Walking in The Fear of THE LORD keeps us from being exploited or manipulated by the world!
Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in 1st Corinthians chapter 1:
19 For it is written: “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, And bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.”
Paul referenced Isaiah 29:13-14.
FATHER spoke in Isaiah chapter 29:
13 Therefore the Lord said: “Inasmuch as these people draw near with their mouths And honor Me with their lips, But have removed their hearts far from Me, And their fear toward Me is taught by the commandment of men (man-made rules),
14 Therefore, behold, I will again do a marvelous work Among this people, A marvelous work and a wonder; For the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, And the understanding of their prudent men shall be hidden.”
Man-made rules are simply exploitation and manipulation by men who speak with eloquent and enticing words. They are known as master manipulators. Many have been described as wolves in sheep’s clothing so beware!
Yes, the Fear of the Lord is the key to this treasure! This is where the essence of abundant life resides. Your smartphone has no life and most of your interaction is based on the world’s intended exploitation and manipulation.
Why do smartphones come with games? To move your focus to entertainment. Why are there so many TV screens in restaurants? To cause you to focus on entertainment rather than carry on a conversation with the person across from you. Why are there now more than 300 channels available on cable TV? Why is your smartphone capable of streaming videos? Why do we need 5G technology for a simple phone call or text? We don’t! Can’t we see what the adversary is trying to move us away from?
Can young people spend ten minutes in silence, pursuing THE LORD without the mind wondering? If they can’t, they are being exploited and manipulated by the world (who are submitted to the adversary).
Exercising the brain is not bad in itself. However, if your spirit is dormant, your mind will not be renewed by THE SPIRIT.
Peter wrote by The Holy Spirit in 1st Peter chapter 4:
7 But the end of all things is at hand; therefore be serious and watchful in your prayers.
8 And above all things have fervent Love for one another, for “Love will cover a multitude of sins.”
9 Be hospitable to one another without grumbling.
10 As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.
11 If anyone speaks, let him speak as the Oracles of God. If anyone ministers, let him do it as with the ability which God supplies, that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to Whom belong the glory and the Dominion forever and ever. Amen.
Hmmm, no smartphones, IPads, tablets, smart TV’s, or other technology were mentioned. Instead, focus on walking in the Fear of THE LORD.
Since we are approaching the end of all things, be intentional, purposeful, and self-controlled so that you can be given to prayer. Don’t allow yourself to become lukewarm.
PS: Yes, I know you are reading with a device mentioned above. Technology is meant to be a tool to spread The Gospel and Love toward one another, not to be used for the purpose of redirecting our focus away from Jesus Christ.
