Speechless!

Tuesday, November 27th, 2012

The parable of the Wedding Feast contains much revelation and we are admonished to pay close attention to its contents.  Our Heavenly Father sent HIS Beloved Son to speak these words and have them recorded for our use today.  In the previous blogs “Come!” we have been summoned to the Wedding Feast.  Other dispensations had the opportunity to participate but failed to respond.  We are now at the center of this parable and it is our destiny to attend this great feast.  The only question is what condition will we be in at our arrival.

Each of us is accountable for our own actions.  You can sit around and blame others for your situation but in the end… you are accountable.  You will stand before The Throne, not your parents, not your spouse, not your friends nor your enemies.  Just you.

If you were summoned to the Wedding Feast in Matthew 22 today, would you be ready?  If not, why?  Have you been busy with all of your attention on the world and its trappings?

Once the people had been summoned to the Wedding Feast, Our Heavenly Father arrives, “The king came in to see the guests”.  There was a formal assessment of the guests.  The king righteously judged each attendee and HE specifically approaches one who was not wearing an appropriate wedding garment.  Can you picture the scene?  All eyes were on the King as HE walked among the attendees.  HE specifically eyes the one without a wedding garment.  The servants had not perceived the issue or they would have surely not invited the man.  Other attendees had made no attempt to warn the man.  The man may have appeared acceptable to all except for the King.  So he said to him, ‘Friend, how did you come in here without a wedding garment?’  Not good!

A Wedding is a consummation of Love.  Two become one and begin a life that promotes and perpetuates life.  The marriage of the King’s Son is the first step to fatherhood and accepting the full authority over all the kingdom.  The bride is given an equal inheritance as well.  The importance of this event cannot be overstated.

And he was speechless.  At first glance, it would appear that the man was unknowingly unprepared and then he knew not to respond out of embarrassment.  However as we look at the word “speechless” we find that it means:

1) to close the mouth with a muzzle, to muzzle

2) metaphorically:

a) to stop the mouth, make speechless, reduce to silence

b) to become speechless

3) to be kept in check

The man was restrained from replying to the question.  Our Heavenly Father already knew the answer but posed the question to make HIS point.  There will be no acceptable excuses for being unprepared at a personal level.  Many voice their desire to be an Overcomer but your wedding garment will tell the story.  Let’s now focus on this wedding garment.  The wedding garment is defined in Revelations 19:

7   Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready.”

8   And to her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints.  NKJV

Your righteous acts will be your wedding garment.  You will not be able to attend the wedding by riding the coattails of someone else.  Each of us must have our own garment.  What are righteous acts?  The word ‘righteous’ comes from the root meaning:

1) righteous, observing divine laws

a) in a wide sense, upright, righteous, virtuous, keeping the commands of God

1) of those who seem to themselves to be righteous, who pride themselves to be righteous, who pride themselves in their virtues, whether real or imagined

2) innocent, faultless, guiltless

3) used of him whose way of thinking, feeling, and acting is wholly conformed to the will of God, and who therefore needs no rectification in the heart or life    a) only Christ truly

4) approved of or acceptable of God

b) in a narrower sense, rendering to each his due and that in a judicial sense, passing just judgment on others, whether expressed in words or shown by the manner of dealing with them

What is even more important is to understand that righteous acts are not only those acts that are according to the Law but are done with the intent of Love.  If your heart is not right, your acts will not be acceptable for Jesus said that Love fulfills the entire Law and the Prophets.  Personal preparation precedes the activation of your calling.  If your heart is properly prepared, your acts will be acceptable.  If you are walking in Love, you will properly respond to Our Heavenly Father’s voice and only do those things that HE calls you to do.  You are not required to perform based on peer pressure.  Each of us must restrain ourselves from being tempted to be swept into someone else’s calling or path.  Each of us has a personal mandate given to us by Our Heavenly Father.  Our wedding garment while acceptable will look different and unique versus someone else’s garment.  That is the beauty of a Wedding Feast.

Come! Part 2

Saturday, November 24th, 2012

In yesterday’s blog I wrote on the parable of the Wedding feast from Matthew 22.  There were three different attempts to bring forth attendees:

1)  Those who were not willing to come.

2)  Those who made a mockery of the Wedding and were lawless.

3)  Those who were called: Therefore go into the highways, and as many as you find, invite to the wedding.

The Scripture is multifaceted in what it speaks to us.  As we dig deeper into the parable and seek greater understanding, revelation opens up to us.  In this parable there are three groups of people who represent the major dispensations:  Passover Age (Israel), Pentecostal Age (the church), and Tabernacles Age (the Overcomers).  The Jews were not willing to come to the Wedding feast since they did not believe Jesus to be the Son of GOD.  The church in the Pentecostal Age has been known for its unrighteousness and sin.  Lawlessness included plundering and killing in the name of GOD.  The last 2,000 years of history confirm this prevailing attitude.  They have been too busy with their own doctrine to realize the importance of coming to this wedding.  Let’s focus on the third group.

“Therefore go into the highways” indicates where the servants are to find the third group.  They are not in organized religion but seem to be dispersed into the general population.  Further, “highways” is the same word translated as “The Way”.  In John 14:6  Jesus said “I am The Way, the Truth, and the Life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”  The Way into the Holy of Holies is by righteousness.  Jesus said in Matthew 5:8 “Blessed [are] the pure in heart: for they shall see God.”  Those with the revelation of The Way were called to the Wedding feast.  The messengers of Our Heavenly Father brought in the third group of people to the Wedding hall but then we are given an interesting addition to the parable:

Matthew 22:10  So those servants went out into the highways and gathered together all whom they found, both bad and good. And the wedding hall was filled with guests.

Both good and bad?  Here we have Our Heavenly Father who has sent out HIS servants and they return with some who are “bad” or wicked?  It is clear that the servants were not able to discern the hearts of the attendees or they would not have been gathered to attend.  It is one thing to get invited to the Wedding, and it is another to be acceptable.  You can have the revelation of Tabernacles and not be chosen to bring forth the Kingdom.  It is a heart issue.  The servants could not discern which people were to attend.  They were to gather all of those who were called to be Overcomers.  They did their job.  Now comes the time for the fruit inspection:

11  “But when the king came in to see the guests, he saw a man there who did not have on a wedding garment

Our Heavenly Father begins HIS inspection.  How would you like to be the man without a wedding garment?  Revelations 19 tells us more about the wedding garment:

7   Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready.”

8   And to her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints.

9   Then he said to me, “Write: ‘Blessed are those who are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb!’ ” And he said to me, “These are the true sayings of God.”

We will be inspected for our righteous acts, our fruit.  Will we be clothed with that fine linen, bright and pure?  Our Heavenly Father will judge our acts to determine if they are righteous.  We must understand that apparent righteous acts are subject to scrutiny.  They must be pure.  We will be judged for our intent behind those acts.  Will your wedding garment be fine linen?  Linen is what the High Priest wore in order to enter the Presence of THE LORD.  Can you imagine Our Heavenly Father asking you this question:

Mat 22:12   So he said to him, ‘Friend, how did you come in here without a wedding garment?’ And he was speechless.

Our Heavenly Father has given us ample opportunity to prepare.  HE has given us gifts and a calling plus all the tools to bring forth that calling that we might produce good fruit.  Our fruit WILL BE inspected.  Our intent will be discerned.  What motivates you?  Where do you spend your time?  Where do you place your finances?  You will not answer to me or any other aspiring Overcomer.  Will you too be speechless?  My desire is to get us all to the Wedding feast in proper attire however you are accountable for your actions and your fruit.  What was the result of not having on an acceptable wedding garment?

13  Then the king said to the servants, ‘Bind him hand and foot, take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’

You will be removed from the Presence of Our Heavenly Father.  You will then be placed into judgment for an extended cleansing and purification cycle.  Let not this judgment be exacted on you or me.  My goal is to insure that the brethren are acceptable in HIS sight.  How can we be assured of acceptance?  We must focus on becoming as our elder Brother Jesus.  He is the expression of the Love of Our Heavenly Father.  As we focus on Love, our actions based on Love will follow.  Those actions will produce good fruit.  When the time comes for inspection, we will be acceptable because we are wearing bright and pure wedding garments.  We will then fully comprehend the final verse of this parable:

14   “For many are called, but few are chosen.”

Come!

Proverbs 9:1 Wisdom has built her house, She has hewn out her seven pillars;

2 She has slaughtered her meat, She has mixed her wine, She has also furnished her table.

3 She has sent out her maidens, She cries out from the highest places of the city,

4 “Whoever is simple, let him turn in here!” As for him who lacks understanding, she says to him,

5 “Come, eat of my bread  And drink of the wine I have mixed.

6 Forsake foolishness and live, And go in the way of understanding

Wisdom prepares a feast for us to partake.  The number seven means“Spiritual Perfection” and here it is being associated with a feast.  Messengers are sent out to notify the people of a feast of wisdom and understanding.  It is a Feast of revelation.

Jesus also spoke a parable of a feast in Matthew 22:1-14.

The servants were sent out three times representing the revelation of three feasts: Passover, Pentecost, and Tabernacles in verses 3, 4, and 9:

3 and sent out his servants to call those who were invited to the wedding; and they were not willing to come.

4 Again, he sent out other servants, saying, ‘Tell those who are invited, “See, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and fatted cattle are killed, and all things are ready. Come to the wedding.” ’

5 But they made light of it and went their ways, one to his own farm, another to his business.

6 And the rest seized his servants, treated them spitefully, and killed them.

7 But when the king heard about it, he was furious. And he sent out his armies, destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city.

8 Then he said to his servants, ‘The wedding is ready, but those who were invited were not worthy.

9 Therefore go into the highways, and as many as you find, invite to the wedding.’

10 So those servants went out into the highways and gathered together all whom they found, both bad and good. And the wedding hall was filled with guests.

11 “But when the king came in to see the guests, he saw a man there who did not have on a wedding garment.

12 So he said to him, ‘Friend, how did you come in here without a wedding garment?’ And he was speechless.

13 Then the king said to the servants, ‘Bind him hand and foot, take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’

14 “For many are called, but few are chosen.”

Notice in verse 8 there are those who are not worthy.  Who are they?  Jesus spoke on this topic in an earlier parable:

Mathew 10:37 He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me. 38 And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me. 39 He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for My sake will find it.

Worthiness centers around “losing” your life, dying to self.  It is all about Love.  Our Heavenly Father has issued the command to “Come!” and people are too busy to receive the revelation of being an active participant in the coming age.  In all three dispensations, Our Heavenly Father issued the call.  Each time those who were invited were too busy with worldly tasks to partake of HIS bread.  The Age of Tabernacles is preceded by the command to Come and dine.  The Bride of Christ is to be consummated.  Are you distracted with other areas of focus?  Have you been misdirected to worldly projects?  Weddings are all about Love and unity.  If you are not clothed in a wedding garment of Love, will you be allowed to stay?  Unprofitable servants (Matt 25), those without revelation of how to serve, will be cast out of the banquet.  “For many are called, but few are chosen.”  Think about it!

The Human Agent of the LORD: Part 2

Thursday, November 22nd, 2012

As mentioned before:

In Acts 16, Paul is given a vision:

9 And a vision appeared to Paul in the night. A (certain) man of Macedonia stood and pleaded with him, saying, “Come over to Macedonia and help us.”

Thus Paul and Silas headed to Macedonia to preach the Gospel.  A certain slave girl possessed with a spirit of divination, a human agent of the spirit of Python, attempted to distract and misdirect Paul ever so slightly.  She prophesied a truth but was motivated by the wrong spirit:

17 This girl followed Paul and us, and cried out, saying, “These men are the servants of the Most High God, who proclaim to us the way of salvation.”

18a  And this she did for many days.

What she was the truth but was not appointed by Our Heavenly Father.  At first I am sure that Paul’s entourage was excited about these words of encouragement that confirmed his calling for “this she did for many days”.  Paul finally sensed a distraction to his mission:

18b   But Paul, greatly annoyed, turned and said to the spirit, “I command you in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her.” And he came out that very hour.

It is clear that Paul did not immediately detect the issue or he would have commanded the spirit to depart immediately.  It was not until he realized that she initiated a subtle distraction that greatly annoyed him did he take action.  Once he no longer had peace in his spirit did he realize the issue.  Distraction from our calling causes misdirection and it is ever so subtle.  Suddenly one day we wake up and realize we are focused on activities and events that have nothing to do with our calling but are now preoccupying time.  We are human agents of Our Heavenly Father to bring forth the Kingdom.  We cannot do this in a distracted state.

Once Paul removed her money making gift, he and Silas became targets for her owners.  Now Paul and Silas are “troubling their city and they teach customs which are not lawful for us, being Romans, to receive or observe.”.  The fact is that Paul and Silas upset the Babylonian system of greed, the love of money.  They were then thrown in prison.  The Law of Love of the Kingdom was being challenged a lower kingdom.  The kingdom of Python was being challenged by the Kingdom of GOD.

Paul and Silas were given many stripes on their back and then cast into prison.  They were then thrust into the inner prison with their feet in stock… maximum security.  Could a maximum security environment keep Paul and Silas from their calling?

25  But at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them.

26  Suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened and everyone’s chains were loosed.

Our Heavenly Father will do whatever is necessary to remove the roadblocks from your calling.  You must stay focused on HIM rather than the adversity before you.  The adversary will test you even to the extreme, especially when you challenge his territory.  His authority is subject to the ultimate authority of the Most High God and HIS Divine Court.  Paul and Silas were beaten and imprisoned under false pretense thus they had a right to seek judgment in the Court. They prayed and won the verdict.  Our Heavenly Father responded and freed their shackles.  The spirit of Python lost the case.  In addition, Paul led the prison warden to salvation thwarting the warden’s plan to commit suicide.  The warden’s entire household was saved and baptized that night.  Can you imagine the changes to the prison afterward?

Paul and Silas were the human agents selected to bring for the Gospel to Macedonia.  The job may seem to be glamorous until you read of them being beaten with stripes and thrust into prison.  How many of us would want that calling?

Back to the coin that represented victory over Python (from the previous blog)…

I had been carrying the coin as directed by Our Heavenly Father.  I was pursuing my calling as “Treasurer” and had an opportunity to discuss some funding projects in China that would generate notable income which could then be used to fund and establish the Kingdom.  An associate and I went up to Toronto to meet with three Chinese men.  The leader of these men was esteemed by the community.  No one would look him in the eye.  He spoke little English so one of the other men translated for him.  We met at a Chinese Restaurant in the Chinatown district of Toronto.  This was fourteen years ago now.  Our table was sectioned off with movable partitions for privacy.  We began what seemed to be a twelve course meal.  Both parties began assessing the other.  Much tea was served so from time to time each of us would excuse ourselves to the restroom.  While I was in the restroom, Our Heavenly Father spoke to me.  HE said, “Take out the gold coin and give it to the leader but only after you explain in a generic sense how you were given the coin”.

I returned to the table and did as I was directed.  I told the story and then unexpectedly displayed the coin and told the leader “The GOD of Heaven and earth directed me to give you this gold coin”.  Immediately both associates cried out “He is the one, He is the one”.  Obviously I was taken back.  The atmosphere surrounding the meeting immediately changed.  Suddenly we were embraced by these men and were then told the story:

The leader, let’s call him Sonny, had been in China meeting with a certain “Old Man” who has authority over a substantial portion of China’s wealth.  The man I gave the coin to was his protégé.  While Sonny was with the Old Man, he was led to give him a special lapel pin with a specific precious stone in it.  When he did the Old Man began to weep.  Inquisitive, Sonny asked the Old Man what happened.  “Fifty-five years ago I was given a vision that someone would give me the pin.  This would confirm that he would be my successor.  He will then meet with two “white” men and one of them will give him a gift.  That man has been selected to work with and have authority of the treasure of China as well.”  Sonny and his associates had been waiting the arrival of the two “white” men.  Little did I know that Our Heavenly Father had orchestrated the whole encounter which had begun before I was formed in the womb.  I now had a covenant over the wealth of China.

I was invited to go and view the “treasury”.  However I did not perceive that it was time.  To this day I have not been led to go and have lost contact with Sonny.  No problem.  I am not concerned about it since I know that Our Heavenly Father will bring forth the manifestation in HIS timing.  Had I begun working with their wealth at that time, I now see that I was not ready to walk out the calling.  Just as Paul needed to go through a fourteen year training period, each of us must go through our extensive training.  We must mature to the point that when we are challenged by spirits such as Python, we don’t fold under pressure.  Those who are led by the love of money will pull out all stops in an attempt to maintain control over wealth.  A financial calling isn’t as glamorous as one would think.

The (certain) man of Macedonia stood and pleaded must have been an angel requesting Paul, the human agent, to come and deal with Python.  Paul was prepared and willing to deal with any situation that arose.  He knew what he was called to do.  Nothing would ultimately distract him from his calling and he was given the needed tools to deal with whatever situation arose.

The Human Agent of the LORD

Tuesday, November 20th, 2012

After his conversion and fourteen years of preparation, the Apostle Paul was now in the midst of his calling- to preach the Word of GOD to the Gentiles. He had already made his first missionary trip from Antioch to Cyprus then southern Asia Minor. As mentioned in a previous blog, Paul dealt with Elymas the sorcerer.

In Acts 16, Paul is given a vision:

9 And a vision appeared to Paul in the night. A (certain) man of Macedonia stood and pleaded with him, saying, “Come over to Macedonia and help us.”

The Holy Spirit had already prevented Paul from preaching in Asia and Bithynia:

6 … they were forbidden by the Holy Spirit to preach the word in Asia. 7 After they had come to Mysia, they tried to go into Bithynia, but the Holy Spirit did not permit them. It was ordained that Paul go to Macedonia to preach and Our Heavenly Father placed roadblocks in front of Paul when he had attempted to go elsewhere. When doors are closed to us, we must conclude that Our Heavenly Father will open other doors for us to enter through. Paul was attempting to carry out his broad mandate to preach the Gospel but he had not been given the directive to specifically go to Asia or Bithynia. Many of us tend to go and do before we receive the Word of Our Heavenly Father. On the other hand, Jesus only proceeded as He was directed by Our Heavenly Father and He only spoke the words of Our Heavenly Father. He was fully led by The Spirit.

Paul, Timothy, and Silas headed to Macedonia to preach the Gospel. That seemed simple enough. At Philippi:

14 Now a certain woman named Lydia heard us. She was a seller of purple from the city of Thyatira, who worshiped God. The Lord opened her heart to heed the things spoken by Paul.

15 And when she and her household were baptized, she begged us, saying, “If you have judged me to be faithful to the Lord, come to my house and stay.” So she persuaded us.

The Lord will open our hearts as HE did to Lydia, to hear the Gospel thus we should pray that HE further open our hearts to hear the fullness of Love and other mysteries that have been held until this specific time in history. Lydia immediately wanted to serve the team by extending them hospitality.

Now things get a little dicey:

16 Now it happened, as we went to prayer, that a certain slave girl possessed with a spirit of divination met us, who brought her masters much profit by fortune-telling. 17 This girl followed Paul and us, and cried out, saying, “These men are the servants of the Most High God, who proclaim to us the way of salvation.” 18 And this she did for many days.

Paul has been called to preach in Macedonia and this slave girl possessed with a spirit of divination is now proclaiming a truth. On the surface, we ought to be excited. However this is an example of distraction and misdirection. "She did this for many days." Here we have a vessel of dishonor apparently going before the Disciples and proclaiming a truth. She was a fortune teller by trade and generated much profit for her masters. She was actually perpetuating her trade by using Paul’s anointing. She was using the Gospel to make money.

This girl had the spirit of Python. In Greek mythology the name of the Pythian serpent or dragon that dwelt in the region of Pytho at the foot of Parnassus in Phocis, and was said to have guarded the oracle at Delphi and been slain by Apollo.

This spirit was actually there to discredit Paul by foretelling. Stephen Jones wrote the following concerning his encounter with Python (the red dragon):

"The Dragon Wars really began as early as July of 1996, immediately following our decision to move from Seattle to Minneapolis. Our final decision was made on July 5, 1996, and we physically left Seattle on August 5. But before we left, we made a special trip to Sidney, on Vancouver Island (British Columbia), to visit Margaret Price, whose name means "Pearl of Great Price." She called on July 11, and we made arrangements to visit her and have a short vacation before leaving the area.

We arrived in Sidney on July 15 and returned the 17th. After she had called to invite us, and before we arrived, she was attacked spiritually in her feet by the spirit of Python (Acts 16:16, puthon, "divination"). We only learned of this after arriving there. We immediately went on high alert, because we recognized that we were up against a major spiritual power, which is pictured in constellation Draco, the dragon, who seeks to devour the Manchild. Gen. 3:15 spoke of the dragon (serpent) being bruised on the head, while in turn inflicting a bruise on the heel. Thus, Margaret’s feet were attacked."

Stephen was called by Our Heavenly Father to do battle with Python. Our Heavenly Father uses HIS "secret" agents to deal with the evil spirits that plague mankind and attempt to undermine the Gospel. Python wants to consume the Pearl of Great Price.

Further, Stephen wrote in The Dragon Wars:

We set the boundary on Padre Island on August 21 (1997), and then spent the night in Corpus Christi. The next day we drove to Victoria, Texas, where Bob Henley performed a New Covenant wedding ceremony for Darla and me, with Bill and Joan Thorpe as witnesses. This fulfilled the word about us coming into true unity.

In his first encounter with Python, Stephen was given a gold coin by Margaret as a token of appreciation and Love for dealing with Python. This gold coin represented authority over Python. Since China is known as the land of the dragon, we must conclude that Python is given authority as a Principality over that country. That gold coin became the symbol of "economic" authority over the Red Dragon. Our Heavenly Father led Stephen to present me with that gold coin as an act of Love for conducting the New Covenant wedding ceremony. Immediately Our Heavenly Father spoke to me and told me to carry the coin with me everywhere I went.

Just as Paul had to deal with Python in Acts 16, we too must deal with this principality. The economic power of China has been dramatically increasing and China has become the major lender to the US. However, Our Heavenly Father utilizes HIS human agents to bring forth HIS plan. These agents operate in the Spiritual realm and access the Divine Court and lawfulness to bring forth HIS plan. Paul went through a fourteen year preparation before he was fully commissioned to bring forth the Gospel. This was a time of cleansing and preparation to bring forth the spiritual perfection of Love.

Stephen and Darla initiated the move to unity in 1997. Fourteen years later, unity153 was begun with the proclamation "Now is the time!"

More on the gold coin in a later blog…

Ready for a Stress Test?

Friday, November 16th, 2012

Our Heavenly Father places people and resources in place in anticipation of upcoming events.  Next month will mark my seventh year of focus on the revelation of Love, as mandated by My Heavenly Father in 1997.  As we respond to HIS Voice, HE puts us on a course that is integrated into HIS overall plan.  With very few exceptions, we are not given the full picture of what we will be specifically called to do in the future.  If we were, we would probably screw things up a bit.  HE sees no need to reduce the effectiveness of HIS plan with our resistance to adversity.  Our adversities are designed to strengthen us, hone our faith, express our Love, and implicitly trust Our Heavenly Father.  We are not prepared with all of this stress testing and these trials to simply pass the time.  There is a reason.

In the current system, there is also stress testing:

“The Federal Reserve is asking 30 big banks to make sure their capital can withstand a deep recession in which the unemployment rate rises to 12%.”  See: http://www.marketwatch.com/story/banks-told-by-fed-to-test-for-12-unemployment-2012-11-15?link=MW_latest_news

Consider the landscape where there is another 50% unemployed based on the currently massaged statistics.  That would approach the the 1930’s Depression era levels in real terms.  This is not intended put fear in your heart but to provide further understanding of the importance of preparing your heart as a mature overcomer.  Each of us should be personally growing in our walk with Our Heavenly Father.  Yes, there are outwardly things to do but more importantly we must prepare ourselves inwardly.  The inward aspects of our life will manifest outwardly, not the other way around.  Faith, Hope, and Love will all be required when times become dicey, but the greatest requirement of these is Love.  What is your level of preparedness?

Turbulence expected ahead

Saturday, November 3rd, 2012

John Williams of Shadowstats.com writes:

U.S. Presidential Election.  On Tuesday, November 6th, voters will select the President of the United States who will serve for the term extending from January 2013 to January 2017.  Regardless of whether Barrack Hussein Obama or Willard Mitt Romney wins the election, the next presidential term most likely will see the onset of a domestic, hyperinflationary great depression.  That is the ultimate domestic financial disaster that has been predicted here for a number of years, with an outside timing of 2014 .  While the longer-range outlook should not be affected much by the election results, the impact of a very-short-lived shift in global confidence in the U.S. dollar is a possibility.”

I pay particularly close attention to John’s comments because he takes the US Government’s own raw data and calculates the various statistics based on historical apples-to-apples comparisons.  His statistics are not manipulated to present a rosy picture but he simply “tells it like it is”.  Like Joe Friday on Dragnet would say, “Just the facts Ma’am”.

I don’t write these blogs on Biblical Economics to evoke fear in people.  Instead I try to prepare people for change I see coming.  I don’t expect the world to end but expect a new Kingdom to come forth.  For this to happen the old kingdom must give way for the New Kingdom to come.  The change will be massive and I believe Our Heavenly Father is preparing our hearts for this change.  The destruction of the old kingdom will not take HIM by surprise but HE is preparing the hearts of those who are called to be raised up during the coming change.  The challenges will be great but I expect the miracles to exceed the challenges.  Just as the challenge of cancer is great at a personal level, the healing of cancer exceeds the sickness.  We must always remember that the Creator is always greater than the creation.  Our Heavenly Father is well equipped to resolve any and all global issues.  HE will use those whom HE is raising up to deal with the issues at hand.  They will be the mature Sons who will perfectly represent HIS best interest because the hear HIS Words and have taken on HIS character- Love.  Those are the ones who will be raised up to produce fruit for the Kingdom to come.

Defender of Mankind

Monday, October 29th, 2012

The name Sandy means “defender of mankind”. To boot, Hurricane Sandy has taken on an unusual “S” pattern for its path into the U.S. Eastern Seaboard.  That screams “prophetic”.  Just days before the election, this perfect storm seems to be making a statement which will require some discerning.  As I have traveled to other countries in the past, other countries have communicated a love/hate relationship with the USA.  People are tired of being controlled and manipulated by the powerful US but like the opportunity afforded by its founding principles.

Jesus Christ is the real defender of mankind and will ultimately take the throne in men’s hearts.  Agape Love will  prevail as the guiding force and mankind will respond by accepting Christ as their king.  At that point, peace will truly come forth.  Our prayer continues to be “Thy Kingdom come, They Will be done on earth as it is in Heaven”.

Revealing the Mystery

Are we willing to believe and act on a prayer by Paul The Apostle?  The current system would fight us to the end on this prayer to bring forth the Kingdom.  Why do we continue to focus on all else?  The adversary and the current system wants us to focus on “B” and “C” priorities, not the “A” priority of Agape Love.  If we will continue to focus on anything but the prize, we will never attain the prize.  Jesus Christ directed our focus to Love in HIS Sermon on the Mount.  HE stated the Law is summed up by Love.  He stated that we must Love our enemies in addition to Loving Our Heavenly Father and our neighbor.  In Matthew 22 HE told us “Many are called but few are chosen”.  This would indicate there to be a condition that satisfies HIS selection of us.  Some believe there is nothing for us to do in order that we be chosen.  I disagree.  We are called to do many things: we are to plant, we are called to pray, we are called to fast, etc.  Paul prays that we be strengthened with might.  This would indicate that we need strength for “something”.  We are to occupy until HIS return, another action.  We must accept the fact that we need power to accomplish what we have been called to do.  We must accept the fact that the adversary will test our resolve to act.  If we had no impact on the outcome, why would we need an adversary?  Why would we need to be trained and tested?  For those of us who believe that Our Heavenly Father will reveal the mystery that is tied to the the fullness of the Holy Spirit, we will actively pursue this fullness.  What is the key to this pursuit?  Paul says “to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge”.  The key to the fullness is right there before our very eyes!  Why is it that we continue to focus on anything else?  Our fleshly man wants to stay in control… period!  Look in the mirror and ask yourself if you really want “the fullness of God”.  Do you want to be in that core group who brings forth the Stone Kingdom that grows and takes over the entire planet?  The time is now to focus on the prize set before us.  Quit assuming that the “fullness” is somewhere out in the future.  It will remain there as long as the fleshly man has his way.  The ego wants to control your path and focus and thus keep the manifestation of the Love of Christ out in the future, never to arrive on earth.  If Paul didn’t think that the manifestation would come, he surely would not have written the following, directed by the Spirit of Our Heavenly Father:

Ephesians 3:14 For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,

15 from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,

16 that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man,

17 that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love,

18 may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height—

19 to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

20 Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,

21 to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

At the beginning of the Pentecostal Age, there were a small group in one accord in the Upper Room.  Will you be in that small group in accord for the initial manifestation of the Tabernacles Age?  I believe this is who the Apostle Paul was praying for.

Our Sunday Afternoon Bible Study is intended to bring forth the manifestation of this prayer.  See: http://www.servias.org/?p=1230

The Revelation of Love

Tuesday, September 25th, 2012

Over the last forty years I have heard many teachings on the Book of Revelation.  Each teaching was based on a facet of the focus of the minister.  If he or she was focused on global destruction, the teaching would center around those passages that spoke of such destruction.  I am interested in looking at facets that cover the broad spectrum of the intent of the Revelation of Our Lord Jesus Christ which is how this final book begins.

First of all this Revelation was given to John, the beloved disciple.  He wrote through the eyes of Love, thus the name “Beloved”.  He ends his Gospel with the revelation of the 153 fish- the Sons of GOD.  Who better to give this prophecy to but to one who has the revelation of Love.  Who better to entrust such a prophecy to that would span thousands of years but to one who would walk and write of the greatest revelation “For GOD so Loved the world”.

It is not my intent to dissect each symbolic passage and apply it to history or focus on some forthcoming geopolitical event.  I want to look at how it applies to the here and now.  After all that is where we live each day and must direct our efforts to produce fruit for the Kingdom.  We are first instructed:

Rev 1:3  “Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it; for the time is near.”

What are we to “keep”?  The understanding that produces some response on our part.  When we hear, we respond.  When we hear not, nothing happens.  Think about it.  Revelation produces a response in us whether it be a specific action, a change in our path, or a new focus.  Something in us changes.

John writes to the seven churches in Asia.  We can look at these churches in various facets of history, in various states of challenges, or at a personal level.  The leader of a country is a reflection of the people.  The state of each church is a reflection of its members.  The very first church John addresses in the Revelation is Ephesus.  When we consider the issues that so easily beset us, we normally deal with the first and foremost issue.  I believe this Revelation did just that:

Rev 2:4   “Nevertheless I have this against you, that you have left your first love.”

The very first issue with the people is Love!  How many of us were overcome with excitement at the time of our salvation or at the Baptism of the Holy Spirit?  It was like the weights were removed from us and we had this new zeal for The LORD.  Nothing else mattered.  We were like young thoroughbreds who wanted to run even though we knew not where to go.  Have you lost your first Love?  Have you forgotten what your salvation was based on?  Love!

The Book of Revelation is written to "him that overcometh”:

The church of Ephesus:  “To him who overcomes I will give to eat from the tree of life, which is in the midst of the Paradise of God.”

The church in Smyrna:  “He who overcomes shall not be hurt by the second death.”

The church in Pergamos:  “ To him who overcomes I will give some of the hidden manna to eat. And I will give him a white stone, and on the stone a new name written which no one knows except him who receives it.

The church in Thyatira:  “And he who overcomes, and keeps My works until the end, to him I will give power over the nations”

The church in Sardis:  “He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels.”

The church in Philadelphia:  “He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he shall go out no more. I will write on him the name of My God and the name of the city of My God, the New Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God. And I will write on him My new name.”

The church of the Laodiceans:  “To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.”

Consider the progression of the promises listed above: Life, no second death, manna to eat, power over nations, clothed in white garments, pillar in the temple, sitting with Jesus on HIS throne.  What does it take to overcome?  We must not lose our Love.  Love must be our motivation to overcome or otherwise we will grow weary.  Love will sustain us as we overcome all obstacles.  Our Love empowers us as overcomers and without it, we will fall into the same situations that were mentioned among the churches.  What must we overcome?  All challenges that would prevent us from embracing the Revelation of Love and walking in the same Love that overcometh the world.  Think about it.
