Unity and Diversity in One Body

Monday, April 14th, 2014

The theme of this year’s Passover Conference is “Unity” among the diverse group of believers.  We may be geographically separated but we are of one Spirit:

1 Corinthians 12:12 For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ.

:13 For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free—and have all been made to drink into one Spirit.

:14 For in fact the body is not one member but many.

Each of us has a unique purpose within the Body.  That reality creates a diverse group of people.  The one thing that bonds us together is Love.  That Love focuses on truth, not man’s doctrines, customs, or perceptions.  The Love of the truth is what we can all agree on and allows us to maintain a mutual respect for where each of us at in our walk.  We are to forebear one another as we all search out the truth.  We don’t need to defend the truth, it will actually defend us.  Our Heavenly Father established truth and ultimately judges those in error with the end result being restoration to the truth.

15 If the foot should say, “Because I am not a hand, I am not of the body,” is it therefore not of the body?

16 And if the ear should say, “Because I am not an eye, I am not of the body,” is it therefore not of the body?

17 If the whole body were an eye, where would be the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where would be the smelling?

18 But now God has set the members, each one of them, in the body just as He pleased.

19 And if they were all one member, where would the body be?

Each of us has a part in this upcoming Passover.  Embrace your purpose and gifts.  Don’t focus on the purpose of others, wishing you were operating in their calling.  They need your calling in full operation.  The mature body needs all of its parts working in unity, without blemish.  This is when the “body” can and will be presented to Our Heavenly Father.  One’s ego will subtly desire another’s calling.  Don’t let that “false” self have an audience in your mind.  Cast down that vain imagination.  Be content that Our Heavenly Father knows what HE is doing.  Place your trust in this reality.  Unity is the key and every person is necessary:

20 But now indeed there are many members, yet one body.

21 And the eye cannot say to the hand, “I have no need of you”; nor again the head to the feet, “I have no need of you.”

22 No, much rather, those members of the body which seem to be weaker are necessary.

Do not judge the weakness or ministry of others.  Our Heavenly Father places great emphasis on those we think to be less honorable.  HE established their calling and gifts for HIS specific purpose.  We have no basis to challenge or question HIS wisdom in placing them in those roles:

23 And those members of the body which we think to be less honorable, on these we bestow greater honor; and our unpresentable parts have greater modesty,

24 but our presentable parts have no need. But God composed the body, having given greater honor to that part which lacks it,

25 that there should be no schism in the body, but that the members should have the same care for one another.

26 And if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it; or if one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it.

We must suffer as Christ suffered.  When one of us suffers, we all suffer.  Let us minister in unity, loving each other.  If you see a need and you can minister to that need, do it.  The stronger are called to serve the weaker.  We should all pursue the Spiritual Gifts listed just before this passage.  Those gifts were given to minister to the maturing of the body into the bond of perfection- Love.  The suffering is only temporary until we are fully equipped to minister the fullness of life and Love to others.  As we mature, our focus moves from personal preparation to the preparation of others, that we may all obtain the inheritance together in Christ.

Romans 8:16 The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, 17 and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.

The Need for Unity

Saturday, April 12th, 2014

Jesus said:

John 17:20 “I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word

21 that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me. NKJV

In tomorrow’s Bible study, Kemper will begin Chapter 8- The Process of Unity.  In the above Scripture, Jesus spoke of the vertical connection with Our Heavenly Father AND the horizontal connection of the brethren with each other.  This chapter’s timing is most appropriate for the coming Passover Conference we are hosting on Ustream next week.  I cannot understate the importance of all of us coming into unity, especially in the coming time of transition.  There is strength in agreement and there are those who would want us to stay isolated from each other in order that they can continue to manipulate and control us to submit to other agendas.  The only division we should expect is that of separating the wheat from the tares, not among those who are called to minister life to the rest of the world.  Egos must be set aside once and for all.  Divisions should not be found among the aspiring overcomers.  Passiveness and apathy are no longer acceptable among those in training.  Now is the time to come into unity.

You can participate live in the tomorrow’s Bible study at 3PM CST at http://www.ustream.tv/channel/the-baptism-of-love  The broadcast will be recorded for later viewing by those unable to attend.

Unbelief- hindrance to healing

Saturday, April 12th, 2014

In last week’s Bible study, we spent a notable amount of time covering Scriptures on faith.  Contrary to faith are unbelief and worry.  Jesus spoke of the various levels of faith: none, little, and great; and gave specific examples of each.  In our time of maturing, we must not forget to spend time in the Word for faith cometh by hearing the Word, written or spoken by Our Heavenly Father.

Mark 6:

1 Then He went out from there and came to His own country, and His disciples followed Him.

2 And when the Sabbath had come, He began to teach in the synagogue. And many hearing Him were astonished, saying, “Where did this Man get these things? And what wisdom is this which is given to Him, that such mighty works are performed by His hands!

3 Is this not the carpenter, the Son of Mary, and brother of James, Joses, Judas, and Simon? And are not His sisters here with us?” So they were offended at Him.

4 But Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honor except in his own country, among his own relatives, and in his own house.”

5 Now He could do no mighty work there, except that He laid His hands on a few sick people and healed them.

6 And He marveled because of their unbelief. Then He went about the villages in a circuit, teaching.

In the above passage, Jesus had gone to his local home town of Nazareth.  The people there were familiar with Him and thus were more critical of what He was preaching.  It is a mistake to discount the calling of the individual because you knew them during their maturing period.  Everyone starts out as a baby.  The local people made a critical error when they focused on Jesus’ youth rather than His calling.  Their unbelief prevented mighty miracles being manifested in their midst.  They rejected His Word in that they looked at his training period as their basis for determining whether or not to pay attention to Him.  Their mistake caused many of them to continue in pain and suffering rather than be freed of their sickness and disease.  Earthly reasoning hinders Heavenly results.  The power to heal was resident in Jesus but the faith to receive was the missing ingredient among the people.

The Spiritual gift of a “word of knowledge” is intended to bring forth faith in that person so that he or she can receive from Our Heavenly Father.  If you are given a “word” that no one else knows but you, there is an assurance that the person giving the “word” has been commissioned by Our Heavenly Father to do a work.  That specific word of knowledge springs forth faith to receive.  We are designed to believe but many build walls of protection because of past abuses.  Those walls must come down in order that the individual can fully mature in the purpose assigned by Heaven.  Faith must be resident rather than cynicism, unbelief, and doubt.  Our Heavenly Father will speak through whomever HE pleases.  It could even be a jack-ass such a Balaam’s.  Each of us must remain teachable if we want to rise up to the fullness of our callings.  The resurrection of Jesus eliminated the unbelief among His disciples.  He then spent 40 days teaching them Kingdom truths in preparation to receive the Holy Spirit’s arrival on the Day of Pentecost.  On that day, unbelief was not an issue.

The Disciples Commissioned

Friday, April 11th, 2014
Preparation for the ministry requires us to become fully mature in Love and faith.  Love must be the preeminent virtue in our life so the execution of our purpose points to Heaven and not us personally.  In the past decades, men’s egos were stroked as they rose to notoriety in the healing ministries.  The number of houses, cars, and planes increased dramatically as did their checkbook.  I believe there are now more stringent requirements for those called to minister.  They must by empty of “self”.  The new nature should be fully operational and the Love of the brethren should be firmly rooted and grounded.  I also believe that with Love as the foundation, each will operate in all nine of the Spiritual gifts.  I know one man who has operated in such manner and his revelation of Love is solid in his life and in his ministry.  He made himself of no reputation but as he would read the Word to the audience, healings would occur.  Words of knowledge and other gifts operated as needed.  His firm foundation of Love kept him from pursuing the temporal blessings of this world.  We should also expect similar results once we are fully matured in preparation for this age that is upon us.  Our commissioning is pursuant to our maturing into vessels of honor.  We are to enter through the Open Door which separates the two types of vessels, the wheat from the tares.  The door will be shut and the foolish virgins will experience the closed door.  Our day of preparation is at hand and I can only conclude that our Bible study was initiated for this very purpose.  I also must conclude that Servias Ministries was organized in order to facilitate the books on Love, the physics of Jesus Christ, and the Raising of the Remnant, as well as future instruments of preparation.  Further, it is to facilitate coming into unity as One Body of Christ with Love being the glue that holds us together.  Our perspective of isolation must change and we must remove our unbelief and hardness of heart.  Let the word “lukewarm” not be described to any among us.  Repent of your apathy toward the Gospel, toward the teaching of Love, faith, and hope.  Let each day begin with the expectation of hearing HIS Voice, an impartation of HIS Power, and the opening of a new door.  May HIS signs follow you:

Mark 16:14  Afterward He appeared to the eleven themselves as they were reclining at the table; and He reproached them for their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they had not believed those who had seen Him after He had risen.

16:15  And He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.

16:16 He who has believed and has been baptized shall be saved; but he who has disbelieved shall be condemned.

16:17 These signs will accompany those who have believed: in My name they will cast out demons, they will speak with new tongues;

16:18 they will pick up serpents, and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover."  NASB

Should we expect any less?

The Purpose of Economic Updates

Thursday, April 10th, 2014

The Divine Intent of Our Heavenly Father navigated me to a Degree in Economics and then a substantial experience in Finance and Banking.  After that was accomplished, HE moved me out of banking into Finance and Information Technology (IT).  HE has orchestrated the formation of Servias, the writing of blogs, and the broadcasts we present on Sundays, as well as the upcoming broadcast of the Passover Conference.  None of these were my ideas, I simply responded to HIS Word.

We are quickly approaching the maturing of two groups of people:  the vessels of honor, and the vessels of dishonor.  In the Exodus, the Egyptians funded the children of Israel.  In the wilderness, Our Heavenly Father provided the daily bread.  The Promised Land was maintained by the heathen until it was time to enter into the land and possess it and all of its assets.  In all cases, Our Heavenly Father established “value” for exchange.  Within the commandments and statutes is the law of equal weights and measures.  This law applies to commerce at the physical level but applies to equilibrium instituted by Our Heavenly Father in the spiritual and soul realms.  The current system and its methods and means of exchange will ultimately end.  The purpose of our updates is focused primarily for the time of transition, for those who are maturing to the fullness of Christ.  Jesus commanded the GOD particles based on the need at the time.  He multiplied bread and fish as needed.  He located funds to pay taxes as well.  He did not rely on Obamacare to heal the sick.  As we transition from our current maturity level to that of the Pattern Son, we will no longer need economic updates.  Until then, we are called to be good stewards over what HE has given us to manage.  We are in a multi-faceted training stage.  Until you can turn water into wine, I suggest managing your money appropriate in order to buy wine, bread, and fish.  While we are in this transition, you should not compromise your growth toward the fullness of a mature son who will walk in the bond of perfection- Love.  HE will let you know when there is no longer any need for managing your finances.  After all, one of the blessings is to be a lender unto many nations.  When you have finances, you have the opportunity to be a blessing to those in need.

As empty nest baby boomers, we tend to eat out more often.  Being a financial-kinda guy, I pay close attention to prices and value.  New menus reflect higher prices.  What was 9.99 is now 10.99.  Once coffee, tea, and soft drinks break the $2 barrier here in the southwest, it really gets my attention.  After all, we are not in New York City.  Food prices are up and for the average middle-class family it is noticeable to the budget.  The top 1% don’t care since it is such a small part of their cash outflow.  Since we know all of the financial markets are being manipulated, we must persevere in the short term until the truth is fully exposed for all to see.  Those who are manipulating the markets are doing everything in their power to manipulate us into compliance to their agenda.  As we move toward the end of the manipulation, I expect them to become desperate and attempt a takedown of physical asset prices, specifically gold and silver.  The offset to this will be the kings of the East who hope physical assets get cheaper so they can load up by spending their dollars.  That threat is what is currently providing a price base for assets such as gold and silver.

Those of us who are serious about doing Our Heavenly Father’s will should pursue unity among the brethren.  If we stay isolated from each other we cannot be a body, fitly joined together.  We must come into agreement.  Set aside your focus on the imperfections of others and instead look at them as Our Heavenly Father sees them.  None of us are infallible.  Focus on embracing their purpose rather than criticizing their errors.  Deal with your own error and the Body of Christ will be strengthened.  Focus on Love.  As we all do, we will bring the Kingdom here on earth.

Pursuing Life and the Living

Tuesday, April 8th, 2014

Life and the living are all in Our Heavenly  Father’s plan, will, and purpose.  The dead and dying are removed because their purpose has been fulfilled, even if they were unfruitful.  Unfruitfulness is necessary as a comparison to good fruit.  If you are participating in a dead or dying pursuit, take a different path.  Our Heavenly Father is in the midst of the growing, living, fruitful aspects of life.  This is what pruning is all about.  The dying branches are sucking the life out of the plant and thus they need to be removed so the energy can be focused on the living aspects of the plant.  If your pursuit is sucking the life out of you and you are constantly tired and unfulfilled, maybe you should pursue another way.  This is true in all aspects of life.

Have you pursued a failed opportunity?  If so, there was something missing or unworkable.  In business, it is often due to a lack of financial capital.  People become over-extended and are unable to recover from the extreme leverage.  The financial pressure becomes too great for them to handle.  It is true for those who buy a house anticipating that they can somehow afford the payments, hoping for a financial miracle that does not arrive.  Their ego betrayed them once again.  Lack of understanding is another aspect often missing in a failed opportunity.  Thorough research helps, but also getting counsel from a seasoned professional will keep you from taking a wrong turn in pursuing an opportunity.  Sometimes, you simply lack the ability to complete the task.  Your impatience or lack of experience will create a vacuum that cannot be filled in time to seize the opportunity.  If that is the case, let it go.  Forgive yourself and others who may have been involved.  Then, start pursuing life again.

Are you hoarding “stuff”?  Get rid of it.  It represents the dead and dying aspects of the past.  Are you holding on to old revelations that are no longer fresh?  Pursue fresh revelation, Our Heavenly Father isn’t living in your past, HE is in the present.  There were necessary spiritual movements in the past.  The “faith” movement was one.  It was important for the time but it did not completely mature those who were involved in the movement.  It was simply another necessary revelation in the pursuit of full maturity.  Progress is the key to the living.  Those who stop along the way begin the decaying process.  Death is the result.  It is time to quit resting on your laurels and actively pursue life.  But first, forgive all those unworkable aspects of your past that did not pan out.  Don’t be one of those who are “pruned” away from the living.

Challenges Ahead

Sunday, April 6th, 2014

My parents lived through “golden” economic times.  Both were born in 1929 and lived through the Great Depression, but at a young age.  Grandpa Henley worked at the flour mill during the week, played fiddle at the Saturday night dances, and broke ponies no one else would attempt.  His skin was always black and blue with bruises.  The kids just thought that was normal skin for him.  Those were tough times.  But after WWII, the U.S. became the place to be.  Sustained economic growth and reasonable expectations allowed the average person to plan for their future.  Interest rates were stable and hard working people could save money for retirement with a reasonable amount of certainty.  5% saving rate became the norm and except for the early 1980’s when rates soared to double-digits in order to control inflation, life was rather predictable.  Not so much now.

The global economic system is in the midst of being shaken to its core.  Greed has infiltrated every major market.  A few in control have been able to methodically steal from the masses.  Their reward will be temporary at best.  The kings of the East are rising up and will defy the old order.  The principles that America once stood for are still being touted but the actions speak differently.  Hiding behind the “greater good” philosophy will no longer be tolerated.  The truth has begun to peak out from behind the curtain.

At the same time, Our Heavenly Father is raising a standard of Love and Truth.  HIS Word is by which everyone and every act will be judged.  We must embrace this standard at all costs.  We must be unwavering as we pursue the full maturity associated with HIS standard.  Love must arise in order that alternatives can be judged.  Truth must be known in order to fully expose the lies.  The Law must be expressed in order to judge the lawless.  With that in mind, 1 Corinthians 13:7 should be meditated upon:

1 Corinthians 13:7
  • NET© 13:7 It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
  • NIV© 13:7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
  • NASB© 13:7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
  • ESV© 13:7 Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
  • NLT© 13:7 Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.
  • MSG© 13:7 Puts up with anything, Trusts God always, Always looks for the best, Never looks back, But keeps going to the end.
  • BBE© 13:7 Love has the power of undergoing all things, having faith in all things, hoping all things.
  • NKJV© 13:7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
  • NRSV© 13:7 It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
  • KJV© 13:7 Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.
