The Effective Prayer Life

Friday, September 26th, 2025

What does prayer do?

Prayer makes unseen things that are actually more real than what is visible.  When we pray, we are drawing on a strength that is superior to everything else we could possibly accomplish or access.  Prayerfulness unclutters the eyes to see what is real.

Those who have been focused on cleansing the soul are in a position for a more effective prayer life.  The world wants you focused elsewhere.  FATHER will sustain us no matter what is happening in the world right now.  HE will navigate us through every situation that confronts us.

Jesus spoke in Matthew chapter 5:

43 “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’

44 But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you,

45 that you may be sons of Your Father in Heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.

What would have happened if Jesus would have cursed those who persecuted Him?  They would have been dead within 24 hours, similar to the fig tree.  We are to pray FOR them who spitefully use us and persecute us.  He is addressing those who are born again to rise up to be sons and daughters that have been “perfected” in their walk.

When you exercise your right to come before THE ALMIGHTY GOD and use the opportunity to pray on behalf of someone who has opposed you, it is made clear in the entire spirit realm that you are a child of GOD.

You are using your authority to come before a Perfect Father and pray on behalf of someone who has opposed you.  Your identity in Christ becomes manifest.

Jesus also emphasized and spoke in Luke chapter

6: “But I say to you who hear, Love your enemies and do something wonderful for them in return for their hatred.

28 When someone curses you, bless that person in return. When others mistreat and harass you, accept it as your mission to pray for them.

29 To those who despise you, continue to serve them and minister to them. If someone takes away your coat, give him as a gift your shirt as well.

30 When someone comes to beg from you, give to that person what you have. When things are wrongly taken from you, do not demand they be given back.

31 The way you want others to treat you is how you should treat everyone else.

35 Rather love your enemies and continue to treat them well. When you lend money, don’t despair if you are never paid back, for it is not lost. You will receive a rich reward and you will be known as true children of the Most High God, having His same Nature.

Be like Your Father Who is famous for His kindness to heal even the thankless and cruel.

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Romans chapter 8:

19 For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing (unveiling the glory of Jesus Christ) of the Sons of God.

20 For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it in hope;

21 because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious (unveiling and) liberty of the children of God.

When I can truly say, “As He is, so am I”, I will be unveiling His glory to people around me.  I must pray as Jesus directed.

Kids In Need Update

Another Testimony:

We had a meeting with a parent yesterday. One of the issues we discussed was that we have recently been having an issue keeping the his shoes on- a lot of this is due to shoes not fitting him properly because of medical braces (AFOs) that he has to wear. This causes him to run around his classroom and the school with nothing but socks on. His mom is trying so hard to get her feet back on the ground, but there have been a lot of set-backs. Most recently, the child has had some significant health issues causing her to have to miss quite a bit of work to stay home with him. In his meeting yesterday, we discussed getting him adaptive shoes that are designed to be worn with his AFOs. The student’s physical therapist was in here and knew that Target sells the type of shoes that would work for him. We were able to get online and let the PT and the student’s mom pick out some shoes for him and get them ordered for them.

Thank you so much for giving US the gift of being able to meet a big need on the spot!

Pray!

Pray without ceasing!

Prayerlessness causes you to deal with circumstances you never should have faced.

Jesus spoke in Luke chapter 22:

45 When Jesus finished praying, He got up and went to His disciples and found them all asleep, for they were exhausted and overwhelmed with sorrow.

46 “Why are you sleeping?” He asked them. “You need to be alert and pray for the strength to endure the great temptation.”

Jesus found it necessary to pray, we should too.  The disciples failed to pray and did not have the strength to endure what was about to take place.

Prayerlessness robs us of creativity, strength, discernment, and Wisdom from Above.  It robs us of who we are in Christ.

Jesus spoke in Matthew chapter 5:

43 “Your ancestors have also been taught ‘Love your neighbors and hate the one who hates you.’

44 However, I say to you, love your enemy, bless the one who curses you, do something wonderful for the one who hates you, and respond to the very ones who persecute you by praying for them.

45 For that will reveal your identity as children of Your Heavenly Father. He is kind to all by bringing the sunrise to warm and rainfall to refresh whether a person does what is good or evil.

46 What reward do you deserve if you only love the loveable? Don’t even the tax collectors do that?

47 How are you any different from others if you limit your kindness only to your friends? Don’t even the ungodly do that?

48 Since you are children of a Perfect Father in Heaven, become perfect like Him.”

Are we complaining about our enemy or are we praying for those who have wronged us?  I must admit that in the past I have complained about those who have been unjust toward me or my family, whether it be personal, political, or social in nature.  I have had to repent for those words that have been unrighteous.  Complaining is a form of cursing someone.

Jesus also spoke in Mark chapter 11:

22 So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God.

23 For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.

24 Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.

25 And whenever you stand praying, if you find that you carry something in your heart against another person, release him and forgive him so that your Father in Heaven will also release you and forgive you of your faults.

26 But if you will not release forgiveness, don’t expect your Father in Heaven to release you from your misdeeds.”

Most of us have focused on verses 23 and 24 of these Words of Jesus.  However, they are conditional on our willingness to forgive and release others who have wronged us.  If we retain unforgiveness in our hearts for anyone, we cannot expect our prayers of faith to be fulfilled.

Jesus prayed often and so should we.  Praying daily and in the morning prepares you for the day at hand.

Our Words

Wednesday, September 24th, 2025

What words we speak are vital to our future!

We must carefully watch over our words for in them is contained life or death.

Wisdom speaks in Proverbs chapter 18:

21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit.

In other Words, your words are so powerful that they will kill or give life, and the talkative person will reap the consequences.

Jesus spoke in Mark chapter 11:

22 So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God.

23 For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.

24 Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.

You don’t go talk to GOD about your mountain; you talk to the mountain about GOD.

You speak to your problem, and you say to it, such as an inanimate object such as pain, depart in the Name of Jesus!  You must not doubt in your heart for your faith to operate in such an effective manner.

How do you develop to such a level of faith?

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Romans chapter 10:

17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.

Faith grows as you immerse yourself in the Word.  If you focus on what the world says, your faith will become diluted and ultimately become of none effect, you will become void of The Word.

Jesus enlightened us as He spoke concerning the parable of the sower in Mark chapter 4:

13 And Jesus said to them, “Do you not understand this parable? How then will you understand all the parables?

14 The sower sows the Word.

15 And these are the ones by the wayside where the Word is sown. When they hear, Satan comes immediately and takes away the Word that was sown in their hearts.

16 These likewise are the ones sown on stony ground who, when they hear the Word, immediately receive It with gladness;

17 and they have no root in themselves, and so endure only for a time. Afterward, when tribulation or persecution arises for the Word’s sake, immediately they stumble.

18 Now these are the ones sown among thorns; they are the ones who hear the Word,

19 and the cares of this world, the deceitfulness of riches, and the desires for other things entering in choke the Word, and It becomes unfruitful.

20 But these are the ones sown on good ground, those who hear the Word, accept it, and bear fruit: some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some a hundred.”

When you focus on the cares of this world, the deceitfulness of riches, and the desires for other things, you become unfruitful.  It is your decision on what you allow yourself to watch and hear.

I urged you to participate in the 30-day soul cleanse to remove worldly seeds that have been planted in the past.  Each of us determines the level of faith we want to walk in, and what impact we want to make through our words in our daily lives.

Who Is FATHER Seeking?

Tuesday, September 23rd, 2025

Is FATHER seeking you?

FATHER is seeking those who have a true heart for HIM.

The Beloved Disciple wrote by The Holy Spirit in John chapter 4:

23 But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in Spirit and Truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him.

24 God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in Spirit and Truth.”

How many people offer worship in lip service only?  True worship requires not only words but actions as well.

Matthew recorded by The Holy Spirit in Matthew chapter 14:

24 But the disciples, who were now in the middle of the lake, ran into trouble, for their boat was tossed about by the high winds and heavy seas.

25 At about four o’clock in the morning, Jesus came to them, walking on the waves!

26 When the disciples saw Him walking on top of the water, they were terrified and screamed, “A ghost!”

27 Then Jesus said, “Be brave and don’t be afraid. I am here!”

28 Peter shouted out, “Lord, if it’s really You, then have me join You on the water!”

29 “Come and join Me,” Jesus replied. So Peter stepped out onto the water and began to walk toward Jesus.

30 But when he realized how high the waves were, he became frightened and started to sink. “Save me, Lord!” he cried out.

31 Jesus immediately stretched out His Hand and lifted him up and said, “What little faith you have! Why would you let doubt win?”

32 And the very moment they both stepped into the boat, the raging wind ceased. 33 Then all the disciples bowed down before Him and worshiped Jesus. They said in adoration, “You are truly the Son of God!”

Here, the word worship denotes three aspects: to bow, to kiss, and to pay homage… all three are included in this verse.

To pay homage means to show deep respect, admiration, and honor to someone or something, often publicly, by offering tribute through actions or words. It’s a way to acknowledge someone’s significance, achievements, or influence.

Are we truly paying homage to Jesus in our words and actions?  Recently, I urged the readers to purge their souls for thirty days.  Peter speaks of the purifying of our souls.

Peter wrote by The Holy Spirit in 1st Peter chapter 1:

22 Now, because of your obedience to the Truth, you have purified your very souls, and this empowers you to be full of Love for your fellow believers. So express this sincere Love toward one another passionately and with a pure heart.

When we focus on walking with a pure heart, we worship Our Heavenly Father by our actions.  What is the result?

Jesus spoke in Matthew chapter 5:

8 Blessed are the pure in heart, For they shall see God.

Do you honor and worship GOD with your tithes and offerings?  When we do, we acknowledge HIS supremacy over our lives and finances.  In turn, this allows FATHER to fulfill HIS Covenant of blessing over our lives.

Jesus spoke this Truth in Luke chapter 6:

38 Give generously and generous gifts will be given back to you, shaken down to make room for more. Abundant gifts will pour out upon you with such an overflowing measure that it will run over the top! The measurement of your generosity becomes the measurement of your return.”

My wife and I can testify of this Truth!

Do you qualify as a true worshipper if you don’t offer tithes and/or offerings to HIM?  Ask HIM.

Understanding The End Time Mystery of Trumpets

Feast Of Trumpets

Monday, September 22nd, 2025

Rosh Hashanah 5786 begins at sundown on the eve of Tishrei 1 (Sept. 22, 2025) and ends after nightfall on Tishrei 2 (Sept. 24, 2025).

Leviticus 23:23-25 NKJV
Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, [24] “Speak to the children of Israel, saying: ‘In the seventh month, on the first day of the month, you shall have a sabbath-rest, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, a holy convocation. [25] You shall do no customary work on it; and you shall offer an offering made by fire to the LORD.'”

The trumpet marks the closing of the age. It is the sound of war. Get ready!

Matthew 24:4-7 NKJV
And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you. [5] For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many. [6] And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. [7] For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places.

The Lesson From Hezekiah

Monday, September 22nd, 2025

You and I are here for a Divine assignment, not simply to occupy space!

We are here to bring the reality of GOD’S Presence, of HIS Mind, of HIS Will into culture itself.  We are to establish an environment that promotes this reality.  GOD is looking for a city that will belong entirely to HIM.

Hezekiah or Hizkiah or Hizkijah = “Jehovah is my strength”

It is written by The Holy Spirit in 2nd Kings chapter 18:

1 Now it came to pass in the third year of Hoshea the son of Elah, king of Israel, that Hezekiah the son of Ahaz, king of Judah, began to reign.

2 He was twenty-five years old when he became king, and he reigned twenty-nine years in Jerusalem. His mother’s name was Abi the daughter of Zechariah.

3 And he did what was right in the sight of the LORD, according to all that his father David had done.

4 He removed the high places and broke the sacred pillars, cut down the wooden image and broke in pieces the bronze serpent that Moses had made; for until those days the children of Israel burned incense to it, and called it Nehushtan (a thing of brass).

The children were worshipping the tool, the serpent, rather than the ONE Who healed them. This brazen serpent became the center of idol worship.  They were worshipping the “routines” derived from the original revelation in the wilderness.

All miracles and signs point to a Person and the moment I lose sight of the Person, I’ll worship the sign.

5 He trusted in the LORD God of Israel, so that after him was none like him among all the kings of Judah, nor who were before him.

6 For he held fast to the LORD; he did not depart from following Him, but kept His commandments, which the LORD had commanded Moses.

7 The LORD was with him; he prospered wherever he went. And he rebelled against the king of Assyria and did not serve him.

The blessing of THE LORD creates a momentum in our life.  We must be diligent to not serve the momentum, but instead we are to serve the Source: Our Heavenly Father.

Jesus emphasized this when He spoke in Matthew chapter 6:

33 But seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these (less important) things shall be added to you (in abundance).

We are not to serve “the things”!

During those fifteen years, what happened?

It is written by The Holy Spirit in 2nd Chronicles chapter 32:

27 Hezekiah had very great riches and honor. And he made himself treasuries for silver, for gold, for precious stones, for spices, for shields, and for all kinds of desirable items;

28 storehouses for the harvest of grain, wine, and oil; and stalls for all kinds of livestock, and folds for flocks.

29 Moreover he provided cities for himself, and possessions of flocks and herds in abundance; for God had given him very much property.

30 This same Hezekiah also stopped the water outlet of Upper Gihon, and brought the water by tunnel to the west side of the City of David. Hezekiah prospered in all his works.

As a result, Hezekiah’s heart was lifted up and pride entered in.

31 However, regarding the ambassadors of the princes of Babylon, whom they sent to him to inquire about the wonder that was done in the land, God withdrew from him, in order to test him, that He might know all that was in his heart.

When he was sick unto death, he cried out to THE LORD, but when things were going exceedingly well, he forgot WHO delivered him and pride entered in.  Let us not forget WHO is our Provider in the good times of prosperity!

What was the sign of Hezekiah’s pride?

In 2 Kings chapter 20:

12 At that time Berodach-Baladan the son of Baladan, king of Babylon, sent letters and a present to Hezekiah, for he heard that Hezekiah had been sick.

13 And Hezekiah was attentive to them, and showed them all the house of his treasures-the silver and gold, the spices and precious ointment, and all his armory-all that was found among his treasures. There was nothing in his house or in all his dominion that Hezekiah did not show them.

14 Then Isaiah the prophet went to King Hezekiah, and said to him, “What did these men say, and from where did they come to you?” So Hezekiah said, “They came from a far country, from Babylon.”

15 And he said, “What have they seen in your house?” So Hezekiah answered, “They have seen all that is in my house; there is nothing among my treasures that I have not shown them.”

Only an insecure leader needing to impress, would show off his treasures.  Hezekiah was trying to attract favor on a natural level rather than by the Divine relationship with THE LORD.  Once again, let us not forget WHO is our Provider in the good times of prosperity!

Soul Cleanse: Day 27

Thursday, September 18th, 2025

The Psalmist urges us to sing to THE LORD. True worship music will build up our souls. Music will impact us, either good or bad, depending on what we listen to. The world know this and think about what has happened in the last 50+ years.

Psalm 9:11

Sing praises to the LORD, who dwells in Zion!

Declare His deeds among the people.

Psalm 18:49

Therefore I will give thanks to You, O LORD, among the Gentiles,

And sing praises to Your name.

Psalm 27:6

And now my head shall be lifted up above my enemies all around me;

Therefore I will offer sacrifices of joy in His tabernacle;

I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the LORD.

Psalm 47:6

Sing praises to God, sing praises!

Sing praises to our King, sing praises!
