There are times when we must encourage ourselves by reflecting on FATHER’S specific Words to us.  The world bombards us with information and stories in an attempt to sway us into believing their opinions, doctrines, political beliefs, and other such rhetoric.  The media uses fear to get our attention in order to direct our actions to align with their motives and goals.  They constantly stir up the souls of men and women in order to keep them off balance.  How do you hop off the merry-go-round?  Dwell and meditate on FATHER’S Word. 

FATHER Loves you and me, HE created us so now let us go on to perfection by focusing our attention on, in, by, and through HIM.  In Hebrews chapter 6:

10 For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister.

11 And we desire that each one of you show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope until the end,

12 that you do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.

FATHER knows our acts and labor of Love and will not forget them.  Anytime you feel challenged or pressured by the world you must recall HIS Promises toward you and place your hope on those specific promises.  We must not become lazy or sluggish because of some apparent delay in seeing results.  We must remain steadfast that the GOD of hope will bring to fruition those promises made to us.  Paul states in Romans chapter 15:

Romans 15:13  Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

“Now I receive the power of the Holy Spirit that hope may abound in all aspects of my life today and I am filled with all joy and peace.”

As you are empowered by hope, your faith will activate to a greater degree.  When FATHER speaks a Word to you, HE directs your attention to hope in the area of that Word spoken.  The promise is now at the forefront of your consciousness.  You must keep this promise of HIS Word before you at all times dwelling on it day and night so that it becomes alive in you.  HIS Word is planted in you and must have time to bring forth the blade, the flower, and finally the fruit.  The adversary knows that once the Word is planted, the easiest time to thwart FATHER’S Word is before the Word has had time to germinate within you.  Jesus explained this reality in Matthew 13:

18 “Therefore hear the parable of the sower:

19 When anyone hears the word of the kingdom, and does not understand it, then the wicked one comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart. This is he who received seed by the wayside.

20 But he who received the seed on stony places, this is he who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy;

21 yet he has no root in himself, but endures only for a while. For when tribulation or persecution arises because of the word, immediately he stumbles.

22 Now he who received seed among the thorns is he who hears the word, and the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and he becomes unfruitful.

23 But he who received seed on the good ground is he who hears the word and understands it,who indeed bears fruit and produces: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.”

As we dwell and meditate on HIS Word, the Holy Spirit provides us with the understanding we need in order for HIS Word to come alive and grow in us.  We must hold fast to HIS Word and not let the wicked one, tribulation, persecution, cares of the world, or deceitfulness of riches keep the Word from producing fruit in our lives.

It takes time for the Word to grow in us thus we must be patient and have faith knowing HIS Word will not fail if we guard it in our hearts.

Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Faith is now just as HIS Word of Hope is now.  We must not let our external circumstances dictate success or failure in our lives.  Believing is truly seeing what FATHER has for us.  There are times we must confess HIS Word out loud for our own ears to hear.  We are wired to respond to what we hear and see thus we must direct our focus to HIS Promises by reading and speaking them aloud.

Philippian 4:13  13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me

He strengthens me as I walk out this period of faith in FATHER’S Word specific to me for I know FATHER is unwavering in HIS Promises.  Why?  FATHER Loves me fully and completely.  In Romans chapter 5 Paul states:

5 Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

The foundation of our assurance of faith and hope is Love.  FATHER’S Divine Intent of Love is the basis for fulfilling HIS Promises to each and every one of us.  We must fully accept these Truths in order for them to become reality and manifest in our lives.  We must not let the cares of the world rob us of HIS Blessings reserved for us.  We must be of good courage and move forward in those promises knowing that HE will empower us in whatever manner is required to fulfill HIS Word.

1 Corinthians 13:13  And now abide faith, hope, Love, these three; but the greatest of these is Love.

If there is ever a time of uncertainty in the world’s system, it is now.  The economic system is unreliable, peace among nations looks improbable, and religions are at odds against each other.  Other than that Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?

The children of Israel assumed that the Gentiles were not part of the promises of FATHER for centuries and then at the appointed time, Jesus Christ opened the eyes of men and revealed the mystery of Christ for all to see and understand.  Paul writes in Ephesians chapter 3:

3 how that by revelation He made known to me the mystery (as I have briefly written already,

4 by which, when you read, you may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ),

5 which in other ages was not made known to the sons of men, as it has now been revealed by the Spirit to His holy apostles and prophets:

6 that the Gentiles should be fellow heirs, of the same body, and partakers of His promise in Christ through the gospel,

I believe we are at the point of another revealing of a mystery hidden from other ages.  Paul was ushering in the Age of Pentecost as ordained by FATHER at that point in time.  The mystery was hidden from the brightest who walked the earth.  The Pharisees were the Bible scholars of the times yet there were blinded to the mystery spoken of by Paul.  They had not tapped into the fullness of FATHER’s manifold wisdom.  Paul further states:

8 To me, who am less than the least of all the saints, this grace was given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ,

9 and to make all see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the ages has been hidden in God who created all things through Jesus Christ;

10 to the intent that now the manifold wisdom of God might be made known by the church to the principalities and powers in the heavenly places,

The only solution to the current global situations is that the manifold Wisdom of FATHER be deployed among HIS Remnant.  The current system is nearing destruction and there is much at stake as mankind has perverted the Laws of GOD in an attempt to carry out their humanistic agendas in various forms and fashion.  Each nation has its own inherent bias toward solutions to its problems and it always includes exploiting others.  Is there not a solution applicable to all mankind?  Of course there is but it must be found at a higher state than the problem, not at the same level where blindness is widespread.

Throughout Scripture we find great and mighty demonstrations of FATHER’S Power.  Whether HE parts the Red Sea or causes the sun to be still for an hour, nothing is impossible for the CREATOR of Heaven and earth.  On the other hand, mankind thinks the genetics of plants and animals should be modified in order to improve the species.  Seriously?  Are you kidding me?  Oh how men deceive themselves by thinking they can improve any of FATHER’S Divine intentions.  They may have knowledge and skill but lack wisdom and understanding.  Paul knew that the answers were found in the Heavenlies rather than man’s own understanding:

14 For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,

15 from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,

16 that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man,

17 that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love,

18 may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height—

19 to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

Are you filled with the fullness of GOD?  If not, focus on being rooted and grounded in Love.  As you come into the fullness of the revelation of Love you will be filled with all of HIS fullness and then HE will use you as one of HIS vessels of honor to exercise and demonstrate HIS Power.  What a simple and straightforward solution in this complex world of uncertainty!

Acts 13:2 As they ministered to the Lord and fasted, the Holy Spirit said, “Now separate to Me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.”

3 Then, having fasted and prayed, and laid hands on them, they sent them away.

“Ministering” denotes doing work for FATHER and it focuses on helping others in some manner in response to FATHER’S direction.  Fasting is intended to bring the five physical senses, logic, and human reasoning into subjection thus quieting the soul and body in some manner.  Many people think that simply going hungry is fasting but I would say that bringing your appetite into subjection and no longer allowing stimulation by food, drink, entertainment, or other sources is the intent of fasting.  Some people are simply addicted to stimulation and must overcome it in order to hear FATHER.

Once you focus on improving your hearing, you are ready to hear and respond in a greater manner.  This is depicted in the following passage:

8 But Elymas the sorcerer (for so his name is translated) withstood them, seeking to turn the proconsul away from the faith.

9 Then Saul, who also is called Paul, filled with the Holy Spirit, looked intently at him

10 and said, “O full of all deceit and all fraud,you son of the devil, you enemy of all righteousness, will you not cease perverting the straight ways of the Lord? 11 And now, indeed, the hand of the Lord is upon you, and you shall be blind, not seeing the sun for a time.”

And immediately a dark mist fell on him, and he went around seeking someone to lead him by the hand.

12 Then the proconsul believed, when he saw what had been done, being astonished at the teaching of the Lord.

Paul was now fully equipped to deal with those he encountered and see beyond the outer man.  Not only did FATHER expose the inner man but judgment came upon Elymas who attempted to hinder the ministry of Paul and Barnabas.  Do you think that men today are shielded from such exposure when encountering those whom FATHER has called, activated, and authenticated?  Now is the time of the unveiling and exposing of all men’s hearts.  We must take our place ministering to THE LORD and fast according to our unique requirements to increase our sensitivity to HIS SPIRIT.  As we do, the resources of Heaven will be imparted for our use to establish HIS Kingdom on earth as it is in Heaven.

Isaiah 16:5   In love a throne will be established; in faithfulness a man will sit on it—one from the tabernacle of David— one who in judging seeks justice and speeds the cause of righteousness.

By observation we see a world in a mess but by faith we expect a jubilee to be at hand.  All of the enemies of righteousness will be brought under foot even though your eyes and reasoning would try to convince you otherwise.

Three of us were called to a prophetic trip that began in Charlotte on August 31st, myself and two men named Samuel.  While in the Charlotte area, we prayed for the innocent blood spilled on the Trail of Tears initiated by Andrew Jackson who was born in the area.  We were led to go to Rocky Mount, Virginia, (to the house of Cornelius- Acts 10) and then on to Fairfax in the Washington, D.C. area.  In Fairfax, Samuel experienced a vision of an 8.2 earthquake while standing in the lobby.  The next morning we went to Arlington National Cemetery and prayed for all of the innocent blood spilled in war.  After leaving there, we went to the Supreme Court and prayed for justice over the land.

The other Samuel had a dream where he was in a supreme court setting.  FATHER was the presiding judge.  Samuel looked at HIM and said, “YOU know who YOU are, YOU know who I am, let’s get this thing done!”  I believe this to have activated something notable in the Spiritual realm.  Additionally, I believe this relates to Isaiah 16:5 and did not link these together until now.  FATHER navigates us through these times and expects us to walk by faith.  Later HE will disclose greater details of what HE called us to do and/or say.  The other Samuel persisted in quoting an excerpt from the following:

Amos 9:11 ​​“On that day I will raise up

​​The tabernacle of David, which has fallen down,

​​And repair its damages; ​​I will raise up its ruins,

​​And rebuild it as in the days of old;

12 ​​That they may possess the remnant of Edom,

​​And all the Gentiles who are called by My name,”

​​Says the LORD who does this thing.

​

13 ​​“Behold, the days are coming,” says the LORD,

​​“When the plowman shall overtake the reaper,

​​And the treader of grapes him who sows seed;

​​The mountains shall drip with sweet wine,

​​And all the hills shall flow with it.

14 ​​I will bring back the captives of My people Israel;

​​They shall build the waste cities and inhabit them;

​​They shall plant vineyards and drink wine from them;

​​They shall also make gardens and eat fruit from them.

15 ​​I will plant them in their land,

​​And no longer shall they be pulled up

​​From the land I have given them,”

​​Says the LORD your God.

I believe these days have come and expect it to be a quick work.  As the unrighteousness of the world is coming to a climax, so is the full activation and authentication of those called unto righteousness.  As in the vision toward FATHER- “YOU know who YOU are, YOU know who we are, let’s get this thing done!”

FATHER out of HIS Love for mankind always warns them before judgment arrives and this time is no different.  All of us remember 9/11/2001 and where we were at on that fateful day.  No matter who instigated the attack, judgment came to the shores of the U.S.  When the country’s response should have been repentance and remorse, instead it was pride, defiance, and unrighteousness.

Fast forward to 2008, seven years later, and we nearly had a meltdown of the financial system and were in hours of the government proclaiming martial law.  In the next seven year period we have had zero percent interest rates thus the middle class and the retired have suffered with less income from their life savings.  True unemployment has stayed around 22-23 percent during this period.  In response the government has increased transfer payments and food stamps to keep the populace from rising up.  Throughout this entire period the U.S. continues its war in the Middle East, the longest in its history.

There have been countless prophets warning America and those warnings have mostly fallen on deaf ears.  We have a tendency to believe if those warnings don’t come to pass rather quickly they must have been false.  However, FATHER is longsuffering to a point and does not hastily deal out judgment.  We should remain vigilant and not assume that all is well in the land.  Proverbs 16 expresses the position we should be taking:

16 ​​How much better to get wisdom than gold!

​​And to get understanding is to be chosen rather than silver.

​17 ​​The highway of the upright is to depart from evil;

​​He who keeps his way preserves his soul.

​18 ​​Pride goes before destruction,

​​And a haughty spirit before a fall.

19 ​​Better to be of a humble spirit with the lowly,

​​Than to divide the spoil with the proud.

​20 ​​He who heeds the word wisely will find good,

​​And whoever trusts in the LORD, happy is he.

America’s hedge of protection has been removed and the enemy has been able to wreak havoc within our borders.  It is true for those countries who historically professed to be Christian nations.

Babel was a tower of defiance and mankind had totally separated itself from FATHER,  In an effort to rise up to the heights of the spirit, the tower was man’s attempt to become as god using their soulish thinking and methods.  Men have continued to build taller and taller buildings in an attempt to show their superiority and display their egos.  The buildings communicate the arrogance “Mine is bigger than yours thus I am better than you.”  Perversion continues to spread across the land.

In Isaiah chapter 9, the defiance of the leaders of Israel are but a type and shadow of the leaders of today:

8 ​​The Lord sent a word against Jacob, ​​And it has fallen on Israel.

9 ​​All the people will know— ​​Ephraim and the inhabitant of Samaria—

​​Who say in pride and arrogance of heart:

10 ​​“The bricks have fallen down, ​​But we will rebuild with hewn stones;

​​The sycamores are cut down, ​​But we will replace them with cedars.”

11 ​​Therefore the LORD shall set up ​​The adversaries of Rezin against him, ​​And spur his enemies on,

12 ​​The Syrians before and the Philistines behind; ​​And they shall devour Israel with an open mouth.

​​​For all this His anger is not turned away, ​​But His hand is stretched out still.

When judgment comes, man’s pride attempts to defy FATHER’S Hand in the matter.  In man’s arrogance and pride he remains blinded from the reality that he is under judgment.  Those who ascribe to the current political path of destruction will suffer the most.  What does FATHER think of hewn stones?  We read in Exodus chapter 20:

25 And if you make Me an altar of stone, you shall not build it of hewn stone; for if you use your tool on it, you have profaned it.

Man has replace the covenant of marriage with a different covenant represented by a six color rainbow.  FATHER’S covenant to the earth is a seven color rainbow.  Man’s redefinition does not suddenly make it true.  It only reinforces the reality that a harsher judgment is imminent.

Those who place their trust in FATHER will be spared the harshness of the coming judgment, no different than when the death angel passed over those who knew how to be protected from the severe judgment over Egypt.  On the other side of judgment is a restoration and those who have trusted in FATHER will be as lights unto the world.  The final preparation continues as the warning is still in effect.  Don’t be lulled to sleep because it hasn’t fully occurred yet for FATHER isn’t restricted to our timing and expectation.

“That is the way we have always done it.”  How many times have you heard that throughout your life?  I am all for doing things that work and keeping it simple but I must not be resistant to change especially due to FATHER providing me with new and fresh revelation.  When HE unlocks mysteries, we need to embrace them.  Jesus spoke a parable in Luke chapter 5:

36 Then He spoke a parable to them: “No one puts a piece from a new garment on an old one; otherwise the new makes a tear, and also the piece that was taken out of the new does not match the old.

37 And no one puts new wine into old wineskins; or else the new wine will burst the wineskins and be spilled, and the wineskins will be ruined.

38 But new wine must be put into new wineskins, and both are preserved.

39 And no one, having drunk old wine,immediately desires new; for he says, ‘The old is better.’ ”

Each generation has difficulty in adapting to change and this has been true throughout history.  My childhood seemed simple but I now know that my parents shielded me from the complexities of the world.  That parental protection continues to abound today as well.  Our grandchildren are not dealing with major issues and thus they embrace new ideas and methods without reservation.  They have no reluctance to try something new.  We must consider our current revelation to only be a stepping stone to the next higher level FATHER desires for us to occupy with HIM.

Are you satisfied with your current Spiritual state?  If so, I would suggest you are drinking from the old wineskin.  The Pharisees could not recognize the Son of GOD in their midst because they could not go beyond their traditions.  Little did they realize what worked in the past may not work in the future.

Over the years FATHER has busted many of my doctrines and I am thankful for that.  As I matured, HE would share new revelation the dispelled my previous beliefs and assumptions.  HE would show me the correct reality rather than one mixed with man’s additions, manipulations, and interpretations.  Knowing that HE has busted doctrines in the past, I must be sensitive to any that need busting now.  I suspect I am not alone in that situation.

Let’s take a well known Scripture concerning the destruction of Jerusalem in Jeremiah chapter 9:

10 ​​I will take up a weeping and wailing for the mountains,

​​And for the dwelling places of the wilderness a lamentation,

​​Because they are burned up,

​​So that no one can pass through;

​​Nor can men hear the voice of the cattle.

​​Both the birds of the heavens and the beasts have fled;

​​They are gone.

​11 ​​“I will make Jerusalem a heap of ruins, a den of jackals.

​​I will make the cities of Judah desolate, without an inhabitant.”

At first glance it would appear that FATHER will wipe out the current city of Jerusalem.  Consider this.  What if every man saw that the physical city of Jerusalem was no longer of any importance whatsoever to mankind?  What if mankind received the full revelation that we are the Temple of GOD and HE now will only dwell in us and through us and will never inhabit Jerusalem again?  With that revelation, Jerusalem would lose its significance all together.  It would be no different than the building on Azusa Street in LA where the revelation of the baptism of the Holy Spirit spread throughout the earth in 1907.  I have no desire to make a special trip to Azusa street, enshrine it, and worship there.

We must each consider that FATHER may have not given us the full revelation of what is coming forth in the near future.  We must not assume we know the full plot to the story and continue to ascend up toward HIM in the Spirit and in our thinking, understanding, and reasoning.  As we take on HIS Divine nature, we will see things differently and we will want to drink from the new wineskins.  We will let the old wineskins go.

To preempt means to take action in order to prevent (an anticipated event) from happening; forestall.  The devil or adversary is a preemptor.  When Jesus was born, the preemptor attempted to keep the ministry of Jesus from coming forth:

Matthew 2:1 Now after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, behold, wise men from the East came to Jerusalem, 2 saying, “Where is He who has been born King of the Jews? For we have seen His star in the East and have come to worship Him.”

3 When Herod the king heard this, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him.

Herod was the vessel of dishonor who attempted to kill Jesus and keep the current system in place.  He wanted to prevent the calling Jesus had on His life from coming forth and saving mankind from certain destruction.  FATHER moved upon the wise men to do their part in fulfilling HIS Plan:

7 Then Herod, when he had secretly called the wise men, determined from them what time the star appeared.

8 And he sent them to Bethlehem and said, “Go and search carefully for the young Child, and when you have found Him,bring back word to me, that I may come and worship Him also.”

9 When they heard the king, they departed; and behold, the star which they had seen in the East went before them, till it came and stood over where the young Child was.

10 When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceedingly great joy.

11 And when they had come into the house, they saw the young Child with Mary His mother, and fell down and worshiped Him. And when they had opened their treasures, they presented gifts to Him: gold, frankincense, and myrrh.

12 Then, being divinely warned in a dream that they should not return to Herod, they departed for their own country another way.

The wise men were sensitive to their dream and heeded the warning, a true sign of wisdom.  Moreover Joseph also heeded the instruction given to him by an angel appearing in a dream:

13 Now when they had departed, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream, saying, “Arise, take the young Child and His mother, flee to Egypt, and stay there until I bring you word; for Herod will seek the young Child to destroy Him.”

14 When he arose, he took the young Child and His mother by night and departed for Egypt,

15 and was there until the death of Herod, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying, “Out of Egypt I called My Son.”

Significant adversity generally precedes deliverance and success.  When your challenges confront you, know that FATHER will overcome them with HIS solution.  Have faith in HIS Word given specifically to you as you are subjected to events forestalling the expected outcome.  Don’t give up!

Pharaoh tried to kill Moses when he was a baby yet FATHER intervened.  Joseph’s brothers attempted to keep Joseph from fulfilling his calling.  The tempter tried to keep Adam and Eve from bringing forth righteousness on earth.  World leaders such as Hitler tried to thwart The Plan but to no avail.  Who or what is your nemesis?  Don’t let the preemptor keep you from rising up into the fullness of your calling.  Yes, the tests will come but you have Divine resources at your disposal as you align yourself and your thinking with FATHER.  When Joshua was proceeding to confront the enemy in the Promised Land, he encountered the captain of the host of the LORD in chapter 5:

13 And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted his eyes and looked, and behold, a Man stood opposite him with His sword drawn in His hand. And Joshua went to Him and said to Him, “Are You for us or for our adversaries?”

14 So He said, “No, but as Commander of the army of the LORD I have now come.”

And Joshua fell on his face to the earth and worshiped, and said to Him, “What does my Lord say to His servant?”

15 Then the Commander of the LORD’s army said to Joshua, “Take your sandal off your foot, for the place where you stand is holy.” And Joshua did so.

The angel did not align himself with Joshua but Joshua aligned himself with the messenger of FATHER.  Not our agenda but HIS!  The preemptor is dealt with as we walk according to FATHER’S perfect Plan, Will, and purpose.

Each of us must overcome what our five physical senses are sometimes screaming at us in order to embrace FATHER’S Word toward us.  We must build our faith up in HIS Word knowing that FATHER is specifically interested in our wellbeing.  Jesus knew that FATHER would intervene when His calling was challenged or threatened.  Jesus’ calling was established by FATHER before He was formed in the womb and thus the higher Spiritual laws will trump the lower natural laws perceived by our physical senses.  In Matthew 8 we find a specific lesson on faith:

23 Now when He got into a boat, His disciples followed Him.

24 And suddenly a great tempest arose on the sea, so that the boat was covered with the waves. But He was asleep.

25 Then His disciples came to Him and awoke Him, saying, “Lord, save us! We are perishing!”

26 But He said to them, “Why are you fearful, O you of little faith?” Then He arose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm.

27 So the men marveled, saying, “Who can this be, that even the winds and the sea obey Him?”

Jesus’ level of faith superseded the natural circumstances of the storm.  Instead of awakening and yelling at the disciples to row faster, Jesus dealt with the problem at hand.  He didn’t escape the problem but instead confronted the problem.  On the other hand the disciples thought they were going to die, including Peter the fisherman who grew up on the sea.  In the natural the disciples were justified in their concern.

Jesus is our example of a mature Son.  His relationship was well established with FATHER and knew that the Creator of Heaven and earth had power greater than the storm at hand.  We must keep this Truth before us at all times.  We need to mature into overcoming faith and trust in FATHER’S ability AND willingness to lead, guide, and protect us.

Be assured that your faith will be tested and by such testing your faith is made stronger.  It wasn’t until the storm arose that the disciples’ faith was revealed and it was not overcoming in nature.  In 1 John chapter 5 we read:

1 Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves Him who begot also loves him who is begotten of Him.

2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and keep His commandments.

3 For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome.

4 For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.

Our faith must have a foundation of Love, period!  Once you have finally embraced Love and know that FATHER’S Love for you is greater than anything the world can throw at you, you will walk in overcoming faith.  You know that you know!  What can I do to increase in faith?  Focus on those Scriptures, dwell and meditate on them day and night.  If you perceive yourself as having little or no faith, then you must direct your attention and “hear” FATHER’S Word in that area.  It is no different than preparing to run a half-marathon.  You start out where you are at then build up to the point where you can complete the 13.1 mile course.  It takes commitment to build up your stamina just like it takes commitment into building up your faith.  Faith comes by hearing the Word, dwelling and meditating on it.  If you are constantly diluting your attention by what the world is bombarding you with, you will had difficulty in walking by faith.

Luke 4:4  And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of GOD.

This is how Jesus overcame His circumstances, we should follow the same path.
