Where Is Your Trust?

Our trust in GOD brings down strongholds!

The word stronghold means: a place of security such as a castle or a fortress; anything on which one relies; of the arguments and reasonings by which a disputant endeavors to fortify his opinion and defend it against his opponent; anything that sets itself up against the knowledge of GOD.

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in 2nd Corinthians chapter 10:

3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh.

4 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds,

5 casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ,

6 and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled.

In essence:

We are empowered by HIS Grace (enablement) and with the Gospel to dismantle strongholds.

We demolish arguments, opinions, theories, and philosophies.

We take captive every thought to insist that it become obedient to the Mind of Christ with a fully renewed mind.

We stand ready to wage war and defeat the enemy.

Wisdom wrote in Proverbs chapter 21:

22 A wise man scales the city of the mighty, And brings down the trusted stronghold.

A city has walls created by the enemy to create a stronghold.  Wisdom enables a man to rise up against an insurmountable object and pull down the strongholds of a city and convert the city of its lifestyle.  A stronghold is whatever people trust in other than GOD.  It is always a trust issue throughout Scripture.  Who or what do we trust in?

Without faith, it is impossible to please GOD!  It is essential to our walk with THE LORD.  The element of trust is the focus of THE LORD.

Wisdom tells us in Proverbs chapter 3:

5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding;

In other Words, trust in the Lord completely, and do not rely on your own opinions. With all your heart rely on HIM to guide you, and HE will lead you in every decision you make.  Is there anyone more trustworthy than Our Heavenly Father?

It is a violation of creation to not trust the One Who is worthy of trust!  We are to reflect GOD’S faithfulness through our trust IN HIM.

Jesus spoke this warning in Mark chapter 10:

23 Jesus looked at the faces of his disciples and said, “How hard it is for the wealthy to enter into God’s kingdom realm.”

24 The disciples were startled when they heard this. But Jesus again said to them, “Children, it is next to impossible for those who trust in their riches to find their way into God’s Kingdom.

25 It is easier to stuff a rope through the eye of a needle than for a wealthy person to enter into God’s Kingdom.”

26 But this left them all the more astonished, and they whispered to one another, “Then who could ever be saved?”

27 Jesus looked at them and replied, “With people it is impossible, but not with God—God makes all things possible!

It is not impossible, but next to impossible.  The issue is trust.  How much money is too much?  Answer: It is the amount that replaces trust in GOD.

Jesus focused on trusting GOD when He spoke in Mark 12:

41 Then Jesus sat down near the offering box, watching all the people dropping in their coins. Many of the rich would put in very large sums,

42 but a destitute widow walked up and dropped in two small copper coins, worth less than a penny.

43 Jesus called his disciples to gather around and then said to them, “I tell you the Truth, this poor widow has given a larger offering than any of the wealthy.

44 For the rich only gave out of their surplus, but she sacrificed out of her poverty and gave to God all that she had to live on, which was everything she had.”

The widow had greater trust in FATHER than the rich who relied on their wealth and only gave of their surplus.  Selah!

The Importance Of Proverbs

The Book of Proverbs is vital to our pathway to maturity in Christ!

The word proverb comes from a word that mean “to rule, reign, have dominion”.  Wisdom positions you to reign in life.

It is written by The Holy Spirit in Proverbs chapter 1:

1 Here are Kingdom revelations, Words to live by, and Words of Wisdom given to empower you to reign in life, written as proverbs by Israel’s King Solomon, David’s son.

2 Within these sayings will be found the revelation of Wisdom and the impartation of Spiritual understanding. Use them as keys to unlock the treasures of true knowledge.

3 Those who cling to these Words will receive discipline to demonstrate Wisdom in every relationship and to choose what is right and just and fair.

4 These proverbs will give you great skill to teach the immature and make them wise, to give youth the understanding of their design and destiny.

5 For the wise, these proverbs will make you even wiser, and for those with discernment, you will be able to acquire brilliant strategies for leadership.

6 These Kingdom revelations will break open your understanding to unveil the deeper meaning of parables, poetic riddles, and epigrams, and to unravel the words and enigmas of the wise.

7 We cross the threshold of true knowledge when we live in obedient devotion to God (in the fear of THE LORD). Stubborn know-it-alls will never stop to do this, for they scorn true Wisdom and knowledge.

Paul referenced “reigning” as he wrote by The Holy Spirit in Romans chapter 5:

17 For if by the trespass of the one (Adam), death reigned through the one (Adam), much more surely will those who receive the abundance of grace and the free gift of righteousness reign in [Eternal] life through the One, Jesus Christ.

Reigning in life doesn’t mean that you reign over people but rather you reign over circumstances that would challenge life.  In the Kingdom, the most powerful people serve everyone else.  FATHER’S Wisdom is at the foundation of reigning.

It is recorded by The Holy Spirit in Proverbs 3:

13 Blessings pour over the ones who find Wisdom, for they have obtained living-understanding.

14 As Wisdom increases, a great treasure is imparted, greater than many bars of refined gold.

15 It is a more valuable commodity than gold and gemstones, for there is nothing you desire that could compare to her.

16 Wisdom extends to you long life in one hand and wealth and promotion in the other. Out of her mouth flows righteousness, and her Words release both law and mercy.

17 The ways of wisdom are sweet, always drawing you into the place of wholeness.

18 Seeking for her brings the discovery of untold blessings, for she is the healing tree of Life to those who taste her fruits.

The two main purposes of true government are to protect and enable (empower) people to fulfill their purpose.  When you walk in Wisdom, you will be empowered to rule righteously, and others will come from afar to seek you out.

It is written by The Holy Spirit in 1st Kings chapter 10:

4 And when the queen of Sheba (a nation in southern Arabia) had seen all the Wisdom of Solomon, the house that he had built,

5 the food on his table, the seating of his servants, the service of his waiters and their apparel, his cupbearers, and his entryway by which he went up to the house of the LORD, there was no more spirit in her (she was breathless).

6 Then she said to the king: “It was a true report which I heard in my own land about your Words and your Wisdom.

7 However I did not believe the Words until I came and saw with my own eyes; and indeed the half was not told me. Your Wisdom and prosperity exceed the fame of which I heard.

8 Happy are your men and happy are these your servants, who stand continually before you and hear your Wisdom!

9 Blessed be the LORD your God, Who delighted in you, setting you on the throne of Israel! Because the LORD has loved Israel forever, therefore He made you king, to do justice and righteousness.”

10 Then she gave the king one hundred and twenty talents of gold, spices in great quantity, and precious stones. There never again came such abundance of spices as the queen of Sheba gave to King Solomon.

King Solomon provided an excellent example of the fruits of Wisdom where nations will come and seek you out.  Our focus is to promote Life to others and the fruit of blessing will follow as a byproduct.

Divine Wisdom is to be pursued for Divine Wisdom is the Mind of Christ!

There are 31 chapters in Proverbs, one for every day in the month!

HIS Glory Is To Be Seen

Wednesday, January 1st, 2025

We should expect HIS Glory to be seen on us as we mature in Christ!

It is written by The Holy Spirit in Isaiah chapter 60:

1 Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the LORD is risen upon you.

2 For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, And deep darkness the people; But the LORD will arise over you, And His glory will be seen upon you.

In other Words, “Rise up in splendor and be radiant, for your light has dawned, and YAHWEH’s glory now streams from you!”

3 Nations will be attracted to your radiant light and kings to the sunrise-glory of your new day.

We are to arise and then we will shine.  Jesus empowers us to walk in such a manner.  When this occurs, HIS Glory will be seen upon us.  This is a promise FATHER intends to be fulfilled in us, on earth.  As this happens, nations and kings will be attracted and COME to your light.  We have to become something they want to come to.  Let us be tenacious in our pursuit of becoming such a light.

Paul recorded by The Holy Spirit in Ephesians chapter 5:

8 For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light

9 (for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness, and Truth),

10 finding out what is acceptable to the Lord.

14 Therefore He says: “Awake, you who sleep, Arise from the dead, And Christ will give you light.”

You and I are intended to walk in sustained light and be known as children of light.  Don’t allow yourself to walk in unbelief but accept the Words of Jesus as He spoke to us in Matthew chapter 5:

14 “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.

15 Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house.

16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in Heaven.

It is our responsibility to let our light shine.  If we don’t know what it takes, we need to seek HIS Wisdom and understanding to find out.  Let us not be passively ignorant.  First, we must trust HIS Word and then we will receive revelation.  We are to pursue this promise with complete commitment.  We will then walk in our full purpose with HIS anointing.

And In John chapter 8, Jesus spoke:

12 Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of Life.”

As the passages above clearly declare, we should be the light unto the world with physical manifestations that draw men to us.  The greater our ability to embrace GOD’S mysteries, the greater our ability to receive revelation through our trust in HIM.  If I can trust HIM in mystery, HE can trust me with revelation.  My level of trustworthiness determines what gifts and anointing I am able to bear for ministry toward others.

A city that is set on a hill is a community of safety, refuge, food, and fellowship that attracts people who are in the darkness looking for a safe haven.  They will come to the Gospel.  Bringing forth the Kingdom on earth must be measurable.  Our fruit is not only identifiable but measurable as well.

Jesus is our perfect Example of attracting multitudes.

Matthew recorded by The Holy Spirit in Matthew chapter 4:

23 And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom, and healing all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease among the people.

First Jesus went, then people came:

24 Then His fame went throughout all Syria; and they brought to Him all sick people who were afflicted with various diseases and torments, and those who were demon-possessed, epileptics, and paralytics; and He healed them.

25 Great multitudes followed Him-from Galilee, and from Decapolis, Jerusalem, Judea, and beyond the Jordan.

When the Kingdom of GOD is manifested on earth, people will come!
