Abundance of Idleness

Tuesday, August 16th, 2016

Ezekiel 16:

49 Look, this was the iniquity of your sister Sodom: She and her daughter had pride, fullness of food, and abundance of idleness; neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy.

50 And they were haughty and committed abomination before Me; therefore I took them away as I saw fit.

The NIV version:

"‘Now this was the sin of your sister Sodom: She and her daughters were arrogant, overfed and unconcerned; they did not help the poor and needy.  They were haughty and did detestable things before me. Therefore I did away with them as you have seen.”

Love does not sit around in a passive state waiting for some future event to occur to announce some form of “activation”.  Jesus did not begin His ministry by proceeding to the Temple and taking up residence there for those in need to parade before Him.  He went out to where the people were at and in need.

Sodom’s description sounds alarmingly a lot like the western world of today.  While people are in extreme need, the affluent nations play the Pokemon Go app with their cell phones.  Clearly there is an abundance of idleness.  The word haughty means arrogantly superior and disdainful and that sums up what people of many other countries think of Americans.  FATHER is not blinded to the disgusting acts that go on in this world today and will surely reconcile the situation at some point in the near future.  Only the existence of the remnant allows for the extension of mercy in the midst of the lawlessness which abounds in many countries.

When asked about the end times in Matthew chapter 24, Jesus spoke:

9 “Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake.

10 And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another.

11 Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many.

12 And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold.

13 But he who endures to the end shall be saved.

14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.

Jesus warned us of these times that are now upon us and we must not let our Love grow cold but must endure to the end.  It is imperative that we set ourselves to hear FATHER’S instructions each and every day.  There will be times we speak and other times when we are to remain silent and let HIS judgment proceed without hindrance of distraction.  We must not let our emotions dictate our intervention in HIS decision to bring forth either judgment or mercy.  HIS Ways are true and just.

There will be those who are ensnared by their own words and actions even though they have been given ample opportunity to repent.  Some who have been called to the ministry but took another path other than the straight and narrow path thus they devised schemes to acquire followers for personal gain.  They will receive their reward.

Faith acts and produces good fruit so let us not be found idle when the culmination of the Age arrives.  We must remember that the tares were bundled up and burned when that day is upon us.  A tare is an injurious weed that looks like wheat while it is still young.  It consumes resources which are meant for the wheat to grow and mature.  The farmer is unable to remove the tares until harvest so he doesn’t pull up the wheat by mistake.  The unproductive servants are as tares and they will be removed and dealt with appropriately.  Until we are fully matured, the false prophets will await their judgment.

Let our Love become active and minister to those whom FATHER has placed in our path.  If we open our eyes and ears we will find those who are in need of our ministry.

Black Swan

Saturday, June 25th, 2016

Brett (British Exist from the European Union) appears to be a black swan event.  Gold closed $72 higher yesterday and there is a notable probability that this is the beginning of sustained volatility in the markets.  Do not be surprised if the current fragile system’s collapse is now to be blamed on Brexit.

Highly margined investors will be required to raise cash immediately to meet coming margin calls.  Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday may see further selling causing further market declines.  Only FATHER knows how it will go down.

We have been warning people for the past eight years to simplify, to get out of debt, and acquire precious metals… even if only one silver coin per month.  Until FATHER fully deploys HIS Sons and Daughters, it is important to “occupy” until HIS anointing comes forth.  No matter what happens, be of good courage for FATHER is fully aware of what will take place.

Dealing with the adversary

Friday, June 24th, 2016

In Ephesians chapter 4, by THE SPIRIT Paul wrote:

27  and do not give the devil an opportunity.

We must be vigilant and not allow ourselves to become subject to the devil who is opposed to FATHER’S Perfect plan, Will, and purpose.  The adversary would want us to hold on to anger concerning a situation and let it turn to bitterness in our hearts.  If that happens, our ability to hear and respond is reduced by some degree.  Then we ourselves become adversaries to HIS Will.  We must not let our preconceived notions hold us back from fulfilling HIS perfect plan.  We should be willing to change as HE further reveals HIS plan to us.

If the devil did not exist, neither Jesus nor His disciples would warn us against this entity.  This adversary would attempt to have us compromise our purpose just as he did when Jesus was tempted in the wilderness.  As we overcome any and all temptations set before us we are empowered in a greater degree than before the tempting.  Let us be consistent in standing against the wiles of the devil.

Paul further wrote by THE SPIRIT in chapter 6:

10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.

11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.

13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

If the devil was a non-issue would we be warned and directed in such a manner?  Of course not.  We must not fear this created being who was unable to affect the ministry of our elder Brother Jesus Christ.  Instead we must simply maintain our awareness of the subtle attempts to move us from that narrow path of which Jesus spoke.  We must not enter into debates about doctrine that have little or no impact on eternity.  We should focus on positively impacting mankind from our individual vantage points and become HIS expression of unconditional Love on earth.

Don’t be surprised if you are challenged as you take a stand to Love all of mankind.  If enemies arise, Love them and their power will be scattered and have none effect.  The Blood of Christ is sufficient to overcome any spiritual obstacle that presents itself in our midst. When you walk in faith which works by Love the enemy cannot stop you and FATHER will be your “rear guard”, HE will have your back.  Dealing with the adversary serves as an indicator of your maturity and progress.  Your faith is exercised as well and at some point you will realize you have “great faith”.  What a blessing!

Not Legalism But Christ

Wednesday, June 22nd, 2016

In Colossians chapter 2 Paul wrote:

16 So let no one judge you in food or in drink, or regarding a festival or a new moon or sabbaths,

17 which are a shadow of things to come, but the substance is of Christ.

18 Let no one cheat you of your reward, taking delight in false humility and worship of angels, intruding into those things which he has not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind,

19 and not holding fast to the Head, from whom all the body, nourished and knit together by joints and ligaments, grows with the increase that is from God.

There are those with great intellect who would try to convince us to follow them yet they are just men who have succumbed to the leading of their mind instead of being led by THE SPIRIT.  We are warned not to follow them but to follow the teachings of Christ which are entirely based on Love.  Some men would have us follow a prescribed means or method as though it is the key to THE DOOR yet how can a little child do so?  We must remind ourselves that the Gospel is simple enough for any man or woman to embrace it, walk in it, and be an overcomer.

The pharisees relied on the complexities of the traditions they arrived at to keep themselves set apart from the average man yet Jesus preached to the multitudes and selected His disciples from the masses.  Let us be reminded that legalism is not the path to sonship but Love is.  Acceptance, innocence, and forgiveness are simple guidelines to live our life by and as we do so, we will be nourished in whatever area we need to accomplish our purpose in life.

The traditions of man are often harsh and unattainable for the rest of us.  The mind would create complexities to cause us to walk in a never-ending quest for achieving some lofty goal out of our reach.  Jesus told us that the Kingdom is within us and is accessible to us all.  There is no formula necessary to enter in as some would lead us to believe.  Simply still your soul and quiet your mind.

Embrace the vastness of the universe and you will put rules and regulations in perspective.  Does the sun or moon care about man’s legalistic mandates?  No, they simply fulfill their purpose independent of man and his schemes.

Love is what joins and nourishes the body of Christ.  Strong tendons and ligaments allow greater things to be done with the body.  Jesus summed up the law by two commandments of Love.  How simple!  There is no need to memorize 613 commandments and statutes if you only embrace those two spoken by Jesus.  THE SPIRIT will guide you to do the right thing in all areas of your life as you submit to Love.  It worked for Jesus and it will work for us.

Who Do People See You As?

Saturday, June 18th, 2016

In Ephesians Chapter 5 Paul wrote by THE SPIRIT:

1 Therefore be imitators of God as dear children.

If it were not possible to imitate FATHER, HIS Holy Spirit would not tell us to do the impossible.  Think about, dwell, ponder, consider this simple Truth today!  It ties to what Jesus spoke in Matthew chapter 5:

48  “Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in Heaven in perfect.”

In Addition…

A Beloved Brother added:

Proverbs 11

24. There is that scatters and increases; and there is that withholds more than is meet, but it tends to poverty.

25. The liberal soul shall be made fat and he that waters shall be watered himself.

26. He that withhold corn, the people shall curse him, but blessing shall be on the head of him that sells it.

Be Not Double-Minded

Friday, April 15th, 2016

A double-minded man lives in a state of compromise and his word is unreliable.  He is unstable in all his ways.  In James chapter 1, he writes:

2 My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials,

3 knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience.

Testing and correction is necessary for attaining the high calling in Christ Jesus.  Any thing less is compromise and subject to loss and scarcity in the area of Spiritual Truths and associated fruit.  As a matter of fact, you place those whom you have influence in jeopardy of loss as well.  Those who are immature in Christ are looking for examples to follow and live by so you must be solemn in your responsibility to be a good example to those who you influence by your spirituality.

4 But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.

Faith and hope require patience and if you cannot stand a little heat from correction, you effectively have no patience and should not expect any reward from Heaven.  You may have “incidents” of success but those will be short lived and you will return to lack and wanting.  You will then wonder why FATHER isn’t blessing you… right now.

5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.

There is earthly, sensual wisdom and Wisdom from FATHER.  HIS Wisdom always superseded man’s wisdom and takes patience into account.  Men are always looking for a quick fix to their problems.  They get themselves into a mess and want FATHER to intervene only at those specific times.  HIS intervention tends to be consistent, corrective, and requires much patience.  FATHER is long-term oriented and HE has all the time it takes to mature HIS Sons.  Some men will attempt to label themselves in an effort to convince FATHER to bless them yet their actions would suggest they are vessels of dishonor.  FATHER knows their intent and will implement the necessary correction and/or judgment as is necessary.  It is best to distance yourself from such men when you see they are in the midst of correction lest you be swept into their judgment as well.

6 But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind.

7 For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord;

8 he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.

An unstable man looks at everyone else as the problem yet never looks into the mirror to find the issue.  An unstable man never counts the cost of his decisions but simply decides based on emotion and to satisfy his ego.  He will mortgage his future for a little satisfaction in the present.  His thinking rarely considers anything beyond a couple of days and his childish in his decisions.  He will use Scripture out of context to support his “unsupportable” position but will sell those around him concerning his apparent maturity.

Leaders quote verses from the Bible to put on an air of maturity yet their actions do not line up with the external appearances.  They attempt to use their credentials in lieu of the ability to hear from FATHER.  FATHER honors those who forget those things in the past and press on to the high calling.  Paul stated in Philippians chapter 3:

12 Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me.

13 Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do,forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead,

14 I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

When you set your mind and focus on the Spiritual, the physical will line up for it is at a lower level and subject to the Spiritual.  Do not submit to the cravings of the belly but know your citizenship is in Heaven:

17 Brethren, join in following my example, and note those who so walk, as you have us for a pattern.

18 For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ:

19 whose end is destruction, whose god is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame—who set their mind on earthly things.

20 For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ,

21 who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself.

Double-minded men try to live with dual citizenship but it will not work.  You must decide which path you will follow and not allow your belly to dictate your future.  You can’t walk on two paths at the same time.  It is your choice, just commit.

Course Correction

Tuesday, April 12th, 2016

Proverbs chapter 3 tell us:

11 My son, do not despise the chastening of the LORD,
Nor detest His correction;
12 For whom the LORD loves He corrects,
Just as a father the son in whom he delights.

Each of us believe we are walking in a correct manner according to our current understanding of life.  But what indicates to us that we have a need to change?  Our fruit or lack thereof.  If we are living in constant lack, division, turmoil, etc. then we probably need a course correction.  If something doesn’t seem to be consistently working in our lives then maybe we ought to seek some guidance and/or counsel.

FATHER may send someone across your path to shake things up with a course correction.  Most likely it will be something you were blind to and may be difficult to swallow at first. Often this counsel will take time to implement since your course may have been off for years but we must let patience have its perfect work.  Impatience will only cause the hole you are digging to get deeper.

Paul (who was Saul) was on the exact path he believed he was to follow yet Jesus had to correct it in a rather notable fashion.  Paul was meant to preach the Gospel, not kill Christians.  Did Paul immediately begin to spread the Gospel after his conversion?  Many believe based on Galatians chapter 1 that he waited 3 years before his ministry began.  Most young Christians have more energy than wisdom and want to go out before they are ready.  There are times we must tarry and wait for the power and authority to come upon us before we act.  We must be endued with power from On High else we will only suffer another failure.  That power will be our confirmation FATHER is finished correcting us.  Sometimes it will be a nudge to stay on the right path and other times it will seem like a body slam.  Either way, accept the correction.

The Value of Past Experience

Monday, April 11th, 2016

Would you rather trust in past experience or revelation from FATHER?  For mundane day-to-day activities, past experience allows you to handle tasks in a reasonable fashion.  There are disruptors that occur which change the way we do things.  The Internet is a fine example.  It has allowed people to order products from home with a click of a button.  But what about the greater issues in life?  How do you deal with the unexpected?

As chaos spreads across the world, it is of the utmost importance that each of us rely on Spiritual guidance rather than past experience.  Only FATHER knows the reality of what lies ahead and the illusions of mankind are soon to be exposed as the blindness of the masses is removed.

How do you proceed if you cannot hear HIS Voice in a consistent manner?  Scripture provides you a guide to live by, especially the Words of Jesus.  Divine unconditional Love is first and foremost to be understood and exercised.  The Law of seedtime and harvest is another… you reap what you sow.  Peace is the “umpire” of any decision and as I have written, peace is obtained from Above.  Jesus spoke in Matthew 24:

21 “For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be.

22 And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened.

23 “Then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or ‘There!’ do not believe it.

24 For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.

25 See, I have told you beforehand.”

You cannot believe every sign and wonder that would suggest a confirmation of a particular person’s power and authority.  You must be a fruit inspector and seek Wisdom from Above.  You must focus on becoming Spiritually mature as events unfold.  You cannot rely on past experience but instead ask FATHER to reveal those things necessary for you to be sustained in the coming months and years.  Revelation is greater than past experience.

The Ministry of Service

Wednesday, April 6th, 2016

There are two type of vessels- those of honor and those of dishonor.  The vessels of honor represent and carry the Gospel of Love to supply the Body of Christ in order for the Body to grow in unity and maturity.  In opposition, the vessels of dishonor extract resources meant for the Body of Christ in order to fulfill the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life.  Paul writes in Ephesians chapter 4:

11 And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers,

12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry (service), for the edifying of the body of Christ,

13 till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ;

The word edify means to instruct or improve (someone) morally or intellectually.  The purpose of the five-fold ministry is to promote and encourage the Body of Christ to become fully mature in stature and purpose, not keep the Body under submission for an indefinite time.  Each of us is called to become fully mature and perfected in our calling supplying the other joints in the body with nourishment as needed.  Our primary purpose on this earth is to mature into Divine unconditional Love.

Paul continues:

14 that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting,

15 but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ—

16 from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.

Paul describes those vessels of dishonor as being those who use trickery, cunning craftiness, and deceitful plotting.  It is clear that we must walk in discernment when encountering those who would pass themselves off as vessels of honor.  Trickery is the practice of deception.  The word cunning means having or showing skill in achieving one’s ends by deceit or evasion.  The word craftiness means: skilled in or marked by underhandedness, deviousness, or deception.  Those definitions provide us a good picture of a vessel of dishonor and unfortunately they don’t show up with those labels on their foreheads.  Jesus called some of them wolves in sheep’s clothing.  In Luke 20, Jesus had to deal with these vessels of dishonor:

20 So they watched Him, and sent spies who pretended to be righteous, that they might seize on His words, in order to deliver Him to the power and the authority of the governor.

21 Then they asked Him, saying, “Teacher, we know that You say and teach rightly, and You do not show personal favoritism, but teach the way of God in truth:

22 Is it lawful for us to pay taxes to Caesar or not?”

23 But He perceived their craftiness, and said to them, “Why do you test Me?

24 Show Me a denarius. Whose image and inscription does it have?”

They answered and said, “Caesar’s.”

25 And He said to them, “Render therefore to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s.”

26 But they could not catch Him in His words in the presence of the people. And they marveled at His answer and kept silent.

In their cunning and crafty methods, they first spoke Truth and attempted to flatter Jesus by confirming His ministry in verse 21.  That was simply an attempt of misdirection to redirect His focus away from the real intent.  We must remain vigilant to not allow those vessels to distract us from our purpose and calling.  They will attempt to get us to serve their agendas rather than FATHER’S Divine Intent for our lives.  In Matthew chapter 7, Jesus provided us a means to identify these wolves:

15 “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.

16 You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thorn bushes or figs from thistles?

17 Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit.

18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit.

19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.

20 Therefore by their fruits you will know them.”

In order that we not be consumed by the ravenous wolves, we must simply become fruit inspectors.  There are those who talk the talk but never yield any fruit.  They operate in a “deficit” at all times.  They never have anything to give but constantly want others to supply them instead.  It may take time to find out if there is any fruit but with patience you will get your answer.  Don’t let your ministry of service be misdirected and consumed in areas which are destined to failure and destruction.
