higher “imperial” anointing.  Both are necessary, and depending on the situation, The Holy Spirit will guide us to utilize the appropriate anointing.

Face-To-Face

August 1st, 2019

The Beloved Disciple wrote by THE SPIRIT in John chapter 14:

21 He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.”

As we mature in Agape Love, we open ourselves to be visited face-to-face with Jesus Himself.  The word “manifest” means: exhibit to view, to show one’s self, come to view, appear, to indicate, disclose, declare, make known.  Is Jesus opposed to appearing before you or me?  Not in the least.  Many believers have testified of their face-to-face encounters with Jesus thus He is not reluctant to appear and visit with us.

Many have sought encounters with angels yet why should we direct our focus on the messengers when the “Message Giver” is willing to manifest Himself to us?  Jesus manifested Himself many times after His resurrection.  Mark wrote by THE SPIRIT in Mark chapter 16:

9 Now when He rose early on the first day of the week, He appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom He had cast seven demons.

10 She went and told those who had been with Him, as they mourned and wept.

11 And when they heard that He was alive and had been seen by her, they did not believe.

12 After that, He appeared in another form to two of them as they walked and went into the country.

13 And they went and told it to the rest, but they did not believe them either.

14 Later He appeared to the eleven as they sat at the table; and He rebuked their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they did not believe those who had seen Him after He had risen.

What keeps us from expecting Jesus’ appearance?  Unbelief.  Jesus isn’t restricted to visitations based on some worldly perception of scarcity of time or space.  It is written by THE SPIRIT in Acts chapter 1:

1 The former account I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach,

2 until the day in which He was taken up, after He through the Holy Spirit had given commandments to the apostles whom He had chosen,

3 to whom He also presented Himself alive after His suffering by many infallible proofs, being seen by them during forty days and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God.

Those of us who are pressing in can expect Jesus to present Himself to us just as He accommodated the disciples after His resurrection.  He will show us the depth of His Love and speak to us those things pertaining to the Kingdom.  In order to fully understand the Kingdom, we must know The King.  Otherwise, we may know His acts but not know His ways.

The Alpha And Omega

July 31st, 2019

Paul wrote by THE SPIRIT in 2 Corinthians chapter 4:

1 Therefore, since we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we do not lose heart.

2 But we have renounced the hidden things of shame, not walking in craftiness nor handling the word of God deceitfully, but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God.

3 But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing,

4 whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.

5 For we do not preach ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord, and ourselves your bondservants for Jesus’ sake.

6 For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

What is your primary focus of spiritual study?  Paul was speaking to the church at Corinth when he was given the above Words by THE SPIRIT to them.  We are to focus on Christ Jesus the Lord in order to receive the fullness of light for He is the One Who perfected the covenant with Our Heavenly Father.  He is the One who is the perfect example of how we are to walk.  His Words must be preeminent in our life in order for us to come into full maturity as Sons and Daughters.  Is there a better example in Scripture?

Paul was an expert in the Old Covenant yet he readily admitted the focus must be on Christ Jesus, not the 613 commandments and statutes.  He received the revelation of Agape Love and zealously pursued the walk associated with this revelation.  He understood difference in walking in the darkness versus the light and how men have handled The Word with craftiness and deceit.

Paul had experienced the blindness that exists in man when the walk is without the Light of The Gospel.  If the source of the light is The Gospel, why do men place their focus elsewhere?  The light of the knowledge of the glory of FATHER is in the face of Jesus Christ for He is The Word made flesh.

The glory on the face of Moses was temporary so why should we focus on him?  Don’t get me wrong, The Law was given out of Love but It did not fulfill or complete our relationship with FATHER.  Only Jesus could perfect our relationship.  The ego looks for ways to digress into studies away from the focus of Agape Love perfected by Christ.  I believe this to be the Pentecostal mindset for there is still a sifting that needs to take place and the ego is well aware that if this sifting is pursued, it will end the ego’s influence on the person.

Many will not pursue this final sifting and join Our Lord Jesus Christ in the final battle to bring The Kingdom to earth.  Jesus is the Alpha and HE and the Sons and Daughters are the Omega.  The Beloved Disciple wrote in chapter 6 of The Revelation of Jesus Christ:

2 And I looked, and behold, a white horse. He who sat on it had a bow; and a crown was given to him, and he went out conquering and to conquer.

The bow is the Covenant and Jesus has one crown for He is the Alpha or the beginning of the New Covenant.  But in chapter 19:

11 Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war.

12 His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that no one knew except Himself.

13 He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God.

14 And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses.

15 Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

16 And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written:

KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.

Immediately after the marriage to His Bride, He is no longer singularly conquering for now He has His armies (the Bride) with Him.  They are the Omega company: aka The Bride, aka The Sons and Daughters.

The crown for a King or Queen represents power, legitimacy, immortality, righteousness, victory, triumph, resurrection, honor and glory of life after death.  Those who make up the Bride, have laid their crowns before Our Lord Jesus Christ and He possesses those crowns as He leads His armies into battle as shown in verse 12.

As we become fully mature in Christ and complete the siftings into the fullness of purity clothed in fine linen WHITE and CLEAN, we will mount up in power and authority with our KING and LORD to conquer the land.  As for me, I am embracing this final sifting and fully expect to be counted among those who “ride” into battle with The Word.

All Authority To The Pure

July 30th, 2019

Brother Eby wrote:

“God is even now preparing an army of overcoming ones, transformed in the spirit of their mind, triumphing within themselves over sin, error, limitation, and death, who shall go forth in the power of the Spirit to pull down the strongholds of creed and ritual and religious foolishness and ignorance and set the captives free; who will beat down the prison-houses of mis-conceptions, mis-information, mis-understanding, and of sin and death, and let the prisoners go free! Satan is not a God like unto the Lord my God. He does not interfere with God’s purposes nor frustrate God’s plans. ALL AUTHORIITY is given to the Christ of God — in heaven and in earth! How much authority is “ALL” authority? Oh, how men patronize and glorify the devil by attributing to him at least some of that “ALL” authority! Those who fear the devil, struggle with the devil, warn men about the devil’s power are devil worshippers. They give reverence and homage before the altar of his supposed power! They thus deny that ALL AUTHORITY is now given to God’s Christ! ALL of it! ALL of it in the heavens! ALL of it in the earth! And in that authority He is with us always, even unto the end of the age! Is He not with us today in His authority and power! That is what He is teaching every son, and demanding we experience and prove the truth of it within ourselves in every situation of our lives, as we train in His army to judge and make war and smite the nations with the sword of our mouth and rule them with a rod of iron!”

Paul wrote by THE SPIRIT in Romans chapter 12:

1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

If we are to fully function as mature Sons and Daughters, we must renew our minds which will result in us being transformed.  As we are being transformed, we will be tested in our faith and we will suffer afflictions but we must not be moved by those afflictions.

Sifting out the impurities in our life will most likely be a painful process.  My salvation was one sifting process.  The baptism of The Holy Spirit was a different sifting process.  The third sifting is the most challenging process for it is intended to remove the impurities which are hidden in the crevices of our soul.  Instead of being reluctant to submitting to the siftings, let us embrace the siftings knowing that the result will be full transformation of our minds.  This is when we truly die to the flesh and are fully led by THE SPIRIT.

What are the benefits of being pure?  Jesus stated in Matthew chapter 5:

8 Blessed are the pure in heart,

For they shall see God.

Our Purification

July 29th, 2019

The Beloved Disciple wrote by THE SPIRIT in 1 John chapter 3:

1 Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him.

2 Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is.

3 And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.

I am convinced that those who consistently read the postings on this site understand that we are the Sons and Daughters of Our Heavenly Father.  These writings are intended to increase our maturity and revelation in Agape Love.  I press in daily myself toward the full maturity FATHER has shown me which is available to those are willing to truly abide in Christ Jesus.

The world does not know you and me according to our spiritual walk because they don’t know Our Heavenly Father.  They have accepted the world’s ways and do not realize that their path does not lead to eternal life but rather it leads to death and destruction.  I believe that after they physically die, they will be corrected and they will ultimately bow their knee and proclaim Jesus Christ as Lord and the Son of GOD.

We must continue to press in based on the hope FATHER has expressed to us and purify ourselves with The Word.  This is why every posting includes The Word which FATHER gives me prior to writing to my Beloved Brothers and Sisters.

Jesus perfected the covenant we have with FATHER so I believe we must keep our focus on His teachings and those which specifically refer to the New Covenant.  As my friend Alan has conveyed, “The Old Testament contains metaphors and examples which point to the Truths in the New Testament.”

Many teachers focus on dates, times, and seasons… I don’t.  Why?  I prefer to focus on the “now” because that is where you and I live daily.  If we focus too much on the external, we tend to deemphasize the need to purify ourselves.  This purification process must be our priority on a daily basis.  Do you really think that FATHER is going to suddenly empower on the 8th day of Tabernacles if you have not focused on purifying yourself and “die daily” to the flesh?

Do you think that if you don’t walk in unconditional Love today that FATHER is going to raise you up and have you rule and reign at some specific feast day in the future?

What is the essence of the parable of the ten virgins?  Isn’t it to become pure and maintain that purity by being led by The Holy Spirit and keeping our lamps trimmed with the oil?

7 Little children, let no one deceive you. He who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous.

8 He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.

We are explicitly told to practice righteousness on a daily basis.  We are told to purify ourselves and this too is a daily activity.  Let us not allow sin to be found among us for this indicates that the devil is still being effective in our lives.

Jesus’ specific purpose is to destroy the works of the devil and that should be our purpose as well.  How we do this?  By maturing into full purity, by being cleansed by The Word, and being led by The Holy Spirit.  Some might say, “I don’t know if I can do this?”  I assure you that if it was not realistic to pursue, FATHER would not urge us to take on such a path.

I look back on my life and frankly I am appalled at my impurities and selfish acts over the years.  How could I ever expect to become pure?  By HIS great grace and mercy in my life.  FATHER has provided us with examples such as Paul and Peter to show us how we are able to set aside the past by receiving the fullness of HIS unconditional Love.  Let us accept the fullness of the ministry of Jesus Christ.  Let us honor Him by focusing on our own purification so that we can fully function as mature Sons and Daughters.

Our Focus

July 26th, 2019

It is written by THE SPIRIT in Mark chapter 16:

14 Later Jesus appeared to the eleven as they sat at the table; and He rebuked their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they did not believe those who had seen Him after He had risen.

15 And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.

16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.

17 And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues;

18 they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

Man was formed in the womb by Divine Intent and for a specific purpose.  Until this purpose is realized and is in process of fulfillment, man has a vacuum or an emptiness within that desires to be filled.  This is why men and women will flock to a meeting where miracles are occurring.  They want the supernatural to operate in their lives and fill that void.

Within the Great Commission, the supernatural is expected to occur as confirmation to the people of the source of the message.  FATHER will confirm HIS Word but will not confirm man’s teaching or preaching arising out of the soulish ego, traditions, or customs.

In Matthew chapter 4, it is written by THE SPIRIT:

23 And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease among the people.

24 Then His fame went throughout all Syria; and they brought to Him all sick people who were afflicted with various diseases and torments, and those who were demon-possessed, epileptics, and paralytics; and He healed them.

25 Great multitudes followed Him—from Galilee, and from Decapolis, Jerusalem, Judea, and beyond the Jordan.

Jesus preached the Gospel and has directed us to preach the Gospel.  What is the Gospel?  It is the good news of being able to enter the Kingdom of Our Heavenly Father through Jesus Christ.  Jesus preached “Repent, change your inner self—your old way of thinking, regret past sins, live your life in a way that proves repentance; seek God’s purpose for your life, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.”  Further, He directed the people to walk in Agape Love which fulfills ALL the Law.

The Law modified our external behavior but did nothing to internal change us.  The children of Israel proved its insufficiency over and over again.  But when Jesus became our perfect sacrifice and sent The Holy Spirit to lead us and guide us into all Truth, our hearts began to change and began the purification process.  The issue is our inner self, not our external compliance to The Law.

The Holy Spirit is fully lawful by nature thus as we are led by The Holy Spirit, we will fulfill the Law and nature of Our Heavenly Father.  Do I need to focus on The Law or the Lawgiver?  I trust My Heavenly Father to guide me in all matters according to HIS Divine Intent of Love thus I will fulfill The Law in my daily life.

One of the lawyers tested Jesus concerning The Law in Matthew chapter 22, and Jesus responded:

35 Then one of them, a lawyer, asked Him a question, testing Him, and saying,

36 “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?”

37 Jesus said to him, “ ‘You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’

38 This is the first and great commandment.

39 And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’

40 On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”

The word “hang” means to sum up in verse 40.  The entire Old Testament is pointing us to Agape Love found in Jesus Christ, the Word made flesh.  Shouldn’t our focus be placed in walking fully and completely in Agape Love as well?

Simple Faith

July 25th, 2019

Wisdom wrote in Proverbs chapter 3:

5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart,

And lean not on your own understanding;

6 In all your ways acknowledge Him,

And He shall direct your paths.

7 Do not be wise in your own eyes;

Fear the LORD and depart from evil.

8 It will be health to your flesh,

And strength to your bones.

Wisdom tells us to lean not to our own understanding but rather trust in FATHER wholly and completely.  If we can only grasp this Truth, the pressure derived from “performance-based” thinking will subside and peace will take its place.

Those who believe that you must achieve a certain level of spirituality will never truly be at peace for they will always seek a higher level of knowledge and understanding.  They have replaced the simplicity of the Gospel with the complexity of religion.  They have in essence become professional students of the written Word without understanding the Divine Intent contained therein.

In Acts chapter 3, Peter healed a certain man lame from his mother’s womb and because of this healing, the people were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him.  Had Peter and John completed any courses in Theology?  Had they followed a crash course in The Law?  If not, how is it that Peter was able to command the lame man to rise up and be healed?  Peter had been baptized in The Holy Spirit and was being led by THE SPIRIT.  What about the experts in The Law?  They had passed by this lame man for years and had no solution to his dilemma.

It is written by THE SPIRIT in Acts chapter 4:

5 And it came to pass, on the next day, that their rulers, elders, and scribes,

6 as well as Annas the high priest, Caiaphas, John, and Alexander, and as many as were of the family of the high priest, were gathered together at Jerusalem.

7 And when they had set them in the midst, they asked, “By what power or by what name have you done this?”

8 Then Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, said to them, “Rulers of the people and elders of Israel:

9 If we this day are judged for a good deed done to a helpless man, by what means he has been made well,

10 let it be known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, by Him this man stands here before you whole.

11 This is the ‘stone which was rejected by you builders, which has become the chief cornerstone.’

12 Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”

13 Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated and untrained men, they marveled. And they realized that they had been with Jesus.

14 And seeing the man who had been healed standing with them, they could say nothing against it.

15 But when they had commanded them to go aside out of the council, they conferred among themselves,

16 saying, “What shall we do to these men? For, indeed, that a notable miracle has been done through them is evident to all who dwell in Jerusalem, and we cannot deny it.

17 But so that it spreads no further among the people, let us severely threaten them, that from now on they speak to no man in this name.”

18 So they called them and commanded them not to speak at all nor teach in the name of Jesus.

19 But Peter and John answered and said to them, “Whether it is right in the sight of God to listen to you more than to God, you judge.

20 For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard.”

This passage provides us a great example of the simplicity found in The Gospel.  Peter did not have a doctorate in religion for he was uneducated and untrained in The Law.  He simply had faith in what he had seen and heard.  He saw the works of Jesus and heard the Word through Jesus.  His faith was energized when he received the baptism of The Holy Spirit.  This did not require years of study but Peter simply trusted in Our Lord Jesus Christ and submitted to The Holy Spirit.

We do not need to complicate our lives by following a “performance-based” religion.  Let us follow Peter and John’s example and walk in the same power through the simplicity of being led by THE SPIRIT.  As FATHER speaks to us, our faith will grow and HIS power will flow through us so that we can fulfill our purpose IN HIM.

True Faith

July 24th, 2019

Jesus spoke in Mark chapter 11:

22 So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God.

23 For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.

24 Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.

25 “And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses.

26 But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your trespasses.”

During the “faith” movement in the 1970’s, the evangelists promoted the idea of having “the God-kind of faith” rather than “have faith in God”.  They either omitted the rest of the passage or at least de-emphasized the remainder.  This omission was an injustice to those who were immature in their walk with Christ.  Frankly, I fell into that group.  I assumed that these faith teachers were teaching the Word without any of their own bias.  Clearly, I was wrong.

The faith teachers allowed their own doctrine to infiltrate their teaching and promoted a “name it and claim it” doctrine thus you had everyone claiming houses, automobiles, and any other of the world’s trappings.  Don’t get me wrong, FATHER is interested in meeting our needs but HE is not interested in promoting our ego.

A key to having faith is “when you pray” or communicate with FATHER according to HIS Word.  HIS Word, whether written or spoken, is what HE will bring to manifestation on our behalf.  HE will supply our needs and “GODLY” desires according to HIS riches if we will listen to HIM and respond when HE directs us to take certain actions.  Those actions reveal our level of faith IN HIM.

In the early 1980’s, my wife and I were making mortgage payments on our house.  FATHER spoke to me and told me to begin believing HIM for our house to be paid off.  In response, I prayed accordingly and from that point on, I thanked HIM every day for my mortgage being paid in full.  Nineteen months later, the mortgage was paid off.  Money came in from unexpected sources and it was clear FATHER was confirming HIS Word to me.  It was not due to my financial prowess but instead it was due to HIS involvement.

Another aspect of Jesus’ Words concerns forgiveness which translates to Agape Love.  If you have unforgiveness in your heart, you will impede your faith from growing into great faith.  If you are lawless, that too will impede your faith as well as causing you to have great difficulty in hearing FATHER.

FATHER is not reluctant to bless us.  It was HIS idea to pay off our house early, not mine.  I did not consider it an option at the time.  Out of HIS Love for me did HE bring up the opportunity to teach me real faith.  I heard HIS Voice and based my confession on HIS Word.  It was that simple.

David wrote by THE SPIRIT in Psalm chapter 34:

1 I will bless the LORD at all times;

His praise shall continually be in my mouth.

2 My soul shall make its boast in the LORD;

The humble shall hear of it and be glad.

3 Oh, magnify the LORD with me,

And let us exalt His name together.

HIS praise came forth from my mouth on a daily basis.  My faith became stronger because I would not let unbelief enter in and dilute HIS Word to me.  I was at rest with HIS promise and simply walked out HIS Word.

This example is not meant to exalt me in any fashion but to encourage you that FATHER’S Word is as valid today as when It was written.  The Words of Jesus contain the same power now as when He first spoke them 2,000 years ago.  As it is written by THE SPIRIT in Hebrews chapter 13:

8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

9 Do not be carried about with various and strange doctrines.

Led By The Spirit

July 23rd, 2019

Paul wrote by THE SPIRIT in 1 Corinthians chapter 6:

19 Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?

20 For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.

Many of us tend to lose sight of this Truth- our bodies are the temple of The Holy Spirit.  We are no longer independent and should be led by The Holy Spirit in all we say and do thus we should not abuse our bodies in any fashion.  As we embrace this Truth, we will begin to adjust our activities accordingly.

Men long for the true spiritual to take place in their lives for there is an emptiness without the spiritual.  When The Holy Spirit comes and dwells within us, we are at first excited but then when the initial excitement wears off, we often take it for granted and lose sight of the supernatural blessing FATHER has bestowed on us.

Paul wrote by THE SPIRIT in Romans chapter 8:

12 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors—not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh.

13 For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.

14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.

15 For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.”

16 The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God,

17 and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.

If there is one reality we should embrace, it is verse 14.  Every single day when we awaken, we must not allow ourselves to be misdirected and distracted from this Truth.  We are led by THE SPIRIT of Our Heavenly Father and nothing can change this reality unless we choose to withdraw ourselves from it.

As I wrote yesterday:

THE WILL OF THE FATHER IS OUR FIRST LOVE!  THE HIGH CALLING OF GOD IN CHRIST JESUS IS OUR FIRST LOVE!  THE FULLNESS OF GOD HIMSELF IS OUR FIRST LOVE!  Here is the test, my beloved, here is where those in THE EPHESIAN CONDITION must overcome — we cling to the Lord of our first love, our chief love, our best love, our paramount love!  The overcoming ones do not neglect to yield themselves to the purpose and calling of sonship to God!

This Truth must never be neglected as we are challenged by the constant exposure to the ways of the world.  The world’s solutions are temporary by nature though they present themselves as permanent solutions.  The younger you are the more permanent man’s solutions appear to be.  As I have grown older, I have observed man’s “permanent” solutions only to find the weaknesses in their assumptions discovered at a later time.

When we are truly led by THE SPIRIT, we have an advantage over the world’s assumptions and conclusions.  This allows us to bypass much heartache and pain.  Our lives are simpler and we expend less energy but have greater results.  We are not moved by the latest fad or worldly path.

Let us hold onto and protect our first Love and this is done by being led by THE SPIRIT in all things.  As we do, our faith develops into great faith and we are no longer moved by the world’s confession toward us.  We are truly overcomers.  THANK YOU FATHER for giving us The Holy Spirit to reside inside of each of us to fulfill YOUR Will.

First Love

Mark wrote by THE SPIRIT in chapter 16:

14 Later He (Jesus) appeared to the eleven as they sat at the table; and He rebuked their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they did not believe those who had seen Him after He had risen.

People are in desperate need of hope in their lives and they are not receiving it from those who have been exposed to FATHER’S miracle-working power in the past.  I believe that many believers have withdrawn from their first Love and have replaced it with the world’s wisdom and have become preoccupied with the various technologies of today.  In essence, their hearts have become hardened.

Jesus spoke in Revelations chapter 2:

4 Nevertheless I have this against you, that you have left your first love.

5 Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent and do the first works, or else I will come to you quickly and remove your lampstand from its place—unless you repent.

Brother Eby wrote:  When Jesus uses the words “first love” He speaks not of the childish and immature love we experienced when first we met the Lord.  He’s referring to exclusive love — first place in our hearts above all other things!  The Christians in the religious systems today are satisfied with merely an entrance into the family of God where as children they can enjoy the many blessings and wonderful benefits of God’s mercy, kindness, and goodness.  Their eyes are blind to the higher purposes of God, and any efforts to lead them on to higher ground are rebuffed and resisted by a human reasoning that asks why one should waste time on “deep things” when they are already saved and “on their way to heaven.”  But the new birth, while it is the most astounding miracle of the ages, is, nevertheless, but the birth of a mere spiritual infant.  There are many further steps that must follow this birth if one is to come into all the glories and the full heritage which is prepared for those who follow on to know the Lord.

The revelation of Agape Love should be preeminent in our lives so that we can help a hurting world.  As we come into the fullness of this revelation, we should expect signs to follow us as we minister to those in need.  Technology does not address depression, only FATHER’S Love will wipe away such a state many find themselves in.  Social media actually promotes depression as people attempt to depict their lives without any issues and instead paint a picture of a trouble-free life.

There are many who need a miracle in their life but they have no idea how to receive such a miracle.  The world wants us to rely on the next scientific discovery while many are dying today for lack of FATHER’S miracle-working power in their lives.

. 5 Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent and do the first works, or else I will come to you quickly and remove your lampstand from its place—unless you repent.

If you have lost your focus and priority of Agape Love in your life, you need to repent… it is that simple.  You need to change your priority and eliminate those activities that draw you away from your relationship with FATHER.  Entertainment found in social media is one such area.

On our recent trip, I watch numerous people focused on their smart phones rather than their surroundings.  Drivers were more interested in looking at their phones than driving.  Restaurants have placed a multitude of TV’s so that people can be fully distracted from the people sitting across from them at the table.  “It’s all about me!”

How can we hear FATHER if we allow ourselves to be totally distracted?  While the people around us are losing hope, many of us have chosen to disregard the signs of desperation they are sending out.

Love is the only solution to today’s problems.  FATHER has the solutions and HE is waiting to hear the prayers of righteous men and women who have not lost their first Love.  These are the ones whose priorities are on others rather than tickling their emotions with the world’s various forms of entertainment.

As Jesus said, “Repent!”
