Being An Intimate Friend

November 23rd, 2020

It is written by The Holy Spirit in Hebrews chapter11:

6 And without faith living within us it would be impossible to please God. For we come to God in faith knowing that HE is real and that HE rewards the faith of those who give all their passion and strength into seeking him.

Each day I go before FATHER in faith and excitement.  I do not need someone to urge me to seek Our Heavenly Father on a daily basis.  Why?  HE and I have a history and I don’t need some man’s assurance that FATHER is accessible to me.

Every day as I seek FATHER’S instructions, I reaffirm my faith IN HIM.  I know man has no solutions for my life but only FATHER can lead me and guide me into all Truth.

5 Faith lifted Enoch from this life and he was taken up into heaven! He never had to experience death; he just disappeared from this world because God promoted him. For before he was translated to the heavenly realm his life had become a pleasure to God.

I seek to be that same “pleasure” to FATHER as Enoch was in his walk.  Enoch did not start walking in such a manner until he was sixty-five years old.  It says to me, you are never too old to begin pleasing FATHER.

In Matthew chapter 8, Jesus encountered “great” faith:

5 Now when Jesus had entered Capernaum, a centurion came to Him, pleading with Him, 6 saying, “Lord, my servant is lying at home paralyzed, dreadfully tormented.”

7 And Jesus said to him, “I will come and heal him.”

8 The centurion answered and said, “Lord, I am not worthy that You should come under my roof. But only speak a word, and my servant will be healed. 9 For I also am a man under authority, having soldiers under me. And I say to this one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and to another, ‘Come,’ and he comes; and to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.”

10 When Jesus heard it, He marveled, and said to those who followed, “Assuredly, I say to you, I have not found such great faith, not even in Israel! 11 And I say to you that many will come from east and west, and sit down with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven. 12 But the sons of the kingdom will be cast out into outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” 13 Then Jesus said to the centurion, “Go your way; and as you have believed, so let it be done for you.” And his servant was healed that same hour.

In the end, it is all about hearing and trusting in FATHER’S Word.  In John chapter 15, Jesus spoke:

9 “I Love each of you with the same Love that the Father Loves Me. You must continually let My Love nourish your hearts. 10 If you keep My commands, you will live in My Love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands, for I continually live nourished and empowered by HIS Love. 11 My purpose for telling you these things is so that the joy that I experience will fill your hearts with overflowing gladness!

12 “So this is my command: Love each other deeply, as much as I have Loved you. 13 For the greatest Love of all is a Love that sacrifices all. And this great Love is demonstrated when a person sacrifices his life for his friends.

14 “You show that you are my intimate friends when you obey all that I command you. 15 I have never called you ‘servants,’ because a master doesn’t confide in his servants, and servants don’t always understand what the master is doing. But I call you my most intimate friends, for I reveal to you everything that I’ve heard from my Father. 16 You didn’t choose Me, but I’ve chosen and commissioned you to go into the world to bear fruit. And your fruit will last, because whatever you ask of My Father, for My sake, HE will give it to you! 17 So this is My parting command: Love one another deeply!”

You and I are meant to be intimate friends with Jesus.  We need to simply obey His commands and Love one another deeply.  Let us walk in faith and please FATHER as we affirm our friendship with HIM!

What We Have Been Given

November 20th, 2020

Consider the following list FATHER has intended for each one of us, without exception.  Paul spoke by The Holy Spirit in Colossians chapter 1:

9 So we have not stopped praying for you since we first heard about you. We ask God to give you

complete knowledge of His will

and to give you Spiritual wisdom and understanding.

10 Then the way you live will always honor and please the Lord, and your lives will produce every kind of good fruit.

All the while, you will grow as you learn to know God better and better.

11 We also pray that you will be strengthened with all his glorious power so you will have all the endurance and patience you need.

May you be filled with joy,

12 always thanking the Father. He has enabled you to share in the inheritance that belongs to his people, who live in the light.

13 For He has rescued us from the kingdom of darkness and transferred us into the Kingdom of His dear Son,

14 who purchased our freedom and forgave our sins.

This list is emphasized by Paul in Ephesians 1 as he wrote by The Holy Spirit:

15 Ever since I first heard of your strong faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for God’s people everywhere, 16 I have not stopped thanking God for you. I pray for you constantly, 17 asking God, the glorious Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, to give you Spiritual Wisdom and insight so that you might grow in your knowledge of God.

18 I pray that your hearts will be flooded with light so that you can understand the confident hope He has given to those He called—His holy people who are his rich and glorious inheritance.

19 I also pray that you will understand the incredible greatness of God’s power for us who believe him. This is the same mighty power 20 that raised Christ from the dead and seated Him in the place of honor at God’s right hand in the heavenly realms.

21 Now He is far above any ruler or authority or power or leader or anything else—not only in this world but also in the world to come. 22 God has put all things under the authority of Christ and has made Him head over all things for the benefit of the church. 23 And the church is his body; it is made full and complete by Christ, who fills all things everywhere with Himself.

In Hebrews 13:

20 Now may the God of peace—

who brought up from the dead our Lord Jesus,

the great Shepherd of the sheep,

and ratified an eternal covenant with His blood—

21 may He equip you with all you need

for doing his will.

May He produce in you,

through the power of Jesus Christ,

every good thing that is pleasing to Him.

All glory to Him forever and ever! Amen.

FATHER is the ultimate Giver.  He not only wants to meet our needs but also wants to fulfill our desires.  HE wants an intimate relationship with each of us which is why HE placed us here in the first place.  We are made in HIS image and He desires fellowship on a moment by moment basis.

It is our choice of how close we want to be to FATHER.  As for me, the closer, the better.  As I pray in The Holy Spirit, I promote closeness since I desire to communicate in HIS intimate language without hindrance from the soul.  I am fully convinced that praying in The Holy Spirit promotes maturity in Agape Love because I tap into specific mysteries which are otherwise inaccessible.

Praying in The Holy Spirit not only builds up our faith, it build up Agape Love in us.

No Need To Fear

November 19th, 2020

The Beloved Disciple John wrote in 1John chapter 4:

17 Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world. 18 There is no fear in Love; but perfect Love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in Love. 19 We Love Him because He first Loved us.

The spirit of fear originates with the god of this world and we must not allow ourselves to submit to his kingdom at any time.  The spirit of deception’s primary mandate is to move the Sons and Daughters to this mindsetThe weaker the Son, the easier it is to move in with fear.

As Jesus is in this world, so are we meant to walk in like manner… without fear.  The world would have us believe that a virus threatens us to the point of death.  They want to instill fear in us in order to control us and give up our rights to walk according to THE SPIRIT.

The virus will not kill those walking in faith, I can attest to that Truth.  Let us deal with the virus as we deal with any other sickness or disease- by trusting in FATHER’S Word.  Let not fear enter into our mindset.  Give no place to the spirit of deception and she will depart from you and look for some weaker vessel elsewhere.  There is no need to suffer torment any longer.

20 If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not Love his brother whom he has seen, how can he Love God whom he has not seen? 21 And this commandment we have from Him: that he who Loves God must Love his brother also.

There are many who have wronged me in the past but I purposed to forgive them.  They will receive a judgment for their act, or acts as the case may be.  Those who have lied, cheated, and/or stolen from you in the past will pay recompense.

Once you have forgiven them, FATHER takes on the case and makes a record to be dealt with.  I assure you that when they realize that FATHER has the case, they will regret not dealing with you.  FATHER will demand full payment, even if it involves destruction of the flesh.

Knowing that FATHER will right every wrong against us, we should be able to walk in consistent peace in our lives and no longer be moved by the world’s circumstances.

In Matthew chapter 18, Jesus spoke:

6 “Whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to sin, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were drowned in the depth of the sea. 7 Woe to the world because of offenses! For offenses must come, but woe to that man by whom the offense comes!

Given that FATHER is keeping records of “offenses” of HIS children who believe in ME, we have full assurance that the offences will be reconciled in perfect judgment.  Jesus emphasized this perfect judgment by the following warning:

8 “If your hand or foot causes you to sin, cut it off and cast it from you. It is better for you to enter into life lame or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet, to be cast into the everlasting fire. 9 And if your eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and cast it from you. It is better for you to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes, to be cast into hell fire.”

FATHER takes offences to HIS Sons and Daughters very seriously and Jesus provides multiple examples to show the brevity of judgment.  Let us not allow any offence against us to fester.  Simply give it to FATHER and go on about your day in peace.

Our Perfect Covenant

November 18th, 2020

In Matthew chapter 26, Jesus spoke:

26 As they ate, Jesus took the bread and blessed it and broke it and gave it to his disciples. He said to them, “This is my body. Eat it.” 27 Then taking the cup of wine and giving praises to the Father, He entered into covenant with them, saying, “This is My blood. Each of you must drink it in fulfillment of the covenant. 28 For this is the blood that seals the new covenant. It will be poured out for many for the complete forgiveness of sins. 29 The next time we drink this, I will be with you and we will drink it together with a new understanding in the kingdom realm of my Father.”

30 Then they sang a psalm and left for the Mount of Olives.

You and I have a covenant with Our Heavenly Father and HE is the enforcer of that covenant.  You always make a covenant with someone who is able to enforce the covenant since you and I can’t enforce it.  HE can, HE does, and HE will.

Our covenant with HIM is based on Absolute Truth so how can we be fully compliant with HIS Covenant?  HE allowed for that as well when HE sent HIS Holy Spirit to dwell in us.

Jesus spoke in John 16:

12 “There is so much more I would like to say to you, but it’s more than you can grasp at this moment. 13 But when the Truth-giving Spirit comes, He will unveil the reality of every Truth within you. He won’t speak His own message, but only what He hears from the Father, and He will reveal prophetically to you what is to come. 14 He will glorify Me on the earth, for He will receive from Me what is Mine and reveal it to you. 15 Everything that belongs to the Father belongs to Me—that’s why I say that the Divine Encourager will receive what is Mine and reveal it to you.”

What better way to insure compliance of Our Covenant with FATHER than to have The Holy Spirit oversee it.   I must admit that I have failed to emphasize this covenant in the past but I thank FATHER for HIS great grace and mercy (and patience) with me while I am gaining revelation in this area.

You and I have the perfect covenant with FATHER and HE is more than willing to enforce that covenant as we remind HIM of its benefits.  The enemy does not want us to access this covenant.

When we access this covenant, we should expect healing to come.  Provision will be directed our way as well.  FATHER has “more than enough” to administer this covenant thus we must not allow unbelief to override the benefits of our covenant.

Our covenant with FATHER is perfect because HE is perfect!

Full Trust

November 15th, 2020

Paul wrote by THE SPIRIT in Ephesians chapter 5:

1 Be imitators of God in everything you do, for then you will represent Your Father as His beloved Sons and Daughters. 2 And continue to walk surrendered to the extravagant Love of Christ, for He surrendered His Life as a sacrifice for us. His great Love for us was pleasing to God, like an aroma of adoration—a sweet healing fragrance.

If we couldn’t truly imitate Our Heavenly Father in everything we do, we would not be instructed to do the impossible.  This is how we represent HIM as Sons and Daughters.  I suggest a daily assessment of how well each of walked in this manner.

A key aspect of this walk is a continued surrender to the extravagant Love of Christ which was fully pleasing to FATHER.  The greater the revelation of My Heavenly Father, the greater my walk will reflect HIM.

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Romans chapter 12:

1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, Holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

As we allow our mindsets to be changed to the full acceptance of a Loving Heavenly Father, we will take down any walls of protection that were built in the past.  Those walls were built out of fear, uncertainty, and doubt but HIS Love can and will remove those walls as we allow HIS Love to be shed abroad in our hearts.

I don’t need to protect myself from MY Creator.  After all, HE knows everything about me already.  I must shift my mindset to full trust IN HIM.  I cannot allow anything to stand in the way from my full trust and reliance of FATHER for HE has my best interest at heart… at all times.

This message is simple- place your full trust in Our Loving Heavenly Father!

Unhooking Our Past Associations- Part 3

November 13th, 2020

Jesus spoke the following in John chapter 10:

11 I am the Good Shepherd who lays down My life as a sacrifice for the sheep. 12–13 But the worker who serves only for wages is not a real shepherd. Because he has no heart for the sheep he will run away and abandon them when he sees the wolf coming. And then the wolf mauls the sheep, drags them off, and scatters them.

Jesus differentiates Himself from a “hireling” who does not have the flock’s best interest at heart.  The hireling is in it for the money and will bolt when danger comes to the door.  He will run away and abandon the flock.  How sad!  This is in contrast to Agape Love and FATHER’S commitment to the sheep.  Jesus and FATHER have the same heart for the sheep as He openly conveys in the following passage:

14 “I alone am the Good Shepherd, and I know those whose hearts are Mine, for they recognize Me and know Me, 15 just as My Father knows My heart and I know My Father’s heart. I am ready to give My life for the sheep.

Jesus has a full commitment to you and me, without exception.

16 “And I have other sheep that I will gather which are not of this Jewish flock. And I, their Shepherd, must lead them too, and they will follow Me and listen to My voice. And I will join them all into one flock with one Shepherd.

This includes you and me.  It started with the Jewish flock but we were adopted into the flock where we will remain forever.  His Word is unconditional as His Love is.  What a blessing!

17 “The Father has an intense Love for Me because I freely give My own life—to raise it up again. 18 I surrender My own life, and no one has the power to take My life from me. I have the authority to lay it down and the power to take it back again. This is the destiny My Father has set before Me.”

This is how safe we are because Jesus takes care of the wolves for us.  This is part of our Covenant which needs to be enforced.

How do we please FATHER?  It is written by The Holy Spirit in Hebrews chapter 11:

6 And without faith living within us it would be impossible to please God. For we come to God in faith knowing that HE is real and that HE rewards the faith of those who give all their passion and strength into seeking HIM.

We are to give all our passion and strength into seeking HIM every day, not just occasionally as it is convenient.  How passionate are you?  Are you willing to once and for all disconnect from past associations which have no future?  This includes any covenant and/or agreement with unrighteous associations.  They must be expressed as being null and void.

I had to remove associations with those who I found to be fraudulent in their business dealings even though they presented themselves as faithful believers.  As we press into FATHER’S perfect plan for us, HE will expose those unrighteous associations which were hidden by the adversary for years.

Jesus spoke in Matthew chapter 18:

5 “And anyone who welcomes a little child like this on My behalf is welcoming Me. 6 But if you cause one of these little ones who trusts in Me to fall into sin, it would be better for you to have a large millstone tied around your neck and be drowned in the depths of the sea.

7 “What sorrow awaits the world, because it tempts people to sin. Temptations are inevitable, but what sorrow awaits the person who does the tempting.

Abortion, sex trafficking, and kidnapping are all included in the judgment Jesus spoke about when He threatened those who adversely affect His children.

We are to have childlike faith as one who trusts in Jesus.  Without trust, it is impossible to please GOD for trust and faith are synonymous.  Jesus spoke in Luke chapter 18:

15 One day some parents brought their little children to Jesus so He could touch and bless them. But when the disciples saw this, they scolded the parents for bothering Him.

16 Then Jesus called for the children and said to the disciples, “Let the children come to Me. Don’t stop them! For the Kingdom of God belongs to those who are like these children. 17 I tell you the Truth, anyone who doesn’t receive the Kingdom of God like a child will never enter it.”

We are to have childlike faith when it comes to belonging to The Kingdom.  We should have no reluctance in accepting GOD as Our Father Who Loves us with unconditional acceptance.

Our childlike faith and trust are hindered when we are still dealing with past associations adversely affecting our mindsets.  They must be fully unlinked in order to fully embrace that childlike faith in Our Heavenly Father.

Unhooking Our Past Associations- Part 2

November 12th, 2020

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Romans chapter 8:

12 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors—not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh. 13 For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. 14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. 15 For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.” 16 The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, 17 and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.

You and I have received the Spirit of adoption thus we now have a Superior Heavenly Father to any earthly father.  Why focus on past earthly father figures anymore?  Was your earthly father flawless?  Mine wasn’t “by a long shot”.  Some of you never knew your earthly father thus why try to envision what it would have been like to know him?  Even the best earthly father could not get close to the standard of Our Heavenly Father who is purely motivated by Agape Love.

You and I have everything we need for life and Godliness since we have received the Spirit of adoption.  So, why aren’t we walking in it?  We need to unhook past associations which are meant to keep us from rising up to walk in the fullness of THE SPIRIT.  Every deception must be removed and the past associations must be fully unlinked.  Those roots may be pretty deep as many of us were damaged when we were little children.  Do not allow circumstances sway you from the Truth of being a Child of GOD.

Jesus spoke the following in John chapter 10:

1 “I tell you the Truth, anyone who sneaks over the wall of a sheepfold, rather than going through the gate, must surely be a thief and a robber! 2 But the one who enters through the gate is the Shepherd of the sheep. 3 The gatekeeper opens the gate for Him, and the sheep recognize His voice and come to Him. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. 4 After He has gathered His own flock, He walks ahead of them, and they follow Him because they know His voice. 5 They won’t follow a stranger; they will run from him because they don’t know his voice.”

You and I should know the Voice of Jesus.  If you are having difficulty hearing His Voice, then spend more time separated from the World’s influences.  Ask FATHER to help you be a better listener and remove anything in your spirit hindering your ability to hear.

Once this is done and you gain clarity, you will no longer be moved by those who preach another gospel.  They will become easy to recognize.

If you have seen Jesus, you have seen THE FATHER.  If you are able to hear Jesus and The Holy Spirit, you are able to hear FATHER.  HE will navigate you out of difficulty in your everyday life.  HE has done it for me countless times over the years, even when I became a little “hard of hearing”.

False teachers will mislead you resulting in you not feeling safe and secure.  These are signs of false teaching.

Jesus continues:

6 Those who heard Jesus use this illustration didn’t understand what He meant, 7 so He explained it to them: “I tell you the Truth, I am the gate for the sheep. 8 All who came before Me were thieves and robbers. But the true sheep did not listen to them. 9 Yes, I am the Gate. Those who come in through Me will be saved. They will come and go freely and will find good pastures. 10 The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.

Verse 10 provides us a barometer of where we stand in our walk.  Can Jesus achieve His purpose in your life?  He is willing, are you?  We cannot blame our past inactivity on Jesus.  Jesus is not going to the cross again for the first time was more than sufficient!  If you and I are not living a rich and satisfying life, we can’t blame Jesus.  We must look in the mirror and repent.  We must no longer allow past associations whether it be with our physical parents or other influencers dictate our relationship as Sons and Daughters of GOD.

If you want all that FATHER has for you, you must make an adjustment in your life.  You must cut those past associations which have hindered you from making such an adjustment.  Quit blaming past associations for where you are at.  Jesus is waiting on you to embrace FATHER’S Love once and for all.

You and I are not appointed to wrath so quit worrying about past associations needing recompense.  FATHER will take care of that without your help.

Unhooking Our Past Associations- Part 1

November 11th, 2020

Healing comes from Heaven thus it is Spiritual first then manifests in the physical realm.  The world would have us believe that we need to seek out the physical in order to be healed.  Isn’t this the basis of the pharmaceutical companies’ business plan and motivation for their greed?

Doctors admit they are not the healers, they are attempting to help the body heal itself.  They cannot cure anything.  Anyone who has studied human physiology in great detail understands the complexity of the various systems within the body and admits the insufficiency of science.  Why do you think that pharmaceutical commercials have so many possible side effects mentioned?  They simply don’t know the full impact of any medicine on the body.

Having said that, what is one, true solution to our healing?  It must come from the Spiritual and be transferred to the physical.  We must be willing to unlink our past associations in our minds in order to receive in the Spiritual in an unhindered fashion.  This will probably be a challenge for most of us since our minds have been bombarded with the world’s narrative of sustaining life for years.

Unless we are willing AND determined to unhook our past associations molded by the world, it will be a challenge to receive our individual healings and walk in Divine health.  When is the last time you heard much teaching on walking in Divine health?  In the western countries, worldly healthcare is the most politically-charged topic since everyone thinks they should have “affordable healthcare”.  The third-world countries simply want medical assistance in some form.

What is FATHER’S healthcare plan?  Let’s begin in Exodus chapter 15 which was written by Moses and revealed by The Holy Spirit:

22 So Moses brought Israel from the Red Sea; then they went out into the Wilderness of Shur. And they went three days in the wilderness and found no water. 23 Now when they came to Marah, they could not drink the waters of Marah, for they were bitter. Therefore the name of it was called Marah. 24 And the people complained against Moses, saying, “What shall we drink?” 25 So he cried out to the LORD, and the LORD showed him a tree. When he cast it into the waters, the waters were made sweet.

THE LORD revealed one of the aspects of HIS Agape Love- healing.  Until FATHER spoke, Moses had no idea of how to solve the bitterness of the water.  One Word of revelation changed Moses’ previous linkage with the world’s solution.  Without revelation, Moses would have surely dispatched spies to find sweet water elsewhere.

Once FATHER revealed HIMSELF as Healer and Moses performed the task, everything changed.  The Spiritual transferred Truth and revelation to the physical realm.

There HE made a statute and an ordinance for them, and there HE tested them, 26 and said, “If you diligently heed the voice of the LORD YOUR GOD and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will permit none of the diseases on you which I have allowed on the Egyptians. For I am THE LORD WHO heals you.”

27 Then they came to Elim, where there were twelve wells of water and seventy palm trees; so they camped there by the waters.

Elim has been reckoned to be 20 KM (roughly 12 miles) from Marah.  Needless to say they were in immediate need of water thus there was only one solution.

To fulfill this Word FATHER gave them at Marah, what was their responsibility?  “If you diligently heed the voice of the LORD YOUR GOD and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes” then you will enjoy Divine health.  We must be diligent and heed The Voice of THE LORD and do right in HIS sight.

Diligence, heeding, and doing right are all active words required of each of us.  The word “heed” means- to mind; to regard with care; to take notice of; to attend to; to observe.  There is nothing “casual” about heeding The Word.  FATHER will test you when HE speaks a Word requiring obedience and most of the time it will not seem convenient to your current situation.  HE wants to “unhook” you from the mindset of the world.

How many people had previously come upon the bitter waters at Marah?  How many disregarded the tree close by?  Revelation is the difference between bitter and sweet.

FATHER wants to unhook us from the past and the worldly observations which have sunk their hooks into our mindset, steering us away from fully trusting IN HIM.

Impoverished Kids Update

November 10th, 2020

We are in the midst of spiritual warfare at this time in history, possibly one of the greatest times in history.  I am firmly convinced that the revealing of FATHER through HIS Sons and Daughters is at hand and we need to be fully prepared to step into that fullness now.

On October 30 FATHER instructed me to open the “treasury” so I did.  HE indicated that the proceeds from the 2nd census (conducted in 2013) were to be distributed to the families of the impoverished kids.  The coins were converted to US dollars and the proceeds were delivered to our distribution channel.  The monthly contributions were also added to the distribution.

The children will be blessed and will not be despondent as they were in the past during this Holiday season.  Thank your for your continued faithful giving to a projects dear to FATHER’S Heart.

I believe this act of discipline and obedience will produce blessed fruit to all those involved.

Maintaining Focus

November 9th, 2020

It is critical for each of us to maintain focus lest we get off our designated path.  I must maintain focus on my calling and not allow my mind to expand my actions beyond my calling.  This is one aspect of submitting to The Holy Spirit.

Each of us has an assignment.  I must keep my focus in walking it out and not allow the world to redirect me to areas that “tweak” my interests or gifting.  For example, I have an orientation as a problem solver but I am not intended to solve every problem that comes my way.  I should submit to The Holy Spirit and only deal with problems that I am meant to solve.  I must not allow myself to focus on problems meant to be solved by someone else.  Some of those problems are meant to correct that person and must be dealt with by that person.

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Romans chapter 8:

5 Those who are motivated by the flesh only pursue what benefits themselves. But those who live by the impulses of the Holy Spirit are motivated to pursue spiritual realities. 6 For the mind-set of the flesh is death, but the mind-set controlled by the Spirit finds life and peace.

It takes pressure off when we are not busy trying to fix everyone’s problem “in the flesh”.  If I am not directed to deal with an issue, I must not take it upon myself to accept responsibility and accountability for it.  There are those who would love to get you to take on their problems when in fact they should be taking action themselves.  I would only delay the true solution if I intervened.

Jesus spoke in John chapter 5:

19 So Jesus said, “I speak to you timeless Truth. The Son is not able to do anything from Himself or through My own initiative. I only do the works that I see THE FATHER doing, for the Son does the same works as HIS FATHER.”

I must cease those works originating out of my own initiative.  This can be difficult to do when you have been required in the past to take the initiative in your job and/or home life.  Jesus saw plenty of situations needing correction yet He only responded to those people and situations specifically directed by FATHER.

20 “Because the Father Loves HIS Son so much, HE always reveals to Me everything that HE is about to do. And you will all be amazed when HE shows Me even greater works than what you’ve seen so far! 21 For just like THE FATHER has power to raise the dead, the Son will raise the dead and give life to whomever He wants.”

FATHER wants us to properly use HIS power and authority thus we must be totally sensitive to The Holy Spirit in all situations.  Every situation we encounter has a purpose and only FATHER knows the proper handling of each situation.  If we take our own initiative, we will impede the resolution.  The perfect example of this occurring is found in Matthew chapter 16:

21 From that time Jesus began to show to His disciples that He must go to Jerusalem, and suffer many things from the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised the third day.

22 Then Peter took Him aside and began to rebuke Him, saying, “Far be it from You, Lord; this shall not happen to You!”

23 But He turned and said to Peter, “Get behind Me, Satan! You are an offense to Me, for you are not mindful of the things of GOD, but the things of men.”

We must not allow ourselves to stray from the Perfect Will of FATHER thus we should consistently purpose to be “mindful of the things of GOD” and only do those things we are called to accomplish, even if they seem inconvenient.
