The Baptism of Love

Thursday, March 31st, 2011

I have been sharing the “Baptism of Love” revelation for years now knowing that it exists but not yet having a full understanding of how it is experienced.  Just as Charles Parham and his bible college students in Topeka, Kansas, were seeking the baptism of the Spirit in 1900.  They knew this baptism existed but had not experienced it nor had anyone they were aware of.  They kept their focus on the revelation for further understanding and were rewarded with its arrival on New Year’s eve night.  In the subsequent years, this revelation was carried to Azusa Street where it became a worldwide revelation.

Leviticus chapter 9 provides the pattern for bringing the Glory of the LORD down from Heaven.  We are to draw near unto Our Heavenly Father and offer a burnt sacrifice… ourselves.  In a recent blog, Stephen Jones wrote:

“The Kingdom of God, on the other hand, is ruled by "a consuming fire" who devours only that part of us that keeps us in bondage to the flesh. It is a fire of Love, which is totally unselfish and seeks the good of others. When the glory of God covers the whole earth, the baptism of fire will consume all flesh and assimilate all men into the Kingdom of God. But it will be done through Love, not through carnal, self-seeking motives.”

My prayer before the Throne of Grace:

Today, the 31st of March, 2011, I offer up myself up as an acceptable sacrifice, a voluntary offering, to My Heavenly Father for HIM to consume with the fire of Love.  May this fire consume all my flesh and be a sweet aroma to My Heavenly Father.  Upon the completion of my offering, may I be a blessing to all mankind and may the Glory of THE LORD come down from Heaven and be seen by all of mankind and may this Glory consume the entire earth.  Amen!

Our Heavenly Father is immovable in HIS nature of unconditional Love.  HIS Love is not determined by performance but awaits our revelation to embrace it.  It exists whether we realize it or not just as the laws of the universe prevail without our knowledge.  As we turn away from the ways of the world and draw near unto Our Heavenly Father, we open ourselves up to the revelation of Love and its fruit.  We begin to have an attitude of gratitude rather than an air of entitlement.  We look to unlock the potential in people we meet.  Rather than scheming to figure out what we can extract from the other person, we look to be a blessing.  May we be immersed in Our Heavenly Father’s Fire!

Collapse of Government Debt and the 9th Sign of Elisha

Friday, March 18th, 2011

With 80% of the U.S. Government’s expenditures as being non-negotiable spending, the collapse would appear to be certain.  Why?  The politicians and the people do not have the will to cut back before it is too late.  Sustained low interest rates served only to mask the problem of huge debt and deficits.  Once the market requires higher interest rates due to the increase of inflation, the proportion of the U.S. budget to support interest payments will rise substantially.  This will be an economic tsunami that will rival any event in history.

Can we keep the wheels on the wagon through 2016?  Only Our Heavenly Father knows.  Lobbying groups have successfully manipulated the course of the country into economic suicide.  The greed of powerful industry groups will be their ultimate downfall.

What are we to do?  We can take our cue from 2 Kings chapter 4 and the Gospels.  Elisha performed 16 miracles, a sign of Love.  The 9th sign was the feeding of 100 men with barley loaves of bread and corn.  Barley is always associated with the overcomers or “sons of GOD”.  Often we get in a spiritual “rut” and no longer walk in faith and expectation.  Multiplying fish or bread seems out of reach for most of us.  But wait!  We must ask ourselves why these miracles were placed in the Biblical record for us to read.  Surely Our Heavenly Father is no respecter of persons.  Love can command the “GOD” particles to form whatever is necessary to bless mankind.  Multiplying loaves and fishes is not out of the realm of possibility.  Jesus commanded the particles and fed the multitudes.

It appears to be only a matter of time before the chickens come home to roost.  Food shortages are the reason that the Middle East is in turmoil.  When people are hungry, government control goes out the door.  After all, what do hungry people have to lose.  None of us are thrilled about these turbulent times but that is the reality.  What can we do?  Build up our faith and believe Our Heavenly Father for the daily bread that we may become blessings to all men.  Continue to press in and draw near to Our Heavenly Father.  Offer up ourselves as living sacrifices unto THE LORD.  Go out and bless the people and expect the Glory of HIS Presence to fill our temples.  Read Leviticus 9.

The Church built on sand?

Saturday, March 5th, 2011

(Luke 6:47–49)

24 "Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: 25 and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.

26 "But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand: 27 and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall."

The Predictability of the Unpredictable

Wednesday, February 9th, 2011

At an early age we learn the concept of cause and effect.  This level of cause and effect is based on effort, energy in motion, and time.  If I am hungry then I eat and it satisfies the hunger.  If I stick my hand in fire, it burns me.  The understanding of cause and effect produces a predictable future.  This reality works for all mankind, the just and the unjust.  When it rains, the unrighteous man’s garden gets watered just as the righteous man’s garden receives the moisture.  People who are opportunistic take advantage of this predictability to their own benefit.  They become masters in this realm and control people, places, and things.  This level of cause and effect is structural based and can be exploited by the rich and powerful.  Financial investing often relies on this cause and effect predictability but many of us have found this to be a risky proposition at best.  Technical stock analysis relies on formulas to predict the future.  Investors have spent millions of dollars seeking the “holy grail” of formulas to insure investing success.  Charts are created to show cycles, trends, tendencies, and other behaviors of stock prices and movement.  “Quants” as they are called are traders and financial engineers who used advanced math and supercomputers to gain advantage over individual investors by exploiting trends and price discrepancies in milliseconds.

However, there is a higher dimension to cause and effect and it is based on Love and its rewards.  This higher level supersedes the logic of effort-based cause and effect and defies all formulas and man’s logic as well as prophecy.  I watched Christian television for two decades and read many books on prophecy.  I can’t count how many times Armageddon was suppose to take place.  The Lord’s return has been imminent for years and years.  I’ve read hundreds of prophecies by credible individuals and those prophecies have not panned out.  Why?  Love!  This higher realm has ruined a lot of eloquent prophetic, structured-based words over the years.  Each failed prophecy has chipped away at the credibility of those prophets.  We all want a reality that we can call “permanent” in our lives.  We all want predictability to remove the anxiety of the unknown.

Nineveh is the current day Mosul, Iraq.  In terms of cause and effect, Nineveh needed to be destroyed: Jonah 1:1  Now the word of the LORD came to Jonah the son of Amittai, saying,  2  "Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and cry out against it; for their wickedness has come up before Me."  After Our Heavenly Father’s corrective interview with Jonah during a cruise vacation, Jonah proclaims the Word of THE LORD: Then he cried out and said, "Yet forty days, and Nineveh shall be overthrown!"  Here we see cause and effect playing out in its predictive pattern.  You sin, you die! (Rambo interpretation)  Then something interesting happens and the king of Nineveh proclaimed:

Jonah 3:8  But let man and beast be covered with sackcloth, and cry mightily to God; yes, let every one turn from his evil way and from the violence that is in his hands. 9  Who can tell if God will turn and relent, and turn away from His fierce anger, so that we may not perish?  10 Then God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God relented from the disaster that He had said He would bring upon them, and He did not do it.

Jonah had been spared from his rebellion and delivered to the appointed destination to declare judgment.  But even though Jonah received mercy, Jonah became exceedingly displeased, and he became angry when Our Heavenly Father “relented”.  He told Our Heavenly Father to “take his life” now this his prophetic word failed.  After all, he received this word from THE LORD.  What Jonah did not understand is the higher level of cause and effect based on Love.  The structural level of cause and effect must respond and submit to the higher level.  Jonah did know that this level existed but without full understanding of its impact for he said “for I know that You are a  gracious and merciful God, slow to anger and abundant in lovingkindness, One who relents from doing harm.”

Our Heavenly Father’s abundant lovingkindness, grace, and mercy allows us to change the course of our lives.  We are not destined to sickness and disease, failures, and turmoil.  Our lawless acts do not guarantee a sentence of death and destruction even though The LAW requires restitution.  When we appeal to a higher realm, the lower realm must submit.  Rather than looking for signs, formulas, and trends of this structured realm, shouldn’t we be focusing on the higher realm where Love is in command and can change the course of events thus averting certain disaster?  As a corporate body, if we spent as much time, energy, and resources attempting to predict the future and placed our focus on understanding and walking in the Love of Our Heavenly Father, the result would be the outcome we all long for.

The Love of Lazarus (the 7th sign of the Book of John)

Monday, February 7th, 2011

The Book of John contains only 8 miracles and these are all classified as prophetic signs because of their significance. This 7th sign is connected to the 2nd sign of John 4:46 where the nobleman’s son was at the point of death.

John 11:1   Now a certain man was sick, Lazarus of Bethany, the town of Mary and her sister Martha.

2   It was that Mary who anointed the Lord with fragrant oil and wiped His feet with her hair, whose brother Lazarus was sick.

3   Therefore the sisters sent to Him, saying, "Lord, behold, he whom You love is sick."

Lazarus means “whom GOD helps” which is certainly appropriate in this passage.  Jesus’ ministry had a focus in the town of Bethany (house of fruit, or fruitfulness).  HE frequented the town often and had established relationships with many people there.  Mary had anointed HIS feet, one of three anointings recorded in the Gospels, on the fifth day before Passover at the house of Lazarus.  This occurred at the first of three recorded suppers during Passover week.

John makes it clear that Lazarus and this sisters had a close relationship with Our Lord Jesus Christ.  There is no doubt that Lazarus had heard the Gospel and was a believer.  However, he still got sick.  The Power from On High had not yet been dispatched among the brethren for the Day of Pentecost was yet to come thus the sisters did not summon the disciples, but Jesus Himself.

4   When Jesus heard that, He said, "This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God may be glorified through it."

Jesus would show all mankind the power and authority given unto him by Our Heavenly Father.  What greater power is there than the power over death!  By the time Jesus would arrive, there would be no question that Lazarus had died.

Just as Daniel was known as “greatly beloved”, Lazarus was known as “he whom You Love”.  Jesus did not question or challenge the sisters’ description of HIS relationship with Lazarus.  They also knew that HE could and would heal Lazarus, there was absolutely no question.

5   Now Jesus loved Martha and her sister and Lazarus.

6   So, when He heard that he was sick, He stayed two more days in the place where He was.

Verse 5 states that Jesus loved all three of this household.  In Scripture, “two days” often refers to the two millennia or two thousand year time period of the Pentecostal church age.  Jesus knew that Lazarus was suffering unto death but was not moved by his physical situation.  What?  Jesus loved Lazarus but allowed him to suffer?  We often think that suffering is of the adversary and that we should only skim along the high points of life.  Our Heavenly Father’s perfect plan, will, and purpose was greater than the temporary suffering of Lazarus.  Timing is important.  Lazarus’ death and resurrection would play out as a type and shadow of Jesus’ impending death and resurrection, also motivated by Love.

7   Then after this He said to the disciples, "Let us go to Judea again."

8   The disciples said to Him, "Rabbi, lately the Jews sought to stone You, and are You going there again?"

9   Jesus answered, "Are there not twelve hours in the day? If anyone walks in the day, he does not stumble, because he sees the light of this world.

10  But if one walks in the night, he stumbles, because the light is not in him."

He who has the Son, walks in the light.  He who is without the Son, walks in darkness.  The difference between revelation and darkness is “Jesus Christ” and he was about to show the power and authority one could walk in if he fully embraced the Light of the world.

11  These things He said, and after that He said to them, "Our friend Lazarus sleeps, but I go that I may wake him up."

12  Then His disciples said, "Lord, if he sleeps he will get well."

13  However, Jesus spoke of his death, but they thought that He was speaking about taking rest in sleep.

14  Then Jesus said to them plainly, "Lazarus is dead.

15  And I am glad for your sakes that I was not there, that you may believe. Nevertheless let us go to him."

16  Then Thomas, who is called the Twin, said to his fellow disciples, "Let us also go, that we may die with Him."

Jesus knew the physiological state of Lazarus, death, but the disciples had no clue.  Can you imagine how Mary and Martha felt?  They sought the help of Jesus and He did not immediately respond.  Lazarus dies and they had to bury him and go through all the sorrow of losing a loved one.  But wait!

17  So when Jesus came, He found that he had already been in the tomb four days. 18  Now Bethany was near Jerusalem, about two miles away. 19  And many of the Jews had joined the women around Martha and Mary, to comfort them concerning their brother.

20  Now Martha, as soon as she heard that Jesus was coming, went and met Him, but Mary was sitting in the house. 21  Now Martha said to Jesus, "Lord, if You had been here, my brother would not have died. 22  But even now I know that whatever You ask of God, God will give You."

23  Jesus said to her, "Your brother will rise again."

24  Martha said to Him, "I know that he will rise again in the resurrection at the last day."

25  Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. 26 And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?"

27  She said to Him, "Yes, Lord, I believe that You are the Christ, the Son of God, who is to come into the world."

28  And when she had said these things, she went her way and secretly called Mary her sister, saying, "The Teacher has come and is calling for you."29  As soon as she heard that, she arose quickly and came to Him. 30  Now Jesus had not yet come into the town, but was in the place where Martha met Him. 31 Then the Jews who were with her in the house, and comforting her, when they saw that Mary rose up quickly and went out, followed her, saying, "She is going to the tomb to weep there."

32  Then, when Mary came where Jesus was, and saw Him, she fell down at His feet, saying to Him, "Lord, if You had been here, my brother would not have died."

33  Therefore, when Jesus saw her weeping, and the Jews who came with her weeping, He groaned in the spirit and was troubled. 34  And He said,"Where have you laid him?"

They said to Him, "Lord, come and see."

35 Jesus wept. 36  Then the Jews said, "See how He loved him!"

37  And some of them said, "Could not this Man, who opened the eyes of the blind, also have kept this man from dying?"

38  Then Jesus, again groaning in Himself, came to the tomb. It was a cave, and a stone lay against it. 39  Jesus said, "Take away the stone."

Martha, the sister of him who was dead, said to Him, "Lord, by this time there is a stench, for he has been dead four days."

40  Jesus said to her, "Did I not say to you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?" 41  Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead man was lying. And Jesus lifted up His eyes and said,"Father, I thank You that You have heard Me. 42 And I know that You always hear Me, but because of the people who are standing by I said this, that they may believe that You sent Me." 43  Now when He had said these things, He cried with a loud voice, "Lazarus, come forth!" 44  And he who had died came out bound hand and foot with grave clothes, and his face was wrapped with a cloth. Jesus said to them, "Loose him, and let him go."

The power over death is the ultimate display of the Glory of Our Heavenly Father.  There is a certainty that is displayed that cannot be challenged by the human mind, it cannot be rationalized by the ego looking for an alternative to the glory.  Jesus displayed His Love for Lazarus by resurrecting him from the dead.  Jesus’ command of the “God” particles that made up Lazarus resulted in life, not death.  HE showed us that death is swallowed up by life and that Love is greater than sickness, disease, and even death.

Jesus is THE pattern son.  We need not look to other men as our example but only look at our Lord Jesus Christ to pattern our lives after.  We MUST cease in overlooking HIS motivation of Love in these miracles.  Love is the greatest attribute HE displayed.  Sure, faith and hope are necessary but Love is what brings forth power and authority in a sustained fashion.  As we immerse ourselves in the revelation of Love, we will become expectant of miracles in our own ministry as well.  The motivation of Love brings forth fruit that even death cannot resist!

1/11/11 Update

Thursday, February 3rd, 2011

Discerning relevance of events is something I take quite seriously.  All signs ultimately come from Our Heavenly Father but not all signs are relevant to each of us specifically.  With over 6.5 billion people and 365 days in a year, there are a multitude of signs available for our interpretation.  One of our responsibilities as believers is to filter the signs and discern which are applicable to us.  Also, The Most Holy Spirit will assist us as we become sensitive to The Spirit.

On 1/11, I received two relevant calls, one from my wife during her visit with her brother and the other from my associate working on the Bio-Conductance Analysis System (BCAS).  Both calls were focused on “healing the body”.

The BCAS project is in need of much more funding and the call referenced the fact that there are other potential contributors that may be interested in supporting our project.  One of our associates was traveling to the West Coast to pursue that possibility.  This project has the potential of touching the lives of every inhabitant of this earth and there is no other tangible project of this kind that I know of.  Every person has been exposed to toxins, bacteria, and/or viruses during their lifetime that impact their physiology.  Removal of these external stimuli give the body an opportunity of improved health no matter what the current state.

The second call came from my wife.  She had been watching Dr. Oz on the satellite network and Dr. Oz had a medical doctor who healed people by the Love of GOD.  He also worked with the acupuncture points (energy meridians) of the human body as well.  Bingo!  I went to Dr. Oz’s website but the video clip was not there.  On that particular day, the Tucson “Massacre” nationally preempted the Dr. Oz show on network TV thus they would air the segments of the show at a later date.  I did search the Internet for the man’s name to verify the video was not available and found his name to be Dr. Issam Nemeh, an anesthesiologist.

In the meantime, I was led to revisit the Book of Daniel concerning the 21 day delay and noticed that Daniel was known by the angel “O Daniel, a man greatly beloved,”.  The angel spoke this three times.  Even the greatly beloved had a 21 day delay.  Thus if something scheduled to happen on 1/11 could have been delayed to 2/1.  Sure enough, my wife informs me that the Dr. Oz segment that was preempted on 1/11 was going to air on 2/1.  Great!  I must watch this “Faith Healer”!

Then came the Blizzard of 2011 on the night of 1/31 into the day of 2/1.  Once again Dr. Oz was preempted, but only on the local TV network so the local TV reporters could tell us how bad it is outside.  My gosh, we could look out the window ourselves and see the 12” of snow on the ground.  Give me back  Dr. Oz!  I need to see the segment.

Finally, the segment was posted on the Internet site.  Yes, this confirms the revelation coming forth.  The Power and Authority are finally coming together.  HIS anointing will come at the appointed time.  The Pentecostal anointing had a “taste” of the Power but the authority was tainted with lawlessness.  The aspiring overcomers have been in “Law” school to understand Kingdom authority but without the “Power” seen in Pentecostal circles.  I believe the missing ingredient has been the revelation of “Love”.  This is the glue that brings Word and Spirit together.  Kingdom Power and Authority will only operate with Love as the motivating force.  Love is the primary characteristic of Our Heavenly Father and HE will not give the Kingdom Power and Authority as only seen in His Son Jesus unless we are found with the same motivating characteristic.

The following Oz segment is broken up into 3 parts

This is why I have been focused on Love for the last 5 years!  The Baptism of Love must be at hand.

21 Days, Years

Tuesday, January 25th, 2011

Dan 10:2   In those days I Daniel was mourning three full weeks.

Dan 10:3   I ate no pleasant bread, neither came flesh nor wine in my mouth, neither did I anoint myself at all, till three whole weeks were fulfilled.

Dan 10:4   And in the four and twentieth day of the first month, as I was by the side of the great river, which [is] Hiddekel;

Dan 10:5   Then I lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and behold a certain man clothed in linen, whose loins [were] girded with fine gold of Uphaz:

Often, we pray to Our Heavenly Father only to find that it appears our prayers have not been answered.  Time delays can be painful to our flesh but patience must have its perfect work.  Our minds would have us believe that those prayers fell by the wayside and would dash our hope against the rocks.  Daniel provides us a great lesson on timing.  Daniel was 89 years old at this time and he surely had gained much wisdom and understanding about spiritual things.

Daniel had been given a “word” or message from Our Heavenly Father.  This word needed greater understanding than Daniel had and so he prayed and fasted for 21 days.  Three full weeks passed and finally an angel appeared.  How many of us would pray and fast for three weeks?  These days, twenty-one days seems like an eternity to most.  The angel of THE LORD provides us some insight to what happened during those twenty-one days:

Dan 10:10   And, behold, an hand touched me, which set me upon my knees and [upon] the palms of my hands.

Dan 10:11   And he said unto me, O Daniel, a man greatly beloved, understand the words that I speak unto thee, and stand upright: for unto thee am I now sent. And when he had spoken this word unto me, I stood trembling.

Dan 10:12   Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words.

Dan 10:13   But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia.

Dan 10:14   Now I am come to make thee understand what shall befall thy people in the latter days: for yet the vision [is] for [many] days.

The angel explains to us that Daniel’s prayers were heard immediately and Our Heavenly Father dispatched an angel to respond.  Angels are created for specific purposes and are empowered and given authority to complete their tasks.  We also know that they are involved in spiritual warfare and must deal with legal issues that arise.  They will not carry out lawless acts and must abide by any legal “injunctions” brought forth by the adversary.  The Heavenly Court System is accessible by your adversary as well as yourself.  (Read the Book of Job).

The angel was dispatch to explain the “word” to Daniel and established Daniel’s reputation in the Heavenly realm by calling him “Greatly Beloved”.  What a blessing to be known in Heaven as “Greatly Beloved”!

The time continuum that we live in requires faith and patience.  Anointing comes at a specific time to bring forth power, authority, understanding, wisdom, knowledge, and skill.  Whether it be 21 days for Daniel or 21 years for Jacob, we must keep our focus on Our Heavenly Father and HIS perfect plan, will, and purpose for our lives.

Comments on 1/11/11

Thursday, January 13th, 2011

There is always something spiritual occurring in the continuum of time.  I have yet to see a double witness of the expectation I had for this date.  Throughout my life, Our Heavenly Father has been faithful to point out double witnesses of a specific revelation.  That has not occurred yet.  I remain steadfast and will report the confirmation of this watch date.  Fruitfulness has a time factor associated with it.  Seed can be planted but one must wait for the fruit.  In the meantime, I will press on to a greater revelation of Love and serving mankind with the gifts and calling of the Covenant established by Our Heavenly Father.

William Ford, former Atlanta Fed president, had quite an interview on 1/11 holding nothing back about the health of the Fed: http://www.cnbc.com/id/15840232?video=1737278951&play=1

The Declaration of Our Covenant

Tuesday, January 11th, 2011

When Our Heavenly Father breathed life into Adam, our Covenant was initiated on earth.  That breath of Life still exists today.  Within that “zoe” life is our covenant with Our Heavenly Father.  HE formed us in the womb by Divine Intent.  Intent always precedes action and ultimately fruit.  Each of us has a unique covenant with Our Heavenly Father.  This covenant has Love at its source for GOD is Love.  That covenant in many if not most cases has lied dormant within us.  This covenant draws us to our gifts and their development.  Our gifts draw us to our various callings.  The flesh would have us believe otherwise but our covenant is greater than our flesh.  Many people of influence have little regard for the callings of others.  Their entitled view of life robs them of the enjoyment of interaction with the callings of those who come in contact with them.

Paul wrote “Now He who establishes us with you in Christ and has anointed us is God”.  The empowerment of our calling lies squarely with Our Heavenly Father and HE protects HIS Covenant of Love with a veil until such time we are ready to embrace it and embark on the journey our Covenant has called us to.  Paul clarifies his point by embracing the fact the Christ is in us and is to be revealed:

Galatians 1:15-16   But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother’s womb and called me through His grace, to reveal His Son in me, that I might preach Him among the Gentiles, I did not immediately confer with flesh and blood,  NKJV

In the past, we have view ourselves as “independent” of Our Heavenly Father, the “Ever Living”.  HIS Spirit is everywhere and one day our limited understanding may comprehend that fact.  Christ (the Anointed One) is in us, the hope of Glory!  The anointing is in us whether active or dormant.  The  veil of blindness is as a locked gate of protection of that calling until it pleases God to lift the veil of blindness from our eyes.

“I come boldly to the Throne of Grace, authorized by the Blood of Jesus Christ.  Father, I acknowledge and comprehend that CHRIST is indeed in me and the full power and administration of my calling awaits the removal of my blindness.  Today, I ask that you lift the veil and empower that which has been awaiting the fullness of time in my life.  May today be that appointed day!  May today be the timing of your anointing to spring forth in a greater manner yet to be seen.  I declare YOU to the world.  I declare my Covenant with YOU to the world.  I declare fruitfulness and blessing of this Covenant to mankind.  May this Declaration be enveloped in Love and empowered by the same.  In Jesus’ Name, Amen!”

Lunar Eclipse: A 356 Year Event

Tuesday, December 21st, 2010

image

The blood-red eclipse lasted 72 minutes and it was the first total lunar eclipse to occur on the day of the Winter Solstice since 1638.  See: http://eclipse.gsfc.nasa.gov/5MCLE/5MCLE-Figs-09.pdf

This eclipse is precisely 21 days from my watch date of 1/11/11.  The wife and I set the alarm clock for 2AM and viewed the eclipse high above Bethany (where Jesus liked to hang out).  The high cirrus clouds did not impede our view, thankfully.  Known as the darkest day in our lifetime (the combination of the longest night and 72 minutes of an eclipsed moon), shouldn’t we expect more light (revelation) to come shortly?  Our Heavenly Father has used celestial events in the past to mark points in time.  Could this be one?
