The ekklesia is responsible to intervene in the spiritual realm and to overcome all attempts by the adversary to subvert the physical realm!

Jesus spoke in Matthew chapter 28:

18  And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth (nothing is left out).

And in John chapter 20:

21 So Jesus said to them again, “Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.“

Jesus has all authority, and He has granted us all authority as well.  As we are sent, we are to take up the armor of GOD. If we didn’t need spiritual weaponry, then The Holy Spirit would not have alerted us to the need.  We are to triumph in Christ in every area, both the seen and the unseen.  We are to be triumphant in Christ in all areas.

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in 2^nd Corinthians chapter 2:

14 Now thanks be to God Who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place.

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Ephesians chapter 6:

10 Now my beloved ones, I have saved these most important Truths for last: Be supernaturally infused with strength through your life-union with the Lord Jesus. Stand victorious with the force of His explosive power flowing in and through you. 11 Put on God’s complete set of armor provided for us, so that you will be protected as you fight against the evil strategies of the accuser!

12 Your hand-to-hand combat is not with human beings, but with the highest principalities and authorities operating in rebellion under the heavenly realms. For they are a powerful class of demon-gods and evil spirits that hold this dark world in bondage.

13 Because of this, you must wear all the armor that God provides so you’re protected as you confront the slanderer, for you are destined for all things and will rise victorious.

14 Put on Truth as a belt to strengthen you to stand in triumph. Put on Holiness as the protective armor that covers your heart.

15 Stand on your feet alert, then you’ll always be ready to share the blessings of peace.

16 In every battle, take faith as your wrap-around shield, for it is able to extinguish the blazing arrows coming at you from the evil one!

17-18 Embrace the power of salvation’s full deliverance, like a helmet to protect your thoughts from lies. And take the mighty razor-sharp Spirit-sword of the spoken Word of God. Pray passionately in the Spirit, as you constantly intercede with every form of prayer at all times. Pray the blessings of God upon all his believers.

We are to walk in Truth, Holiness, peace, faith, a renewed mind, hearing GOD’S Voice, and we are to pray, especially in The Holy Spirit.  As we triumph in the spiritual realm, the physical realm will submit and respond accordingly.  The physical realm does not act independently of the spiritual realm.  We must keep that in mind at all times and not be misdirected by looking at the physical world only.

Christ has made us kings and priests!

The Beloved Disciple recorded what he heard and saw by The Holy Spirit in Revelation chapter 1:

4 John, to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace to you and peace from Him Who is and Who was and Who is to come, and from the seven Spirits Who are before His throne,

5 and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler over the kings of the earth. To Him Who Loved us and washed us from our sins in His Own Blood,

6 and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.

Are you walking in this revelation?  Have you given up walking independent of the ministry and Intent of The Holy Spirit?

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Colossians chapter 1:

18 Jesus Christ He is the Head of His Body, which is the ekklēsia. And since He is the Beginning and the Firstborn Heir in resurrection, He is the most exalted One, holding first place in everything.

19 For God is satisfied to have all His Fullness dwelling in Christ.

20 And by the Blood of His cross, everything in Heaven and earth is brought back to Himself—back to its original intent, restored to innocence again!

As explained yesterday, dominion has been returned to its original intent again.

21-22 Even though you were once distant from Him, living in the shadows of your evil thoughts and actions, He reconnected you back to Himself. He released His supernatural peace to you through the sacrifice of His Own Body as the sin-payment on your behalf so that you would dwell in His Presence. And now there is nothing between you and Father God, for He sees you as Holy, flawless, and restored,

The importance of Holy Communion cannot be overemphasized!  Jesus is the King of kings and Lord of lords so let us acknowledge this Truth when we partake of Holy Communion.

It is written by THE SPIRIT in Psalm chapter 89:

26 He shall cry to Me, ‘You are My Father, My God, and the rock of my salvation.’ 27 Also I will make Him My firstborn, The highest of the kings of the earth.

28 My mercy I will keep for Him forever, And My covenant shall stand firm with Him.

29 His seed also I will make to endure forever, And His Throne as the days of heaven.

We are to take our position as kings on earth who report to the King of kings for we serve Him in all areas of our life.  Those who dwell in darkness are fighting a losing battle.  In Psalm chapter 2, we are given the details of their vanity:

It is recorded by THE SPIRIT in Psalm chapter 2:

1 Why do the nations rage, And the people plot a vain thing?

2 The kings of the earth set themselves, And the rulers take counsel together, Against the LORD and against His Anointed, saying,

3 “Let us break Their bonds in pieces And cast away Their cords from us.”

4 GOD Who sits in the heavens shall laugh; The Lord shall hold them in derision.

5 Then He shall speak to them in His wrath, And distress them in His deep displeasure:

6 “Yet I have set My King On My holy hill of Zion.”

Jesus speaks:

7 “I will declare the decree: The LORD has said to Me, ‘You are My Son, Today I have begotten You.

8 Ask of Me, and I will give You The nations for Your inheritance, And the ends of the earth for Your possession.

9 You shall break them with a rod of iron; You shall dash them to pieces like a potter’s vessel.'”

You and I are the vessels of honor as kings and priests, and we are given the responsibility to take dominion against those who dwell in darkness.  As our light shines brighter, their lies will be exposed and judged.  There will be no place to hide!

When you are in charge of something or rule it, you have dominion over it!

Dominion over the earth has passed through multiple times throughout history.  Originally, GOD gave man dominion over the earth to Adam.

Moses recorded by THE SPIRIT in Genesis chapter 1:

26 Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion (and reign) over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”

27 So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.

28 Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion (and reign) over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”

The FATHER, Son, and Holy Spirit all agreed to give man dominion over the earth prior to creating them.  Effectively, GOD transferred legal title of the earth to Adam.  Adam was for all intents and purposes, the reigning king over the earth.  He was given the right to rule over all in his dominion… he was in charge.  There was one exception.

Chapter 2:

15 Then the LORD God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to tend and keep it.

16 And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, “Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat;

17 but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.”

What was the purpose of this restriction?  Adam’s kingdom was subservient to FATHER’S dominion over all creation.  Adam could never be at the same level and status as The Creator of all things.  The lesser serves the Greater!

When Adam submitted to the serpent and ate the fruit of the forbidden tree, Adam gave title to the dominion over to the adversary.  Now, the adversary had the limited right to exercise dominion on the earth.  This dominion did not negate GOD’s Word spoken into the earth.  The adversary could not override GOD’S Word and the Divine Intent behind it.  Because GOD is perfectly righteous, HE would have to legally transfer the title again at later date.  HE would use satan’s own deceiving intent against him.

Our Heavenly Father gave plenty of notice to redeem creation from the adversary.  Prophecies were spoken on the earth, inspired by The Holy Spirit, to prepare man for the return of dominion.  As is stated in Isaiah chapter 53, Jesus would bare the sins of all mankind in the ultimate payment for the return of dominion… His innocent Blood.

It is written by THE SPIRIT in Isaiah chapter 53:

6 All we like sheep have gone astray; We have turned, every one, to his own way; And the LORD has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.

This is why we musts never forget the importance of Christ’s Blood!

Jesus expressed the fulfillment of His mission to return dominion from the adversary in John chapter 19:

28 Jesus knew that His mission was accomplished, and to fulfill the Scripture, Jesus said: “I am thirsty.”

29 A jar of sour wine was sitting nearby, so they soaked a sponge with it and put it on the stalk of hyssop and raised it to His Lips.

30 When He had sipped the sour wine, He said, “It is finished, my bride!” Then he bowed his head and surrendered His Spirit to God.

Jesus completed the legal requirement to transfer dominion away from the adversary.  He presented His Blood to FATHER and confirmed the Covenant.

The Beloved Disciple recorded what he heard and saw by The Holy Spirit in Revelation chapter 1:

Dominion was transferred to Jesus, the last Adam, in a perfect legal transaction.  Now He has made us kings and priests to have dominion on the earth as we are led by The Holy Spirit.  The adversary no longer has any dominion over us so don’t let him deceive you into believing otherwise.

As we walk in Holiness, we will be the salt of the earth, the only salt!

One purpose of salt is to give flavor to that which would otherwise lack flavor.

It is written by THE SPIRIT in Job chapter 6:

6 Can flavorless food be eaten without salt? Or is there any taste in the white of an egg?

We are here to give the earth flavor in the sight of GOD.  Without our presence in this world, there would no longer be a reason for GOD to deal with it in grace and mercy.  Effectively, our presence restrains judgment from the world.  We are the only thing that keeps the final judgment and loss of GOD on a Christ-rejecting world.  As long as we are on the earth, our responsibility is to live in such a way that we commend this earth to GOD.

Moses recorded by THE SPIRIT in Genesis chapter 18:

16 Then the men rose from there and looked toward Sodom, and Abraham went with them to send them on the way.

17 And the LORD said, “Shall I hide from Abraham what I am doing,

18 since Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him?

19 For I have known him, in order that he may command his children and his household after him, that they keep the way of the LORD, to do righteousness and justice, that the LORD may bring to Abraham what He has spoken to him.”

20 And the LORD said, “Because the outcry against Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grave,

21 I will go down now and see whether they have done altogether according to the outcry against it that has come to Me; and if not, I will know.”

22 Then the men turned away from there and went toward Sodom, but Abraham still stood before the LORD.

23 And Abraham came near and said, “Would You also destroy the righteous with the wicked?

GOD would not destroy those two cities if ten righteous people were found in them.  However, once Lot and his family were removed:

Chapter 19:

13 For we (the angels sent by GOD) will destroy this place, because the outcry against them has grown great before the Face of the LORD, and the LORD has sent us to destroy it.”

24 Then the LORD rained brimstone and fire on Sodom and Gomorrah, from the LORD out of the heavens.

25 So He overthrew those cities, all the plain, all the inhabitants of the cities, and what grew on the ground.

27 And Abraham went early in the morning to the place where he had stood before the LORD.

28 Then he looked toward Sodom and Gomorrah, and toward all the land of the plain; and he saw, and behold, the smoke of the land which went up like the smoke of a furnace.

Ten righteous men could not be found in Sodom and Gomorrah.  Though Lot was a believer, it is evident that he did nothing to turn men from their wicked ways. 

Only four souls escaped Sodom and Gomorrah, ultimately becoming three as Lot’s wife looked back behind him, and she became a pillar of salt.  She had become unrighteous and longed to be in Sodom. 

Lot failed to minister righteousness to his wife.  Lot was not living in the light of the revelation that he gained from walking with Abraham.  He did nothing on behalf of the Kingdom.  Not even his servants or his herdsmen were spared.  His silence cost them their lives.

Our presence should make a difference.

As Jesus said in Matthew chapter 5:

13 “You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men.

Have you lost your flavor?

Not to use your talent is to lose it!

Everyone has a talent to serve on behalf of the Kingdom.  Jesus will judge us if we are in the category of “lazy and unprofitable servant”.  Let not yourself be placed in that category.

James wrote by The Holy Spirit in James chapter 4:

17 Therefore, to him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin.

We often talk about sins of commission, but the sins of omission are just as real.  If you know of an opportunity to do the right thing today, yet you refrain from doing it, you’re guilty of sin.

There are three classes of people who will suffer rejection:

The foolish virgins who took no oil.

The one talent servant who did nothing with his talent.

The goat nations who did not help the brothers of Jesus.

They were all totally and finally rejected by GOD.  What did they all have in common to be rejected?  Simply, they did nothing!

James also wrote by The Holy Spirit in James chapter 1:

22 But be doers of the Word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.

23 For if anyone is a hearer of the Word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror;

24 for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was.

25 But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does.

If you are a doer of the Word, then you are not lazy and you will be rewarded.  When people are bored, they don’t have this revelation.  There are needs all around us yet if we focus on “self”, we will become a hearer only.  Don’t procrastinate but instead, seek out the opportunity that awaits your talent.  You may be broke, but you have the resource of time to invest.

We must not forget our Divine origin!

27 True spirituality that is pure in the Eyes of Our Father God is to make a difference in the lives of the orphans, and widows in their troubles, and to refuse to be corrupted by the world’s values.

FATHER has a special place for orphans and widows for they have suffered a loss of someone who was primary in their life.  We are to express Love and compassion to them and minister accordingly.  This in itself is a talent.  No one likes to be lonely.  Show them that they are special by taking time out of your day to reach out.  Be a living testimony of the Love of GOD in those with whom you have contact.

Our talents are meant to serve others in some capacity.  If we fail to see this mandate, we are deceived… self-deception.  If you only use your talents to exalt yourself, you will ultimately be judged.

Jesus spoke in Matthew chapter 23:

11 But he who is greatest among you shall be your servant.

12 And whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.

This is a vital Truth to our future, especially at the Judgement Seat of Christ.

13 “But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you shut up the kingdom of heaven against men; for you neither go in yourselves, nor do you allow those who are entering to go in.

14 Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you devour widows’ houses, and for a pretense make long prayers. Therefore you will receive greater condemnation.

Jesus implies that the Pharisees would enter the houses of widows, pray lengthy prayers, and then intimidate the widows and ask for offerings.  Rather than serving the widow, they devoured what little the widow had.

When given the opportunity, we are to serve the widows, the orphans, and the poor.  At Servias, we purpose to focus on these groups… our past distributions prove it, and FATHER responds to this focus by blessing us.  Obedience to The Word produces blessings!
