Miracles: Part 1

Tuesday, January 27th, 2026

Miracles are Love expressed in power!

The majority of believers do not expect miracles, and it is due to unbelief.  Teaching from the pulpit has watered down the Gospel because of unhealed disappointment and unanswered prayer.

Jesus spoke in Mark chapter 9:

23 Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”

24 Immediately the father of the child cried out and said with tears, “Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!”

25 When Jesus saw that the people came running together, He rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to it: “Deaf and dumb spirit, I command you, come out of him and enter him no more!”

26 Then the spirit cried out, convulsed him greatly, and came out of him. And he became as one dead, so that many said, “He is dead.”

27 But Jesus took him by the hand and lifted him up, and he arose.

The Gospels recorded 37 miracles performed by Jesus in His 3 ½ years of ministry on the earth.

Jesus spoke in John chapter 14:

12 “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.

13 And whatever you ask in My Name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

14 If you ask anything in My Name, I will do it.

How many of us are walking in the manner that Jesus spoke of in the above passage?  Do you have to travel a thousand miles to a meeting to experience a miracle?

The expectation of miracles has been limited by redefining GOD’S present activity.  Unbelief doesn’t say “GOD no longer heals.”  Instead, it whispers, “GOD can heal, but HE usually doesn’t.”  The excuse that GOD is sovereign is associated with such thinking.  This doctrine essentially removes accountability and responsibility away from the believer.

That being the case, what do you do with Jesus’ command to do “greater works” than Him?  Lack of miracles is not drawn from Scripture, but from experience.

Scripture never authorizes experience to interpret Truth.  Truth interprets experience!

What you believe about miracles determines how you pray, how you expect, how you interpret delay, and how you respond when symptoms remain.  Your belief shapes your posture and your posture shapes prayer, and ultimately, prayer shapes experience.

Jesus never adjusted Truth to accommodate disappointment.  He never softened revelation to protect wounded expectation.  Jesus never said, “Miracles once happened, but times have changed.”  Instead He said, “”If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”

Did He really mean “All things are possible?”  Did that include miracles?  Did FATHER change HIS Divine Intent in the last 2,000 years?  Jesus’ statement has never been revised and has never expired nor was it ever limited to a generation!

Did Peter believe that miracles had passed away when Jesus went to the cross?

Luke recorded by The Holy Spirit in Acts chapter 3:

6 Then Peter said, “Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.”

7 And he took him by the right hand and lifted him up, and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.

The man had been lame his entire life but that did not intimidate or limit Peter in any way.  Peter had just spent forty days being instructed by Jesus Himself after His resurrection, concerning the Kingdom of GOD.  Peter had been baptized in The Holy Spirit, speaking in Tongues.  He was no longer a “knucklehead”, but now endued with power from On High and, he knew it and embraced it.

After the Day of Pentecost where 3,000 souls were added to the church, Luke records by The Holy Spirit in Acts chapter 2:

43 A deep sense of Holy awe swept over everyone, and the apostles performed many miraculous signs and wonders.

People change when they see miracles happen, especially when they experience a miracle themselves.  Isn’t it time to no longer allow unbelief to determine our personal walk with Christ?  Isn’t it time that each of us begin expecting miracles to take place as we pray?

Don’t let your past experience of disappointment determine your future!

Distractions Impede Spiritual Maturity

Monday, January 26th, 2026

Don’t allow yourself to be distracted!

As I have written in the past, we must not allow ourselves to be distracted when we are immersing ourselves in The Word.

Distraction during the study of the Word of God is a calculated spiritual strategy by the enemy, not merely human weakness. The enemy understands that the Word, when truly received, is an active force that threatens darkness.

Distraction is one of satan’s most effective devices because it appears natural while causing Spiritual interruption. The enemy fears believers who consciously receive Scripture, as reception leads to transformation.

Jesus spoke in Matthew chapter 13:

19 When anyone hears the Word of the Kingdom, and does not understand it, then the wicked one comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart. This is he who received seed by the wayside.

22 “The one sown among thorns represents one who receives the message, but all of life’s busy distractions, his divided heart, and his ambition for wealth result in suffocating the Kingdom message and It becomes fruitless.

The enemy tries to snatch the sown Word immediately, not later, to prevent it from taking root in the heart, which is the soil of spiritual growth.  The Word of God is “God speaking to us,” meaning authority is being transferred, and dominion is shifting. Distraction prevents believers from hearing God clearly, which in turn hinders faith and action.

In Hebrews 4:12, The Word of God is described as quick, powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, designed to cut through error, expose false agreements, and dismantle fear-based identities. Distraction is a subtle attempt to prevent this penetration.

Jesus spoke in Luke chapter 8:

18 So pay careful attention to your hearts as you listen to My teaching, for to those who have open hearts, even more revelation will be given to them until it overflows. And for those who do not listen with open hearts, what little light they imagine themselves to have will be taken away.”

Hearing is intentional and participatory. The enemy targets the believer’s posture because it determines how deeply the Word can penetrate.

James wrote by The Holy Spirit in James chapter 1:

21 So this is why we abandon everything morally impure and all forms of wicked conduct. Instead, with a sensitive spirit we absorb God’s Word, which has been implanted within our nature, for the Word of Life has power to continually deliver us.

And Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in 2nd Corinthians chapter 10:

5 casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ,

In order to remain sensitive to absorbing The Word, we must not allow our thoughts to drift away from focusing on The Word.

Distraction during the Word is often about protecting existing strongholds, which are held by beliefs and imaginations that exalt themselves against God’s knowledge. The Word is designed to dismantle these patterns.  Distraction is aggressively deployed by the enemy when faith is about to rise, as faith comes by hearing the Word, leading to authority and the collapse of the enemy’s influence.

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Romans chapter 10:

17 So then faith comes by hearing (and embracing), and hearing by the Word of God.

Distraction delays the renewing of the mind, which preserves old patterns and agreements, ultimately preserving spiritual bondage.

And in Romans chapter 12:

2 Stop imitating the ideals and opinions of the culture around you, but be inwardly transformed by the Holy Spirit through a total reformation of how you think. This will empower you to discern God’s will as you live a beautiful life, satisfying and perfect in His Eyes.

The enemy is not threatened by casual exposure to Scripture but by its assimilation into the believer’s inner framework.  Learning to guard one’s attention during the Word is a strategic act of Spiritual warfare, Shaping spiritual outcomes by allowing Truth to awaken, restore, and realign.

When the Word is received without interruption, it awakens, restores, and realigns the believer, reminding them of who they are in Christ.

Express Praise In All Situations

Sunday, January 25th, 2026

Praise is agreement with GOD’S Character and is the highest expression of faith!

Clarity produces authority and when you praise GOD, your clarity increases.  You align your mindset with HIS.  Once you do, the battle is won. Praise brings you into the continual awareness of GOD’S triumph!

It is written by The Holy Spirit in 2nd Chronicles chapter 20:

20 So they rose early in the morning and went out into the Wilderness of Tekoa; and as they went out, Jehoshaphat stood and said, “Hear me, O Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem: Believe in the LORD your God, and you shall be established; believe His prophets, and you shall prosper.”

21 And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed those who should sing to the LORD, and who should praise the beauty of Holiness, as they went out before the army and were saying: “Praise the LORD, For His mercy endures forever.”

This is clearly contradictory to what man would do.

22 Now when they began to sing and to praise, the LORD set ambushes against the people of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir, who had come against Judah; and they were defeated.

Praise defeated their enemies!  How?

King David recorded by The Holy Spirit in Psalm chapter 22:

3 But You are Holy, Enthroned (and inhabit) in the praises of Israel.

Praise shifts the battlefield and atmosphere: Praise moves believers from the seen to the unseen realm, focusing their eyes on God rather than the attack. When praise rises, the enemy’s influence collapses.

Praise is not about moving God, but about aligning oneself with what God has already done. It shifts believers into a realm governed by God’s promises.

Luke recorded by The Holy Spirit in Acts chapter 16:

23 And when they had laid many stripes on them (Paul and Silas), they threw them into prison, commanding the jailer to keep them securely.

24 Having received such a charge, he put them into the inner prison and fastened their feet in the stocks.

25 Paul and Silas, undaunted, prayed in the middle of the night and sang songs of praise to God, while all the other prisoners listened to their worship.

They shifted the realm from the physical to the Spiritual.  What was the result?

26 Suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened and everyone’s chains were loosed.

27 And the keeper of the prison, awaking from sleep and seeing the prison doors open, supposing the prisoners had fled, drew his sword and was about to kill himself.

28 But Paul called with a loud voice, saying, “Do yourself no harm, for we are all here.”

29 Then he called for a light, ran in, and fell down trembling before Paul and Silas. 30 And he brought them out and said, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?”

31 So they said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.”

32 Then they spoke the Word of the Lord to him and to all who were in his house. 33 And he took them the same hour of the night and washed their stripes. And immediately he and all his family were baptized.

34 Now when he had brought them into his house, he set food before them; and he rejoiced, having believed in God with all his household.

Paul and Silas did not escape but were set free by the legal authority of the guard.  Salvation came to the guard and his family because praise changed the atmosphere.

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Colossians chapter 3:

2 Yes, feast on all the treasures of the Heavenly realm and fill your thoughts with Heavenly realities, and not with the distractions of the natural realm.

Paul was not distracted by being in prison and shackled, he focused on the Heavenly realities and sang praises to THE LORD.  He understood that praise is a weapon.

It is written by The Holy Spirit in Psalm chapter 149:

6 God’s high and Holy praises fill their mouths, for their shouted praises are their weapons of war!

Praise is a powerful spiritual weapon that the devil fears more than prayers or Bible reading. Unlike what many believers perceive as a soft emotion, praise is a war cry and Spiritual resistance.

Praise stills, stops, and shuts down the enemy’s mouth, stripping him of influence and denying him access. This is why the devil wants believers silent and focused inward.

Praise creates a realm around a believer where darkness cannot legally operate, building a “Throne Room atmosphere”. It’s the believer enforcing the reality of Christ’s finished work.  Every act of praise reminds us of Christ’s triumph, declaring that satan’s authority has been broken. This is why the enemy tries to empty praise of its revelation and power.

Praise is a lifestyle and posture, not merely an emotion or a reaction to circumstances. It should rise from identity in Christ, righteousness, and the finished work of Christ, leading to clarity, strength, and authority.

The following song is such an expression of praise:

Initiating Revival

Saturday, January 24th, 2026

We are to initiate revival, not wait on a Sovereign move of GOD!

The term “Great Awakening” has been declared for this final move of GOD on the earth.  Who is meant to be awakened?  Not God, we are to awaken to our responsibility to bring forth Heaven to earth.  These latest writings are meant to awaken us, not FATHER.  We must not shirk our responsibility and defer to FATHER to bring forth this Great Awakening.  HE is waiting for us.

Light does not wait to shine.  Light shines because shining is its nature!

The deepest obstacle to revival is disagreement. This includes internal division between a believer’s mind and spirit, their confession and God’s Word, and their prayers and expectations.  Revival flows in agreement—agreement in spirit, expectation, and faith.

When believers tolerate internal division or act in contradiction to their prayers, they unknowingly sabotage the awakening they are seeking.  Revival responds to spiritual consistency, where believers think, speak, and act in agreement with God’s Word.

Prayers for revival often fail because Christians are praying for something God has already placed inside them or already provided.  This is due to a human misunderstanding of what God has already accomplished.

The following are reasons for the failure of prayers for revival:

Asking God for what He has already given and begging Him to do what He has already commanded.

Pleading for Holy Spirit Fire that is already burning in their spirit and waiting for winds that have already filled their inner man.

Praying from a place of separation, insufficiency, or distance instead of union, fullness, and indwelling with Christ.

Praying for what they already possess.

Praying from unbelief about what God has already given.  A believer who prays for revival while believing they are powerless, unworthy, or spiritually empty is praying from contradiction.

Refusing participation and expecting God to move sovereignly without requiring anything from them.

Waiting for Spiritual sensations or feelings instead of acting on Spiritual Truth and faith.

Tolerating internal division between their mind and spirit, confession and God’s Word, and what they pray and what they expect.

Speaking discouragement, defeat, or unbelief, which cancels the awakening they are asking for.

The early church should be our example of revival as contained in the Book of Acts.

To reiterate:

Unlike many modern Christians who pray for revival to be “sent” from Heaven, the early church never prayed, “Lord, send revival.”  Instead, they prayed, “Lord, stretch forth Thy Hand”, indicating a belief that God was already present and moving through them.

The early church recognized that revival flows from within the believer, not from external sources. They understood that the Fire from the upper room took residence in people, rather than returning to Heaven.

The early church did not ask God to stir them because they already knew they were stirred and declared the Word with boldness. This contrasts with modern believers who “wait for God to ignite what He commanded them to stir”.

They did not ask God to give power but rather acted on the power they had already received. This directly opposes the modern tendency to pray as though “power must be requested rather than released”.

The early church did not plead for Heaven to move; instead, they moved because Heaven had already been given, and as they moved, Heaven manifested.  This highlights that they were “being revival,” rather than waiting for it to be an external event.

The early church operated from an understanding that God had already supplied all things pertaining to life and Godliness, and that revival was the believer awakening, not God finally responding. This contrasts with the idea that prayer for revival fails because Christians “ask God for what HE has already given”.

In essence, the early church exemplified a posture of releasing and acting upon what God had already provided within them, rather than passively waiting or requesting something they believed had yet to come

We Are To Walk In Authority

Friday, January 23rd, 2026

We are to walk in the authority in the Name of Jesus!

The Name of Jesus is not merely a polite ending to a prayer, but a powerful Spiritual weapon and legal authority.  In an earlier posting, we were to understand what the Name of Jesus afforded us to walk in.  This posting is to emphasize how important it is for us to fully embrace the power and authority of His Name.  Paul understood this Truth as he walked in the legal authority of the Name of Jesus.

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Colossians chapter 3:

17 And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the Name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.

And in Philippians chapter 2:

9 Because of that obedience, God exalted Jesus and multiplied His greatness! He has now been given the greatest of all names!

10 The authority of the Name of Jesus causes every knee to bow in reverence! Everything and everyone will one day submit to this Name—in the Heavenly realm, in the earthly realm, and in the demonic realm.

Most believers have ignorantly diluted the Name of Jesus because they weren’t taught the reverence attached to His Name, me included.  The legal authority attached to His Name is greater than any earthly court to those who truly have the revelation of His Name.

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in 2nd Corinthians chapter 5:

20 Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God.

As an ambassador, I am fully authorized to speak on Christ’s behalf and in the power and authority of His Name.  To be qualified, I must have the revelation of His Name.

John 14:20 (4:28) states, “Ye in me and I in you.”

John 16:23 (4:46) is referenced when Jesus said, “Whatsoever ye shall ask the father in my name, he will give it you.”

Acts 19 (5:00) is mentioned in the context of the sons of Sceva.

Ephesians 2:6 (6:16) is declared as stating that believers are “seated with Christ in heavenly places.”

John 14:12 (7:45) is quoted as Jesus saying, “He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also.”

Mark 16:17 (10:28) declares, “In my name shall they cast out devils.”

Acts 16 (10:53) is referenced regarding Paul confronting the python spirit.

John 14:13 (15:44) is mentioned when Jesus said, “Whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do.”

The name of Jesus is exalted above every name, including sickness, fear, and demonic resistance. It’s described as legal authority, Spiritual jurisdiction, and the signature of the risen Christ.

We are to Operate by revelation, faith, and identity.  The power of the Name isn’t automatic; It operates through revelation, faith, and the believer’s identity in Christ. Many Christians speak the name without understanding the authority behind it or their position in Christ.

Jesus earned His Name through conquest, defeating hell and rising triumphant. This enthronement is embedded in the Name, so when believers speak it, hell hears defeat and Heaven hears the blood.

The early church didn’t use the Name as a customary closing to prayer but to enforce a verdict, understanding It carried the authority of the risen Christ. Peter’s healing of the crippled man in Acts 3 demonstrates this, where he issued a command, not a request, acting as an ambassador for Christ.

The authority of the Name is not just given to believers but shared with them through their union with Christ. This is why the sons of Sceva failed, as they lacked union with Christ, despite speaking the Name.

When believers use the Name of Jesus, they stand in His place, in His victory, righteousness, and dominion. This means speaking to circumstances and confronting darkness from a position of having already won, rather than fighting to win.

The modern church has reduced the name to a ritual, but the early church understood it as the authority behind every opening, the foundation of their prayers, and the force of their declarations.

The Name of Jesus not only commands demons but also circumstances, patterns, atmospheres, and resistance. Speaking the Name legally transfers situations from the jurisdiction of darkness to Christ’s jurisdiction.

The Name works when spoken from faith, which flows from identity in Christ, not desperation.  Doubt, condemnation, and unbelief weaken the command, as the enemy attacks the believer’s identity to prevent them from wielding the Name boldly.  The Name is meant to govern the believer’s daily atmosphere, serving as a shield against fear and anxiety, and establishing jurisdiction over their household and body.

Coming Into Unity

Thursday, January 22nd, 2026

Heaven does not respond to crowds; Heaven responds to unity!

Agreement requires inner alignment before it can produce outer unity.

Inner Alignment begins with one believer agreeing with God. It means aligning one’s heart with God’s Word, mouth with the Truth, and will with The Spirit. It requires a settled heart and is the fruit of conviction, not emotion, emerging when God’s Word governs the inner man. Heaven does not partner with unbelief, contradiction, or double-mindedness, emphasizing the necessity of this internal consistency.

Once inner alignment (vertical agreement with God) is established, horizontal agreement with another believer multiplies its effect.  Instability (being double-minded) prevents agreement from flowing. Many believers attempt to agree with others while still divided internally, wavering, or holding conflicting beliefs.

In essence, true outer unity and effective agreement with others are only possible when individuals first achieve internal alignment and stability in their faith and beliefs.

Agreement becomes governmental when “faith stops being theoretical and becomes governmental,” which means it governs outcomes, atmospheres, circumstances, and the activity of Heaven on earth.

Agreement is Spiritual legislation.  Regarding “governmental terms,” binding and loosing” from Matthew 18:18 as governmental terms that speak of authority and decisions backed by Heaven. When two agree, Heaven responds forcefully because unity mirrors God’s Nature.

Offense stops agreement because it replaces unity, trust, and Spiritual transparency.  Agreement requires open hearts, mutual trust, and believers standing together without the shadows of mistrust, gossip, woundedness, or pride.  When these negative elements, such as unspoken tensions, unresolved conflicts, doctrinal debates, and personality-driven divisions, infiltrate churches and relationships, they fracture unity.  As Amos 3:3 asks, “How can two walk together except they be agreed?” implying that agreement is the only environment where progress is possible).

Therefore, offense, disunity, and hidden resentment directly halt agreement, and when unity collapses, so does authority. The enemy actively works to sow division among believers not because he fears their fellowship, but because he fears their agreement.

Jesus spoke in the following:

Matthew chapter 18:

19 “If two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask, it shall be done for them.”

And in John chapter 10:

30 “I and My Father are One.”

John chapter 17:

21 “That they all may be one.”

Matthew chapter 18:

18 “Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven.”

Mark chapter 3:

25 “If a house be divided against itself, that house cannot stand.”

It is written by The Holy Spirit in Ecclesiastes chapter 4:

9 “Two are better than one.”

And in Amos chapter 3:

3 “How can two walk together except they be agreed?”

Luke recorded by The Holy Spirit in Acts chapter 2:

46: “They continued with one accord.”

And in Acts 4:24: Describes them lifting their voices with one accord.

James wrote by The Holy Spirit in James 1:6: Warns that the double-minded man is unstable in all his ways.

We need to understand that it is essential to walk in the power of “agreement” in the Kingdom of God.  This has been a neglected Truth.  Agreement is not merely unity or shared belief, but is Spiritual alignment, multiplied authority, amplified faith, and Heaven recognized on earth.

Agreement terrifies hell because it creates an unshakeable Spiritual force. However, the church has gradually forgotten this power due to:

Individualistic Christianity, passive prayer, and surface-level. The enemy distracted believers rather than destroying agreement.

The church has confused proximity with alignment. Being together is proximity, but agreement is power.

There is Spiritual error that places all responsibility on God rather than recognizing Divine partnership. Jesus placed responsibility on the believers’ agreement.

Offense, suspicion, and fear of vulnerability replaces unity and trust. Division stops agreement.

Agreement magnifies authority and transforms individual faith into corporate force. The enemy fiercely fights agreement because he fears aligned believers, united prayer, synchronized confession, and multiplied authority. The early church practiced agreement as a lifestyle, which led to miracles and revival.

Agreement can be restored by one believer aligning with God’s Word, repenting from Spiritual isolation, embracing humility, and choosing Truth over emotion and unity over preference.

It requires intention and identical conviction, not perfection or identical personalities. When two believers agree on God’s Word, will, and Christ’s authority, and their unity is non-negotiable, Heaven moves powerfully.

Offenses Will Come

Wednesday, January 21st, 2026

Don’t allow yourself to be offended by the words of others!

Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks.

Jesus expressed this Truth in Matthew chapter 12:

33 “Either make the tree good and its fruit good, or else make the tree bad and its fruit bad; for a tree is known by its fruit.

34 Brood of vipers! How can you, being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.

35 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good things, and an evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth evil things.

36 But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment.

37 For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.”

As you mature in Christ and are led by The Holy Spirit, there will be those who will speak words that are offensive toward you, often in a subtle fashion.  They may be envious or bitter.  Their words will reveal what is in their heart and we must not allow ourselves to be offended by their biting words.  Ultimately, they will be judged for those words of offense.

The enemy wants to weaken us through the offense words of others.  Our identity in Christ must remain strong when those attempts come toward us.  We must not allow words of others to define our actions, thoughts, or words in response.  We must protect our hearts!

Proverbs 18:19 NKJV

A brother offended is harder to win than a strong city, And contentions are like the bars of a castle.

Luke 17:1 NKJV

Then He said to the disciples, “It is impossible that no offenses should come, but woe to him through whom they do come!

Proverbs 4:23 NKJV

Keep your heart with all diligence, For out of it spring the issues of life.

2 Corinthians 3:14 NKJV

But their minds were blinded. For until this day the same veil remains unlifted in the reading of the Old Testament, because the veil is taken away in Christ.

Mark 11:25 NKJV

“And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses.

Galatians 5:6 NKJV

For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but faith working through love.

Romans 8:6 NKJV

For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

Matthew 24:10 NKJV

And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another.

In other Words, many will stop following Me and fall away, and they will betray one another and hate one another.

Offense is a dangerous spiritual strategy used by the enemy. It’s not just an emotion but a subtle trap designed to disconnect believers from Spiritual authority, discernment, and identity.

Key points about offense include:

It shifts focus from Christ to self, causing revelation to dim and faith to weaken.

It builds walls and isolates the heart, making it resistant to correction and Truth.

It turns the heart inward, focusing on pain instead of Christ.  It alters the believer’s internal environment, much like humidity changes a room’s atmosphere.

The enemy uses offense to drain spiritual strength when temptation fails. Temptation attacks conduct, but offense attacks character and perception.

Offense becomes spiritually lethal due to the interpretations that follow the initial hurt, which are often fueled by emotion rather than Truth. These interpretations can plant lies about oneself, others, and even God.

It causes spiritual dryness, leading to a loss of clarity, hunger for the Word, and focus.

The secret reason Satan wants you offended is to pull you out of your position in Christ, shifting you from identity to insecurity and from Spiritual authority to emotional reaction.

Offense blocks the flow of faith and disrupts spiritual alignment.  It is spiritual weight and resistance that slows progress, burdens the heart, and obscures discernment.

Offense contaminates the heart’s “wellspring of Life” and allows the enemy to gain a foothold.

Ultimately, offense prepares believers to accept lies about God, leading to incorrect perceptions and living.

Offense loses its power when recognized as an attack on one’s identity in Christ.  Forgiveness and forbearance are emphasized as crucial for protecting the heart’s atmosphere and maintaining spiritual openness, ultimately removing the enemy’s foothold.

Overcoming offense is about protecting identity and keeping the heart aligned with Christ for a free flow of The Spirit, sharp discernment, and effective prayers.

Dealing With Curses

Tuesday, January 20th, 2026

The greatest miracle is the believer discovering what GOD made him in Christ!

Knowledge is the believer’s shield.

Identity is the believer’s foundation.

Revelation is the believer’s weapon.

Hebrews 2:14: Declares that “through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is the devil”.  “Destroy” means to render powerless, not merely weaken.

Galatians 3:13: States, “Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law” “Redeemed” as being bought out, removed from jurisdiction, and transferred into a new lineage.

Proverbs 18:21: Declares, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue” To emphasize the power of confession.

2 Corinthians 5:17: States, “New means, new, new lineage, new nature, new inheritance, new authority, new spiritual DNA” in the context of being a new creation in Christ.

Romans 12:2: Commands, “Be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind”  linking transformation to a renewal of identity.

2 Corinthians 5:21: Declares, “We are made the righteousness of God in Him”, highlighting that righteousness is an identity, not an attainment.

Hosea 4:6: Declares, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge”, stressing the importance of being informed about righteousness.

1 Corinthians 15:57: Declares, “But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ”, establishing victory as a position, not an aspiration.

Colossians 2:15: Reveals that Christ “spoiled principalities and powers”, meaning he stripped, disarmed, exposed, and defeated them.

Genesis 1:28: Reveals humanity’s original assignment to “Have dominion”, linking redemption to the restoration of this dominion.

Generational curses persist in the lives of Christians not due to the power of darkness, but due to a lack of understanding of what Christ has already accomplished.

Understanding is Key: Generational curses are not broken by effort, rituals, or striving, but by revelation. Many Christians remain in these cycles because they lack this revelation, praying for freedom they already possess through Christ.

Christ’s Finished Work: Christ has already destroyed the power of death and the devil. Believers are redeemed from the curse of the law, meaning they have been bought out, removed from jurisdiction, and transferred into a new lineage.

The Role of Agreement and Identity: Generational curses are no longer inherited through bloodlines, but through belief and agreement. What a believer agrees with, confesses, and expects, they empower. The enemy’s greatest tool is suggestion, whispering lies that become self-fulfilling prophecies.

New Creation in Christ: Christians are new creations in Christ, possessing a new lineage, nature, inheritance, and spiritual DNA. Their spiritual origin is from Christ, not their earthly bloodline.

Behavior vs. Identity: To break generational curses, believers must address the root cause (identity) rather than just the symptoms (behaviors). Transformation comes through the renewing of the mind to align with Truth and Christ.

The Power of Confession: Confession, or speaking Truth with conviction, is essential. When believers declare their identity in Christ, they silence the voice of history and dismantle the enemy’s claims.

Righteousness and Dominion: Believers are made the righteousness of God in Christ, which is an identity, not an attainment. Righteousness is the foundation of authority, enabling believers to stand against every pattern that doesn’t match Christ’s nature. This restored dominion from Genesis 1:28 allows believers to enforce what Christ has already accomplished.

Breaking Agreement with the Past: The key is to step into agreement with Christ and out of agreement with history. By replacing past expectations with scripture-shaped ones, believers become untouchable by previous family struggles.

The Enemy’s Modern Strategy: The enemy cannot rebind believers legally but attempts to mislead them mentally and provoke them emotionally, tempting them to speak words that resurrect what should remain dead.

Don’t Backslide!

Monday, January 19th, 2026

Wisdom warns us not to be backsliders… Jesus did too!

Wisdom record by The Holy Spirit in Proverbs chapter 14:

14 The backslider in heart will be filled with his own ways, But a good man will be satisfied from Above.

How many messages have you heard in recent years warning us about backsliding?  It’s been decades since I heard such a message, yet it needs to be addressed in this hour.  Many believers who were once fervent for THE LORD are now simply warming the pews as a custom.  They are counted among the lukewarm mentioned by Jesus in Revelation chapter 3:

16 So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My Mouth.

17 Because you say, ‘I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing’-and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked-

One of the prophetic voices declared, “The year 2026 will be the year of sifting and shifting!”

It is written by The Holy Spirit in Hebrews chapter 2:

1 This is why it is so crucial that we be all the more engaged and attentive to the Truths that we have heard so that we do not drift off course.

Backsliding begins when Truth slips away and you drift off course and step out of the light.

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Galatians chapter 5:

1 At last we have freedom, for Christ has set us free! We must always cherish this Truth and firmly refuse to go back into the bondage of our past.

And in Romans chapter 12:

2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect Will of God.

It the mind is not renewed, the life cannot remain transformed and stay in fellowship.  The believer who neglects renewing of the mind will always drift back toward old patterns of thinking.

Backsliding is not about losing salvation; it is about losing fellowship.

Jesus spoke concerning the prodigal son in Luke 15:

17 “But when he came to himself, he said, ‘How many of My Father’s hired servants have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger!

The son had lost consciousness of his fellowship with His Father but finally came to the realization of who he was.  That realization is what caused him to return to His Father’s House.

There is a common misperception that backsliding begins with a dramatic fall or major sin. Instead, backsliding starts quietly with a subtle shift in a believer’s consciousness and identity. The enemy’s primary strategy is not temptation, but disorientation, aiming to dim one’s awareness of righteousness and diminish confidence.

Backsliding as Erosion, not Rebellion: It’s described as an erosion of confidence, conviction, fellowship, and awareness, which is subtle and internal.

The Battleground of Identity: The core issue is losing sight of who one is in Christ. When a believer forgets their identity, they become vulnerable to sin; when they remember, they are almost impossible to pull into sin.

Drifting from Truth: Backsliding is a gradual loss of grip on the Truth that once anchored a believer, a slow drift of the heart away from revelation and the reality of union with Christ.

Focus on the Root, Not the Symptom: Sin is a symptom, not the root cause of backsliding. The root is losing sight of one’s identity in Christ.

Reactivation of Old Thinking: Backsliding isn’t the resurrection of the old nature, but the reactivation of old thinking patterns that lead to old emotions and habits.

Relational Distance and Spiritual Amnesia: It’s characterized as a relational distance from God and Spiritual amnesia, a loss of consciousness of righteousness.

Restoration through Awareness and Remembering: The path to restoration begins with returning to consciousness and remembering one’s identity in Christ. This includes remembering righteousness, union with the Lord, acceptance, and the greater power within.

Agreement Determines Direction: Backsliding thrives when a believer agrees with weakness, guilt, or distance. Conversely, agreeing with Truth leads to restoration.

Danger of Spiritual Dullness: The danger of backsliding is not losing salvation, but becoming Spiritually dull in hearing, conviction, resistance, and discernment, which opens doors for the enemy.

Impact on Influence: Backsliding ultimately hinders God’s work through the believer by stealing confidence, clarity, and intimacy, thereby limiting their influence.

Wielding The Sword of THE SPIRIT

We must develop our use of the Sword of The Spirit to be effective!

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Ephesians chapter 6:

17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God;

And in Ephesians chapter 1:

17 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of Wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him,

Many Christians are unprepared for spiritual battles because they don’t know how to effectively use the Word, which is meant to be a weapon.  The Word of God is not just instruction or Truth, but weaponry, artillery, and power.

Are you praying the problem or declaring the promise?

James 4:7 NKJV

Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.

Resist does not mean fight. Resist means withstand. Oppose. Stand firm with authority.  This authority is always enforced by words and is vocal, expressed, and declared.

Lack of understanding its function as a weapon: The Bible is seen as something to admire or quote, rather than something to actively wield in Spiritual warfare. The Word in your lips becomes a “living thing”.

Silence and disarmed posture: Many believers remain silent, speaking their feelings and circumstances more than their faith or identity. This silence grants the enemy space to operate.

Misconceptions about spiritual warfare: Christians often think resisting the devil is about emotion, intensity, or wrestling with the enemy, instead of vocal resistance and declaring authority. Authority is always enforced by words.

Treating the Word as something to admire, not execute: The Word is often treated as something for quiet meditation rather than decisive confrontation. Jesus Himself defeated the devil with spoken Scripture, not thoughts or emotions.

Lack of confidence and perceived unworthiness: Many Christians feel unworthy, unqualified, or unsure about wielding the Word, believing it’s for “Spiritual giants”. However, authority comes from identity in Christ, not maturity.

Speaking Scripture as information, not revelation: When the Word is spoken without personal revelation and understanding, it strikes but doesn’t penetrate deeply enough to shift the outcome of a spiritual battle. Revelation sharpens the sword.

Reactive instead of proactive use: Christians often wait until a crisis to declare the Word, rather than proactively building Spiritual momentum and preparing beforehand. The Word should be continual nourishment and declaration.

Praying the problem instead of declaring the promise: Many spend prayer time describing concerns to God rather than enforcing the solutions God has already provided. True spiritual warfare involves telling the problem about God.

Lack of precision and consistency: The Word needs to be wielded strategically, with specific Scriptures addressing specific attacks. Continuous declaration and consistent use are crucial for maintaining Spiritual momentum and keeping the sword sharp.

Jesus’s Word was effective because He spoke with full revelation of His identity, His authority, and His Father’s will. He didn’t speak to see if something would happen, but because he knew something must happen when the Word is declared from a place of identity.

Jesus didn’t cast out devils with imagination or internal belief; “He spoke. He declared. He commanded. He said, ‘It is written.'”. The enemy bowed to the Word spoken with conviction.

Precision in Confrontation: In the wilderness, Jesus confronted every temptation with a targeted Word, quoting specific Scripture rather than random ones. When the enemy attacked identity, provision, or purpose, Jesus struck back with corresponding scripture.

Embodiment of the Word: Jesus spoke as someone Who embodied the Scripture, not just recited It. This means His Words were backed by a deep understanding and living out of the Truth.

Authority and Certainty: Jesus did not pray lengthy prayers over demons or storms; “He spoke. He commanded. He declared, ‘Peace, be still. Come out of him. Be healed. Rise up and walk.'”. These were swings of the Sword spoken with authority, not uncertainty.

Proactive confession builds spiritual momentum.  It conditions your spirit to respond, not react.  It trains your heart to believe before the pressure comes.  It builds an atmosphere where the enemy cannot easily plant seeds of fear or confusion.

The spoken Word profoundly affects the spiritual realm and spiritual battles in several ways:

Intimidates the Enemy: Hell trembles when Scripture becomes a sword in the mouth of a believer The enemy is not intimidated by a believer who owns a Bible, but by one who knows how to wield it.

Releases Power and Enforces Authority: When you speak the Word, you are not just reciting information; you are “releasing power,” “enforcing legal authority,” “issuing Spiritual commands,” and “engaging in Divine warfare”.

Activates the Word: The Word becomes “quick” (alive) and “active” when It is spoken (5:50, 5:57). The sword of the Spirit is not sharp until it is declared.

Silence grants the enemy space to operate, but “confession removes it”.

Divine Alignment: The moment you declare Scripture, “Heaven aligns, angels respond, the Spirit moves, and the enemy is confronted with Divine authority”.

Shapes Environments and Establishes Climates: Continual Scripture shapes Spiritual environments and establishes Spiritual climates.

Disables the Enemy: A strategic strike with the spoken Word “disables the enemy entirely“.
