Our Source of Strength

Tuesday, June 20th, 2023

FATHER’S resurrection power strengthens us.

The third aspect or function of God’s resurrection power is called in the Greek ischus, which means the physical strength or ability needed to actually do His will. It’s manifested or expressed energy, being superior in the physical sense.

It is written by THE SPIRIT in Judges chapter 16:

5 The rulers of the Philistines went to her (Delilah) with a plan: “Trick Samson into telling you the secret of his great strength. Find out how we can subdue him. We’ll tie him up and make him helpless. Then each of us will give you eleven hundred pieces of silver.”

Ischus (physical power) and kratos (self-control power) often work together. God gives us the authority and the ability to choose His will (exousia and kratos) and then the ability and the strength to perform that will in our lives (ischus). He wants us to yield our natural strength and ability to Him and depend totally upon His supernatural strength to accomplish His will.

Jesus spoke in Mark chapter 12:

28  Now a certain religious scholar overheard them debating. When he saw how beautifully Jesus answered all their questions, he posed one of his own, and asked him, “Teacher, which commandment is the greatest of all?”

29 Jesus answered him, “The most important of all the commandments is this: ‘The Lord Yahweh, our God, is One!’

30 You are to Love the Lord Yahweh, your God, with a passionate heart, from the depths of your soul, with your every thought, and with all your strength. This is the great and supreme commandment.

31 And the second is this: ‘You must Love your neighbor in the same way you Love yourself.’ You will never find a greater commandment than these.”

The essence of ischus is Spirit-empowerment.

In summary, God’s resurrection power consists of three elements or aspects: His dunamis power, which gives us the spiritual strength or the Divine ability to do the impossible; His kratos might, which gives us the ability to go against our flesh and choose to do His will regardless of how we feel or what we want; and His ischus strength, which empowers our physical bodies to accomplish His will.

The power of HIS resurrection is expressed as: Spirit-source, Spirit-control, and Spirit-empowerment.  God’s resurrection power is a steady flow of energy that is not dependent upon our understanding, our emotions, or our circumstances, but simply upon our choice to believe God’s Word and then trust Him to implement His will in our lives.

In order to overcome the world, the flesh, and the devil, to proclaim the message of Christ, and to have the assurance of a place in the future Kingdom, it’s critical that we personally know the power of His resurrection which exists deep inside our hearts awaiting activation!

God’s will is that His Agape Love and His resurrection power function in every segment of our lives. Then we can become overcomers who produce “fruit” by the power of God’s Spirit and thus, are deemed worthy and fit to inherit the Millennial Kingdom.  We can see why FATHER has had me focus on and share with you the past several years.  The Key is Agape Love, first and foremost.

God’s Love in our lives is the sign that the sanctification process is in progress and that God’s Spirit is empowering us.

Jesus spoke in John chapter 13:

35 For when you demonstrate the same Love I have for you by loving one another, everyone will know that you’re My true followers.”

The Beloved Disciple understood this resurrection power through Agape Love when he wrote by The Holy Spirit in 1st John chapter 4:

17 By living in God, Love has been brought to Its full expression in us so that we may fearlessly face the day of judgment, because all that Jesus now is, so are we in this world.

To live by these three aspects of power, we must allow Love to be brought to Its full expression as Jesus showed us in His ministry.  Then we can truly declare, “As He is, so are we in this world!

The Power Of HIS Might!

Monday, June 19th, 2023

We should be walking in GOD’S Might (kratos)!

The second aspect or function of God’s resurrection power is called kratos in the Greek.  Kratos means “mastery over self, self-control or power to rein in” (like the reins of a horse). FATHER not only has given us His dunamis power—His Divine ability—to do “the impossible,” He has also given us the ability to rein in our self-life so that He can freely work in and through us.

Kratos comes from the Greek word katria, which literally means “to rein in.” God’s kratos power reins in our self-life (soulish life) and brings it into captivity so that God’s Life (from our hearts) can come forth.

Jesus spoke in Luke chapter 21:

19 By your patience possess (rein in) your souls.

In other Words:

By your patient endurance empowered by the Holy Spirit, you will gain your souls through deliverance.

Keep your souls under control so that God’s Life can come forth. Reins are often associated with our minds and with our choices. Scripture tells us we have a constant decision as to what we will choose: either “reins or cords of Love” that are held by the Lord or “reins or cords of sin” that are held by our flesh and even sometimes the enemy.

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Romans chapter 6:

12  Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in its lusts.

13 And do not present your members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin, but present yourselves to God as being alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God.

14 For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace.

Kratos means God’s Supernatural might to take what He has told us in His Word and then implement it in our lives, no matter how we feel, what we think, or what we want. When we make the faith choice to do His Will, God’s “kratos might” will rein in our self-life and accomplish that will in our lives regardless of everything else.

Kratos is power to “put off” our sin and self, and then power to “put on” Christ.

Kratos basically means “Spirit-control.”  It is the power to rein in our emotions, knowing that in God’s timing and way, He will align our feelings to match the “faith choices” we have made.  God not only gives us the emotional strength to say “not my will, but Thine,” He also aligns our feelings with the choices we have made.

Simply put, He makes us genuine.

If we are a cleansed vessel, the kratos power of God can overcome whatever our flesh desires and instead, enable us to do what God wants. FATHER has not only given us the authority to choose His will, He has also given us the power to do His will!

One of the definitions of the word power in the Old Testament is “to overcome.” It’s the Hebrew word gibbor (Strong’s #1368), which speaks of David’s “mighty men,” who were “mighty men of valor.” Regardless of how they really felt or what they wanted, they were willing to choose God’s Will and then willing to trust God to perform that Will in their lives. These mighty men were, indeed, “overcomers.”

An overcomer is simply one who is free from self to serve God. He is one who has appropriated the kratos might of the Lord in order to overcome sin, self, and the devil.

Once again, Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Ephesians chapter 3:

16 And I pray that He would unveil within you the unlimited riches of His glory and favor until supernatural strength floods your innermost being with His Divine might and explosive power.

It is written by THE SPIRIT in 2nd Samuel chapter 22:

33  God is my strength and power, And He makes my way perfect.

Three Aspects of Power Given to Us

Sunday, June 18th, 2023

There are three functions of power given to us by The Holy Spirit!

There are three aspects or functions to God’s supernatural power. In the Greek these three functions are:

1) God’s dunamis power, which we receive in our spirits when we are born again and that strengthens us spiritually,

2) His kratos might, which operates in our souls and strengthens us emotionally, and

3) His ischus strength which operates in our bodies and strengthens us physically.

These three functions are very important for us to understand because they make up the process by which God’s resurrection power works in each of our lives.  All three of these words represent some part, some function, or some aspect of God’s resurrection power. They are not the same thing at all. Together they make up the process by which God’s power works in each of our lives. However, if we don’t personally understand this process, it will be very easy to quench God’s Spirit in one of these areas and block His Life from coming forth.

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Ephesians chapter 1:

18  I pray that the light of God will illuminate the eyes of your imagination, flooding you with light, until you experience the full revelation of the hope of His calling—that is, the wealth of God’s glorious inheritances that He finds in us, His Holy ones!

19 I pray that you will continually experience the immeasurable greatness of God’s power made available to you through faith. Then your lives will be an advertisement of this immense power as it works through you! This is the mighty power

20 that was released when God raised Christ from the dead and exalted Him to the place of highest honor and supreme authority in the Heavenly realm!

It is vital that you dwell on the above passage for it reveals the reality and Truth that is in each of us even in its dormant state.  We must pursue and expect its full activation!

The first aspect of power is the word dunamis which means “Divine ability” or “Divine empowerment.” It is a source of dependable and continuous power. It is inherent power—meaning power that belongs to the essential nature of something. Dunamis almost always points to a new and higher force that has entered and is now working through us.

When we become born again, we receive God’s dunamis power in our spirits. This power cannot be released in our lives, however, until our own spirits and hearts are cleansed:

David recorded by THE SPIRIT in Psalm 51:

10 Create in me a clean heart, O God, And renew a steadfast spirit within me.

Keep creating in me a clean heart. Fill me with pure thoughts and holy desires, ready to please you.

In other words, God doesn’t give supernatural power to the “old man,” but only to the “new one.” One of the reasons we lack power in the Christian body is because we have quenched God’s Spirit in our hearts. Rather than cleanse ourselves, we often choose to follow our own self-centered ways and end up not only blocking God’s Love, but also His resurrection power.

God’s resurrection power can only grow stronger in us when our soulish man (our own self-centered thoughts, emotions, and desires) is totally submitted and yielded to God. Even though we receive God’s power in our spirit at our new birth, we’ll be unable to use it until we learn to relinquish and surrender ourselves daily.

Our Empowerment

Saturday, June 17th, 2023

The Holy Spirit empowers us!

Jesus spoke in Luke chapter 11:

13 “If imperfect parents know how to lovingly take care of their children and give them what they need, how much more will the Perfect Heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit’s fullness when his children ask Him.

In response to our original, personal invitation by The Holy Spirit, God’s Spirit of power comes into us and indwells us. At this time, He unites our spirit with His and gives us a brand-new spirit and heart. This is called “the new birth” or being “born again” or “justification.” This is the time when Christ implants His eternal Life––His Love, His Wisdom, and His power––in our spirit and heart, and we become the Temple of the Holy Spirit.

FATHER spoke and Ezekiel recorded in chapter 36:

26 “I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh (able to be obedient and responsive).”

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in 1st Corinthians chapter 3:

16  Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?

17 If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is Holy, which temple you are.

And in 1st Corinthians chapter 6:

19  Have you forgotten that your body is now the sacred temple of the Spirit of Holiness, Who lives in you? You don’t belong to yourself any longer, for the gift of God, the Holy Spirit, lives inside your sanctuary.

20 You were God’s expensive purchase, paid for with tears of blood, so by all means, then, use your body to bring glory to God!

The baptism of the Spirit is God breaking through the soulish and physical realm. It’s the beginning of our soul being subjected to our “spirit man” (our spirit). It’s God’s power to become a genuine witness of Christ, not just in our words, but also in our lives.

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in 2nd Timothy chapter 3:

1  But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come:

2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

3 unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, 4 traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,

5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!

6 For of this sort are those who creep into households and make captives of gullible women loaded down with sins, led away by various lusts,

7 always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the Truth.

Without this initial empowering, however, we will be just like believers who have a “form of godliness,” but who “deny the power within”. In other words, they know the Scriptures in their heads, but they don’t allow the power of God to come forth and transform their lives.

And further, Paul wrote in Ephesians chapter 5:

18  And don’t get drunk with wine, which is rebellion; instead be filled continually with the Holy Spirit.

After we have been indwelt and empowered by God’s resurrection power, we must daily be refilled with His Spirit of power from the inside out  It is now our responsibility (our choice) to stay cleansed and sanctified, so we can be refilled and empowered. This does not happen automatically. It is God’s will, but it is our choice whether or not we do it.

It is imperative that we not stop at the first step of salvation—our justification—but that we go on to the next phase, which is our sanctification. “If we live in the Spirit [if we are born-again], [we must learn to] also walk in the Spirit”.  It’s the Spirit of Christ’s resurrection power that not only renews our minds and transforms our lives, but also enables us to walk by His Spirit.

The Spirit brings us to Christ and gives us His Life, then He empowers us to reflect Him in all we do. Our job, then, is to stay cleansed and filled so we can be empowered.  The excellency of the power must be of God and not ourselves.  FATHER promises us that in the end, He will raise us up by this same power as He did Christ.

Christ is the Perfect Example

Friday, June 16th, 2023

Christ is the Perfect Example of the manifestation of God’s power!

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in 2nd Corinthians chapter 4:

7 We are like common clay jars that carry this glorious treasure within, so that this immeasurable power will be seen as God’s, not ours.

Christ not only came to save us, but also to reveal His Life in us. He has given us the Holy Spirit of Power to do just that. God’s purpose is that we might first personally experience His imparted Life and then pass it along to others.

Paul also wrote by The Holy Spirit in 2nd Corinthians chapter 13:

4  For although Jesus was crucified as a “weakling,” now He lives robed with God’s power. And we also are “weak ones” in our co-crucifixion with Him, but now we live in God’s triumphant power together with Him, which is demonstrated on your behalf.

5 Now your souls will be strengthened and healed if you hold steadfast to your faith. Haven’t you already experienced Jesus Christ Himself living in you? If not, you are deficient.

6 I hope you understand that we cannot be devalued.

Those of us who depend upon this power, partake of it, share it, and allow it to produce fruit are the people who not only will be able to enter into the Millennial Kingdom, but also to rule and reign there.

Luke recorded by THE SPIRIT in Luke chapter 4:

14 Then Jesus, armed with the Holy Spirit’s power, returned to Galilee, and His fame spread throughout the region.

36  Great astonishment swept over the people, and they said among themselves, “What kind of man is this who has such power and authority? With a mere word, he commands demons to come out, and they obey him!”

And in Acts chapter 10:

38  “Jesus of Nazareth was anointed by God with the Holy Spirit and with great power. He did wonderful things for others and Divinely healed all who were under the tyranny of the devil, for God had anointed Him.

You and I are anointed to do not only the same acts, but greater acts as spoken by Jesus Himself.  He lived His entire life on earth depending upon this power.  The Holy Spirit empowered Him to do all His miraculous acts and the Resurrection was the supreme manifestation of that power.

The Lord first passed along this resurrection power to His disciples in order that they might accomplish the work He called them to do.  Christ then passed this same Life-giving power on to us. This endowment took place at Pentecost when the Holy Spirit came upon thousands of believers and bestowed upon them a new and Divine power (Acts 2:1-4).

Peter affirmed this magnificent Truth when he recorded by The Holy Spirit in 2nd Peter chapter 1:

Everything we could ever need for life and Godliness has already been deposited in us by His Divine power. For all this was lavished upon us through the rich experience of knowing Him Who has called us by name and invited us to come to Him through a glorious manifestation of His goodness.

4 As a result of this, He has given you magnificent promises that are beyond all price, so that through the power of these tremendous promises we can experience partnership with the Divine Nature, by which you have escaped the corrupt desires that are of the world.

Our responsibility is to learn to walk by His Spirit of power, not our flesh. A true disciple can only minister in the power of the Spirit, just as Jesus did. The Holy Spirit must always be The Power Source of our lives, or everything we do will end up being “wood, hay, and stubble”.

The Purpose Of GOD’S Power

Thursday, June 15th, 2023

What is the purpose of God’s power in our lives?

The purpose of God’s power in our lives is to come alongside us and help us learn three things:

1) how to be sanctified,

2) how to partake of Christ’s Life, and

3) how to become those overcomers (faithful ones) who bear righteous fruit.

Peter wrote by The Holy Spirit in 1st Peter chapter 1:

5  Through our faith, the mighty power of God constantly guards us until our full salvation is ready to be revealed in the last time.

His power not only gives us a new spirit when we are born again, but His power also produces a transformed life through the sanctification process.

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Ephesians chapter 3:

14  So I kneel humbly in awe before the Father of our Lord Jesus, the Messiah,

15 the perfect Father of every father and child in heaven and on the earth.

16 And I pray that He would unveil within you the unlimited riches of his glory and favor until supernatural strength floods your innermost being with His Divine might and explosive power.

“Unveiling” means that it is already there!  Our innermost being can and should be operating in HIS Divine might and power.

17 Then, by constantly using your faith, the Life of Christ will be released deep inside you, and the resting place of his Love will become the very source and root of your life.

Walking in Agape Love is essential to walking in HIS Power.

18-19 Then you will be empowered to discover what every Holy one experiences—the great magnitude of the astonishing Love of Christ in all Its dimensions. How deeply intimate and far-reaching is His Love! How enduring and inclusive It is! Endless Love beyond measurement that transcends our understanding—this extravagant Love pours into you until you are filled to overflowing with the fullness of God!

20 Never doubt God’s mighty power to work in you and accomplish all this. He will achieve infinitely more than your greatest request, your most unbelievable dream, and exceed your wildest imagination! He will outdo them all, for His miraculous power constantly energizes you.

Fear not!  Doubt not!  His power enables us to do what His Word demands.  The Holy Spirit is the Enabler, the Executor, and the Implementor of God’s will being accomplished in our lives. Our responsibility is simply to make the choice to let Him do so! It’s really a partnership. We offer our bodies as a “living sacrifice,” God then fills us with His Spirit and accomplishes His will through us

Paul also wrote by The Holy Spirit in Romans chapter 12:

1  Beloved friends, what should be our proper response to God’s marvelous mercies? To surrender yourselves to God to be His Sacred, living sacrifices. And live in Holiness, experiencing all that delights His Heart. For this becomes your genuine expression of worship.

2 Stop imitating the ideals and opinions of the culture around you, but be inwardly transformed by the Holy Spirit through a total reformation of how you think. This will empower you to discern God’s will as you live a beautiful life, satisfying and perfect in His Eyes.

The people who depend upon this power, partake of it, share it, and allow it to produce fruit are the people who not only will be able to enter into the Millennial Kingdom, but also to rule and reign there as well.

Christ is our Perfect Example!  As the son of man, He lived His life on earth depending upon this power.  The Holy Spirit empowered Him to do all His miraculous acts.  As a result, He nullified the power of the devil and freed those held in bondage.  We are meant to do the same with the power we have been given, and to give ALL the glory to Jesus Christ.

FATHER’S Unrivaled Power

Wednesday, June 14th, 2023

God is unequaled in power.  He has no rivals!

Our Lord God Almighty sustains everything in the universe by His Hand of power. In other words, all He has to do is speak His will and His power will then accomplish it (Psalm 33:9). For example, He formed the mountains by His power. He divided the seas by His power. He divided the light from the darkness by His power (Genesis 1:4). He created man by His power (Genesis 1:26). And He will quicken the dead and call them to life by His power (Romans 4:17).

Jude wrote by The Holy Spirit:

25 to the only God our Savior, through our Lord Jesus Christ, be endless glory and majesty, great power and authority—from before HE created time, now, and throughout all the ages of eternity. Amen!

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Hebrews chapter 1:

3 The Son is the dazzling radiance of God’s splendor, the exact expression of God’s True Nature—His mirror Image! He holds the universe together and expands it by the mighty power of His spoken Word. He accomplished for us the complete cleansing of sins, and then took his seat on the highest Throne at the Right Hand of the Majestic One.

Therefore, GOD is the source of all power!

Jesus spoke in Matthew chapter 28:

18 Then Jesus came close to them and said, “All authority of the universe has been given to Me.”

When Jesus walked the earth, the Romans were in control of Jerusalem, an occupying army.  Yet Jesus did nothing to confront them.  Why?  Their occupation was not the issue, men’s hearts were!

Paul wrote by the revelation given to him by The Holy Spirit and Jesus Christ Himself in Romans chapter 13:

1  Every person must submit to and support the authorities over him. For there can be no authority in the universe except by God’s appointment, which means that every authority that exists has been instituted by God.

2 So to resist authority is to resist the Divine order of God, which results in severe consequences.

3 For civil authorities don’t intimidate those who are doing good, but those who are doing evil. So do what is right and you’ll never need to fear those in authority. They will commend you for your good citizenship.

The zealots were disappointed when Jesus did not confront the Romans who occupied Israel.  He had a high calling that they failed to see until His resurrection.  We must resist the temptation to challenge the current political situation with soulish motivations.  The enemy wants to redirect our focus away from our individual callings.

Moses wrote by THE SPIRIT in Deuteronomy chapter 8:

18 “And you shall remember the LORD your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.”

Wealth not only means finances but also includes other resources such as strength, ability, efficiency, etc.  It allows us to overpower any obstacle confronting us, attempting to prevent our success in our calling.

An excellent example of performing the impossible is the story of Abraham and Sarah who were well past their child-bearing years.  What was FATHER’S reply?

Moses recorded by THE SPIRIT in Genesis chapter 18:

14 Is anything too hard for the LORD? At the appointed time I will return to you, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.”

And Luke recorded by The Holy Spirit in chapter 1:

37   “For with God nothing will be impossible.”

Do you really believe that nothing is impossible for Our Heavenly Father?  If you do, then it is not HIS lack of power when we are not overcoming obstacles, it is ours.  It is clear we are missing something as overcomers.

There are hundreds of examples of God’s power in action.  Christianity is simply the manifestation of Divine power in the presence of human weakness.

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Philippians chapter 3:

10 that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death,

In other Words:

And I continually long to know the wonders of Jesus and to experience the overflowing power of His resurrection already working in me. I will be One with Him in his sufferings and become like him in his death.

We already have this power resident in us as believers.  The issue is how to access this power for His Glory!

The Fruit of the Partaker

Tuesday, June 13th, 2023

What should be the result of being a partaker and living Christ’s Life in you?

Once we die to self, then God’s Life—His Thoughts and His Love— can come forth and produce “fruit.” This is called “walking or being led by the Spirit” and can only occur when we are cleansed and sanctified vessels.  The moment-by-moment surrender of our self-life will empower us to become cleansed vessels producing fruit.  As long as we don’t quench THE SPIRIT, we will move upward and onward.

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Philippians chapter 1:

9  And this I pray, that your Love may abound still more and more in knowledge and all discernment,

10 that you may approve the things that are excellent, that you may be sincere and without offense till the Day of Christ,

11 being filled with the fruits of righteousness which are by Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.

The Greek word for fruit is karpos (Strong’s #2590), which means “that which is produced by the Spirit of God in us.”  Fruit comes from sanctification, through deliverance from a life of sin and self, and the subsequent filling and empowering of the Holy Spirit.  Our work is our fruit, and our fruit is the product of our lives.

Jesus spoke in John chapter 15:

1  “I am the True Vine, and My Father is the Vinedresser.

2 Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit.

3 You are already clean because of the Word which I have spoken to you.

4 Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the Vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.

5 “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.

6 If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned.

7 If you abide in Me, and My Words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.

8 By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples.

Keep in mind that the word “abide” denotes “life-union”.  Agape Love is the pure motivation for bearing fruit.  Agape is an unconditional, one-sided, and freeing Love, in contrast to human love, which is conditional, and two-sided, meaning it must be returned in order to be kept alive.

Jesus also spoke in John 13:

35  For when you demonstrate the same Love I have for you by Loving one another, everyone will know that you’re My true followers.”

In order to truly embrace the message of Agape, we must personally know how much God Loves us. Only then will we be able to totally relinquish our lives back to Him and trust Him not only with our present circumstances, but also with our future.  Why do you think FATHER has had me write three books on Agape Love?  It was not only for my benefit but yours as well.

You can now download this book from Amazon for 99 cents (the minimum):

The essence of Agape Love is the giving of ourselves for another. Jesus did this for us and this is the example He has left for us to follow. “Greater Love has no man but to lay his life down for his friend” (John 15:13). Love is not only essential for this life, but it is also the criteria for ruling and reigning with Christ in the future Kingdom.

An Appropriate Poem

Monday, June 12th, 2023

My Captain

Out of the night that dazzles me,

Bright as the sun from pole to pole,

I thank the God I know to be

For Christ the conqueror of my soul.

Since His the sway of circumstance,

I would not wince nor cry aloud.

Under that rule which men call chance

My head with joy is humbly bowed.

Beyond this place of sin and tears

That life with Him! And His the aid,

Despite the menace of the years,

Keeps, and shall keep me, unafraid.

I have no fear, though strait the gate,

He cleared from punishment the scroll.

Christ is the Master of my fate,

Christ is the Captain of my soul.

Make The Exchange

Monday, June 12th, 2023

Are you ready to die to “self” and rise up to living Christ’s Life in you?

Jesus spoke in Matthew chapter 16:

24  Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If you truly want to follow Me, you should at once completely reject and disown your own life (die to self). And you must be willing to share My cross and experience it as your own, as you continually surrender to My ways.

25 For if you choose self-sacrifice and lose your lives for My glory, you will continually discover true Life. But if you choose to keep your lives for yourselves, you will forfeit what you try to keep.

26 For even if you were to gain all the wealth and power of this world—at the cost of your own life—what good would that be? And what could be more valuable to you than your own soul?

27 I, the Son of Man, will one day return with My messengers and in the splendor and majesty of My Father. And then I will reward each person according to what they have done.

Notice that Jesus said, “What you have done”, not “Who you are”.

When our self-life is replaced with Christ’s Life, it is called “the exchanged life,” “the shared life,” or “the imparted life.” We must exchange our love for His Love.

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Ephesians chapter 3:

17  Then, by constantly using your faith, the Life of Christ will be released deep inside you, and the resting place of His Love will become the very Source and Root of your life.

As we become partakers OF Christ, we exchange our wisdom for His Wisdom, our strength for His strength, our faith for His strength, our joy for His joy, our peace, etc. It is Christ’s Eternal Life, but because we are open and cleansed vessels, we can now partake of It, share It, and live It.

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Galatians chapter 2:

20  I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the Life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who Loved me and gave Himself for me.

In other Words:

My old identity has been co-crucified with Christ and no longer lives. And now the essence of this new Life is no longer mine, for the Anointed One lives His Life through me—we live in union as one! My new life is empowered by the faith of the Son of God Who Loves me so much that He gave Himself for me, dispensing His Life into mine!

We are like common clay jars that carry this Glorious Treasure within, so that this immeasurable power will be seen as God’s, not ours.

This exchange of life, however, does not happen automatically. In order to live Christ’s Life, we must not only be cleansed vessels (sanctified), but we must also have childlike faith. By faith, we choose to give God our hurts, our bitterness, our insecurities, our unforgiveness (any self-life that has quenched His Spirit in us) and in exchange, He gives us His Life—His power and His Love.

Jesus spoke in John chapter 12:

25“The person who loves his life and pampers himself will miss true Life! But the one who detaches his life from this world and abandons himself to Me, will find true Life and enjoy it forever!

26 If you want to be My disciple, follow Me and you will go where I am going. And if you truly follow me as My disciple, the Father will shower His favor upon your life.”

It is your choice!
