The Abundant Life

Friday, July 15th, 2016

The written word does not express the intensity of what I want to convey.  Let the Holy Spirit minister the fullness of life in these Words that Jesus spoke:

In John chapter 10:

7 Then Jesus said to them again, “Most assuredly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep.

8 All who ever came before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them.

9 I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture.

10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

Who else could make such a proclamation?  Only Jesus Whom FATHER sent could make such a claim.  Why do we focus on the temporal when our future lies with the Words of Jesus?  Who cares what the world thinks and propagates through the air waves?  There is only one answer and one door to the fullness of life and Jesus came to show us that door.

Let us highly esteem the Words of Jesus above all else and let no other path be tempting for it will only lead to sorrow, destruction, and ultimately death.  As we take on this Life Jesus urges us to choose, we will then experience the Love and peace He walked in.  Materialism will no longer be a temptation once we embrace Life.  The quest for comfort will be fulfilled by the Comforter, the Holy Spirit.

Stop!  Take time to consider these words and ask yourself if you have truly focused and highly esteemed the Words of the Son of THE MOST HIGH GOD or do you treat them in a lesser manner?   If FATHER took the time and effort to send HIS Son with the answers to life, why don’t we embrace them to the same degree?

People want abundance in their life and many will work night and day to achieve abundance.  Once achieved they will hoard their resources as though FATHER is limited in what HE can provide.  Where is their faith? The disciples could not cast a demon out of a young boy.  The son’s father had asked the disciples to heal him but they were unable so he approached Jesus Who then cast out the demon.  In Matthew chapter 17 Jesus responded to their inability to heal the boy:

20 So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.

21 However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.”

In this very same event found in Luke 9, Jesus spoke:

41 Then Jesus answered and said, “O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you and bear with you? Bring your son here.”

We must focus our attention on maturing in our relationship with FATHER which will allow our faith to increase.  As we hear HIS Word faith comes.  Jesus called His disciples a “faithless and perverse” generation.  What would He call this generation we are in?  The word “perverse” means” to distort, turn aside, to oppose; plot against the saving purposes and plans of God; to turn aside from the right path, to pervert, corrupt.  Our path should contain life-producing fruit.  Each of us should press in and focus on the Words of Jesus for they should be the emphasis and basis of our life.

Let us not pervert the priorities in our life anymore.  Let us return to the simplicity of Christ and pursue the fullness of a relationship with FATHER.  It is time for a “reset” for it is never too late to return to that narrow path.  Some wandered away from the path only to find the alternatives brought forth an emptiness and were unable to fill the void.  People are looking for comfort in drugs, alcohol, sex, and anything else that might provide at least a temporary escape from their problems.  The reality is those areas of temporary comfort are “perverse” when considering what Jesus represents- abundant life.  Mary, the mother of Jesus, said it best in John chapter 2:

5 His mother said to the servants, “Whatever He says to you, do it.

As It Is In My Heart

Thursday, July 14th, 2016

By THE SPIRIT in the book of Joshua it was written in chapter 14:

6 Then the children of Judah came to Joshua in Gilgal. And Caleb the son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite said to him: “You know the word which the LORD said to Moses the man of God concerning you and me in Kadesh Barnea.

7 I was forty years old when Moses the servant of the LORD sent me from Kadesh Barnea to spy out the land, and I brought back word to him as it was in my heart.

8 Nevertheless my brethren who went up with me made the heart of the people melt, but I wholly followed the LORD my God.

What will be your testimony at the culmination of your purpose?  Each day we are either walking out our purpose found within our hearts or we are delaying and/or rejecting our calling.  There were twelve spies sent into the Promised Land but only two fulfilled their purpose and trusted wholly in FATHER’S Word.  Yes, you could say the others fulfilled a purpose of unbelief but I would say FATHER does not promote failure among HIS creation.  There is a Remnant in each generation who have committed to a similar path of Joshua and Caleb, even if it gets down to two men and their families staying on that narrow path.

Ten spies were moved by what they saw when they spied out the land and they were able to convince the children of Israel to remain in unbelief.  Caleb was a man of faith and was willing to wait 38 1/2 years to begin to receive his inheritance.  He never wavered but wholly followed the LORD OUR GOD.  The sooner you come to the realization that wholly following FATHER‘S Divine Intent promotes life, the better off you will be.  What else really matters?

9 So Moses swore on that day, saying, ‘Surely the land where your foot has trodden shall be your inheritance and your children’s forever, because you have wholly followed the LORD my God.’

10 And now, behold, the LORD has kept me alive, as He said, these forty-five years, ever since the LORD spoke this word to Moses while Israel wandered in the wilderness; and now, here I am this day, eighty-five years old.

11 As yet I am as strong this day as on the day that Moses sent me; just as my strength was then, so now is my strength for war, both for going out and for coming in.

12 Now therefore, give me this mountain of which the LORD spoke in that day; for you heard in that day how the Anakim were there, and that the cities were great and fortified. It may be that the LORD will be with me, and I shall be able to drive them out as the LORD said.”

13 And Joshua blessed him, and gave Hebron to Caleb the son of Jephunneh as an inheritance.

14 Hebron therefore became the inheritance of Caleb the son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite to this day, because he wholly followed the LORD God of Israel.

Caleb was now eighty-five years old and had not lost any strength but was able to take the land promised him and still fully trusted in FATHER to empower him to take the land of his inheritance.  There are those who are occupying your land today and have lawlessly claimed it as theirs.  The original “title” to every aspect of this earth belongs to FATHER, no matter what its composition or nature.  We have the right as heirs to whatever FATHER has designated as our Promised Land and we should also wholly follow Our Heavenly Father and take this earth back as the rightful possession of HIS Kingdom.

The ten spies were moved by what they saw rather than the Word FATHER spoke assuring them of success.  Even though FATHER had delivered them out of the hands of the Egyptians and provided food and water in the wilderness, they still doubted HIM in their hearts.  This led to their demise in the wilderness.  Let us be of good courage as FATHER speaks to us and instructs us to do things that go against the world’s wisdom.  Let us respond positively to HIS guidance each and every day.  Cast down those vain imaginations directing you to any path other than righteousness.  The more you respond to FATHER’S directives, the more peace you will walk in no matter what the circumstance.  The Psalmist wrote by THE SPIRIT in chapter 40:

1 I waited patiently for the LORD;

And He inclined to me, And heard my cry.

2 He also brought me up out of a horrible pit,

Out of the miry clay,

And set my feet upon a rock, And established my steps.

3 He has put a new song in my mouth—

Praise to our God;

Many will see it and fear, And will trust in the LORD.

4 Blessed is that man who makes the LORD his trust,

And does not respect the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies.

5 Many, O LORD my God, are Your wonderful works

Which You have done;

And Your thoughts toward us Cannot be recounted to You in order;

If I would declare and speak of them, They are more than can be numbered.

Let FATHER operate in the midst of your heart as command your mind to become your servant rather than your ruler.  Be not moved by what you see when it conflicts with FATHER’S instructions for the things of this world are temporal and subject to change.  Embrace the reality that HIS Kingdom is not only in Heaven but is also to be realized on earth as well.  As it is in your heart, so will be your actions and success.

The Truth of Intent

Wednesday, July 13th, 2016

In Matthew chapter 5, Jesus spoke:

21 “You have heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not murder, and whoever murders will be in danger of the judgment.’

22 But I say to you that whoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment. And whoever says to his brother, ‘Raca!’ shall be in danger of the council. But whoever says, ‘You fool!’ shall be in danger of hell fire.

23 Therefore if you bring your gift to the altar, and there remember that your brother has something against you,

24 leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift.

25 Agree with your adversary quickly, while you are on the way with him, lest your adversary deliver you to the judge, the judge hand you over to the officer, and you be thrown into prison.

26 Assuredly, I say to you, you will by no means get out of there till you have paid the last penny.”

People with the wrong intent often hide behind their behavior and mask what is in their hearts.  I have said in the past that if you really want to know someone, go on vacation with them for ultimately their true character will come out.  Most people can maintain the illusion that all is well for a day or two but if you are with them long enough, their true identity surfaces.  If you simply purpose to walk and stand on the Truth, life becomes simple and pleasant.

People are often at odds with other people because of there being a lack of Love present in their relationship.  If Love were present, each party would be willing to lay down their life for the other and thus no conflict would arise.  But what if one does?  Jesus instructs us to go to the other person and rectify the situation else judgment will ultimately arrive and neither party may want the result.

Everyone has an opinion and it may or may not be right.  It may even be partially correct and contain some supporting facts.  Truth provides the foundation for life to be lived to its fullest and any other position is subject to decline, destruction, and ultimately death.  Jesus tells us to move toward peace and restoration with our others whom we have an association.  Let us resolve our differences no matter who is at fault.  In Ephesians chapter 4 by THE SPIRIT Paul wrote:

25 Therefore, putting away lying, Let each one of you speak truth with his neighbor,” for we are members of one another.

26 “Be angry, and do not sin”:do not let the sun go down on your wrath,

27 nor give place to the devil.

28 Let him who stole steal no longer, but rather let him labor, working with his hands what is good, that he may have something to give him who has need.

29 Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers.

30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.

31 Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice.

32 And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.

If you take heed to these instructions, you will minimize any conflict with your brother.  If he steals from you, be willing to forgive him and ask FATHER to restore the loss if appropriate.  Was the theft do to a severe need that you could have helped fulfill but didn’t?  The Truth must surface in order to resolve the intent of any hurtful action.  Anger does not resolve the issue but knowing the Truth and discerning what Love would do in response will expose the root of the problem.

We must not let division keep us from the true Altar before FATHER.  Our prayers will be hindered if we allow division, anger, bitterness, or other such issues prevail in our lives.  If we do not keep the “slate” clean, we ultimately give place to the devil and then we wonder why our fruitfulness has become limited.  Cancer can result from a person holding bitterness in the heart against another.  Dr. Speckhart observed this reality in his oncology practice.  Spiritual issues will present themselves emotionally and physically as well.  Those who are in constant turmoil will have further complications which will hold them back from a fruitful and peaceful life.

Let us each walk in Love as our primary intent.  Be quick to forgive and don’t sweat the loss of “things” but instead focus your time and attention on life and restoration of others.  Yes, there may be times when judgment will be served but let it not be served on you.  Walking in the Divine Intent of Love will keep any judgment from being visited upon you.

People focus on having a relationship with FATHER and that is good.  In addition, they need to express Love and mercy to others in order that the flow remain unhindered.  Become as a conduit and let the Love from FATHER be expressed through you to others.  This is how the Kingdom will be spread throughout the earth.  “Go ye into all the world” begins with the next person you encounter.

The Great Light

Tuesday, July 12th, 2016

In Matthew chapter 4, Jesus begins His ministry:

13 And leaving Nazareth, He came and dwelt in Capernaum, which is by the sea, in the regions of Zebulun and Naphtali,

14 that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying:

15 “The land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali,

By the way of the sea, beyond the Jordan,

Galilee of the Gentiles:

16 The people who sat in darkness have seen a great light,

And upon those who sat in the region and shadow of death

Light has dawned.”

17 From that time Jesus began to preach and to say, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”

Jesus began His ministry in Capernaum (the village of the Comforter).  We are told the people in this area were in spiritual gloominess and darkness which would lead us to believe there was no apparent hope for change.  Where was the best place for a Great Light to be illuminated?  One of great darkness.  In addition we must note that Jesus began calling His disciples from this very location:

18 And Jesus, walking by the Sea of Galilee, saw two brothers, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea; for they were fishermen.

19 Then He said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.”

20 They immediately left their nets and followed Him.

21 Going on from there, He saw two other brothers, James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, in the boat with Zebedee their father, mending their nets. He called them,

22 and immediately they left the boat and their father, and followed Him.

Matthew quoted the prophecy in Isaiah chapter 9:1-2 concerning the establishment of the Kingdom government in verses 15 to 17.  A government is a means of administering the intent of the ONE who established it in order to maintain lawfulness, rights, and prosperity for all.  The intent is the key point of a government and whether the citizens will embrace the government or oppose it.

Jesus began setting up the Kingdom of GOD in an area of great darkness.  He was not consumed by the darkness but exposed the darkness for what it was and His Great Light began to change the landscape.  He called upon average fishermen to arise out of the darkness and join Him.  This should encourage each of us that our past and/or present situation is not our destiny.  At any moment our calling may be either activated or increased to a greater degree.  We must not let the darkness surrounding us deter us from moving up higher.  The day before Jesus called these men they were not anticipating the activation of their calling.  They were simply doing what the knew to do… fish.  They were carrying on with a popular vocation of the day but within 24 hours, their lives would change forever.

What were the qualifications of these men?  They responded to the Great Light called Jesus.  They were not lawyers, doctors, or scholars but were average people like you and me,  Yes, average people can accomplish great things when FATHER’S Divine Intent enters the scene.  Is darkness becoming greater and covering the earth with lawlessness?  Good news, a Great Light can dispel great darkness in an instant for it overcomes darkness.

James and John were mending nets when they were called.  The nets were broken and needed maintenance thus they were busy fixing the tools of their trade.  We too must not let the small things do undone for in the midst of focusing on the small things, we may receive an unexpected empowerment.  These men dwelled in the area of the Comforter as a subtle indication of ultimately being led by the Holy Spirit.  We must be sensitive as well when that day arrives for the Great Light to shine upon our purpose.  Let us not disregard that still, small voice but increase in sensitivity.

A great darkness precedes the Great Light.  Be not dismayed with the current circumstances but prepare yourself for the Great Light to be illuminated across the land.

Who Do You Follow?

Monday, July 11th, 2016

The word follow means to pursue; act according to (an instruction or precept); pay close attention to (something); to understand and practice.  In John chapter 10, Jesus spoke:

1 “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who does not enter the sheepfold by the door, but climbs up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.

2 But he who enters by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.

3 To him the doorkeeper opens, and the sheep hear his voice; and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out.

4 And when he brings out his own sheep, he goes before them; and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice.

5 Yet they will by no means follow a stranger, but will flee from him, for they do not know the voice of strangers.”

Our path to THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY Whom we knew as FATHER is through Jesus Christ.  This may seem basic to us but we must not forget this primary reality as we walk out our daily lives.  We must not reduce the Words of Jesus to another view but treat them as being directly from FATHER to us for our instruction.  These instructions, guidance, and warnings Jesus spoke are critical to our daily lives as well as our ultimate future walk.

What priority do you place on the Words of Jesus and The Holy Spirit?  Do you receive them with the innocence of a child and respond accordingly or do you attempt to analyze them to the nth degree as though their face value isn’t enough?  Did Jesus require us to receive a doctorate in order to become mature Sons and Daughters?  Absolutely not!  Why spend so much time on secondary topics rather than simply pursue being led by THE SPIRIT as Jesus was?

In Matthew chapter 7, Jesus spoke:

13 “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it.

14  Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.”

Jesus just warned us of a potential hazard.  It is easy to miss the narrow path that only He can lead us to and keep us on versus the broad path toward destruction.  Consider those words for a moment.  If it was simple to find and stay on the path do you think FATHER would have had HIS Son speak these words of warning?  We must highly esteem the Words of Jesus and heed them.  We must not let them become forgotten as we pursue other areas of study as though they were only applicable for a time.  The Words of FATHER through HIS Son must not be diluted with men’s opinions and commentary for the Words from the Throne Room are sufficient to stand on their own.  If men’s writings do not keep those Truths at the forefront of their teaching, you should ask yourself if the pursuit of such study is worthy of bringing forth good fruit in your life.

Do we emphasize men’s words over the Commands of Jesus?  The prophets of the Old Testament pointed us toward the coming of The Son of THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY.  The numbers, the meanings of names, etc. in Scripture had the ultimate purpose of restoring us to FATHER through HIS Son.  The simplicity of that Truth must not be diluted, sacrificed, or forgotten.  Our lives should reflect that Truth and our conversation should align with that reality.  If it doesn’t, repent and realign your priorities with FATHER’S.

FATHER has provided us with the Perfect Example to follow.  Jesus provided us with concise instructions to live by.  As we keep those instructions at the forefront of our consciousness and build upon those Truths through interaction with others who are being led by THE HOLY SPIRIT (Who testifies of Jesus Christ), then we will be well-rounded in all areas of our lives.  FATHER reveals deeper Truths to those who embrace the fullness of Christ.  Those Truths should be sought out but not at the expense of the foundational Truths established through the Words of Jesus.  If the house is built on a solid foundation, it will withstand the tests and trials of life so let us keep our foundation strong.

Exceeding Greatness of HIS Power

Sunday, July 10th, 2016

In Ephesians chapter 1, Paul wrote and prayed by THE SPIRIT:

17 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him,

18 the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints,

19 and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power

20 which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places,

21 far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come.

22 And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church,

23 which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.

If FATHER did not want us to have the Spirit of wisdom and revelation HE would not have moved upon Paul to pray and write this prayer.  Wisdom would have us discern the value and fully esteem the Words of Jesus and those Words would reveal what FATHER wants us to not only comprehend be employ in our own lives.  We must not be moved by the world’s circumstances but instead we must not only tap into to HIS mighty power but walk in it on a daily basis.  This power is not only intended for use in the highest realm of the Spiritual but in the lower realms as well, including the physical.  Jesus had no reluctance to command the physical as the need arose.

Our eyes of understanding must be enlightened for us to see and embrace the fullness of Christ.  We must not let hope be deferred but walk in that hope on a daily basis despite what is going on all around us.  Let us open our eyes wide that we may comprehend the riches of the glory of our inheritance.  That inheritance is not only in the future but in the here and now.

FATHER displayed HIS power over death when HE raised Christ from the dead and exalted Him and seated Him at HIS Right Hand.  Is there a greater power than raising the dead in this physical realm?  Jesus displayed that power when He raised Lazarus from the dead by the power given to Him by FATHER.  As we take on the Spirit of wisdom, revelation, and understanding we too should expect to walk in similar fashion as our Elder Brother Jesus.  We must not let the carnal man convince us otherwise for the old man would keep us bound in those worldly chains of death and destruction if possible.  We must not let our past dictate our future.  If Paul had succumbed to the past, he would not have been any part of what we call the New Testament.

Jesus Christ has been raised by FATHER above all principalities, powers, might, and dominions.  To further state the reality, every name that is named is also included which leaves nothing else above Him.  Make no mistake He is above all and we should esteem Him accordingly.  Those who are ashamed of Jesus Christ do not comprehend His Majesty and should repent and refocus on His Words.  Who else is a better representation of FATHER than HIS first begotten Son?

The world has and is attempting to suppress the knowledge of Jesus Christ Our Lord.  The remnant has been chosen to carry not only the Banner of Christ but also to operate in the power as mature Sons and Daughters.  Let us embrace this calling and press in to the fullest extent.  Every other activity is secondary to our mandate so let us set ourselves in full agreement with FATHER rather than man.  Be not moved by the events of the world but only be moved by FATHER’S Word to you.

We must take a stand for righteousness and not compromise and submit to the world’s ways for they are only temporary anyway.  Jesus has been described as our Rock for HE is immovable.  Let our Love, faith, and hope be immovable as well so that those who cross our paths will see hope in their lives as well.  Are you being faced with challenges?  Don’t cower down but instead rise up in righteousness and deal with them head on.  FATHER’S Word has power to cause It to come to pass for those who walk in It.  Being fully led by the Holy Spirit, the disciples accomplished great things on behalf of the Kingdom.  We too will do the same.

The War

Friday, July 8th, 2016

In the Revelation of Jesus Christ, John wrote by THE SPIRIT in chapter 13:

7  It was granted to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them. And authority was given him over every tribe, tongue, and nation.

We are at war with worldliness and we must get the “world” out of us as we go forth in the coming days, weeks, and months.  The beast is the carnal nature that would attempt to eliminate us being led by THE SPIRIT and succumb to worldly pleasures and actions.  The world is increasingly becoming polarized and is causing many to focus on worldly issues rather than Spiritual Truths and realities.

In chapter 4, James by THE SPIRIT wrote:

4  You adulteresses, do you not know that friendship with the world is hostility toward God? Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.

An adulterer is one who is not faithful toward GOD and this person is called an enemy.  An enemy is one who opposes and is hostile and hateful toward FATHER as well as those who walk in HIS Divine Intent.  We are not to flee the world but are instructed to flee worldliness which happens to be our enemy.  The war is waged within us and we must not let the carnal man strengthen and overpower the Spiritual man.  Worldliness must not creep in and take hold for it is hostile toward our communion with FATHER and will cause us to grow dull in hearing and seeing.

Jesus prayed for His disciples and this prayer is applicable to you and me as well.  Being the Son of GOD, Jesus knew better than anyone else the importance of prayer.  We too should embrace this same reality that prayer is critical to our welfare.  In John chapter 17, Jesus spoke to FATHER and prayed on behalf of those who are called to spread the Gospel:

6 “I have manifested Your name to the men whom You have given Me out of the world. They were Yours, You gave them to Me, and they have kept Your word.

7 Now they have known that all things which You have given Me are from You.

8 For I have given to them the words which You have given Me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came forth from You; and they have believed that You sent Me.”

Jesus prayed that we keep FATHER’S Word and not let it depart from us in any manner.  FATHER confirmed and is still confirming HIS Word among the Sons.  Jesus clearly states: “I have given them (and us) the Words which YOU have given Me”.   This is why I believe it is critical for us to consider and focus on the Words of Jesus.  If they were not important, Jesus would not have spoken them for our benefit.  We cannot be fully mature without that focus and FATHER found it necessary to send forth HIS Son on our behalf.  We should not underestimate that value for we are at war.  Jesus continued:

9 “I pray for them. I do not pray for the world but for those whom You have given Me, for they are Yours.

10 And all Mine are Yours, and Yours are Mine, and I am glorified in them.

11 Now I am no longer in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to You. Holy Father, keep through Your name those whom You have given Me, that they may be one as We are.”

You and I are HIS therefore this prayer applies to us as well.  We are to be one and in unity with FATHER and each other.  Jesus is ONE with FATHER and we are called to walk in the same manner.  Jesus was no longer in the world and we must accept that same path fully and completely.  The world must not enter in and take hold just as we would not let a strongman in our house and take it away from us.  We must not let the enemy slither into our presence but instead cast it out.  Jesus went on to pray:

14 “I have given them Your word; and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world.

15 I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one.

16 They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world.

17 Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth.

18 As You sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world.

19 And for their sakes I sanctify Myself, that they also may be sanctified by the truth.”

We have been sent into the world to redeem it.  The enemy must be fought within and defeated so that we can be a light to the world.  Jesus did not pray to remove and isolate us from the world but to go forth in HIS NAME.  We are to overcome the carnal nature first in ourselves and then minister to all who HE places before us.  The enemy is the carnal nature, not the man.  Love will overcome the enemy and convert men, not kill them.  As Paul wrote in 2 Corinthians chapter 10 by THE SPIRIT:

4 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds,

5 casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ

The overcomers will win the war by THE SPIRIT and Love.

Being an Initiator

Thursday, July 7th, 2016

The word initiate means to begin, to set forth in motion, to introduce.  In Matthew chapter 4, Jesus initiated contact and called men to become disciples:

18 And Jesus, walking by the Sea of Galilee, saw two brothers, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea; for they were fishermen.

19 Then He said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.”

20 They immediately left their nets and followed Him.

21 Going on from there, He saw two other brothers, James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, in the boat with Zebedee their father, mending their nets. He called them,

22 and immediately they left the boat and their father, and followed Him.

Jesus the pattern Son is our perfect example of being a mature Son of FATHER.  He did not walk in a hidden manner but initiated contact with others and changed their lives.  We have many opportunities each day to initiate interaction with others and have a positive impact on their lives.  We should purpose to improve their day by giving them an opportunity to see Love in action.  Otherwise, nothing will change in their lives.

Consider the four men in the above passage.  They were simply working and minding their business when Jesus came into the picture and literally changed their lives in a single moment.  FATHER spoke to Jesus and pointed out those men for HE knew they were ready to embark on an adventure of a lifetime.  You know that their hearts were ready but waiting for that moment to come along… and it did.

We should prepare ourselves for things to change in an instant.  There are times when many feel that they are destined to the drudgery they are currently stuck in but they must not be dismayed for FATHER is not unaware of the circumstances.  When the children of Israel were preparing to go into the Promised Land, by THE SPIRIT Moses spoke in Deuteronomy chapter 31:

8  “And the LORD, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed.”

FATHER goes before us and HE is also our rearguard thus HE surrounds us with HIS Love.  We have a choice to stay in the wilderness or move on to the Promised Land in these times as well.  You cannot be dualistic in your thinking, you either will trust the world’s view or trust FATHER’S Words to you.  James by THE SPIRIT wrote about this issue in chapter 1:

2 My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials,

3 knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience.

4 But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.

5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.

6 But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind.

7 For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; 8 he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.

When you are flowing in THE SPIRIT, you will initiate interaction which produces life and Love in other people.  You plant good seed in their lives and it will begin to grow for FATHER watches over HIS Word to perform it.  These are challenging times for many and they are suffering from a dearth in the land.  The Remnant have kept the land from suffering full judgment and I tell you that FATHER’S Kingdom will be established on earth as it is in Heaven.  Rest assured of the fact.  The only question is what will be your and my participation in that eventuality.  Let us seek HIS FACE each and every day and become initiators of HIS Words in other peoples’ lives.  Some of us will plant, others will water and FATHER will provide the increase of the Kingdom in peoples’ lives.

Increased Spiritual Activity

Last night my wife had a very intense dream concerning an attempt by a demonic spirit to do her harm in an alley between a parking lot and a school.  She was required to walk with her back close to the hedge within the wall of one side of the alley.  She woke up after 1:00 AM with intense pain across her back.  She described the dream to me at around 8:30 AM this morning.

At 9:30 AM our daughter called and explained a dream she had last night.  We were in one of the bedrooms and a pencil hung by a string to the wall (as a pendulum) moved on its own.  Both she and my wife saw it immediately but I did not.  It moved again and we all three saw it.  She was then pushed to the floor on her stomach and the demonic spirit applied extreme pressure to her back which caused her great pain.  My wife and I prayed and she was then released.

Also, last night a close friend also experienced notable spiritual activity beginning at 2:57 AM perceiving an unwanted presence as she walked down the hall.  Something is definitely up!
