We Are Sent

September 14th, 2018

One aspect of FATHER having me write daily it to encourage the reader to renew his or her mind.  What does that entail?  Our minds must be cleansed of past teachings of man which conflict with FATHER’S Word and Divine Intent.  Additionally, we must be enlightened in areas where we received no teaching or revelation in order to understand who we are in Christ.  A man who has been empowered but is not aware of his state will simply remain dormant and unnecessarily struggle.  Let us remove erroneous past conclusions based on our sense knowledge.

FATHER knew us before HE formed us in the womb thus we were sent at this time in history to impact the world according to HIS purpose which works in us.  No other person has your unique qualities and calling so you should not remain passive in this hurting world.  You and I have been sent for such a time as this.  Let us embrace this Truth and fulfill our walk of Love as personal representatives of Our Heavenly Father.

If we are serious about renewing our mind, reading and quoting aloud the following Scriptures will solidify our belief of being sent by FATHER just as Jesus was sent.  How appropriate that Jesus’ Words declaring He was sent by FATHER are found in nearly every chapter of the Gospel of Love, i.e., the Gospel of John.  As you read each verse below, quote it aloud and dwell on it.  This is one way to renew your mind and fully embrace the importance Jesus placed on “being sent”.  As we dwell on this Truth, we will begin to embrace the reality that we too are sent by FATHER.  We will then “know that we know” we have been sent just as our Elder Brother was sent.

The Beloved Disciple wrote by THE SPIRIT in the Gospel of John:

1:6  There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.

1:8  He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.

3:28  “You yourselves bear me witness, that I said, ‘I am not the Christ,’ but, ‘I have been sent before Him.’

3:34  “For He whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God does not give the Spirit by measure.”

4:34  Jesus said to them, “My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me, and to finish His work.”

5:23  that all should honor the Son just as they honor the Father. He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him.

Life and Judgment Are Through the Son

5:24  “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life”

5:30  I can of Myself do nothing. As I hear, I judge; and My judgment is righteous, because I do not seek My own will but the will of the Father who sent Me.

5:36  But I have a greater witness than John’s; for the works which the Father has given Me to finish—the very works that I do—bear witness of Me, that the Father has sent Me.

5:37  And the Father Himself, who sent Me, has testified of Me. You have neither heard His voice at any time, nor seen His form.

5:38  But you do not have His word abiding in you, because whom He sent, Him you do not believe.

6:29  Jesus answered and said to them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent.”

6:38  For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me.

6:39  This is the will of the Father who sent Me, that of all He has given Me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up at the last day.

6:40  And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day.”

6:44  “No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up at the last day.”

6:57  “As the living Father sent Me, and I live because of the Father, so he who feeds on Me will live because of Me.”

7:16  Jesus answered them and said, “My doctrine is not Mine, but His who sent Me.”

7:18  “He who speaks from himself seeks his own glory; but He who seeks the glory of the One who sent Him is true, and no unrighteousness is in Him.”

7:28  Then Jesus cried out, as He taught in the temple, saying, “You both know Me, and you know where I am from; and I have not come of Myself, but He who sent Me is true, whom you do not know.

7:29  But I know Him, for I am from Him, and He sent Me.”

8:16  “And yet if I do judge, My judgment is true; for I am not alone, but I am with the Father who sent Me. 17 It is also written in your law that the testimony of two men is true. 18 I am One who bears witness of Myself, and the Father who sent Me bears witness of Me.”

8:26  “I have many things to say and to judge concerning you, but He who sent Me is true; and I speak to the world those things which I heard from Him.”

8:29   “And He who sent Me is with Me. The Father has not left Me alone, for I always do those things that please Him.”

8:42  Jesus said to them, “If God were your Father, you would love Me, for I proceeded forth and came from God; nor have I come of Myself, but He sent Me.”

9: 4  “I must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day; the night is coming when no one can work.”

10:36  “Do you say of Him whom the Father sanctified and sent into the world, ‘You are blaspheming,’ because I said, ‘I am the Son of God’? 37 If I do not do the works of My Father, do not believe Me.”

11:41  Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead man was lying.  And Jesus lifted up His eyes and said, “Father, I thank You that You have heard Me. 42 And I know that You always hear Me, but because of the people who are standing by I said this, that they may believe that You sent Me.”

12:44  Then Jesus cried out and said, “He who believes in Me, believes not in Me but in Him who sent Me. 45 And he who sees Me sees Him who sent Me.”

12:49  “For I have not spoken on My own authority; but the Father who sent Me gave Me a command, what I should say and what I should speak. 50 And I know that His command is everlasting life. Therefore, whatever I speak, just as the Father has told Me, so I speak.”

13:20  “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who receives whomever I send receives Me; and he who receives Me receives Him who sent Me.”

14:24  “He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine but the Father’s who sent Me.

14:26  But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.”

15:21  “But all these things they will do to you for My name’s sake, because they do not know Him who sent Me.”

16:5  “But now I go away to Him who sent Me, and none of you asks Me, ‘Where are You going?’”

17:1  Jesus spoke these words, lifted up His eyes to heaven, and said: “Father, the hour has come. Glorify Your Son, that Your Son also may glorify You, 2 as You have given Him authority over all flesh, that He should give eternal life to as many as You have given Him. 3 And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.”

17:8  “For I have given to them the words which You have given Me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came forth from You; and they have believed that You sent Me. 9 “I pray for them. I do not pray for the world but for those whom You have given Me, for they are Yours. 10 And all Mine are Yours, and Yours are Mine, and I am glorified in them.

17:17  Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth. 18 As You sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world. 19 And for their sakes I sanctify Myself, that they also may be sanctified by the truth. 20 “I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; 21 that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me. 22 And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one”

17:25  “O righteous Father! The world has not known You, but I have known You; and these have known that You sent Me. 26 And I have declared to them Your name, and will declare it, that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them.”

20:21  So Jesus said to them again, “Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.”

The FATHER of Love sends you and me into this hurting world to minister life and Love on HIS behalf.  Let us shed any reluctance to go forth in HIS Name for HE is with us.

The Big Picture

September 13th, 2018

Every now and then, we should take a few steps back and consider the big picture.  Jesus came to minister Love to a dying world and so should we.  Isaiah wrote by THE SPIRIT in chapter 61:

1 “The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon Me, Because the LORD has anointed Me

To preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted,

To proclaim liberty to the captives, And the opening of the prison to those who are bound;

2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, And the day of vengeance of our God;

To comfort all who mourn,

3 To console those who mourn in Zion, To give them beauty for ashes,

The oil of joy for mourning, The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness;

That they may be called trees of righteousness, The planting of the LORD, that He may be glorified.”

Our Heavenly Father, Our Lord Jesus Christ, and the Most Holy Spirit are in the restoration business, motivated by pure Love.  The mature Sons and Daughters are embracing this intent as well.  The mind would like to spend time and energy on the less important in order to divert our focus from the big picture.  Shouldn’t we look for the opportunity to minister Love on a daily basis?  Shouldn’t our focus be on acts of kindness?  Shouldn’t we seek out the opportunity to minister Love to this dying world?

Matthew wrote by THE SPIRIT in chapter 4:

23 And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease among the people.

24 Then His fame went throughout all Syria; and they brought to Him all sick people who were afflicted with various diseases and torments, and those who were demon-possessed, epileptics, and paralytics; and He healed them.

25 Great multitudes followed Him—from Galilee, and from Decapolis, Jerusalem, Judea, and beyond the Jordan.

Jesus is the ultimate example of walking out the big picture.  Each of us is uniquely qualified to minister to a specific group of hurting people, even if it is only one hurting person.  We don’t have to be amazing public speakers to minister one on one.  We simply are to express FATHER’S Love and HIS Word to those who are ready to hear some great news.

We need not be Biblical experts in order to share FATHER’S Love.  If we simply focus on the Words of Jesus, we can minister life contained in those Words.  He came not to condemn the world and all those past sinful acts, He came to redeem us and transform us into FATHER’S Kingdom.  As we spend more time focused on His ministry, we will receive greater empowerment to minister.  Our boldness will even surprise us!  Let us not forget the big picture as we go about our daily affairs.  There may be a person with whom we will cross paths today who needs our ministry.  Be ready!

The Two-Fold Mandate

September 12th, 2018

Jesus spoke in Matthew chapter 10:

5 These twelve Jesus sent out and commanded them, saying: “Do not go into the way of the Gentiles, and do not enter a city of the Samaritans.

6 But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

7 And as you go, preach, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand.’

8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.

9 Provide neither gold nor silver nor copper in your money belts,

10 nor bag for your journey, nor two tunics, nor sandals, nor staffs; for a worker is worthy of his food.

11 “Now whatever city or town you enter, inquire who in it is worthy, and stay there till you go out.

12 And when you go into a household, greet it.

13 If the household is worthy, let your peace come upon it. But if it is not worthy, let your peace return to you.

14 And whoever will not receive you nor hear your words, when you depart from that house or city, shake off the dust from your feet.

15 Assuredly, I say to you, it will be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of judgment than for that city!”

Jesus imparted power and authority to the disciples went He sent them forth to minister to the lost sheep of Israel.  This particular passage contains much revelation in its simplicity.  Their message went far beyond “repent” but also included the fullness of restoration in the physical sense as well.  They were to heal the sick just as Jesus was healing the sick.  They were to cleanse the lepers and raise the dead.  Is there any record of unbelief among the disciples?  No, not at all.

Jesus also told the disciples to cast out demons.  Yes, demons existed then and they exist now.  We should not attempt to dilute Jesus’ own Words by using man’s logic and reasoning in this area of the spiritual realm.  They are legally defeated but that doesn’t mean they won’t attempt to create havoc in those who are ignorant of their devices.  We must admit that until we fully understand the spiritual realm, we must not allow ourselves to have our understanding darkened.  Throughout history, man’s logic and carnal mind have diluted The Word and made it of none effect in their lives.  Yet FATHER has always kept a remnant who have sought the deeper spiritual aspects of HIM and HIS Love resulting in the revelations contained in the Word to remain alive and effective on earth.

“Freely you have received, freely give” was a command to not monetize the power and authority given to them.  I suspect that there will be a notable level of judgment experienced by the various ministries of this generation in this regard.  The disciples were not to coerce the people for money.  However, Jesus knew that those receiving the blessings from the disciples would be quick to support them.

Those who rejected the Gospel because of their unbelief would be subject to a correction tied to the fiery Word in a later restoration.  The same is true today.  In Luke chapter 9:6 So they departed and went through the towns, preaching the gospel and healing everywhere.

Jesus made it clear that salvation and healing go hand in hand.  Most ministries of today no longer have this understanding and so they only focus on preaching salvation and exclude the healing of the body.  They have separated this two-fold aspect of the cross at the expense of those who are in need of healing.  Let us press in and allow this part of the cross to become alive and first nature within us as we minister life to those around us.  For some of us, there is much to “unlearn” and remove from our consciousness.  Let us not dilute the Words of Jesus simply because we have been taught an incomplete Gospel in the past.

Setting Our Love

September 11th, 2018

The Psalmist wrote by THE SPIRIT in chapter 91:

14 “Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him;

I will set him on high, because he has known My name.

15 He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him;

I will be with him in trouble;

I will deliver him and honor him.

16 With long life I will satisfy him,

And show him My salvation.”

When we set our Love on Our Heavenly Father, our level of protection from the enemy goes up dramatically.  I can personally testify to this reality on multiple occasions.  The spirit of death tried to attach itself to me on two different occasions while I was attending funerals.  The first time, four of us perceived what was happening right in the middle of the service.  The only thing we knew to do was to pray in tongues until the spirit departed.  This took about 15 to 20 minutes.  Initially, life was being drained from me and my wife could see it occurring.  A couple behind us perceived the issue and leaned forward to tell us they would be in agreement with us.  They prayed in tongues as well.

A few months later, I met Martin Paulat who was a well-known prophet in the Minneapolis area.  While at dinner with him and Carl Petty, I shared this story.  Before I could finish, Martin interrupted and relayed a similar event which happened to him while at a recent funeral.  The two occurrences were virtually the same.  An angel appeared to him at the funeral he was attending and said “Martin, you will live and not die.”  The spirit of death departed from him as well.  As he was sharing his story, an angel appeared in the restaurant over my left shoulder.  None of us could move and we began to glorify FATHER.  The angel spoke to Martin and said, “Bob will live and not die”, then departed.  We were clearly blessed!  FATHER affirmed HIS intervention on my behalf.

9 Because you have made the LORD, who is my refuge,

Even the Most High, your dwelling place,

10 No evil shall befall you,

Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling;

11 For He shall give His angels charge over you,

To keep you in all your ways.

12 In their hands they shall bear you up,

Lest you dash your foot against a stone.

I shared this with you to encourage you that FATHER will intervene on your behalf whenever necessary.  HE will send HIS ministering angels without hesitation on our behalf.  Had I submitted to the spirit of death, I would have died in the funeral I was attending.  However, My prayer was readily received by FATHER and the spirit of death departed.  The Holy Spirit within us will intercede on our behalf and comfort us through trials such as the one above.  When confronted with a situation where I lacked understanding, I relied on The Holy Spirit’s perfect prayer to bring forth the power from On High.

People can argue their position of angels, The Holy Spirit, tongues, and spirits of infirmity.  However, it is settled reality with me and there is no debate for I lived through the attack and know how FATHER kept me from certain death.  I have set my Love on HIM and HE has done likewise.

Created For Good Works

September 10th, 2018

Paul wrote by THE SPIRIT in Ephesians chapter 2:

1 And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins,

2 in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience,

3 among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others.

The original sin of disobedience continues to work in those who walk according to the lusts of the flesh and desires of the mind.  Those who are disobedient work against the purposes of Our Heavenly Father.  Everything they do focuses on self interest and ultimately fulfilling the lust of the flesh, often at the expense of others.  This path assures them of their downfall and destruction.  You and I know that ultimately there is an emptiness when one attempts to live by self interest.  The flesh is never satisfied and only requires more stimulation in order to achieve the same temporary result.  This is easily seen in drug addicts.  People choose death and destruction over life until they see and hear the Good News of Jesus Christ.  When their understanding is darkened, only the light of The Word can pierce this darkness.

4 But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us,

5 even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved),

6 and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,

7 that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.

8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,

9 not of works, lest anyone should boast.

10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

You and I were created for good works.  Are we walking in good works and fulfilling our purpose?  Are we ministering to others in some capacity no matter how small it may seem?  Do people perceive the Love of FATHER in us when they encounter us?  FATHER clearly states we are HIS workmanship thus we should walk with this reality in mind.  We were all at one time classified in the category of “sons of disobedience” yet by grace we were saved.  We should now embrace the reality of being “sons of obedience” and walk according to every Word from FATHER.  We are to focus on being led by The Holy Spirit in every word we speak and every action we take.

Are we producing good works or are we “undercover”, doing nothing for The Kingdom?  As for me, I am grateful to be alive at this time in history and I am thankful for the opportunity to be a positive influence in other people’s lives.  Shouldn’t we look for opportunities to be a blessing to others?  Jesus went about preaching the Gospel and healing all who we oppressed by the devil.  He didn’t sit around under a tree waiting for the world to come to Him.  Neither should we.  We were created for good works so let us embrace our purpose and produce good fruit for the Kingdom… today!  These good works will produce light to those who are living in the dark.  These seeds of good works will produce life in those who are affected and they will ultimately have the opportunity to repent and receive salvation.

Maintaining Our Expectations

September 9th, 2018

There are times when we need to be reminded of who we are in Christ so that our expectations remain firm and not allow ourselves to be discouraged because of events happening around us.  Each of us faces unique challenges but none of those challenges are unknown to Our Heavenly Father and Our Lord Jesus Christ.  Jesus is well aware of every aspect of our suffering and has made provision for our success in overcoming every challenge we encounter.

Paul wrote by THE SPIRIT in Ephesians chapter 3:

14 For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,

15 from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,

16 that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man,

17 that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love,

18 may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height—

19 to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

As our revelation of Love grows, so will the fullness of GOD within us be comprehended thus empowered.  Believers spend so much time in all other facets of the Kingdom, they tend to overlook the critical nature of being rooted and grounded in Love.  Jesus explained that faith only needs to be as a mustard seed in order to move mountains.  On the other hand, Love is the primary motivation of FATHER and as we seek to comprehend what is the width and length and depth and height of HIS Love, we will tap in to the riches of HIS Glory.

There is much upheaval expected soon in the financial, religious, and political systems.  If this happens to the degree predicted, many people will have their foundations of trust and reliance shattered.  How you and I respond will depend on our level of trust in FATHER and our foundation of Love.  There will be those of us who will be a light unto the world when their Babylonian structures fall and they lose everything.  Fear will grip their hearts when those whom they trusted are found to be in utter lawlessness.  They will turn to those who have true solutions to the problems at hand.

In Matthew chapter 7, Jesus spoke:

26 “But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand:

27 and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall.”

How many people do you know that fall into this category?  What would happen if they lost their life savings over a weekend?  FATHER continues to prepare a remnant whose foundation is Agape Love and will not be moved when Babylon comes tumbling down.  Our trust in in FATHER and HIS storehouse of riches.  In FATHER’S Kingdom there is no lack or turmoil but has a foundation of Love, peace, and joy.  We must not allow our expectations to wane because of any apparent delay but continue with our eyes fixed on HIS purpose in us.  FATHER has the timing under control.

The Heart Is The Issue

September 8th, 2018

Paul wrote by THE SPIRIT in Ephesians chapter 4:

17 This I say, therefore, and testify in the Lord, that you should no longer walk as the rest of the Gentiles walk, in the futility of their mind,

18 having their understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God, because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart;

19 who, being past feeling, have given themselves over to lewdness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.

Love causes our heart to become pliable so that we can receive life from FATHER.  We can read and research the Bible all day but if we don’t have Love, ignorance will still abound in our lives.  Why?  You will be studying from the wrong perspective.

Love motivates Our Heavenly Father and HIS SPIRIT to communicate to us through HIS Word.  Without this perspective, we will only receive what is devoid of truth and appropriateness thus our understanding will be darkened and alienated from the life of FATHER.  If Catholic priests had the revelation of Love, then how could they abuse children to fulfill their own lusts?  Did they become a priest with this intent?  I think not.  Did they have inadequate access to The Word and related study materials?  The missing ingredient in their lives is the revelation of Love.

Abuse of children is a major issue around the world and the only true solution is Love.  There is more knowledge being spread around the world than ever before yet men continue to have their understanding darkened.  The book stores are filled with “self-help” books yet the problems continue to mount.  The news is nearly instantaneous so we cannot claim ignorance of anything except the revelation of Love.

Men have given themselves over to lewdness and to unbridled sensuality, eagerly craving the practice of every kind of impurity that their desires may demand.  They continue to promote “self” anything, motivated by greed.  We are encouraged to excite our senses with the latest gadgetry which ultimately takes our focus away from the spiritual.  It is imperative that we not allow ourselves to be swept up in the flow of Babylon.

Babylon thrives on and promotes confusion of the heart.  The result… blindness of the the heart.  Those who succumb to the confusion even though they may have received revelation in the past, will have their understanding darkened and revert back to a life of “works”.  What Love they possessed will lose its effectiveness in their life.  They will replace Agape Love with a life based on works, laws, and traditions.  They will attempt replace the emptiness with “things” to excite the senses and/or they will seek accolades from others for the works they accomplish.  Their motivation will be wrong.

Jesus spoke in Matthew chapter 7:

21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.

22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’

23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’

We must not allow ourselves to become blind and have our understanding darkened.  As we place Agape Love at the forefront of our motivation in all matters, we will not practice lawlessness because “self” will no longer be found among us.  We have allowed the old man to pass away with all his motives and selfish ambition.  We must guard our hearts with Love!

Simple Belief And Trust

September 7th, 2018

FATHER spoke in Exodus chapter 23:

25 “So you shall serve the LORD your God, and He will bless your bread and your water. And I will take sickness away from the midst of you.

26 No one shall suffer miscarriage or be barren in your land; I will fulfill the number of your days.”

FATHER’S Heart is the same yesterday, today, and forever.  HIS Love for us is no different now from when HE first spoke the above Word to the Israelites.  HE has the same commitment and desire for you and me as HE did for every person who first heard HIS Word.

Is it drudgery to “serve” FATHER?  Not when you do it out of Love for HIM.  The conflict arises when your ego wants to take control with selfish ambition.  Ambition is a strong desire to do or to achieve something, typically requiring determination and hard work but when you add “selfish’, your desire to achieve typically is at the expense of another.  Man’s carnal nature will substitute the blessing from Above with selfish ambition hoping to achieve similar results.

Do we really trust FATHER’S Word in the area of blessing and health?  I have found that as I rest in HIM, peace comes forth and the flow of blessing and health are no longer hindered.  As I quiet my soul and nourish my spirit by dwelling on HIS Word and Love for me, a peace beyond understanding comes over me and I am not moved by events surrounding me.  As you and I walk in this manner, we encourage blessing and healing to come forth on our behalf for we no longer restrict the flow.

Unbelief is the biggest hindrance to receiving from FATHER.  The world throws out so many alternatives to FATHER’S Word and all are poor substitutions.  The Beloved Disciple wrote by THE SPIRIT in John chapter 1:

12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name:

13 who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

We have been given a simple and direct path to Our Heavenly Father through Our Lord Jesus Christ.  This path is not a complex set of instructions wrapped with a multitude of tasks and traditions.  There is no special place to travel to in order to receive eternal life.  FATHER meets us where we are at in all aspects of our relationship with HIM.  Does HE need some special sacrifice from us in order to get and retain HIS attention?  No.  Man’s carnal mind would have us jump through hoops in order to receive the free gift of salvation.  Man would like to package it and sell it for a fee if possible.  The only requirement to receive from FATHER is to believe HIS Word.

Paul wrote by THE SPIRIT in Romans chapter 10:

9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

11 For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.”

12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him.

13 For “whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved.(sōzō)

This word sōzō means to save, keep safe and sound, to rescue from danger or destruction; to save a suffering one (from perishing), i.e. one suffering from disease, to make well, heal, restore to health; to preserve one who is in danger of destruction, to save or rescue.  Is this commitment from FATHER to good to be true?  Absolutely not!  Let us contemplate the impact of the above passages until these Truths become “first nature” in us and we expect the fullness of these commitments by FATHER to be fully applicable and operational in our lives.  Let no unbelief enter in.

Believing

September 6th, 2018

Mark recorded by THE SPIRIT in chapter 9:

14 And when He (Jesus) came to the disciples, He saw a great multitude around them, and scribes disputing with them.

15 Immediately, when they saw Him, all the people were greatly amazed, and running to Him, greeted Him.

16 And He asked the scribes, “What are you discussing with them?”

17 Then one of the crowd answered and said, “Teacher, I brought You my son, who has a mute spirit.

18 And wherever it seizes him, it throws him down; he foams at the mouth, gnashes his teeth, and becomes rigid. So I spoke to Your disciples, that they should cast it out, but they could not.”

Jesus had been teaching The Gospel to the multitude and set an expectation that His disciples could heal those oppressed of the devil.  There was no question that the man’s son was plagued by a spirit which caused him to be mute and also produced seizures.   The disciples expected to cast out the spirit but were unable.  Jesus took command of the situation:

19 He answered him and said, “O faithless generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I bear with you? Bring him to Me.”

20 Then they brought him to Him. And when he saw Him, immediately the spirit convulsed him, and he fell on the ground and wallowed, foaming at the mouth.

21 So He asked his father, “How long has this been happening to him?” And he said, “From childhood.

22 And often he has thrown him both into the fire and into the water to destroy him. But if You can do anything, have compassion on us and help us.”

Here we have a son who has been plagued by this spirit all his life and has surely caused great frustration among his loved ones.  The son had a chronic problem with no solution offered by the world system.  However, this teacher named Jesus had proclaimed the Good News and set an expectation (hope) with the father for the restoration of his son.

23 Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”

24 Immediately the father of the child cried out and said with tears, “Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!”

25 When Jesus saw that the people came running together, He rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to it, “Deaf and dumb spirit, I command you, come out of him and enter him no more!”

26 Then the spirit cried out, convulsed him greatly, and came out of him. And he became as one dead, so that many said, “He is dead.”

27 But Jesus took him by the hand and lifted him up, and he arose.

28 And when He had come into the house, His disciples asked Him privately, “Why could we not cast it out?”

29 So He said to them, “This kind can come out by nothing but prayer and fasting.”

Do unclean spirits still exist today?  Absolutely.  Today’s medical community utilizes drugs to mask the problem and simply classifies the son’s condition as a “disorder” and medicates him.  The disciples attempted to cast out the spirit but Jesus determined that they were “faithless” and their lack of faith kept them from success.  He then makes the statement “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”

If we are to fully walk in Love, we must prepare ourselves to minister life to others, no matter what their situation.  Love removes whatever is keeping the person from full restoration.  Are we committed to totally remove any unbelief from our midst?  Today, society simply wants to give the person a pill to keep him medicated and hopefully minimize any destructiveness.  Jesus dealt with the root cause and delivered the son whole back to his father.  Believing is the issue at hand and we must root out any unbelief in our hearts so that our trust in FATHER’S Word reigns supreme in our lives.

Jesus trusted FATHER’S Word and was not reluctant to cast out the spirit.  He was not timid concerning the spirit but took command and spoke to the spirit.  It could do nothing but obey His Word and depart from the boy.  Let us continue our preparation so that we will have the same confidence and expectation as our Elder Brother when confronted with a similar situation.  “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”

The Most Subtle Deception

September 5th, 2018

The spirit of religion may be the most subtle of all deceptions we face.  Man gravitates toward rituals and traditions in an effort to structuralize life in any area possible.  Consider that Adam and Eve had a continuous relationship with Our Heavenly Father and required no specific protocol to enter into fellowship.  They simply flowed with HIS SPIRIT.  After the fall, structure replaced “flow”.  Time began slicing up the structure into discreet units of measure and the focus moved away from the flow.

Jesus spoke in Matthew chapter 5:

20 For I say to you, that unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven.

The Pharisees were the religious leaders of the day but inwardly they were as white sepulchres as Jesus said in Matthew chapter 23:

27  Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men’s bones, and of all uncleanness.

When we replace a revelation with tradition, we begin submitting to the deception that the tradition will produce the same results as the original revelation or directive.  It is as though we think we can talk FATHER into submitting to our tradition in order to receive from HIM.  An outward act does not resolve an inward problem.  Traditions replace the need to be led by THE SPIRIT and are the basis for Babylon setting up residence in our hearts.

Did Jesus establish any traditions in His earthly ministry?  Did He start a church building program?  Did He commission a set of robes distinct from all others to be worn by Him and His disciples?

Babylon is meant to keep us confused and in subjection to an outward set of rules made by man.  We must not allow ourselves to be deceived any longer by thinking rituals, processes, traditions, or any other form of structure will bring us closer to FATHER.  IT IS AN INWARD ISSUE!

To quote Douglas Clark:

“How easy it is to see the Babylon within the Institutional Church while overlooking what in us needs to be overcome. It is true our eyes need to be open to our surroundings, but I declare to you that until the Babylon in us is exposed we will not grow in our quest to know Him! The same spirit that gave birth to the mixture of flesh and spirit within the church systems is alive and well right within us! Right now it is trying to figure out ways it can pervert what God is doing in this hour so that it can escape its own demise! The spirit I am speaking of is called Self-preservation and he is in the temple of God seeking a way to sit on the throne of God, ruling in place of the true King. This is why some home fellowships encounter the same old problems we dealt with back in the system. Babylon is in us! How often do we fail to see that the calling of God to come out of the religious systems of man is only the beginning of our journey? It is a much longer process removing the spirit of Babylon from us! That is why in our journey to know Him He often strips us of ministry and gifts for service. His gifts and anointing often become diffused with our carnal reasoning and self-efforts. This is the confusion that is defined in the name, Babylon."

Ponder the above and ask FATHER to reveal any and all remnants of Babylon in our hearts, they must be removed for us to ascend to that higher state.
