One of our greatest challenges is to embrace the reality and power contained in the Words of Jesus. Manifestation of those Words in our lives converts our intellectual understanding to revelation and light. Every Word and act was directly ordained by FATHER to reveal HIS Divine Intent for those who would become mature Sons and Daughters. How can we walk in our Covenant with FATHER if we don’t fully understand our Covenant and Its benefits?
Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in 1 Corinthians chapter 11:23-26
For I received from the Lord that which I also delivered to you: that the Lord Jesus
on the same night in which He was betrayed took bread; and when He had given
thanks, He broke it and said, “Take, eat; this is My body which is broken for you; do this in remembrance of Me.” In the same manner He also took the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the New Covenant in My Blood. This do, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me.” For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death till He comes.
Paul received a direct revelation from FATHER concerning the New Covenant perfected by The Blood of Our Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus Himself emphasized the importance of The Blood so we should take Communion “often”, not out of duty but out of a passion desire to live life in its fullest.
Paul further revealed by The Holy Spirit in 2 Corinthians chapter 3:4-6
And we have such trust through Christ toward God. Not that we are sufficient of
ourselves to think of anything as being from ourselves, but our sufficiency is from
God, who also made us sufficient as ministers of the New Covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.
The Spirit of THE LORD gives us life and freedom and in contrast, blindness results in bondage and death. I must acknowledge FATHER in all my ways as it is written in Proverbs chapter 3:
5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart,
And lean not on your own understanding;
6 In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall direct your paths.
If I don’t acknowledge HIM in all my ways then HE is not completely directing my path. One way many have not truly acknowledged HIM is their unwillingness to give HIM their tithe. They effectively impair the financial blessings set aside for them from the treasures of Heaven. Am I willing to give at least 10% to open FATHER’S treasures? Absolutely!
Gal 3:15-18
Brethren, I speak in the manner of men: Though it is only a man’s covenant, yet if it is confirmed, no one annuls or adds to it. Now to Abraham and his Seed were the
promises made. He does not say, “And to seeds,” as of many, but as of one, “And to your Seed,” who is Christ. And this I say, that the law, which was four hundred and thirty years later, cannot annul the covenant that was confirmed before by God in Christ, that it should make the promise of no effect. For if the inheritance is of the law, it is no longer of promise; but God gave it to Abraham by promise.
The Covenant of Abraham and related blessings are for us as well. The Law did not annul this covenant thus it is still in effect. We have been made worthy to walk in the blessings of Abraham by The Blood thus let us not be reluctant to expect its benefits.
Heb 7:20-22
And inasmuch as He was not made priest without an oath (for they have become
priests without an oath, but He with an oath by Him who said to Him:
“The Lord has sworn and will not relent, ‘You are a priest forever According to the
order of Melchizedek'”), by so much more Jesus has become a surety of a better covenant.
We need to focus on our First Love! Participating in true Communion will reinforce our passion but if we take communion as a custom or obligation, nothing will change. If we want to walk in the fullness of our Covenant, we must return to our first Love and no longer be lukewarm in any area of our lives.
There is no way I can dwell in the Secret Place (Psalm 91) if I don’t submit to FATHER in all areas of the Covenant. I may get a glimpse but in order to remain in HIS Presence, I must be “all in”. This clarifies why many are called but few are chosen. Submitting any aspect of our life to the constant pull of the world will disqualify us from walking in the fullness AND fruitfulness of the Covenant.
There will be ministries who have lost their first Love that will close down and go away. Anything built on wood, hay, and/or stubble will be removed and no longer hinder those who need to hear the true Gospel.
