Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Colossians chapter 3:

1 Christ’s resurrection is your resurrection too. This is why we are to yearn for all that is above, for that’s where Christ sits enthroned at the place of all power, honor, and authority! 2 Yes, feast on all the treasures of the Heavenly realm and fill your thoughts with Heavenly realities, and not with the distractions of the natural realm.

3 Your crucifixion with Christ has severed the tie to this life, and now your true life is hidden away in God in Christ. 4 And as Christ Himself is seen for who He really is, who you really are will also be revealed, for you are now ONE with Him in His Glory!

In order to fully walk in Christ’s resurrection, we must also be crucified with Him and sever the ties to the world.  We must not allow ourselves to be distracted by the world as we walk IN HIM.  As our focus remains being in full unity with Him, we will take on the same Glory and who we are will be revealed to the world.  FATHER’S Divine Intent will be on display and produce the good fruit HE intended before we were formed in the womb.  Love will be our foundation.

Paul further wrote:

5 Live as one who has died to every form of sexual sin and impurity. Live as one who has died to the desires for forbidden things, including the desire for wealth, which is the essence of idol worship. 6 When you live in these vices you ignite the anger of God against these acts of disobedience.

7–8 That’s how you once behaved, characterized by your evil deeds. But now it’s time to eliminate them from your lives once and for all—anger, fits of rage, all forms of hatred, cursing, filthy speech, 9 and lying. Lay aside your old Adam-self with its masquerade and disguise.

The acts of disobedience kindle anger with Our Heavenly Father so let us distance ourselves from those impurities that would keep us from Holiness.  Instead, let us focus on walking a crucified life knowing that the Glory will arrive and we will be fully led by The Holy Spirit.  If you are guilty of any of these acts then stop!

10 For you have acquired new creation life which is continually being renewed into the likeness of the One who created you; giving you the full revelation of God. 11 In this new creation life, your nationality makes no difference, nor your ethnicity, education, nor economic status—they matter nothing. For it is Christ that means everything as He lives in every one of us!

In essence, The Holy Spirit says “All lives matter!”  Why must we concern ourselves with what separates us when The Holy Spirit is focused on what unifies us?

12 You are always and dearly Loved by God! So robe yourself with virtues of God, since you have been Divinely chosen to be Holy. Be merciful as you endeavor to understand others, and be compassionate, showing kindness toward all. Be gentle and humble, unoffendable in your patience with others.

13 Tolerate the weaknesses of those in the family of faith, forgiving one another in the same way you have been graciously forgiven by Jesus Christ. If you find fault with someone, release this same gift of forgiveness to them. 14 For Love is supreme and must flow through each of these virtues. Love becomes the mark of true maturity.

15 Let your heart be always guided by the peace of the Anointed One, Who called you to peace as part of His One Body. And always be thankful.

To summarize:

Be merciful

Be compassionate

Show kindness toward all

Be gentle

Be humble

Be unoffendable

Tolerate the weaknesses of those in the family of faith

Forgive

If you find fault with someone, release them

Be thankful

Let Love flow through each of these virtues, the true mark of maturity!

The Love of Our Heavenly Father is full acceptance of you and me.  We are not rejected in any aspect of our lives by Our Heavenly Father.  Because of HIS unfathomable Love, HE provided the means for our full restoration of fellowship through the Blood of Jesus Who is FATHER’S expressed image.

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Ephesians chapter 1:

3 Every Spiritual blessing in the Heavenly realm has already been lavished upon us as a Love gift from Our Wonderful Heavenly Father, the Father of our Lord Jesus—all because HE sees us wrapped into Christ. This is why we celebrate Him with all our hearts!

4 And in Love HE chose us before HE laid the foundation of the universe! Because of HIS Great Love, HE ordained us, so that we would be seen as Holy in HIS Eyes with an unstained innocence.

5–6 For it was always in HIS perfect plan to adopt us as HIS delightful children, through our union with Jesus, the Anointed One, so that HIS tremendous Love that cascades over us would glorify HIS grace—for the same Love HE has for the Beloved, Jesus, HE has for us. And this unfolding plan brings HIM great pleasure!

FATHER did not form you or me out of duty or necessity, HE brought us forth out of HIS passionate Love which desires fellowship in a continuous manner.  FATHER expressed this important Truth when HE instructed me to focus on Agape Love in December of 2005.

What many don’t realize is that the Law was focused on a positional relationship whereas the New Testament is focused on a relationship based on a foundation of Love.

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Galatians chapter 5:

16 I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. 17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish. 18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.

If I am led by The Holy Spirit, then I can encourage others to also be led by THE SPIRIT.  You and I are meant to be “leaders” to those who are groping around, not knowing where they are going.  Many believers don’t truly know where they are at so they don’t the path to take.  They are looking for someone to follow whether they realize it or not.

You and I are to produce fruit as an advertisement of FATHER’S passionate Love HE has for us.  People want to see HIS Glory in us, on us, and through us.  Jesus expressed this Truth when He prayed in John chapter 17:

23 “You live fully in me and now I live fully in them

    so that they will experience perfect unity,

    and the world will be convinced that YOU have sent Me,

    for they will see that YOU Love each one of them

    with the same passionate Love that YOU have for Me.”

24 “Father, I ask that you allow everyone that YOU have given to Me

    to be with Me where I am!

    Then they will see My full glory—

    the very splendor YOU have placed upon Me

    because YOU have Loved Me even before the beginning of time.”

FATHER’S Glory, Jesus’ Glory, and HIS Glory through us.  That is the expectation of Jesus in His prayer so let us accept His prayer without reservation!

The Love of GOD is full acceptance of you and me.  We are not rejected in any aspect of our lives by Our Heavenly Father.  Because of HIS unfathomable Love, HE provided the means for our full restoration of fellowship through the Blood of Jesus Who is FATHER’S expressed image.

Who better to pray for you and me than Jesus Himself!  He spoke only what He heard FATHER say thus His prayer in the following passage expresses FATHER’S Divine Intent and outcome.

Jesus prayed for you and me in John chapter 17:

20 “And I ask not only for these disciples,

    but also for all those who will one day

    believe in Me through their message.

21 I pray for them all to be joined together as one

    even as You and I, Father, are joined together as One.

    I pray for them to become one with Us

    so that the world will recognize that You sent Me.

22 For the very glory You have given to me I have given them

    so that they will be joined together as one

    and experience the same unity that We enjoy.

23 You live fully in Me and now I live fully in them

    so that they will experience perfect unity,

    and the world will be convinced that You have sent Me,

    for they will see that You Love each one of them

    with the same passionate Love that You have for Me.

24 “Father, I ask that you allow everyone that you have given to Me

    to be with Me where I am!

    Then they will see My full glory—

    the very splendor You have placed upon Me

    because You have Loved Me even before the beginning of time.

25 “You are My righteous Father,

    but the unbelieving world has never known You

    in the perfect way that I know You!

    And all those who believe in Me

    also know that You have sent Me!

26 I have revealed to them Who You are

    and I will continue to make You even more real to them,

    so that they may experience the same endless Love

    that You have for Me,

    for Your Love will now live in them, even as I live in them!”

There is no rejection associated with our relationship Jesus prayed about in the above passage.  It is one of full acceptance and unity with Them.  It is critically important for us to grasp this prayer and accept it wholeheartedly as Jesus’ greatest desire for fellowship and unity with each of us. 

Ponder these Words in His prayer today and ask FATHER to reveal HIS endless Love to you.

We are meant to base our lives on Absolute Truth rather than observations by mankind.  Absolute Truth can only be found in Heaven and is conveyed by The Word and The Holy Spirit to us for our benefit.  Since man’s truth is based on observation, it is subject to change as man’s observations become more accurate.  Our foundation must be based on Absolute Truth which does not change or deviate thus It is fully reliable.

The Beloved Disciple wrote by The Holy Spirit in John chapter 17:

1 This is what Jesus prayed as He looked up into Heaven,

“Father, the time has come.

    Unveil the glorious splendor of your Son

    so that I will magnify Your glory!

2 You have already given Me authority

    over all people so that I may give

    the gift of eternal life to all those that You have given to Me.

3 Eternal life means to know and experience You

    as the only true God,

    and to know and experience Jesus Christ,

    as the Son whom You have sent.

4 I have glorified You on the earth

    by faithfully doing everything You’ve told Me to do.

5 So My Father, restore Me back to the glory

    that We shared together when We were face-to-face

    before the universe was created.”

Jesus only spoke and acted based on what FATHER told Him to do, without exception.  Jesus expressed the Image of FATHER and as He prayed, we are to do the same as we walk in unity with THEM.

And Jesus further prayed to FATHER:

17  “Your Word is Truth! So make them Holy by The Truth.

18 I have commissioned them to represent Me

    just as you commissioned Me to represent You.

19 And now I dedicate Myself to them as a Holy sacrifice

    so that they will live as fully dedicated to God

    and be made Holy by Your Truth.”

Holiness has a foundation based on Absolute Truth so let us protect our foundation from anyone who attempts to dismantle the Truth.  This includes anyone who has access to you.  We must be on guard from those who attempt to compromise what FATHER has shown us.  Some of those friends who were once with you have fallen behind and decided to stay at a lower level of revelation.  Can you afford to allow them to drag you down since you can no longer be in unity?

All who are led by the Spirit of God are Sons of God.  Paul wrote this Absolute Truth by The Holy Spirit in Romans chapter 8:

14 The mature children of God are those who are moved by the impulses of the Holy Spirit. 15 And you did not receive the “spirit of religious duty,” leading you back into the fear of never being good enough. But you have received the “Spirit of full acceptance,” enfolding you into the family of God. And you will never feel orphaned, for as He rises up within us, our spirits join Him in saying the words of tender affection, “Beloved Father!” 16 For the Holy Spirit makes God’s Fatherhood real to us as He whispers into our innermost being, “You are God’s beloved child!”

17 And since we are His True Children, we qualify to share all HIS Treasures, for indeed, we are heirs of God Himself. And since we are joined to Christ, we also inherit all that He is and all that He has. We will experience being co-glorified with Him provided that we accept His sufferings as our own.

As we base our daily lives on the Absolute Truth, we will begin to understand what it means to be qualified to share all HIS Treasures.  The world’s trappings are of no interest when you have full access to the real treasures given to us by FATHER.  When we accept life and Agape Love as our total commitment, then the blessings of Deuteronomy chapter 28 will manifest on our behalf.  Those blessings are

by-products of a mature Son or Daughter.

The world’s observations contain a bias of the observer.  He or she will see “facts” based on a slant of past experience thus new facts may contain inaccuracy in order to fit their bias.  This is not the case with Absolute Truth.  Isn’t it simpler to base our life on error-free Truth that never changes?

I urge you to not be moved by the ever-changing Truth being spewed out by the world.

Jesus spoke in Matthew chapter 13:

44 “Heaven’s kingdom realm can be illustrated like this:

“A Person discovered that there was hidden treasure in a field. Upon finding it, He hid it again. Because of uncovering such treasure, He was overjoyed and sold all that He possessed to buy the entire field just so He could have the treasure.”

One facet of this parable is the following:

The hidden treasure as a symbol of you and me. Jesus is the man who sold all that He owned, leaving His exalted place of glory to come and pay for the sin of the whole world with His own blood just so He could have you, His treasure. Heaven’s kingdom realm is experienced when we realize what a great price Jesus places on our souls, for He gave his sacred blood for us. The re-hiding of the treasure is a hint of our new life, hidden in God.

I experienced another facet of the parable in October of 1971 but to a much lesser degree as a Son of Our Heavenly Father.  I was an immature believer and hardly knew any Scripture.  In August of the year, I was led to a Christian coffee house called “The Open Door” by my neighbor who was also a professional musician.  When his band was in town, I would go hear the band play if I was not playing a “gig” with my own rock band.

Anyway, I went and heard The Word through this fireball minister who would cover about 60 verses per hour.  I was unexpectedly immersed in The Word every time I went to The Open Door.  I actually went to hear my neighbor play during the breaks.  Clearly, FATHER had other plans. 

The Open Door had an upper room and when I asked about the baptism of The Holy Spirit, the elder took me upstairs and led me to receive The Baptism with the evidence of speaking in Tongues.  I was totally inexperienced in The Word but I had no resistance to what FATHER was offering.  I easily received The Baptism.

When I received this hidden treasure, my life totally changed course.  I quit the band and sold my gear.  I assumed that I would never play bass guitar again since it represented the world.  I gave up everything I knew to proceed on this new course.  My story is similar to many others and it is just another confirmation of what Jesus did for you and me.  He is our Example and I simply submitted to The Holy Spirit He sent.

I received Jesus when I was twelve but received The Holy Spirit when I was twenty.  FATHER was patient with me during those eight years and I am truly grateful as I look back at that time period.

I only share this story to assure you that your book in Heaven has brought you to this place at this time just like my book has orchestrated our unity in Christ.  FATHER prepared me to teach and share the revelation of The Sons of GOD to those who have ears to hear. 

Some have rejected the teaching in the Gospel of John whereas others have embraced the revelation.  Those are among the remnant which FATHER reserves in each generation.  The Trinity decided our individual books before we were formed in the womb to live in this generation.  We are simply responding to FATHER’S Divine Intent and submitting to The Holy Spirit.

As the Beloved Disciple wrote in John chapter 1:

12 But those who embraced Him and took hold of His Name

    He gave authority to become

    the children of God!

Each of us is willing to serve FATHER in whatever capacity HE assigns us.  As for me, I purpose to be led by THE SPIRIT more and more.  There are times I have totally failed in the past but FATHER’S great grace and mercy was present to deliver me.  Jesus’ Blood covered my sins and I was fully restored.  He will pursue each of us to be fully reconciled unto Him.  Yes, we do have a choice of which path we will take.

I urge you to join me in the Unity only found in Agape Love.  As we accept Absolute Truth which is unique to Heaven, we will not be moved by the world’s truth and temporary facts.

We are His hidden treasure so let us walk in that reality!

PS:  Six years after I sold my guitar, FATHER told me to start playing bass guitar in the small church we were attending.  I reminded HIM that I did not have a guitar.  Forty-five minutes later, a man came up to the pastor and told him that GOD instructed him to give the church a bass guitar.  I began playing bass the next week and continued playing for twenty years until FATHER released me.

We are living in challenging times and could easily get discouraged by the current environment.  When Jesus was asked about the times just before His return, He responded in Matthew chapter 24:

3 Later, when they arrived at the Mount of Olives, his disciples came privately to where He was sitting and said, “Tell us, when will these things happen? And what sign should we expect to signal Your coming and the completion of this age?”

4 Jesus answered, “At that time deception will run rampant. So beware that you are not fooled! 5 For many will appear on the scene claiming My authority or saying about themselves, ‘I am the Anointed One,’ and they will lead many astray.

6 “You will hear of wars and revolutions on every side, with more rumors of wars to come. Don’t panic or give in to your fears, for the breaking apart of the world’s systems is destined to happen. But it won’t yet be the end; it will still be unfolding.

7 “Nations will go to war against nations and kingdoms against kingdoms. And there will be terrible earthquakes, horrible epidemics, and famines in place after place. 8 This is how the birth pains of the new age will begin!”

Does this sound familiar?  You can mark off everything Jesus included in His description of the end times and know that these are now current events.  Be of good cheer for FATHER put us here for such a time as this.  We must not allow ourselves to become discouraged because of the apparent timing and enfolding of events.

When you and I were formed in the womb, our books were already written and our provision was already set aside.  The required power and authority are awaiting full activation in most cases so let us not allow the enemy to discourage us from our mission.  David himself had to deal with discouragement so what did he do?

It is written by The Holy Spirit in 1^st Samuel chapter 30:

6 Now David was greatly distressed, for the people spoke of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and his daughters. But David strengthened himself in the LORD his God.

7 Then David said to Abiathar the priest, Ahimelech’s son, “Please bring the ephod here to me.” And Abiathar brought the ephod to David. 8 So David inquired of the LORD, saying, “Shall I pursue this troop? Shall I overtake them?”

And He answered him, “Pursue, for you shall surely overtake them and without fail recover all.”

There are days when I must encourage myself in THE LORD and remind myself of HIS past actions on my behalf.  I must recount the many testimonies of FATHER’s goodness in my life.  I must also remember the many times when HE delivered me out adversity.  When we recount FATHER’S acts of Love for us, we change the dis- to en- thus we become encouraged.

The devil and his minions would love to keep us in a discouraged state of mind.  It is not going to happen!  Once we identify the situation, we can remedy it by praying in The Holy Spirit and build ourselves up in the most Holy faith.  We can then meditate on promises such as what Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Ephesians 3:

20 Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.

There is power within each of us.  We must not let this power remain dormant and only stay in the potential category.  This power must be activated by our acts according to The Word.  Let us go about doing good and when we do, discouragement will dissipate from our midst.

Total immersion in The Word quickly moves you to fruitfulness.

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in 1^st Timothy chapter 4:

11 Instruct and teach the people all that I’ve taught you. 12 And don’t be intimidated by those who are older than you; simply be the example they need to see by being faithful and true in all that you do. Speak the Truth and live a life of purity and authentic Love as you remain strong in your faith.

13 So until I come, be diligent in devouring the Word of God, be faithful in prayer, and in teaching the believers.

14 Don’t minimize the powerful gift that operates in your life, for it was imparted to you by the laying on of hands of the elders and was activated through the prophecy they spoke over you. 15 Make all of this your constant meditation and make it real with your life so everyone can see that you are moving forward. 16 Give careful attention to your spiritual life and every cherished Truth you teach, for living what you preach will release salvation inside you and to all those who listen to you.

As we consistently meditate on The Word and walk in Agape Love, people will detect the change in our lives.  The purity we promote will impact them and in some cases convict them of their error.  As we immerse ourselves in The Word, we become authentic to others and they will respect our walk.

THE LORD spoke to Joshua in chapter 1:

8 This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.

Joshua had spent much time in the Tent of meeting thus his heart was prepared to directly hear the Words from FATHER.  He had become sensitive to THE SPIRIT since he had separated himself from those who had maintained the Egyptian mindset of bondage.

Malachi wrote by THE SPIRIT in chapter 3:

16 ​​Then those who feared the LORD spoke to one another,

​​And the LORD listened and heard them;

​​So a book of remembrance was written before Him

​​For those who fear the LORD

​​And who meditate on His name.

​

17 ​​“They shall be Mine,” says the LORD of hosts,

​​“On the day that I make them My jewels.

​​And I will spare them

​​As a man spares his own son who serves him.”

18 ​​Then you shall again discern

​​Between the righteous and the wicked,

​​Between one who serves God

​​And one who does not serve Him.

As we immerse ourselves in The Word and walk in the Fear of THE LORD, we become HIS jewels.  Those who are righteous look for opportunities to serve and solve problems of others.  FATHER rewards their intent and their actions with HIS blessings.  The angels are dispatched to gather resources on behalf of the righteous.  Let us immerse ourselves in The Word daily!

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in 2^nd Timothy chapter 1:

1 My beloved son, I pray for a greater release of God’s grace, Love, and total well-being to flow into your life from God our Father and from our Lord Jesus Christ!

Paul prayed for a release to flow from Timothy and us and this includes the healing power (total wellbeing).  Healing is inside of us for the resurrection power is within us.  Thus our healing needs to come out from within.

6 I’m writing to encourage you to fan into a flame and rekindle the fire of the Spiritual gift God imparted to you when I laid my hands upon you. 7 For GOD will never give you the spirit of fear, but the Holy Spirit who gives you mighty power, Love, and self-control.

There are times when each of us needs to “fan the flames” and rekindle the fire of the Spiritual gift inside.  We must not allow ourselves to grow weary in doing good, knowing that Our Heavenly Father is with us even in the mundane activities  find ourselves in.  Let us do everything as pleasing to FATHER.  Agape Love even pays attention to the little insignificant things in life.

8 So never be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor be embarrassed over my imprisonment, but overcome every evil by the revelation of the power of GOD! 9 HE gave us resurrection life and drew us to HIMSELF by His Holy calling on our lives. And it wasn’t because of any good we have done, but by His Divine pleasure and marvelous grace that confirmed our union with the anointed Jesus, even before time began! 10 This Truth is now being unveiled by the revelation of the anointed Jesus, our Life-giver, Who has dismantled death, obliterating all its effects on our lives, and has manifested his immortal life in us by the Gospel.

Our Heavenly Father was not surprised by the fall of man for THEY had already put a plan in place to redeem mankind… before the foundation of the world.  The devil knows this and is already defeated.  He relies on man’s ignorance to promote his agenda, even though short-lived.

13 Allow the healing words you’ve heard from me to live in you and make them a model for life as your faith and Love for the Anointed One grows even more. 14 Guard well this incomparable treasure by the Spirit of Holiness living within you.

We must guard our Love and faith in Christ Jesus for you know that the adversary will challenge our revelation on all fronts.  There is no one greater than Our Lord Jesus Christ and we must not allow ourselves to grow lukewarm in our Love or faith IN HIM.  It matters not how I feel each day, I press on to the high mark of HIS Calling in my life.  I encourage you to do the same.  Fan the flames!

Peter wrote by The Holy Spirit in 2^nd Peter chapter 2:

1 In the past there arose false prophets among God’s people, just as there will continue to be false teachers who will secretly infiltrate in your midst to divide you, bringing with them their destructive heresies. They will even deny the Master, who paid the price for them, bringing swift destruction on themselves. 2 Many will follow immoral lifestyles. Because of these corrupt false teachers, the way of Truth will be slandered. 3 They are only out for themselves, ready to exploit you for their own gain through their cunning arguments. Their condemnation has been a long time coming. But their destruction does not slumber or sit idly by, for it is sure to come.

How can we guard against false prophets and teachers?  We must keep The Word before us at all times so that their cunning arguments will be exposed by The Absolute Truth of The Word.  They will attempt to exploit us for personal gain and will be somewhat convincing in their tactics.  Their half-truths will be believable to those who don’t know The Word.  They may sound good in what they say, but The Holy Spirit will give you and me a check when we hear such corruption and error.

4 Now, don’t forget, God had no pity for the angels when they sinned but threw them into the lowest, darkest dungeon of gloom and locked them in chains, where they are firmly held until the judgment of torment.

5 And HE did not spare the former world in the days of Noah when HE sent a flood to destroy a depraved world (although HE protected Noah, the preacher of righteousness, along with seven members of his family).

As we see judgment coming upon the world, we must not panic.  Noah was derided until the flood came.  His faith was rewarded as he and his family were spared from the judgment on the rest of the world.  FATHER always protects HIS Remnant.  Was the judgment unanticipated by FATHER?  No, HE always has plans in place to move HIS Kingdom forward.  However, the land had to be cleansed from the unrighteousness.

6 And don’t forget that HE reduced to ashes the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah, condemning them to ruin and destruction. God appointed them to be examples as to what is coming to the ungodly. 7 Yet HE rescued a righteous man, Lot, suffering the indignity of the unbridled lusts of the lawless. 8 For righteous Lot lived among them day after day, distressed in his righteous soul by the rebellious deeds he saw and heard.

9 If the Lord Yahweh rescued Lot, HE knows how to continually rescue the Godly from their trials and to reserve the ungodly for punishment on the day of judgment. 10 And this especially applies to those who live their lives despising authorities and who abandon themselves to chasing the depraved lusts of their flesh.

This 3^rd group who are clearly classified as “ungodly” will receive their due based on FATHER’S timing.  My soul is distressed by the rebellious deeds of this group.  They walk around in such arrogance as though they are untouchable.  They have orchestrated societal acceptance to some degree, but not so in The  Throne Room.

We must be vigilant and not allow ourselves to become collateral damage due to the spread of unrighteousness on the earth.  This is why I go into the Secret Place every morning in order to maintain a spiritual sensitivity for the day.  I recommend that you do the same!

Moses wrote by The Holy Spirit in Exodus chapter 33:

1 The LORD said to Moses, “Get going, you and the people you brought up from the land of Egypt. Go up to the land I swore to give to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. I told them, ‘I will give this land to your descendants.’ 2 And I will send an angel before you to drive out the Canaanites, Amorites, Hittites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites.

3 Go up to this land that flows with milk and honey. But I will not travel among you, for you are a stubborn and rebellious people. If I did, I would surely destroy you along the way.”

4 When the people heard these stern words, they went into mourning and stopped wearing their jewelry and fine clothes. 5 For the LORD had told Moses to tell them, “You are a stubborn and rebellious people. If I were to travel with you for even a moment, I would destroy you. Remove your jewelry and fine clothes while I decide what to do with you.” 6 So from the time they left Mount Sinai, the Israelites wore no more jewelry or fine clothes.

FATHER had a corrective interview with the children of Israel. 

The word stubborn means: Unreasonably obstinate; inflexibly fixed in opinion; not to be moved or persuaded by reasons; inflexible; as a stubborn son; a stubborn mind or soul.

The word rebellious means: Engaged in rebellion; renouncing the authority and dominion of the government to which allegiance is due; traitorously resisting government or lawful authority.

These two words pretty well sum up the mindset of the people.  Their mindsets had not changed since their departure from Egypt, even with all the miracles, signs, and wonders.  Where do you think they got their fine clothing and jewelry?  From the Egyptians!  They looked like the world they just left.

There were only three men who had changed: Moses, Joshua, and Caleb.  The last two were silently serving while Moses was at the forefront.

7 It was Moses’ practice to take the Tent of Meeting and set it up some distance from the camp. Everyone who wanted to make a request of the LORD would go to the Tent of Meeting outside the camp.

8 Whenever Moses went out to the Tent of Meeting, all the people would get up and stand in the entrances of their own tents. They would all watch Moses until he disappeared inside. 9 As he went into the tent, the pillar of cloud would come down and hover at its entrance while the LORD spoke with Moses. 10 When the people saw the cloud standing at the entrance of the tent, they would stand and bow down in front of their own tents. 11 Inside the Tent of Meeting, the LORD would speak to Moses face (pānîm) to face (pānîm), as one speaks to a friend. Afterward Moses would return to the camp, but the young man who assisted him, Joshua son of Nun, would remain behind in the Tent of Meeting.

The Hebrew word pānîm is plural for face, i.e., faces.

There is no greater privilege than to be called a friend by Our Heavenly Father.  Moses knew HIS ways whereas the people only saw HIS acts.  Each of us has the opportunity to be called friend similar to Moses.  After all, we are HIS Sons and Daughters.  As we mature, we also become friends because of fellowship.  We are then able to see FATHER’S many faces as well.  FATHER knows us as HIS Remnant! 

As part of the remnant, we remain steadfast in moving forward with FATHER no matter what the circumstances or situations we find ourselves in with the world.  What the world has to offer is not of importance to us thus our focus remains on expanding the Kingdom of GOD on the earth.  It is the angels’ responsibility to gather up resources for our use. 

Our focus must be kept in the Secret Place just as it was for not only Moses, but Joshua also.  Joshua was patient as he was being prepared to complete the task of taking a people into the Promised Land and satisfying FATHER’S Covenant.  We must be patient too.

Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the Truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.
