On Friday, May 31st, Central Oklahoma had another notable tornado event, an EF5 tornado that measured 2.6 miles wide.  That is a record width.  It last 40 minutes, the time of testing.

This tornado clocked winds of 296 mph, just shy of the 318 winds measured in the May 3rd, 1999 tornado of Moore, Oklahoma.  This makes two rare EF-5 tornadoes in just 11 days, both within 30 miles of each other. Oklahoma has only had eight EF-5 tornadoes ever recorded.  Though in the following site they state the May 3rd tornado’s wind speed was 301 (death), it was reported at 318 when it occurred.

This tornado was about 13700 feet wide, 137 being the lifespan of Levi.  It would appear we are reaching a crescendo of some sort.  This was a multi-vortex tornado.  There were other separate tornadoes that hit the Oklahoma City area that evening.

I have not seen such fear as what happened on May 31st.  People were exceptionally fearful after the May 20th tornado.  The Interstate highways were gridlocked from people attempting to flee the storm.  As noted in the local coverage, the automobile is the worst place to be when a tornado is in the area.

This corresponds with the increased Spiritual activity we are seeing.  Increased activity is indicative of a breakthrough.  I trust the breakthrough will manifest soon.  From a Scriptural basis, notable revelation brings a response from the earth, whether it be rain, hail, snow, whirlwinds, earthquakes, etc.

I tend not to focus on events that happen on a daily basis for we have 6.5 billion people worldwide that cause some events to happen frequently.  However, when there appears to be an unusual course of events demanding our focus in an area it causes me to consider the Spiritual implications.  Lately, Oklahoma seems to be in the spotlight, even in Australia.  Our friends in Australia watched last night’s event unfolding.

Oklahoma became known as the “Heartland” of America after the 1995 Murrah Bombing.  Until that day, the U.S. had a protective “Spiritual” covering that kept the homeland safe from terrorism.  Since then much has happened to change the landscape in America.  The country has become polarized in all aspects.  The name “Murrah” has myrrh as its root and means “bitterness”.  The bombing definitely resulted from bitterness by its instigators. 

On May 3rd, 1999, Oklahoma experienced the rare F5 tornado that clocked winds at 318 miles per hour, the greatest wind speed recorded on earth.  318 is also a number of the remnant:

Genesis 14:14  And when Abram heard that his brother was taken captive, he armed his trained [servants], born in his own house, three hundred and eighteen, and pursued [them] unto Dan.

14 is the number for release and deliverance and fits quite well with the remnant, or Abraham’s army mentioned in 14:14.

On the afternoon of Monday, May 20, 2013, an EF5 tornado, with peak winds estimated at 210 miles per hour tore through Moore, Oklahoma, a suburb on the southern outskirts of Oklahoma City.

210 represents the Time of Jacob’s Trouble.  I would say Jacob is having trouble in OKC!

Last night on May 31st, we had another outbreak of tornadoes.  My family ended up in the basement for about 30 minutes as the tornado was tracking easterly on I-40 heading towards Bethany.  Suddenly, it turned southeast away from us.  The storm chasers were taken by surprise when it turned south.  Weather Channel’s Mike Bettes was thrown 200 ft. in his vehicle seen below:

The tornado’s track was steered away from Bethany in an unusual fashion.  It then headed down to Moore, near the May 20th tornado path.  Hailstones the size of grapefruit were connected with this storm, another unusual occurrence.  5 people died in last night’s tornado.

Oklahoma has become a noteworthy focus for earthquakes of 2.5 and greater.  Huh?  This isn’t California!  We have had 3 of 197 earthquakes worldwide in the last 7 days:

I have always viewed this state as a nice quiet place to live but it appears to be anything but “quiet”.

Rev 11:19  Then the temple of God was opened in heaven, and the ark of His covenant was seen in His temple. And there were lightnings, noises, thunderings, an earthquake, and great hail.

This seems like an appropriate Scripture to describe what is going on here in the “Heartland”.  Selah!

Softball-sized hail and significant tornadoes are in this afternoon’s forecast… again:

Purple is a little unusual, even for us.  There is much Spiritual activity occurring and I now believe I could term it “enhanced”.  Thankfully Our Heavenly Father picked out a house with an inside basement back in 1992.  We may be spending some time there if the threat becomes imminent.

Is there a great truth coming out of the Heartland?

Isaiah 28:16 Therefore thus says the Lord GOD:

​​​“Behold, I lay in Zion a stone for a foundation,

​​A tried stone, a precious cornerstone, a sure foundation;

​​Whoever believes will not act hastily.

17 ​​Also I will make justice the measuring line,

​​And righteousness the plummet;

​​The hail will sweep away the refuge of lies,

​​And the waters will overflow the hiding place.

18 ​​Your covenant with death will be annulled,

​​And your agreement with Sheol will not stand;

​​When the overflowing scourge passes through,

​​Then you will be trampled down by it.

19 ​​As often as it goes out it will take you;

​​For morning by morning it will pass over,

​​And by day and by night;

​​It will be a terror just to understand the report.”

Thank you for the calls, emails, and texts asking about our safety in light of the recent F5 tornado here in Central Oklahoma.  Thankfully we were about 10 miles north of the path it took.  Our prayers go out to all of those affected.  We have friends who live in Moore and they were spared as well.  I had detected spiritual activity earlier in the day as did my wife and daughter.  Our friend from Canada sent the following email:

Yesterday morning (20th. May) early as I was wakening from a deep sleep, I saw you Bob, sitting at the head of a table with both your hands turned down resting on the white cloth. I was sitting next to you on the left side of the table and I just rested my hand on your hand. This did not seem much but I just offered a prayer for you. As I meditated lying there on my bed, the verse came to me … "My grace is sufficient for you".

With the terrible tornado and all the devastation left happening somewhere near your area, I recalled the vision and Ray felt that I should send it to you.

Jeremiah 50:34 ​​Their Redeemer is strong;

​​The LORD of hosts is His name.

​​He will thoroughly plead their case,

​​That He may give rest to the land,

​​And disquiet the inhabitants of Babylon.

Our beloved sister from Northern Ireland brought this Scripture to my attention.  Recall the dream:

Yesterday, May 2nd, my wife had a second dream.  She had been awaken at 5:32, went back to sleep, and had the dream.  Once again there were indescribable people and she was given the Word “Acts” and the numbers “one to ten”.  Then she was strongly and emphatically given the word “thoroughly” .  She woke up.  We inquired of Our Heavenly Father about the dream and were given the reference: Luke 13:20  And again He said, “To what shall I liken the kingdom of God? 21 It is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal till it was all leavened.”  Acts Chapters 1 through 10 provide a detailed account: from the preparation of disciples to the preaching to the Gentiles.  This was the essence of the mandate to “go into all the world and preach the Gospel”.  The remnant is the lump that spread the Gospel to the whole world until it is all “leavened”.

Did the dream occur at 5:34?  Most likely.  Our Heavenly Father makes a subtle point.  We are a many-membered body and HE will use a sister in Northern Ireland to provide further revelation to a sister in Oklahoma about a prophetic dream.

Disquiet:

1) tremble, quake, rage, quiver, be agitated, be excited, be perturbed

a) (Qal) to quake, be disquieted, be excited, be perturbed

b) (Hiphil) to cause to quake, disquiet, enrage, disturb

c) (Hithpael) to excite oneself

I would expect the results in the dream would certainly “disquiet” the current system.
