The Preemptor

November 19th, 2015

To preempt means to take action in order to prevent (an anticipated event) from happening; forestall.  The devil or adversary is a preemptor.  When Jesus was born, the preemptor attempted to keep the ministry of Jesus from coming forth:

Matthew 2:1 Now after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, behold, wise men from the East came to Jerusalem, 2 saying, “Where is He who has been born King of the Jews? For we have seen His star in the East and have come to worship Him.”

3 When Herod the king heard this, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him.

Herod was the vessel of dishonor who attempted to kill Jesus and keep the current system in place.  He wanted to prevent the calling Jesus had on His life from coming forth and saving mankind from certain destruction.  FATHER moved upon the wise men to do their part in fulfilling HIS Plan:

7 Then Herod, when he had secretly called the wise men, determined from them what time the star appeared.

8 And he sent them to Bethlehem and said, “Go and search carefully for the young Child, and when you have found Him,bring back word to me, that I may come and worship Him also.”

9 When they heard the king, they departed; and behold, the star which they had seen in the East went before them, till it came and stood over where the young Child was.

10 When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceedingly great joy.

11 And when they had come into the house, they saw the young Child with Mary His mother, and fell down and worshiped Him. And when they had opened their treasures, they presented gifts to Him: gold, frankincense, and myrrh.

12 Then, being divinely warned in a dream that they should not return to Herod, they departed for their own country another way.

The wise men were sensitive to their dream and heeded the warning, a true sign of wisdom.  Moreover Joseph also heeded the instruction given to him by an angel appearing in a dream:

13 Now when they had departed, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream, saying, “Arise, take the young Child and His mother, flee to Egypt, and stay there until I bring you word; for Herod will seek the young Child to destroy Him.”

14 When he arose, he took the young Child and His mother by night and departed for Egypt,

15 and was there until the death of Herod, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying, “Out of Egypt I called My Son.”

Significant adversity generally precedes deliverance and success.  When your challenges confront you, know that FATHER will overcome them with HIS solution.  Have faith in HIS Word given specifically to you as you are subjected to events forestalling the expected outcome.  Don’t give up!

Pharaoh tried to kill Moses when he was a baby yet FATHER intervened.  Joseph’s brothers attempted to keep Joseph from fulfilling his calling.  The tempter tried to keep Adam and Eve from bringing forth righteousness on earth.  World leaders such as Hitler tried to thwart The Plan but to no avail.  Who or what is your nemesis?  Don’t let the preemptor keep you from rising up into the fullness of your calling.  Yes, the tests will come but you have Divine resources at your disposal as you align yourself and your thinking with FATHER.  When Joshua was proceeding to confront the enemy in the Promised Land, he encountered the captain of the host of the LORD in chapter 5:

13 And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted his eyes and looked, and behold, a Man stood opposite him with His sword drawn in His hand. And Joshua went to Him and said to Him, “Are You for us or for our adversaries?”

14 So He said, “No, but as Commander of the army of the LORD I have now come.”

And Joshua fell on his face to the earth and worshiped, and said to Him, “What does my Lord say to His servant?”

15 Then the Commander of the LORD’s army said to Joshua, “Take your sandal off your foot, for the place where you stand is holy.” And Joshua did so.

The angel did not align himself with Joshua but Joshua aligned himself with the messenger of FATHER.  Not our agenda but HIS!  The preemptor is dealt with as we walk according to FATHER’S perfect Plan, Will, and purpose.

Overcoming Faith

November 18th, 2015

Each of us must overcome what our five physical senses are sometimes screaming at us in order to embrace FATHER’S Word toward us.  We must build our faith up in HIS Word knowing that FATHER is specifically interested in our wellbeing.  Jesus knew that FATHER would intervene when His calling was challenged or threatened.  Jesus’ calling was established by FATHER before He was formed in the womb and thus the higher Spiritual laws will trump the lower natural laws perceived by our physical senses.  In Matthew 8 we find a specific lesson on faith:

23 Now when He got into a boat, His disciples followed Him.

24 And suddenly a great tempest arose on the sea, so that the boat was covered with the waves. But He was asleep.

25 Then His disciples came to Him and awoke Him, saying, “Lord, save us! We are perishing!”

26 But He said to them, “Why are you fearful, O you of little faith?” Then He arose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm.

27 So the men marveled, saying, “Who can this be, that even the winds and the sea obey Him?”

Jesus’ level of faith superseded the natural circumstances of the storm.  Instead of awakening and yelling at the disciples to row faster, Jesus dealt with the problem at hand.  He didn’t escape the problem but instead confronted the problem.  On the other hand the disciples thought they were going to die, including Peter the fisherman who grew up on the sea.  In the natural the disciples were justified in their concern.

Jesus is our example of a mature Son.  His relationship was well established with FATHER and knew that the Creator of Heaven and earth had power greater than the storm at hand.  We must keep this Truth before us at all times.  We need to mature into overcoming faith and trust in FATHER’S ability AND willingness to lead, guide, and protect us.

Be assured that your faith will be tested and by such testing your faith is made stronger.  It wasn’t until the storm arose that the disciples’ faith was revealed and it was not overcoming in nature.  In 1 John chapter 5 we read:

1 Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves Him who begot also loves him who is begotten of Him.

2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and keep His commandments.

3 For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome.

4 For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.

Our faith must have a foundation of Love, period!  Once you have finally embraced Love and know that FATHER’S Love for you is greater than anything the world can throw at you, you will walk in overcoming faith.  You know that you know!  What can I do to increase in faith?  Focus on those Scriptures, dwell and meditate on them day and night.  If you perceive yourself as having little or no faith, then you must direct your attention and “hear” FATHER’S Word in that area.  It is no different than preparing to run a half-marathon.  You start out where you are at then build up to the point where you can complete the 13.1 mile course.  It takes commitment to build up your stamina just like it takes commitment into building up your faith.  Faith comes by hearing the Word, dwelling and meditating on it.  If you are constantly diluting your attention by what the world is bombarding you with, you will had difficulty in walking by faith.

Luke 4:4  And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of GOD.

This is how Jesus overcame His circumstances, we should follow the same path.

Book Ends

November 17th, 2015

For most people, life seemed simple when they were young but it was due to their parents shielding them from the realities and challenges of the times.  In addition the parents would strive to provide a better life for their children than what they went through.  We need to honor our parents and our past but we need to move on for the past is gone.  Quit living in the past and embrace what FATHER is doing today.

Isaiah 43:18 “Do not remember the former things,

Nor consider the things of old.

19 Behold, I will do a new thing,

Now it shall spring forth;

Shall you not know it?

I will even make a road in the wilderness

And rivers in the desert.

20 The beast of the field will honor Me,

The jackals and the ostriches,

Because I give waters in the wilderness

And rivers in the desert,

To give drink to My people, My chosen.

21 This people I have formed for Myself;

They shall declare My praise.

We have all had notable events of the past and some of them may have been defining moments for us at the time.  Those events may have shaped our future but how long should we place great emphasis on those events?  High school class reunions provide perfect examples of this point.  There are classmates who seemed to peak in their popularity during high school and cannot seem to live beyond that era whereas the class nerd may have become a successful dentist, doctor, or entrepreneur.  We need to engage ourselves with what is in front of us today and let yesterday fade into the past.

2 Corinthians 5:17  Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

The Apostle Paul had a past he wanted to forget.  As an enemy of Christ and His followers, Paul who was Saul provides us an excellent example of moving on and embracing what FATHER has placed before us.  You will go through seasons of your life in preparation of what FATHER has called you to today.  Don’t view the end of a job, retirement, the loss of a spouse, or other notable life event as the end of your ministry.  When one door closes, another opens.  Walk through it and embrace what FATHER has placed before you.  This is true with some relationships as well.

Some people get stuck in one aspect of revelation and are unable to move beyond it.  They will continue their study of the old manna until they have fully extracted the life out of it.  We must move on knowing that FATHER has fresh manna and will provide it on a daily basis if we simply seek HIS Face.  In Luke chapter 9:

57 Now it happened as they journeyed on the road, that someone said to Him, “Lord, I will follow You wherever You go.”

58 And Jesus said to him, “Foxes have holes and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head.”

59 Then He said to another, “Follow Me.”

But he said, “Lord, let me first go and bury my father.”

60 Jesus said to him, “Let the dead bury their own dead, but you go and preach the kingdom of God.”

61 And another also said, “Lord, I will follow You, but let me first go and bid them farewell who are at my house.”

62 But Jesus said to him, “No one, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.”

A bookend is to complete and encapsulate a set of books or stories that are related in some fashion.  One bookend starts the set and the other bookend completes it and establishes an end point.  It is time to place a bookend and let the past go.  Quit holding on to the past and putting it on a pedestal to be worshipped.  You are no longer that person and it is time to live in the present and seize the opportunity placed before you.  Your age doesn’t matter.

PS:  It is time to clean out the closet, garage, and storage unit.  Give it, sell it, or toss it.

Distractions from The Purpose

November 16th, 2015

In our zeal to bring forth The Kingdom, we can and often subject ourselves to distractions.  These distractions serve to delay or alter the purpose FATHER has called us to complete.  We will rationalize away the distraction by assigning benefit to the distraction and calling it “good”.  A beloved sister of mine shared the following story similar to the following:

A man was told by FATHER to proceed to a specific town to do a specific thing for HIM.  On the way, the man stops at café and another man sits down beside him.  They strike up a conversation and the first man ministers salvation to the second man.  After the delay, the first man arrives at his destination and finally accomplishes what he was sent to do.

Was the delay the perfect plan of FATHER?  No.  The man did good but not his best.  When FATHER tells us to do something and we add or subtract from it, we did not do according to what HE told us to do and there are ramifications to that disobedience.  In order to walk out HIS perfect Will, we must pay attention to detail and not assign our own desires and results as being pleasing to HIM.  It is critical that we develop the discipline in our individual lives to not get ahead of what FATHER is instructing us to do.  It is as important to know when to do something as it is knowing what to do.

In John chapter 10 the Jews sought to stone Jesus:

39 Therefore they sought again to seize Him, but He escaped out of their hand.

40 And He went away again beyond the Jordan to the place where John was baptizing at first, and there He stayed.

41 Then many came to Him and said, “John performed no sign, but all the things that John spoke about this Man were true.”

42 And many believed in Him there.

In chapter 11, Mary and Martha innocently attempted to distract Jesus from what He was told to do by FATHER.  Their circumstances moved them to compel Jesus to stop what He was doing and immediately respond to their need for Lazarus to be healed:

1 Now a certain man was sick, Lazarus of Bethany, the town of Mary and her sister Martha.

2 It was that Mary who anointed the Lord with fragrant oil and wiped His feet with her hair, whose brother Lazarus was sick.

3 Therefore the sisters sent to Him, saying, “Lord, behold, he whom You love is sick.”

Was the intent of the sisters good?  Yes.  Was it FATHER’S perfect Will for Jesus to respond immediately and go to Bethany to heal Lazarus?  No.  We must resist the temptation to respond emotionally to circumstances out of our own desires, associations, or convenience.  We must resist the temptation to respond to any crisis demanding our attention.  Our focus must stay on what FATHER has instructed us to do.  This is true stewardship and maturity of a Son.

17 So when Jesus came, He found that he had already been in the tomb four days.

18 Now Bethany was near Jerusalem, about two miles away.

19 And many of the Jews had joined the women around Martha and Mary, to comfort them concerning their brother.

20 Now Martha, as soon as she heard that Jesus was coming, went and met Him, but Mary was sitting in the house. 21 Now Martha said to Jesus, “Lord, if You had been here, my brother would not have died.

The women were distraught that Jesus did not immediately come and heal Lazarus.  In fact, He waited four days after Lazarus’ death to arrive on the scene.  We all know the rest of the story that Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead:

40 Jesus said to her, “Did I not say to you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?”

41 Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead man was lying. And Jesus lifted up His eyes and said, “Father, I thank You that You have heard Me.

42 And I know that You always hear Me, but because of the people who are standing by I said this, that they may believe that You sent Me.”

43 Now when He had said these things, He cried with a loud voice, “Lazarus, come forth!”

44 And he who had died came out bound hand and foot with grave clothes, and his face was wrapped with a cloth. Jesus said to them, “Loose him, and let him go.”

Had Jesus responded to Mary upon her summons, the people would not have seen the glory of GOD in this fashion.  They would have looked at death as being permanent and they would have assumed that Jesus was restricted by man’s physical death.  As a result of the the raising of Lazarus, FATHER’S plan was being perfectly walked out by HIS Son.  We too must endeavor to not get ahead of FATHER but must be diligent to be sensitive to respond to HIS Word not adding to or subtracting from what HE has called us to do.  We must be vigilant to respond to FATHER’S perfect Plan, Will, and Purpose rather than man’s situations.

Another Mission of Love

November 13th, 2015

I will be away until Monday for another mission of Love.

The Two Witnesses

November 12th, 2015

The Word and THE Spirit are the two witnesses by which everything is established on earth.  From these witnesses come power (SPIRIT) and authority (Word).

Revelation 11:11 Now after the three-and-a-half days the breath of life from God entered them, and they stood on their feet, and great fear fell on those who saw them.

12 And they heard a loud voice from heaven saying to them, “Come up here.” And they ascended to heaven in a cloud, and their enemies saw them.

13 In the same hour there was a great earthquake, and a tenth of the city fell. In the earthquake seven thousand people were killed, and the rest were afraid and gave glory to the God of heaven.

As of 4:14 AM on 11/11, Oklahoma had 51 earthquakes in the last 7 days.  This is a notable and dramatic increase from last week where the number had subsided to less than 10 in a week.  The North American Craton or geologic plate is once again on the move.  The number 51 represents Divine revelation by the way.

I was troubled in my spirit when I awoke on the 11th and had received an email from a beloved sister overnight.  FATHER had her alert me of some Spiritual events in recent days that directed me to Revelation 11 and Jeremiah 3 and 5, all dealing with judgment and treachery.  It is clear to me that the Spiritual activity is dramatically increasing and we must not ignore it.

The two witnesses are empowered for all the world to see.  The world thought it could slay these witnesses and no longer be bound by the Spirit of the Law.  The timespan between the end of Pentecost and the manifestation of Tabernacles has lulled many to sleep.

The word “prophesy” literally means to speak under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit of GOD.  It is my expressed purpose to only write according to what I receive by the Holy Spirit and I believe that is why I am compelled to write each morning as directed by FATHER.  There are many who are called to provide notification to the world of FATHER’S Divine Intent and purpose.  Mankind will be unable to deny the warnings that have come forth.  I believe the recent focus on great faith and the necessity of rallying resources is an indication of what lies ahead.  How will it play out?  I say “expect the unexpected” to a degree.  At this point we only know in part.

May the breath of Life from FATHER fully activate and authenticate HIS called out ones to fulfill their assigned purposes on earth at this time!  May HIS Words come from the mouths of the witnesses as flames of fire burning up the wood, hay, and stubble.

Recently, my wife heard the creaking open of a box which tied to a vision that a man named Samuel had several years ago.  Jesus had led him up to an attic in a house where a box had been stored and unopened for years.  When Jesus opened the box the creaking sound was heard.  In it was Aaron’s rod and the manna which had been missing from the Ark.  Aaron’s rod had all three phases of growth on it: bud, flower, and fruit.  This indicates a quick work ahead.  The manna in the box contains sustaining life and will not grow old and decay.

My wife heard a second creaking sound as well.  We believe this to be the sound of the door closing separating those who are the called out ones from the rest.  This group is fully committed to serve all of mankind so we must not look at their inclusion as being some form of elitism.  Instead, they are those who Love and are willing to lay down their lives for any and all who dwell on the earth.  They are ones with great faith and trust in FATHER performing HIS Word through them.

I am compelled to share this things with you in order that you would be encouraged that FATHER isn’t in a dormant state while the current system continues its path to destruction.  I also encourage you to continue with your own preparation.  FATHER is alerting you and others by writings such as this to keep your eye on the prize.  Don’t be discouraged by an apparent delay in what you believe will come.  Any delay allows us to be better prepared for that fateful Day.  HIS Power and Authority will authenticate those whom HE has chosen for such a time as this.

The Ascent

November 11th, 2015

Peter, James, and John were chosen and called out from the other disciples to experience a special event with Jesus in Mark chapter 9:

1 And He said to them, “Assuredly, I say to you that there are some standing here who will not taste death till they see the kingdom of God present with power.”

2 Now after six days Jesus took Peter, James, and John, and led them up on a high mountain apart by themselves; and He was transfigured before them.

3 His clothes became shining, exceedingly white, like snow, such as no launderer on earth can whiten them.

4 And Elijah appeared to them with Moses, and they were talking with Jesus.

5 Then Peter answered and said to Jesus, “Rabbi, it is good for us to be here; and let us make three tabernacles: one for You, one for Moses, and one for Elijah”—

6 because he did not know what to say, for they were greatly afraid.

7 And a cloud came and overshadowed them; and a voice came out of the cloud, saying, “This is My beloved Son. Hear Him!”

8 Suddenly, when they had looked around, they saw no one anymore, but only Jesus with themselves.

They were called to ascend the mountain beyond their current understanding and little did they know what they were in for.  Jesus was transfigured in front of three witnesses, thus it was fully established on earth.  This transfiguration was not drawn out over a long period of time but was immediate in nature.  In the account written by Luke, he wrote that after 8 days they ascended up the mountain.  Both numbers point to a Tabernacles experience of HIS Glory coming forth as we ascend.

FATHER spoke to all three of the disciples and commanded them “Hear Him!”  Nothing was said about Moses or Elijah yet the disciples were ready to make three tabernacles.  The Law and the Spirit were represented by Moses and Elijah yet Jesus was the culmination of both, thus “Hear Him!”

All indications lead me to believe that a quick work is ahead.  I only know in part at this time so I am unwilling to fill in the blanks.  There has been clear evidence of an activation.  The transfiguration experienced by Jesus was an authentication for the three disciples to witness and we may see something as notable.  Only FATHER knows the details of HIS forthcoming plan.  Don’t assume you know how it will play out, you may be looking in the wrong direction.

I continue to direct those who are willing to hear to press in and continue to focus on being sensitive to FATHER’S Voice and being led by HIS SPIRIT.  When HIS plan comes into full observation, those who are prepared will be in a position to go forth well equipped.  We must tune out the world and not let our minds overtake our spirit but instead place our minds in subjection to our spirits.  The mind is a great servant but a harsh taskmaster.  The narrow path of walking in Love is before us as we stand at the base of the mountain.  Let us ascend to HIS Ways and not our own.

Knowing In Part

November 10th, 2015

In the Love chapter (1 Corinthians 13) by the Holy Spirit Paul wrote:

12 For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known.

Until we are fully restored to FATHER, we will only know in part but that is no problem for those who totally trust FATHER.  Over the years there have been many well-versed believers who have attempted to provide us the “rest of the story”.   They have focused on the signs of the times, the time cycles, numerology, and other such means and methods to predict what FATHER was about to do…  To no avail.

Biblical scholars would analyze and study Scripture to predict the return of Christ and have missed it time and time again.  I recall first hand that the years 1988, 1993, 1996, 1999, and other such years have all been predicted for the major climax to the end of the Age and the beginning of the new Age.  If you are walking and being led by THE SPIRIT does it really matter?  What matters is producing good fruit for the Kingdom.

The children of Israel and their scholars were expecting a Messiah to come as a conquering king.  Their top scholars had concluded that the Messiah would soon come onto the scene and defeat the Romans who occupied their country.  The Messiah DID in fact come as a conquering King but rather than conquer the Roman Empire, HE conquered all empires by conquering death and destruction at the cross.  He did it at a higher level than what the best scholars could comprehend.

By the Holy Spirit, Paul continues to write in chapter 15:

20 But now Christ is risen from the dead, and has become the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep.

21 For since by man came death, by Man also came the resurrection of the dead.

22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive.

23 But each one in his own order: Christ the firstfruits, afterward those who are Christ’s at His coming.

24 Then comes the end, when He delivers the kingdom to God the Father, when He puts an end to all rule and all authority and power.

25 For He must reign till He has put all enemies under His feet.

26 The last enemy that will be destroyed is death.

Our minds want to reason and analyze data and information in order to predict an outcome in order for the mind to show its superiority to others.  It wants to exalt itself and create division.  It matters not who is the smartest person in the room but all that matters is what FATHER is saying to us by HIS SPIRIT.  Knowledge and skill is of limited value if wisdom and understanding are missing.  Wisdom from above is more valuable than the best education from an Ivy League school.

The purpose of wealth is to establish FATHER’S Covenant on earth:

Deuteronomy 8:18   “And you shall remember the LORD your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.”

Any other purpose is lawlessness and it will be judged according to HIS justice.  When FATHER tells you to give (aka planting seed), just do it knowing that you only know in part what HIS purpose is for both you and the recipient of the giving.  By the Holy Spirit, Paul goes into great detail about this Spiritual Truth in 2 Corinthians chapter 9:

6 But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.

7 So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver.

8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.

9 As it is written:

“He has dispersed abroad,

He has given to the poor;

His righteousness endures forever.”

10 Now may He who supplies seed to the sower, and bread for food, supply and multiply the seed you have sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness,

11 while you are enriched in everything for all liberality, which causes thanksgiving through us to God.

Do you really need to know how FATHER manages to do everything HE does before you are willing to be a part of HIS plan?  Once you know HIM as a Loving FATHER Who will only instruct you to do things for your overall benefit, you will then become a cheerful giver to anyone: family, friend, or stranger.  We may know in part but FATHER knows the whole plan and will cause it to come to pass, with or without us.  As for me, I place my trust IN HIM.

The Narrow Gate

November 9th, 2015

In Matthew chapter 7, Jesus spoke:

13 “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it.

14 Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.”

A gate is a means of access or entry to a place and it is the point of separation or inclusion.  You are either in or out depending on which side of the gate you are on.  Jesus speaks of a gate that separates life from death and destruction.  There are those who choose life and by default the rest have chosen death.

Jesus makes it clear that it will not be easy to enter in through the narrow gate.  People are looking for solutions to this problem by examining and analyzing the external conditions of man.  They are looking for “the fountain of youth” as though it has been hidden in some remote place on earth.  The fountain of youth is not found in the external but can only be found in the internal.

If Jesus says it will be difficult, rest assured that it will.  We must strive to enter in as Luke writes in Luke 13:24 so we must not think that the masses have achieved this particular aspect of life.  Each of us must be willing to die to the flesh and keep it under subjection.  FATHER’S Word must be more alive in us than the world around us.  Jesus goes on to say:

15 “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.

16 You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thorn bushes or figs from thistles?

17 Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit.

18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit.

19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.

20 Therefore by their fruits you will know them.”

In this regard, a false prophet is one who falsely claims the gift of prophecy or divine inspiration, or who uses that gift for evil or lawlessness.  A ravenous wolf is one who seizes, grabs, claims for one’s self.  In other words, they will sacrifice you for the benefit of themselves.  Oh how I have seen ministers fleece the congregation for larger offerings in order to satisfy their fleshly desires and egos.  Jesus did not make a distinction between believers and unbelievers in the above verses.  He was comparing those who are obedient to those who are lawless.

The key to entering through the narrow gate is hearing and obeying FATHER’S Voice:

Romans 10:17  So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Those who are truly passionate to enter by the narrow gate will not be denied entry.  They will persist in their quest and FATHER will see their great faith and will answer them accordingly.  They will set aside what the world has to offer and will jettison the weights placed on them by the demands of the world.  I marvel at the people who now go to restaurants with others and sit around texting and surfing the net rather than communicating with the ones across the table.  Technology will not gain you entrance through the narrow gate.  There will be no cell phones allowed at the Great White Throne.

What if I can’t hear FATHER’S Voice?  Then be still and quiet your mind.  Often, the best time to hear is when you wake up in the morning.  The world has not yet bombarded you with its disinformation about life.  Some find it best at the end of the day knowing there is nothing else to deal with in the world for that day.  As you purpose to be still, FATHER will respond.  Is it easy to enter in?  If you have exercised your mind for years at the expense of your spirit, your mind will try to keep you from entering in.  You will analyze and reason away why you can’t hear FATHER.  Your mind will distract you from the stillness required to hear HIS Voice.  Don’t give up!

When you hear and respond to FATHER you will bear good fruit.  When you walk in Love, you set yourself up to become more sensitive to HIS Voice because you become like HIM.  When you seek to do those things which Love promotes, you take on HIS Character and those actions produce greater faith and you see the results as good fruit.

Entering through the narrow gate is not easy or else everyone would have already entered in.  We only have to inspect the fruit to see where people are at.  There is a remnant determined to enter in and stay in, forsaking the world.  Let each of us take on HIS Divine Nature and produce good fruit by hearing and responding to HIS directives.
