Surrendering Faith

May 9th, 2025

Faith will enhance your ability to minister and serve others!

We illustrate what we value by what we are willing to pay a price for.

Our priorities will reflect what we value on a daily basis.  As for me, I highly value the early morning time I spend with THE LORD.  It establishes the day for me.

Faith grows from surrender or yieldedness, not striving.  It is impossible to please GOD without faith (Hebrews 11:6).  It pleases Our Heavenly Father for us to yield to HIS Word and respond accordingly.  When my son or daughter embraces my counsel and acts on it, I too am greatly pleased.  In essence, they have honored me as their earthly father.

You cannot “self-will” your way to great faith.

When tempted by the accuser, Jesus spoke in Matthew chapter 4:

4 But Jesus answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every Word that proceeds from the Mouth of God.'”

Jesus reminded the accuser of what was spoken by The Holy Spirit in Deuteronomy chapter 8:

1 “Every commandment which I command you today you must be careful to observe, that you may live and multiply, and go in and possess the land of which the LORD swore to your fathers.

2 And you shall remember that the LORD your God led you all the way these forty years in the wilderness, to humble you and test you, to know what was in your heart, whether you would keep His commandments or not.

3 So He humbled you, allowed you to hunger, and fed you with manna which you did not know nor did your fathers know, that He might make you know that man shall not live by bread alone; but man lives by every Word that proceeds from the Mouth of the LORD.

4 Your garments did not wear out on you, nor did your foot swell these forty years. 5 You should know in your heart that as a man chastens his son, so the LORD your God chastens you.

6 “Therefore you shall keep the commandments of the LORD your God, to walk in His ways and to fear Him.

If Jesus lived in this manner while on the earth, why is it to difficult for men to walk in the same manner?

Faith comes in two forms: a fruit of THE SPIRIT or a gift of THE SPIRIT:

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Galatians chapter 5:

22 But the fruit produced by the Holy Spirit within you is Divine Love in all its varied expressions:

joy that overflows,

peace that subdues,

patience that endures,

kindness in action,

a life full of virtue,

faith that prevails,

gentleness of heart,

and strength of spirit. Never set the law above these qualities, for they are meant to be limitless.

He also recorded by The Holy Spirit in 1st Corinthians chapter 12:

4 There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.

5 There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord.

6 And there are diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works all in all.

7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all:

8 for to one is given the Word of Wisdom through the Spirit,

to another the Word of knowledge through the same Spirit,

9 to another faith by the same Spirit,

to another gifts of healings by the same Spirit,

10 to another the working of miracles,

to another prophecy,

to another discerning of spirits,

to another different kinds of tongues,

to another the interpretation of tongues.

11 But One and the Same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills.

Fruit is something you can develop and grow inside you by nurturing it, feeding it.  When you feed on The Word of GOD, your faith grows.

Faith does not come out of determination but comes from surrender and acceptance of The Word of GOD.  Faith is the evidence of a current relationship where you’re hearing from GOD.  My hearing is enhanced by the reading of Scripture and as my hearing is enhanced, I become more sensitive to the leading of The Holy Spirit.

This is vital for ministering healing to those who are afflicted.  Your faith will heal them, and you won’t have to rely on the state of their faith at all.

I live because HE talks; I am alive because HE speaks.  FATHER spoke the worlds into being and they continue to exist because of HIS Words.  The Breath of GOD is the origin of Life so let us pursue Life in all its forms.  When we do, faith results!

Why Did Jesus Heal?

May 8th, 2025

Why did Jesus heal all who were afflicted?

The Beloved Disciple wrote by The Holy Spirit in 1st John chapter 3:

8 He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.

Why did Jesus assign us to also heal?

Jesus spoke in Matthew chapter 9:

35 Then Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.

36 But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were weary, helpless, and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd. 37 Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few.

38 Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.”

10:1 And when He had called His twelve disciples to Him, He gave them power over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease.

And in Matthew chapter 14:

14 So when Jesus landed he had a huge crowd waiting for him. Seeing so many people, His Heart was deeply moved with compassion toward them, so He healed all the sick who were in the crowd.

Also, in Matthew chapter 20:

29 As Jesus left Jericho a huge crowd gathered and followed Him.

30 And there were two blind men sitting on the roadside. When they heard that it was Jesus passing by, they shouted, “Son of David, show us mercy, Lord!”

31 Those in the crowd scolded them and told them to be quiet. But the blind men shouted even louder, “Jesus, Son of David, show us mercy, Lord!”

32 So Jesus stopped and had them brought to Him. He asked them, “What do you want Me to do for you?”

33 They said, “Lord, we want to see! Heal us!”

34 Jesus was deeply moved with compassion toward them. So He touched their eyes, and instantly they could see! Jesus said to them, “Your faith has healed you.” And all the people praised God because of this miracle. And the two men became his followers from that day onward.

When we walk in unconditional Love and see people with compassion, we too will desire to pray for the sick and afflicted.  We will no longer be timid, but instead, we will boldly pray for those in need.

Notice that once healed, the two men became followers of Christ.  Their healing was a sign that confirmed the Gospel of Christ.

Mark also testified and recorded by The Holy Spirit in Mark chapter 1:

40 Now a leper came to Jesus, imploring Him, kneeling down to Him and saying to Him, “If You are willing, You can make me clean.”

41 Then Jesus, moved with compassion, stretched out His hand and touched him, and said to him, “I am willing; be cleansed.”

42 As soon as He had spoken, immediately the leprosy left him, and he was cleansed.

Jesus was not intimidated by leprosy.  His Life force was and is greater than leprosy or any other contagious disease.

Mark recorded by The Holy Spirit in Mark chapter 5:

18 And when Jesus got into the boat, he who had been demon-possessed begged Him that he might be with Him.

19 However, Jesus did not permit him, but said to him, “Go home to your friends, and tell them what great things the Lord has done for you, and how He has had compassion on you.

You and I are laborers on behalf of Jesus Christ.  As He was moved with compassion, so should we.  As we continue to focus on others who are in need of healing and restoration, we too will be deeply moved and will not be hesitant to minister healing and restoration.  We may even surprise ourselves when our boldness arises within us.

Our Divine Priority

May 7th, 2025

Divine priorities attract resources and Divine Presence!

Jesus spoke in Matthew chapter 6:

33 But seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

In other Words, “So above all, constantly seek God’s Kingdom and His righteousness, then all these less important things will be given to you abundantly.”

Jesus provided each of us with our top priority and it is our responsibility to pursue this priority daily.  When we pursue the less important things at the expense of the top priority, lack comes forth which causes worry and fear of insufficiency.

Fear is faith in the inferior.

When you focus on seeking first The Kingdom of GOD, you allow FATHER to manage the less important things on your behalf.  Life becomes simpler and more rewarding.

David recorded by The Holy Spirit in Psalm chapter 103:

2 Bless the LORD, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits:

3 Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases,

4 Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies,

5 Who satisfies your life with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

I am the first to admit that there are times when I need to re-engage with GOD’S purpose for my life.  For whatever reason, I get distracted with what is going on around me and slowly focus on those less important things.  It is easy to do.  Thankfully, The Holy Spirit brings this issue to my attention, and I get back on track to what is truly important in my life and purpose.

Are you going to learn by HIS direction, or will you learn by HIS deliverance?

You cannot step into Divine purpose without sacrifice.

It is written by The Holy Spirit in Haggai chapter 1:

2 “Thus speaks the LORD of hosts, saying: ‘This people says, “The time has not come, the time that the LORD’s house should be built.”‘”

3 Then the word of the LORD came by Haggai the prophet, saying,

4 “Is it time for you yourselves to dwell in your paneled houses, and this temple to lie in ruins?”

5 Now therefore, thus says the LORD of hosts: “Consider your ways!

6 “You have sown much, and bring in little; You eat, but do not have enough; You drink, but you are not filled with drink; You clothe yourselves, but no one is warm; And he who earns wages, Earns wages to put into a bag with holes.”

7 Thus says the LORD of hosts: “Consider your ways!

The children of Israel forgot their priority concerning The Temple.  What was the result?  Scarcity and unfruitfulness.  FATHER had a corrective interview with them!

8 Go up to the mountains and bring wood and build the temple, that I may take pleasure in it and be glorified,” says the LORD.

9 “You looked for much, but indeed it came to little; and when you brought it home, I blew it away. Why?” says the LORD of hosts. “Because of My House that is in ruins, while every one of you runs to his own house.

The people re-engaged with their purpose:

12 Then Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest, with all the remnant of the people, obeyed the Voice of the LORD their God, and the words of Haggai the prophet, as the LORD their God had sent him; and the people feared the Presence of the LORD.

FATHER wanted to fill the Temple with HIS Glory.

In chapter 2:

4 Yet now be strong, Zerubbabel,’ says the LORD; ‘and be strong, Joshua, son of Jehozadak, the high priest; and be strong, all you people of the land,’ says the LORD, ‘and work; for I am with you,’ says the LORD of hosts.

5 ‘According to the Word that I covenanted with you when you came out of Egypt, so My Spirit remains among you; do not fear!’

6 “For thus says the LORD of hosts: ‘Once more (it is a little while) I will shake heaven and earth, the sea and dry land;

7 and I will shake all nations, and they shall come to the Desire of All Nations, and I will fill this temple with glory,’ says the LORD of hosts.

8 ‘The silver is Mine, and the gold is Mine,’ says the LORD of hosts.

9 ‘The glory of this latter temple shall be greater than the former,’ says the LORD of hosts. ‘And in this place I will give peace,’ says the LORD of hosts.”

Let us keep GOD’S purpose for our lives as our highest priority.  Let HIS Glory fill our temple!

Forever Settled

May 6th, 2025

The Word of GOD IS the final authority in all areas!

How many times have you heard, “This is not what we believe.”?  Does it really matter what people believe if it does not line up with the Word of GOD?  Generally speaking, the reason people don’t believe in a certain area of the Scripture is because they don’t operate in that area.

The Word is our final authority. Our experiences must be judged by Scripture not Scripture judged by experiences. The Word of God is forever settled in Heaven, we must settle it on earth.

It is written by The Holy Spirit in Psalm chapter 119:

89 Forever, O LORD, Your Word is settled in Heaven.

90 Your faithfulness endures to all generations; You established the earth, and it abides.

91 They continue this day according to Your ordinances, For all are Your servants. 92 Unless Your law had been my delight, I would then have perished in my affliction.

93 I will never forget Your precepts, For by them You have given me Life.

The word forever means that it will never change!  If some aspect of The Word does not operate in your life, it doesn’t mean that the Word is the problem, the problem lies with you.  It is your responsibility to find out why.  You are not going to get God to change His Mind to agree with you. You must change your mind to agree with Him.  God’s Word never stops working.

It is recorded by The Holy Spirit in Isaiah chapter 55:

11 So shall My Word be that goes forth from My Mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.

In other Words, “So also will be the word that I speak; it does not return to Me unfulfilled. My Word performs My purpose and fulfills the mission I sent it out to accomplish.”

God does not have to decree that any human being be healed. He has already said it and it is a fact. Now it is up to Christians to establish God’s Word on the earth, by removing the enemy’s works from the bodies of humans. It is up to us to enforce the defeat that God has already won over His enemy. God does not have to do anything to affect the healing of any person. He has already decreed it.

David recorded by The Holy Spirit in Psalm chapter 138:

2 I will worship toward Your Holy Temple, And praise Your Name For Your lovingkindness and Your Truth; For You have magnified Your Word above all Your Name.

God has forever connected His keeping His Word with His Name.

It is written by The Holy Spirit in Malachi chapter 3:

6 “For I am the LORD, I do not change; Therefore you are not consumed, O sons of Jacob.

And in Hebrews chapter 13:

8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

9 Do not be carried about with various and strange doctrines. For it is good that the heart be established by grace, not with foods which have not profited those who have been occupied with them.

We must not allow ourselves to be led astray by various, exotic doctrines based on some interpretation or special word given to someone claiming to hear from GOD.

Jesus prayed to FATHER in John chapter 17:

17 Sanctify them by Your Truth. Your Word is Truth.

We are made Holy by the Truth.

When the Sadducees came to Jesus to test Him, He responded to them in Matthew chapter 22:

29 Jesus answered them, “You are deluded, because your hearts are not filled with the revelation of the Scriptures or the power of God.

30 For after the resurrection, men and women will not marry, just like the angels of Heaven don’t marry.

31 Haven’t you read what God said:

32 ‘I am the Living God, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.”

Revelation and power testify of the veracity of GOD’S Word.  Don’t let someone with deluded thoughts misdirect your focus!  Divine healing is an excellent example of GOD’S power testifying to the world.

Immersing Yourself

May 5th, 2025

Are you ready and willing to immerse yourself in healing Scriptures?

Moses recorded by The Holy Spirit in Deuteronomy chapter 28:

15 “But it shall come to pass, if you do not obey the voice of the LORD your God, to observe carefully all His commandments and His statutes which I command you today, that all these curses will come upon you and overtake you:

A long list of curses including known sicknesses and diseases are listed.

61 Also every sickness and every plague, which is not written in this Book of the Law, will the LORD permit to be brought upon you until you are destroyed.

Any and all sicknesses and diseases are curses.

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Galatians chapter 3:

13 Yet, Christ paid the full price to set us free from the curse of the law. He absorbed the curse completely as He became a curse in our place. For it is written: “Everyone who is hung upon a tree is cursed.”

14 Jesus Christ dissolved the curse from our lives, so that IN HIM all the blessings of Abraham can be poured out upon gentiles. And now through faith we receive the promised Holy Spirit Who lives in us.

Jesus substituted Himself for every curse, including all sickness and disease.  Any health issue you are dealing with is included.  What better way to immerse yourself in healing Scriptures than to listen to the following day and night (as needed):

FATHER Expects Us To Pray

May 4th, 2025

Many promises of GOD are conditional, including healing!

Jesus spoke in John chapter 15:

7 If you abide in Me, and My Words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.

Jesus begins with the conditional Word “If”.  How do you get GOD’S Word in you?  It is by feeding on The Word and meditating on The Word continually.  This verse tells you how to get your prayers answered every time.  If GOD promises you something, that’s HIS Will.

We are to find Scriptures that promise us the things we are praying for.

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Ephesians chapter 6:

18 praying always with all manner of prayer and supplication being led by THE Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints-

Our prayer life should be a daily occurrence, not an occasional requirement as the need arises.

Jesus spoke in Matthew chapter 6:

8 “Therefore do not be like them. For Your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him.

This verse indicates the necessity of asking FATHER even though HE knows the need.

Jesus spoke in Matthew chapter 18:

18 “Assuredly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in Heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in Heaven.”

Heaven limits Itself by what we do and don’t do on earth.  We have a responsibility to pray and have HIS Words abide in us.

Luke recorded by The Holy Spirit in Acts chapter 4:

23 And being let go, they (Peter and John) went to their own companions and reported all that the chief priests and elders had said to them.

24 So when they heard that, they raised their voice to God with one accord and said: “Lord, You are God, Who made Heaven and earth and the sea, and all that is in them,

25 who by the mouth of Your servant David have said: ‘Why did the nations rage, And the people plot vain things?

26 The kings of the earth took their stand, And the rulers were gathered together Against the LORD and against His Christ.’

27 “For truly against Your Holy Servant Jesus, whom You anointed, both Herod and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles and the people of Israel, were gathered together

28 to do whatever Your Hand and Your purpose determined before to be done.

They spent the first half of the prayer glorifying and magnifying Our Heavenly Father.

29 Now, Lord, look on their threats, and grant to Your servants that with all boldness they may speak Your Word,

30 by stretching out Your Hand to heal, and that signs and wonders may be done through the Name of Your Holy Servant Jesus.”

They prayed for FATHER to bring forth healing, signs, and wonders to the earth through the Name of Jesus Christ.  Could GOD do this without such a prayer?  Yes, but HE wants us to establish HIS Kingdom on earth.  After all, we are HIS Sons and Daughters.

How did FATHER respond?

31 And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the Word of God with boldness.

We know that at least 120 of these who were assembled together had already received the Baptism of The Holy Spirit.  However, this shows that there are “re-fillings” of The Holy Spirit as well.

Did Our Heavenly Father answer their prayer?

In Acts chapter 5:

12 And through the hands of the apostles many signs and wonders were done among the people. And they were all with one accord in Solomon’s Porch.

13 Yet none of the rest dared join them, but the people esteemed them highly.

14 And believers were increasingly added to the Lord, multitudes of both men and women,

15 so that they brought the sick out into the streets and laid them on beds and couches, that at least the shadow of Peter passing by might fall on some of them.

16 Also a multitude gathered from the surrounding cities to Jerusalem, bringing sick people and those who were tormented by unclean spirits, and they were all healed.

FATHER was not reluctant to answer their prayers nor is HE reluctant to answer our prayers… by HIS Word!

Ministering Healing To Others

May 3rd, 2025

Do you have faith to minister healing to others?

Jesus emphasized “those who believe”.

Again, let’s take a look at the Great Commission.

After His resurrection, Jesus spoke in Mark chapter 16:

17 And these signs will follow those who believe (G4100): In My Name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues;

18 they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

The word believe (G4100) means: to think to be true, to be persuaded of, to credit, place confidence in the thing believed; to have faith; to have trust.

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Hebrews chapter 12:

1 Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us,

2 looking unto Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith, Who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the Right Hand of the Throne of God.

We must remember that it was by His stripes Divine healing comes forth, not by our works or efforts.  It is by His power and authority, we are His agents who are called to deliver the manifestation of healing to those in need.

Paul also wrote by The Holy Spirit in Romans chapter 5:

17 Death once held us in its grip, and by the blunder of one man, death reigned as king over humanity. But now, how much more are we held in the grip of grace and continue reigning as kings in life, enjoying our regal freedom through the gift of perfect righteousness in the one and only Jesus, the Messiah!

18 In other Words, just as condemnation came upon all people through one transgression, so through one righteous act of Jesus’ sacrifice, the perfect righteousness that makes us right with God and leads us to a victorious Life is now available to all.

19 One man’s disobedience opened the door for all humanity to become sinners. So also one man’s obedience opened the door for many to be made perfectly right with God and acceptable to Him.

You and I minister healing based on Jesus’ performance, not our own.  It is only by His power and His authority are we able to minister healing.  This Spiritual power originates with Him, not us.

Whatever you focus on is going to determine your experience!

You can walk in Divine health solely because of what Jesus did at the cross.  We must bring our mindsets into full conformity to this Truth.  My wife and I take Holy Communion every morning to keep this Truth before us at all times.  Does FATHER require us to take Communion every morning?  Not at all.  We simply want to keep this Truth before us daily.

Let us accept the simplicity of what Jesus did for all of mankind.  It is not based on some elusive formula or steps of performance.  His Blood was and is sufficient for all health and healing.

Healing belongs to me (and you) because of what Jesus has done.

Jesus spoke in John chapter 10:

10 A thief has only one thing in mind—he wants to steal, slaughter, and destroy. But I have come to give you everything in abundance, more than you expect—life in its fullness until you overflow!

Jesus is the Provider, we are the recipients.  We need to see ourselves as personal representatives of Jesus the Healer.  We are called to deliver healing to those in need.  As we exalt Jesus as the Provider, we are able by His Power and Authority, deliver healing to those in need.  This includes our own healing as well.

Consider yourself as a UPS driver delivering a package.  The recipient does not glorify you because you simply did your job.  All you did was to physically deliver and complete the transaction.

The Primary Issue

May 2nd, 2025

What is the primary criteria for living and ministering Divine healing and health?

Jesus emphasized “those who believe”.

Again, let’s take a look at the Great Commission.

After His resurrection, Jesus spoke in Mark chapter 16:

16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.

17 And these signs will follow those who believe: In My Name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues;

18 they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

The power and authority of is fully accessible to those who believe.  What does it take to fully believe?

We must be continually and fully immersed in The Word concerning health and healing

Focusing on Divine health is not a one-time event.  We should keep The Word before us every day.

It is written by The Holy Spirit in Psalm chapter 1:

1 What delight comes to the one who follows God’s ways! He won’t walk in step with the wicked, nor share the sinner’s way, nor be found sitting in the scorner’s seat.

2 His passion is to remain true to the Word of “I AM,” meditating day and night on the true revelation of light.

3 He will be standing firm like a flourishing tree planted by God’s design, deeply rooted by the brooks of bliss, bearing fruit in every season of life. He is never dry, never fainting, ever blessed, ever prosperous.

The Holy Spirit encourages us to meditate on The Word day and night but how many of us have that level of commitment?  My past commitment looks like a rollercoaster rather than a consistent level of commitment.  Why?  I have allowed myself to be influenced by the world’s issues.  For the most part, I had no true influence on what was happening and was no better off than if I had no idea what was going on.

Our belief system is affected by what we expose ourselves to on a daily basis.  There is an appropriate saying: You become like the company you keep.

The news media will incite the viewers to move toward their narrative.  That narrative is based on the owners’ views.  Google and other social media do the same.  Effectively, they are providing an alternative to being led by The Holy Spirit.  Could they be labeled as “false christs”?

Concerning the end times, Jesus spoke in Matthew chapter 24:

24 For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.

25 See, I have told you beforehand.

26 “Therefore if they say to you, ‘Look, He is in the desert!’ do not go out; or ‘Look, He is in the inner rooms!’ do not believe it.

As we immerse ourselves in The Word, our level of believing increases and our doubt decreases.  We are to move on to the state where we doubt not.

Another subtle example of challenging our belief system is that of pharmaceutical advertising.  Their solution suggests that you will be happy and dancing once you take their drug… life will be good.  However, they downplay the multitude of side effects, even death, that may occur when taking their drug.  They appeal to your emotions.

The world is competing for our attention so that we will submit to their narratives and effectively become enslaved.  This does nothing for further the Kingdom of GOD on the earth.  Maybe it’s time to fast the world!  Food for thought.

His Stripes

May 1st, 2025

We are to apply the “stripes” of Jesus for healing of those in need!

It was written by The Holy Spirit in Isaiah chapter 53:

1 Who has believed our report? And to whom has the Arm of the LORD been revealed?

2 For He shall grow up before Him as a tender plant, And as a root out of dry ground. He has no form or comeliness; And when we see Him, There is no beauty that we should desire Him.

3 He is despised and rejected by men, A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him; He was despised, and we did not esteem Him.

4 Surely He has borne our griefs And carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted.

5 But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.

Isaiah, the prophet in the Bible, lived during the 8th century BC, specifically during the reigns of four kings of Judah: Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah. His ministry is thought to have spanned roughly 60 years, from the late 740s BC to around 681 BC.

Isaiah, by The Holy Spirit, prophesied 700 years before Jesus fulfilled the prophecy concerning our Divine healing.  Once Jesus fulfilled this prophecy to the letter, The Word went from “are” to “were” in describing this Truth.

Matthew recorded by The Holy Spirit in Matthew chapter 8:

16 That evening the people brought to Jesus many who were demonized. And by Jesus only speaking a Word of healing over them, they were totally set free from their torment, and everyone who was sick received their healing!

17 In doing this, Jesus fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah: He put upon Himself our weaknesses, and He carried away our diseases and made us well.

This fulfillment was vital for us to be able to walk in Divine health today.  Jesus took on stripes at the whipping post and suffered on our behalf.  The innocent paid for the guilty.  He then sealed this reality as He went to the cross on our behalf.  He fully paid the ransom price with His Blood which He presented to FATHER as full payment for our salvation.  Included were healing, restoration, and health.

Jesus, the resurrected Christ, taught the disciples this Truth as He explained the Kingdom of GOD in Acts chapter 1.  Peter finally understood this plan and process.

Peter recorded by The Holy Spirit in 1st Peter chapter 2:

23 Who, when He was reviled, did not revile in return; when He suffered, He did not threaten, but committed Himself to Him Who judges righteously;

24 Who Himself bore our sins in His Own Body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness-by Whose stripes you were healed.

Notice the past tense “were”.  Peter understood that the stripes placed on Jesus’ back at the whipping posts, provided complete healing for all, both in the present and in the future. Not one sickness or disease was omitted.  Those stripes accounted for ALL sickness and disease.

Let’s now take a look at the Great Commission again.

After His resurrection, Jesus spoke in Mark chapter 16:

16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.

17 And these signs will follow those who believe: In My Name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues;

18 they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

The power and authority of is fully accessible to those who believe.  Where do we stand in our level of believing?  Are you and I producing fruit yet?  Next, we will address this area of building up our faith.

The Key To Healing

April 30th, 2025

Jesus provides us with examples of commanding healing to go forth!

Jesus spoke in Luke chapter 17:

12 Then as Jesus entered a certain village, there met Him ten men who were lepers, who stood afar off.

13 And they lifted up their voices and said, “Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!”

14 So when He saw them, He said to them, “Go, show yourselves to the priests.” And so it was that as they went, they were cleansed.

15 And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, returned, and with a loud voice glorified God,

16 and fell down on his face at His feet, giving Him thanks. And he was a Samaritan.

17 So Jesus answered and said, “Were there not ten cleansed? But where are the nine?

18 Were there not any found who returned to give glory to God except this foreigner?”

19 And He said to him, “Arise, go your way. Your faith has made you well.”

In this example, Jesus did not lay hands on the ten lepers.  He simply spoke life by commanding them to show themselves to the priests who could determine their leprosy to be healed.  They all knew the acceptable process to be reintegrated into society.  Both Jesus and the lepers understood the Levitical Law found in Leviticus chapter 13:

16 Or if the raw flesh of the leper changes and turns white again, he shall come to the priest. 17 And the priest shall examine him; and indeed if the sore has turned white, then the priest shall pronounce him clean who has the sore. He is clean.

The Beloved Disciple recorded by The Holy Spirit in John chapter 4:

46 So Jesus came again to Cana of Galilee where He had made the water wine. And there was a certain nobleman whose son was sick at Capernaum.

47 When he heard that Jesus had come out of Judea into Galilee, he went to Him and implored Him to come down and heal his son, for he was at the point of death.

48 Then Jesus said to him, “Unless you people see signs and wonders, you will by no means believe.”

49 The nobleman said to Him, “Sir, come down before my child dies!”

50 Jesus said to him, “Go your way; your son lives.” So the man believed the Word that Jesus spoke to him, and he went his way.

51 And as he was now going down, his servants met him and told him, saying, “Your son lives!”

52 Then he inquired of them the hour when he got better. And they said to him, “Yesterday at the seventh hour the fever left him.”

53 So the father knew that it was at the same hour in which Jesus said to him, “Your son lives.” And he himself believed, and his whole household.

Notice that Jesus provided the sign of healing for the nobleman to believe.  This nobleman had traveled seventeen miles to approach Jesus.  Jesus did not pray some request to HIS FATHER, He simply spoke the Words of faith: “Go your way; your son lives.”

Can we exercise this same faith concerning someone who is not in our immediate presence?  The answer is emphatically “YES”!  The nobleman confirmed the time of healing.  Instantaneous healing will come in the same hour.  Are we meant to walk in the same faith as Jesus?  Yes.  If we don’t expect to walk at the same level, we won’t.

In reference to the above passages, neither time did Jesus say “be healed” or command healing.  The key was and is that at that moment, Jesus fully believed that they were healed.  Jesus was fully persuaded that their healing was fulfilled.  What counts is “believing”.

Why are we called believers?  As we fully believe The Word of GOD in all areas, we too should expect our ministry in healing to expand even to the remote areas where we are not present.  It is “believing” that counts when ministering healing.
