The Beloved Disciple John recorded what he heard and saw by The Holy Spirit in the Book of Revelation 1:
4 John, to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace to you and peace from Him Who is and Who was and Who is to come, and from the seven Spirits who are before His throne,
5 and from Jesus Christ, the faithful Witness, the Firstborn from the dead, and the Ruler over the kings of the earth. To Him Who Loved us and washed us from our sins in His Own Blood,
6 and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.
An in chapter 5:
6 Then I saw a young Lamb standing before the Throne, encircled by the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders. He appeared to have been slaughtered but was now alive! He had seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent out to the ends of the earth.
7 I saw the young Lamb approach the Throne and take the scroll from the Right Hand of THE ONE Who sat there.
8 And when the twenty-four elders and the four living creatures saw the Lamb had taken the scroll, they fell facedown at the feet of the Lamb and worshiped him. Each of them had a harp and golden bowls brimming full of sweet fragrant incense—which are the prayers of God’s Holy Lovers (saints).
9 And they sang a new song, saying: “You are worthy to take the scroll, And to open its seals; For You were slain, And have redeemed us to God by Your Blood Out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation,
10 And have made us kings and priests to our God; And we shall reign on the earth.”
The adversary know that he has a short time left before the manifested ordination of the Holy kings and priests who are called to reign on the earth with Our Lord Jesus Christ. It is vital for us to be fully prepared for such an event. This preparation can only be accomplished by pursuing and walking in total Holiness now. If this were not possible, FATHER would not instruct us to “BE YE HOLY FOR I AM HOLY”.
Our Lord Jesus Christ established the importance of partaking Holy Communion with understanding as He appeared as Melchizedek, the “pre-incarnate Christ”.
Jesus referred to Melchizedek when He spoke in John chapter 8:
52 Then the Jews said to Him, “Now we know that You have a demon! Abraham is dead, and the prophets; and You say, ‘If anyone keeps My Word he shall never taste death.’
53 Are You greater than our father Abraham, who is dead? And the prophets are dead. Who do You make Yourself out to be?”
54 Jesus answered, “If I honor Myself, My honor is nothing. It is My Father Who honors Me, of Whom you say that He is your God.
55 Yet you have not known Him, but I know Him. And if I say, ‘I do not know Him,’ I shall be a liar like you; but I do know Him and keep His Word.
56 Your father Abraham rejoiced to see My day, and he saw it and was glad.” 57 Then the Jews said to Him, “You are not yet fifty years old, and have You seen Abraham?”
58 Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.”
When did Abraham receive the revelation of His coming?
Moses wrote by THE SPIRIT in Genesis chapter 14:
18 Then Melchizedek King of Salem (peace) brought out bread and wine; He was the Priest of God Most High.
19 And He blessed him and said: “Blessed be Abram of God Most High, Possessor of Heaven and earth;
20 And blessed be God Most High, Who has delivered your enemies into your hand.” And he gave Him a tithe of all.
This is the first recorded event of taking Holy Communion. Melchizedek administered Communion to Abram. He surely disclosed the importance of this Holy ritual. This was the precursor to Abram’s transformation to Abraham. How did Abram respond? He gave Melchizedek a tithe of all! This covenant was completed with the tithe, the acknowledgement of the lesser giving and submitting to the Greater. Abram gave without coercion. What happened next? The adversary came to incentivize Abram to break the covenant:
21 Now the king of Sodom said to Abram, “Give me the persons, and take the goods for yourself.”
22 But Abram said to the king of Sodom, “I have raised my hand to the LORD, God Most High, the Possessor of Heaven and earth,
23 that I will take nothing, from a thread to a sandal strap, and that I will not take anything that is yours, lest you should say, ‘I have made Abram rich’–
The king of Sodom attempted to give Abram power and authority just like the devil tried to give Jesus the kingdoms of the world. Abram did not fall for it, and neither should we!
As we walk in Holiness, the adversary will surely tempt us to compromise our walk. We already have assurance of who we are in Christ and are destined to reign as kings and priests. Case closed!
