Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in 2 Corinthians chapter 4:
4 Now, it’s because of God’s mercy that we have been entrusted with the privilege of this new covenant ministry. And we will not quit or faint with weariness. 2 We reject every shameful cover-up and refuse to resort to cunning trickery or distorting the Word of God. Instead, we open up our souls to you by presenting the truth to everyone’s conscience in the sight and presence of God. 3 Even if our gospel message is veiled, it is only veiled to those who are perishing, 4 for their minds have been blinded by the god of this age, leaving them in unbelief. Their blindness keeps them from seeing the dayspring light of the wonderful news of the glory of Jesus Christ, who is the Divine image of God.
5 We don’t preach ourselves, but rather the lordship of Jesus Christ, for we are your servants for Jesus’ sake. 6 For God, who said,
“Let brilliant light shine out of darkness,” is the One who has cascaded his light into us—the brilliant dawning light of the glorious knowledge of God as we gaze into the face of Jesus Christ. TPT
I marvel at the blindness in the world. “I once was lost but now I’m found” contains much revelation in itself. When I try to communicate the Truth found only in Our Lord Jesus Christ, it becomes very apparent to me that those who are blind cannot even seem to compare fruitfulness to “fruitlessness”. Yet even those who are wise in the world practices will look to experts with a known track record.
The beloved disciple wrote in 1 John chapter 3:
3 Look with wonder at the depth of the Father’s marvelous love that he has lavished on us! He has called us and made us his very own beloved children. The reason the world doesn’t recognize who we are is that they didn’t recognize him. 2 Beloved, we are God’s children right now; however, it is not yet apparent what we will become. But we do know that when it is finally made visible, we will be just like him, for we will see him as he truly is. 3 And all who focus their hope on him will always be purifying themselves, just as Jesus is pure.
As you and I focus on purifying ourselves, we will receive deeper revelation from FATHER and many Truths will become self evident. We will look back at our past immaturity, comments, and actions and say “What was I thinking?” Thankfully our Covenant with FATHER allows for a complete blotting out of our past sins and HE remembers them no more.
Jesus spoke in John 14:
19 “A little while longer and the world will see Me no more, but you will see Me. Because I live, you will live also. 20 At that day you will know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you. 21 He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.”
22 Judas (not Iscariot) said to Him, “Lord, how is it that You will manifest Yourself to us, and not to the world?”
23 Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him. 24 He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine but the Father’s who sent Me.
In the end, our Covenant with FATHER is all about Love. Our Love for Jesus must be passionate and kindle a Holy flame within our hearts. If you have become lukewarm, it is time to repent as I did when I realized that I had been drawn away by focusing on minor topics in Scripture. In December of 2005, FATHER corrected me and showed my where and when I had left the path of HIS Divine Intent for me. It took time for me to rekindle that Holy flame but it can and will be done to those who desire such Holy passion.
We must become diligent in walking according to our Covenant with FATHER else we will not mature to the highest level intended for us. HE calls out “come up hither” and if we have ears to hear, we will ascend up the Holy Mountain into HIS Presence. That is exactly where I want to dwell.
