Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in 1 Corinthians chapter 9:
24 Isn’t it obvious that all runners on the racetrack keep on running to win, but only one receives the victor’s prize? Yet each one of you must run the race to be victorious. 25 A true athlete will be disciplined in every respect, practicing constant self-control in order to win a laurel wreath that quickly withers. But we run our race to win a victor’s crown that will last forever. 26 For that reason, I don’t run just for exercise or box like one throwing aimless punches, 27 but I train like a champion athlete. I subdue my body and get it under my control, so that after preaching the good news to others I myself won’t be disqualified.
And in Romans chapter 8:
1 So now the case is closed. There remains no accusing voice of condemnation against those who are joined in life-union with Jesus, the Anointed One. 2 For the “law” of the Spirit of life flowing through the anointing of Jesus has liberated us from the “law” of sin and death. 3 For God achieved what the law was unable to accomplish, because the law was limited by the weakness of human nature.
Once we submit to the Spirit of Life, we overcome the law of sin and death. Within this submission, we overcome both the soul and the body thus we will not be disqualified by either.
As we walk according to the Spirit of Life, we start choosing and using our words very carefully because FATHER’S Words become our words and within them are power and authority from ON HIGH. We will refrain from “idle” words and mean what we say.
Further, we only speak the Absolute Truth rather than simply “facts” which may change depending on a revelation which will change the foundation of those facts. It was a fact that I could not fly yet now I can fly in an airplane. The airplane is accessing a higher law than gravity thus allowing me to operate in a “higher” plane.
Every day we draw closer to the fullness of walking according to FATHER’S perfect plan, will, and purpose for each of our lives. We are bringing our bodies into full subjection and our minds are being transformed as we intently focus on HIS Word. Focusing on the world and its chaos is no longer of a priority but instead we joyfully anticipate FATHER’S next move.
FATHER is not reacting to the “wiles” of the devil. The devil and his minions are responding to FATHER’S moves. FATHER is the initiator whereas satan is only a responder.
Very soon, our hopes will be fully manifested. The Holy Spirit is taking hold of us in our human frailty to empower us in our weakness. At times we don’t even know how to pray, or know the best things to ask for. But the Holy Spirit rises up within us to super-intercede on our behalf, pleading to GOD with emotional sighs too deep for words.
As Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit:
27 GOD, the Searcher of the heart, knows fully our longings, yet HE also understands the desires of the Spirit, because the Holy Spirit passionately pleads before GOD for us, HIS Holy ones, in perfect harmony with GOD’S plan and our destiny.
FATHER is doing HIS part to move us toward fulfillment of our individual callings. Our part is to bring our soul and body into subjection as well as remain vigilant of the devil’s attempts to deceive us.
28 So we are convinced that every detail of our lives is continually woven together to fit into GOD’S perfect plan of bringing good into our lives, for we are HIS lovers who have been called to fulfill HIS designed purpose. 29 For HE knew all about us before we were born and HE destined us from the beginning to share the likeness of HIS Son. This means the Son is the oldest among a vast family of brothers and sisters who will become just like Him.
30 Having determined our destiny ahead of time, HE called us to HIMSELF and transferred HIS perfect righteousness to everyone HE called. And those who possess HIS perfect righteousness HE co-glorified with HIS Son!
Don’t these Words fill you with joy? They do me. Let us be fully encouraged as:
7 Even in a time of disaster, with thousands and thousands being killed,
we will remain unscathed and unharmed.
8 we will be spectators as the wicked perish in judgment,
for they will be paid back for what they have done! (Psalm 91)
