Luke wrote by The Holy Spirit in chapter 1:

39 Now Mary arose in those days and went into the hill country with haste, to a city of Judah, 40 and entered the house of Zacharias and greeted Elizabeth. 41 And it happened, when Elizabeth heard the greeting of Mary, that the babe leaped in her womb; and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit. 42 Then she spoke out with a loud voice and said, “Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb! 43 But why is this granted to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me? 44 For indeed, as soon as the voice of your greeting sounded in my ears, the babe leaped in my womb for joy. 45 Blessed is she who believed, for there will be a fulfillment of those things which were told her from the Lord.”

We need to ponder this passage and come to the realization that the unborn child is fully responsive in the womb as well as out of the womb.  John immediately responded to Mary’s voice.  This alone indicates the independence of an unborn child.

Abortionists want us to believe that these children are inanimate objects and have no spirits or souls until birth.  What a lie!

Our Heavenly Father is “pro-life” and we should be too.  If a country continues to kill its unborn children, it will suffer the judgment of GOD in no uncertain terms.

If you do not vote pro-life for those candidates who support FATHER’S view then you are effectively supporting the killing of children.  Thankfully Elizabeth was “pro-life”, preparing John to lead the way for Jesus to begin His ministry.

Ignorance is no longer an acceptable excuse and bypassing the above passage will not change the Truth!   Support life.

Psalm 139:

16 You saw who you created me to be before I became me!

Before I’d ever seen the light of day,

the number of days YOU planned for me

were already recorded in YOUR book.

As we prepare to make another monthly distribution to the impoverished kids, we want to thank all those who are able to give into this ministry. I can think of no better seed to plant than to help those who cannot help themselves, especially these kids. FATHER has a special place in HIS Heart for children… including the unborn.

At the end of the day, it is all about Love. Thanks again!

In order for me to do FATHER’S Will, I must hear, understand, and yield to HIM.

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in 1 Timothy chapter 1:

18 This charge I commit to you, son Timothy, according to the prophecies previously made concerning you, that by them you may wage the good warfare, 19 having faith and a good conscience, which some having rejected, concerning the faith have suffered shipwreck

FATHER’S Perfect Will for you and me requires us to wage war against the adversary who seeks to derail our individual callings.  The enemy wants us to be passive and effectively do nothing resulting in suffering shipwreck.

Doing the Will of FATHER is not effortless.  We must submit to FATHER and actively resist the devil.  We must be diligent in all areas of our life and obedient to The Holy Spirit’s directives.

Walking in FATHER’S Will is planned but we have a part to play in It’s fulfillment.  FATHER spoke through Isaiah in chapter 1:

16 ​​“Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean;

​​Put away the evil of your doings from before My eyes.

​​Cease to do evil,

17 ​​Learn to do good;

​​Seek justice,

​​Rebuke the oppressor;

​​Defend the fatherless,

​​Plead for the widow.

​

18 ​​“Come now, and let us reason together,”

​​Says the LORD,

​​“Though your sins are like scarlet,

​​They shall be as white as snow;

​​Though they are red like crimson,

​​They shall be as wool.

19 ​​If you are willing and obedient,

​​You shall eat the good of the land”

In order for us to help impoverished kids, the fatherless, and the widows, we must be both willing and obedient.  Each month when my wife and I give into Servias, we seek FATHER to instruct us on what to give.  We then submit to HIM and give that amount. 

Over the years, I have been tested many times about my willingness to give certain amounts into HIS Works here on earth.  Many times it stretched my faith but in each instance, HE provided for us and blessed us accordingly.  I no longer have resistance to HIS guidance and my faith is operating at a higher level… thankfully.

If FATHER’S Will is going to be done on earth, It will happen through HIS Sons and Daughters.  We are the ones who are called to bring forth Heaven to earth so we must maintain a life of willingness and obedience to HIS directives.  We must become diligent in doing good all the time.  We are meant to pursue excellence in our gifts and callings.  This requires discipline.  Both discipline and obedience are facets of Agape Love.

When you do FATHER’S Will it will likely require sacrifice and sometimes discomfort.  It may also seem “inconvenient” to your soul.  There are times when obedience is tested by redirecting your steps and postponing your plan for the day.  HIS plan is dynamic and requires us to be agile in our responses to The Holy Spirit.  The world is broken and people are making decisions affecting the outcome so we must be ready to respond to those decisions.

As The Holy Spirit stated: “according to the prophecies previously made concerning you, that by them you may wage the good warfare”.  Many have promoted the doctrine that a prophecy from Heaven in unconditional and we simply sit back and wait for it to happen.  Not true or Paul would not have mentioned the requirement for waging warfare.  Our faith is required when we are given a Word concerning our future and it will require a commitment on our part.

Paul also wrote by The Holy Spirit in chapter 6:

11 But you, O man of God, flee these things and pursue righteousness, Godliness, faith, Love, patience, gentleness. 12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.

The word “pursue” is an action verb so let us be active in the pursuit of our individual callings as we respond daily to the leading of The Holy Spirit!

Does the world fear us yet?

It is written by The Holy Spirit in Psalm 105 concerning the departure of the children of Israel from Egypt:

37 ​​HE also brought them out with silver and gold,

​​And there was none feeble among His tribes.

38 ​​Egypt was glad when they departed,

​​For the fear of them had fallen upon them.

As we manifest the power and authority as mature Sons and Daughters, the world will begin to fear us.  Their nefarious acts will be exposed and they will willingly transfer wealth to those who walk in Holiness. 

Be assured that there are those who have been prepared as “Treasurers in the Kingdom of GOD” to properly manage the wealth.  They have gone through testing, some severe, to assure their commitment to Righteousness and Holiness.  They have been directly exposed to the extreme love of money found in those upper echelons of the world system where greed abounds.

Every part of The Body of Christ will function to serve the rest of the Body and no one will be envious of another’s calling.  They will simply be grateful for all the Brothers and Sisters who answered the Divine calling.

What is your responsibility to grow to full maturity?  Jesus explained it in Matthew chapter 13:

23 “As for the seed that fell upon good, rich soil, it represents the hearts of people who hear and fully embrace the message of Heaven’s Kingdom realm. Their lives bear good fruit—some yield a harvest of thirty, sixty, even one hundred times as much as was sown.”

We are to protect our hearts from “lack of understanding”.  The Adversary then comes and snatches away what was sown into our heart.  What are we to do?  Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Colossians chapter 1:

8 Also he has informed us of your Love in the [Holy] Spirit.

9 For this reason we also, from the day we heard of it, have not ceased to pray and make [special] request for you, [asking] that you may be filled with the full (deep and clear) knowledge of HIS will in all spiritual wisdom [in comprehensive insight into the ways and purposes of God] and in understanding and discernment of spiritual things

This is why I start the day praying in The Holy Spirit.  He directs me to certain passages that clarify what I need to understand.  This process eliminates lack of understanding.

We must not allow the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches to choke the Word thus becoming unfruitful.  This is all about resisting temptation.  As we renew our minds daily and remove the influences of the world, our faith grows and we are no longer moved by the fleeting temptations spoken to us by demonic influences. 

We must protect our eyes and ears.  Once we get understanding, we must act accordingly.

A deeper walk with FATHER requires greater discipline and obedience.  We must actively resist the adversary and his demons as they attempt to move us toward extremes in our daily lives.  Some people will allow themselves to become lazy and do nothing.  Others think that if they are not constantly “doing”, they are not pleasing to FATHER.  Both are wrong.

We are meant to be doers of The Word but also we are to do only when instructed by The Holy Spirit.  It is all about timing.  FATHER may show me something that needs to be done though HE does not want me to take action yet.  This is where discipline and obedience are critical to our walk.  HE is lining up certain events to insure success when we are meant to take action.  This is an aspect of HIS ways and purposes for each of us.

You and I are valuable to FATHER and HIS Divine Intent to bring forth HIS Kingdom to earth.  Each day we may quote “Not my will but Your Will be done in my life” but we need to also include “based on YOUR perfect timing”.

I find as I increase in discipline and obedience, more and more events fall into place where I show up or respond just in time, not a minute early and not a minute late.  How peaceful it is to walk by the leading of The Holy Spirit!  People will take notice of this anointing and will begin to see the Fear of THE LORD… and they will respond.

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Ephesians chapter 4:

11 And he has appointed some with grace to be apostles, and some with grace to be prophets, and some with grace to be evangelists, and some with grace to be pastors, and some with grace to be teachers. 12 And their calling is to nurture and prepare all the Holy believers to do their own works of ministry, and as they do this they will enlarge and build up the Body of Christ.

The five-fold ministry should be about “giving”, not taking.  Each calling has been given a ministry to nurture and prepare Holy believers to do mature works of the ministry, not simply to sit in a pew each Sunday and be fed a little milk.

What is the goal?  It is to enlarge and build up the Body of Christ.  What a simple mandate yet men have been led by their minds rather than The Holy Spirit and have built their own “kingdoms” of followers. 

True ministry originates with Jesus Christ and His directives which include the active participation of The Holy Spirit.  In many cases, The Holy Spirit has been relegated to the “back room” or ushered completely out of the building.  How sad!

13 These grace ministries will function until we all attain oneness in the faith, until we all experience the fullness of what it means to know the Son of God, and finally we become one perfect man with the full dimensions of Spiritual maturity and fully developed in the abundance of Christ.

Paul shares the end-game in the above passage.  The five-fold ministry is temporary in nature and should not be perpetuated beyond its mission.

14 And then our immaturity will end! And we will not be easily shaken by trouble, nor led astray by novel teachings or by the false doctrines of deceivers who teach clever lies. 15 But instead we will remain strong and always sincere in our Love as we express the Truth. All our direction and ministries will flow from Christ and lead us deeper into Him, the anointed Head of his body, the church.

We must be watchful of the false doctrines and clever lies.  The Holy Spirit AND The Word will protect us from those wolves.  We need both in order to see through their cleverness!  I have been duped more than once because I disregarded that “still small voice”.  As for me, I prefer less of those learning experiences.

16 For His “body” has been formed in His image and is closely joined together and constantly connected as ONE. And every member has been given Divine gifts to contribute to the growth of all; and as these gifts operate effectively throughout the whole body, we are built up and made perfect in Love.

Agape Love perfects and each of us has a part to move to that perfection of the body.  Your vision and provision originates in Heaven, not on the earth.  Each of us must pull down these resources from Heaven and manifest them on earth.  The angels are given missions to accomplish this.  The Holy Spirit will lead and guide us into our vision and provision as we are disciplined and obedient to walk in Agape Love.

Shouldn’t we be focusing on the endgame rather than sitting in the basement with rations?  Is any virus greater than FATHER’S ability and willingness to heal?  If we are going to separate ourselves from the world, let’s do it in the Secret Place (Psalm 91)  and then get our marching orders for the day.  This is what overcomers are directed to do.

You and I are HIS Sons and Daughters forever.  We are HIS creation so let us walk in that understanding and no longer allow the adversary any part of our daily lives.

As Colossians chapter 1 given to us by The Holy Spirit instructs us:

Walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; 11 strengthened with all might, according to HIS glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy; 12 giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light. 13 HE has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of HIS Love, 14 in whom we have redemption through His Blood, the forgiveness of sins.

Amen!

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Ephesians chapter 4:

4 As a prisoner of the Lord, I plead with you to walk Holy, in a way that is suitable to your high rank, given to you in your Divine calling. 2 With tender humility and quiet patience, always demonstrate gentleness and generous Love toward one another, especially toward those who may try your patience.

It is imperative that each of us move to Holiness in our walk and each day I ask FATHER to help me to walk in Holiness.  The Holy Spirit is not reluctant in expressing to us that we have the capacity to walk in Holiness because it is a part of our individual Divine callings.  These Divine callings were given to us before we were formed in the womb as revealed in Psalm 139:

15 You even formed every bone in my body

when you created me in the secret place,

carefully, skillfully shaping me from nothing to something (ex nihilo).

16 You saw who you created me to be before I became me!

Before I’d ever seen the light of day,

the number of days you planned for me

were already recorded in your book

You were never an afterthought or accident even though the world might try to have you believe the lie.  In HIS great Wisdom and understanding, FATHER made sure you were born on this earth in a specific place and at this time.  Your mother carried you as a part of FATHER’S Divine plan.

We must firmly grasp FATHER’S Intent for each of us to walk Holy before HIM.  In Matthew chapter 27, he recorded by The Holy Spirit the final event at the cross:

50 Jesus passionately cried out, took his last breath, and gave up his spirit.

51 At that moment the veil in the Holy of Holies was torn in two from the top to the bottom. The earth shook violently, rocks were split apart, 52 and graves were opened. Then many of the Holy ones who had died were brought back to life and came out of their graves. 53 And after Jesus’ resurrection, they were plainly seen by many people walking in Jerusalem.

The Holy of Holies was opened up to enable you and me to walk in directly before Our Heavenly Father.  Jesus perfected the sacrifice once and for all, thus the “Cases against us are closed!”

Since this is the reality, let us walk accordingly.  We have the right and authority to walk in HIS Presence so let us pursue this walk reserved for us on the Highway of Holiness.

Each of us has individual responsibilities to ascend to full maturity as Sons and Daughters.  My responsibility to you is to write according to what The Holy Spirit is directing each day.  This is what the ministry of a teacher is meant to be.  It is more important to receive revelation from Above than to simply write on knowledge of the Scriptures.  Without the SPIRIT, the Word is of none effect for Jesus made that Truth abundantly clear to the Pharisees.  Consider “clouds without rain”.

Paul continued in Ephesians chapter 4:

3 Be faithful to guard the sweet harmony of the Holy Spirit among you in the bonds of peace, 4 being one body and one spirit, as you were all called into the same glorious hope of Divine destiny.

5 For the Lord God is one, and so are we, for we share in one faith, one baptism, and one Father. 6 And He is the perfect Father who leads us all, works through us all, and lives in us all!

You and I are meant to be in unity with each other in all areas of our walk.  As we fulfill our Divine destiny, It will lead each of us into unity with HIM and each other… and it is all based on Agape Love.  The key is to fully submit to HIM in discipline and obedience.

As I take control of my mind so that I can better respond to The Holy Spirit, I actually free up time due to no longer pursuing fruitless activities.  Some activities are meant to be done but timing is the real issue. 

Being on time brings for fruitfulness as our steps are ordered by The Holy Spirit.  Don’t be afraid by the adversary’s attempts to make your mind think that you will “miss out on an opportunity.”  Scripture shows us that the devil and his demons have no idea of timing in the Spiritual realm else they would not have attempted to kill babies over a two year time span when Jesus came forth through Mary.

We are called to walk in Holiness and it will be accomplished by fully submitting to The Holy Spirit.  If we couldn’t accomplish this high calling, we would not be urged to do so.  Let’s do it!

It is the revelation of GOD’S Goodness that leads you to repentance.

It is the revelation of GOD’S Goodness that heals you.

It’s a gift and you cannot earn it but you need only to fully accept HIS healing in your life.  It is written in Isaiah 53 by The Holy Spirit:

4 But [in fact] He has borne our griefs,

And He has carried our sorrows and pains;

Yet we [ignorantly] assumed that He was stricken,

Struck down by God and degraded and humiliated [by Him].

5 But He was wounded for our transgressions,

He was crushed for our wickedness [our sin, our injustice, our wrongdoing];

The punishment [required] for our well-being fell on Him,

And by His stripes (wounds) we are healed.

And:

10  Yet the Lord was willing

To crush Him, causing Him to suffer;

If He would give Himself as a guilt offering [an atonement for sin],

He shall see His [spiritual] offspring,

He shall prolong His days,

And the will (good pleasure) of the Lord shall succeed and prosper in His hand.

11 As a result of the anguish of His soul,

He shall see it and be satisfied;

By His knowledge [of what He has accomplished] the Righteous One,

My Servant, shall justify the many [making them righteous—upright before God, in right standing with Him],

For He shall bear [the responsibility for] their sins.

12 Therefore, I will divide and give Him a portion with the great [kings and rulers],

And He shall divide the spoils with the mighty,

Because He [willingly] poured out His life to death,

And was counted among the transgressors;

Yet He Himself bore and took away the sin of many,

And interceded [with the Father] for the transgressors.

Jesus fulfilled this prophecy in Isaiah in full.  Yes, the payment for our sins is complete and nothing else is required.  Included in this payment is the complete removal of guilt from our midst thus the adversary has nothing legally to bring up to us about our past.  However, his demons will try to keep us living in our past in order to keep our focus away from full maturity as Sons and Daughters.

Be assured that Jesus will not suffer on the cross again for what He did once is more than enough for all of mankind… period!  We need to cast down all vain and empty imaginations about the past and move on with our gifts and callings.  We need to shut the demonic activity out by The Blood of Jesus.

Do you think they will go willingly?  No.  In Mark chapter 9, even Jesus had to deal with a contrary demon:

17 Then one of the crowd answered and said, “Teacher, I brought You my son, who has a mute spirit. 18 And wherever it seizes him, it throws him down; he foams at the mouth, gnashes his teeth, and becomes rigid. So I spoke to Your disciples, that they should cast it out, but they could not.”

Do you think the demon knew who the disciples were?  Do you think that the demon knew that Jesus would arrive any minute?  Yet the demon continued to plague the man’s son.  Jesus was not pleased by the disciples inability to cast out the demon.

19 He answered him and said, “O faithless generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I bear with you? Bring him to Me.” 20 Then they brought him to Him. And when he saw Him, immediately the spirit convulsed him, and he fell on the ground and wallowed, foaming at the mouth.

What did the demon do when Jesus approached the son?  The demon increased his resistance and made a spectacle of the boy.  The demon challenged Jesus.

21 So He asked his father, “How long has this been happening to him?”

And he said, “From childhood. 22 And often he has thrown him both into the fire and into the water to destroy him. But if You can do anything, have compassion on us and help us.”

23 Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”

24 Immediately the father of the child cried out and said with tears, “Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!”

25 When Jesus saw that the people came running together, He rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to it, “Deaf and dumb spirit, I command you, come out of him and enter him no more!” 26 Then the spirit cried out, convulsed him greatly, and came out of him. And he became as one dead, so that many said, “He is dead.” 27 But Jesus took him by the hand and lifted him up, and he arose.

The power and authority of Jesus has been given to us and made perfect by His Blood.  We are no longer guilty of our past and we must remove any reference to the “old man” for we are new in Christ Jesus.  We have taken on His righteousness so let us walk accordingly and once and for all, let the old man pass away.  Behold, all things are new!

We are in a war and we are called to establish The Kingdom of GOD.  We are meant to be more than conquerors and acquire the fruitfulness of the crops in the land planted by others.  The fullness of the earth is THE LORD’S so let us take back lost real estate on HIS behalf.  Jesus fulfilled all the requirements for restoration and we are His beneficiaries.  Simply accept this Truth!

FATHER spoke to the children of Israel in Exodus chapter 15:

25 So he (Moses) cried out to the LORD, and the LORD showed him a tree. When he cast it into the waters, the waters were made sweet.

There He made a statute and an ordinance for them, and there He tested them,

26 and said, “If you diligently heed the voice of the LORD your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put (permit) none of the diseases on you which I have brought (allowed) on the Egyptians. For I am the LORD who heals you.”

The Spirit and Word are both mentioned in the above passage.  Heeding the Voice of THE LORD is critical thus we must place this aspect at the forefront of our priorities.

How can I do what is right in HIS Sight if I don’t heed HIS instruction?  I look over my life and see the times I failed to get HIS counsel before making a decision for I relied on my “mental prowess” instead.  What a mistake!

Doing what is right in HIS Sight means that HE is watching us.  FATHER is not surprised by our spiritual state whether good or bad.  HE desires all HIS Sons and Daughters to embrace what is right in HIS Sight and the inhabitants of Heaven are cheering us on when we promote life.

In John chapter 15, Jesus spoke:

9 “I Love each of you with the same Love that the Father Loves Me. You must continually let My Love nourish your hearts. 10 If you keep My commands, you will live in My Love, just as I have kept My Father’s commands, for I continually live nourished and empowered by HIS Love. 11 My purpose for telling you these things is so that the joy that I experience will fill your hearts with overflowing gladness!

12 “So this is My command: Love each other deeply, as much as I have Loved you. 13 For the greatest Love of all is a Love that sacrifices all. And this great Love is demonstrated when a person sacrifices his life for his friends.

Jesus’ ministry focused on giving, our ministry should have the same focus.  As I give, good seed is planted and ultimately produces good fruit.  As I plant daily, I am preparing for a continuous harvest.  That harvest will sustain me well into the future.

In Psalm 105, it is written by The Holy Spirit for our instruction:

37 At last, God freed all the Hebrews from their slavery

and sent them away laden with the silver and gold of Egypt.

And not even one was feeble on their way out!

38 Egypt was relieved at their exodus, ready to see them go,

for the terror of the Lord of the Hebrews had fallen upon them!

39 God spread out a cloud as shade as they moved ahead

and a cloud of fire to light up their night.

40 Moses prayed and God brought them quail to eat.

He satisfied them with heaven’s bread falling from the sky.

41 He broke open the boulder

and the waters poured out like a river in the desert.

42 For God could never forget

his holy promise to his servant Abraham.

43 So God brought out his chosen ones with singing;

with a joyful shout they were set free!

44 He gave them lands and nations, just like he promised.

Fruitful lands of crops they had never planted were now theirs.

45 All this was done for them so that they would be faithful

to keep the ways of God, obeying his laws and following his truths.

Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

What did the FATHER of Love do?  HE:

• Freed them from slavery
• Sent them “heavy laden” with gold and silver
• No one had sickness or disease
• Kept them cool in the day with shade
• Kept them warm at night and gave them light at night
• Gave them quail to eat
• Gave them bread to eat
• Gave them water to drink
• Gave them fruitful land of crops they did not plant

Does HE Love you and me any less?  Aren’t we meant to be “more” than conquerors?  Let us bring the intent and reality of Heaven to earth and no longer limit ourselves from HIS abundant Love!  HE is willing, are we?

Men accommodate their unbelief by making up their own doctrine.

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Romans chapter 8:

8 So now the case is closed. There remains no accusing voice of condemnation against those who are joined in life-union with Jesus, the Anointed One. 2 For the “law” of the Spirit of life flowing through the anointing of Jesus has liberated us from the “law” of sin and death. 3 For God achieved what the law was unable to accomplish, because the law was limited by the weakness of human nature.

Do I want to be liberated from the law of sin and death?  If so, why would I spend needless hours focusing on areas of study which have very little to do with promoting the law of the Spirit of life?  Why wouldn’t I make a priority of praying in THE SPIRIT every single day?  I believe the only reason is due to lack of revelation.

When we focus on “the world”, we promote unbelief in our minds.  The world is constantly in conflict with the Absolute Truth.  We need to focus on the Spirit of Truth!

Many people will study The Word but fail to include The Holy Spirit in their study.  In John chapter 6, Jesus spoke:

63 It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life. 64 But there are some of you who do not believe.” For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were who did not believe, and who would betray Him. 65 And He said, “Therefore I have said to you that no one can come to Me unless it has been granted to him by My Father.”

The Holy Spirit is life-giving and we should be pursuing the fullness of life as the highest priority of our existence.  No one knows us better than The Holy Spirit thus He will direct us in all our daily affairs and navigate us through the difficulties of this broken world.

In 2 Corinthians chapter 3, Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit:

4 And we have such trust through Christ toward God. 5 Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think of anything as being from ourselves, but our sufficiency is from God, 6 who also made us sufficient as ministers of the new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.

The Word without The Spirit is of none effect so when I read the Old Testament, I should be led by The Spirit in order to receive the revelation of what FATHER wants me to see and understand.  I must not read and study simply to gain knowledge, I need revelation which promotes life.

In John chapter 8, Jesus spoke to the Pharisees:

13 The Pharisees therefore said to Him, “You bear witness of Yourself; Your witness is not true.”

14 Jesus answered and said to them, “Even if I bear witness of Myself, My witness is true, for I know where I came from and where I am going; but you do not know where I come from and where I am going. 15 You judge according to the flesh; I judge no one. 16 And yet if I do judge, My judgment is true; for I am not alone, but I am with the Father who sent Me. 17 It is also written in your law that the testimony of two men is true. 18 I am One who bears witness of Myself, and the Father who sent Me bears witness of Me.”

19 Then they said to Him, “Where is Your Father?”

Jesus answered, “You know neither Me nor My Father. If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also.”

20 These words Jesus spoke in the treasury, as He taught in the temple; and no one laid hands on Him, for His hour had not yet come.

Notice that Jesus referred to the Old Covenant as “your law”.  These experts in The Law had no revelation of who Jesus was for The Holy Spirit was not providing the understanding needed.  Without The Spirit, Jesus referred to the Old Testament and related writings and traditions as “your law”.

This is simply another example of how critical it is to be fully led by The Holy Spirit and not allow ourselves to be diverted from The Spirit of Life.

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Romans chapter 8:

5 Those who are motivated by the flesh only pursue what benefits themselves. But those who live by the impulses of the Holy Spirit are motivated to pursue Spiritual realities. 6 For the mind-set of the flesh is death, but the mind-set controlled by the Spirit finds life and peace.

7 In fact, the mind-set focused on the flesh fights GOD’S plan and refuses to submit to HIS direction, because it cannot! 8 For no matter how hard they try, GOD finds no pleasure with those who are controlled by the flesh. 9 But when the Spirit of Christ empowers your life, you are not dominated by the flesh but by the Spirit. And if you are not joined to the Spirit of the Anointed One, you are not of Him.

Each of us must assess our own mind-set in light of what The Holy Spirit has expressed in the above passage.  Are you willing to fully submit to the mind-set of The Spirit and respond accordingly?

When a thought is given to you in your mind by The Holy Spirit, what do you do with it?  Do you ponder it then ultimately disregard it?  If so, your mind-set is not controlled by The Spirit.  As a result, you are strengthening the mind-set of the flesh.

What should I do?  Take action when The Holy Spirit instructs you to do or say something.  Once the directive is expressed on earth, you bring forth the Kingdom of GOD in a greater manner thus impacting your surroundings.  Am I 100% responsive yet?  No not yet, but I am pursuing being “fully led” by The Holy Spirit in all areas.  I trust you are in the same pursuit else you would not be led to read these blogs.

Am I going through trials and tests?  Absolutely, but I expect a reward at the end of each test for FATHER rewards those who diligently seek HIM.  I refuse to be moved by the trials and tests knowing that FATHER will see me through them all.

If you have a bad thought and don’t act it out or say anything, it has no power and will dissipate.  The demons will see that their attempt to influence you to the mind-set of the flesh is no longer working.  At some point, those attempts will cease for they will look for a weaker vessel to control.

Once you submit act or speak according to the mind-set of the flesh, you are held accountable for it.  James wrote by The Holy Spirit in James chapter 4:

7 So then, surrender to GOD. Stand up to the devil and resist him and he will turn and run away from you. 8 Move your heart closer and closer to GOD, and HE will come even closer to you.

We have a responsibility to take on the mind-set of The Spirit.  No one else can do it for you or me.  I can encourage you but I can’t compel you to change. 

We are no longer victims for victims are created in the mind-set of the flesh.  When we were young and immature, we were victimized by those who were led by the devil and his demons to keep us in a cycle of curses, often generational in nature.  It is up to me to break the curse of a generational nature by taking on the mind-set of The Spirit.

Not every thought or feeling is “you”.  Many thoughts or feelings have come from the external spiritual influence of demons.  Jesus Himself revealed this in Matthew chapter 16:

21 From that time Jesus began to show to His disciples that He must go to Jerusalem, and suffer many things from the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised the third day.

22 Then Peter took Him aside and began to rebuke Him, saying, “Far be it from You, Lord; this shall not happen to You!”

23 But He turned and said to Peter, “Get behind Me, Satan! You are an offense to Me, for you are not mindful of the things of God, but the things of men.”

Peter’s mind-set was not “mindful of the things of God” and Jesus revealed that reality to him in no uncertain terms.  Jesus dealt directly with the influencer- satan.  We must not disregard the source of many unrighteous thoughts meant to keep us in the mind-set of the flesh.

The spirit of deception is being revealed and we must not allow ourselves to disregards these Truths.  Do not allow unrighteous thoughts to manifest.  If I speak the mind-set of The Spirit, fruitfulness will abound in my life.  Doubt not!

We are meant to frame our world just as Jesus did and it is done by our words and actions given through the mind-set of The Spirit.
