Deliverance: Part 7 – Summary

July 9, 2026 – 3:39 am
Jesus gave us power and authority over the devil and his demons! Jesus is our Perfect Example of what it means to walk in Spiritual maturity.  We must not disregard His ministry to set the captives free and this is done through the ministry of deliverance that Jesus operated in… and so should we.  However, we must focus on being fully led by The Holy Spirit as He was in His earthly ministry. The ministry of deliverance is the Biblical practice of setting people free from the influence, oppression, or possession of demonic spirits through the authority of Jesus Christ. Throughout the New Testament, it is presented as an important part of Jesus' ministry and the mission He entrusted to His disciples. Let us summarize the past writings: 1. Jesus Made Deliverance a Major Part of His Ministry The Gospels repeatedly show Jesus: Preaching the Kingdom of God. Healing the sick. Casting out demons. One of His first public ...

Deliverance: Part 6

July 8, 2026 – 3:57 am
Jesus gave us power and authority over the devil and his demons! Jesus fully exposed the devil and his devices.  With deliverance being roughly a third of Jesus’ ministry, we must not neglect this aspect of ministry.  We need to know our enemy and his devices! Matthew recorded by The Holy Spirit in Matthew chapter 4: 23 Jesus ministered from place to place throughout all of the province of Galilee. He taught in the synagogues, preaching the wonderful news of the Kingdom and healing every kind of sickness and disease among the people. 24 His fame spread throughout all Syria! Many people who were in pain and suffering with every kind of illness were brought to Jesus for their healing—epileptics, paralytics, and those tormented by demonic powers were all set free. Everyone who was brought to Jesus was healed! And in Matthew chapter 8: 14 Now when Jesus had come into Peter's house, He saw his ...

Deliverance: Part 5

July 7, 2026 – 3:05 am
Jesus gave us power and authority over the devil and his demons! Jesus fully exposed the devil and his devices.  With deliverance being roughly a third of Jesus’ ministry, we must not neglect this aspect of ministry.  We need to know our enemy and his devices! The Bible uses many different names, titles, symbols, and descriptive phrases for satan. Depending on how you count (whether you include only proper names or also symbolic descriptions), there are between 40 and 70 distinct descriptions. These descriptions reveal his character, methods, authority, and ultimate destiny. Here are the primary Biblical descriptions, grouped by category. 1. his identity satan — "Adversary" or "Opponent" (appears over 50 times) devil — "Slanderer" or "False Accuser" lucifer — "Morning Star" or "Shining One" (Isaiah 14:12, KJV tradition) The evil one The wicked one The tempter The accuser of the brethren The enemy 2. his position of authority Jesus acknowledged that satan currently exercises real, though limited, authority in the fallen world. prince ...

Deliverance: Part 4

July 6, 2026 – 3:08 am
Jesus gave us power and authority over demons! How many pastors are teaching this aspect of the Great Commission? The believer's primary mission is to do what Jesus commanded. The ministry of casting out demons was a significant part of the disciples' ministry. In the Gospels and the book of Acts, it is presented as a demonstration that the Kingdom of God had come and that Jesus Christ had authority over satan's kingdom.  Jesus did not reserve this ministry for Himself. He intentionally delegated His authority to His followers. Jesus commanded in Matthew chapter 10: 1 Jesus gathered His twelve disciples and imparted to them authority to cast out demons and to heal every sickness and every disease. Notice several important truths: The authority was given by Jesus, not earned. It was authority over unclean spirits. Casting out demons was listed alongside healing the sick. And in 7 And as you go, preach this message: ‘Heaven’s Kingdom realm is accessible, close ...

Deliverance: Part 3

July 5, 2026 – 3:30 am
We must not be reluctant to identify and deal with demons! How many pastors and believers skip over the chapters 16:17, and 18 in the Gospel of Mark? The believer's primary mission is to do what Jesus commanded. Jesus consistently emphasized: * Preach the Gospel. * Make disciples. * Love God and neighbor. * Teach obedience to His commands. Casting out demons supported the proclamation of God's Kingdom.  However, we must not lose our focus by such works. For example, after the seventy-two rejoiced over demons submitting to them, Jesus replied in Luke 10:20: "Do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rather rejoice because your names are written in Heaven." Their relationship with God was more important than Spiritual power. Not every Christian has the same ministry Paul the Apostle teaches in First Epistle to the Corinthians 12 that the Holy Spirit distributes different gifts and ministries. Not every believer has the same role.  Some Believers ...

Deliverance: Part 2

July 4, 2026 – 3:18 am
We must not be reluctant to identify and deal with demons! How many pastors and believers skip over the chapters 16:17, and 18 in the Gospel of Mark? What was Jesus’ primary mission? Jesus Himself stated His primary purpose: Luke recorded by The Holy Spirit in Luke chapter 4: 42 Now when it was day, Jesus departed and went into a deserted place. And the crowd sought Him and came to Him, and tried to keep Him from leaving them; 43 but He said to them, "I must preach the Kingdom of God to the other cities also, because for this purpose I have been sent." 44 And He was preaching in the synagogues of Galilee. Likewise, after large crowds sought healing, He often left to preach elsewhere. This suggests His priorities were approximately: Preaching and teaching: Primary mission. Healing and miracles: Confirmed His message and demonstrated God's Kingdom. Casting out demons: A significant part of demonstrating the Kingdom's authority over Satan, ...

Deliverance

July 3, 2026 – 3:45 am
We must not be reluctant to identify and deal with demons! When is the last time you heard a teaching from the pulpit dealing with casting out demons? Matthew is showing that Jesus is the promised Messiah with authority over every realm of creation, including demons. Matthew recorded by The Holy Spirit in Matthew chapter 9: 32 While they were leaving, some people brought before Jesus a demonized man who couldn’t speak. 33 Jesus cast the demon out of him, and immediately the man began to speak plainly. The crowds marveled in astonishment, saying, “We’ve never seen miracles like this in Israel!” 34 But the Pharisees kept saying, “The chief of demons is helping him drive out demons.” This verse concludes the account of Jesus healing a man who was unable to speak because he was demon-possessed. As soon as Jesus cast out the demon, the man immediately began to speak. This miracle comes near the end of ...

Having A Heart For The Poor

July 2, 2026 – 3:18 am
THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY has a heart for the poor! We do too! Throughout Scripture, FATHER’S character is consistently revealed as compassionate toward those in need. Jesus spoke in Matthew chapter 25: 31 "When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the Holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the Throne of His glory. This is not referring to His first coming but to His return as King and Judge. Unlike His humble birth in Bethlehem, He comes in glory with all the angels to judge every nation. 32 All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats. 33 And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left. Jesus says He will separate people: Sheep on His right hand Goats on His left Biblically: Sheep symbolize those who belong to God because they hear ...

Warning!

July 1, 2026 – 3:59 am
THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY is warning all of creation! IT is written by The Holy Spirit in Jonah chapter 1: 1 One day YAHWEH revealed to Jonah, Amittai’s son, this message: 2 “Arise! Leave at once for the great city of Nineveh and proclaim judgment against her, for the wickedness of her people is staring Me in the Face.” How would you like to be included in such judgment?  Why is the weather now producing such extremes across the U.S.?  Earlier this week, winds in N.W. Oklahoma were clocked at 103 mph!  There have been many reports of 80+ mph straight winds throughout the state.  In effect, the winds equal a category 1 hurricane.  I can attest that the weather is the most extreme that I have seen in my adult life. The book of Jonah presents Nineveh as one of the greatest and most significant cities of the ancient world. It was the capital ...

The True World Vision & Reality

June 30, 2026 – 3:06 am
THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY owns all of creation! The inhabitants of the earth have a very limited view of creation thus they develop their own opinions based only what they see and experience.  The Bible provides us with FATHER’S world vision. Psalm 24 is a psalm of David that celebrates God's absolute ownership of creation, identifies who is worthy to approach Him, and prepares for the triumphant entrance of the King of Glory (vv. 7–10). Verses 1–6 move through three major Truths: God owns everything. God is Holy. Only those made right before Him may draw near. We are to meditate on these three Truths if we are to see things as GOD sees them. Verse 1 "The earth is the LORD'S, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein." David begins with a declaration of God's ownership. Everything belongs to God: Every continent Every nation Every acre of land Every animal Every tree Every ocean Every person Every dollar Every breath Nothing ultimately belongs to mankind. Why ...
