STEP FIVE

ASK JESUS TO HEAL YOU AND BELIEVE HE HEARS YOU

Luke 11:9 “So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.

10 For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.

11 If a son asks for bread from any father among you, will he give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent instead of a fish?

12 Or if he asks for an egg, will he offer him a scorpion?

13 If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!”

If you have accepted Christ as your personal Savior, you have become a child of GOD, and HE is your FATHER. You are not a beggar! FATHER wants you to come to HIM with confidence as a child comes to its loving parents. To pray with faith does not mean to beg and plead for healing. Since you know FATHER has promised to heal you, and wants to heal you, you only have to ask and believe. Your Heavenly Father derives great pleasure from seeing you well, happy, strong & healthy. Just as any earthly parents want the best for their child. Do you enjoy seeing children suffer?  Neither does your Father enjoy seeing you suffer. FATHER invites believers to come to the throne of grace with confidence.

Our Compassionate High Priest:

Hebrews 4:14 Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession.

15 For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin.

16 Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

Jesus promised in John 15:

5 “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.

6 If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned.

7 If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. 8 By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples.”

The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears are attentive to their prayers:

1 Peter 3:12

“For the eyes of the LORD are on the righteous,
And His ears
are open to their prayers;
But the face of the LORD
is against those who do evil.”

You have been made righteous in FATHER’S sight by faith in Christ. (Ro. 3:21-22) So when you pray, asking HIM to do what you know HE has promised to do; you can be certain HE hears your prayer.  We need to really believe that! HE is interested in you, cares about you, and it is HIS pleasure to answer your request. John wrote in his first epistle:

14 Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.

15 And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.

Prayer for Healing:

FATHER, I thank you that you are THE LORD my Healer. I am thankful to know that your plan for my redemption INCLUDES physical healing. Thank you for your infinite love for me. Now that I understand that Jesus not only suffered the full punishment of my sins, but He also bore all the consequences of my sinful nature. Now I know that Jesus took upon Himself my diseases, and suffered my pains; my physical diseases, so that I can be completely healed. His body was tortured. He was beaten, bruised, and torn for me. All my sickness was laid on Him, so I could be free. I believe that, I accept that. FATHER, I respond to your love, I accept YOUR LIFE into my life, and I receive YOUR miracle ZOE LIFE in me right now.  I welcome YOUR manifested Presence, peace, life & health into my life. YOUR Son bore my sins, and my diseases. Now, I am free of them. When YOUR Son suffered my sicknesses… by His wounds I was healed. The grace and life of Christ lives in me, and heals me of sin and disease. I am saved. I am healed. I am free. I now know Satan has lost all power over me. Therefore, no sin can dominate or condemn me, and no sickness has the right to stay in my body. My body is my FATHER’S house. Jesus, You are Lord! Your life is mine. Your health is mine. I am saved, and I am healed: Every symptom of my old life; my old sins and mistakes, my old pains & sicknesses must now disappear, because the Life and Power of Christ are healing, and making me whole now. From today, I shall enjoy health, because YOU are my life, my all. YOU are with me and in me now. Thank you Lord. Amen!

Step Four

July 10th, 2015

UNDERSTAND THAT YOUR PHYSICAL HEALING IS INCLUDED IN SALVATION

Psalm 103:1 Bless the LORD, O my soul;

And all that is within me, bless His holy name!

2 Bless the LORD, O my soul,

And forget not all His benefits:

3 Who forgives all your iniquities,

Who heals all your diseases,

4 Who redeems your life from destruction,

Who crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies,

Jesus the Healer, is Jesus the Savior: There’s no separation. The surest way to receive health for your body, is to accept the Healer into your heart. After you received Christ as Savior, you can now receive His healing for your body. He wants to forgive your sins AND heal your body!

Some people pray for healing, but refuse to accept Christ as Savior, and get nothing. However, others while thanking Christ for saving them, are healed in their bodies before they even ask! FATHER’S order for blessing is given in Psalm 103:3:  Who forgives all your sins, and heals all your diseases.  Jesus first forgave the paralytic’s sins, THEN He healed him.

John 3:3  Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

Jesus said, You must be born again.  This is the miracle of the New Birth. Christ enters your heart and makes you a new creature because He lives within you. We accept Him, He is a person, not a religion.  He is a reality, not a philosophy or a doctrine. As a result we are certain we Are Saved.  We should also be certain that He will heal us as well.

Acts 16:29 Then he called for a light, ran in, and fell down trembling before Paul and Silas.

30 And he brought them out and said, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?”

31 So they said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.”

32 Then they spoke the word of the Lord to him and to all who were in his house.

33 And he took them the same hour of the night and washed their stripes. And immediately he and all his family were baptized.

Jesus said, Those who believe (the Gospel) and are baptized will be saved. (Mark 16:16)  Paul said in Romans 10:

9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

And Peter spoke on the Day of Pentecost:

Acts 2:And it shall come to pass
That whoever calls on the name of the LORD
Shall be saved.

If you confess with your mouth…Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.  Whoever calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. Do what these Scriptures say to do, and you will receive their promise. You will know that you have received Christ, and been born again.  Trust that Christ suffered enough to pay for all of your sins AND sicknesses. Those you have committed, and all those you may ever commit. Jesus paid it all. Trust that He was perfect; that His Blood was sinless. Trust that He was innocent, so that He could be your Substitute. Trust that nothing else needs to be done, no further price needs to be paid, no further penalty needs to be suffered, no good works, no offerings or sacrifices need to be added to what Christ did for you. Trust that God counts you righteous now, because of your faith in what Christ has done for you. Trust that He did ENOUGH.

I BELIEVE Jesus suffered the penalty of MY sins, and He paid the full price for my sins.  Jesus loved me too much to let me die for my own sins. Even though I was separated from FATHER by my sins,  HE and HIS Son loved me so much that HIS Plan was put in place to pay MY debt in full. His precious Blood was shed for the remission of my sins. Now that I trust in His sacrifice for me, I am free. No sin can condemn me, so I can NEVER be judged or condemned for my sins.

I accept HIS gift of righteousness, mercy, and love. I am a new creature, reborn from above with HIS Divine life in me. I TRUST that HIS Blood cleanses me of every sin in my life. I TRUST that HE did ENOUGH for ME, and that no further price needs to be paid. HE paid it all. I will never try to pay for my sins, never claim any merit, or offer any good works to have my past sins forgiven, or to be saved.

HE did ENOUGH Lord, 2,000 years ago. I am saved, because of what HE did for me. Nothing can ever improve my salvation. By your Blood, I am clean NOW. I have your life NOW. I am saved NOW. From this moment, I will follow you, and share the Good News of what you have done, so that others can receive your life too. Thank you Lord for my full salvation.  Don’t you think HE is as committed to heal us as He was and is to save us?

Step Three

July 9th, 2015

FATHER WANTS YOU WELL. ONLY SATAN, THE ADVERSARY WANTS YOU TO SUFFER.

Sickness comes from the devil, not from Our Heavenly  Father. Erroneous teaching has led countless good people to suffer needlessly, and die early because they believed FATHER put their sickness upon them. They suffer in patience, and never seek healing. The Bible says Satan…afflicted Job with painful sores.

Job 2:7 So Satan went out from the presence of the LORD, and struck Job with painful boils from the sole of his foot to the crown of his head.

Our Heavenly Father is in the healing business and does not oppose HIMSELF!

Luke 11:10 Now He was teaching in one of the synagogues on the Sabbath.

11 And behold, there was a woman who had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bent over and could in no way raise herself up.

12 But when Jesus saw her, He called her to Him and said to her, “Woman, you are loosed from your infirmity.”

13 And He laid His hands on her, and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God.

14 But the ruler of the synagogue answered with indignation, because Jesus had healed on the Sabbath; and he said to the crowd, “There are six days on which men ought to work; therefore come and be healed on them, and not on the Sabbath day.”

15 The Lord then answered him and said, “Hypocrite! Does not each one of you on the Sabbath loose his ox or donkey from the stall, and lead it away to water it?

16 So ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan has bound—think of it—for eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the Sabbath?”

17 And when He said these things, all His adversaries were put to shame; and all the multitude rejoiced for all the glorious things that were done by Him.

Jesus said the woman bent over was bound by Satan, not by Our Heavenly Father.

The blind and mute were cured when Christ cast out demons.  Similarly, the deaf and mute epileptic boy’s sickness was due to a devil, not Our Heavenly Father! Jesus cast the demon out, and the boy was perfectly cured. The Scriptures declare ALL the sick people Christ healed had been oppressed by the devil. All sickness is Satan’s oppression, not Our Heavenly Father’s work. Jesus of Nazareth went around doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil.

Matthew 12:

22 Then one was brought to Him who was demon-possessed, blind and mute; and He healed him, so that the blind and mute man both spoke and saw.

23 And all the multitudes were amazed and said, “Could this be the Son of David?”

24 Now when the Pharisees heard it they said, “This fellow does not cast out demons except by Beelzebub, the ruler of the demons.”

25 But Jesus knew their thoughts, and said to them: “Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation, and every city or house divided against itself will not stand.

26 If Satan casts out Satan, he is divided against himself. How then will his kingdom stand?

27 And if I cast out demons by Beelzebub, by whom do your sons cast them out? Therefore they shall be your judges.

28 But if I cast out demons by the Spirit of God, surely the kingdom of God has come upon you.

29 Or how can one enter a strong man’s house and plunder his goods, unless he first binds the strong man? And then he will plunder his house.

30 He who is not with Me is against Me, and he who does not gather with Me scatters abroad.

Peter proclaimed this Truth in Acts chapter 10:

34 Then Peter opened his mouth and said: “In truth I perceive that God shows no partiality.

35 But in every nation whoever fears Him and works righteousness is accepted by Him.

36 The word which God sent to the children of Israel, preaching peace through Jesus Christ—He is Lord of all—

37 that word you know, which was proclaimed throughout all Judea, and began from Galilee after the baptism which John preached:

38 how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.

Infirmities and disease only came to people after Adam & Eve doubted FATHER’S Word and Divine Intent of Love. Such things were the result of sin; personal sin, and sins committed against others. SATAN is the source of all disease.  But the Good News is: Through Christ, God has already provided the total cure… for any sin AND ANY DISEASE OR INFIRMITY. Often, in His dealings with a diseased person, Jesus simply cast out a spirit, and they were healed. Here’s why- Every disease has a life, a germ. Its source is Satan because it destroys. Jesus said, The thief (Satan) comes to steal, and kill, and destroy:

John 10:10  “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.”

The germ causes the disease to grow just like the germ of life at conception caused us to grow, and become a human body. When that germ, or life, leaves our body, then our body will die. It decays and returns to dust. Likewise, when the spirit of a disease leaves, the disease dies, and it will decay and disappear. Those who have received the fullness of Christ and have become one of FATHER’S mature Sons have power (authority) over the spirit of the devil who brings disease. HE gave them power and authority to drive out all demons, and to cure all manner of disease.  Jesus made it quite clear in the Gospel of Luke:

Luke 9:1  Then He called His twelve disciples together and gave them power and authority over all demons, and to cure diseases.

2 He sent them to preach the kingdom of God and to heal the sick.

10:9  And heal the sick there, and say to them, ‘The kingdom of God has come near to you.’

10:19  “Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

20 Nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rather rejoice because your names are written in heaven.”

In His Name we have absolute authority to command the life of disease to leave the body of one who trusts in Christ. It must obey us. When it leaves, the disease dies, and the effects vanish. For example, a cancer has life in it. That life is evil, of the devil, because it destroys and kills. As long as that life is there, the cancer will continue its work of destruction, but when the life of the cancer is commanded to leave, in Jesus’ Name, it must go. Then the cancer is dead. It will decay, and be removed, and the sick person recovers.

Jesus said of true believers:

Mk. 16:15 And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.

16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.

17 And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues;

18 they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

When you understand what the Scriptures clearly teach about sickness and disease, you now can align yourself with FATHER’S Divine Intent.  Sickness and disease does not dwell in HIS midst, and as you take on HIS Character, your body will respond as well.  Put your trust in Christ.

Step Two to Healing

July 8th, 2015

KNOW GOD’S PROMISES TO HEAL YOU

Often religious theologians do much harm by making a doctrine of Scripture, when it is meant to be read as though Christ was talking to us. The Holy Bible is God’s Word, His voice to us. To treat the Word as though it were just a book is a serious mistake. Read it as though God was physically present, and speaking to you. Give it the attention you would give Christ, and trust in it. The only sound basis for solid faith is to trust in the absolute integrity of God’s written Word. The Holy Bible is the will, and voice of God to you. Bank on it. Accept that healing is part of Christ’s work today, and know that His promises to heal in the Scriptures are for YOU. Do you think God would keep His Word? If He promised to heal you personally, do you believe He would do it? Of course! God declares; I am the Lord who heals you. (Exodus 15:26)

By his wounds you have been healed.

1 Peter 2:24 24 who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed.

God’s Promises are for you as much as for anyone and you should accept that Truth. Jesus said, You may ask me for ANYTHING in His name, character, and intent… and according to FATHER’S Word, and HE WILL DO IT according to John 14:

12 “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.

13 And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

14 If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.

And further consider the following Psalm-

Ps. 103:1 Bless the LORD, O my soul;

And all that is within me, bless His holy name!

2 Bless the LORD, O my soul,

And forget not all His benefits:

3 Who forgives all your iniquities,

Who heals all your diseases,

4 Who redeems your life from destruction,

Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies,

5 Who satisfies your mouth with good things,

So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

Do not doubt; Believe FATHER’S Word, claim His promises in sincere prayer and let HIS Truth prevail over the temporal.  After all, HE designed us in perfect fashion and knows how to fully restore us back to health.

1st Step to Healing

July 7th, 2015

KNOW THAT JESUS HEALS TODAY

During Bible times, Christ healed the sick. Every sick person who asked Him to heal them was healed by God’s power. Jesus’ power is available to you now just as it was in Bible days. Here’s why… GOD said, I am the Lord who heals you.

Exodus 15:26   “If you diligently heed the voice of the LORD your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the LORD who heals you.”

Malachi 3:6  “For I am the LORD, I do not change;
Therefore you are not consumed, O sons of Jacob.”

JESUS CHRIST healed sick people, and He’s never changed.

Heb. 13:8  Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

Jesus sent his DISCIPLES to heal, and a true disciple of Christ follows His command today just as in New Testament times. If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples.

John 8:31 Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed.

32 And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”

Healing miracles occurred in the EARLY CHURCH, and the true CHURCH has never changed. Jesus commanded the twelve to instruct ALL believers to do what they did… Teach them to obey everything I have commanded you as spoken in Matthew 28:

18 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.

19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen

Jesus authorized ALL BELIEVERS in all countries to lay hands on the sick, promising that they WILL get well.  Mark states it like this in chapter 16:

14 Later He appeared to the eleven as they sat at the table; and He rebuked their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they did not believe those who had seen Him after He had risen.

15 And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.

16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.

17 And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues;

18 they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

True believers have never changed The same Holy Spirit who worked through Christ, worked through His disciples, and still works miracles through real believers today. Healing the sick is as much for today as it ever was. What Jesus did before, He will do for YOU now.

Consider the above Scriptures and meditate them in your heart.

Hope!

July 5th, 2015

In the Heart of Our Heavenly Father is the source for all hope. Symbolically the manna found in the Ark of the Covenant represented among other things, hope. Each day Our Heavenly Father provided manna to the children of Israel in the wilderness. The manna was only good for a day, or two if before a Sabbath. There was no hoarding of the manna. Initially, each person in the wilderness exercised hope and faith that our Heavenly Father would provide the next day. After so many days of success, it became familiar and commonplace for the manna to be on the ground. At that point, Our Heavenly Father became the provider of sustenance for the people which in essence provided them with “life”. Can you imagine a perfect food to keep you healthy? The people had been enslaved for generations by the Egyptians and needed the revelation of hope in their lives to become real to them. What better way than to start with a basic need- food. The next need was water. When the water was low, Our Heavenly Father had Moses strike the rock and water came gushing out for the people to drink. These acts were designed to provide hope for entrance into the Promised Land. However, of that generation who left Egypt, only two men could overcome the ego’s power over them. Joshua and Caleb converted that hope to faith and were able to enter the Promised Land after forty years.

Placing your hope in others can lead to sorrow and disappointment. When your hope is not based or originated in Our Heavenly Father, it is subject to the sin and judgments against the other person. Unfortunately more often than not, you will be disappointed in the result. The complexities of life work against you placing hope in another person. Sometimes there are just circumstances beyond their control to perform and in the end they will typically do what is necessary for them to survive even if it is an illusion in their mind. Fear can have a significant impact on people and that is why we are urged to “fear not” throughout Scripture. When fear has embraced you, others cannot count on you to perform and fulfill the hope placed in you. Misplaced hope can damage the maturing process of faith and cause you to become cynical towards all people. When that happens, judgment and division creep in and further separates you from Our Heavenly Father. We must keep in mind that HE created all mankind and we must find the lesson to be learned when we encounter disappointment in the hope we placed in others.

The first use of hope in Scripture is seen in the Book of Ruth. There was a famine in the land of Israel, so Ruth’s future husband’s family went to the land of Moab. Ruth married into the family. During a ten year period, the three men of the family died and left Ruth, her mother-in-law, and sister-in-law in desperation. They were broke, husbandless, and hungry so things were looking a little bleak. Even though Naomi, her mother-in-law, had urged her to go her separate way, Ruth committed to stay with Naomi are receive GOD as her god. They ended up returning to Bethlehem at the beginning of the barley harvest which incidentally refers to the “overcomers” in Scripture. This begins the beautiful love story based on hope and redemption. Ruth goes to a local field being harvested hoping to pick up any grain left by the harvesters. Boaz, the owner the field, sees Ruth and is attracted to her immediately. It turns out that Boaz is able to redeem Ruth and marry her. Ruth conceives a child who turns out to be the grandfather of King David.

This story reflects the bigger picture of Our Heavenly Father’s plan. Little did Ruth know that she would become the wife of Boaz. Back in Moab, her life looked like it was pretty well over. Once Ruth accepted Our Heavenly Father as her God, her hope was activated and the future began to unfold. Ruth was called to be King David’s great grandmother. Little did she know when she was enduring the famine back in Moab that her destiny would be so bright!

Let not the world events cause your hope to depart.  FATHER is still in control:

Philippians 4:11 Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content:

12 I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound. Everywhere and in all things I have learned both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.

13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

A Word from my friend Ray

THE PRIVILEGE OF THE HIGH CALLING … THE THIRSTY OVERCOMERS

(Rev. 21:6)  And He said unto me, It is done ( ref.John 19:30). I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end (Rev.1:8). I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. (7)  He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be My son (singular). Relationship with Father is top of the ‘check list’.

(Matt 20:16)  Many are called but few chosen …  contrast the ‘many’ with the ‘few’! Nothing to do with who and when folks gets saved!

GOD HAS ONLY ONE SON … His only begotten Son  (John 3:16). His son is many-membered. We were all (many) in HIm in the ALPHA revelation SON called by grace. But it is only the overcomers (few — by contrast) who are in Him in the OMEGA revelation SON chosen by overcoming.  “Alpha” (First letter of the Greek alphabet) relates to the beginning of God manifesting Himself in His Son. “Omega” (the last letter of the Greek alphabet) relates to the end or last unveiling of Himself in His Son. You are either an overcomer or you are not! Are you thirsty for the water of Life which flows in the love pipeline?

HOW DO WE OVERCOME? Turn on the tap. By being (Eph. 5:26) cleansed by the washing of the RHEMA-thought-cleansing-word (water to be applied inside and outside of a life). The ‘rhema-word’ will show us how God sees us!!! So dont’ forget your meditative reading of His word.

Quote of the Day

July 3rd, 2015

Richard Russell:

"One of man’s dreams has been to get something for nothing. The alchemists were dreamers who sought to turn base metals into gold. They never succeeded. Gold is only accumulated by man’s labor. The dream of the gambler in Las Vegas is to put a coin in the slot machine and with a mere pull of the handle, hit the jackpot.

In the same way, the operators at the central banks create money out of thin air. Through acts of manipulation, they create new money. They force people to accept their new currency by fiat. Fiat currency gains its legitimacy through government threat and the muzzle of a gun. Ironically, despite government threat, no fiat currency has ever survived. In the end, reality trumps government threats.”

Be Strong in THE LORD

July 2nd, 2015

In Ephesians chapter 6, Paul wrote:

10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might

11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.

The issues in the physical are only symptoms of the issues in the spiritual realm thus we must go up higher to resolve those issues we are dealing with.  We must access the higher laws in order to resolve them.  The solution to the problem is not found at the same level of the problem.

How do are we able to move to a higher realm in a consistent fashion?  It is by hearing and responding to HIS Word.

Romans 10:17   So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of GOD.

I would also say that in order to fully hear HIS Word, you must comprehend HIS Divine Intent behind HIS Word and I believe that to be the missing ingredient of past failures when attempting to walk by faith.  James wrote in his epistle, chapter 4:

3  You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures.

When we ask FATHER WHO is LOVE for something that satisfies, promotes, or continues our path in lust and/or error, we will not receive our request.  We are out of synch with HIM.  It is HIS good pleasure to give us gifts to promote life and Love but when we ask amiss we cannot expect our request to be fulfilled.  We are asking on the wrong level and we must ascend to a higher level and approach HIM.  As we take on HIS Character, we ascend to a level where proper requests can be made known.

Does this mean you will not receive anything from FATHER at your current level?  No, HIS grace and mercy will meet us at whatever level we are at.  However as HIS children, HE expects us to mature and reach new heights.  HE expects us to grow out of the immaturity of childhood and become mature men and women in CHRIST.  HE expects us to begin to know HIS Character and thus know what and how to ask in order to meet the needs of the situation at hand.  As we know HIS Character, we will ask appropriately and have full assurance of our request being met by HIS expressed Love.  We align with HIS Divine Intent of Love.

The time is coming where we will all need to put on the full armor of GOD.  For some it is here now.  The issues around the globe originate in the heavenlies, not with a small elite group of men.  Our solution to the problems in this world are only found in the third Heaven and HE sits on HIS Throne there.  All authority is found there and that is where we should place our focus.  As we purpose each day to hear HIS Voice and respond accordingly, we will surely be strong in THE LORD.

Being Knit Together

July 1st, 2015

The Apostle Paul and I have the same overall purpose as he wrote in the second chapter of Colossians:

2  My purpose is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, both of THE FATHER and of Christ.

There are two mysteries contained in this verse: the revelation of Christ and the revelation of OUR FATHER.  All believers have some understanding of Christ and purpose to take on His qualities but I am convinced that less understand FATHER.   For many “seeing is believing” and as people read the Gospels they can picture Jesus doing those wondrous acts and out of Love and dying on the cross for us.  To a much less degree do they understand FATHER’S Divine Intent of Love.

Paul understood this mystery as he wrote in 1 Corinthians chapter 4:

14 I do not write these things to shame you, but as my beloved children I warn you.

15 For though you might have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet you do not have many fathers; for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel.

16 Therefore I urge you, imitate me.

Paul made it his mission to bring many unto maturity in Christ.  As we mature we should be able to minister life to others and be a good example for them to follow.  As we uphold the highest standards according to FATHER’S Divine Intent, others will be encouraged to do so.  If we are constantly seen as compromising our values, then others will be unable to rely on our word.  As we stand on the Truth in Love, we set an example for those who are less mature.  As they see that we base our life on the WORD of GOD, they will be encouraged to do the same for they see the peace prevailing in our life.

Whether we like it or not, we are constantly being judged by others.  Many are waiting for us to stumble and fail just as the Pharisees were constantly challenging Our Lord and Savior as He walked the earth.  These people try to justify their path of death and destruction by others’ failures to be perfect.  My responsibility is to continually point their focus to that of Jesus Christ, our High Priest Who is without spot and without failure.

This is why forgiveness is so critical for those who desire to be knit together in unity.  Love provides the path to unity by first forgiving others.  As Jesus said “Forgive them they know not what they do”.  We all had to be forgiven of our sins and lawlessness before we could come into unity with FATHER.  As a father I have had to forgive my children in their immaturity countless times, knowing that as they gained wisdom they would no longer be lawless and rebellious.

Do we really need 10,000 instructors in Christ?  The Gospel is really simple and thus we need mature examples of how to walk accordingly.  Mature believers are those who have found the simplicity of Christ for all to understand.  They do not try to be condescending and puffed up in knowledge as though they are one of the few elite.  Instead, they see the potential in everyone to rise to their calling in Christ.  They don’t belittle others who think differently and withhold revelation but look for appropriate opportunities to share at the level the other person is at in his or her walk.  Yes, there are times to be silent about the deeper things FATHER has shown you but that should not prevent you from ministering to others at their level of understanding.

Fathers who Love their children always have the unity of the family in mind as they minister maturity to their children.  Some children have to be separated from the others for a season but in the end, the family unity is always in mind.  How much greater is this Truth in the family of GOD!  We are called to be knit together in Love, not necessarily in knowledge or understanding for we are all at different levels of maturity.  Forgive those who don’t see eye to eye.  Let diversity be among the group for it adds some “spice” to life.  Accept others with those diverse opinions, knowing that FATHER will correct their error (or yours) at the proper time.  Be knit together in Love.
