How many people can pass a Bible quiz but can’t demonstrate the Kingdom?
We are supposed to be able to reveal GOD to others through demonstration. Our lives should be a testimony of what GOD has done in our lives. As we partake in Jesus’ Divine nature, we become more like Him and take on His attributes and nature.
Whatever we plant, we harvest! This is both a natural law and a Spiritual Law.
Jesus spoke in John chapter 15:
7 If you abide in Me, and My Words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.
8 By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples.
Each of us must do a critical assessment of our harvest. Our harvest reveals how we live and who we represent to others.
Jesus continues in John chapter 15:
11 “These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full.
12 This is My commandment, that you Love one another as I have Loved you.
13 Greater Love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.
14 You are My friends if you do whatever I command you.
15 No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you. [16] You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you.
17 These things I command you, that you Love one another.
We are now friends who serve mankind. The Great Commission is all about serving those in need and bringing those in bondage to salvation in Christ… setting the captives free.
Understanding is always to lead us into experience. We are called to be active in establishing The Kingdom of GOD on the earth rather than the escapist mentality of being raptured away out of the world’s chaos.
As Jesus said in Matthew chapter 6:
10 Your Kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.
Jesus is not interested in just building a good theology in us. There are many people who study the Bible day and night, yet they produce no fruit for the Kingdom. In other words, they can’t demonstrate the Kingdom. We are supposed to reveal Jesus Christ to others. It’s not about our gifting, anointing, or some other supposed prerequisite. It’s all about planting good seed in others.
Jesus wants us to walk Heavenly-minded rather than earthly-minded. The more Heavenly minded we become, the better we can demonstrate the Kingdom of GOD. The Holy Spirit wants to lead us into all Truth that comes from Heaven.
Jesus was speaking to Nicodemus in John chapter 3:
11 Most assuredly, I say to you, We speak what We know and testify what We have seen, and you do not receive Our witness.
12 If I have told you earthly things and you do not believe, how will you believe if I tell you Heavenly things?
13 No one has ascended to Heaven but He who came down from heaven, that is, the Son of Man who is in Heaven.
Jesus reveals a mystery. While He was on earth ministering, Jesus was also in Heaven in the Spirit realm. Being in two places at the same time is also a privilege given to every believer. We are at the same time seated with Christ in the Heavenly realm, but also living our life on earth to please Him. This is what it means to live in Christ. Only those who are seated in the Heavenly realm will understand Spiritual Truths
Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Ephesians chapter 2:
4 But God, Who is rich in mercy, because of His great Love with which He Loved us,
5 even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved),
6 and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the Heavenly places in Christ Jesus,
Paul also wrote by The Holy Spirit in Colossians chapter 3:
1 Christ’s resurrection is your resurrection too. This is why we are to yearn for all that is above, for that’s where Christ sits enthroned at the place of all power, honor, and authority!
2 Yes, feast on all the treasures of the Heavenly realm and fill your thoughts with Heavenly realities, and not with the distractions of the natural realm.
3 Your crucifixion with Christ has severed the tie to this life, and now your true life is hidden away in God in Christ.
4 And as Christ Himself is seen for Who He really is, who you really are will also be revealed, for you are now One with Him in His glory!
5 Live as one who has died to every form of sexual sin and impurity. Live as one who has died to the desires for forbidden things, including the desire for wealth, which is the essence of idol worship.
Jesus qualified us to be co-seated with Him in Heaven. This enables us to fill our thoughts with Heavenly realities resulting in us demonstrating His Divine Intent and fulfilling the Great Commission.
