Sacrifice Of Praise

Friday, January 12th, 2018

THE SPIRIT wrote in Hebrews chapter 13:

8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

9 Do not be carried about with various and strange doctrines. For it is good that the heart be established by grace, not with foods which have not profited those who have been occupied with them.

10 We have an altar from which those who serve the tabernacle have no right to eat.

11 For the bodies of those animals, whose blood is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest for sin, are burned outside the camp.

12 Therefore Jesus also, that He might sanctify the people with His own blood, suffered outside the gate.

13 Therefore let us go forth to Him, outside the camp, bearing His reproach.

14 For here we have no continuing city, but we seek the one to come.

15 Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name.

16 But do not forget to do good and to share, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.

The word sacrifice means surrendering a possession as an offering to God: an offering.  A sacrifice is given when the current circumstances need correcting.  Man’s fallen state was corrected by the sacrificial blood of The Lamb.  Praise is an acknowledgment and admiration of a benefit received.  When we praise Our Heavenly Father, we are acknowledging HIS Character and works with our lips.  This act is an acknowledgment of the reality of HIS omnipotent power over all our circumstances.  A sacrifice of praise is done in faith and in expectation of our current circumstances being overcome because when there are no issues at hand, there is no sacrifice or correction needed.  At all times we should be lifting our voices in praise, even when things are going well.

In Acts chapter 16, Paul and Silas were imprisoned for preaching the Gospel thus the opposition wanted to keep them from fulfilling their calling.  What did they do?

25 But at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns (praises) to God, and the prisoners were listening to them.

26 Suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened and everyone’s chains were loosed.

Instead of sulking and being sad, the two men prayed and sang songs of praise to FATHER.  The opposition intended evil against them and they devised a plot which they are not able to perform because Paul and Silas were serving FATHER and HIS Divine Plan.  Paul certainly knew Psalm 28’s importance:

6 Blessed be the LORD, Because He has heard the voice of my supplications!

7 The LORD is my strength and my shield; My heart trusted in Him, and I am helped; Therefore my heart greatly rejoices, And with my song I will praise Him.

When we declare the greatness of FATHER by word or song, we are requesting HIS manifested Presence to work among us.  In the Revelation of Jesus Christ chapter15, those in Heaven were singing the song of Moses and the song of The Lamb.  These two songs express appreciation and admiration for FATHER’S acts of deliverance.  The song of The Lamb is sung by a company of full overcomers who had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name.  Victory first comes in the Spiritual realm and then manifests in the physical realm just as it did for Paul and Silas.

Our sacrifice of Praise sets us up for victory over the circumstances in which we find ourselves.  As we hear ourselves bring forth praises, the problem grows smaller, and FATHER’S deliverance grows greater in our hearts and minds.  HE is moved by the purity of our hearts in time of need just as any father would respond.  Without question, there is power in the sacrifice of Praise, and we should never discount the importance of it.  Paul and Silas didn’t.

Behold, A New Creation

Thursday, January 11th, 2018

A birth day is the manifestation of a new and unique Expression of FATHER on earth, and each of us is unique and special in HIS Eyes.  FATHER deemed it important to place each of us on earth to live and carry out our specific calling here on earth.  It is a time of celebration when life comes forth.

In 2 Corinthians chapter 5, Paul wrote by THE SPIRIT:

17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

18 Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation,

19 that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation.

20 Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God.

21 For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

We must not allow this passage to become “stale” in our hearts and minds and grow cold concerning its revelation.  We became a new creation when we receive Christ in our hearts, and many of us saw a dramatic change when we received The Holy Spirit into our lives.  Each of us had a second birth day which is even more pronounced than the first.

FATHER has reconciled us, and we are also to be reconciled to HIM.  The word reconcile means to return to favor; to bring into balance; cause to coexist in harmony; make or show to be compatible.  As new creations, we are to reflect FATHER in our daily walk for that is what mature sons and daughters do.  The more complete our reconciliation, the more mature we are.  Am I in greater harmony with FATHER this year versus last year?  Is there any notable difference in my spiritual maturity?  Am I producing the fruit of THE SPIRIT to a greater degree than this time last year?  Each of us should take time to assess progress in these areas.

THE SPIRIT implores us to become fully reconciled to FATHER.  I see no greater barometer than walking in the revelation of Love.  Isn’t that the ultimate test of being in complete harmony?  If each one of my actions has the intent of Love behind it, can there be any incompatibility with FATHER’S Divine Intent?

Most families celebrate birthdays for they are reminders of how special those family members are.  These days serve as a reminder of the bringing forth of life and the uniqueness of the individual.  There are times when each of us needs to be reminded of our relevance to FATHER’S Divine Plan.  Becoming the righteousness of GOD in Christ is a daily progression, and we should purpose to be in greater harmony with FATHER as we start our day.  We need to keep this Truth before us at all times and not allow ourselves to become passive in our walk.

THE SPIRIT wrote through Paul in Colossians chapter 1:

21 And you, who once were alienated and enemies in your mind (expressed) by wicked works, yet now He has reconciled

22 in the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy, and blameless, and above reproach in His sight—

23 if indeed you continue in the faith, grounded and steadfast, and are not moved away from the hope of the gospel which you heard, which was preached to every creature under heaven, of which I, Paul, became a minister.

We are new creations so let us walk accordingly by being well grounded in Love and faith.  Our daily Hearing, studying, and meditating on HIS Word solidifies our foundation so that we are well grounded.  As we plant HIS pure Word in our hearts, we become the true expression of our new man for behold; we are a new creation.

The Old Man (Or Woman)

Wednesday, January 10th, 2018

As believers, we are dead to sin and alive to GOD.  Paul wrote by THE SPIRIT in Romans chapter 6:

1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound?

2 Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it?

3 Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death?

4 Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

5 For if we have been united together in the likeness of His death, certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His resurrection,

6 knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin.

We must quit digging up that old man and allowing his qualities to impact our walk.  The old man’s nature is no longer a part of our life and was buried when we accepted Jesus Christ.  Let us not resurrect the old man by constantly referring to our past along with its attitudes.  Our old man was done away with as we were effectively nailed to the cross and united with Jesus Christ.

Consider the past of the disciples, especially Paul.  They did not constantly dredge up their past after being filled with THE SPIRIT.  They left the past behind and proceeded on to their high calling.  We must do the same.  Paul was an expert on the Old Testament Law yet he received the revelation of the Commandment of Love and walked according to it.  When we walk by THE SPIRIT of Love, we no longer need to concern ourselves with focusing on the 613 commandments and statutes because we are fulfilling the Divine Intent of the Law.  The old man did not comprehend true Love, and at best the old man would be legalistic.

If we couldn’t continue in sin, then Paul would not have urged us to depart from it.  Our ego will try to keep us from walking according to THE SPIRIT and revert us back to the lifestyle of the old man.  We must resist going back to the ways of the old man.  Immature believers are susceptible to being manipulated by their ego as long as they remain in that state of immaturity.  As we become mature, our old man becomes less of a problem, and we can move forward at a greater pace.  The chains to the past are broken.

7 For he who has died has been freed from sin.

8 Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him,

9 knowing that Christ, having been raised from the dead, dies no more. Death no longer has dominion over Him.

10 For the death that He died, He died to sin once for all; but the life that He lives, He lives to God.

11 Likewise you also, reckon yourselves to be dead indeed to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

12 Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in its lusts.

13 And do not present your members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin, but present yourselves to God as being alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God.

14 For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace.

We are responsible for presenting ourselves alive in Christ to FATHER.  We must not let sin reign in our bodies and obey its lusts and FATHER has provided the means for us to overcome sin by applying HIS Word to the situation.  If a sinful thought rises up, speak to it and tell it “That is not who I am” for sin has no dominion over you.  Any thought, imagination, or dream contrary to the Word should be cast down the moment it raises its ugly head.  We must take control of our thought life because we are no longer the old man subject to sin and death.

What Are The Facts?

Tuesday, January 9th, 2018

A fact is a thing that is indisputably the case; the indisputable reality; the truth about events as opposed to interpretation.  Facts are contained in Truth, and if there is anything found to be false, then the truth has been compromised.  Any so-called fact not supporting Truth must be disputed for it does not totally reflect Truth.  We have been conditioned to treat facts as Truth even though they may be of a temporary nature.  For example, if our body is dealing with a virus, are we sick or are we in a state of being healed.  Our bodies are designed to be healing at all times thus the virus is a temporary condition rather than a “fact.”

FATHER is the Author of indisputable facts and reality.  Everything else is simply temporary in nature and should not be interpreted in like fashion.  As we read FATHER’S Word, we must accept It as Truth containing relevant and indisputable facts of who we are in Christ.  Any words spoken toward us by the world conflicting with HIS Word are not facts nor truth.  We must no longer give credence to the world’s opinion about us and place or trust in HIS Truth about us.

Paul wrote the following Truth by THE SPIRIT in Philippians chapter 4:

13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

The fact is Christ strengthens you and me.  The fact is I CAN do all things according to FATHER’S Word.  The world is constantly challenging this Truth and Its related facts.  Who are you going to trust and believe?  Look at the fruit produced by the world: wars, famine, scarcity, and death.  There are the people who are trying to convince us of their doctrine.  People who are critical of believers have no observable good fruit.

THE SPIRIT writes it in Hebrews chapter 11:

1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

2 For by it the elders obtained a good testimony.

3 By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.

The elders provided us with a good testimony of the Truth and facts for they walked in faith concerning FATHER’S Word.  For us to walk according to the facts, we too must walk in faith.  By Jesus’ stripes, I am healed.  That is a fact we must accept by faith rather than promoting the temporary state of dealing with sickness and disease.  Jesus proved that the sick man’s state was not permanent when in John chapter 5 we read:

5 Now a certain man was there who had an infirmity thirty-eight years.

6 When Jesus saw him lying there, and knew that he already had been in that condition a long time, He said to him, “Do you want to be made well?”

7 The sick man answered Him, “Sir, I have no man to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up; but while I am coming, another steps down before me.”

8 Jesus said to him, “Rise, take up your bed and walk.”

9 And immediately the man was made well, took up his bed, and walked.

The man’s condition was not permanent even though most people would have disagreed at the time.  The man was hopeful of being healed since he went daily to the pool of Bethesda.  He had not yet heard the Truth and facts in order to be healed.  Jesus spoke the facts, and the man accepted them.  Jesus knew the Truth of the matter and expressed it to the man thus changing his temporary condition.

FATHER’S Love for us gave us HIS Word which is the indisputable Truth accompanied by the facts.  Any conflicting word is disputable and should not be accepted as fact or the Truth.  It is up to each of us to determine what we accept and also what we convey to others as Truth and fact.  I would prefer to be silent concerning a temporary condition if I don’t know the fact of the matter.  My opinion may conflict with the Truth, so I should just keep my mouth shut until FATHER reveals the Truth of the matter.  Beware of those who spew out words of opinion without the Truth for they could usher you into a ditch.

The Year Of Courage

Monday, January 8th, 2018

FATHER spoke in Deuteronomy chapter 31:

6 “Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the LORD your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.”

Courage requires confidence in one’s resources, and FATHER is our greatest “Resource” in time of need.  As we continue to dwell and meditate on HIS Word, our confidence will grow, and our courage to deal with adversity will increase.  When such adversity comes knocking on our door, we will no longer be moved.

FATHER spoke in Isaiah chapter 41:

10 ”Fear not, for I am with you;

Be not dismayed, for I am your GOD.

I will strengthen you,

Yes, I will help you,

I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.”

The word courage comes from the Latin word “cor” meaning heart and is defined: fearlessness, audacity, boldness, strength in the face of pain or grief.  When we begin to walk with and listen to FATHER, we become of good courage as we are confronted with opposition to HIS Word.  We know HIS power, strength, and authority are behind every move we make and every word we speak.  Our past failures no longer matter, and any perceived weakness is no longer given any thought.

Courage isn’t needed when things are going well, and all are at peace.  FATHER reassures us to be of good courage only when we are being prepared to face upcoming challenges.  As believers we are told to fear not for FATHER is with us.  Though we may be uncertain about the situation we are in, FATHER has no uncertainty found within HIM thus as we place our trust IN HIM and in the Blood of HIS Son, peace and joy rise up in our heart.  Jesus addressed worry and fear in in Luke chapter 12:

22 Then He said to His disciples, “Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat; nor about the body, what you will put on.

23 Life is more than food, and the body is more than clothing.

24 Consider the ravens, for they neither sow nor reap, which have neither storehouse nor barn; and God feeds them. Of how much more value are you than the birds?

25 And which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?

26 If you then are not able to do the least, why are you anxious for the rest?

27 Consider the lilies, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; and yet I say to you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.

28 If then God so clothes the grass, which today is in the field and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, how much more will He clothe you, O you of little faith?

Jesus told us there is no need for anxiety and fear to rule our lives.  As we come to know HIM and HIS Character of Love, we will realize FATHER will supply all our need according to HIS riches, not ours.  We must not fret about what tomorrow will bring because FATHER is with us and already knows our future needs.  As we rest IN HIM our fears, uncertainties, and doubts dissipate, and peace floods our soul.

Paul wrote by THE SPIRIT in Romans chapter 8:

14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.

15 For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.”

16 The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God,

17 and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.

Fear and anxiety put us into bondage whereas courage and faith break those chains.  Let us go forth this year not only in faith, but great faith.  Let us be of good courage as we face circumstances which will challenge us but let us be strong in our faith and trust in FATHER.  We have HIS Holy Spirit residing on the inside of us WHO will lead us through whatever adversities lie ahead.  Let us be full of joy and peace as our Love and faith excel in producing good fruit this year.  We will go through adversity but the question is what will be our state of mind as we face adversity, faith or fear?  Anxiety or joy?  It is our choice.  Be of good courage!

Spirit Of…

Sunday, January 7th, 2018

Paul wrote by THE SPIRIT in 2 Timothy chapter 2:

3 I thank God, whom I serve with a pure conscience, as my forefathers did, as without ceasing I remember you in my prayers night and day,

4 greatly desiring to see you, being mindful of your tears, that I may be filled with joy,

5 when I call to remembrance the genuine faith that is in you, which dwelt first in your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice, and I am persuaded is in you also.

6 Therefore I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands.

7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

First of all, Paul has fully accepted the reality of being a new creature, behold all things have become new (2 Corinthians 5:17).  He is serving FATHER with a pure conscience which means he fully understood the power of The Blood and Its application to his life thus he has also let go of the past and has forgiven himself.  First and foremost, the Blood of Christ is ever present as he wrote.  Another noteworthy point is that Paul was in constant prayer or communication with FATHER… day and night.  Just as Jesus spoke only the Words He heard from FATHER, Paul purposed to do the same.

Timothy needed encouraging as we all do and Paul knew of Timothy’s gift which was not fully matured and operational.  Similarly, each of us has a gift and there are times when that gift needs to be stirred up.  I trust these writings do their part in stirring up your gift as it does mine.  When our gifts are fully operational, we become blessings to others and in turn their gifts begin to be stirred.

If we will assess ourselves on a daily basis, we will know which spirit is impacting us.  The spirit of fear causes uncertainty and doubt as it raises its ugly head.  Are there situations that I put myself in which causes fear?  Am I exposing myself to people who promote fear?  There is much negativity in the media these days requiring us to filter what we watch and hear.  Most talk shows are intended to evoke emotions such as fear or frustration in order to maintain ratings.  Many Internet blogs and Youtube channels attempt to paint a dire picture as well.  Their revenue streams from advertising depend on increased viewership so they want to draw us back to their site by appealing to fear or fleshly desires.

As believers we have been given the Spirit of Love, power, and a sound mind so we should protect ourselves from anything in conflict with our spirit.  It is not about isolation but rather about strengthening our spirit man so that we are not moved by what we are exposed to each day.  Jesus went out among the lost and lawless but was not moved by them.  Instead, they were moved by Him.

Paul wrote by THE SPIRIT in Galatians chapter 5:

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is Love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,

23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.

24 And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.

25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

26 Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.

When we walk in the Spirit of Love, we will produce all nine of these fruit.  The result is greater power in all aspects of our life.  As an example, there is great power in peace, longsuffering, and self-control when confronted with sustained adversity.  Pressure causes us to become stronger and our faith in FATHER’S ability and willingness to deliver us out of adversity keep us until the enemy is wiped away.  This assurance causes us to walk in joy and peace no matter what confronts us.  Overcoming adversity brings for joy and we can walk in kindness, goodness and gentleness toward all.  The Spirit of Love fully stabilizes our life no matter what the circumstance.  We are not fretful or anxious about tomorrow.

FATHER has revealed to us the ability to successfully walk in the Spirit of Love, power, and a sound mind.  Because HE revealed it to us, it is attainable to walk in that state.  No matter what circumstances you are dealing with today, FATHER can and will deliver you out of them if you will direct your steps toward HIM for nothing is impossible IN HIM.

The Process Of Planting And Watering

Saturday, January 6th, 2018

Paul wrote by THE SPIRIT in 1 Corinthians chapter 3:

5 Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers through whom you believed, as the Lord gave to each one?

6 I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase.

7 So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase.

8 Now he who plants and he who waters are one, and each one will receive his own reward according to his own labor.

Each of us is tasked with guarding his or her heart.  Our hearts and minds are being fed and watered every day with either uplifting, positive thoughts or negative and destructive thoughts.  Both Paul and Apollos were spreading the Good News of Jesus Christ knowing that the increase comes from FATHER.  Both men understood the needs to share The Word in order for people to change for the better thus it was and is important to share The Word if we are to expect positive results.

However, the world is sharing its own word equating to scarcity, death, and destruction.  The doctrines of men attempt to move the world into greater darkness.  Paul issues this warning by THE SPIRIT in 2 Timothy chapter 3:

1 But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come:

2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

3 unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good,

4 traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,

5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!

Can anyone dispute the fact that this is what is happening before our eyes?  Is there one adjective in the above passage that is not taking place?  Paul’s warning is to turn away from such people because he understood the Truth of seedtime and harvest.  What we focus on, ponder, and entertain will grow inside of us.  Wisdom wrote in Proverbs chapter 4:

20 My son, give attention to my words; Incline your ear to my sayings.

21 Do not let them depart from your eyes; Keep them in the midst of your heart;

22 For they are life to those who find them, And health to all their flesh.

23 Keep your heart with all diligence, For out of it spring the issues of life.

24 Put away from you a deceitful mouth, And put perverse lips far from you.

25 Let your eyes look straight ahead, And your eyelids look right before you.

26 Ponder the path of your feet, And let all your ways be established.

27 Do not turn to the right or the left; Remove your foot from evil.

We ultimately become like the company we keep.  If we associate with people who are negative and judgmental, we will ultimately speak in like manner.  If we listen to music which degrades and condemns others, then we will begin to think and speak like those artists.  This reality often occurs subtly and over long periods of time but one day a person will wake up and realize that their thoughts and words no longer reflect the Divine Intent of FATHER.  They become critical of others even though they have plenty of flaws themselves.

There is nothing wrong with positive thinking when it lines up with The Word.  Faith is positive by its very nature.  Faith expects the temporary to improve and remove the negative circumstances from our life or why should we walk in faith?  When we set a positive expectation for change in our life according to a promise in FATHER’S Word, we are exercising faith.  Can you imagine how Noah was ridiculed while he and his sons were building the ark?  What about Abraham and Sarah?  The naysayers surely tried to convince them that there was no way for Sarah to bear a child at her age given she was barren.

We are not subject to our circumstances unless we believe we are.  Faith expects change to occur when we are not contradicting change by our own thoughts and confession.  As we study The Word and allow FATHER to increase it in our life, our faith will grow and we will see positive change occur.  Growth in some occurs quicker than in others because each of us has a unique way of receiving and processing.

We must let our past remain there and not allow our thoughts to be dictated by our past.  Our response to adversity will help determine what is in our hearts but we must be brutally honest with ourselves.  Let us take command of what is planted and watered in our hearts and minds.

The Transfer of Power

Friday, January 5th, 2018

I believe FATHER by HIS SPIRIT provides each topic I write so that we may be filled with the knowledge of HIS will in all wisdom and Spiritual understanding.  It appears that many believers lose some of the “freshness” of revelation and so FATHER has us revisit passages now that we have attained a level or greater understanding.  FATHER’S Word is multi-faceted so a passage will provide additional Spiritual enlightenment depending on where we are in our individual walks.

Paul wrote by THE SPIRIT in Colossians chapter 1:

13 He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed (transferred) us into the kingdom of the Son of His love,

14 in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.

There is no question that there is power in the kingdom of darkness which will keep mankind in its grasp.  However, the power of the Kingdom of The Son Whom FATHER Loves is much greater and can deliver anyone out of the power of darkness.  The precious Blood of Christ must never be discounted or set aside as being secondary in our walk.  Our Transfer from darkness to light was enabled by His Blood allowing us to be redeemed completely from darkness.  As we acknowledge the brevity and power of the Blood, we will be able to overcome the enemy in every area of our life.  We will no longer be moved by the lawlessness confronting each of us on a daily basis.

Since we have been transferred to a new life and able to be filled with light, we should focus on producing good fruit and being a light in the darkness.  Paul emphasized this in the following verses:

9 For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;

10 that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God;

11 strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy

When we walk in faith, we please Our Heavenly Father and as we exercise our faith we become fruitful in every good work.  This process causes us to ascend to a higher spiritual state and we can and will be filled with knowledge in a proper fashion.  The key to applicable knowledge is to have wisdom and spiritual understanding when applying it.  Otherwise, we are subjected to walking in error.

When FATHER’S glorious power is flowing through us we are strengthened with all might so that we are able to minister to those in darkness just as Jesus ministered according to the needs.  As we patiently increase in this power, we will develop great endurance and walk in joy.  Today’s society expects instantaneous results in all areas thus there is little teaching of patience.  We must let patience have its perfect work and allow the seed sown in those we encounter to grow and produce good fruit.

This transfer of power was intended from the beginning thus FATHER is not surprised by any situation we encounter.  HE has sufficient power and authority ready for our use when we have matured to the point of being faithful stewards of such power and authority.  The following was revealed to Paul and given to us for our benefit:

15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.

16 For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him.

17 And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist.

18 And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence.

The word “all” means that there are no exceptions in all of creation.  Let us embrace this revelation as we mature so that our expectations align with the reality of what FATHER revealed in this passage.  Blood is designed to promote life and to provide nutrients to the body.  No blood, no life.  The Blood of Christ functions in the same manner but at the highest level.  The blood in each of us is a testimony of The Blood of Christ.  His Blood was powerful enough to redeem and transfer to a totally different, superior kingdom so let us be mindful of this in our daily study and walk.  We should truly walk as overcomers because that is exactly what Jesus accomplished at the cross on our behalf.

Let each of us daily declare in Love by faith:  “I walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, in all patience and longsuffering with joy.”

You Are Of GOD

Thursday, January 4th, 2018

The Beloved Disciple wrote by THE SPIRIT in 1 John chapter 4:

4 You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.

5 They are of the world. Therefore they speak as of the world, and the world hears them.

6 We are of God. He who knows God hears us; he who is not of God does not hear us. By this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error.

Little children (immature believers) must be reminded who they are in Christ.  Jesus Christ is in us, and He is greater than any person, demon, or evil spirit in the world.  As we embrace this Truth, we are no longer intimidated by the enemy of Christ who is guided by the spirit of error.  We also know that people who of FATHER can and will hear us as we speak HIS Word.  Those who ridicule believers do so out of fear that their doctrine is wrong thus they try to discount the Truth by conflict.  However, it does not change the Truth.

Paul wrote by THE SPIRIT in 2 Corinthians chapter 5:

17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

We must set the past behind us and live for today.  FATHER has forgiven us of our past, and we must do the same lest we make the Blood of Jesus Christ of no effect.  The world and the enemy would try to bring up our past and have us denounce our current state of being a new creation, but we must proclaim The Word in response.  Past facts do not make a current Truth in our lives.  I was once lost, but now I am found thus I am no longer is a state of being lost.

I find it interesting how people judge others’ past as though the accusers lived a perfect, flawless, and totally lawful life.  Only Jesus was able to satisfy the requirement of purity and innocence after spending 33 1/2 years walking among those in the world and all of its temptations.  Everyone else has a problematic past which disqualifies them from casting the first stone of judgment.  As HIS new creation, we are no longer interested in casting stones of judgment, but now we can understand the motives of people who practice lawlessness.  The immature believer is subject to the emotions generated by the lawlessness of others, but the maturing believer is no longer moved by such lawlessness.

Jesus spoke in John chapter 7:

14 Now about the middle of the feast Jesus went up into the temple and taught.

15 And the Jews marveled, saying, “How does this Man know letters, having never studied?”

16 Jesus answered them and said, “My doctrine is not Mine, but His who sent Me.

17 If anyone wills to do His will, he shall know concerning the doctrine, whether it is from God or whether I speak on My own authority.

18 He who speaks from himself seeks his own glory; but He who seeks the glory of the One who sent Him is true, and no unrighteousness is in Him.

When we are of GOD, we do not have our own doctrine, teachings, or belief system but we walk solely according to FATHER’S teachings.  By hearing and speaking from the Word, we do not have to concern ourselves with searching out the validity of those beliefs.  Our Heavenly Father has openly provided the path we walk through HIS Most Holy Son, and we have countless testimonies of its validity.  I have been spared five times of certain death and FATHER has shown HIS Mighty Hand each time and delivered me thus no one can challenge what I know to be true.

The Beloved Disciple wrote by THE SPIRIT in 1 John chapter 5:

14 Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.

15 And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.

Let us hold on to this confidence we have in FATHER and not allow the world to shake this confidence in any manner.  We know Our FATHER, HIS Son, and HIS Most Holy Spirit thus we have a firm foundation of who we are in Christ.  The enemies of Christ are temporary by nature, and they will ultimately bow their knee to Our Lord.  It is only a matter of time until they see what we see and begin to believe what we already know because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.
