In the garden, FATHER
established boundaries with Adam and Eve for their protection. In Genesis chapter 2 it is written by THE
SPIRIT:
15 Then the LORD God took the
man and put him in the garden of Eden to tend and keep it.
16 And the LORD God commanded
the man, saying, “Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat;
17 but of the tree of the
knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it
you shall surely die.”
The boundary HE established
was for their own benefit and protection for this is the motivation of
Love. All they had to do was to stay
within the boundary of HIS command and trust HIS integrity. When we question FATHER’S Word and Love’s
motives, we allow the poison of unbelief to enter in and cause death and
destruction to take us down another path contrary to The Way.
When man chooses to cross the
boundaries that Love establishes there are consequences. Within those boundaries are peace and safety
but outside those boundaries are anxiety and scarcity. Why venture outside the boundary FATHER has
established? All it does is confirm the
unbelief in your heart.
Paul started out with
unbelief in his heart concerning Jesus being the Messiah. He was extremely intelligent and well
educated but that did not translate into revelation and understanding. In 1 Timothy chapter 1, HE wrote by THE
SPIRIT:
12 And I thank Christ Jesus
our Lord who has enabled me, because He counted me faithful, putting me into
the ministry,
13 although I was formerly a blasphemer, a persecutor, and an insolent
man; but I obtained mercy because I did it ignorantly in unbelief.
14 And the grace of our Lord
was exceedingly abundant, with faith and love which are in Christ Jesus.
15 This is a faithful saying
and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save
sinners, of whom I am chief.
16 However, for this reason I
obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might show all longsuffering, as
a pattern to those who are going to believe on Him for everlasting life.
17 Now to the King eternal,
immortal, invisible, to God who alone is wise, be honor and glory forever and
ever. Amen.
This well-educated man came
to the realization of his condition of unbelief and even realized that he was a
“chief sinner” but by FATHER’S mercy and grace, Love prevailed. Once his eyes were opened, Paul changed and
became obedient to Love’s plan. He had a
new set of boundaries to live by and was willing to endure any manmade
adversity to fulfill his part of the Love plan.
Proverbs directs us to live
in certain boundaries. If we choose to
leave those boundaries Wisdom has established, we will surely experience
hardship. We must not allow the lust of
the flesh, the lust of the eyes, or pride of life to draw us away from the
boundaries established by FATHER.
In Hebrew chapter 3, it is
written by THE SPIRIT:
12 Beware, brethren, lest
there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief in departing from the living
God;
13 but exhort one another
daily, while it is called “Today,” lest any of you be hardened through the
deceitfulness of sin.
14 For we have become
partakers of Christ if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast to the
end,
15 while it is said:
“Today, if you will hear His voice,
Do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion.”
Once you depart from the
boundary of Love, your heart is subject to becoming an “evil heart of unbelief”. These writings are to encourage you to remain
within the boundaries of Love and pursue the fruit thereof. There are acts of Love we are encouraged to
pursue so let us not resist what FATHER is urging us to do. Those acts result in seeds being planted
allowing us to produce a greater harvest.
If we sow sparingly, we reap sparingly.
If we sow within the boundaries FATHER has established, we will maximize
our harvest.
