The
righteousness of Christ has been transferred to you and me. Our past sins and lawlessness have been fully
expunged and removed thus allowing us to live in total peace. Our life records have been totally cleansed
of wrongdoing and we no longer need to concern ourselves with our past. Let us bury the past and never dig it up
again! Oh what a blessing it is to walk
in the righteousness of Christ!
There
are those who wish to live in the past because they have no purpose today. We, on the other hand, have FATHER’S purpose
before us and look forward to what the day brings. We can embrace each task and look to be a
blessing in all we set our hand to do.
Paul
wrote by THE SPIRIT in Romans chapter 5:
1
Therefore, since we have been justified [that is, acquitted of sin, declared
blameless before God] by faith, [let us
grasp the fact that] we have peace with God [and the joy of reconciliation with
Him] through our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed). AMPL
I
write these words to you daily with great joy and trust they are having a
positive impact on your life. I know
that these words promote peace in my life and I believe that they have the same
impact on you.
I
used to be enamored with prophecies as though their fulfillment would bring
forth a major change on the earth and its effect on me. Little did I know that the revelation of
Agape Love was what I was really seeking in my life. Its impact on my life has fulfilled that
deep-seated need and now I walk in complete peace knowing that FATHER has my
best interest at heart in my daily walk.
Paul
wrote by THE SPIRIT in 1 Corinthians chapter 13:
1
If I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but do not have love, I have
become a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal.
2
If I have the gift of prophecy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge; and
if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but do not have love, I am
nothing.
3
And if I give all my possessions to feed the poor, and if I surrender my body to
be burned, but do not have love, it profits me nothing.
An
angel is a messenger of FATHER who is meant to convey The Word to a specific
targeted audience. Prophets speak forth
an expectation of hope or warnings to people.
Many of us grew up in the “faith” movement in the 1970’s yet Love was
not at the forefront of their teaching.
Many were taught to sacrifice themselves or their possessions for the
Gospel’s sake yet the revelation of Love was missing from such teaching. Their sacrifices were to no avail thus it
profited them nothing.
These
three simple verses summarize a warning we should heed. There are many prophecies and “prophetic”
works which stir up the brethren as though their result will bring forth ultimate
peace on earth yet the revelation of Love is missing in their words and
acts. FATHER isn’t waiting on certain
men’s prophetic works to act. HE is not
subject to words created by man. It is
just the opposite, man is subject to FATHER’S Divine Intent and there is no
real battle dependent on what man thinks is needed to convince FATHER to
act.
FATHER
has a Love plan and as we discover and embrace that plan, we are bringing
Heaven to earth. As we walk in Agape
Love, our words and acts will remain beyond prophecies and any other teachings:
8
Love never fails; but if there are gifts of prophecy, they will be done away;
if there are tongues, they will cease; if there is knowledge, it will be done
away.
9
For we know in part and we prophesy in part;
10
but when the perfect comes, the partial
will be done away.
Men
seek out knowledge and prophecies at the expense of pursuing the revelation of
Love. Am I against gaining
knowledge? No, I have sought out
knowledge myself yet it did not change me.
Am I against prophecies and prophetic works? No, I have done more than my share of “prophetic
“ works and acts here in the U.S. and in Europe yet those trips did not change
me and increase peace in my life. I was
seeing in the mirror dimly:
11
When I was a child, I used to speak like a child, think like a child, reason
like a child; when I became a man, I did away with childish things.
12
For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face; now I know in part,
but then I will know fully just as I also have been fully known.
13
But now faith, hope, love, abide these three; but the greatest of these is
love.
I
was missing the point expressed in the above verses. FATHER allowed me to experience the “childish”
things so that I could relate to the above passage and share the reality of
seeing in a mirror dimly. Out of Love, I
continue to stress the importance of correcting our walk so that we can and
will become mature Sons and Daughters of Our Heavenly Father. HE has a Love plan which exceeds any other
plan men may preach or prophesy. When we
fully embrace HIS Love plan, we will walk in complete peace no matter what is
prophesied and comes to pass. Instead of
seeking the “partial”, let us seek the “perfect”.
