Paul wrote in Romans chapter 5:
6 While we were still helpless [powerless to provide for our salvation] (with utterly no way of escape), at the right time Christ died [as a substitute] for the ungodly.
7 Now it is an extraordinary thing for one to willingly give his life even for an upright man, though perhaps for a good man [one who is noble and selfless and worthy] someone might even dare to die.
8 But God clearly shows and proves His own great love for us, by the fact that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
9 Therefore, since we have now been justified [declared free of the guilt of sin] by His blood, [how much more certain is it that] we will be saved from the wrath of God through Him.
10 For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, it is much more certain, having been reconciled, that we will be saved
[from the consequences of sin]
by His life [that is, we will be saved because Christ lives today].
11 Not only that, but we also rejoice in God [rejoicing in His love and perfection] through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received and enjoy our reconciliation [with God]. AMPL
What a plan! When did Love first arrive? In the beginning for Love initiated The Word which expresses the Divine Intent of FATHER. Wisdom which is the proper application of understanding is based on FATHER’S Divine Intent thus wisdom expresses HIS Love toward us. This is why it is so important for us to study the Book of Proverbs as a fundamental, practical guide to living.
Satan was successful in the Garden but then he failed in the wilderness. He can no longer tempt us with selfishness and greed. Love designed the plan of redemption and Our Lord Jesus Christ carried it out. Men wanted the environment to change based on their understanding of prophecy but FATHER was and is focused on the internal environments of men’s hearts.
Paul wrote by THE SPIRIT in 2 Corinthians chapter 6:
14 Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness?
15 And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever?
16 And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said:
“I will dwell in them
And walk among them.
I will be their God,
And they shall be My people.”
Being new creations, we are urged to no longer follow the path of those who walk in lawlessness and darkness. Jesus has provided us “The Way” and when we purpose to walk this particular path, FATHER is able to direct us without hindrance for HE dwells in us.
It is written by THE SPIRIT in Hebrews chapter 13:
5 Let your character [your moral essence, your inner nature] be free from the love of money [shun greed—be financially ethical], being content with what you have; for He has said, “I will never [under any circumstances] desert you [nor give you up nor leave you without support, nor will I in any degree leave you helpless], nor will I forsake or let you down or relax My hold on you
[assuredly not]
!”
6 So we take comfort and are encouraged and confidently say,
“The Lord is my Helper [in time of need], I will not be afraid.
What will man do to me?” AMPL
Love and peace which are beyond measure flood our souls as we are assured of FATHER’S presence in our lives. We are no longer on our own as we have the Creator of Heaven and earth there to help us in time of need. We rely on HIS Wisdom and understanding in all matters. We don’t have to wring our hands and be anxious anymore because Our Heavenly Father is always looking out for our best interest well beyond our understanding and comprehension. We are right in the middle of HIS big Love plan. Let our gratitude be expressed in praise as we acknowledge HIS unending Love for us.
