Help my Daddy beat cancer! <3 Mike Davis (Mike Davis)

Mike Davis from St Paul, MN, was diagnosed with a growing brain tumor after experiencing a couple sets of mysterious seizures (one in Feb and one first week in April).  Afterward, after much research he was led to Connor’s Clinic in Woodbury, MN where he began alternative therapy and treatment.  Mike will have notable healthcare costs and those interested in helping him offset these out-of-pocket costs can contribute at:

Mike and Connie Davis have attended some of the Stone Kingdom Ministries and God’s Kingdom Ministries conferences in the past.  Each of our family members face challenges and it can be overwhelming at times.  It seems many of the brethren are being challenged with health issues and we want to give those around the country (and world) an opportunity to give as FATHER directs.

Whom Do You Obey?

Wednesday, May 4th, 2016

In Acts chapter 5, the power of the Apostles grew:

12 And through the hands of the apostles many signs and wonders were done among the people. And they were all with one accord in Solomon’s Porch.

13 Yet none of the rest dared join them, but the people esteemed them highly.

14 And believers were increasingly added to the Lord, multitudes of both men and women,

15 so that they brought the sick out into the streets and laid them on beds and couches, that at least the shadow of Peter passing by might fall on some of them.

16 Also a multitude gathered from the surrounding cities to Jerusalem, bringing sick people and those who were tormented by unclean spirits, and they were all healed.

These were the same men who had dispersed when Jesus suffered at the cross but were now bold and empowered.  What changed?  They were filled with the Holy Ghost and power.  At the onset of this new age, FATHER deployed HIS remnant to go forth and spread the Gospel and it mattered not to the apostles what their enemies attempted to do to restrain them.  The prison could not hold them:

17 Then the high priest rose up, and all those who were with him (which is the sect of the Sadducees), and they were filled with indignation,

18 and laid their hands on the apostles and put them in the common prison.

19 But at night an angel of the Lord opened the prison doors and brought them out, and said,

20 “Go, stand in the temple and speak to the people all the words of this life.”

21 And when they heard that, they entered the temple early in the morning and taught. But the high priest and those with him came and called the council together, with all the elders of the children of Israel, and sent to the prison to have them brought.

Your angel’s mandate is to assist you in fulfilling your purpose.  As you align with that purpose, you enable your angel to work and act on your behalf even to the point that prison doors will be open for nothing created by man will constrain your efforts.  As we become perfected in our Love walk, we will come into full obedience to FATHER’S Word.  That assurance will overcome any resistance that arises by acts of the enemy of Christ.  You will no longer be swayed by man’s enticing words but instead will be fully led by the Holy Spirit moment by moment.  You will see the roadblocks for what they are and will navigate around them or through them as determined by FATHER.  It is by HIS Wisdom we will answer those who attempt to ensnare us for their own benefit.

Peter and the other apostles were brought before the council who discovered they were no longer in the prison:

25 So one came and told them, saying, “Look, the men whom you put in prison are standing in the temple and teaching the people!”

26 Then the captain went with the officers and brought them without violence, for they feared the people, lest they should be stoned.

27 And when they had brought them, they set them before the council. And the high priest asked them,

28 saying, “Did we not strictly command you not to teach in this name? And look, you have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine, and intend to bring this Man’s blood on us!”

29 But Peter and the other apostles answered and said: “We ought to obey God rather than men.”

It is clear that change is at hand.  With change comes crisis and many people will see their idols evaporate before their very eyes.  What they have trusted in will no longer be there for them and they will have great fear come upon them.  They will finally look for the True solution to life and will find those who obey FATHER and are guided by HIS SPIRIT.  They will look back at all of their “advisors” and realize that their worldly wisdom was at best temporary in nature for their foundation was built on sand.

It is imperative that you direct your focus to FATHER and HIS ways.  Only by Divine unconditional Love can those who obey HIS Word and SPIRIT be perfected and this perfection will soon be required to help a world in dire straits.  Those who are currently in power will seek out those whom FATHER has anointed for answers to what appear to be impossible hurdles to overcome.  Now is the time to become fully equipped and obey every Word FATHER speaks!

The New Commandment

Tuesday, May 3rd, 2016

The Beloved Disciple wrote in 1 John chapter 2:

1 My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.

2 And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world.

3 Now by this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments.

4 He who says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

5 But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him.

6 He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked.

Jesus was and is the atoning sacrifice for the whole world no matter what doctrine, tribe, creed, race, or nationality.  We must honor that reality and quit looking at others with eyes of disdain or hatred.  We must see them through eyes of Love.  Jesus shed His Blood for even the most vile of men and there are no exceptions.  Even though He performed such an act of Love, most people don’t really know Him for they do not keep His commandments.

There are those who proclaim to know Him yet they do not walk in Love and John calls them liars and the Truth is not in them.  You will not hear that Truth spoken often in the Church pulpit.  John continues by explaining the Truth of keeping His Word causes Love to be perfected in us and thus we are truly living IN HIM.

Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life and as Love is perfected in us, we will walk in that same manner.  Isn’t that our goal?  If not, the Truth is not fully formed in you and this is precisely why you must press in until that Truth permeates every aspect of your being.  John continues:

7 Beloved, I write no new commandment to you, but an old commandment which you have had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which you heard from the beginning.

8 Again, a new commandment I write to you, which thing is true in Him and in you, because the darkness is passing away, and the true light is already shining.

The commandment John speaks of is both old and new, depending on your level of darkness in understanding.  It is one and the same commandment- Love.  As the true light shines and opens your understanding, you will see the necessity of walking in the commandment of Love.  Further, you will understand why this commandment has been rejected by the masses for they are led by their own soulish desires and walk in the illusion of scarcity which has become their “reality”.

The CREATOR of Heaven and earth has all the resources mankind needs yet men look to their own devices in an attempt to satisfy their souls thus they look at the “old” commandment and unable to perceive the Truth.  Those who seek the Truth move toward the light and their eyes are enlightened.  John provides us a specific example to assess our walk by:

9 He who says he is in the light, and hates his brother, is in darkness until now.

10 He who loves his brother abides in the light, and there is no cause for stumbling in him.

11 But he who hates his brother is in darkness and walks in darkness, and does not know where he is going, because the darkness has blinded his eyes.

Each of us must critically review our current state.  Do you truly Love everyone or do you hate some?  Are you walking in the same manner of Jesus or do you have contempt for some?  Even your greatest enemy can be converted in just seconds.  Consider Paul who was Saul.  As we walk in Divine unconditional Love, the true light will shine through us toward others and that light will convey the new commandment John spoke of in the above passage.

Remove All Idols

Monday, May 2nd, 2016

An idol is created god-like image which is the object of worship.  In Deuteronomy chapter 27 the people were warned of creating and worshipping idols:

14 “And the Levites shall speak with a loud voice and say to all the men of Israel:

15 ‘Cursed is the one who makes a carved or molded image, an abomination to the LORD, the work of the hands of the craftsman, and sets it up in secret.’

“And all the people shall answer and say, ‘Amen!’

As we mature in Christ we see how futile it is for men to worship people, images, cars, money, statues, and any other created things.  Only FATHER is worthy of our worship.  Anything associated with man’s creation is only temporary and has no sustaining power to promote life.

In the U.S., marketing and advertising executives attempt to convince people to worship professional athletes, movie stars, and politicians.  They create a façade in order to get people to respond in some manner generally to extract money or votes from them.  They generate an illusion of grandeur to good to be true… and it is.  As we mature in Christ, we are no longer caught up in these illusions.  Heavenly priorities take up our focus, not man’s created idols.

Many Hollywood idols such as Elvis Presley and Marilyn Monroe have been idolized because they never reached old age.  The died in their prime and that is the only memory left.  Others who were unable to age gracefully were seen in their frailty and their appeal disappeared as their wrinkles came forth.  It is ridiculous to worship an illusion.

Star athletes only last for a rather short time and then all they have left are memories.  Why live in the past with them?  That new car is only new for a day before it becomes subject to depreciation, then it becomes a high-priced mode of transportation.  Jesus was not carried around sitting on a portable throne by four men.  He was practical in His travels.

Worshipping money and those who have it is possibly the greatest issue today.  Since mankind is in constant scarcity, money promises to produce fulfillment but never does.  We are warned that the love of money, or greed, is the root of all evil.  On the other hand, FATHER Loves a cheerful giver.  That giver uses money as a means to be a blessing to others rather than consuming it all on himself.  When the wealthiest man on earth dies, how much money will he leave?  The answer is simple:  all of it.

Ultimately you Love where you place your focus and time.  If you purpose to worship FATHER, your Love is properly directed.  Otherwise, you allow an idol to rise up and waste time, money, and other resources that could be directed to ministering life to mankind by you fulfilling your purpose.

Worshipping any man or woman will only produce disappointment.  At some point that person will flounder and miss the mark which will shatter your illusion of who you thought they were.  Idols can and do break.  They will grow old and brittle and only their memory will remain.  We must assess our actions and reactions to the “created” and repent of anything that has been exalted in our lives and taken our focus away from the CREATOR of Heaven and earth.  Only FATHER is deserving of our worship for HE created, formed us, and gave us life.  Can a man, statue, money, or a car do that?

Jesus made a very specific point about the misuse by man in Matthew chapter 21:

12 Then Jesus went into the temple of God and drove out all those who bought and sold in the temple, and overturned the tables of the money changers and the seats of those who sold doves.

13 And He said to them, “It is written, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer,’ but you have made it a ‘den of thieves.’

14 Then the blind and the lame came to Him in the temple, and He healed them.

Anytime man perverts what FATHER has established, there will come forth judgment to correct the perversity.  Remove yourself from any idols or misuse of what FATHER intended.

The Disquieted Man

Sunday, May 1st, 2016

Disquieted means: lack of calm, peace, or ease; anxiety; uneasiness.

Psalms 39:6 Surely every man walketh in a vain shew: surely they are disquieted in vain: he heapeth up riches, and knoweth not who shall gather them.

When you are not being led by THE SPIRIT you cannot be in absolute peace in the midst of chaos and turmoil.  Each day brings forth more questions rather than answers and you are always waiting for the “next shoe to fall”, something negative and unexpected.  You lack true hope for you have placed your trust in man and his systems rather than FATHER.

King Saul was a man who once had the anointing but lost it due to his decision to go against FATHER’S instructions.  He relied on his own understanding rather than trusting in FATHER.  Even though his anointing was lost, he continued in his office for a period of time.  We must be careful not to trust in man’s past accomplishments rather than FATHER’S current instruction.  Men will tell you of past successes in order to get you to align with them in the current situation.  You must guard yourself against being drawn in and following their alternate path which will lead you to destruction.

King Saul knew he lost the anointing so he became desperate.  In 1 Samuel chapter 28:

3 Now Samuel had died, and all Israel had lamented for him and buried him in Ramah, in his own city. And Saul had put the mediums and the spiritists out of the land.

4 Then the Philistines gathered together, and came and encamped at Shunem. So Saul gathered all Israel together, and they encamped at Gilboa.

5 When Saul saw the army of the Philistines, he was afraid, and his heart trembled greatly.

6 And when Saul inquired of the LORD, the LORD did not answer him, either by dreams or by Urim or by the prophets.

7 Then Saul said to his servants, “Find me a woman who is a medium, that I may go to her and inquire of her.”

Isn’t that what man does when he becomes disquieted?  He looks for answers anywhere and from anyone except FATHER.  King Saul should have repented and done nothing until FATHER responded but his ego would not allow him to humble himself before THE LORD.  FATHER allowed the medium to raise up Samuel and respond to King Saul:

15 Now Samuel said to Saul, “Why have you disturbed me by bringing me up?”

And Saul answered, “I am deeply distressed; for the Philistines make war against me, and God has departed from me and does not answer me anymore, neither by prophets nor by dreams. Therefore I have called you, that you may reveal to me what I should do.”

16 Then Samuel said: “So why do you ask me, seeing the LORD has departed from you and has become your enemy?

17 And the LORD has done for Himself as He spoke by me. For the LORD has torn the kingdom out of your hand and given it to your neighbor, David.

18 Because you did not obey the voice of the LORD nor execute His fierce wrath upon Amalek, therefore the LORD has done this thing to you this day.

19 Moreover the LORD will also deliver Israel with you into the hand of the Philistines. And tomorrow you and your sons will be with me. The LORD will also deliver the army of Israel into the hand of the Philistines.”

20 Immediately Saul fell full length on the ground, and was dreadfully afraid because of the words of Samuel. And there was no strength in him, for he had eaten no food all day or all night.

I believe we have entered a critical time in history and it is imperative that we hear FATHER’S Voice and seek HIS Face on a daily basis.  Now is the time to establish your priorities.  Countries around the world are in upheaval.  South America and the Middle East are seeing their people rise up in protests.  There is only one solution to the world’s problems and it is found in Divine Unconditional Love.  How can it be implemented?  It will be brought forth by the mature Sons of FATHER who have been prepared by HIM.  Their lights will shine forth and mankind will no longer resist the power and anointing flowing through them as directed by FATHER.  Everything else mankind has put their trust in will evaporate… including their riches.  In their disquieted souls they will finally reach out to the answer Heaven has provided.  Only then will there be a transition bringing Heaven to earth.

As The Days of Noah

Saturday, April 30th, 2016

Seven days ago FATHER had me focus on the faith during the times of judgment.  Once again this morning HE directed me to the Words Jesus spoke in Matthew chapter 24:

37 But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.

I must treat this as a warning to be shared among the brethren since my only intent is to share what is on FATHER’S Mind rather than my own.  Jesus clearly tells us that there is a parallel between the environment Noah was living in and the specific time we should expect “the coming”.  Further, Jesus mentions some specifics:

38 For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark,

39 and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.

Unrighteousness and wickedness had filled the earth and Noah and his family were the only ones to be saved from the imminent judgment to cleanse the earth.  The purpose of the flood was to remove the unrighteous and leave only the righteous to inhabit the earth.  Noah was not to be “raptured” away but was to dwell on the earth after the judgment was completed.

In similar manner, when the judgment came on Egypt the children of Israel were covered by the Blood on the doorpost on the night of Passover.  They were not taken away from the judgment but were protected by the Blood until the judgment was completed.

The days of Noah represent the transition between two ages.  The Pentecostal Age has drawn to a conclusion and those who represent that age are no longer of consequence.  There has been much written about the transition from Pentecost to Tabernacles and we are called to be patient during this transition just as Noah was patient as he endured the ridicule directed toward him and his family as they were building the ark.  Genesis chapter 6 provides us with perspective of just how bad it was:

5 Then the LORD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

The issue at hand is the intent of the heart.  Do we have unconditional Love or evil intent?  Evil intent produces wickedness and results in wars, famines, perversity, and anything else that challenges FATHER’S Divine Intent of peace, blessing, and life.  FATHER gives men plenty of time to repent and change their ways.  In our court system this is called “probation”.  Once found guilty, mercy allows for the court to place you on a time of probation to see if you have truly repented of your lawless acts.  If you “break” probation then you are required to serve time in prison and are taken away from the population.

My friend Kemper has been led to focus on this “probationary” period and has been in our discussions recently.  The aspiring Sons are required to go through probation to determine if they are acceptable as mature Sons to represent FATHER.  These are also known as vessels of honor.  Noah had to go through a time of probation and testing.  Jesus had to as well.  You and I must go through a similar time as the harvest comes forth with its fruit.  The firstfruits must be inspected to see if the harvest is ready.  Will FATHER find us ready for the harvest?

Let us each walk squarely in the middle of FATHER’S Divine Intent of Love and await HIS instructions.  Once received we must respond without hesitation and carry out HIS Will in accordance with HIS plan and purpose for our individual lives.  This writing is in response to HIS direction as is every one I write.  It is clear that the transition period is nearly complete and we must listen closely:

22 Thus Noah did; according to all that God commanded him, so he did.

FATHER closed the door to the ark and judgment came.  Get ready.

Final Preparations

Friday, April 29th, 2016

In Hebrews chapter 13, we are given instruction:

10 We have an altar from which those who serve the tabernacle have no right to eat.

11 For the bodies of those animals, whose blood is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest for sin, are burned outside the camp.

12 Therefore Jesus also, that He might sanctify the people with His own blood, suffered outside the gate.

We are to understand that worshipping in an outward fashion by tradition and its associated sacrifices have little or no benefit for our tabernacle is found in Heaven and there should be our focus.  Jesus was sacrificed outside the temple while the former sacrifices were conducted inside the gate.  His sacrifice was for all mankind and thus could not be confined to man’s temple.  Our altar is found in Heaven where His acceptable sacrifice was presented.

13 Therefore let us go forth to Him, outside the camp, bearing His reproach.

Men will attempt to rebuke, disgrace, and discredit the Sons just as Jesus suffered reproach by those in man’s authority.  We must accept the fact that the world does not understand the higher Truths as of now.  At some point they will be judged and have their eyes opened to the reality of the Way, the Truth, and the Life.  The Sons will minister on behalf or our Elder Brother with the same power and authority He drew upon.  The Pentecostal Age was “in part” whereas the Tabernacles Age is “in fullness”.

14 For here we have no continuing city, but we seek the one to come.

15 Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name.

16 But do not forget to do good and to share, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.

FATHER has designated the fullness of time for the operation of the Sons.  HE knows exactly when HIS Sons and Daughters are at full maturity and will not bring them forth early nor will HE wait beyond the appointed time.  The world continues on it path toward destruction yet when HIS Children are disclosed to the world, they will see that standard by which they are judged.  Their judgment will not be to everlasting destruction but will begin the time of correction and enlightenment.

We await and seek the “city” to come.  Let us offer our sacrifices of praise and adoration to Our Heavenly Father for we know HIS Plan and we patiently wait its execution.  We give HIM thanks for opening our eyes to HIS Perfect Plan, Will, and Purpose.  Let us not remain silent with respect to the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and let us share this passion with those who are willing to listen.  Do not be discouraged by those who reject the revelation given to the Sons for it is simply not their time to hear.  Many are blinded by the world’s ways and their own egos.  They want their reward now without realizing how temporary it is.  On the other hand, we know a Heavenly reward awaits us and know it it everlasting.

What a small price to pay by suffering reproach as Jesus did.  Don’t concern yourself about the necessity of suffering for Christ’s sake for it is only temporary.  As we embrace the fellowship of His sufferings we will be more than willing to nail our ego to the cross and die to the flesh.

Last but not least, do not forget to do good and to share.  FATHER is well pleased as we actively represent HIM by expressing Love to others.  We should go about doing good.

Christ Is Our Example

Thursday, April 28th, 2016

In the second chapter of First Peter, he tells us to honor the authority placed over us whether they be kings or governors who will execute judgment over evildoers and give praise to the righteous.  Then he explains:

20 For what credit is there if, when you sin and are harshly treated, you endure it with patience? But if when you do what is right and suffer for it you patiently endure it, this finds favor with God.

We are to patiently endure when we suffer for doing what is right just as Jesus did.  Many Christians want to take matters into their own hands and execute judgment against those who do them wrong.  If they do, then they have received their lesser reward from the world.  Instead, we should be entrusting ourselves to FATHER WHO judges righteously and will provide us with a Heavenly reward:

21 For you have been called for this purpose, since Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example for you to follow in His steps,

22 WHO COMMITTED NO SIN, NOR WAS ANY DECEIT FOUND IN HIS MOUTH;

23 and while being reviled, He did not revile in return; while suffering, He uttered no threats, but kept entrusting Himself to Him who judges righteously;

Which reward do you want- the temporary or eternal?  People do not want to suffer yet Jesus is shown here to be the example we must follow.  This particular passage is not often mentioned to encourage us to follow for everyone gets excited about the overcoming King and those whom He has chosen as Sons.  The overcoming ministry follows the preparation through suffering and dying to the flesh.

In 1 Corinthians chapter 4, Paul writes:

10 We are fools for Christ’s sake, but you are prudent in Christ; we are weak, but you are strong; you are distinguished, but we are without honor.

11 To this present hour we are both hungry and thirsty, and are poorly clothed, and are roughly treated, and are homeless;

12 and we toil, working with our own hands; when we are reviled, we bless; when we are persecuted, we endure;

13 when we are slandered, we try to conciliate; we have become as the scum of the world, the dregs of all things, even until now.

14 I do not write these things to shame you, but to admonish you as my beloved children.

15 For if you were to have countless tutors in Christ, yet you would not have many fathers, for in Christ Jesus I became your father through the gospel.

16 Therefore I exhort you, be imitators of me.

Our reward requires much of us and we must let unconditional Love be at the forefront of our response to the harsh realities of the current world system.  We must be willing to deal with the “crap” knowing that FATHER will reward us with Heavenly riches which are everlasting.  Everyone want the power and authority of Christ yet few are willing to endure suffering as both Peter and Paul tell of us of this necessity.  We must be of good courage and know FATHER will provide us strength to endure.  In all things be content and know that your redemption draweth nigh.

Gain to Attain

Wednesday, April 27th, 2016

In Philippians Chapter 3, Paul wrote:

7 But whatever things were gain to me, those things I have counted as loss for the sake of Christ.

8 More than that, I count all things to be loss in view of the surpassing value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them but rubbish so that I may gain Christ,

9 and may be found in Him, not having a righteousness of my own derived from the Law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which comes from God on the basis of faith,

10 that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death;

11 in order that I may attain to the resurrection from the dead.

Paul urges us to live by a Spiritual standard established by Jesus Christ.  There will be many who will not view this standard as their priority but have chosen the reward of worldly pleasure instead.  Paul, on the other hand, counts those things as “rubbish” and loss.  He realized that FATHER had set aside a remnant who would press on to attain the resurrection from the dead and that was his goal.  There are some of us who grasp that goal and are in pursuit of it as well.

Everyone wants to operate in the power of His resurrection who have read the Book of Acts and saw how the disciples went from average men to  those having signs and miracles following.  However we must look at the second half of this verse where we have “fellowship” of His sufferings and become “conformed” to His death.  What does this mean?  Paul explains this in Romans chapter 8:

13  for if you are living according to the flesh, you must die; but if by the Spirit you are putting to death the deeds of the body, you will live.

We must die to the flesh in order to live and walk in the SPIRIT.  Are you willing to die to the flesh or is your flesh overtaking your desire to come into full maturity in Christ?  Each of us must individually determine our own priority and assess our progress.  Over time our understanding expands and we realize there is more to life than what the world offers.  FATHER reveals HIMSELF to those whom HE has chosen to set a standard of Christ on this earth.  When you realize this high calling you will truly respond in the same manner as Paul in counting all things “loss” in view of the surpassing value of knowing Christ!

In Philippians 3, Paul continues:

12 Not that I have already obtained it or have already become perfect, but I press on so that I may lay hold of that for which also I was laid hold of by Christ Jesus.

13 Brethren, I do not regard myself as having laid hold of it yet; but one thing I do:forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead,

14 I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

15 Let us therefore, as many as are perfect (fully mature), have this attitude; and if in anything you have a different attitude, God will reveal that also to you;

16 however, let us keep living by that same standard to which we have attained.

We must not get discouraged by this time period prior to HIS coming in us and through us to minister as lights unto the world.  We must embrace the fellowship of sufferings through the cross by  nailing our old man to that cross and being raised up on the other side.  Our flesh must die!  As we die to the flesh we gain Christ and as we fully mature we attain the standard which men will see.  That standard of righteousness will expose rampant sin and unrighteousness and men will be judged accordingly.

Prince

Tuesday, April 26th, 2016

An appropriate word from my friend Alan Newton:

The Prince is son of the King 4-26-2016

There has been much attention and excitement recently about the sudden and unexpected death of the singer/song writer known as Prince, and many have been emotionally impacted by the death of Prince. If those that are emotionally mourning the passing of Prince understood more clearly the spiritual implication of his name, and the color purple that seemed to be almost a symbolic trademark of his music ministry/career, much of the sadness of his unexpected demise could be replaced with joy, and great peace. Everything is a Spiritual message to us, whether we can hear it or not. It was reported Prince was 57 years of age at his passing. Fifty. And seven. Those numbers are not without serious signification in scripture. I won’t elaborate on that here.

The word ‘purple’ appears in the King James translation 39 times in the Old Testament, and 9 times in the new. This writing is interested primarily in the O.T. usage, and the Hebrew concept that is behind the word we translate as ‘purple’. The Christ was scourged with 39 ‘stripes’ at crucifixion, according to the dictates of Torah. Coincidence? Probably not. Purple is referred to more in Exodus (26 times) than the rest of the Bible combined, for purple is used much in the description of the character of the tabernacle in the wilderness, as Moses was instructed to fashion it. And in every Exodus verse containing the word purple, the purple is preceded by the word blue. Why?

I was first introduced to the concept of purple by Rudy Jones in his Tabernacle Teachings that are rich in character, and deep in spiritual understandings. It was Rudy that introduced to me the idea that blue is representative of Spirit, red is representative of ‘adam ( ‘dam’, among other things, is recognized as blood, and red), and purple was the combining of the red of adam with the blue of spirit. So from this concept, purple could be representative of adam when he is introduced to, and impacted by, God’s Spirit. I accepted that idea, lock stock and barrel, and still do 30 years later; even more so 30+ years later.

My fascination with Biblical Hebrew has taught me that ‘adam’ is living soul, and as such, is destined to produce chaos and disorder until such time as ‘adam’ submits the carnal appetites to the superior leading of Holy Spirit teachings. The Hebrew word ‘torah’, or law, is better understood as ‘teachings’. In that analogy, adam being red would take on the blue of spiritual guidance, and the end result is a manifestation known as purple. But why? What does purple represent; and as purple, why is it always preceded by blue in the tabernacle in the wilderness representations?

The remainder of this writing will require the reader to ‘hear’ by the spirit what is being revealed in this pageantry, and not be confused or distracted by the carnal interpretations and western transliterations of a message that was only intended to communicate a spiritual truth, in parable and metaphor, and not a natural or physical reality. God is Spirit, and so the message to ‘adam’ is one of Spirit Nature.

The Hebrew word we translate as purple is pronounced as ‘argaman’; nmgra The root word in this compound called ‘argaman’ is ‘ragam’, or in Hebrew, ~gr, and as with all root words, ‘ragam’ is an action verb. ‘Ragam’, as an action root verb, appears in scripture 16 times (?), and is translated all but two of those times as “…to stone”, as in stoning an individual. The concept of stoning in the Bible isn’t lost on religion and the natural or carnal mind, but the spiritual life of the word remains mysteriously hidden. Israel, as a group or family that followed the teachings from Moses, was told that those in their midst that refused to conform to the spiritual teachings were to be ‘stoned with stones’. The implication is that the non-conformist was to be stoned to death. But wait. The ‘stoners’ were told to stone the violator with ‘stones’. And the word translated as ‘stones’ is the Hebrew ‘eben’ !ba. And the root of the word eben, a stone and a noun, is the Hebrew ben !b, which is the son. How many times in the scripture is God referred to as the Rock? And ‘eben’, or stone, is the building material with which to build the son.

KJV Numbers 15:36 And all the congregation brought him without the camp, and stoned (ragam ~gr) him with stones (eben !ba) and he died;

I hope you are beginning to see this spiritual truth. ‘adam’ has to die to his ‘adam nature and control, and come alive anew in the Spirit of God. But that is only the beginning of the story. As adam (red) dies to his carnal appetites, he comes alive anew (rebirth) in the Spirit (blue), and the result then is the purple (red plus blue make purple) that is indicative that the red man has now put on the Spirit of God, which is Love, and his purple recognition is that of royalty. Purple is the color most often designated as royalty. And incidentally, adam never loses his red appetites, but rather submits them to the Spirit of God (blue) in order to obtain a purple recognition. It is in our Purple Identity as Spirit Royalty that we manifest a Purple Reign. The purple rain of the Purple Reign is by having the blue of God Spirit added to our adam red. This is so basic in the pageantry of the tabernacle that Moses was told to rear. And the word purple (argaman) means that you have died to your carnal adam control, and are now submitted to the leading and guidance of God Spirit. We must be stoned (ragam) with stones (eben) to bring us to death to our carnal control and accept the Spirit of God as our ‘son’ (ben) recognition and identity. And as the son, we are also the Prince (sar rf), and the prince is son of the king. The word for prince, or sar, is also the foundation of the word Israel (y’ sar el), ‘Sarai and Sarah (princess), and also the word for flesh (basar rfb). And so the flesh (basar) of the Prince (sar) is covered in purple (argaman) to show that he has died to the control of carnal appetites, and is now alive as the Son by the Spirit of The Father (The King). The Purple Reign is the son living in submission to the Life of The Father. Incidentally, in the pageantry of the tabernacle, we see over and over again the phrase “…blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine linen…”. [Ex. 25:4] The word translated as ‘fine linen’ is the Hebrew ‘sheysh’, or VV. And this also happens to be the exact spelling, and pronunciation, of the Hebrew for ‘six’. Six? The number for man? So, what does all of this blue and purple and scarlet and fine linen refer to? This entire pageant is all about the parables and metaphors and analogies that prove, over and over and over again, that we are the Tabernacle of God. We always have been, and we always will be. And only when we are submitted to the Spirit of God, which is Love, that we exhibit and manifest our Prince nature in a Purple Reign. And so, what if the Prince of Purple Reign should suddenly and without expectation pass from this scene? Well, he just ascends to The Father. What a glorious finale to ascend from the Prince of Purple Reign to The Father. What great peace that is. Shalom, Y’all.
