At the Judgment Seat of Christ, each of us will be assessed according to our works!
The Word of GOD describes judgment to come forth in four distinct events.
The first will be before the judgment seat of Christ.
Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Romans chapter 14:
10 But why do you judge your brother? Or why do you show contempt for your brother? For we shall all stand before the Judgment Seat of Christ.
11 For it is written: “As I live, says the LORD, Every knee shall bow to Me, And every tongue shall confess to God.”
12 So then each of us (Christians) shall give account of himself to God.
13 Therefore let us not judge one another anymore, but rather resolve this, not to put a stumbling block or a cause to fall in our brother’s way.
The only person you’re going to have to give account for is yourself! Neither you nor I can assess the motives, history, or other factors impacting another person’s life. Only THE LORD knows.
Paul returns to this topic in 2nd Corinthians chapter 5:
10 For we must all appear (or made manifest) before the Judgment Seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.
11 Since we are those who stand in Holy awe of the Lord, we make it our passion to persuade others to turn to Him. We know that our lives are transparent before the God Who knows us fully, and I hope that we are also well known to your consciences.
There will be no secrets because everything will be exposed. Nothing will be hidden. We will be before the Judgment Seat of Christ to receive according to the way we have lived in the body. There are only two categories, whether good or bad, nothing in between. Everything that is not good is bad.
Jesus spoke in Matthew chapter 12:
30 He who is not with Me is against Me, and he who does not gather with Me scatters abroad.
There is no neutrality! When you are unwilling to commit, you are effectively against Christ and His directives, and you will be judged accordingly. This is a sober reality that we all must consider. How many are sitting in church pews unwilling to confront this Truth? With The Holy Spirit, there is no neutrality!
James wrote by The Holy Spirit in James chapter 2:
14 What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him?
15 If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food,
16 and one of you says to them, “Depart in peace, be warmed and filled,” but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit?
17 Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.
18 But someone will say, “You have faith, and I have works.” Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works.
19 You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe-and tremble!
20 But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead?
Those who partner with Servias are rewarded for their faith since we assist in providing kids in need with food and clothing on a consistent monthly basis. We will receive Heavenly rewards at the Judgment Seat of Christ.
There are five main features of this judgment:
It is individual, each of us will answer for himself, for the things done in the body, the way we lived while we were in this body… whether good or bad.
Secondly, this judgment is not for condemnation. We are going to be judged but we will not be condemned if we are true, sincere believers in Christ. The principle of judgment is for assessment of service.
Jesus spoke in John chapter 3:
18 “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the Name of the only begotten Son of God.
And in John chapter 5:
24 “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My Word and believes in Him Who sent Me has everlasting Life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life.
And Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Romans chapter 8:
1 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.
This judgment will assess your service to Jesus during your life.
Paul expresses this Truth when he wrote by The Holy Spirit in 1st Corinthians chapter 3:
11 For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.
12 Now if anyone builds on this foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw,
13 each one’s work will become clear; for the Day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one’s work, of what sort it is.
14 If anyone’s work which he has built on it endures, he will receive a reward.
15 If anyone’s work is burned, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire.
When the fire of judgment comes, what will be left and endure?
