Watching your words

Sunday, March 2nd, 2014

James 3:5 Even so the tongue is a little member and boasts great things.  See how great a forest a little fire kindles!

6 And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity. The tongue is so set among our members that it defiles the whole body, and sets on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire by hell.

7 For every kind of beast and bird, of reptile and creature of the sea, is tamed and has been tamed by mankind.

James admonished us earlier to be swift to hear and slow to speak.  Words convey blessing or cursing.  What are your words projecting?  What are your actions or non-verbal acts communicating?  “Self” projects loftiness and entitlement rather than an “attitude of gratitude”.  We should be thankful for what Our Heavenly Father has given us for “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above”.

To the pure, all things are pure, but to the impure, all things are impure.  Words can build nations, words can topple nations.  Their power is well established.  Words move markets up or down, words promote Love or hate.  Let our words come forth as blessings to others.  Let our acts support our words.  Be not double-minded in your words and actions.  With maturity comes consistency.  Ultimately, out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks.  Consider your words, consider your actions.  Both speak volumes about what is in your heart.

Sunday, March 2nd, 2014

Son of GOD

Sunday, March 2nd, 2014

We saw the movie “Son of GOD” yesterday.  It began with John, the Beloved Disciple, speaking. It was in theatre #16 (Love).  It is so refreshing to see another world-class movie about Our Lord and Savior.  Once again, a standard is raised to expose the sin, lawlessness, and debauchery that it out there.

Ukraine: Potential Black Swan

Saturday, March 1st, 2014

I have spoken of Black Swans in past blogs.  These are unexpected events that the market does not consider or plan.  Western planners would like to tap into the energy underneath soil in the Ukraine.  Russia does not want to give up its influence either.  One should keep a watchful eye on how all of this unfolds.

Gold Manipulation?

“Gold Fix Study Points to Decade of Bank Manipulation“

We have been talking about this for years.  It is interesting that finally the media is reporting it.   Silver has been manipulated as well, even to a greater degree.  It appears that the days are numbered for those who have assumed they were above scrutiny.  Maybe we are entering the time of reconciling “Equal Weights and Measures”.  Get the scales out.

Order, Interdependence and Unity

Friday, February 28th, 2014

Revelation 21:17 Then he measured its wall: one hundred and forty-four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of an angel.

There are many facets to the mysteries and symbolism found in the Book of Revelations.  Each and every number is meaningful and was placed in Scripture with specific intent.  The number 144 refers to the resurrected ones and is the numerical value of Lazarus.  Lazarus was from Bethany.  A cubit is roughly 18 inches thus 144 cubits represents 216 feet, the number of Joshua.  There are many other facets about New Jerusalem but our focus is the wall being fitly joined together.

Each stone in the wall was unique and had a specific place in the wall, in its own order.  No stone was called to be out there alone.  Each of us are called to be in unity and the mortar that holds us together is Love.  The measuring device used was a “reed”.  A reed is pliable and can be shaken.  It has low resistance to the Spirit.  The musical reed uses “wind” to create a sound of harmony.  As you raise the vibration, a musical note is produced.  Our atoms’ vibration will be raised as well and will take on attributes of the “resurrected ones”.

The strength of the wall is determined by the interdependence of each stone with the others.  “United we stand” is the simple rallying cry of the overcomers.  Yes, we were all called to spend time alone outside the camp in order that we could mature through direct ministry from Our Heavenly Father.  But the time of preparation does not last forever.  Moses left isolation to fulfill his calling.  Paul returned after his time of preparation.  How much longer are we to remain separated as a “pile” of rocks awaiting the wall to be built?

Unity is strength.  The number 216 is also the result of multiplying 6 x 6 x 6.  The first use of 666 is found in 1 Kings 10:14: “The weight of gold that came to Solomon yearly was six hundred and sixty-six talents of gold.”  Gold represents Divine Nature in Scripture.  We must remember that numbers have a positive and a negative associated with them.  Which aspect of the number do you tend to focus?  There are always reasons to stay separated, but the stones were called forth to build a wall.  The wall separates as well as protects.  It separates the righteous from the lawless.  It is the standard that is raised to differentiate the two.  As we move toward greater unity, the wall will be formed in proper order and with an interlocking dependence that will provide strength to withstand the iniquity that has reached its fullness.

Oil Independence?

Thursday, February 27th, 2014

“Just a few of the roadblocks: Independent producers will spend $1.50 drilling this year for every dollar they get back. Shale output drops faster than production from conventional methods. It will take 2,500 new wells a year just to sustain output of 1 million barrels a day in North Dakota’s Bakken shale, according to the Paris-based International Energy Agency. Iraq could do the same with 60.”  Source:  http://finance.yahoo.com/news/dream-u-oil-independence-slams-000001732.html

We discussed the economics of horizontal shale wells 5 years ago and had concluded then that the economics didn’t add up.  Now the media is admitting the same conclusion.  I wonder why the media took so long to draw the same conclusion?  Maybe it is because those in charge of the stories did not see fit to share the reality until now.

Urging and Guiding

Thursday, February 27th, 2014

“Many are called, but few are chosen”.  It is my deepest desire to urge and guide you into full maturity as a member of the Remnant.  There are those who will participate in the next major aspect of Our Heavenly Father’s plan, there are those who will observe the outworking of the plan, and finally, there are those who will be blinded to the plan and be without any understanding.

First and foremost, I urge you to focus on getting the revelation of Love.  In a recent post about the passing of Bob Jones, the prophet, Stephen Jones wrote:

About ten years ago, Bob Jones had a near-death experience but was prayed back to life. He returned with a word from the Lord. He said that when we meet Jesus, He will not ask how many people were saved under your ministry, but will ask: Did you learn to love? In other words, it is not really about our works, but about our character and relationship with God and men.

What an important question that Jesus asked him!  How would you respond?  I urge you to be rooted and grounded in Love.  As many of you know we have two books available on this topic at: www.unity153.net

Guiding you to maturity is not meant to replace your time praying or studying the Scriptures.  It is meant to aid you as an additional resource and encouragement.  The specific purpose of our online Bible studies is to assist you toward a greater level of maturity.  We are of no reputation and only want to point you toward the straight and narrow path of righteousness in a world filled with perversion and lawlessness.  We want you to be prepared at the coming of the next “Day of the LORD”.  As you come to full maturity, you will be included in the “Standard” to be used in the judgment to come.  Let me explain.  When Jesus came as a light unto the world, this was a standard by which sin was exposed.  When the Law was given at Mount Sinai, sin could then be judged. A “standard” is something you measure against.  When a standard is raised, a comparison of righteousness is then given that sin can be dealt with in corrective judgment.

Consider Noah:

Genesis 6:9  This is the genealogy of Noah. Noah was a just man, perfect in his generations. Noah walked with God.

Perfect:

  1. complete, whole, entire, sound

    1. complete, whole, entire

    2. whole, sound, healthful

    3. complete, entire (of time)

    4. sound, wholesome, unimpaired, innocent, having integrity

    5. what is complete or entirely in accord with truth and fact

Wouldn’t you say that Noah was a “standard” by which the rest of the inhabitants of the earth could be judged against?

:11  The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence.

:12  So God looked upon the earth, and indeed it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted their way on the earth.

Our Heavenly Father looked upon the earth and compared the inhabitants to Noah.  It was now time for judgment to come.  The standard had been raised.  Our Heavenly Father waited for the ark to be built before evoking judgment on the earth: 1 Peter 3: 20 … the Divine longsuffering waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was being prepared, in which a few, that is, eight souls, were saved through water.

Our Heavenly Father is patiently “waiting” for HIS harvest of mature sons and daughters.  HE is awaiting the “perfection” or fullness of maturity of HIS Remnant in Love:

1 John 2:5  But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him.

1 John 4:17  Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world.

1 John 4:18  There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.

Only you can determine if you are moving toward full maturity or perfection.  I can urge you and guide you toward full maturity, but in the end, you must make the commitment yourself.  You must set aside time to pray and meditate on the Scriptures.  You must immerse yourself in the study of those areas where you are weak.  There is power in HIS Word.  Kemper’s book “Raising the Remnant” provides an excellent outline to the path of full maturity.  That is why we are currently conducting the Bible study focusing on this book (http://www.ustream.tv/channel/the-baptism-of-love)

We are to set aside human standards for those standards are increasingly based on lawlessness and perversity.  We must base our lives on Our Heavenly Father’s standards.  We do not wage war according to the flesh for the weapons of our warfare are not carnal.  We are called to maturity in order that the carnal and corrupt world and every thought that exalt itself against the knowledge of Our Heavenly Father may be judged.  We must take every thought captive and teach people to obey Christ.  As 1 Corinthians 10:6 says “and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled."  Our obedience is fulfilled when we reach “perfection” or maturity.  At that time will the fullness of time arrive.  I urge you to press in and be a participant, not just an observer.

Wiping Away the Tears

Wednesday, February 26th, 2014

Isaiah 25:8  He will swallow up death forever,

And the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from all faces;

The rebuke of His people

He will take away from all the earth;

For the LORD has spoken.

One of the most difficult aspects of revelation is that you see missed opportunities and no richness of life in those who will not change.  They continue to suffer, thinking that the same failed views, decisions, and actions of life will somehow result in a different outcome this time.  I have seen many friends and family with potential only to see them live their lives in disappointment.  They are just one revelation from overcoming their situation but somehow defend their blindness.  This produces great sadness and as Jesus put it, “Forgive them, they know not what they do”.

Our comfort may not fully materialize until the veil is completely removed and we see HIS Glory and the fullness of HIS Plan of Redemption.  HIS expression of Love will not fully be comprehended until then.  It will only be then when ALL the tears are wiped away by a Loving Father.  Until that day, we must trust HIM as we walk out this life on earth and experience the tragedies confronting each of us knowing that HIS Love is greater than any disappointment, loss, tragedy, or separation.
