Being led by The Holy Spirit produces liberty!
Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in 2nd Corinthians chapter 3:
13 unlike Moses, who put a veil over his face so that the children of Israel could not look steadily at the end of what was passing away.
14 But their minds were blinded. For until this day the same veil remains unlifted in the reading of the Old Testament, because the veil is taken away in Christ.
15 But even to this day, when Moses is read, a veil lies on their heart.
The Israelites’ minds were closed and hardened to THE SPIRIT and HIS Glory. This veil is only lifted when we are joined to The Messiah and The Holy Spirit.
16 Nevertheless when one turns to The Lord, the veil is taken away.
17 Now The Lord is the Spirit; and where The Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
18 But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.
As verse 17 tells us, when Paul uses the term THE LORD, It refers to The Holy Spirit. When we are led by The Holy Spirit, we walk in freedom and liberty in all areas. We are no longer afraid of men or the consequences they attempt to bring forth over us. We fear not.
It is recorded by THE SPIRIT in Psalm chapter 118:
5 I called on the LORD in distress; The LORD answered me and set me in a broad place.
6 The LORD is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me?
7 The LORD is for me among those who help me; Therefore I shall see my desire on those who hate me.
8 It is better to trust in the LORD Than to put confidence in man.
9 It is better to trust in the LORD Than to put confidence in princes.
And Paul referenced this passage as he wrote by The Holy Spirit in Hebrews chapter 13:
5 Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
6 So we may boldly say: “The LORD is my Helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?”
We are now in tumultuous times and if there was ever a time to embrace this Truth, it is now! We are to be prepared, not scared of what is on the horizon as men contrive behind closed doors. THE LORD knows their intent.
The only way to be blessed is to do what The Holy Spirit tells you to do. You cannot rely on a “system” to follow. Often in the past, The Holy Spirit would instruct me to do something that made no sense to me. However, as I submitted to Him, I was unexpectedly blessed. He expects me to live by faith in His Spoken Word and not rely on my own mental faculties. Bringing down the walls of Jericho is an excellent example of faith in the Supernatural ways of GOD.
The Holy Spirit has a rich variety of ways of moving in our lives. The secret of liberty is being sensitive to The Holy Spirit!
