Holy Communion: Part 5

Let us fully understand the Love behind the Holy Communion!

Many Christians casually take Holy Communion without understanding the revelation of Love found in this Sacred participation.  We are to reflect on the Divine significance of this Sacrifice given for us.

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Romans chapter 8:

32 For God has proved His Love by giving us His greatest Treasure, the gift of His Son. And since God freely offered Him up as the Sacrifice for us all, He certainly won’t withhold from us anything else He has to give.

Holy Communion is THE solemn reminder of the brevity of His Sacrifice.  This Sacrifice opened the door to the Treasures of Heaven known as blessings provided for us as we walk in Holiness and faith.  If FATHER Loves each of us enough to give us HIS greatest Treasure, why would HE not provide other lesser treasures from Heaven?

It is written by THE SPIRIT in Malachi chapter 3:

10 Bring the full tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in My House. And thereby put Me to the test, says the LORD of hosts, if I will not open the windows of Heaven for you and pour down for you a blessing until there is no more need.

11 I will rebuke the devourer for you, so that it will not destroy the fruits of your soil, and your vine in the field shall not fail to bear, says the LORD of hosts.

12 Then all nations will call you blessed, for you will be a land of delight, says the LORD of hosts.

Am I saying that the tithe is associated with Holy Communion?  Abram received that revelation when he gave a tithe to Melchizedek after their Holy Communion.

Moses recorded by THE SPIRIT in Genesis chapter 14:

18 And Melchizedek king of Salem brought out bread and wine. (He was Priest of God Most High.)

19 And He blessed him and said, “Blessed be Abram by God Most High, Possessor of Heaven and earth;

20 and blessed be God Most High, Who has delivered your enemies into your hand!” And Abram gave Him a tenth (tithe) of everything.

Abram connected the tithe as a form of worship and sacrifice to Holy Communion.  This occurred centuries before the Law was given to Moses.  This act prepared Abram to become Abraham.

FATHER sacrificed Jesus, HIS only begotten Son, for our benefit.  Abraham was intending to sacrifice his son as well.

Moses recorded as well by THE SPIRIT in Genesis chapter 22:

1 After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, “Abraham!” And he said, “Here I am.”

2 He said, “Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you.”

3 So Abraham rose early in the morning, saddled his donkey, and took two of his young men with him, and his son Isaac. And he cut the wood for the burnt offering and arose and went to the place of which God had told him.

4 On the third day Abraham lifted up his eyes and saw the place from afar.

5 Then Abraham said to his young men, “Stay here with the donkey; I and the boy will go over there and worship and come again to you.”

6 And Abraham took the wood of the burnt offering and laid it on Isaac his son. And he took in his hand the fire and the knife. So they went both of them together. 7 And Isaac said to his father Abraham, “My father!” And he said, “Here I am, my son.” He said, “Behold, the fire and the wood, but where is the lamb for a burnt offering?”

8 Abraham said, “God will provide for Himself the lamb for a burnt offering, my son.” So they went both of them together.

9 When they came to the place of which God had told him, Abraham built the altar there and laid the wood in order and bound Isaac his son and laid him on the altar, on top of the wood.

10 Then Abraham reached out his hand and took the knife to slaughter his son.

11 But the angel of the LORD called to him from Heaven and said, “Abraham, Abraham!” And he said, “Here I am.”

12 He said, “Do not lay your hand on the boy or do anything to him, for now I know that you fear God, seeing you have not withheld your son, your only son, from Me.”

Worshipping THE LORD involves sacrifice.  In this case, Abraham was going to sacrifice to GOD by giving his only son.  Abraham proved himself in worshipping THE LORD by giving his greatest treasure… Isaac.  Abraham walked in the fear of THE LORD.

With this understanding, we are to treat the partaking of Holy Communion and reflect on the Truth that the bread and the wine represent FATHER’S greatest Treasure.  Not only that but also when we provide a tangible sacrifice of the tithe, we open ourselves up to blessings which will meet all our needs.

Our willingness to give is actually meant to test our priorities: service to others or focus on one’s own needs and desires.  As for my family, we tithe every month, and FATHER has proven HIS willingness to bless our family.  I practice what I teach!

Holy Communion: Part 4

Let us fully understand the Sacredness of Holy Communion!

Many Christians might have an assumption that the Sacredness, Holiness, and access to GOD was more intense in the Old Testament, while the New Testament is more relaxed in our access to HIM through Holy Communion.  Wrong!

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Hebrews chapter 10:

19 Therefore, brothers, since we have confidence to enter the Holy places by the Blood of Jesus,

20 by the new and living way that he opened for us through the curtain, that is, through His Flesh,

21 and since we have a great Priest over the House of God,

22 let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, with our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.

23 Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.

24 And let us consider how to stir up one another to Love and good works,

25 not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.

26 For if we go on sinning deliberately after receiving the knowledge of the Truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins,

27 but a fearful expectation of judgment, and a fury of fire that will consume the adversaries.

28 Anyone who has set aside the law of Moses dies without mercy on the evidence of two or three witnesses.

29 How much worse punishment, do you think, will be deserved by the one who has trampled underfoot the Son of God, and has profaned the Blood of the Covenant by which he was sanctified, and has outraged the Spirit of grace?

30 For we know Him who said, “Vengeance is mine; I will repay.” And again, “The Lord will judge his people.”

31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the Living God.

We are warned against taking Holy Communion unworthily.  The Blood of Jesus Christ is Sacred, and we must not treat His Blood in a casual, relaxed fashion.

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in 1st Corinthians chapter 11:

27 Whoever, therefore, eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty concerning the Body and Blood of the Lord.

28 Let a person examine himself, then, and so eat of the bread and drink of the cup. 29 For anyone who eats and drinks without discerning the body eats and drinks judgment on himself.

30 That is why many of you are weak and ill, and some have died.

31 But if we judged ourselves truly, we would not be judged.

The Holy Spirit is warning us about the Sacredness of Holy Communion and ignorance is no longer an excuse.  Taking Holy Communion properly is more intense than entering the Holy of Holies in the Old Testament.  We are not presenting blood of an animal sacrifice; we are presenting The Blood of Christ.

Moses recorded by THE SPIRIT in Leviticus chapter 16:

1 The LORD spoke to Moses after the death of the two sons of Aaron, when they drew near before the LORD and died,

2 and the LORD said to Moses, “Tell Aaron your brother not to come at any time into the Holy Place inside the veil, before the mercy seat that is on the ark, so that he may not die. For I will appear in the cloud over the mercy seat.

[3 But in this way Aaron shall come into the Holy Place: with a bull from the herd for a sin offering and a ram for a burnt offering.

4 He shall put on the Holy linen coat and shall have the linen undergarment on his body, and he shall tie the linen sash around his waist, and wear the linen turban; these are the Holy garments. He shall bathe his body in water and then put them on.

5 And he shall take from the congregation of the people of Israel two male goats for a sin offering, and one ram for a burnt offering.

6 “Aaron shall offer the bull as a sin offering for himself and shall make atonement for himself and for his house.

14 And he shall take some of the blood of the bull and sprinkle it with his finger on the front of the mercy seat on the east side, and in front of the mercy seat he shall sprinkle some of the blood with his finger seven times.

15 “Then he shall kill the goat of the sin offering that is for the people and bring its blood inside the veil and do with its blood as he did with the blood of the bull, sprinkling it over the mercy seat and in front of the mercy seat.

Aaron’s sons died because they did not treat the Holy of Holies as being Sacred.  FATHER demands that we treat Holy Communion with HIM as being totally Sacred and there is nothing relaxed or casual in this act.

Our only way to purity is through the Cross so we should embrace Holy Communion and its true meaning to atone and purify us from all our sins.  Partaking of Holy Communion requires unity of true believers, which can only come through each of us walking in Holiness.  When we properly take Holy Communion, we are all aligned together as the Body of Christ.

Let us fully understand the importance of Holy Communion!

Do not take Holy Communion lightly.

Paul provides additional revelation about Holy Communion as he wrote by The Holy Spirit in 1st Corinthians chapter 11:

23 For I received from the Lord that which I also delivered to you: that the Lord Jesus on the same night in which He was betrayed took bread;

24 and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, “Take, eat; this is My Body which is broken for you; do this in remembrance of Me.”

25 In the same manner He also took the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the New Covenant in My blood. This do, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me.”

26 For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death till He comes.

27 Therefore whoever eats this bread or drinks this cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of the Body and Blood of the Lord.

Once we take Holy Communion, we acknowledge and are answerable for the Truth that Jesus gave His body and died for our sins and shed His Blood for our redemption.

28 But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of the bread and drink of the cup.

29 For he who eats and drinks in an unworthy manner eats and drinks judgment to himself, not discerning (recognize rightly) the Lord’s Body.

30 For this reason many are weak and sick among you, and many sleep (died prematurely).

This verse shows us the seriousness, sanctity, and solemnity of The Lord’s Table of Holy Communion.  We can no longer claim ignorance!  If we partake wrongly, it can be a cause of sickness, weakness, and even premature death.

31 But if we judged ourselves rightly, we would not be judged.

32 But when we are judged, we are disciplined by the Lord so that we will not be condemned along with the world.

Holy Communion will either promote Salvation or judgment, depending on whether we take in rightly or wrongly.  We are to examine ourselves prior to the taking of Holy Communion.

If we partake in a worthy manner, THE LORD will not have to discipline us.  If we fail to judge ourselves, then HE will have to discipline us.  As for me, I prefer to judge myself.  Even if HE has to discipline us, it is better than to be judged with the world, the ultimate disaster that we need to avoid!

Taking of Holy Communion has three aspects.  First, proclamation.  Second, remembrance.  And third, anticipation.

When we take Holy Communion, we proclaim:

26 For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until He comes.

We are proclaiming not only to the world, but we are also proclaiming to the unseen world, both Angels, and demons!  We have put the demons on notice.  We are proclaiming to the whole universe; it is an act of proclamation.  We are proclaiming our faith in His atoning death on our behalf as well as our full redemption by His Blood.

The second aspect is remembrance, we look back to His death.  This is one of the most important Truths of The Gospel.  GOD ordained that we not merely hear this Truth, but we are to hear, proclaim, and partake of this Truth often.  This is done by Holy Communion.

A vital proclamation associated with Holy Communion is Baptism.  It is an act that associates us with Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection.  There is no instance where believers bypass baptism in the New Testament.  The Red Sea experience was a type and shadow of this proclamation.

The anointing of the sick with oil is another proclamation.  The oil typifies The Holy Spirit throughout Scripture.  When we are baptized in The Holy Spirit, we proclaim the death of the old man and the resurrection to a new man, filled with The Holy Spirit by a manifested sign.  When we anoint the sick with oil, we declare that The Holy Spirit will what the Scripture says He will do: He will quicken, He will give Life, and He will restore health to the body of the sick believer.

The Holy Communion is a declaration of the Love of GOD for us.  It reminds us that GOD Loves me, and HE has not forgotten me.

As Jesus spoke in John chapter 3:

16 “For God so Loved the world, that He gave His only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish, but have Eternal Life.

17 For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but so that the world might be saved through Him.

18 The one who believes in Him is not judged; the one who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.

19 And this is the judgment, that the Light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the Light; for their deeds were evil.

20 For everyone who does evil hates the Light, and does not come to the Light, so that his deeds will not be exposed.

21 But the one who practices the Truth comes to the Light, so that his deeds will be revealed as having been performed in God.”

Properly taking Holy Communion is one way we practice and declare the Truth.  By doing this, we come into the Light!

Let us fully understand the importance of Holy Communion!

Matthew recorded by The Holy Spirit in Matthew chapter 26:

26 Now while they were eating, Jesus took some bread, and after a blessing, He broke it and gave it to the disciples, and said, “Take, eat; this is My Body.”

27 And when He had taken a cup of wine and given thanks, He gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you;

28 for this is My Blood of the Covenant, which is being poured out for many for forgiveness of sins.

29 But I say to you, I will not drink of this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it with you, new, in My Father’s Kingdom.”

Jesus expressed this Truth, “In Me, you see the priesthood of Melchizedek reappearing.”  It was held in obeyance while the Law was the Covenant.  Now in the New Covenant, the priesthood of Melchizedek is being restored.

Melchizedek was both King and Priest.  Under the Law of Moses, the priest could not be king and priest.  Those offices were separate.  They could not be united because the priests had to come from the tribe of Levi and the kings from Judah.  The king could never be a priest, and the priest could never be a king.  This shows the inferiority of the Levitical priesthood to the Order of Melchizedek.

By His act at the Last Supper, Jesus revealed the reinstatement of the Order of Melchizedek.  Jesus revealed that He is both Priest and King of Righteousness.  By this act, He instituted the New Covenant in His Blood.  His Blood was to be poured out for the forgiveness of sins once and for all time.

Paul provides additional revelation about Holy Communion as he wrote by The Holy Spirit in 1st Corinthians chapter 10:

14 Therefore, my beloved, flee from idolatry.

15 I speak as to wise men; judge for yourselves what I say.

16 The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the Communion (koinonia) of the Blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the Communion of the Body of Christ?

17 For we, though many, are one bread and one body; for we all partake of that one bread.

The word koinonia means fellowship, association, community, communion, joint participation, a proof of fellowship.  We are affirming that we take Communion in common with all other believers in Christ.  We all identify with Christ when we partake of Holy Communion.

18 Observe Israel after the flesh: Are not those who eat of the sacrifices partakers of the altar?

The priests who sacrificed at the altar were the same who ate the sacrifice revealing a direct connection between eating the sacrifice and the altar on which it was offered as a sacrifice.

Paul further clarifies:

19 What am I saying then? That an idol is anything, or what is offered to idols is anything?

20 Rather, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice they sacrifice to demons and not to God, and I do not want you to have fellowship with demons.

21 You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons; you cannot partake of the Lord’s Table and of the table of demons.

22 Or do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? Are we stronger than He?

Do not have anything to do with idolatry or participate with anything to do with demons.  This issue is reflected in the account of Abram at the first Communion.

Moses recorded by The Holy Spirit in Genesis chapter 14:

17 And the king of Sodom went out to meet him at the Valley of Shaveh (that is, the King’s Valley), after his return from the defeat of Chedorlaomer and the kings who were with him.

18 Then Melchizedek king of Salem brought out bread and wine; he was the priest of God Most High.

Abram was confronted by two kings:  the king of Sodom and Melchizedek, the king of Salem.  Abram had to make a choice.  One king represented the temporary world leading toward sin and death, and the other represented Eternal Salvation.

The king of Sodom tried to tempt Abram:

21 Now the king of Sodom said to Abram, “Give me the persons, and take the goods for yourself.”

22 But Abram said to the king of Sodom, “I have raised my hand to the LORD, God Most High, the Possessor of heaven and earth,

In other Words, Abram said to the king of Sodom, “I raised my hand to YAHWEH, God Most High, and I pledged a solemn oath to the Possessor of Heaven and earth.”  Abram rejected the temptation and then said:

23 that I will take nothing, from a thread to a sandal strap, and that I will not take anything that is yours, lest you should say, ‘I have made Abram rich’-

24 except only what the young men have eaten, and the portion of the men who went with me: Aner, Eshcol, and Mamre; let them take their portion.”

The king of Sodom was using the same temptation that the devil used when he tried to tempt Jesus by offering the world if He would only bow down and submit to the ruler of darkness.

We must not allow anything unholy to be entertained in our walk with Christ.  We are not to compromise our participation in Holy Communion!

Holy Communion: Part 1

Tuesday, October 29th, 2024

Let us fully understand the importance of Holy Communion!

Moses recorded by THE SPIRIT in Genesis chapter14:

18 And Melchizedek the king of Salem brought out bread and wine; now he was a priest of God Most High.

19 And he blessed him and said, “Blessed be Abram of God Most High, Possessor of Heaven and earth;

20 And blessed be God Most High, Who has handed over your enemies to you.” And he gave him a tenth of everything.

This passage is the first mention of Holy Communion in Scripture.  As well, it was also the first mention of a priest.  The name Melchizedek = “My king of righteousness” who was king of Salem and priest of the Most High God to whom Abram paid tithe after the battle he fought to free Lot; ‘the order of Melchizedek’ the order of the priesthood to which Christ belongs.  Salem means peace and was later known to be Jerusalem.  The greeting Shalom is derived from Salem.

Melchizedek brought forth bread and wine which are the emblems of communion.  Both he and Abram took Holy Communion and Abram was declared “blessed”.  Afterward, Abram gave Melchizedek a tithe of all he had.  Abram acknowledged and confirmed that blessing by giving the tithe.  In this act, Abram acknowledged that GOD MOST HIGH is THE Possessor of Heaven and earth.  There was no question WHO owned the earth and all its contents at the highest level.

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Hebrews chapter 5:

1 For every high priest taken from among men is appointed on behalf of people in things pertaining to God, in order to offer both gifts and sacrifices for sins;

2 he can deal gently with the ignorant and misguided, since he himself also is clothed in weakness;

3 and because of it he is obligated to offer sacrifices for sins for himself, as well as for the people.

4 And no one takes the honor for himself, but receives it when he is called by God, just as Aaron also was.

5 So too Christ did not glorify Himself in becoming a high priest, but it was He who said to Him, “You are My Son, Today I have fathered You”;

6 just as He also says in another passage, “You are a priest forever According to the order of Melchizedek.”  (Psalm 110:4)

7 In the days of His humanity, He offered up both prayers and pleas with loud crying and tears to the One able to save Him from death, and He was heard because of His devout behavior.

8 Although He was a Son, He learned obedience from the things which He suffered.

9 And having been perfected, He became the Source of Eternal Salvation for all those who obey Him,

10 being designated by God as High Priest according to the order of Melchizedek.

Both Melchizedek and Jesus Christ have brought our attention to the importance of Holy Communion.  Abram was being prepared for his name to be changed to Abraham.  By giving the tithe, Abram established that he was a servant of THE MOST HIGH GOD by giving HIM the firstfruits of what he possessed.  He expressed his dependence on THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY, The Possessor of Heaven and earth.

Paul expressed this Truth in that Jesus Christ is the Source of Eternal Salvation to all those who obey Him.  A servant is one who obeys the commands of his master.  The tithe is the physical acknowledgment of Jesus Christ Who is the Source of our blessings and Eternal Salvation.  Once you have the revelation of the tithe, you will give with joy.  Holy Communion and the tithe both acknowledge the Lordship of Jesus Christ.

The Three Judgements

Monday, October 28th, 2024

The Nation of Israel has not been replaced!

Over the years, I have heard various ministries promote Replacement Theology, yet FATHER has made it abundantly clear that HE will ultimately restore the Nation of Israel.  FATHER will judge Israel separate from the church.  Israel is a special people set apart by GOD and though they have been disobedient and unfaithful many times in the past, GOD has never finally rejected them.  There has always been a remnant who have not forgotten who they are to worship.

Moses recorded by THE SPIRIT in Leviticus chapter 26:

40 ‘But if they confess their iniquity and the iniquity of their fathers, with their unfaithfulness in which they were unfaithful to Me, and that they also have walked contrary to Me,

41 and that I also have walked contrary to them and have brought them into the land of their enemies; if their uncircumcised hearts are humbled, and they accept their guilt-

42 then I will remember My covenant with Jacob, and My covenant with Isaac and My covenant with Abraham I will remember; I will remember the land. 43 The land also shall be left empty by them, and will enjoy its sabbaths while it lies desolate without them; they will accept their guilt, because they despised My judgments and because their soul abhorred My statutes.

44 Yet for all that, when they are in the land of their enemies, I will not cast them away, nor shall I abhor them, to utterly destroy them and break My covenant with them; for I am the LORD their God.

45 But for their sake I will remember the covenant of their ancestors, whom I brought out of the land of Egypt in the sight of the nations, that I might be their God: I am the LORD.'”

GOD made a covenant with Abraham which will not be forgotten.  HE set aside the land of Israel and specifically Jerusalem for the Israelites.  For thousands of years, this piece of land has been the one place in the world where contention exists.  Why?  The adversary understands its importance to the Abrahamic Covenant.

Ultimately, GOD will not reject HIS people nor break HIS Covenant with Abraham!  In the end, the NAME of THE LORD will be glorified.  HE is not slack in HIS promises.

GOD blesses the Jews direct, but HE blesses the Gentiles through the Jews.  Every spiritual blessing we have ever received, we owe to the Jewish people.  The New Testament was written by Jews, not Gentiles… think about it.

Jesus encountered the woman of Samaria in John chapter 4.

21 Jesus said to her, “Woman, believe Me, the hour is coming when you will neither on this mountain, nor in Jerusalem, worship the Father.

22 You worship what you do not know; we know what we worship, for salvation is of the Jews.

23 But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in Spirit and Truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him.

24 God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in Spirit and Truth.” 25 The woman said to Him, “I know that Messiah is coming” (who is called Christ). “When He comes, He will tell us all things.”

26 Jesus said to her, “I who speak to you am He.

Jesus did not substitute the Gentiles for the Jews in the Abrahamic Covenant.  FATHER’S Word will not fail.  GOD expects us to recognize this Truth and act accordingly.  There is much antisemitism today and that is an unwise position to take.

When it comes to judgment, GOD judges the Gentiles direct, HE judges the Jews through the Gentiles.  GOD has consistently used the Gentile nations to judge the Jews throughout the centuries for their disobedience and their unfaithfulness.

The next judgment is going to be the judgment of Israel in the great tribulation.

It is recorded by THE SPIRIT in Jeremiah chapter 30:

3 For behold, the days are coming,’ says the LORD, ‘that I will bring back from captivity My people Israel and Judah,’ says the LORD. ‘And I will cause them to return to the land that I gave to their fathers, and they shall possess it.'”

4 Now these are the Words that the LORD spoke concerning Israel and Judah.

5 “For thus says the LORD: ‘We have heard a Voice of trembling, Of fear, and not of peace.

6 Ask now, and see, Whether a man is ever in labor with child? So why do I see every man with his hands on his loins Like a woman in labor, And all faces turned pale?

7 Alas! For that day is great, So that none is like it; And it is the time of Jacob’s trouble, But he shall be saved out of it.

8 ‘For it shall come to pass in that day,’ Says the LORD of hosts, ‘That I will break his yoke from your neck, And will burst your bonds; Foreigners shall no more enslave them.

At the end of their tribulation, their judgment will have taken place.  Meanwhile, the ekklesia will be in Heaven, being prepared by removing spot and wrinkle to become the Bride of Christ.

As for the rest of the nations, it is written by THE SPIRIT in Joel chapter 3:

1 “For behold, in those days and at that time, When I bring back the captives of Judah and Jerusalem,

2 I will also gather all nations, And bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat; And I will enter into judgment with them there On account of My people, My heritage Israel, Whom they have scattered among the nations; They have also divided up My land.

GOD gave the land to Israel and no human authority or government has any right whatsoever, to divide up the land for themselves.  In 1922, Britain allocated 76% of GOD’S land to an Arab nation which is now called Jordan.

Use It Or Lose It!

Sunday, October 27th, 2024

Not to use your talent is to lose it!

Everyone has a talent to serve on behalf of the Kingdom.  Jesus will judge us if we are in the category of “lazy and unprofitable servant”.  Let not yourself be placed in that category.

James wrote by The Holy Spirit in James chapter 4:

17 Therefore, to him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin.

We often talk about sins of commission, but the sins of omission are just as real.  If you know of an opportunity to do the right thing today, yet you refrain from doing it, you’re guilty of sin.

There are three classes of people who will suffer rejection:

The foolish virgins who took no oil.

The one talent servant who did nothing with his talent.

The goat nations who did not help the brothers of Jesus.

They were all totally and finally rejected by GOD.  What did they all have in common to be rejected?  Simply, they did nothing!

James also wrote by The Holy Spirit in James chapter 1:

22 But be doers of the Word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.

23 For if anyone is a hearer of the Word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror;

24 for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was.

25 But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does.

If you are a doer of the Word, then you are not lazy and you will be rewarded.  When people are bored, they don’t have this revelation.  There are needs all around us yet if we focus on “self”, we will become a hearer only.  Don’t procrastinate but instead, seek out the opportunity that awaits your talent.  You may be broke, but you have the resource of time to invest.

We must not forget our Divine origin!

27 True spirituality that is pure in the Eyes of Our Father God is to make a difference in the lives of the orphans, and widows in their troubles, and to refuse to be corrupted by the world’s values.

FATHER has a special place for orphans and widows for they have suffered a loss of someone who was primary in their life.  We are to express Love and compassion to them and minister accordingly.  This in itself is a talent.  No one likes to be lonely.  Show them that they are special by taking time out of your day to reach out.  Be a living testimony of the Love of GOD in those with whom you have contact.

Our talents are meant to serve others in some capacity.  If we fail to see this mandate, we are deceived… self-deception.  If you only use your talents to exalt yourself, you will ultimately be judged.

Jesus spoke in Matthew chapter 23:

11 But he who is greatest among you shall be your servant.

12 And whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.

This is a vital Truth to our future, especially at the Judgement Seat of Christ.

13 “But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you shut up the kingdom of heaven against men; for you neither go in yourselves, nor do you allow those who are entering to go in.

14 Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you devour widows’ houses, and for a pretense make long prayers. Therefore you will receive greater condemnation.

Jesus implies that the Pharisees would enter the houses of widows, pray lengthy prayers, and then intimidate the widows and ask for offerings.  Rather than serving the widow, they devoured what little the widow had.

When given the opportunity, we are to serve the widows, the orphans, and the poor.  At Servias, we purpose to focus on these groups… our past distributions prove it, and FATHER responds to this focus by blessing us.  Obedience to The Word produces blessings!

Becoming A Servant

Saturday, October 26th, 2024

Our service in this life determines our position in the next life!

Do not be counted as a lazy and unprofitable servant.  Each of us is called to serve others in some capacity.  Our service is according to our individual ability and FATHER will not expect you to serve greater than you are able.

Moses wrote by The Holy Spirit in Deuteronomy chapter 8:

1 “Every commandment which I command you today you must be careful to observe, that you may live and multiply, and go in and possess the land of which the LORD swore to your fathers.

2 And you shall remember that the LORD your God led you all the way these forty years in the wilderness, to humble you and test you, to know what was in your heart, whether you would keep His commandments or not.

3 So He humbled you, allowed you to hunger, and fed you with manna which you did not know nor did your fathers know, that He might make you know that man shall not live by bread alone; but man lives by every Word that proceeds from the mouth of the LORD.

4 Your garments did not wear out on you, nor did your foot swell these forty years. 5 You should know in your heart that as a man chastens his son, so the LORD your God chastens you.

6 “Therefore you shall keep the commandments of the LORD your God, to walk in His ways and to fear Him.”

Moses was called to serve the entire nation of Israel but first he had to be humbled and have his ego removed.  Forty years is a long time.

When you give up your self-centeredness by serving others, you become qualified for greater service.  Along with this service, you will be blessed accordingly.

7 For the LORD your God is bringing you into a good land, a land of brooks of water, of fountains and springs, that flow out of valleys and hills;

8 a land of wheat and barley, of vines and fig trees and pomegranates, a land of olive oil and honey;

9 a land in which you will eat bread without scarcity, in which you will lack nothing; a land whose stones are iron and out of whose hills you can dig copper. 10 When you have eaten and are full, then you shall bless the LORD your God for the good land which He has given you.

Blessing begins with humbling ourselves.  The way up is the way down and becoming a servant is the key.

Jesus spoke in Matthew chapter 5:

5 God blesses those who are humble, for they will inherit the whole earth.

And King David recorded by THE SPIRIT in Psalm chapter 37:

11 But the humble of heart will inherit every promise and enjoy abundant peace.

And it is also written by THE SPIRIT in Psalm chapter 149:

4 For the LORD delights in his people; He crowns the humble with victory.

And Jesus spoke in Matthew chapter 23:

11 The greatest among you must be a servant.

12 But those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.

As referred to in a previous writing of the parable of the ten servants, those who actively served were rewarded by giving them authority over several cities.  The one who was judged only received one talent.  Had he done something with his talent, he too would have received a reward rather than judgment.  We must not allow ourselves to underestimate our value to the Kingdom, no matter how small.  At least do something with your talent by serving in some capacity, no matter how small.

Weeping And Gnashing Of Teeth

Friday, October 25th, 2024

There will be those who will experience weeping and gnashing of teeth!

Do not be an unprofitable servant.  If you do, you will experience weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Matthew wrote by The Holy Spirit in Matthew chapter 8:

5 Now when Jesus had entered Capernaum, a centurion came to Him, pleading with Him,

6 saying, “Lord, my servant is lying at home paralyzed, dreadfully tormented.”

7 And Jesus said to him, “I will come and heal him.”

8 The centurion answered and said, “Lord, I am not worthy that You should come under my roof. But only speak a Word, and my servant will be healed.

9 For I also am a man under authority, having soldiers under me. And I say to this one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and to another, ‘Come,’ and he comes; and to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.”

10 When Jesus heard it, He marveled, and said to those who followed, “Assuredly, I say to you, I have not found such great faith, not even in Israel! 11 And I say to you that many will come from east and west, and sit down with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the Kingdom of Heaven.

12 But the sons of the kingdom will be cast out into outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”

13 Then Jesus said to the centurion, “Go your way; and as you have believed, so let it be done for you.” And his servant was healed that same hour.

Those sons of the kingdom were Israelites, and they had the opportunity for salvation and never availed themselves to it.  Salvation was right in front of them, yet they rejected Christ.  They were banished into the darkness.

Jesus explained the parable of the wheat and the tares in Matthew chapter 13:

37 Jesus answered and said to them: “He who sows the good seed is the Son of Man.

38 The field is the world, the good seeds are the Sons of the Kingdom, but the tares are the sons of the wicked one.

39 The enemy who sowed them is the devil, the harvest is the end of the age, and the reapers are the angels.

40 Therefore as the tares are gathered and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of this age.

41 The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and those who practice lawlessness,

42 and will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

43 Then the righteous will shine forth as the sun in the Kingdom of their Father. He who has ears to hear, let him hear!

Once again, each of us has the opportunity to practice either righteousness or lawlessness.  It is our decision to where we end up.  An unprofitable servant is slothful, useless, and worthless to the Kingdom.  At a minimum, he could have invested something into The Kingdom, whether money or service.  He did neither.  His soulish and fleshly desires focused on “self” rather than on serving others.  The long-term result will be in the category of people who are weeping and gnashing of teeth in anguish.

People in this category will have been close to the real thing yet they chose to go their own way apart from THE LORD.  They had every opportunity to get into The Kingdom of GOD but refused.  There will be the tremendous bitterness of saying, “I could have been in this.  I had the opportunity all the time, but I never availed myself of it.  Now I’m cast out forever into outer darkness!”

Even if you were only given one talent, you should do and invest according to your own ability.  Doing nothing is no excuse.  At a minimum, you should invest and become a partner in a fruitful ministry.  At least then, you will be gaining interest on your investment which is the bare minimum acceptable to Jesus.
