Washing and Renewing

Tuesday, January 3rd, 2017

If we have yet to receive healing in an area of our life, we must not condemn ourselves but press in an even greater manner.  We have been subject to the world’s noise and ways for many years thus we must purge the dross which has entered in through our senses.

Paul wrote by THE SPIRIT to Titus in chapter 3:

3 For we ourselves were also once foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving various lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful and hating one another.

4 But when the kindness and the love of God our Savior toward man appeared,

5 not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit,

Again Paul wrote by THE SPIRIT in Ephesians chapter 4:

17 This I say, therefore, and testify in the Lord, that you should no longer walk as the rest of the Gentiles walk, in the futility of their mind,

20 But you have not so learned Christ, 21 if indeed you have heard Him and have been taught by Him, as the truth is in Jesus:

22 that you put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts,

23 and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, 24 and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.

Further Paul wrote by THE SPIRIT in Colossians chapter 3:

8 But now you yourselves are to put off all these: anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy language out of your mouth.

9 Do not lie to one another, since you have put off the old man with his deeds,

10 and have put on the new man who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created him,

Meditation and action of the Word is what renews our mind.  We must not be moved by what we see or hear from the world.  We must not let the testimony of the senses be our guide for they are only temporary in nature.  We must stand on the Word which is eternal and all powerful.  Which is a greater truth- our senses or the Word of FATHER?  The Nature, Life, and Spirit of FATHER dwells in us so must become fully persuaded that these Aspects of FATHER are greater than any temporary condition experienced by our senses.  This includes sickness, disease, affliction, and oppression.

We are wired to believe anything if we hear or see it enough and it matters not if it is true or false.  Man believed the earth was flat until he found that it was a globe.  Men protected that false view and threatened the life of those who would say otherwise.  Let us not hold on to anything that is not of FATHER but be willing to discard any thought or doctrine which contradicts HIS Word.  Most of us have much washing and renewing to do for our exposure to the world has been significant and the world continues to flood our senses with its agenda of death and destruction.  Let us purse life and restoration by renewing our mind.

Absolute Truth

Monday, January 2nd, 2017

By THE SPIRIT the Apostle wrote in 1 Peter chapter 2:

24  Jesus who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed.

This verse is the essence of absolute Truth and in order for us to embrace our healing to the fullest, we must believe this verse beyond anything our sense knowledge tells us.  When we embrace the absolute Truth in healing our bodies will begin responding and line up with the Word.  The pain of our affliction may be screaming out and demanding our attention but that does not negate FATHER’S Divine Intent to heal us.  The woman who suffered for eighteen years had already exhausted the knowledge of the physicians of that day.  She had nothing to lose but to seek the healing power of Jesus.

The Beloved Disciple wrote by THE SPIRIT in John chapter 20:

30 And truly Jesus did many other signs in the presence of His disciples, which are not written in this book;

31 but these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name.

The New Testament was specifically given to us that we might believe the absolute Truth of Jesus Christ being the Son of GOD AND that we might have life in His Name.  We don’t doubt our salvation yet receiving healing is a challenge due to the opposition we see and hear challenging this Truth.  We must overcome the world and its propaganda and stand on the Truth of FATHER’S Word to us.

The Word says we were healed, not will be healed thus we need to get into perfect harmony with HIS Word in this area.  Jesus has already healed us so we need to thank Him and praise Him for the work He has already done.  When we accepted salvation, we did not need to wait on some act on His part for He had already gone to the cross for all mankind.  The issue is our full acceptance of the absolute Truth of healing in our lives and this is done by renewing our minds.  Paul wrote by THE SPIRIT in Romans chapter 12:

1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.

2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

The world is constantly placing pressure on us to conform to it yet Paul by THE SPIRIT instructs us not to conform to the world.  Let us focus on renewing our mind so that we be transformed into living according to FATHER’S Divine Intent.  As we continue to immerse ourselves in HIS Word in the area of need, our minds will be transformed and our bodies will respond in like manner.  The perfect will of FATHER is for us to be fully healed and restored.  In Luke chapter 17 Jesus encounter ten lepers:

12 Then as He entered a certain village, there met Him ten men who were lepers, who stood afar off.

13 And they lifted up their voices and said, “Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!”

14 So when He saw them, He said to them, “Go, show yourselves to the priests.” And so it was that as they went, they were cleansed.

15 And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, returned, and with a loud voice glorified God,

16 and fell down on his face at His feet, giving Him thanks. And he was a Samaritan.

17 So Jesus answered and said, “Were there not ten cleansed? But where are the nine?

18 Were there not any found who returned to give glory to God except this foreigner?”

19 And He said to him, “Arise, go your way. Your faith has made you well (whole).”

The nine lepers received healing but the one who returned to praise and glorify FATHER was made whole.  Jesus spoke the same Word to all ten but the words and actions of one received a different level of restoration.  Let us praise and glorify FATHER for HIS absolute Truth of healing in our lives and no longer conform to the world’s standard of living.  How long will it take to renew our mind where the absolute Truth supersedes the world’s influence?  I would say it is unique for each of us.  We must plant seeds in our hearts and minds for the fruit we wish to harvest.  If you continually plant seeds of the world’s opinions, you will reap accordingly.  Remove any and all hindrances to your healing.  Unforgiveness and greed are at or near the top of the list.

Active or Passive?

Sunday, January 1st, 2017

Mental assent is to express acceptance or agreeing with the Word but not acting on The Word.  Mental assent is passive whereas faith is active.  To act upon HIS Word is to do HIS Will with the same intent as FATHER’S Divine Intent of Love.  In Matthew chapter 9 Jesus spoke:

4 But Jesus, knowing their thoughts, said, “Why do you think evil in your hearts?

5 For which is easier, to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven you,’ or to say, ‘Arise and walk’?

6 But that you may know that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins”—then He said to the paralytic, “Arise, take up your bed, and go to your house.”

7 And he arose and departed to his house.

8 Now when the multitudes saw it, they marveled and glorified God, who had given such power to men.

Jesus’ acts of healing glorified FATHER.  If we are doing nothing are we glorifying FATHER?  A passive Christian is not a light unto the world but an active Believer is, so let us reaffirm our commitment to be active on behalf of the Gospel.  In John chapter 15 Jesus spoke:

1 “I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser.

2 Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit.

3 You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you.

4 Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.”

The word abide means to be connected with, to depend on, and continue in.  In 2017, let us purpose to produce good fruit daily on HIS behalf.  Let us break out of custom and tradition with the expectation FATHER will reveal HIMSELF in a greater way than ever before.  The life flows through the vine to the branch with the purpose of producing good fruit for other to eat.  Let us break out of our circle of comfort and minister among a greater expanse of people.  Let us plant seeds of Love in every person we come in contact, especially our enemies.  Those seeds will begin a purging process as they grow in their life.

Jesus further spoke:

5 “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.

6 If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned.

7 If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.

8 By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples.”

Our active works in Christ will glorify FATHER.  As we immerse ourselves in HIS Love and become the outward expression of HIS Love, people will see Jesus in us and His power will flow through us to minister healing and restoration in their life.  Every one of us should expand his or her “tent stakes” and actively grow in ministry to others this year.  Unproductive branches are ultimately removed and cast into the fire.  Let our works glorify FATHER and our fruitfulness will increase in order that more may eat of the good fruit.  “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.”
