By THE SPIRIT it is written in Hebrews chapter 5:
11 of whom we have much to say, and hard to explain, since you have become dull of hearing.
12 For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the first principles of the oracles of God; and you have come to need milk and not solid food.
13 For everyone who partakes only of milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, for he is a babe.
14 But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, that is, those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.
We must be vigilant in our pursuit of growing in maturity in our walk with FATHER. I personally believe this is a daily consciousness of be led by HIM in all we do. The above passage clearly states we can become slack in our walk and return to the state of being dull of hearing. What is the key to partaking of solid food? Discerning both good and evil.
We must protect ourselves from the constant influx of the world’s perversion which is attempting to dilute our understanding, knowledge, and wisdom. The world is constantly projecting humanistic ideas and philosophies that at best only have half-truths. We must protect ourselves by hearing FATHER and being fully led by THE SPIRIT as we navigate the constant influx presented by the world.
Truth is only found with FATHER’S Word and Divine Intent and all else is a deviation of the Truth. Yet if we don’t keep the Standard of Truth before us how can we discern between good and evil? If we will start the day out with a specific Truth from FATHER, we will be better prepared as we are exposed to all the deviations being promoted from all types of external sources.
There will be those who will attempt to manipulate us away from the Truth and it could even be a loved one but we must remain steadfast in our focus of keeping the unadulterated Word before our eyes. We must trust FATHER to deal with those who would try to steer us away from HIS Truth and allow HIS judgments to come forth as HE sees fit. If we attempt to evoke judgment then we have restricted the fullness of HIS judgment.
Let each of us purpose to not lose sight of our overall pursuit toward maturity and become dull of hearing. Do not grow weary in studying and meditating on The Word. Let our relationship with FATHER be first and foremost in our priorities.
