As we walk in Holiness, we shall see THE LORD!
Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Hebrews chapter 12:
14 In every relationship be swift to choose peace over competition, and run swiftly toward Holiness, for those who are not Holy will not see THE LORD.
15 Watch over each other to make sure that no one misses the revelation of God’s grace. And make sure no one lives with a root of bitterness sprouting within them which will only cause trouble and poison the hearts of many.
16 Be careful that no one among you lives in immorality, becoming careless about God’s blessings, like Esau who traded away his rights as the firstborn for a simple meal.
17 And we know that later on when he wanted to inherit his father’s blessing, he was turned away, even though he begged for it with bitter tears, for it was too late then to repent.
We are to pursue peace with all people, and Holiness, without which no one will see the Lord. We must protect our hearts from the world’s impurities.
Jesus prayed for His Disciples AND you and me in John chapter 17:
9 “I pray for them (My Disciples). I do not pray for the world but for those whom You have given Me, for they are Yours.
10 And all Mine are Yours, and Yours are Mine, and I am glorified in them. 11 Now I am no longer in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to You. Holy Father, keep through Your Name those whom You have given Me, that they may be one as We are.
You and I are meant to be in unity as Our Heavenly Father and Our Lord Jesus Christ are ONE!
12 While I was with them in the world, I kept them in Your Name. Those whom You gave Me I have kept; and none of them is lost except the son of perdition, that the Scripture might be fulfilled.
Sadly, there will be those who are lost, but let us not be found among them for any reason.
13 But now I come to You, and these things I speak in the world, that they may have My joy fulfilled in themselves.
14 I have given them Your Word; and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world.
The world will hate us, that Truth is manifesting all around us. Fear not but be of good courage as the enemy attempts to propel his fiery darts toward us.
15 I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one.
16 They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world.
17 Sanctify them by Your Truth. Your Word is Truth.
Our hearts are cleansed and purified by The Word. Daily purification guards against the impurities that the world tries to expose us to in a persistent manner.
18 As You sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world.
19 And for their sakes I sanctify Myself, that they also may be sanctified by The Truth.
Let us not focus on being harpazo’d but instead we should pursue and fulfill our individual missions on earth. This is where our reliance on The Holy Spirit is vital in our daily lives.
20 “I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their Word;
This includes you and me!
21 that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me.
22 And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one:
23 I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have Loved them as You have Loved Me.
In other Words, the very glory FATHER have given to Jesus, He has given us so that we will be joined together as one and experience the same unity that They enjoy.
Jesus spoke in Matthew chapter 5:
8 Blessed are the pure in heart, For they shall see God.
As my heart is sanctified by The Word, it will become pure which will result in my eyes seeing Our Heavenly Father. What a blessing!
