HIS Eyes Are On The Righteous

Wednesday, September 14th, 2016

By THE SPIRIT Peter wrote in chapter 3 of his first epistle:

8 Finally, all of you be of one mind, having compassion for one another; love as brothers, be tenderhearted, be courteous;

9 not returning evil for evil or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary blessing, knowing that you were called to this, that you may inherit a blessing.

10 For

“He who would love life

And see good days, Let him refrain his tongue from evil,

And his lips from speaking deceit.

11 Let him turn away from evil and do good;

Let him seek peace and pursue it.

12 For the eyes of the LORD are on the righteous,

And His ears are open to their prayers;

But the face of the LORD is against those who do evil.”

FATHER has called us to walk in harmony with one another rather than look for what may divide us.  Each of us are at a different level of maturity and those who are more mature are called to be longsuffering with those who are still struggling in their walk.  We must be vigilant in our thoughts and words not to repay evil with evil but instead be compassionate with one another for we are all in this together.  Instead of repaying evil with evil, bless-that’s your job, to bless. You’ll be a blessing and also receive a blessing from FATHER.  Yes, we will reap what we sow.

Jesus proclaimed those with a pure heart shall see FATHER and FATHER’S Eyes are on those who have a pure heart.  Since we speak out of the abundance of our heart, we will no longer allow deceit to come forth from our lips.  We must avoid any words which promote evil.  Instead let our words promote Love and life.

In order to seek peace and pursue it, our action is required.  We must take the initiative concerning others for the mature must lead the weak toward the Light of the world.  As we walk accordingly, FATHER will hear our prayers for HIS Eyes remain fixed upon us.  James by THE SPIRIT wrote in chapter 5:

13 Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing psalms.

14 Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord.

15 And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.

16 Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.

There are those who worry when the challenges arise and there are those who lead people through the challenges we face.  Let us rise up to the standard of our Elder Brother and lead the sheep into still waters.  FATHER is not far from us but intently gazing on our acts and supporting us as we walk in Love.  Let us be fervent in all that we do and not let our Love grow cold.

The Second Witness, Third if it is critical

Tuesday, September 13th, 2016

Wisdom spoke in Proverbs chapter 18:

17 The first one to plead his cause seems right,

Until his neighbor comes and examines him.

As well in Proverbs 11:

14 Where there is no counsel, the people fall;

But in the multitude of counselors there is safety.

In Matthew chapter 18 Jesus spoke:

15 “Moreover if your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone. If he hears you, you have gained your brother.

16 But if he will not hear, take with you one or two more, that ‘by the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.’

17 And if he refuses to hear them, tell it to the church. But if he refuses even to hear the church, let him be to you like a heathen and a tax collector.

18 “Assuredly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.

19 “Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven.

20 For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.”

The above three passages make it perfectly clear that there are no lone rangers in the Kingdom.  In addition, when establishing Truth in a situation it is important to seek counsel from people who walk in wisdom, understanding, and knowledge.  Those people will be unbiased and will not allow falsehoods and illusions to guide you away from the Truth.

How do you know if your counselors, neighbors, or witnesses are appropriate to the matter?  Inspect their fruit.   On tax matters I ask my certified public accountant.  On legal matters, I call my attorney.  On Internet security I call my son-in=law who has multiple certifications in the area.  On cabinet repair I call my son.  On Spiritually sensitive matters I ask my wife.  If it is a life-changing matter I wait on FATHER until HE speaks on the matter.  I purpose to be led by THE SPIRIT in all matters and I do not hesitate to ask others who are gifted in the area needing clarification.  The Holy Spirit will be the third witness when you are being told something that does not seem quite right.  That is your cue to slow down and stop until HIS peace arrives.  It could simply be timing.

The world continues to bombard us with lies, illusions, and worldly perceptions but the Truth is out there.  We must protect ourselves in what we hear and see for it may not be the reality of the matter.  There are those situations which arise that require us to seek confirmation before taking action thus your second witness may be the key to finding the Truth in the matter.  There are many who are walking out their calling which qualify them to be a witness.  There are some who try to give counsel and direction in areas that have nothing to do with their calling.  They lack credibility.

You have been forewarned.

Being Generous

Monday, September 12th, 2016

By THE SPIRIT Paul wrote in Philippians chapter 4:

19 And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

20 Now to our God and Father be glory forever and ever. Amen.

If you want to fully align with FATHER and HIS Divine Intent you must mature in the area of being generous.  Unconditional Love means that you give without expecting anything in return and that is very difficult for many to attain to that level.  The reason is that you tend to judge the recipient and find ways to compromise being generous.  Greed enters in.

Giving exceeds worldly wisdom’s ability to process its benefits.  Why?  Because man is always attempting to assess cause and effect but man has no way to measure FATHER’S Love and willingness to be generous HIMSELF.  For FATHER so loved the world HE first gave then received.  Love is “first” cause.

A seed can turn into a forest.  The law of sowing and reaping says you first must sow to reap and if you sow sparingly you will reap sparingly.  Paul speaks to this Truth by THE SPIRIT in 2 Corinthians chapter 9:

6 But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.

7 So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver.

8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.

9 As it is written:

“He has dispersed abroad,

He has given to the poor;

His righteousness endures forever.”

10 Now may He who supplies seed to the sower, and bread for food, supply and multiply the seed you have sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness,

11 while you are enriched in everything for all liberality, which causes thanksgiving through us to God.

There is must to do with respect to Kingdom business.  Many will be onlookers while others will immerse themselves in Kingdom business and affect people’s lives.  There will be those who abuse the Gospel for personal gain but that reality exists in virtually every endeavor.  However, FATHER knows men’s hearts and their intent toward giving.  If you give with a pure heart unto men, FATHER will be the rewarder of your giving.  If you expect the benefit to come from the recipient then you are operating in a lower form of conditional love.  Even the world understands that dynamic.

Giving increases the fruits of your righteousness and fruit is intended to be shared and consumed.  Our mission is to change people’s lives, not simply tickle their ears with mental and logical acrobatics.  How many of us look for ways to give versus looking for ways to receive from others.  If we ever want to walk as fully mature Sons and Daughters, we must overcome greed and root it out of our hearts that we might be known for our generosity.

The Divine Intent of FATHER was given to us in Malachi chapter 3:

10  "Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, so that there may be food in My house, and test Me now in this," says the LORD of hosts, "if I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you a blessing until it overflows.”

It cannot be made any clearer than this.

Promoting Fellowship

Sunday, September 11th, 2016

This is the reality, we need each other and every one of us is diverse and at different levels of maturity with a unique set of needs.  In order for us to promote fellowship we must seek what we have in common rather than be divided and isolated.  Consider what causes people to distance themselves from others.  Religious doctrine is at or near the top of the list.  If a man is truly fully confident in his relationship with FATHER, he can fellowship with just about anyone.  Jesus proved that when He went to the house of Zacchaeus found in Luke 19:

5 And when Jesus came to the place, He looked up and saw him, and said to him, “Zacchaeus, make haste and come down, for today I must stay at your house.”

6 So he made haste and came down, and received Him joyfully.

7 But when they saw it, they all complained, saying, “He has gone to be a guest with a man who is a sinner.”

8 Then Zacchaeus stood and said to the Lord, “Look, Lord, I give half of my goods to the poor; and if I have taken anything from anyone by false accusation, I restore fourfold.”

9 And Jesus said to him, “Today salvation has come to this house, because he also is a son of Abraham;

10 for the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.”

Clearly the disciples had an issue with Zacchaeus but Jesus did not.  How can we be a light to others if we don’t attempt to reach out to them?  Instead, many isolate themselves because they are afraid that their own doctrine might be challenged and they are more interested in protecting what they think is reality than walking in it.  Most people’s doctrines only change when in a crisis their doctrine does not deliver them or restore peace in the midst of chaos.  Any thought that promotes division, separation, or isolation is contrary to Agape Love.  Jesus embraced the world of sinners knowing His relationship with FATHER superseded any challenge to His beliefs thus He was comfortable in all settings and with any group.  People simply need to quit judging and begin embracing.

In Colossians chapter 3, Paul wrote by THE SPIRIT:

11 where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcised nor uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave nor free, but Christ is all and in all.

12 Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering;

13 bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do.

14 But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection.

15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful.

16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

17 And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.

Isn’t time to set aside differences with others and reach out in order to be a light toward a dying world?  We don’t need to worry about others’ doctrines but simply find what we have in common and acknowledge that we are all at different levels of maturity.  Jesus was at the highest state of maturity thus He could break bread with anyone.  We must meet people where they are at rather than seek only those who fulfill some need we may have.  As we mature in our relationship with FATHER, HE will satisfy our souls with peace thus we need not look to others to do so.  Jesus was in constant giving mode and FATHER calls upon us to rise to that same state.  After all, Love is the basis and reason for everything.

Holy, Holy, Holy

Saturday, September 10th, 2016

By THE Spirit the Beloved Disciple John wrote in Revelation chapter 4:

8 The four living creatures, each having six wings, were full of eyes around and within. And they do not rest day or night, saying:

“Holy, holy, holy,

Lord God Almighty,

Who was and is and is to come!”

9 Whenever the living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to Him who sits on the throne, who lives forever and ever, 10 the twenty-four elders fall down before Him who sits on the throne and worship Him who lives forever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying:

11 “You are worthy, O Lord,

To receive glory and honor and power;

For You created all things,

And by Your will they exist and were created.”

As I was praying back in the mid 1990’s early in the morning I was telling FATHER, “GOD this and GOD that…” and HE suddenly stopped me and said “ MY Name is not GOD, It is LORD GOD ALMIGHTY or FATHER but you choose.  Just quit calling me GOD”.  That was an unexpected correction to say the least.  Later, HE had me read the above passage as a reminder.  The setting in FATHER’S Throne Room is magnificent and we must keep HIS Holiness before us at all times as we reverence HIM in all that we do.  Let us be exemplary representatives of HIM on this earth.   Simply dwell on HIS Majesty today for I believe that is the most important alignment we can make here on this earth.  Let our hearts be focused on Above.

“FATHER, I do thank YOU for revealing YOURSELF to me.  I ask that nothing hinder me from receiving the fullness of a relationship with YOU and may I be fruitful in every good work, pleasing and exalting YOU among men.  Amen”

By the way, I chose FATHER.

The Expectation of Fruit

Friday, September 9th, 2016

In Matthew 21 it is written:

18 Now in the morning, as He returned to the city, He was hungry.

19 And seeing a fig tree by the road, He came to it and found nothing on it but leaves, and said to it, “Let no fruit grow on you ever again.” Immediately the fig tree withered away.

Jesus had just cleansed the Temple the day before and spent the night in Bethany.  He made it quite clear that men were not reverencing the House of Prayer and had turned it into a den of thieves.  This is one aspect of walking in Love people have a hard time with since they have been led to believe that Love will never evoke judgment.  However we must embrace all aspects of Love, even those words we don’t want to hear.  Instead of rejecting words meant for discipline and correction, we should embrace them and change.  If we think we have arrived at the fullness of maturity on this very day… think again.

Jesus was subjected to like passions as we are yet He did not submit to them.  He suffered hunger and sorrow as He walked the earth so we have no excuse when it comes to following the commands of Jesus.  All the sins of the world were heaped on Him so He does understand our sufferings and situations actually better than we do.

People like to restrict the meaning of the fig tree to refer only to Israel in the above verse but we know Scripture is multifaceted and draws parallels to the personal level.  Men often suffer times of judgment in days versus countries suffering in years.  The point is that Jesus expects fruit from a fruit tree and if it doesn’t produce good fruit it is no longer needed for its purpose was not fulfilled.  There is a time allowed for immaturity but ultimately we should be producing fruit for the Kingdom.  If not, we will be judged in a righteous manner.

20 And when the disciples saw it, they marveled, saying, “How did the fig tree wither away so soon?”

21 So Jesus answered and said to them, “Assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but also if you say to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ it will be done.

22 And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.”

Jesus’ judgment directed toward the fig tree was immediate.  When the time comes where we are reckoned to be mature we become subject to FATHER’S righteous judgment.  Yes, HE is longsuffering but there comes a point when we should be fulfilling our purpose given to us when we were formed in the womb.

Jesus’ words had the power of faith backing them when He spoke to that fig tree.  The power and authority from Heaven was and is in full force to fulfill FATHER’S Divine Intent.  Our words of faith will have that same power and authority when we are fully aligned with FATHER’S Divine Intent expressed through us by HIS SPIRIT.  There is nothing too big which cannot be changed in a moment when the Word originating in Heaven are spoken on earth.  HIS Ways supersede every aspect of existence on earth.

Jesus promotes prayer and communion with FATHER.  Faith comes as we pray and commune with FATHER for our prayers acknowledge our relative position to HIM and speaks to the reality that FATHER has the power and authority over all we ask.  Jesus always directs our attention to FATHER for answers to our problems.  Paul wrote in Philippians chapter 4 by THE SPIRIT:

6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;

7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

As we pray and seek guidance from FATHER and respond accordingly our fruit will come forth.  We must keep our focus on HIM and guard our hearts from the world’s impurities.  As we do, our fruit will come forth for all men and women to eat and be nourished.  Paul continued:

8 Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.

9 The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you.

There will be an abundance of fruit coming forth in our lives when FATHER is with us.

The Cutting Away

Thursday, September 8th, 2016

To be spiritually circumcised means to be separated from the unclean world and dedicated to FATHER, the word is transferred to denote the extinguishing of lusts and the removal of sins.  Is a heart matter which is internal.  Paul wrote by THE SPIRIT in Romans chapter 2:

28 For he is not a Jew who is one outwardly, nor is circumcision that which is outward in the flesh;

29 but he is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the Spirit, not in the letter; whose praise is not from men but from God.

Each of us knows whether we conducting ourselves with a pure intent of Love.  We know whether we are manipulating others or sacrificing ourselves for their benefit.  We know whether we are constantly exalting ourselves in the eyes of man or giving no place for such actions and thoughts.  Thoughts will come which are contrary to Love but the question is whether we embrace those thoughts and dwell on them.  The world bombards us with words and pictures in an attempt to get us to see life in a worldly, lustful fashion.  Our Job is to cast down vain imaginations.

In Matthew chapter 15, Jesus spoke:

7 “Hypocrites! Well did Isaiah prophesy about you, saying:

8 ‘These people draw near to Me with their mouth,

And honor Me with their lips,

But their heart is far from Me.

9 And in vain they worship Me,

Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.’

10 When He had called the multitude to Himself, He said to them, “Hear and understand: 11 Not what goes into the mouth defiles a man; but what comes out of the mouth, this defiles a man.”

Jesus Who is the essence of Divine Love called the Pharisees and others “Hypocrites”.  Love corrects when it is necessary to do so.  Cutting away the flesh is not a pleasant task whether it be physical or Spiritual and it is time to get serious about our walk IN HIM.  If our actions are not derived out of a heart of Love, we need to get the scalpel out and do some more cutting away of the heart.  Talk is cheap.  The question is whether or not our actions and words are based on Love or not.  Are we putting on an outward show in order to impress others or are we being led by THE SPIRIT?  FATHER knows whether or not we too are hypocrites.  If so, it is time to repent and walk away from the ways of the world.

Jesus continued:

16 So Jesus said, “Are you also still without understanding?

17 Do you not yet understand that whatever enters the mouth goes into the stomach and is eliminated?

18 But those things which proceed out of the mouth come from the heart, and they defile a man.

19 For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies.

20 These are the things which defile a man, but to eat with unwashed hands does not defile a man.”

Jesus made it quite clear that the external is not the issue in the above passage, it is the heart!  Put away evil thoughts today.  We must cut away anything that does not glorify FATHER in our heart and let us become a blessing to others in both Word and deed.  We need to walk with circumcised hearts of Love.

Walk In The SPIRIT Not Legalism

Wednesday, September 7th, 2016

By THE SPIRIT Paul wrote in Colossians chapter 2:

20 Therefore, if you died with Christ from the basic principles of the world, why, as though living in the world, do you subject yourselves to regulations—

21 “Do not touch, do not taste, do not handle,”

22 which all concern things which perish with the using—according to the commandments and doctrines of men?

23 These things indeed have an appearance of wisdom in self-imposed religion,false humility, and neglect of the body, but are of no value against the indulgence of the flesh.

How many rules and regulations does the Federal Government have on the books today?  Thousands upon thousands and they are intended to rule external behavior among men because they do not know how to affect the population’s internal character and intent.  Thus they rule by force if necessary.  Jesus Christ has a superior way for us to live for we are to walk by a higher Law which promotes Love and life for all.

Jesus did not need to spend decades in the flesh in order to compel us to live according to FATHER’S Divine Will and purpose.  Three and a half years was sufficient to change the world and show us The Way.  As time and conditions change we need not muster up a new set of rules for we only need to be led by HIS SPIRIT as we are confronted with the challenges we face.  We need not memorize the 613 commandments and statutes found in Scripture but simply focus on guiding our affairs with the Commandments of Love.  Gee, that simplifies everything.

We need to quit “sweating” the little things and focus on the bigger picture of ministering Love and life to mankind.  Let us become the example people look to when wanting to change their course and look toward the Light of the world.  Yes, we will repel those who wish to dwell in darkness and resist the light but there are those who are fed up with the frustrations they consistently face.  Those are the people looking for a solution to life’s problems and we should be the ones they are drawn to for help.

In Isaiah chapter 55, FATHER spoke:

8 “For My thoughts are not your thoughts,

Nor are your ways My ways,” says the LORD.

9 “For as the heavens are higher than the earth,

So are My ways higher than your ways,

And My thoughts than your thoughts.

10 “For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven,

And do not return there,

But water the earth,

And make it bring forth and bud,

That it may give seed to the sower

And bread to the eater,

11 So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth;

It shall not return to Me void,

But it shall accomplish what I please,

And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.”

FATHER  lays it all out for us- HIS Way is life, blessing, and fulfillment if only we seek HIM and walk in HIS higher ways.  HE will not instruct us to be lawless in any manner although HIS Ways may conflict with man’s laws which seek to exploit or enslave.  Paul was put into prison but it was only temporary.  Peter was also confined in prison but delivered and released by an angel sent by FATHER.  As we walk by THE SPIRIT, FATHER will see to it that nothing will restrain or confine us from fulfilling our purpose.  As Love spreads throughout the earth, most of man’s laws will no longer apply.

The Warning Concerning Your Work

Tuesday, September 6th, 2016

Our works will be tested by fire.  By THE SPIRIT, Paul wrote:

10 According to the grace of God which was given to me, as a wise master builder I have laid the foundation, and another builds on it. But let each one take heed how he builds on it.

11 For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

12 Now if anyone builds on this foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw,

13 each one’s work will become clear; for the Day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one’s work, of what sort it is.

14 If anyone’s work which he has built on it endures, he will receive a reward.

15 If anyone’s work is burned, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire.

16 Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?

17 If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are.

Jesus Christ is our foundation and FATHER is WHO laid the cornerstone by which we have an unmovable reference point in all matters.  We must never let that reality be distant from our focus and consciousness.  This is why I esteem the Words of Jesus for His Words were concise Wisdom, understanding, and knowledge for our lives.  All other doctrines contain and are impacted by man’s opinion and will not survive the fire of testing.  This is why we must keep our focus on being led by THE SPIRIT and hearing FATHER’S Voice just as Jesus did.  He is our best example of how to live our lives.

In John 15 Jesus spoke:

7 “If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.

8 By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples.

9 As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love.

10 If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love.”

Fruit is the result of the culmination of resources responding to intent.  The intent of the seed is to ultimately produce fruit for consumption and in turn produce more seed.  Hence one seed can result in producing a forest.  The process can be cut of at any time so we must be vigilant in watching over each stage of progress and never forget where our foundation lies.  The adversary will attempt to counterfeit the Truth even by one degree if we allow our Love to grow cold.  Once off course, our works become subject to being burned up by the Fiery Word.

Many have allowed their Love to grow cold.  They did not set out to do such a thing but they let the cares of the world creep in and take their focus away from our Foundation- Jesus Christ.  The brightness of the day will declare the validity of our works.  Some of those works will be burned up because they simply don’t matter to the Kingdom.  Will our works endure?  If they are the result of Love they surely will.

We must keep in mind we are the temple of Our Heavenly Father and thus we are Holy.  We must protect ourselves from defilement at all costs.  Let us reject all thoughts found to be impure or of no lasting value.  In Philippians chapter 4, Paul wrote:

8 Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.

We must keep our hearts pure and Love will be central to everything we do.  Those works will pass the test when all works are exposed by fire.  If we are motivated by Love we can be assured of our reward by Our Loving FATHER.  We will all suffer some loss by works arising out of intentions which ware not properly founded on Love.  Let us heed this warning today.

HE Is Worthy Of Reverence

Monday, September 5th, 2016

Proverbs 23:

17 Do not let your heart envy sinners, But live in the fear of the LORD always.

18 Surely there is a future, And your hope will not be cut off.

It is critical we be ever mindful of being reverent toward FATHER for it is childish and irresponsible to walk in any other manner.  Our future is dependent upon our priorities today and giving up that future for temporary pleasures has no merit whatsoever.  Let the wisdom found in hearing HIS Voice be our guide.  Notice that little word “always” which means- all, the whole, every, totality, everything.  There are no exceptions to this admonition.  We are not observers watching life go by but we are truly integral to FATHER’S Plan and we must take our purpose seriously.

The life of a sinner is made up of constant turmoil and chaos whether he admits it or not.  There is a constant craving to have that emptiness filled with something thus the sinner looks to the external to fill the internal.  It just won’t work.  Some end up succumbing to their addictions whereas others take their own lives.  Yet others immerse themselves in the make believe in order to find some solace.  Correctional judgment comes upon people to wake them up to their path of destruction.  Sometimes it is mild yet other times extreme measures are required to break up the ground in the heart:

13 Do not hold back discipline from the child, Although you strike him with the rod, he will not die.

14 You shall strike him with the rod and rescue his soul from Sheol.

Correction is a necessary part of life and rather than submitting to the sensual wisdom of men, we must trust FATHER to lead us and guide us.  If you see someone heading toward a cliff which leads to certain death, do you take extreme measures to save them or do you concern yourself with their feelings?  There are times we must sacrifice the short term for the long term and “everlasting life” IS the long term view.

Proverbs 13:

24 He who withholds his rod hates his son,

But he who loves him disciplines him diligently.

25 The righteous has enough to satisfy his appetite,

But the stomach of the wicked is in need.

We are in need of diligent discipline by FATHER and if we embrace that discipline in reverence then there will be less need in the future for we will become like HIM.  Let us not complain about our situation but look for what needs to be learned in regard to where we are at.  FATHER is consistently teaching and correcting us so we will have our days lengthened and fulfill our calling.  Those who resist HIM have chosen otherwise and will suffer the judgment associated with the hardness of heart.

Let us begin our day by acknowledging FATHER, HIS Son, and HIS Holy Spirit for to do so is life to those who embrace this act and intent of reverence.  Let our hearts be pliable and fertile ground for HIS Word to produce good fruit to be eaten by all those we encounter.  Let us set aside the foolishness of a child in need of correction and let us become mature for service to HIS Mandate of Love.  Let us focus on HIS priorities rather than some temporary, soulish endeavor.  In the end HE will satisfy our soul:

Isaiah 58:11 The LORD will guide you continually,

And satisfy your soul in drought,

And strengthen your bones;

You shall be like a watered garden,

And like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail.
