Ministering Healing To Others

Saturday, May 3rd, 2025

Do you have faith to minister healing to others?

Jesus emphasized “those who believe”.

Again, let’s take a look at the Great Commission.

After His resurrection, Jesus spoke in Mark chapter 16:

17 And these signs will follow those who believe (G4100): In My Name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues;

18 they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

The word believe (G4100) means: to think to be true, to be persuaded of, to credit, place confidence in the thing believed; to have faith; to have trust.

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Hebrews chapter 12:

1 Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us,

2 looking unto Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith, Who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the Right Hand of the Throne of God.

We must remember that it was by His stripes Divine healing comes forth, not by our works or efforts.  It is by His power and authority, we are His agents who are called to deliver the manifestation of healing to those in need.

Paul also wrote by The Holy Spirit in Romans chapter 5:

17 Death once held us in its grip, and by the blunder of one man, death reigned as king over humanity. But now, how much more are we held in the grip of grace and continue reigning as kings in life, enjoying our regal freedom through the gift of perfect righteousness in the one and only Jesus, the Messiah!

18 In other Words, just as condemnation came upon all people through one transgression, so through one righteous act of Jesus’ sacrifice, the perfect righteousness that makes us right with God and leads us to a victorious Life is now available to all.

19 One man’s disobedience opened the door for all humanity to become sinners. So also one man’s obedience opened the door for many to be made perfectly right with God and acceptable to Him.

You and I minister healing based on Jesus’ performance, not our own.  It is only by His power and His authority are we able to minister healing.  This Spiritual power originates with Him, not us.

Whatever you focus on is going to determine your experience!

You can walk in Divine health solely because of what Jesus did at the cross.  We must bring our mindsets into full conformity to this Truth.  My wife and I take Holy Communion every morning to keep this Truth before us at all times.  Does FATHER require us to take Communion every morning?  Not at all.  We simply want to keep this Truth before us daily.

Let us accept the simplicity of what Jesus did for all of mankind.  It is not based on some elusive formula or steps of performance.  His Blood was and is sufficient for all health and healing.

Healing belongs to me (and you) because of what Jesus has done.

Jesus spoke in John chapter 10:

10 A thief has only one thing in mind—he wants to steal, slaughter, and destroy. But I have come to give you everything in abundance, more than you expect—life in its fullness until you overflow!

Jesus is the Provider, we are the recipients.  We need to see ourselves as personal representatives of Jesus the Healer.  We are called to deliver healing to those in need.  As we exalt Jesus as the Provider, we are able by His Power and Authority, deliver healing to those in need.  This includes our own healing as well.

Consider yourself as a UPS driver delivering a package.  The recipient does not glorify you because you simply did your job.  All you did was to physically deliver and complete the transaction.

The Primary Issue

What is the primary criteria for living and ministering Divine healing and health?

Jesus emphasized “those who believe”.

Again, let’s take a look at the Great Commission.

After His resurrection, Jesus spoke in Mark chapter 16:

16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.

17 And these signs will follow those who believe: In My Name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues;

18 they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

The power and authority of is fully accessible to those who believe.  What does it take to fully believe?

We must be continually and fully immersed in The Word concerning health and healing

Focusing on Divine health is not a one-time event.  We should keep The Word before us every day.

It is written by The Holy Spirit in Psalm chapter 1:

1 What delight comes to the one who follows God’s ways! He won’t walk in step with the wicked, nor share the sinner’s way, nor be found sitting in the scorner’s seat.

2 His passion is to remain true to the Word of “I AM,” meditating day and night on the true revelation of light.

3 He will be standing firm like a flourishing tree planted by God’s design, deeply rooted by the brooks of bliss, bearing fruit in every season of life. He is never dry, never fainting, ever blessed, ever prosperous.

The Holy Spirit encourages us to meditate on The Word day and night but how many of us have that level of commitment?  My past commitment looks like a rollercoaster rather than a consistent level of commitment.  Why?  I have allowed myself to be influenced by the world’s issues.  For the most part, I had no true influence on what was happening and was no better off than if I had no idea what was going on.

Our belief system is affected by what we expose ourselves to on a daily basis.  There is an appropriate saying: You become like the company you keep.

The news media will incite the viewers to move toward their narrative.  That narrative is based on the owners’ views.  Google and other social media do the same.  Effectively, they are providing an alternative to being led by The Holy Spirit.  Could they be labeled as “false christs”?

Concerning the end times, Jesus spoke in Matthew chapter 24:

24 For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.

25 See, I have told you beforehand.

26 “Therefore if they say to you, ‘Look, He is in the desert!’ do not go out; or ‘Look, He is in the inner rooms!’ do not believe it.

As we immerse ourselves in The Word, our level of believing increases and our doubt decreases.  We are to move on to the state where we doubt not.

Another subtle example of challenging our belief system is that of pharmaceutical advertising.  Their solution suggests that you will be happy and dancing once you take their drug… life will be good.  However, they downplay the multitude of side effects, even death, that may occur when taking their drug.  They appeal to your emotions.

The world is competing for our attention so that we will submit to their narratives and effectively become enslaved.  This does nothing for further the Kingdom of GOD on the earth.  Maybe it’s time to fast the world!  Food for thought.

His Stripes

Thursday, May 1st, 2025

We are to apply the “stripes” of Jesus for healing of those in need!

It was written by The Holy Spirit in Isaiah chapter 53:

1 Who has believed our report? And to whom has the Arm of the LORD been revealed?

2 For He shall grow up before Him as a tender plant, And as a root out of dry ground. He has no form or comeliness; And when we see Him, There is no beauty that we should desire Him.

3 He is despised and rejected by men, A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him; He was despised, and we did not esteem Him.

4 Surely He has borne our griefs And carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted.

5 But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.

Isaiah, the prophet in the Bible, lived during the 8th century BC, specifically during the reigns of four kings of Judah: Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah. His ministry is thought to have spanned roughly 60 years, from the late 740s BC to around 681 BC.

Isaiah, by The Holy Spirit, prophesied 700 years before Jesus fulfilled the prophecy concerning our Divine healing.  Once Jesus fulfilled this prophecy to the letter, The Word went from “are” to “were” in describing this Truth.

Matthew recorded by The Holy Spirit in Matthew chapter 8:

16 That evening the people brought to Jesus many who were demonized. And by Jesus only speaking a Word of healing over them, they were totally set free from their torment, and everyone who was sick received their healing!

17 In doing this, Jesus fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah: He put upon Himself our weaknesses, and He carried away our diseases and made us well.

This fulfillment was vital for us to be able to walk in Divine health today.  Jesus took on stripes at the whipping post and suffered on our behalf.  The innocent paid for the guilty.  He then sealed this reality as He went to the cross on our behalf.  He fully paid the ransom price with His Blood which He presented to FATHER as full payment for our salvation.  Included were healing, restoration, and health.

Jesus, the resurrected Christ, taught the disciples this Truth as He explained the Kingdom of GOD in Acts chapter 1.  Peter finally understood this plan and process.

Peter recorded by The Holy Spirit in 1st Peter chapter 2:

23 Who, when He was reviled, did not revile in return; when He suffered, He did not threaten, but committed Himself to Him Who judges righteously;

24 Who Himself bore our sins in His Own Body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness-by Whose stripes you were healed.

Notice the past tense “were”.  Peter understood that the stripes placed on Jesus’ back at the whipping posts, provided complete healing for all, both in the present and in the future. Not one sickness or disease was omitted.  Those stripes accounted for ALL sickness and disease.

Let’s now take a look at the Great Commission again.

After His resurrection, Jesus spoke in Mark chapter 16:

16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.

17 And these signs will follow those who believe: In My Name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues;

18 they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

The power and authority of is fully accessible to those who believe.  Where do we stand in our level of believing?  Are you and I producing fruit yet?  Next, we will address this area of building up our faith.
