Delay Reveals Trustworthiness

Tuesday, March 4th, 2025

Delay causes us to see what is in our hearts that needs to be dealt with!

The children of Israel feared men more than they feared GOD.  That was true of King Saul as well. Delay revealed this fear in both stories.

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in 1 Thessalonians chapter 5:

18 in everything give thanks; for this is the Will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

GOD is sovereign and, in the end, HIS Divine Intent will prevail over any issues you are dealing with.  Even though you are going through tests and trials, you should give thanks that HE will work things out on your behalf.

Anxiety is the cause of spiritual dementia.  You have forgotten all HIS benefits.  Anxiety causes you to forget GOD’S promises, to forget what HE has done, we don’t recall the testimonies of THE LORD.

Learning how to simplify in the delayed seasons is critical.  We need to simplify our lives so that we are not spread to thin so that we can keep anchored in what FATHER has said.

Complexity encourages confusion.  Simplification encourages clarity.

We should go back to confessing what THE LORD has said, declaring what HE has promised.  The battle over the hearts and mind is huge in seasons of delay.  Our progress is that we have remained faithful during the time of delay.  Our hope has not wavered, and we have not allowed ourselves to become depressed or filled with anxiety.

THE LORD is constantly measuring us in what we can handle or carry.  Our stewardship of what we are successful with now will determine what we will be given later.  With this understanding, let us look at the Parable of the Talents.

Jesus spoke in Matthew chapter 25:

14 “Again, Heaven’s Kingdom is like a Wealthy Man Who went on a long journey and summoned all His trusted servants and assigned His financial management over to them.

It is vital that we understand the servants were all believers.

15 Before he left on his journey, He entrusted a bag of five thousand gold coins to one of His servants, to another a bag of two thousand gold coins, and to the third a bag of one thousand gold coins, each according to his ability to manage.

FATHER will only give us what we can potentially manage at the time.

16 “The one entrusted with five thousand gold coins immediately went out and traded with the money, and he doubled his investment.

17 In the same way, the one who was entrusted with two thousand gold coins traded with the sum and likewise doubled his investment.

18 But the one who had been entrusted with one thousand gold coins dug a hole in the ground and buried his master’s money.

19 “After much time had passed, the master returned to settle accounts with his servants.

20 The one who was entrusted with five thousand gold coins came and brought ten thousand, saying, ‘See, I have doubled your money.’

21 “Commending his servant, The Master replied, ‘You have done well, and proven yourself to be My loyal and trustworthy servant. Because you have been a faithful steward to manage a small sum, now I will put you in charge of much, much more. You will experience the delight of your master, who will say to you, “Enter into the joy of Your Lord!”

With what we have been given, we are to prove ourselves loyal and trustworthy.  In return, we will be entrusted with greater responsibility and resources.

22 “Then the one who had been entrusted with two thousand gold coins came in and said, ‘See, My Master, I have doubled what You have entrusted to me.’

23 “Commending his servant, The Master replied, ‘You have done well, and proven yourself to be My loyal and trustworthy servant. Because you were faithful to manage a small sum, now I will put you in charge of much, much more. You will experience the delight of Your Master, Who will say to you, “Enter into the joy of Your Lord!” ’

We must not compare ourselves to others who may have greater resources.  We are to focus on our own calling.

24 “Then the one who had been entrusted with one thousand gold coins came to His Master and said, ‘Look, sir. I know that you are a hard man to please and you’re a shrewd and ruthless businessman who grows rich on the backs of others. 25 I was afraid of you, so I went and hid your money and buried it in the ground. But here it is—take it, it’s yours.’

26 “But His Master said to him, ‘You’re an untrustworthy and lazy servant! If you knew I was a shrewd and ruthless businessman who always makes a profit, why didn’t you deposit My money in the bank?

27 Then I would have received it all back with interest when I returned.

28 But because you were unfaithful, I will take the one thousand gold coins and give them to the one who has ten thousand.

THE LORD judged the man for being not only lazy, but also untrustworthy.  He did nothing for The Kingdom.

29 For the one who has will be given more, until he overflows with abundance. And the one with hardly anything, even what little he has will be taken from him.’ 30 “Then the master said to his other servants, ‘Now, throw that good-for-nothing servant far away from me into the outer darkness, where there will be great misery and anguish!’ ”

Those who are trustworthy will overflow with abundance.  Those who aren’t, will suffer severe judgment.  It’s your decision.

Delays Reveal The Heart

There is value in delay!

Yesterday’s writing revealed that Aaron’s sin was a result of the fear of men versus the Fear of GOD.

It is recorded by The Holy Spirit in 1st Samuel chapter 13:

5 Then the Philistines gathered together to fight with Israel, thirty thousand chariots and six thousand horsemen, and people as the sand which is on the seashore in multitude. And they came up and encamped in Michmash, to the east of Beth Aven.

6 When the men of Israel saw that they were in danger (for the people were distressed), then the people hid in caves, in thickets, in rocks, in holes, and in pits.

7 And some of the Hebrews crossed over the Jordan to the land of Gad and Gilead. As for Saul, he was still in Gilgal, and all the people followed him trembling.

Fear of men caused Saul to respond and take matters into his own hands.

8 Then he waited seven days, according to the time set by Samuel. But Samuel did not come to Gilgal; and the people were scattered from him.

9 So Saul said, “Bring a burnt offering and peace offerings here to me.” And he offered the burnt offering.

10 Now it happened, as soon as he had finished presenting the burnt offering, that Samuel came; and Saul went out to meet him, that he might greet him.

It was unlawful for the king to make a burnt offering.

11 And Samuel said, “What have you done?” Saul said, “When I saw that the people were scattered from me, and that you did not come within the days appointed, and that the Philistines gathered together at Michmash,

12 then I said, ‘The Philistines will now come down on me at Gilgal, and I have not made supplication to the LORD.’ Therefore I felt compelled, and offered a burnt offering.”

Saul made a soulish decision which cost him the kingdom.

13 And Samuel said to Saul, “You have done foolishly. You have not kept the commandment of the LORD your God, which He commanded you. For now the LORD would have established your kingdom over Israel forever.

14 But now your kingdom shall not continue. The LORD has sought for Himself a man after His own heart, and the LORD has commanded him to be commander over His people, because you have not kept what the LORD commanded you.”

Saul walked in the fear of men whereas David walked in the Fear of THE LORD, a man after GOD’S own Heart.

As we saw in the previous writings, Aaron was under pressure from the leaders wanting him to make a golden calf.  The fear of the opinion of people and here in this case where the people were scattering out of fear, Saul responded in the same manner.

Whenever THE LORD is exposing insecurities in us, HE is doing us a favor.  Insecurity is wrong security exposed.  It reveals our level of trust in THE LORD.

Saul told Samuel, “You did not come within the days appointed.”  Saul did not take ownership of his own actions; he blamed Samuel for his sin.  Illegal sacrifices are totally unacceptable to THE LORD!

By deflecting responsibility, we delay our own progress.  You cannot speed up GOD’S process, but you can slow it down.

In both situations (Aaron and Saul), we have delays caused by THE LORD.  Why would THE LORD cause a delay?  It is never punishment.  When a breakthrough has been delayed, something we prayed for, things that are in us that we didn’t know were in us, rise to the surface and they must be dealt with.

When HE exposes what is in my heart, I can confess because when I recognize what I didn’t see before and I recognize it and acknowledge it, I can repent and remove the hindrance in my walk.  The delay will result in strengthening the foundation which HE can build something more significant in my life.  He can entrust me with greater power and authority.

Delay will reveal our level of the Fear of THE LORD.

As Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in 1 Thessalonians chapter 5:

18 in everything give thanks; for this is the Will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

This includes delays!

Delay And Intercession

There is value in delay!

Old Testament examples are symbolic pictures, as examples providing us with a warning so that we can learn through what they experienced.

To continue from yesterday’s writings:

Moses recorded by The Holy Spirit in Exodus chapter 32:

7 And the LORD said to Moses, “Go, get down! For your people whom you brought out of the land of Egypt have corrupted themselves.

8 They have turned aside quickly out of the way which I commanded them. They have made themselves a molded calf, and worshiped it and sacrificed to it, and said, ‘This is your god, O Israel, that brought you out of the land of Egypt!'”

Notice that THE LORD referred to the children of Israel as Moses’ people.

9 And the LORD said to Moses, “I have seen this people, and indeed it is a stiff-necked people!

10 Now therefore, let Me alone, that My wrath may burn hot against them and I may consume them. And I will make of you a great nation.”

There are things set in motion that THE LORD wants to do when sin manifests.  Sin requires judgment. If there is no one to pray, it will happen.  However, you have the ability to stop what is set in motion by interceding.  Had Moses not interceded for the people, they would have been wiped out.

11 Then Moses pleaded with the LORD his God, and said: “LORD, why does Your wrath burn hot against Your people whom You have brought out of the land of Egypt with great power and with a Mighty Hand?

12 Why should the Egyptians speak, and say, ‘HE brought them out to harm them, to kill them in the mountains, and to consume them from the face of the earth’? Turn from Your fierce wrath, and relent from this harm to Your people.

13 Remember Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, Your servants, to whom You swore by Your Own Self, and said to them, ‘I will multiply your descendants as the stars of heaven; and all this land that I have spoken of I give to your descendants, and they shall inherit it forever.'”

14 So the LORD relented from the harm which He said He would do to His people.

FATHER will hear our prayers of intercession on behalf of those who are in desperate need of our prayers.

Peter wrote by The Holy Spirit in 2nd Peter chapter 3:

9 The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.

Don’t give up on those who are currently unrepentant.  FATHER is longsuffering.  What does FATHER want, someone to pray!

Jesus interceded for you and me when He spoke in Luke chapter 23:

33 And when they had come to the place called Calvary, there they crucified Him, and the criminals, one on the Right Hand and the other on the Left.

34 Then Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do.” And they divided His garments and cast lots.

And Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Romans chapter 8:

34 Who is he who condemns? It is Christ Who died, and furthermore is also risen, Who is even at the Right Hand of God, Who also makes intercession for us.

Additionally, it is written by The Holy Spirit in Hebrews chapter 7:

22 So all of this magnifies the Truth that we have a superior covenant with God than what they experienced, for Jesus Himself is its guarantor!

23 As additional proof, we know there were many priests under the old system, for they eventually died and their office had to be filled by another.

24 But Jesus permanently holds His priestly office, since He lives forever and will never have a successor!

25 So He is able to save fully from now throughout eternity, everyone who comes to God through Him, because He lives to pray continually for them.

26 He is the High Priest Who perfectly fits our need—Holy, without a trace of evil, without the ability to deceive, incapable of sin, and exalted beyond the heavens!

When delays occur, don’t be concerned.  Jesus Himself intercedes on our behalf as we are tested so that we will display our trustworthiness to ascend to a higher level of fruitfulness.  Intercession is vital!

Embrace Delay

There is value in delay!

Old Testament examples are symbolic pictures, as examples providing us with a warning so that we can learn through what they experienced.

Moses recorded by The Holy Spirit in Exodus chapter 32:

1 Now when the people saw that Moses delayed coming down from the mountain, the people gathered together to Aaron, and said to him, “Come, make us gods that shall go before us; for as for this Moses, the man who brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we do not know what has become of him.”

The people had just been delivered from the jaws of Egypt, they experienced the parting of the Red Sea, they had been given the Ten Commandments, they had been nourished with manna daily, they satisfied their thirst from the water that came from the Rock, yet they quickly corrupted themselves because they were impatient.

2 And Aaron said to them, “Break off the golden earrings which are in the ears of your wives, your sons, and your daughters, and bring them to me.”

3 So all the people broke off the golden earrings which were in their ears, and brought them to Aaron.

4 And he received the gold from their hand, and he fashioned it with an engraving tool, and made a molded calf. Then they said, “This is your god, O Israel, that brought you out of the land of Egypt!”

5 So when Aaron saw it, he built an altar before it. And Aaron made a proclamation and said, “Tomorrow is a feast to the LORD.”

6 Then they rose early on the next day, offered burnt offerings, and brought peace offerings; and the people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.

Of all people, Aaron facilitated the corruption of the people.  Aaron is the same one whose rod was used in front of Pharaoh to bring forth a miracle by casting down his rod that became a serpent swallowing up the sorcerers’ rods.  He was 83 years old at that time.  Clearly, Aaron’s mindset was corrupted.

The test of time will determine whether you are qualified or not to enter into your Promised Land.  Whatever you trust in will manifest during any perceived delay in receiving your promise.

Idolatry in the Old Testament is called greed in the New Testament.

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Colossians chapter 3:

5 Live as one who has died to every form of sexual sin and impurity. Live as one who has died to the desires for forbidden things, including the desire for wealth, which is the essence of idol worship.

6 When you live in these vices you ignite the anger of God against these acts of disobedience.

When you tithe and are charitable, you express the death of those acts of disobedience related to greed.  Greed will talk you out of giving your firstfruits as well as giving to those in need.  Idolatry is in the spirit what adultery is in the natural.  Those two areas of disobedience often go hand in hand.

James wrote by The Holy Spirit in James chapter 1:

2 My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials,

3 knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience.

4 But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.

5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.

6 But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind.

7 For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord;

8 he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.

Delay tests your faith and patience.  If you are double-minded, it will surface during a delay.  FATHER opens the door to those who HE can trust with greater power and authority.  Your trust IN HIM is tested by delay of the promise/prophecy given to you.

Entering The Promised Land

Friday, February 28th, 2025

Do you want to enter into your Promised Land?

Old Testament examples are symbolic pictures, as examples providing us with a warning so that we can learn through what they experienced.

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in 1st Corinthians chapter 10:

1 Moreover, brethren, I do not want you to be unaware that all our fathers were under the cloud, all passed through the sea,

2 all were baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea,

3 all ate the same spiritual food,

4 and all drank the same spiritual drink. For they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them, and that Rock was Christ.

Everyone in the wilderness had the same opportunity to enter into The Promised Land yet only two of the original two million who left Egypt did so.

5 But with most of them God was not well pleased, for their bodies were scattered in the wilderness.

Why was FATHER not well pleased with them?

It is written by The Holy Spirit in Hebrews chapter 11:

6 And without faith living within us it would be impossible to please God. For we come to God in faith knowing that HE is real and that HE rewards the faith of those who passionately seek HIM.

How can you have the manifested Presence of GOD before your very eyes and not have faith?

Moses recorded by The Holy Spirit in Exodus chapter 13:

21 And the LORD went before them by day in a pillar of cloud to lead the way, and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light, so as to go by day and night.

22 HE did not take away the pillar of cloud by day or the pillar of fire by night from before the people.

This is nearly an unbelievable indication of the power of blindness in people.  Their mindsets were so entrenched in their past, they were unable to comprehend WHO manifested HIMSELF before their eyes!

6 Now these things became our examples, to the intent that we should not lust after evil things as they also lusted.

7 And do not become idolaters as were some of them. As it is written, “The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.”

The people were practicing idolatry.  The people settled in to their unrestrained revelry, with feasting and drinking, then they rose up and became wildly out of control!

The word revelry means:  excessive and boisterous intemperance and lustful indulgence. It is classed with fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, etc., as one of the works of the flesh.  They were unrestrained and undisciplined.

8 Nor let us commit sexual immorality, as some of them did, and in one day twenty-three thousand fell;

And Moses recorded by The Holy Spirit in Numbers chapter 25:

1 Now Israel remained in Acacia Grove, and the people began to commit harlotry with the women of Moab.

Moab was a son of Lot.  It is clear that Lot was plagued by a spirit of immorality who had drawn him to live in Sodom and Gomorrah.  His descendants had allowed this generational spirit to guide them as well.

2 They invited the people to the sacrifices of their gods, and the people ate and bowed down to their gods.

The children of Israel were weak in the flesh and allowed themselves to align with the women of Moab.

3 So Israel was joined to Baal of Peor, and the anger of the LORD was aroused against Israel.

Baal-peor was the deity worshipped at Peor with probable licentious rites.

Those children of Israel were sexually unrestrained, lascivious, lewd, unrestrained by law or general morality, lawless, and immoral.  How did GOD respond?

4 Then the LORD said to Moses, “Take all the leaders of the people and hang the offenders before the LORD, out in the sun, that the fierce anger of the LORD may turn away from Israel.”

5 So Moses said to the judges of Israel, “Every one of you kill his men who were joined to Baal of Peor.”

6 And indeed, one of the children of Israel came and presented to his brethren a Midianite woman in the sight of Moses and in the sight of all the congregation of the children of Israel, who were weeping at the door of the tabernacle of meeting.

7 Now when Phinehas the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, saw it, he rose from among the congregation and took a javelin in his hand;

8 and he went after the man of Israel into the tent and thrust both of them through, the man of Israel, and the woman through her body. So the plague was stopped among the children of Israel.

9 And those who died in the plague were twenty-four thousand.

FATHER will not tolerate unrighteousness in HIS Presence.  HE will only allow those with a pure heart to stand before HIM.  The enemy would like to draw us away from purity by exploiting any weakness he can find.  We must cleanse ourselves with The Word daily and not allow anything to come between us and THE LORD.  Repent of any ungodly works now!

It’s All About Trust

Thursday, February 27th, 2025

Do you fully trust in THE LORD?

Once you fully trust in THE LORD, you can be entrusted with HIS power and authority and enter into your Promised Land.

Jesus spoke in Matthew chapter 4 when confronting the devil:

4 But Jesus answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every Word that proceeds from the Mouth of God.‘”

7 Jesus said to him, “It is written again, ‘You shall not tempt the LORD Your God.'”

10 Then Jesus said to him, “Away with you, Satan! For it is written, ‘You shall worship the LORD Your God, and Him only you shall serve.'”

You and I are to live by these commands expressed by Jesus.  As you produce fruit by living out these commands, your level of trust increases.  At some point, FATHER will entrust with more resources at your disposal.  We must let patience have its perfect work.  We must not allow ourselves to disregard any Word FATHER gives us but be diligent to pay close attention to what HE is saying.

The story of Moses and Joshua is a type and shadow of our own walk from slavery, testing, and ultimately entering into the Promised Land.

Moses recorded by The Holy Spirit in Deuteronomy chapter 6:

10 “So it shall be, when the LORD your God brings you into the land of which He swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give you large and beautiful cities which you did not build,

11 houses full of all good things, which you did not fill, hewn-out wells which you did not dig, vineyards and olive trees which you did not plant-when you have eaten and are full-

Notice that your enemies will build out infrastructure for you to take over.

12 then beware, lest you forget the LORD Who brought you out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.

13 You shall fear the LORD Your God and serve Him, and shall take oaths in His Name.

It is vital that we walk in the Fear of THE LORD at all times.

14 You shall not go after other gods, the gods of the peoples who are all around you

15 (for the LORD Your God is a jealous God among you), lest the anger of the LORD your God be aroused against you and destroy you from the face of the earth.

16 “You shall not tempt the LORD your God as you tempted Him in Massah.

We should not expect to be given a sign when we are able to hear HIS Voice.

17 You shall diligently keep the commandments of the LORD Your God, His testimonies, and His statutes which He has commanded you.

18 And you shall do what is right and good in the Sight of the LORD, that it may be well with you, and that you may go in and possess the good land of which the LORD swore to your fathers,

As we walk righteously and fully trust IN HIM, we will possess the Promised Land.

19 to cast out all your enemies from before you, as the LORD has spoken.

We must not allow our enemies to dwell with us or accept their mindset in any way.

20 “When your son asks you in time to come, saying, ‘What is the meaning of the testimonies, the statutes, and the judgments which the LORD Our God has commanded you?’

21 then you shall say to your son: ‘We were slaves of Pharaoh in Egypt, and the LORD brought us out of Egypt with a mighty hand;

22 and the LORD showed signs and wonders before our eyes, great and severe, against Egypt, Pharaoh, and all his household.

23 Then He brought us out from there, that He might bring us in, to give us the land of which He swore to our fathers.

24 And the LORD commanded us to observe all these statutes, to fear the LORD our God, for our good always, that He might preserve us alive, as it is this day.

25 Then it will be righteousness for us, if we are careful to observe all these commandments before the LORD our God, as He has commanded us.’

We should not be reluctant to tell others in our family about what THE LORD has done in our lives for we are living testimonies to encourage them to walk in the same trust in THE LORD as we have walked.  It is all about trust and walking in the Fear of THE LORD.

You Need A Sign?

Tuesday, February 25th, 2025

Do you really need a sign to confirm The Word of GOD?

The mind is the enemy-occupied territory that must be overtaken.

Luke recorded by The Holy Spirit in Luke chapter 1:

8-9 One day, Zechariah’s priestly order was on duty and he was serving as priest. He was chosen by the casting of lots (according to the custom of the priesthood) so the honor fell upon Zechariah to enter the Holy Place and burn incense before the Lord.

It is estimated that there were 20,000 priests in Christ’s time, so this was once-in-a-lifetime moment for Zechariah.  The burning of the incense before The Lord was done twice daily, once in the morning and once in the afternoon.  (Ex 30:7-8)

10 A large crowd of worshipers had gathered to pray outside the temple at the hour when incense was being offered.

11 All at once an angel of the Lord appeared to him, standing just to the right of the altar of incense.

12 Zechariah was startled and overwhelmed with fear.

Why was Zechariah startled?  No one could enter The Holy Place except the designated priest.  Zechariah was experiencing a supernatural encounter with an angel.

13 But the angel reassured him, saying, Don’t be afraid, Zechariah! God is showing grace to you. For I have come to tell you that your prayer for a child has been answered. Your wife, Elizabeth, will bear you a son and you are to name him John.

14 His birth will bring you much joy and gladness. Many will rejoice because of him,

Zechariah had been praying for a child and Gabriel announced that his prayer had been answered.  In the natural, it was impossible to have a child.  However, with GOD nothing is impossible!

15 and he will be one of the great ones in the sight of God. He will drink no wine or strong drink, but he will be filled with the Holy Spirit even while still in his mother’s womb.

16 And he will persuade many in Israel to convert and turn back to the Lord their God.

17 He will go before the Lord as a forerunner, with the same power and anointing as Elijah the prophet. He will be instrumental in turning the hearts of the fathers in tenderness back to their children and the hearts of the disobedient back to the wisdom of their righteous fathers. And he will prepare a united people who are ready for the Lord’s appearing.”

What a great promise, especially being filled with The Holy Spirit in the womb!  Was Zechariah ready to fully receive such a promise?

18 Zechariah asked the angel, “How do you expect me to believe this? I’m an old man and my wife is too old to give me a child. What sign can you give me to prove this will happen?

Even with such an encounter, Zechariah had unbelief in his heart.  He wasn’t fully believing in his own prayers.  Further, he was challenging the Word of THE LORD.

19 Then the angel said, “I am Gabriel. I stand beside God Himself. He has sent me to announce to you this good news.

Here you have a chief angel, one who is closest to The Throne of GOD stating a rēma Word of GOD given to Zechariah and he questions it!

20 But now, since you did not believe my Words, you will be stricken silent and unable to speak until the day my Words have been fulfilled at their appointed time and a child is born to you. That will be your sign!

FATHER’S best is that we don’t need a sign to confirm HIS rēma Word.  As Zechariah found out, there is a ramification when you challenge HIS Word.  He actually was given the first sign when the angel appeared in The Holy Place.  Requiring a second sign caused his inability to speak for nine months.

On the other hand, how did Mary respond when Gabriel appeared and spoke to her?

Luke 1:38 Then Mary said, “Behold the maidservant of the Lord! Let it be to me according to your Word.” And the angel departed from her.

Let us not respond in unbelief when we receive a rēma Word from THE LORD!

Taking And Occupying Territory

Monday, February 24th, 2025

We have been given enemy-occupied territory to take over!

The mind is the enemy-occupied territory that must be overtaken.

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in 2nd Corinthians chapter 1:

18 But as God is faithful, our Word to you was not Yes and No.

19 For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us-by me, Silvanus, and Timothy-was not Yes and No, but in Him was Yes.

20 For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.

In other Words, for as many as are the promises of God, in Christ they are all answered “Yes.” So through Him we say our “Amen” to the glory of God.

21 Now He who establishes us with you in Christ and has anointed us is God,

22 Who also has sealed us and given us the Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee.

Those of us who “Amen” to the positive promised of GOD do so in purity, passion, and power.  We don’t need HIS anointing to reside in Heaven, but we need It here on earth to bring forth Heaven to earth.  A true prophecy is a promise from GOD.

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in 1st Timothy chapter 1:

18 So Timothy, my son, I am entrusting you with this responsibility, in keeping with the very first prophecies that were spoken over your life, and are now in the process of fulfillment in this great work of ministry, in keeping with the prophecies spoken over you. With this encouragement use your prophecies as weapons as you wage spiritual warfare by faith and with a clean conscience. For there are many who reject these virtues and are now destitute of the true faith,

FATHER does not intend for us to passively stand by and expect HIM to simply bring HIS promises to fruition.  We are to actively “Amen” those prophecies as we wage spiritual warfare by faith.

Paul also wrote by The Holy Spirit in 2nd Corinthians chapter 10:

4 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds,

5 casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the Knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ,

6 and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled.

Although we live in the natural realm, we don’t wage a military campaign employing human weapons, using manipulation to achieve our aims. Instead, our spiritual weapons are energized with Divine power to effectively dismantle the defenses behind which people hide.  We can demolish every deceptive fantasy that opposes God and break through every arrogant attitude that is raised up in defiance of the true knowledge of God.

The example of the children of Israel who left Egypt and were meant to occupy the Promised Land are given to us as a warning.

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in 1st Corinthians chapter 10:

1 My dear fellow believers, you need to understand that all of our Jewish ancestors who walked through a wilderness long ago were under the Glory cloud and passed through the waters of the sea on both sides.

2 They were all baptized into the cloud of Glory, into the fellowship of Moses, and into the sea.

3 They all ate the same Heavenly manna

4 and drank water from the same Spiritual rock that traveled with them—and that Rock was Christ Himself.

5 Yet God was not pleased with most of them, and their dead bodies were scattered around the wilderness.

6 Now, all these things serve as types and pictures for us—lessons that teach us not to fail in the same way by callously craving worthless things

7 and practicing idolatry, as some of them did. For it is written: The people settled in to their unrestrained revelry, with feasting and drinking, then they rose up and became wildly out of control!

8 Neither should we commit sexual immorality, as some of them did, which caused the death of twenty-three thousand on a single day.

9 Nor should we ever provoke the Lord, as some of them did by putting HIM to outrageous tests that resulted in their death from snakebites day after day.

10 And we must not embrace their ways by complaining—grumbling with discontent, as many of them did, and were killed by the destroyer! [

1 All the tests they endured on their way through the wilderness are a symbolic picture, an example that provides us with a warning so that we can learn through what they experienced. For we live in a time when the purpose of all the ages past is now completing its goal within us.

12 So beware if you think it could never happen to you, lest your pride becomes your downfall.

Some would say that the Old Testament is not applicable to us today.  Paul and The Holy Spirit disagree with that false assumption.  The Promised Land does not represent Heaven above; it represents the Kingdom of Heaven on earth.  I recommend that you dwell on the parallel in which we will go into greater depth soon.

Why Were We Created?

Why were you and I created?

As we pursue GOD’S ways, we become fully aware why we were created.

It is recorded by The Holy Spirit in Isaiah chapter 43:

1 Now, this is what YAHWEH says: “Listen, Jacob, to the One who created you, Israel, to the one who shaped who you are. Do not fear, for I, your Kinsman-Redeemer, will rescue you. I have called (summoned) you by name, and you are mine.

2 When you pass through the deep, stormy sea, you can count on Me to be there with you. When you pass through raging rivers, you will not drown. When you walk through persecution like fiery flames, you will not be burned; the flames will not harm you,

3 for I am your Savior, YAHWEH, Your Mighty God, the Holy One of Israel! I give up Egypt as the price to set you free, Cush and Seba in exchange to bring you back.

4 Since you are cherished and precious in My Eyes, and because I Love you dearly and want to honor you, I willingly give up nations in exchange for you—a man to save your life.

5 I am with you now, even close to you, so never yield to fear. I will bring your children from the east; from the west I will gather you.

6 I will say to the north, ‘Hand them over!’ and to the south, ‘Don’t hold them back!’ Bring Me My sons from far away, My daughters from the ends of the earth!

7 Bring Me everyone who is called by My Name, the ones I created to experience My glory. I Myself formed them to be who they are and made them for My glory.”

This declaration includes you and me.  FATHER intends for us to see and experience HIS Glory not only in Heaven, but here on earth.  We are commanded to pray “Thy Kingdom come; Thy Will be done on earth as It is in Heaven.”

Is there any lack, sickness or disease in Heaven?  Absolutely not!  HE intends for us to bring Heaven to earth.  HE empowers us to fulfill that command.  We must eliminate unbelief by immersing ourselves in HIS Word and disregard the world’s attempts to dissuade us from this Truth.  If you are immersed in social media and other worldly input, you restrict yourself from spiritual maturity.

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Romans chapter 8:

28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who Love Him, who have been called according to HIS purpose.

29 For those God foreknew HE also predestined to be conformed to the Image of His Son, that He might be the Firstborn among many brothers and sisters.

30 And those He predestined, He also called; those He called, He also justified; those He justified, He also glorified.

You and I have been called and justified so that we may also be glorified with and through Jesus Christ.  Are you willing to fully accept this Truth?  Can it be expressed any simpler?

The Beloved Disciple recorded what he heard and saw by The Holy Spirit in Revelation chapter 4:

8 Each of the four living creatures had six wings and was covered with eyes all around, even under its wings. Day and night they never stop saying: “ ‘Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lord God Almighty,’ Who was, and is, and is to come.”

9 Whenever the living creatures give glory, honor and thanks to Him who sits on the throne and who lives for ever and ever,

10 the twenty-four elders fall down before Him Who sits on the Throne and worship Him Who lives for ever and ever. They lay their crowns before the Throne and say:

11 “You are worthy, Our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for You created all things, and by Your Will they were created and have their being.”

FATHER’S proper Name is LORD GOD ALMIGHTY.  However, we are given the privilege to call HIM “FATHER”.  When you pray, don’t call HIM “GOD”, but call HIM by HIS proper NAME or “FATHER”, you choose.

We are created and predestined to be HIS Sons and Daughters and to walk in HIS Glory here on earth.  Let’s not miss it! You and I are called to be world-changers.

Timing Is Everything

We must focus on the Internal and not let the external situations move us!

In some external situations we are to stay.  In other external situations we are to leave.  We must allow The Holy Spirit to determine whether we stay or go.  Human reasoning cannot accurately make such a decision.  It will focus on the current circumstances rather than FATHER’S Divine Intent.  Our circumstances may be inconvenient or uncomfortable or, I don’t feel good about the situation, resulting in the assumption that I should depart.  You will only know what to do by your sensitivity to THE SPIRIT of GOD Who lives in you.  What is He saying?  It is our only safeguard.

An external is a sign to get us to seek what GOD is actually saying through this unusual situation.  It all boils down to what is going on inside us: the peace that I live with, the fellowship with The Holy Spirit, my sensitivity to His conviction, my fight to maintain clear conscience, my willingness to come to The Scripture where the sword of THE LORD cuts deeply.  That place of deep affection for THE LORD will prevail and direct my steps when the opposition comes.

Jesus provides us with the perfect example of when to stay and when to go.

The Beloved Disciple recorded by The Holy Spirit in John chapter 11:

1 In the village of Bethany there was a man named Lazarus, and his sisters, Mary and Martha. Mary was the one who would anoint Jesus’ feet with costly perfume and dry his feet with her long hair. One day Lazarus became very sick to the point of death.

3 So his sisters sent a message to Jesus, “Lord, our brother Lazarus, the one you Love, is very sick. Please come!”

4 When he heard this, he said, “This sickness will not end in death for Lazarus, but will bring glory and praise to God. This will reveal the greatness of the Son of God by what takes place.”

5-6 Now even though Jesus loved Mary, Martha, and Lazarus, He remained where He was for two more days.

7 Finally, on the third day, He said to his disciples, “Come. It’s time to go to Bethany.

8 “But Teacher,” they said to Him, “do You really want to go back there? It was just a short time ago the people of Judea were going to stone You!”

The Holy Spirit directed Jesus to tarry for two days even though the external circumstance demanded His immediate departure.

9-10 Jesus replied, “Are there not twelve hours of daylight in every day? You can go through a day without the fear of stumbling when you walk in the One Who gives light to the world. But you will stumble when the light is not in you, for you’ll be walking in the dark.”

When the Light, that is The Holy Spirit, is in you, you will not stumble.

11 Then Jesus added, “Lazarus, our friend, has just fallen asleep. It’s time that I go and awaken him.”

On the third day, The Holy Spirit directed Jesus to go to Bethany.

12 When they heard this, the disciples replied, “Lord, if he has just fallen asleep, then he’ll get better.”

13 Jesus was speaking about Lazarus’ death, but the disciples presumed he was talking about natural sleep.

14 Then Jesus made it plain to them, “Lazarus is dead.

15 And for your sake, I’m glad I wasn’t there, because now you have another opportunity to see Who I am so that you will learn to Trust in me. Come, let’s go and see him.”

Thomas could only see the external:

16 So Thomas, nicknamed the Twin, remarked to the other disciples, “Let’s go so that we can die with him.”

The Holy Spirit will direct us in His timing.  He knows if there is opposition who would want to snare us and do us harm.  He knows who needs to be on hand to see the miracle manifest.  Timing is everything!
