A Result of Communion

Tuesday, December 12th, 2017

The topic of Melchizedek is not for the dull of hearing but it is evident to me FATHER wants us to focus on this area once again.  Each morning HE imparts to me by HIS SPIRIT what is to be written and I simply respond and proceed to write.

It is written in Hebrews chapter 5:

8 though He (Jesus) was a Son, yet He learned obedience by the things which He suffered.

9 And having been perfected, He became the author of eternal salvation to all who obey Him,

10 called by God as High Priest “according to the order of Melchizedek,”

11 of whom we have much to say, and hard to explain, since you have become dull of hearing.

We are given a warning concerning the revelation of Melchizedek because Hebrews chapters 5 through 7 will be misconstrued by many who do not have ears to hear.  This warning tells us there is a very important Truth given to those who are willing to hear and respond by their actions.  The immature will be offended in some manner or they simply will have no comprehension of the importance of the revelation to be gleaned from these chapters.  A revelation is established in our life by walking in it by faith rather than simply acknowledging it.

The first communion took place in Genesis chapter 14 between Melchizedek and Abraham and that day set the stage for Abraham to be blessed with a son, the one aspect of his life which was lacking.  He had given a tithe of all he had and FATHER responded to his prayer by assuring him of a son.

By THE SPIRIT it is written in Hebrews chapter 7:

1 For this Melchizedek, king of Salem, priest of the Most High God, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings and blessed him,

2 to whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all, first being translated “king of righteousness,” and then also king of Salem, meaning “king of peace,”

3 without father, without mother, without genealogy, having neither beginning of days nor end of life, but made like the Son of God, remains a priest continually.

When we partake of communion with understanding rather than simply as a ritual or custom, we establish a closer relationship with FATHER and HIS Son Our Lord Jesus Christ.  We acknowledge WHO is greater in our life by receiving His Body and His Blood thus acknowledging Jesus Christ as being preeminent in our being.

4 Now consider how great this man was, to whom even the patriarch Abraham gave a tenth of the spoils.

When Abraham received communion, his response was to give as an acknowledgment of the righteousness and peace received from the blessing.  Abraham did not have to be coerced into giving, it was in his heart to cheerfully give.  By this response, we know how important the act of taking this first communion was in Abraham’s life.  The King of Righteousness (blood) and Peace (body) remains our High Priest today.

5 And indeed those who are of the sons of Levi, who receive the priesthood, have a commandment to receive tithes from the people according to the law, that is, from their brethren, though they have come from the loins of Abraham;

6 but he whose genealogy is not derived from them received tithes from Abraham and blessed him who had the promises.

7 Now beyond all contradiction the lesser is blessed by the better.

It is emphasized beyond all question, contradiction, or rebellion, the blessing received is greater than the tithe given.  When we acknowledge the preeminence of Jesus Christ by receiving His Body and His Blood in our life through Holy Communion, we will not be hesitant to give out of our abundance.  You can rationalize away this Truth but it does not change its veracity.  Those who rationalize why they do not need to give have a major hurdle to overcome in order to mature in Christ.  Paul wrote by THE SPIRIT in 1 Timothy chapter 6:

6 Now godliness with contentment is great gain.

7 For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.

8 And having food and clothing, with these we shall be content.

9 But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and harmful lusts which drown men in destruction and perdition.

10 For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

Greed promotes destruction and departure from faith and when faith grows cold Holy Communion is compromised in its Divine Intent.  When we take Communion we are meant to exercise our faith in this Holy act being a blessing to us.  If in response we don’t have the desire to become a blessing ourselves, there is something lacking and we need further revelation.  Does FATHER need our tithes or offerings?  Of course not.  So why did HE establish the need to give?  This issue reveals what is in man’s heart whether we like it or not.

Even though I know some who read this might be offended because of discussing giving, would you rather me omit an important aspect of Communion?  Paul who is writing by THE SPIRIT does not mince words when it comes to the subtleness of greed.  Let not greed keep us from the blessing given by “The Greater”.  In Hebrews chapter 7:

24 But He, because He continues forever, has an unchangeable priesthood.

25 Therefore He is also able to save (sōzō) to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.

You may recall sōzō means to save, keep safe and sound, to rescue from danger or destruction, save from injury or peril, to save a suffering one (from perishing), i.e. one suffering from disease, to make well, heal, restore to health.  When we take communion exalting Our High Priest Jesus Christ, His greater blessing includes saving us from all aspects of destruction.  If you truly believe this, what would be your response?  You should be tithing not out of obligation or fear but rather out of revelation else the blessings are hindered.  Blessings are a result of communion and let us not restrict the blessings in any manner.

The Benefits Of Serving

Monday, December 11th, 2017

FATHER spoke in Exodus 23:

25 “So you shall serve the LORD your God, and He will bless your bread and your water. And I will take sickness away from the midst of you.

26 No one shall suffer miscarriage or be barren in your land; I will fulfill the number of your days.”

A servant serves out of duty whereas a son serves FATHER out of Agape Love.  As I willingly and joyfully serve FATHER, HE is pleased and blesses me with provision and takes sickness away from my midst (inward parts: physical, mind, and emotion).  FATHER also promised I would not be barren or suffer a miscarriage thus a son would come forth.  Let us view this beyond a physical promise to a woman but let us consider the Spiritual nature of this promise of bringing forth a Son of GOD within each of us.  When The Word is implanted in our spirits and grows to full term then we become HIS son and become known to HIM as one of the “Sons of GOD”.

It has been determined that Abraham was eighty-three when he had communion with Melchizedek in Genesis chapter 14:

18 Then Melchizedek king of Salem brought out bread and wine; he was the priest of God Most High.

19 And he blessed him and said: “Blessed be Abram of God Most High, Possessor of heaven and earth;

20 And blessed be God Most High, Who has delivered your enemies into your hand.” And he gave him a tithe of all.

Abraham gave tithes out of joy and gratitude, not out of duty.  Why?  Because the communion with Melchizedek brought a peace that was greater than Abraham had known.  Consider that the word “king” denotes master and peace denotes fullness, completeness, no lack, no issue, no sickness, no disease, total restoration.  The Master of Peace restored Abraham in a manner beyond expectation when he took communion.  In the very next chapter after communion FATHER speaks to Abraham:

1 After these things the word of the LORD came to Abram in a vision, saying, “Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your exceedingly great reward.”

2 But Abram said, “Lord GOD, what will You give me, seeing I go childless, and the heir of my house is Eliezer of Damascus?”

3 Then Abram said, “Look, You have given me no offspring; indeed one born in my house is my heir!”

4 And behold, the word of the LORD came to him, saying, “This one shall not be your heir, but one who will come from your own body shall be your heir.”

Immediately after communion FATHER declares to Abraham that HE is Abraham’s shield WHO protects him from his enemies.  In addition, FATHER is his exceedingly great reward!  The one thing missing in Abraham’s life was a son because Sarah was barren.  One of the blessings of communion is restoration of the body and Abraham sought restoration for both Sarah and him and FATHER assured him that his restoration was assured.  By faith Abraham had relations with Sarah expecting the promise of a son to be fulfilled.  Abraham remained steadfast in the promise for sixteen years when Sarah conceived their son of promise.  Abraham was 99 years old when Isaac was conceived.

When we joyfully and willingly serve FATHER then HE is our our shield and our exceedingly great reward.  FATHER will defend us against those who wish us harm and bless us as we fulfill our calling, serving HIM according to HIS Divine purpose.  HE will enable us to overcome the obstacles set before us and as we remain steadfast IN HIM, our faith increases to the point of being great faith.  Whether restoration is manifested instantaneously or over a period of sixteen years, it does not matter to us as we remain steadfast and trust in FATHER.  We will then express praise and gratitude similar to Psalm 100:

1 Make a joyful shout to the LORD, all you lands!

2 Serve the LORD with gladness; Come before His presence with singing.

3 Know that the LORD, He is God; It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves;

We are His people and the sheep of His pasture.

4 Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise.

Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.

5 For the LORD is good; His mercy is everlasting, And His truth endures to all generations.

The Darkness Before Deliverance

Sunday, December 10th, 2017

The Children of Israel were in utter and complete bondage to Pharaoh doing back-braking labor making brick every day.  They cried out to THE LORD and HE prepared Moses to deliver them.  In Exodus chapter 4 FATHER gave Moses supernatural signs as a confirmation of his calling.  His rod was turned into a serpent then reverted back to the rod and his hand became leprous when he placed it under his cloak.  When inserted the second time it returned to normal.  If there was still unbelief among the elders of the children of Israel, FATHER gave Moses a third sign of turning water into blood.  Moses was fully equipped to deal with Pharaoh.

When FATHER sent Moses to Pharaoh the first time it became worse for children of Israel.  It is written by THE SPIRIT in Exodus chapter 5:

4 Then the king of Egypt said to them, “Moses and Aaron, why do you take the people from their work? Get back to your labor.”

5 And Pharaoh said, “Look, the people of the land are many now, and you make them rest from their labor!”

6 So the same day Pharaoh commanded the taskmasters of the people and their officers, saying,

7 “You shall no longer give the people straw to make brick as before. Let them go and gather straw for themselves.

8 And you shall lay on them the quota of bricks which they made before. You shall not reduce it. For they are idle; therefore they cry out, saying, ‘Let us go and sacrifice to our God.’

9 Let more work be laid on the men, that they may labor in it, and let them not regard false words.”

Don’t be surprised if things look worse in the natural before your deliverance comes forth because FATHER requires us to respond in faith when confronting the growing darkness.  The devil will use all his resources to weaken our faith in FATHER’S Word to us.  The back-breaking work surely caused feebleness among the people and we can rightly assume they had poor diets as well.  Their faith would be tested multiple times before their deliverance until the first born of Egypt would lose their lives.

Once FATHER had the children of Israel sacrifice the Lamb on their behalf, their deliverance manifested.  They ate the Lamb until It was fully consumed and placed Its blood on their doorposts and lintel, similar to a depiction of the cross.  The ate of the Lamb so that when they departed there would be none sick among them.  All were healed of their infirmities so that they could quickly depart their captivity.  Before departure they were instructed in Exodus chapter 12:

11 And thus you shall eat it: with a belt on your waist, your sandals on your feet, and your staff in your hand. So you shall eat it in haste. It is the LORD’s Passover.

FATHER instructed them by faith to prepare for imminent departure even though in the natural they were at their darkest moment.  Just before their deliverance, death would hover them yet the Blood protected them that night.  What would have happened if they gave up one day early?  The enemy would have succeeded in foiling their deliverance.  Likewise, let us not give up in receiving deliverance.

David dealt with similar adversities yet he had faith in FATHER to deliver him from his enemies.  By THE SPIRIT it is written in Psalm 35:

17 Lord, how long will You look on?

Rescue me from their destructions, My precious life from the lions.

18 I will give You thanks in the great assembly; I will praise You among many people.

And in Psalm 13:

1 How long, O LORD? Will You forget me forever?

How long will You hide Your face from me?

2 How long shall I take counsel in my soul, Having sorrow in my heart daily?

How long will my enemy be exalted over me?

But later in Psalm 13:

5 But I have trusted in Your mercy; My heart shall rejoice in Your salvation.

6 I will sing to the LORD, Because He has dealt bountifully with me.

Sometimes our humanity asks FATHER “How long?” but let us remain steadfast in faith.  Paul wrote by THE SPIRIT in Romans chapter 8:

28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose

You and I are called according to HIS purpose or we would not be sharing this writing.  Let us continue in unwavering faith no matter how dark things look but let us sing to THE LORD and express our trust in HIS mercy.  Let us rejoice in our salvation and magnify HIS Name above all we see and hear for our deliverance is drawing near.

No Doubt

Saturday, December 9th, 2017

By THE SPIRIT James wrote in chapter 1:

2 My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials,

3 knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience.

4 But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.

5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.

6 But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind.

7 For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord;

8 he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.

We must not let ourselves be double-minded because in that state our prayers will no longer be effective and produce any desired results.  Double-mindedness comes when faith is diluted by doubt and James gives us a stern warning about this condition.  FATHER and HIS Word must become preeminent in our lives and above our five physical senses.  Our senses provide us information about the natural whereas faith operates in the supernatural or above the natural.  Each of us must decide which realm will be the final authority because you cannot have it both ways.

In Matthew chapter 21 it is written by THE SPIRIT for our instruction:

18 Now in the morning, as He returned to the city, He was hungry.

19 And seeing a fig tree by the road, He came to it and found nothing on it but leaves, and said to it, “Let no fruit grow on you ever again.” Immediately the fig tree withered away.

20 And when the disciples saw it, they marveled, saying, “How did the fig tree wither away so soon?”

21 So Jesus answered and said to them, “Assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but also if you say to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ it will be done.

22 And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.”

Asking and believing in the present results in receiving when there is no doubt affecting your believing.  Doubt calls into question the veracity of FATHER’S Word in one’s mind and arises by allowing the senses to dispute the Truth of The Word.  When our physical senses cause us to give the natural preeminence in our lives, we doubt the Spiritual.  The battle for preeminence occurs in our minds and that is why James uses the term “double-minded”.  The issue is not external but instead it is between our ears.

What we constantly expose our mind to will determine what position we take- spiritual or natural.  When confronted by the devil attempting to create doubt with logic, reasoning, and focusing on the natural, Jesus responded each time “It is written” thus He was not moved by the natural.  We too must learn to respond in the same manner, doubting not.

Traditions of man are also a problem to walking in faith.  Jesus spoke in Mark chapter 7:

5 Then the Pharisees and scribes asked Him, “Why do Your disciples not walk according to the tradition of the elders, but eat bread with unwashed hands?”

6 He answered and said to them, “Well did Isaiah prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is written:

‘This people honors Me with their lips, But their heart is far from Me.

7 And in vain they worship Me, Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.’

8 For laying aside the commandment of God, you hold the tradition of men—the washing of pitchers and cups, and many other such things you do.”

The result of their traditions:

13 making the word of God of no effect through your tradition which you have handed down. And many such things you do.”

As we focus on FATHER, Our Lord Jesus Christ, and The Most Holy Spirit for WHO THEY ARE rather than what THEY can do, our faith will grow and our doubt will disintegrate.  Our confidence will grow strong in FATER’S Word because we truly know HIM for WHO HE IS.  When we magnify FATHER in our lives HE becomes preeminent and our faith is energized.  David had this revelation as he wrote by THE SPIRIT in Psalm 34:

2 My soul shall make its boast in the LORD;

The humble shall hear of it and be glad.

3 Oh, magnify the LORD with me, And let us exalt His name together.

4 I sought the LORD, and He heard me, And delivered me from all my fears.

5 They looked to Him and were radiant, And their faces were not ashamed.

6 This poor man cried out, and the LORD heard him, And saved him out of all his troubles.

Sickness Is Spiritual

Friday, December 8th, 2017

Sickness is a spiritual issue just as sin is a spiritual issue and we should not judge others who become sick or diseased.  We should not point to their diets, lack of exercise, or any other failure to take care of their bodies.  The body is designed to heal itself and live forever, simply look at Adam and his offspring until spiritual death finally took hold on their bodies.  Our spirit is the highest level of our existence and impacts our soul and our body, in that order.  If our spirit is without revelation then our mind and body will reflect that state in our actions and health.

Jesus spoke in Luke chapter 7 to a sinful woman who weeping ministered to Him with an alabaster flask of fragrant oil:

50 Then He said to the woman, “Your faith has saved (sōzō) you. Go in peace.”

Jesus spoke in Mark chapter 5 to the woman with the issue of blood:

34 And He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well (sōzō). Go in peace, and be healed of your affliction.”

In Mark chapter 6:

56 Wherever He entered, into villages, cities, or the country, they laid the sick in the marketplaces, and begged Him that they might just touch the hem of His garment. And as many as touched Him were made well (sōzō).

The word sōzō means to save, keep safe and sound, to rescue from danger or destruction; to save a suffering one (from perishing), i.e. one suffering from disease, to make well, heal, restore to health.  The issue in each case was resolved by the person exercising faith, not by a certain diet, supplement, or exercise regimen.  I encourage us all to diet, exercise and take supplements as FATHER directs but we must not lose sight of how sickness and disease are resolved at their root cause.

Every one of us must deal with our own spiritual weakness no matter how we are viewed by others.  Our egos would have us project ourselves being strong and fully matured in all areas yet each of us has weaknesses which must be resolved.  There are times in my life when I was full of faith in the area of healing but then over time I would no longer focus on those promises and my body would take on sickness or disease requiring me to once again focus on those same promises of healing.  I allowed myself to get lax in specific areas of the Promises of FATHER until my body finally responded to my spirit being “void” again.

What steps do I take when I get sick?  I go back to The Word and once again immerse myself in the healing Scriptures because I know that I have become spiritually weak in that area.  The simple Truth is found in Romans chapter 10 where Paul wrote by THE SPIRIT:

17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Jesus tells us that our faith will make us sōzō.  By immersing ourselves in FATHER’S Word, we build our faith up in our spirit then our body responds.  FATHER’S Word has the power of healing in it so we must by faith receive HIS Word and receive healing.  As we spend time in HIS Word, doubt and unbelief are purged from our spirit and we then produce good fruit in our body.  Our fruit or lack thereof are good indicators of our spiritual state in the various areas of our life.  Jesus spent much time in communion with FATHER during His ministry.  If He found it needful, so should we.

Jesus did not judge those who were sick but instead had compassion toward them and his desire was to heal all who were sick and afflicted no matter what state they were in.  The woman with the issue of blood had seen the doctors of her time and she spent all of her money trying to get healed.  In the end it was her faith in The Word that healed her.  Anything which promotes sickness, disease, destruction, or death has at its roots a spiritual issue.  I have no issue receiving pain relief by a doctor while I am focusing on dealing with my spiritual issue.  I want to minimize the focus on the problem so that I can concentrate on the solution found in the revelation of FATHER’S Word.

As we properly align our spiritual man with the Living Word, our minds and bodies will respond and be healed.  We must build up and exercise our faith in the area of our weakness to the point where we know our prayer is immediately answered in the spirit and no longer are we moved by what we are seeing or feeling.  Jesus spoke in Mark chapter 11:

24 Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.

Pray, believe, and receive are all in present tense.  As we exercise our faith in the present, our request made known to FATHER is answered in the present so let us believe HIM now and not consider the temporal as defining the result of our prayer.

Does FATHER Want You Well?

Thursday, December 7th, 2017

Does Our Heavenly want us to live a healthy life?  The answer is yes and even more so than an earthly father and mother wants the best for their child.  By THE SPIRIT Luke wrote in chapter 11:

11 If a son asks for bread from any father among you, will he give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent instead of a fish?

12 Or if he asks for an egg, will he offer him a scorpion?

13 If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!”

None of us can fathom the Love FATHER has for us and HE simply tells us to ask in faith, doubting not.  Faith, trust, and belief are all related when it comes to receiving from FATHER.  If there is any issue in receiving we must conclude  it has to do with us and our current state.  FATHER does not change but on the other hand we need to change when we are not walking according to HIS promises.  I have come to embrace change in my life rather than try to defend why I am lacking in some area casting the blame elsewhere.  Isaiah wrote by THE SPIRIT in chapter 53:

4 Surely He has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows;

Yet we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted.

5 But He was wounded for our transgressions,

He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him,

And by His stripes we are healed.

6 All we like sheep have gone astray; We have turned, every one, to his own way;

And the LORD has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.

FATHER likens us to sheep who have gone astray, going our own way based on our mind, will, and emotions.  Our ego causes us to believe men who use soulish means to convince us to accept their doctrines which depart from the Truth in FATHER’S Word.  We will then read Scripture with embedded bias causing us to err in our understanding.  This is one reason for all the different dominations in every city.  In John chapter 10 Jesus speaks:

11 “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep.”

Jesus Who fully reflects FATHER’S Will gives His life for us in all areas just as the shepherd gives his life to protect his sheep from the wolves.  Sheep are incapable of protecting themselves without the shepherd and this metaphor is most appropriate in all areas of our life.  The shepherd represents unconditional Love for his sheep just as Jesus represents unconditional Love for us.  He took on stripes so that we would be healed of sickness and disease.  He took on the cross to enable us to be fully reconciled to FATHER.

Every word and action by Jesus is intended to make us whole in all areas of our lives and His actions and words were all directed by FATHER for our specific benefit.  We should take the opportunity to receive the fullness of FATHER’S Word in every area of our life so that we will fully mature and become overcomers of the world.  I must allow HIS Word to become greater in me than the logic and reasoning of my mind.  My eyes see failure of men in the area of sickness and disease thus my mind wants to view this as acceptable yet The Word tells me otherwise.  FATHER wants me to accept HIS Word and not my observation which is temporary by nature.  I am determined to stand on HIS Word and not my own understanding based on logic and reasoning.  I only have to look at past failures of my logic to convince me WHO I should follow.

As for me, I will follow the Good Shepherd WHO leads me to still waters and WHO heals and restores me in all areas of my life, my body included.  Join me in exalting OUR LORD above all else and let THE LORD be magnified in our individual lives above all we see and hear in this world.

Our Focus

Wednesday, December 6th, 2017

Where is our focus- on the problem or on the true solution?  When we are sick or have contracted a disease, the medical community is trained to treat the symptoms hoping to resolve the problem.  They treat the body even though the problem could be impacted by the spiritual, mental, or emotional states of the patient.  Their goal is relief and reduction of symptoms.  However the body is designed to heal itself so if they can help the immune system in some way, the body will begin healing.  Our Heavenly Father has a superior means of healing thus HE sent HIS Son to show us “The Way”.

FATHER does not just treat symptoms, HE removes the source of the problem thus we need to focus on HIS solution.  Don’t get me wrong, if you are currently being treated a doctor you should continue until your healing is complete.  If you are healed of the sickness or disease quicker and better than the doctor expected then you have a documented testimony.  The beloved disciple wrote in 1 John chapter 2:

1 My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.

2 And He Himself is the propitiation (atoning sacrifice) for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world.

In the above passage THE SPIRIT states “Jesus IS” not “Jesus was”.  Jesus continues to intercede on our behalf in all areas thus our requests made known to FATHER do not fall on deaf ears but FATHER sees us through the Blood of Christ and we are fully acceptable in HIS sight.  In HIS great grace and mercy, FATHER is Our Healer because HE Loves us unconditionally.  We don’t have to perform in order to receive healing other than believe HIM and doubt not in our hearts.  I find that doubt is the biggest hindrance to receiving from FATHER.  When reading the Gospels we find that Jesus never withheld healing but always healed when the recipients were willing.  In Acts chapter 3 it is written by THE SPIRIT:

1 Now Peter and John went up together to the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour.

2 And a certain man lame from his mother’s womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms from those who entered the temple;

3 who, seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple, asked for alms.

4 And fixing his eyes on him, with John, Peter said, “Look at us.”

5 So he gave them his attention, expecting to receive something from them.

6 Then Peter said, “Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.”

7 And he took him by the right hand and lifted him up, and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.

8 So he, leaping up, stood and walked and entered the temple with them—walking, leaping, and praising God.

This man had a birth defect and never expected to walk but he also did not expect to meet up with the disciples who now had the revelation of healing.  The revelation contained in name of Jesus Christ has the power and authority to heal any issue confronting us just as that same power healed the lame man.  Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8).   Peter had to change the focus of the lame man before he could receive his healing.  We too must change our focus and look to our High Priest Who is the manifested Healer representing the Love of FATHER toward us.

The ONE WHO formed us in the womb knows every particle of our makeup and knows how all of them should function together in a normal fashion.  Who better to look to for our healing and health.  Vitamins are good but they don’t heal us.  Technology is also good but it doesn’t heal us and we should not idolize either in hope of being healed.  Men can create idols and begin to place their trust in the created rather than placing their focus on The True Healer.  This is why Jesus never healed people in a manner where men could take the focus away from The Healer by developing a formula for healing.  It is written by THE SPIRIT in Matthew chapter 13:

54 When He had come to His own country, He taught them in their synagogue, so that they were astonished and said, “Where did this Man get this wisdom and these mighty works?

55 Is this not the carpenter’s son? Is not His mother called Mary? And His brothers James, Joses, Simon, and Judas?

56 And His sisters, are they not all with us? Where then did this Man get all these things?”

57 So they were offended at Him. But Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honor except in his own country and in his own house.”

58 Now He did not do many mighty works there because of their unbelief.

We must not allow logic and reasoning to divert the focus away from Our Healer for it produces unbelief of the Spiritual power and authority.  As we properly direct our focus on the true Source of healing our faith will grow and replace the unbelief which is keeping us from fully accepting the healing power manifested through Jesus Christ.  Jesus preached The Word then healed the people.  Let us receive HIS Word and be healed in the same manner.

We Shall See Him As He Is

Tuesday, December 5th, 2017

The Beloved Disciple wrote by THE SPIRIT in 1st John chapter 3:

1 Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God!  Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him.

2 Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is.

3 And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.

As we focus on becoming like Jesus we become more pure to the point of being pure.  Every spot and wrinkle is removed as we become like Him.  Do we dare believe and accept this Truth to the point of it becoming a reality in our life?  As for me, I am willing to pursue this level of purity until it is fully manifested in me and I encourage you to do the same.  What can be more important than this priority?  My life is based on the acceptance of the Truths revealed to me in Scripture and the good fruit have testified of this reality.

You may ask how I am able to write daily concerning the various Truths found in Scripture?  It is only by HIS SPIRIT in me and my willingness to listen to FATHER am I able to write in this fashion.  These writings minister life to me on a daily basis and I trust they impact you in the same manner.  I see my life improve with each writing and FATHER reveals certain aspects in my life needing correction but HE does it in a Loving manner.  The more time I spend with HIM, the more I become like His Son.  The impurities are being revealed and removed in areas I had not considered in the past.  Like the pealing of an onion, every issue is being brought to the surface and is being dealt with.

As we align our spirit, soul, and body with Jesus Christ we become like Him.  As a result we place our trust in His Blood and His Body when we take Holy Communion to resolve any issues in our body.  In the Revelation of Jesus Christ John the Beloved Disciple wrote by The Spirit:

10 Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, “Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down.

11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.

As FATHER responds to our needs, we develop testimonies to be shared with those whom we encounter.  It is important to openly share what FATHER is doing through His Son Jesus Christ in our lives.  Our full salvation of spirit, soul, and body come forth as we become pure in our hearts for our mind and body will respond as well.  In the blood of Jesus Christ is the power of Divine Life and this is why we must not take Holy Communion lightly.  The soulish man would convince us that it is just a tradition and we are obligated to be compliant.   Traditions are the enemies of revelation.

Adam was in a pure state until his transgression and it took years for his body to respond to death.  FATHER’S Breath of Divine Life had sustained Adam in a pure state but it quickly departed at the separation.  Jesus reversed the curse and we should expect to be fully restored by Jesus’ perfect and acceptable Blood sacrifice.  Men would try to convince us we are pursuing the unachievable but who are we going to listen to- man or Our Heavenly Father?  I can personally testify that The Word works in my life and as a result no one can convince me otherwise.  Our soul would attempt to compromise us in our commitment to walk by The Word if we allow logic and reasoning to dilute the revelation contained in The Word.

Are you willing to believe the Gospels and Epistles to be totally true?  Do you believe in miracles and Divine healing?  I do and I have experience in both areas thus you cannot convince me otherwise and this is the “word of my testimony”.  The Blood of The Lamb and Jesus’ Body is greater than any obstacle you and I will face.  The world cannot understand us because those in the world are blinded to the revelation of Jesus Christ.  As their hearts are pricked and are led to find out why we are full of Love, joy, and peace then FATHER will open their eyes to the extremely Good News of Jesus Christ.  In Matthew chapter 5 Jesus stated unequivocally:

8 Blessed are the pure in heart,  for they shall see God.

The fact that He stated this Truth means it is attainable thus we can have a pure heart and we shall see FATHER.  Why would Jesus make that statement otherwise?  He told us out of Love what we can attain as we fully commit ourselves to Him and our FATHER through His Blood.  It is attainable as we overcome the soulish man and begin our walk in THE SPIRIT.  With Love perfecting us we shall see Him as He is and then as John wrote in chapter 4 verse 17 “As He is so are we”.

We Are Members

Monday, December 4th, 2017

Paul wrote by THE SPIRIT in Ephesians chapter 5:

29 For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as the Lord does the church.

30 For we are members of His body, of His flesh and of His bones.

31 “For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.”

32 This is a great mystery, but I speak concerning Christ and the church.

33 Nevertheless let each one of you in particular so love his own wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband.

Is there any man who wants sickness or disease in his body?  What would I do to rid myself of sickness or disease and return my body to peace and health?  Do I seek to have a headache, backache, or a life-threatening disease?  Absolutely not!  Do I try to inflict excruciating pain on my body?  No way!  I want my body to be completely healthy and able to do whatever my heart desires.  I love my body and want to walk in the wholeness and perfect design as FATHER ordained when HE formed me in the womb.  HIS Love is fully manifested when I am returned to HIS perfect design.

Each of us cherishes his or her own flesh and we all nourish our flesh with whatever resources we have available to us according to the revelation we have.  Many look to men who have come up with various formulas for staying healthy but FATHER made each of us unique thus one formula does not fit all.  As I seek to be one with FATHER, HE leads me to a more healthy state.  As I increase in the revelation of Love, all aspects of my being will rise to a higher and healthier state until I truly attain the reality “As Jesus is so am I”.

In the above passage, Jesus clearly Loves His Body as Himself and we are His Body.  We are to become One with Him so the question is “Does each of us conform to His state of complete health or does He conform to our state of health?”.  There is no question that each of us will submit to His state of Divine health.  In addition each of us will walk according to THE SPIRIT and produce good and desirable fruit of The Holy Spirit: love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Gal 5:22-23).

Jesus has prayed and declared that we be one with Him.  The Beloved Disciple wrote by THE SPIRIT in John chapter 17:

20 “I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word;

21 that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me.

22 And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one:

23 I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.”

Consider and ponder this prayer.  If there is any prayer FATHER would answer, it is the prayer of HIS Son whom HE sent.  This prayer is the expressed intent of Jesus declaring us to be His Body and His desire for us to embrace being One with Him.  The disciples have testified of Jesus Christ as written in the New Testament and you and I have believed their testimony with our hearts and our confession.  We are therefore included in His prayer to FATHER and should embrace the results of this prayer.  FATHER is not reluctant to answer the prayer of HIS Son so we know it has been fulfilled and manifested.  Let each of us accept the fullness of this prayer in our individual walks.

Love wants to share.  In 1978 I was sent to Hawaii for business but my wife could not join me because she was pregnant and could not fly.  I realized on that trip that even though I was in one of the most beautiful places on earth, if I did not have my wife to share it with me, it simply was not the same when viewing it alone.  That Truth and reality made an indelible mark on my life.  How much more is Jesus’ desire to have us experience His Divine life while walking out our individual callings!

FATHER saw that Adam should not experience life without a wife so how much more should Jesus have a bride to experience His life.  As true Love is manifested between husband and wife, there is a peace beyond understanding when they are in total unity.  The flesh is the outward expression of what is on the inside and bone is the structure maintaining stability and enables the flesh to accomplish the desires of the heart.  Paul wrote by THE SPIRIT in 1 Corinthians chapter 6:

19 Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?

20 For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.

Let us accept the Truth we are able to glorify FATHER in our bodies as well as our spirits.  Let us express the reality we are members of His Body knowing that all spots and wrinkles are being removed so that we are becoming a glorious body.  This Truth is greater than sickness and disease which are temporary by nature.  This Truth will overcome any and all issues as we fully accept this Truth above all our trials for we are truly members of the Body of Christ!

Be Of Good Cheer

Sunday, December 3rd, 2017

By THE SPIRIT it is written in Matthew chapter 14:

22 Immediately Jesus made His disciples get into the boat and go before Him to the other side, while He sent the multitudes away.

23 And when He had sent the multitudes away, He went up on the mountain by Himself to pray. Now when evening came, He was alone there.

24 But the boat was now in the middle of the sea, tossed by the waves, for the wind was contrary.

25 Now in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went to them, walking on the sea.

26 And when the disciples saw Him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, “It is a ghost!” And they cried out for fear.

27 But immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying, “Be of good cheer! It is I; do not be afraid.”

The disciples were in the middle of the sea at night yet Jesus could see them albeit supernaturally.  The sea is also a metaphor for humanity (the sea of humanity as in the Book of Revelation depicting carnal mankind until full restoration comes forth producing peace becoming the sea of glass).  The disciples were afraid they were going to die by drowning thus they were gripped with fear.  The phrase “It is I” is also translated “I am” and they were told not to be afraid because “I am” is here for Jesus and THE FATHER are One. “Don’t be afraid, I Am.”  Jesus also told the disciples to be of good cheer or be of good courage for they were not going to die in the middle of the sea.  The word courage means to have strength in the face of adversity of any type.  We see Peter responding to “I am”:

28 And Peter answered Him and said, “Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water.”

29 So He said, “Come.” And when Peter had come down out of the boat, he walked on the water to go to Jesus.

30 But when he saw that the wind was boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink he cried out, saying, “Lord, save me!”

31 And immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and caught him, and said to him, “O you of little faith, why did you doubt?”

32 And when they got into the boat, the wind ceased.

33 Then those who were in the boat came and worshiped Him, saying, “Truly You are the Son of God.”

We need to be of good courage for the Son of FATHER is with us as we deal with the contrariness of the times which are intended to strike fear in our hearts.  FATHER WHO is the Great I AM is on our side so who can truly stand against us!  Our faith grows by hearing The Word and as we are no longer of little faith but instead of great and mighty faith, we will truly be able to walk on water as the need arises.  Jesus kept Peter from sinking and helped him back into the boat thus both were able to walk back to the boat together.  Jesus will carry our weight if need be until our faith can sustain us above the contrary and boisterous waves.

We must not forget that Peter successfully walked on the water while his eyes were fixed on Jesus.  It wasn’t until he took his eyes off of Jesus, looked away, and allow fear to enter in did he begin to sink.  As we look to our Intercessor we will be able to walk above the adverse cares of the world too.  Once it fully sinks in that “As He is so are we” each of us will finally overcome any and all adversity in our life.  Fear will no longer be able to enter in and take precedence as we fix our gaze upon Our High Priest.  When we have fully received the revelation “As He is so am I” in our hearts, we will be able to walk above the adversities just as Jesus walked on the boisterous sea.
