10   Now HE who provides seed for the sower and bread for food will provide and multiply your seed for sowing [that is, your resources] and increase the harvest of your righteousness [which shows itself in active goodness, kindness, and love].

11   You will be enriched in every way so that you may be generous, and this [generosity, administered] through us is producing thanksgiving to God [from those who benefit].

12   For the ministry of this service (offering) is not only supplying the needs of the saints (God’s people), but is also overflowing through many expressions of thanksgiving to God.

13   Because of this act of ministry, they will glorify God for your obedience to the gospel of Christ which you confess, as well as for your generous participation [in this gift] for them and for all [the other believers in need],

14   and they also long for you while they pray on your behalf, because of the surpassing measure of God’s grace [His undeserved favor, mercy, and blessing which is revealed] in you.

15   Now thanks be to God for His indescribable gift [which is precious beyond words]!  AMPL

Psalm 112:9 is referenced above and it is a blessing to read and reflect on the entire Psalm.

My wife and I have followed the intent of this passage for years and can attest to FATHER’S willingness to provide not only for us but to those whom we help in their time of need.  Even when it seemed as though times were getting to be financially challenging, HE would always provide for us.

Do you think FATHER does anything sparingly?  Not at all.  FATHER is not a GOD of scarcity but is ONE of abundance.  However, HE will not fund unrighteousness and promote the activities of such a path.  HE is very efficient in providing us with complete sufficiency in whatever we are called to do in HIS Name.

When men hoard, they begin to sow sparingly, no matter what their station in life may be.  We must not take on the mindset of scarcity else we will restrict the coming harvest in our lives.  This spiritual principle defies man’s logic thus we must not allow our minds to intervene when The Holy Spirit is instructing us to give.  Our mindset is meant to be on a path of consistent growth IN HIM and any other path will cause us to become less effective for the Kingdom.  FATHER will always find someone to work through to minister to those in need, let it be you and me.  Our responsibility is to do what we are called to do in an excellent manner whether it is to clean toilets or administer a large entity.  Let HIS Glory shine through by our willingness to go the extra mile and at the same time be cheerful about it!

KJV Genesis 29:33 And she conceived again, and bore a son; and said, “Because the LORD hath heard that I was hated, he hath therefore given me this son also.” And she called his name Simeon.

The saga of Leah, the first wife to Jacob, is a story of a woman (soul?) wounded by the knowledge that the man that married her did not do so out of love for her. When considering the ‘un-love’ that haunted Leah, the names of the six sons she bore to Jacob become more telling. The names of the sons of Jacob, born to four different women, present to us a progression of spiritual understanding, and a journey to an intended destination in Christ. Why did Jacob have four ‘wives’? What is this pageant revealing to us? The first step on our journey to Christ is to become aware that there is, indeed, a son to recognize, and then to pursue. The first step on this journey to Christ is Reuben; behold you, a son.

As a side note, how interesting that we learn in Gen. 2:10 that a river (the River of Life in the heaven of New Jerusalem?) was sent forth from Eden to water (to provide drink for?) the garden setting, and from there that river parted and became four ‘heads’. Why four?! Should we assume that this garden setting, and the parable/pageant of these four rivers (heads), is referring to literal water; to H2O? The Hebrew word for water does not show up in any of  these verses. Compare Psalm 36:8. The word translated as ‘pleasures’ in this verse is the exact same word translated as ‘Eden’ in Gen. 2:8. Hmmmmmmmm!

Most of us, throughout our lives, have begun our learning by seeing with our natural senses; faces and activities and events, etc. But we rarely understand what we are ‘seeing’ when first we observe something new to us. We most often rely on our natural senses to impart information that allows us to learn and grow. Hearing is also a very powerful sense in our arsenal, and coupled with seeing, is a primary source of information for enhancing access to the world that we experience. In Gen. Chapter 2 we are told that there is a ‘tree of knowledge’ in the garden which YHWH caused to grow, and ‘adam’ is warned to avoid eating from the ‘tree of knowledge’, for it also is “…pleasant to the sight,” [Gen. 3:6] The knowledge provided to us through our natural senses can be often misleading, and destructive. Things are not always what they seem.

Leah conceived a second time, and declared that the LORD had ‘heard’ about her being ‘hated’, and thus rewarded her with being able to conceive a second child for Jacob. Leah, whose ‘god’ was Yahweh, attributed her ability to getting pregnant to the idea that Yahweh, or the LORD, ‘saw’ her plight and ‘heard’ about her misery. In the narrative of Leah, Yahweh rewarded her with pregnancy because she was ‘hated’. And remember, the first son of Leah was named Reuben because Leah declared that YHWH had ‘seen’ that she was hated. When she delivered a second son for Jacob, she proclaimed that her second son was a gift to her because the LORD had ‘heard’ that she was ‘hated’. And so she declared the name of this second son to be Simeon; or more accurately stated, ‘Hearing’. The Hebrew word we translate ‘Simeon’ is not the past tense idea of having heard, but is actually describing the continual on-going process of ‘hearing’.

For once you have ‘seen’ that there is a ‘son’, the next step in the journey is accomplished by ‘hearing’. As a foot note, the pronunciation of this name as ‘Simeon’ has been ‘gentilized’; the more accurate pronunciation of the word should be ‘Shim-oen ’. We won’t take that rabbit trail here, but it is of significance.

One of the most sacred and quoted verses in all of Judaism, Deuteronomy 6:4, is called “The Sham-mah”. NKJ Deuteronomy 6:4 “Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one!” The first Hebrew word in this verse is ‘sham-mah’ (Strong’s # H8085), and is very often translated into English as ‘hear’. This Hebrew word is used prolifically throughout the Old Testament, and is also translated as ‘understand’, ‘hearken’, ‘listen’, ‘obey’, and numerous other ways that indicate the necessity to pay attention and heed what is being revealed through ‘hearing’. This word ‘sham-mah’ is also the word that the name ‘Simeon’ is based upon. Leah was proclaiming that because YHWH, or the LORD, heard and understood her plight, she was rewarded with the privilege of bearing another son for Jacob. I find this in itself very revealing.

In Genesis Chapter Three we have the story of Adam and ‘his wife’ encountering interaction with ‘the serpent’ in the garden, and consequently falling from the realm of innocence that ‘the garden’ represented, and ultimately the vulnerable experience of feeling naked and exposed. NKJ Gen. 3:8 “And they heard the sound of LORD God walking in the garden in the cool (spirit) of the day…” Chapter three of Genesis is introducing us to the concept of ‘hearing’ voices and sounds that influence us, and the consequences that accompany the responses to what we ‘hear’. Verse ten tells us “I heard (sham-mah) your voice (sound of you) in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked;” The response from the LORD was, “Who told you that you are naked?” with the implication being “who or what have you been ‘hearing’?” Have you been entertaining ‘sounds’ that cannot be relied upon, or trusted?

Simeon is all about ‘hearing’. However, what we ‘hear’ is rarely, if ever, clearly understood by the ‘hearer’. Because we hear by natural senses, much of what we hear becomes distraction and confusion. Only by Spirit Discernment can we properly understand and categorize the myriad of ‘sounds’ that bombard our hearing and thinking. Only by yielding to the Holy Spirit of Truth in Love may we safely filter those ‘sounds’ that should be discarded. Some of what we ‘hear’ is very appealing, and often gratifying to the carnal appetites. But if we are ‘hearing’ spiritual poison, we will continue to walk in darkness, stumbling over the obstacles of carnal confusion.

Every ‘spirit’ that is not Christ is of ‘anti-christ’, and will always impose hindrance and impediment to Spiritual maturity. And none of us have been immune from those hindrances. NKJ Deuteronomy 18:15 “The LORD your God will raise up for you a Prophet like me from your midst, from your brethren. Him you shall hear;” KJV Luke 9:35 And there came a voice out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son: hear him.

NKJ Revelation 2:17 “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give of the hidden manna to eat. And I will give him a white stone, and on the stone a new name written which no one knows except him who receives it.”
First the natural, then the Spiritual. It seems the patterns never change.

4 Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up;

5 does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil;

6 does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth;

7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

8 Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away.

9 For we know in part and we prophesy in part.

10 But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away.

What “perfect” aspect is being discussed here?  Not prophecies, not tongues, not knowledge…  No, Love is the only characteristic mentioned as enduring all things.  Perfection comes by becoming fully mature in Agape Love.  Jesus spoke of this perfection in Matthew chapter 5 when He was instructing us on Loving our enemies:

43 “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’

44 But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you,

45 that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.

46 For if you love those who love you, what reward have you? Do not even the tax collectors do the same?

47 And if you greet your brethren only, what do you do more than others? Do not even the tax collectors do so?

48 Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.

Paul wrote by THE SPIRIT in Ephesians chapter 4:

11 And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers,

12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ,

13 till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ;

14 that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting,

15 but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ—

16 from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.

The Beloved Disciple wrote by THE SPIRIT in 1 John chapter 4:

17 Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world.

18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.

19 We love Him because He first loved us.

Each of us has the capacity to be perfect thus we should not be reluctant in our desire to be perfected.  If we were not able to mature in perfection, we would be made aware of the opportunity to excel to the point of being perfect.  Some will go on to perfection and let each of us be counted among those that do!

Let those who read this join me in one accord and pray this prayer from Acts chapter 4:

24 … We raise our voice to God with one accord and pray: “Lord, You are God, who made heaven and earth and the sea, and all that is in them,

25 who by the mouth of Your servant David have said:

​​‘​Why did the nations rage,

​​And the people plot vain things?

26 ​​The kings of the earth took their stand,

​​And the rulers were gathered together

​​Against the LORD and against His Christ.’

​27 “For truly against Your holy Servant Jesus, whom You anointed, the adversaries of Christ have gathered together

28 to do whatever Your hand and Your purpose determined before to be done.

29 Now, Lord, look on their threats, resistance, and other such oppositions, and grant to us, Your servants that with all boldness we may speak Your word,

30 by stretching out Your hand to heal, and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of Your holy Servant Jesus.”

A dear friend and devoted member of the Body of Christ asked me to give my understanding of the Hebrew word that is translated in scripture as ‘Deborah’. The following is my reply.

As you already know, ‘Deborah’, ‘Debra’, ‘Debir’, ‘Debi’, etc. are all various English expressions of the same Hebrew word, hrbd (deb-rah, see Strong’s #1700), and ‘deb-rah’ is the feminine expression of the verb rbd (dah-var, see Strong’s #1696). And the Hebrew verb ‘dah-var’ is often translated simply as ‘word’, ‘said’, ‘speech’, ‘spoke’, etc. ‘Dah-var’ is also translated many other ways, which all have to do with the Godly order that orchestrates our lives. It is also translated into English in ways that startle and confuse the religious mind.

The literal value of the verb ‘dah-var’ is in knowing that ‘dah-var’ establishes the proper order of a situation, or event or understanding. Quite simply put, ‘dah-var’ is a verb that represents ‘orderly arrangement’.   Our Father establishes ‘perfect order’ for us from which we benefit when we understand and pursue that ‘perfect order’.  That doesn’t mean that we will always, or maybe even never, succeed in understanding and performing that ‘perfect order’ in our own experiences.  But the value of ‘dah-var’ is in trusting that Our Father knows what ‘perfect order’ you need for your own personal growth and maturity.  Sometimes that ‘perfect order’ may include a period of chaos or turmoil or pain.  For most of us, sometimes that is the only way we will learn.  I can personally attest to that in my own life.  ‘dah-var’ is the perfect order for me in any given moment or situation.  It does not necessarily always have to be the same experience to always be Father’s ‘perfect order’ for re-organizing the mess I am making; or in trying to fix, with my own ‘wisdom’, the mess I have made.  The difficulty for all of us is in ‘hearing’ Father’s dah-var for us at the time we most need it.

‘Dah-var’ is the order we need for our mature walk, in and as Christ.  And please make no mistake about this; you are already the manifestation of Christ.  Christ lives in you, because Christ has been resurrected; in you, and as you.  You already are the manifestation of the resurrection of Christ.  Scripture insists that we understand that, and accept that.  We must cease comparing ourselves to the ‘Jesus’ we read about in scripture.  That is not who we are; you are you, and no one else.  You can compare yourself to no-one except the ‘you’ that existed before coming to know and accept Christ as savior and redeemer.  But that old ‘you’ has died to the demands of a carnal and lost existence, and has been resurrected into a quality of Life that has no beginning, and can have no end.  That is the Resurrection Life of Christ, and that Resurrection Life is the gift “of God”, and a gift from God.  Christ in you is God in your consciousness, your walk and your entire existence.  That is how we manifest Our Father in our lives. For Christ is the manifestation of the Father within.

Yashua told us, “My Father and I are One. I only do what I see My Father do; and I only say what I hear My Father say”.
Now; what does all of that have to do with ‘deb-rah’, ‘deb-orah’, ‘dib-rah’, etc., which are all different pronunciations and uses of the Hebrew word  hrbd?  ‘deb-rah’ is the feminine activity of manifesting ‘dah-var’ in your walk.  When we understand the ‘dah-var’, or benevolent order provided for us at any given moment, and we perform or act upon that ‘dah-var’, that action becomes feminine activity, expressing the value of the ‘dah-var’ as we best understand it, and as we are capable of performing it.  This does not indicate that we will always, and maybe even never, perfectly perform ‘deb-rah’ to our own satisfaction.  But when we are attempting to walk the walk of Christ as the Spirit leads us individually in our own adventures, that is our own ‘deb-rah’, and then “…all things work together for GOoD, to those who Love God and are called according to His purposes” [Rom. 8:28], and do not walk out our lives as if we are called to our own selfish and carnal desires and purposes.  We are all ‘deb-rah’ when we are attempting to hear and perform Our Father’s ‘dah-var’ for our lives.

There is, also, a deeper and purer and simpler expression of ‘dah-var’.  In the three-letter word ‘dah-var’, or rbd, the first letter, the ‘dalet’, represents a portal. Maybe it would help to see this word ‘dah-var’ like this: rb d.   Some like to refer to the ‘dalet’ as a door.  I much prefer the idea of ‘dalet’ as a portal, one which we may or may not determine to go through.  And the purpose of the portal in this compound word is to provide us access into the ‘bar’, or rb. The ‘bar’ is the ‘Son’, as revealed in Psalm 2:12.  “Kiss the Son,…”  The Hebrew word used in this verse, and translated as ‘son’, is ‘bar’, and represented by the two letter word of ‘beyt’ and ‘reysh’; or, rb. This two-letter word is used numerous times throughout scripture to indicate something that is pure and uncontaminated. It is also used to refer to the pure grain; corn or wheat or barley, etc., when all of the inedible or undesirable parts have been discarded.

The ‘bar’, or ‘son’, is the pure essence of the kernel of corn or wheat or barley; that which remains, and is desired and chosen as beneficial, after the chaff and husk and stalk have all been discarded.  The ‘bar’ is representative of the pure essence of the quality of Spirit Life we are desirous of, and striving to achieve.  It is that which, when consumed and identified with, provides the Spiritual nutrition and energy to continue to manifest a Christ Life via a Christ Walk.  The ‘dah-var’, as the perfect order for our walk, is also the ‘dalet’, or portal, into the understanding of ourselves as the ‘bar’; The Son.  The ‘son’ as ‘ben’, or !b is ‘built’; built up from all of the experiences and ‘learning-by-doing’ that go into making a practical and functional ‘son’, experienced in the ways of this chaotic world. However, the ‘son’ as ‘bar’ rb is representative of the purity of Spirit Life, revealed by Spiritual Revelation, and is only available as a gift, received by Faith, from Our Father.

It is written by THE SPIRIT in Hebrews chapter 2:

1   For this reason [that is, because of God’s final revelation in His Son Jesus and because of Jesus’ superiority to the angels] we must pay much closer attention than ever to the things that we have heard, so that we do not [in any way] drift away from truth.

2   For if the message given through angels [the Law given to Moses] was authentic and unalterable, and every violation and disobedient act received an appropriate penalty,

3   how will we escape [the penalty] if we ignore such a great salvation [the gospel, the new covenant]? For it was spoken at first by the Lord, and it was confirmed to us and proved authentic by those who personally heard [Him speak],

4   [and besides this evidence] God also testifying with them [confirming the message of salvation], both by signs and wonders and by various miracles [carried out by Jesus and the apostles] and by [granting to believers the] gifts of the Holy Spirit according to His own will.  AMPL

With full assurance I write these daily blogs as I am led by The Holy Spirit to and for the benefit of the Sons and Daughters of The Almighty GOD.  How can I make such a claim?  The Word changed my life, I was filled with The Holy Spirit, I have been miraculously healed, and I have been delivered from certain death five different times over the years.  What philosophy or tradition can make a similar claim?  None!  There is no one on earth who can convince me to depart from the exact Truth of The Gospel of Our Lord Jesus Christ!

There are those who have been spared such tests and trials; and I say to be thankful you have been spared.  There are also those who have suffered and have been tested in a greater manner than myself.  To them, I say hold fast to FATHER’S Word and you will be glad you did.

As we mature in Christ and His Love for mankind, our lights grow brighter and we are less moved by the tests and trials set before us.  The gifts of The Holy Spirit are meant to testify of FATHER’S Love in various and sundry manner so that we will experience restoration in whatever area which meets our individual needs.  We should no longer allow ourselves to drift away from the fullness and completeness of the Truth found in the Holy Scriptures.

Some may say that based on the wickedness they see in the the world today, GOD is no longer active or relevant and we should place our trust in technology and medical breakthroughs.  Those people have indeed drifted away from the exact Truths found only in Scripture.  I respond by proclaiming that FATHER has always retained a remnant who will not allow HIS Truth to be removed from this earth.  This issue is not a new issue as Jesus instructed us in the parable of the wheat and the tares in Matthew chapter 13:

24 Another parable He put forth to them, saying: “The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field;

25 but while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat and went his way. 26 But when the grain had sprouted and produced a crop, then the tares also appeared.

27 So the servants of the owner came and said to him, ‘Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have tares?’

28 He said to them, ‘An enemy has done this.’ The servants said to him, ‘Do you want us then to go and gather them up?’

29 But he said, ‘No, lest while you gather up the tares you also uproot the wheat with them.

30 Let both grow together until the harvest, and at the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, “First gather together the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them, but gather the wheat into my barn.” ’ ”

FATHER will not wipe out the inhabitants of the earth because of HIS Love for you and me.  HE will allow those “tares” to grow as we are maturing into fully mature Sons and Daughters.  At that point, the fiery Word of THE LORD will go forth out of our mouths and it will fully expose and will burn away the wickedness from mankind.  The Kingdom of Heaven is meant to overtake this earth and HIS Remnant will be used in the process.  We must not allow ourselves to become lukewarm and drift away in the meantime.  Let us fully embrace HIS fiery Word to purge any spot or wrinkle yet to be removed from our midst!

Luke wrote by THE SPIRIT in chapter 7:

18 Then the disciples of John reported to him concerning all these things.

19 And John, calling two of his disciples to him, sent them to Jesus, saying, “Are You the Coming One, or do we look for another?”

20 When the men had come to Him, they said, “John the Baptist has sent us to You, saying, ‘Are You the Coming One, or do we look for another?’ ”

21 And that very hour He cured many of infirmities, afflictions, and evil spirits; and to many blind He gave sight.

22 Jesus answered and said to them, “Go and tell John the things you have seen and heard: that the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, the poor have the gospel preached to them.

23 And blessed is he who is not offended because of Me.”

24 When the messengers of John had departed, He began to speak to the multitudes concerning John: “What did you go out into the wilderness to see? A reed shaken by the wind?

25 But what did you go out to see? A man clothed in soft garments? Indeed those who are gorgeously appareled and live in luxury are in kings’ courts.

26 But what did you go out to see? A prophet? Yes, I say to you, and more than a prophet. 27 This is he of whom it is written:

​​‘​Behold, I send My messenger before Your face,

​​Who will prepare Your way before You.’

​28 For I say to you, among those born of women there is not a greater prophet than John the Baptist; but he who is least in the kingdom of God is greater than he.”

Jesus Himself John the Baptist as the greatest prophet which included as the prophets of the Old Testament yet we find the need for the greatest prophet to be corrected as it is recorded in Matthew chapter 3 when Jesus spoke:

13 Then Jesus came from Galilee to John at the Jordan to be baptized by him.

14 And John tried to prevent Him, saying, “I need to be baptized by You, and are You coming to me?”

15 But Jesus answered and said to him, “Permit it to be so now, for thus it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness.” Then he allowed Him.

Even the greatest prophet of today can be wrong so we should be cautious when we read about prophetic works and prophecies made by those who have established themselves as “prophets”.  It is easy to assume that once their prophecies were right, then all their prophecies will be correct.  Why don’t we focus on hearing FATHER for ourselves since our purpose might not be affected by the latest prophecy?  If John the Baptist could “miss it”, then so can every other prophet of a lesser degree.  This is why it is imperative for each of us to establish a direct witness by The Holy Spirit about the applicability of prophecies, signs, and wonders.  Otherwise, we will be focused in the wrong area which has no bearing on our own personal development.

In Matthew chapter 5, Jesus spoke the following in the midst of His Sermon on the mount:

14 “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.

15 Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house.

16 Let your light so shine before men, (in such a way) that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.”

We are called to do good works which reflect FATHER in us rather than to exalt ourselves in the eyes of men.  This is the essence of being fruitful on behalf of Our Heavenly Father.  In John chapter 10, Jesus referenced His good works:

31 Then the Jews took up stones again to stone Him.

32 Jesus answered them, “Many good works I have shown you from My Father. For which of those works do you stone Me?”

What good works did He speak of?  When asked of John the Baptist’s disciples, Jesus responded in Matthew chapter 11:

2 And when John had heard in prison about the works of Christ, he sent two of his disciples

3 and said to Him, “Are You the Coming One, or do we look for another?”

4 Jesus answered and said to them, “Go and tell John the things which you hear and see:

5 The blind see and the lame walk; the lepers are cleansed and the deaf hear; the dead are raised up and the poor have the gospel preached to them.

6 And blessed is he who is not offended because of Me.”

Aren’t we meant to do similar good works which glorify Our Heavenly Father?  Jesus clearly stated what good works should be referred to in assuring John that He was the “Coming One” and they needed to look no further.  It is also clear that when Jesus preached, He gave FATHER the glory for the good works He performed as we see in Matthew chapter 9:

1 So He got into a boat, crossed over, and came to His own city.

2 Then behold, they brought to Him a paralytic lying on a bed. When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, “Son, be of good cheer; your sins are forgiven you.”

3 And at once some of the scribes said within themselves, “This Man blasphemes!”

4 But Jesus, knowing their thoughts, said, “Why do you think evil in your hearts?

5 For which is easier, to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven you,’ or to say, ‘Arise and walk’?

6 But that you may know that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins”—then He said to the paralytic, “Arise, take up your bed, and go to your house.”

7 And he arose and departed to his house.

8 Now when the multitudes saw it, they marveled and glorified God, who had given such power to men.

Jesus has given us a key of letting our light shine and  to bring people to the point of glorifying Our Heavenly Father.  It is by us operating in the supernatural power and authority given to us by FATHER.  The Holy Spirit is within us and the potential to operate in this power and authority is awaiting our realization and revelation that we are meant to walk according to this power (the feminine aspect as our Brother wrote this weekend).  FATHER isn’t reluctant to allow this flow to go forth, we must diligently seek The Kingdom of GOD and HIS righteousness thus allowing the flow to occur through us, not just to us.

FATHER changed Abram’s name to Abraham as it is written by THE SPIRIT in Genesis chapter 17:

1 When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the LORD appeared to Abram and said to him, “I am Almighty God; walk before Me and be blameless.

2 And I will make My covenant between Me and you, and will multiply you exceedingly.”

3 Then Abram fell on his face, and God talked with him, saying:

4 “As for Me, behold, My covenant is with you, and you shall be a father of many nations.

5 No longer shall your name be called Abram, but your name shall be Abraham; for I have made you a father of many nations.

6 I will make you exceedingly fruitful; and I will make nations of you, and kings shall come from you.

7 And I will establish My covenant between Me and you and your descendants after you in their generations, for an everlasting covenant, to be God to you and your descendants after you.”

FATHER added the fifth letter of the Hebrew alphabet to Abram’s name, transitioning from potential to action or manifestation.  The number 5 has been associated with FATHER’S grace so let us delve further into this number of action.  I requested Our Beloved Brother to expound on the fifth letter of the Hebrew alphabet recently.  His reply:

The ‘hey’, the fifth letter of the Hebrew ‘aleph-beyt’ represents ‘feminine’ activity.  Most Eastern, or ‘Oriental’ languages distinguish within their literature/spelling a feminine vs. masculine representation.  Most of the languages of Europe, Asia, Eur-Asia, etc. distinguish feminine vs. masculine within the construct of those languages.  Most of these cultures, and their perspective languages, ascended from the older Shemitic (not semitic) tongues that preserved for us most of the ‘ancient writings’, including the scriptures we refer to as The Bible. 

What most of these cultures do not do, in my opinion, is adequately distinguish the following: ‘feminine vs. masculine’ is not the same as ‘female vs. male’.  When it comes to the ‘feminine vs. masculine’ character of the scriptures, it is best to realize that ‘masculine’ represents the potential, or ability, to produce an action or activity or result.  Feminine, however, is the actual activity involved in manifesting that potential or ability. 

Having a potential is not the same as manifesting that potential.  Spirit is masculine.  Spirit provides to ‘adam’ the potential and ability to yield our thoughts, energies and/or activities to the oversight and direction of Spirit Influence; Spirit Management.  Hence, walk in the Spirit, and you will not stumble over the obstacles of carnal thinking.  Spirit provides ‘adam’ with unction, motivation and/or stimulus to incite ‘adam’ to act in a certain way, or manner.  But all ‘spirit’ influence is not benevolent.  We, in Christ, know this very well.  Actually, all ‘spirit’ influence that is not of Christ is ‘anti-christ’, and therefore most likely a negative, or at best a distraction.  Spirit represents masculine potential.

However, ‘feminine’ represents the motion, or activity of actually manifesting a potential.  To be able to walk is a masculine potential.  But walking is a feminine expression of that potential.  Activity is the feminine manifestation of a masculine, or imparted, potential.  So activity is feminine, while potential or ability is masculine.

So, what does all of that have to do with the letter ‘hey’?  When used as a prefix to a word, the letter ‘hey’ performs the function of ‘the definite article’.  A ‘hey’ prefixed to a word in Hebrew is synonymous with adding ‘the’ in an English discussion.  ‘The’ apple; ‘the’ clock; ‘the’ activity’.  In much/most of our translations, when a Hebrew word has a ‘hey’ prefix, you find in the English translation a ‘the’ describing that Hebrew word.  When ‘hey’ is added as a suffix to a word, however, it is indicative of designating this word as feminine activity. 

There are actually thousands of examples of this pattern in the scriptures to support this ‘theology’.  In the word picture used to discuss the tradition of Hebrew letters, the ‘hey’ is referred to as a ‘window’.   Jewish tradition describes ‘hey’ as being a window into heaven, through which the ‘breath of God’ flows.  Tradition also attributed that the window in the ark that Noah built as being there to allow the light and breath of God to fill the ark.  Traditions can have many Spiritual values, eh?

The Breath Covenant, to me, is a covenant established on the ability to breathe.  Only those of us that are in these physical bodies can continue to breathe.  When a body can no longer inhale and exhale, we determine that person as being dead; no longer alive.  That ‘body’ that can no longer breathe is incapable of physically manifesting the activity of the covenant.

A search of the scriptures that have the word ‘breath’ gives a vivid pattern of ‘breathing’ being a critical characteristic of those that are interacting with God while in this physical dimension.  Breath is a requirement for being able to manifest our covenant Life in God.  Many of the scriptures refer to the ‘breath of God’, or the breath of the LORD (YHWH) as being an active impartation in certain circumstances or events.  And yet we know that God is Spirit, and does not require breathing as ‘adam’ requires breathing.

NKJ John 20:22 And when He had said this, He breathed on them, and said to them, "Receive the Holy Spirit.”   To me, the significance of this verse is that it emphasizes that when Yashua ‘breathed’ upon them he was indicating that the only requirement for them to be in covenant relationship with God is the willingness to receive the Spirit of God as their own personal identity.  There simply are no other requirements imposed other than being able to breathe, and the willingness to receive the Holy Spirit as my Spirit.  To me, this completely supersedes all previous ‘covenant requirements’ imposed upon mankind by mankind.  The only original requirement for covenant between God and ‘adam’ was that ‘adam’ be able to breathe. 

Everything that has breath is a praise to the Goodness and Benevolence of God.   A striking confirmation of this, in my opinion, is in Strong’s Concordance.  The word we translate as ‘Abel’ [Gen. 4:2] is ‘hah-bel’, and is numbered by Strong’s as #1891, 1892 and 1893.  However, when you look in Strong’s Concordance to read his description of what this word represents, in Genesis chapter 4 Strong’s ‘defines’ the word every time as ‘breath’.  How odd that after Genesis chapter four, every time this word is used it is ‘defined’, or described by Strong’s as being ‘vapour’, ‘vain’, ‘vanity’, etc.  It is almost as if to say that after Genesis chapter three, all of man’s ‘breath covenant’ confidence was gone, and had to be replaced by vain and empty ‘works’ programs of varying types. 

After Genesis chapter three, the scriptures tell of animal sacrifices, blood sacrifices, meat and meal offerings, wine offerings, money offerings, etc., and all for the privilege of having confidence to come into the presence of God without being obliterated by an angry and vengeful and retaliating God.  Yashua is telling us that Our Father is not a reactionary, and not vengeful nor demanding of oblations for the privilege of “…coming boldly to the Throne of Grace”.  If you can breathe you are a candidate to manifest God.  So to breathe is a feminine activity.  And manifesting God for the benefit of others is definitely a feminine activity.

The story line of the eleven sons of Jacob is one of family squabbles, contentions, competition of jealous sisters and the dysfunction of wives, concubines and half-brothers all jostling for their place in the family order. The chaos and malfunctions of this clan is rife with events and consequential results to which many of us can relate. The very beginning of this saga begins with Jacob running away from home in fear of his life, and bumping into the girl of his dreams.  He meets Rachel, the daughter of his uncle Laban, and is smitten with her from the outset.

As the story unfolds, we discover that Jacob is persuaded to serve Uncle Laban for the privilege of marrying Rachel, and then finds that his servitude rewards him first of all the responsibility to take Leah, the older sister, as wife before he can also add Rachel to his harem. This was not what Jacob had agreed to with his uncle Laban. By the time he gets to add Rachel to his harem, Leah is well aware that she is not who Jacob wanted, and the scripture refers to Leah as ‘hated’. The Hebrew word we translate as ‘hate’ is the verb ‘sah-nay’, Strong’s #8130.

This particular word has no other relevant uses and/or associated words that I can discern. It seems to be very consistent in its use as referring to dislike, hate, reject, refuse, repel, etc. This word ‘sah-nay’ is simply synonymous with self-loathing, and self-pity.  In the relationship between Leah and Jacob, Leah felt rejected, unwanted and scorned. She felt hated. The name ‘Leah’ literally means “…to be negated”. ‘Leah’ is translated most often as ‘weary’, or ‘wearied’. Translating this word as ‘weary’ misses the point of what the word is revealing. ‘Leah’ is the feminine activity form of the two-letter word for ‘not’ (Strong’s # 3808); or more accurately, negation. And in the context of feeling or experiencing continuous ‘negation’, weary or wearied can certainly be understood. Leah, the wife of Jacob, was wearied by a heart/mind that continuously dealt with negation, or rejection. Leah undoubtedly knew that Jacob thought that he was serving Laban for the privilege of marrying Rachel. Leah knew that Jacob had been deceived by her father into accepting Leah, just so that he could have Rachel as well. Leah was well aware that Jacob’s true love was for Rachel, the younger sister.

Leah understood, all too well, the concept of negation and rejection. However, that ‘love nest’ with Rachel was producing no heir for Jacob; indeed, Rachel appeared to be barren. [Gen. 29:30-31] Consequently, when Leah finally conceived and bore a son, her response was one of vindication. Her response was “Reuben” (‘reh-oo-vein’). “Behold, a son”. KJV Genesis 29:32 And Leah conceived and bare a son, and she called his name Reuben: for she said, Surely the LORD hath looked upon my affliction; now therefore my husband will love me. “…she called his name Reuben”. The name  Reuben’, as it is spelled in the scripture in Hebrew, should be translated literally into English as “…see you; a son”. The Hebrew spelling of the name is quite significant, and tells a story to the reader that is difficult to grasp in the English language. The name ‘Reuben’, according to the scripture, was chosen and announced by Leah.

Leah was announcing her vindication as the first wife of Jacob by saying, “Look, I’ve produced a son for my husband”. She was actually taunting her younger sister, as well as everyone else. It was as if to say, ‘What have you got to show for your husband? See, I’ve produced a son”. Leah, rejected and hated and wearied, was declaring that as the first wife, she had also produced the ‘firstborn’ son. She was proclaiming to everyone “Behold, y’all! The Son”. Well, that’s how she would have said it in South Carolina. The word we translate as ‘Reuben’ comes directly from the verb ‘rah-ah’; to see. This word ‘rah- ah’ is numbered by Strong’s as H7200, and is used prolifically throughout the Old Testament.

The importance of this word ‘rah-ah’ is not of ‘seeing’ with the natural eye, but rather seeing with your understanding. To ‘rah-ah’ is to understand what is being communicated, or taught. ‘Rah-ah’ is synonymous with understanding what you are seeing, or discerning, with your natural senses; or at least thinking that you understand properly. ‘Rah-ah’ begins with the letter ‘reysh’, the 20 th letter of the Hebrew ‘aleph-beyt’ (alphabet), and represents the concept of understanding what your natural senses are detecting. The pictorial symbology of the letter ‘reysh’ is that of the head. The ‘reysh’ represents the head on our shoulders, where our brain resides. We ‘see’ throughout our entire lives with our natural senses, but rarely ever properly discern what we are beholding. Only in our understanding do we properly discern the value of what our natural senses are telling us. And only the Spirit that is Holy can provide lasting reliable understanding of what your natural senses detect. All other ‘spirits’ are deceptive, providing only confusion, doubt and fear. All other ‘spirits’, other than the Holy Spirit, produce disappointment.

Reuben was the first born son chronologically. And Leah may have thought that her son was to be the ‘firstborn’ of her family, the son to bare the birthright. But Leah was ‘discerning’ through a spirit of rejection and negation. Leah wanted vindication. Leah thought Reuben was her vindication. She wanted to establish her matriarchal role as mother of the firstborn. However, God apparently had other plans. Reuben does indeed mean “Behold, you, the Son”. She was correct in that declaration. However this son, Reuben, was not the Son Our Father wanted us to “Behold”. That was yet to come.
NKJ Matthew 3:17 And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”
